Speaker 2 (00:08):
Welcome to the Biggest Show. Is our biggest show, biggest,
biggest to speak the show.

eleventh of August twenty twenty six. No mo Ye, no
Hoidy j But you've got Kezy and Pugs Son and
a whole lot of best of the Big Show moments.
Of course, the Big Show itself brought to you by Reburger.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
Grave Worthy street Food freshly made with Reburger. That's right.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Just because the fellows are away doesn't mean that we
aren't sponsored by Reburger and don't have fifty bucks worth
of Reburger to give away every single text on three
four eighty three automatically in the drawer. And Pugs. We've
got a huge show here, don't we.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
We've got a massive show today, Keezy, at these all sorts,
it's going to be a little bit different from the usual,
I think, yeah, I'd say so. But I've been diving
deep in the archives today and just a reminder of
all of our podcast listeners, I am doing best of
the outro too. Oh the disclaimer, I should say the
new name of the podcast outro. That's right. So it's
a bit of a moment in time. I've gone back
to this time of year over the last couple of
years to see what we were up to, right, okay,
(01:13):
sort of refresher, But do you want to know what
our best bits. I'm going to be spinning absolutely what's
happening on the big show with old tag. Good work, Pugs.
Thank you, you're welcome for that. No, look first, right
out the gate. This time last year, Jase had some
(01:34):
massive breaking news, so we're going to be diving into
that and the breaking news. Let me just say this, Keezy,
it pertains to you in a big way.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Right, breaking news pertaining to me. Okay, if it's anything
to do with me having a kid, I'm gonna be fuming.
Also coming up, because the Goat is starting on Monday
our search for the greatest song of all time, Pugs
and I are going to be doing daily Goat head
to head battles. Today's battle is the Goat workout song.
That's right, Keezy.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
So if you think one right, then when he said
best workout song and you thought of one, we want
you to text tip through on three for eight three.
Every text ob' see in the draw for those really
big gear vouchers. But also we'll put ours in and
then we want to get your opinion on which one.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Is the goat.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah, so get those ticks coming through three four eight three.
Also a little later on as well, your chance to
get in the drawer to join us in Wellington for
the Ivana Flights accommodation. It is all happening here, but
it's dos and tunes a Pugs ah? Is this the
food Fighters?
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Man?
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Yeah? Man, what a way to suck.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
It is the Dandy Warholes on the Hdarchy Big Show
Tuesday afternoon with Kezy and Pugs. It's time for some
best of moments Pugs.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
That's it. And this time last year we got breaking
news from Hoody j. It was pretty massive. So it
pertains to one of your favorite television shows that he
actually got the call up for. Oh wow, this is
breaking news?
Speaker 5 (02:55):
Did it do?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
The was?
Speaker 6 (03:01):
Something's happened for old Hoody Jay? And I feel it's
only right that I let you fellas know because it's
going to affect you directly. Wow, okay, I don't know
if you've heard of the show Celebrity Treasure Island.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah, I love that show. It's mine of my wife's
guilty pleasures.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
Yes, yes, yeah, you bagging on about it forever, keasy,
over and over and over again. Well, exciting news. I've
been asked if I want to be a part of it,
and I agonized, as you would, because it's a big
time commitment. And in the end I committed and said yes,
(03:41):
I'm prepared to do it.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
How good? Yeah, yeah, right, congret. I don't know how
I mean, it.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
All depends on how long you stay, you know, in
terms of how long I'll be away.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Feelings. Money for charity? Man brov you man Brovo you charity?
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. All the money is for charity,
is it. Yeah? So that's cool. One hundred grand you'll
win for your nominated charity.
Speaker 6 (04:02):
Yeah, but I'll get paid too, right, I mean we
can go menutaie later on.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
A couple of things, man.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
First of all, don't they like try and keep it
a secret until the show's announced.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
They try, like I don't know if if.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
They like want one of the potential contestants going on
live radio and announcing that they're going to be on it.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Have you want the best, you got to pay the
price exactly.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
And all publicity is good, I know, and just seeing
how much it's going to affect the ratings to know
that old Hoidy j Is going to be on CTI.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Burning the hands with the bush. Write that down, man.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
But there's just that's great.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
Man.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
I'm stoked.
Speaker 7 (04:43):
You don't seem very man on the Celebrity Treasure Island.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
That's like, that's big time show.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
The only concern I have is that I'll probably have
to wear shorts at some stage.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Get in borrow keysyspeedos. Oh yeah, that's a good idea.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Your pink ones and are you be swimming in those.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Up the front?
Speaker 3 (05:04):
You wouldn't feel about.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Board shore, But.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
I just felt it was important to let you fellus
because it does directly.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Totally, Jason, I appreciate it. I'd kind of have a
small issue with this though, because you're my agent, right, correct,
I am yea, And I told you as soon as
it was announced. I think it was a couple of
weeks ago that it had been funded in green lit.
But i'd be interested in doing the show because I'm
a big fan of it.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
Well, I remember you coming up to me before you
went away on your trip and telling me that, and
I thought, what a great idea. So what well, so
I put myself forward and they went absolutely We were
too scared to ask.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah. I mean, I guess you'd say I'm top to you.
Speaker 7 (05:44):
Yeah, it's celebrity wise, I mean, and of the leftovers here.
Speaker 6 (05:48):
To be honest, I probably hate it. I'll probably hate it,
but you know, it's something different. And I've taken on
this new philosophy in my life, which is to just say.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yes, you're right.
Speaker 7 (05:59):
I think what you see it was your you know,
your philosophy was I simply.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
Must I simply or I simply must right. So it's
pretty excited. I don't know where we're going in or
the secret location. To be honest with you, I quietly
fancy myself in this.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Did you at least put a good word in for me?
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Like I asked. I came to you asking for you
to get me on there, not to put yourself for it.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Right.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
No, you didn't really come up keysy, but got pretty
involved pretty quickly once they knew I was interested as
I see it, as I say, and genuinely they're a
bit intimidated about asking me because they used to bag
the show.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yes, but now they're like, oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Boy, sweep, you got the guy from Broken Wood on.
Speaker 6 (06:42):
And they've even sort of given me a signing on
fee they didn't usually do for all the other contestants,
which doesn't go to charity.
Speaker 7 (06:49):
Yeah, so what do you think you'll be best at
the physical challenges.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
The mental challenges? I'm good with a puzzle.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
I'm just gonna have figure a way of getting a
vape out.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Well.
Speaker 7 (07:02):
I think the only thing you're going to have to
hope is that your wife doesn't turn out, because if
if she does, she's going to kick the shit out
of you.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
And scrabble can hide your vape up your massive honker.
You can hide one for everyone. Congrats, man, that's really exciting.
Fas man, Oh my goodness. A scrabble reference. At this
time last year, Jason was playing his wife at scrabble
all the time and losing constantly.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I would also say that the honker jokes would tell
you what time it is, but they've never really gone away, No,
they have it.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
They've been around for four years now. It is true
though he could hide enough vape up there for everyone
on CTI coming back, by the way, that show.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Really that's coming back. And now's your chance, brother, now's
my chance.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Everyone jump on TV and Z's Instagram and just punish
them saying they want Kezy, Moggi and Hoidy j on.
There is this Metallica, Yeah, Baby King nothing God this
Jim rules. You're on the hill Ackty Big Show, The.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Hurd Achy Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy. Tune
in week days at four on Radio hod Ach.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Verb on the Huducky Big Show. Bit a Sweet Symphony
twenty eight minutes past four this Tuesday afternoon with Kezy
and Pugs. The Daily Goat, red Ley CAZy on Pug
Good Stuff, Pugs Brand New, sting there, Dave Bud for
the first time. Pretty intense to be my feedback.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Hey, put it this way, man, when the cats away,
the Pug comes out to play.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Right, Okay, we've been holding you back all this time.
Don't forget The Goat countdown starts on Monday. Have your
say by texting the word Goat to three four eight three.
We'll send you a lenk. You can vote there. Stop
texting goat and then the name of the song you
want to nominate. Just text the word gate goat gate Now,
I don't even care you well, text the word gate,
(08:47):
text whatever you want three four eight three vote there.
It closes Sunday nights and the countdown starts nine am
on Monday morning, this coming August seventeenth. Now today's Goats
countdown head to head Pugs is greatest ever workout songs.
It's right, Casy.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
I wanted to just do some sort of informal ones
that these aren't necessarily your greatest of all time above everything.
It's just for a specific situation, And in this case,
it's working out. What kind of work because I feel
like this comes into it. What kind of workout? Do
you feel like you do the most?
Speaker 3 (09:17):
When I do work out, which I haven't in a
long time, it was mostly running. And when I run,
I listen to podcasts because I listen to people talk
and it takes my mind off of the painime experience.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
See.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
My issue with that is that I would hear myself
breathing every time they took a pause and talking. Oh right,
I can't hear my asthma. Yeah, Okay, you know what
I mean? That would really put me off.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah, I can see what you're saying there. But if
I listen to music, I do this thing where I
start matching the tempo of my run to the music
and it really puts me off for some reason. Yeah,
we've had heaps of great suggestions coming through on three four,
eight three, every single one of them in the draw
for a fifty dol Reburger voucher. We've got a couple
of suggestions there, Pugs, Yes we do so.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Both Nick and Lewis havev text and on three for
three in the draw for the vouchers. With this, I
have a tiger. It's a classic, isn't it. It is a classic.
It's a little old to get me hyped up. Yeah,
it doesn't mean that it's not good.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
The thing the reason why this is so synonymous working out,
of course, is Rocky One.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
He's literally working out to this song. So I think,
to be.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Honest, if you had to pick a great step of
workout song, this would probably be top five.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
It would be up there, especially if you're doing boxing training.
We had another one as well, Lincoln Park bleed it
out going Away. Now that one there from Edward Scott.
But what's interesting is that he said, I haven't done
a workout to it yet.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
No, I mean I like the message there Chester saying
dig it deeper, like you know, dig in. You've got
to really dig in when you're in the trenches of
working out there. However, it's too angry for me. I'm
not an angry worker out of it. I need that
you need to be angry.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Yeah, I think because I'm trying to get into more running,
but I do mostly weight stuff and so you've got
to be like a little bit psycho. Yeah, if that
helps get the blood pumping. We had a couple more.
Zoe from Springfield said, pump it up a fireball. Now,
pump it up could be the Joe Budden, Elvis Costello
or the Black Eyed pe something. They're sure what is
quite a somebody said mac Gordon underrated, massively underrated, did
(11:12):
the Doom soundtrack?
Speaker 3 (11:13):
The only thing they fear is you that specific song. However,
it's a sign for me and Pugs to put our
selections for through Pugs. You go first, man, what's your
goat workouts? So is my goat workout song? I feel
like it applies to any kind of workout.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
A little bit of rage. This is Balls on Parade
by Rage against the Machine, my goat workout song.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Kind of a long intro, so.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
It's good though, any Rage against the Machine song is
a good workout song.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
I agree. I just feel like that one really encapulates
and capulates and lates everything that that I go for
on a workout. So that's my goat workout song, Rage
against the Machine, Balls on Parade.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
My goat song is this, Ah yeah, the transplants, diamonds
and guns. You're outside, You've tied up your shoelaces, you
put your headphones on and your start jugg head.
Speaker 8 (12:11):
Who Yeah's it on like a C four N or
something like that.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
It's on a Gardia fructus that's from fifteen years ago.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
But you have your say in New Zealand, what do
you think? Three four eight three text?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Which of those two songs do you think is a
better selection for goat workout songs? How else can they vote?
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Pugs, I'll get up a poll on the Instagram at
Hodarky Big Show. Get there and vote, and in the meantime,
heavy listen to both. See which one gets you more
hoped up.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Hdarky Can't get me Buddy of Beer The Big Show
bea Vana support brew crew content have it a beerh.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
The Big Show heading down to Wellington for Beer Vanna,
one of New Zealand's biggest and best beer festivals. It's
happening Friday the twenty first and Saturday the twenty second
of August at Henry Stadium. You can get your tickets
Bavana dot co, dot z. However, on the Thursday night
we're doing a live show, the entire radio show down
there at Bethel Woods, which is a great bar right
in the center of Wellington Town. And whoever wins this
(13:15):
prize can not only bring a mate, but also gets
free flights, free accommodation and will be part of the crew,
part of the team for that Thursday night show as well.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
It's a hell of a prize. The pugs aren't now,
you've been saying. Obviously, it's more of a chance for
them to hang out and drink some beers. You even
consulting me on that, because I'd like to think that
I'm the support crew a lot of the time for
these feelers, right, so I reckon I can put them
to work. You actually want to get them jobs? Yeah? Okay,
all right, well let's go to the lines then.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Get ness. How you going, mate, pugs?
Speaker 4 (13:46):
How are you today? Nesty or g men?
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:48):
All good?
Speaker 9 (13:49):
Just finishing up the work?
Speaker 4 (13:50):
Oh nice man? What do you do for a crust?
Speaker 9 (13:53):
I'm a gardener, a small garden.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Oh nice garden? Is that therapeutic work in us?
Speaker 9 (14:00):
It's as boring as it as stressful when you're self employed.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Perfect.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
One thing and as you're going to have to be
wary of, mate, is your posture if you've been over
in the garden all day?
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:10):
You know, I have to say when I was over
in Vietnam. A lot of folks that have been out
in the garden a lot of the time posture munted. Yeah,
So get you back and down here you sweet sir.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
And this has got a hunchback? And is who would
you bring with you if you won this prize?
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Mate?
Speaker 9 (14:25):
I got a mate down in close ups, will probably
bring him up.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
All right, go a little beerfial with your mate, all right,
and us you're in the drawer, mate, You hold the
line all right, jeer, thanks you'autiful. Let's also go to Joseph.
Good Joseph, how.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Are you going?
Speaker 9 (14:40):
Bloody good? How you doing today?
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:42):
Not too bad mate. What have you been up to today?
Speaker 9 (14:44):
Man?
Speaker 6 (14:44):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (14:45):
Just you know, working away like the backbone, you know,
keeping trying to keep up the Pugs's high standards.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Yeah, honestly, thanks the attitude I'm talking about right there. Yeah,
I see.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
So he's going for the gas up Pugs myth.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Maybe that'll work. He's up the boss to be honest.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Pug has said he is going to put whoever wins
this prize to work in terms of helping us. You've
got a good work ethically, of Joseph, I think so.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
I like that the longest pause, but I like the honesty.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
The thing is no one I Hodaki is a good
work ethic, So, Joseph, I think you'll fit in man,
because you thought about being truthful and then you lied anyway.
But if you did win this prize, Joseph, hear'd you
bring I would have to.
Speaker 9 (15:22):
Bring my wife only because we did a mystery tasting
beer night the other night.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah, and she won. Oh wow wow, And bring her on.
Speaker 9 (15:31):
You know it'll be dog box for two reasons. One,
you know, she's an enthusiast.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah, of course, what if she can name beers better
than you can. It's almost like she should be down
there and you've got a question mark above you.
Speaker 9 (15:44):
Well that sounds about right. I'm a very questionable individual.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
So okay, just going to write questionable individual next to
Joseph's name. Are you still on the drawer though, mate?
So you hold the line all right? Awesome mate, Another
chance to get yourself in the draw maybe later on
the show. So I'm just going back to the tunes.
It is the cult Edie Show. Baby, You're on the
Hurducky Big Show, Keys and pugsh.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hoda.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Talking here.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
It's on the Huducky Big Show. It is almost five
o'clock with Keysy and pugs An this Tuesday evening. So
it's quickly do a little TV chess what so on
the Turney with Mike Minogue. Yeah, uh, Nogi's not here.
The Full Shell be back Monday. By the way, if
(16:31):
you're wondering last night, Pegs, I continued watching Outrageous Fortune
season one with my wife. We've never watched it before.
Every single episode is available on TV and Z plus,
and I cannot understand how such an excellent show was
completely missed by both me and my wife.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
It is seriously brilliant.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
It's making us like I'm cracking up, laughing, predicting what's
gonna happen. All the characters are intertwined, even though it's
like Game of Thrones, but the Bogan version and funny.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
I would say, like, you don't mean that it's underrated,
because it is considered one of the great Yeah, it's
you just can't believe that I specifically missed it.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
That's right, Well I didn't miss it. Everyone's banging on
about it, and I guess at the time I was like, ah, nah.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
I know that thing where so many people tell you
to watch something and it kind of puts you off it. Well,
do you know, do you ever get that? It's like
almost a rebellious thing. It's like, yeah, right, okay, nah abes,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
I wasn't put off it by that.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
I was put off by the fact that I was
in UNI at the time and just watching reruns of
the same old shit I've been watching for years.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
What no A lot.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
I used to love top Gear a lot of a
lot of your Scrubs, a lot of How I Met
Your Mother, and just sitcoms and ship from back in
the day my.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Whole flat would watch together.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Yeah, Walking Dead, But honestly, every single episode on TVs
in Plus, if you haven't seen it, please go and
watch it. If you have seen it, go watch it
again because it is still so good. Four and a
half busies out of five.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
I have also seen it, and I would agree that
it's four and a half busies out of five. That
is md TV royalty. Now I've been getting back into
a show that I've watched before, but I'm putting my
partner onto it right, and it's not one that she
would ever ever have gone for, but she's loving it.
Speaker 7 (18:13):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (18:13):
It's The Boys. I've never watched it on Prime. It's
got a couple of great key actors in an Anthony
Star and of course our mate Carl.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Lubin Anthony Star, who is in Outrageous Fortune.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
That's right, So now you know in Outrageous Fortune and
how he plays two people, yes, that is reflected in
The Boys because he is a total psycho. Yeah, like
he's nuts, and so watching him flip between personalities and
attitudes from somebody who presents themselves as the all American
good boy. Yeah on the Boys, and then who he
really is is unbelievable, a total stark contrast.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
I can't see it like he This show is as
twenty years old now, the one I'm talking about, and
he is so good at playing both characters.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
At first I was like, Aha, it's creepy.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
He's really good. Yeah, it is creepy.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
Yeah, it's a testament. And watching them by come together
in one character and The Boys is great. Basically The
Boys is subverting the whole superhero trope, putting it on
its head and how what the writers actually think the
superhero life would go if it were real. So this corruption,
this capitalism, all of that stuff. Very well done. I
would give it a good three and a half busies
(19:19):
out of a possible five. At the moment, I'm on
season two. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Nice, that's on Watch Prime, is it?
Speaker 4 (19:23):
That's it? Bloody Rapper coming up after five.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
More best of the Big Show moments plus your chance
to win a fifty dollar Reburg about.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
You The Hdiching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodiching that's right.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
It is the Hurdichy Big Show for Tuesday of the
eleventh of August twenty twenty six. You're with Keezy and
pugsn Hoodie Jam Mogia, both on holiday. They will be
back on the Monday. In the meantime though, we've got
plenty of best of the Big Show moments, and of
course the Big Show and whatever form it is in
is brought to you by Reburg Year.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Seven Good Times and good food dining or take away
read Big Bed Today. Big Mogi says that one's too long. Yeah,
I don't think it is, man, I don't think it's
long enough.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Moggi's too long in the nose. Suck on there, so
you can expect this boom. Hey, plenty of stuff coming
up this hour, including Pugs. You put a group a
message in the group chat, yeah, saying that someone called
you a sea word over the weekend or something.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Is that right? Nah? I just won't want to. I
want to pose you the question, am I a sea bomb?
And then I'll explain right how it got to me
being called a sea bomb?
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Are you a sea bomb? Like in everyday life or
in this particular situation, in.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
This particular situation. Okay, I mean, like, hey, if you
want to get into me being a sea bomb in
my whole life, we can do that too.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
We don't have enough time, man, it's just so much
to get through. Actually, what we'll do, though, is we'll
get the audience to get involved. On three four eight
three every text in the draw for a Reburg about you,
and then that way they'll definitely say, yes, you are
a mess with see maybe hear me out on the
n I.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Just started now. Is Pugs a seaweed?
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Yeah, No, that'd be every text.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
In the door for Rebiger, which is bloody great coming
up next to a best of the Big Show moment Pugs.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
That's right, And this is a gig that Hoody j
got you remember when he was your agent? Yeah, this
is arguably one of the best ones we've ever done.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Oh wow, I can't remember what that is, all right,
I'm excited.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
It involves a certain very famous children's animated movie franchise. Wow,
I still don't know. Great, that's amazing, makes it better.
My brain is shocking.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Was this whole the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike
and Kezy tune in.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
On radio Icky Thump, Yeah, Man White Stripes, Hiducky Big
Show Tuesday Evening with Keyzy and Pugs on Full Show
back on Monday.
Speaker 6 (21:46):
Now.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Another Big Show best of moment, This one from twenty
twenty four, back when Hoody J was your agent. Yeah,
good time you mess those days. It's gonna be so
many gigs, Pugs. Yeah, Well a lot of auditions. Auditions apparently,
say you got you the actual get he got me
zero gigs? You got your zero gigs? Well, this was
arguably your biggest opportunity, right, Okay, he brought you an
(22:08):
audition for the Toy Story franchise. Oh my god, No,
why do you say that so negatively?
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Man?
Speaker 6 (22:15):
Come on, man, great opportunity for you, Keezy, I've managed
to get you an audition for a part on what
has been one of the most successful successful movie franchises ever.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Feels you're joking joking for eels.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
What's the what is it like a new version of
it or something?
Speaker 6 (22:34):
It's yeah, the latest in storment of Toy Story.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
Toy Story.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
They just announced that at Disney.
Speaker 6 (22:40):
They did Yeah, so number five I believe it is Mogi.
So they're casting around for new voices. Obviously going to
have your standy characters there. Core Cast, yes, core Cast,
your woodies, your buzzes. Oh man, that's so cool. Yea
head Barbie Ken remember remember Barbie and Ken.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
As well? Yeah? Cool? Right?
Speaker 4 (23:03):
So what am I playing? A toy?
Speaker 2 (23:05):
I'm assuming well, obviously easy, it's toy story.
Speaker 6 (23:10):
So what we're going to do is sort of get
an idea of what voice you're going to use, because
I think that's obviously well, it's.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Got to be a he's kind of a goofy.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
What's the toys name? Buddy, Buddy? Yeah, study boy guys. Yeah, Buddy, Yeah, yeah, buddy.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
Kind of like yeah, that's pretty good.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Extra nasally quite.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
Daisily Extra dais a toy ty story fights and they
you think that's what they.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
Want, Well, that's good. They want people to be innovative
and and just bring what they do.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
You don't want a normal voice, So that's great to me.
But that to me, it sounds like a character, right
it does.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Yeah, true, it's a toy after all, and you.
Speaker 6 (23:54):
Know, obviously it's an animation. So I'll show you some
picks later on that they've sent me through. But did
you get that cryptos?
Speaker 4 (24:00):
Yep, I've got it here. Great, Oh wow, it's with
Woody and buzz.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah. Do you want to be buzz.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Maybe I'll be Woody and beyond so cool, man, I
love this friend. Yeah, all right, hang on. What I'll
do is I'll get the toy story. Okay, put you.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
In the mood, doesn't it?
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Absolutely Okay?
Speaker 6 (24:22):
Here we go interior and these parents' house day. The
toys have found their new friend Butty, and are trying
to pull them out of a sticky situation.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Come on, buddy, you can do this.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
I'm trying, but I just can't get out.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Just relaxt buddy, jeez, you're just making this harder. I
can't relax.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
It's so dark in here. How on earth am I
supposed to relax?
Speaker 2 (24:49):
All right, everyone, grab a hole on my count one two?
Speaker 3 (24:59):
A ah, thanks guys. It's so great having friends like you.
Speaker 7 (25:06):
No worries, buddy, We're all toys at the end of
the day, right, insane that I liked that.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
It was fun, That was pretty.
Speaker 6 (25:17):
You did a good job there, actually keasy. Yeah, okay,
you had a bit of umph in your character as well. Yeah, yeah,
it's good.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
That was good.
Speaker 7 (25:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
So that might be the thing, man, It might be
a character acting things more up your alley.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Right, as opposed to just really I'd like to have
a crack at both have another the sure, if you
want to have another go.
Speaker 7 (25:37):
To yeah, I think, and we'll just want to clip
it along a bit bit more energy, clip along through it.
I do the big print of that's right with you, Jase?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Sure? Okay, here we go, You ready, yeah?
Speaker 7 (25:45):
Man?
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Here we go? All right? Interior Andy his parents' bedroom Day.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
The toys have found their new friend Buddy, and is
trying to pull him out of a sticky situation.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Come on, buddy, you can.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Do this shry, but I can't get out.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
That's right, buddy, geez, you're just making this hard. Relax.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
It's so dark in here here on earth?
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Am I supposed to relax? All right? Everyone, grab a
hold on my count one.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
Two day ah ah, thanks guys. It's so great having
friends like you.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
No worries, buddy, boy, We're all toys at the end
of the.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Day, right, I feel like I am actually buddy. You know,
batty butty, Buddy, batty batty? What kind of a toy
is Buddy?
Speaker 2 (26:35):
I don't know? Season the script here he lives in
Andy's mum's bottom drawer.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
I don't recall that character ever being in the latest movie,
so I guess they dropped it. I think that one
from the franchise was usually at the back of the
DVD store, hanging at the back of the DVD st hanging.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
A reminder every single show we have ever done. It's available.
Where ever get your podcasts from. Just search Hoducky Big Show.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
They're all there.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Temple of the Dog.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Yeah, maybe the Hierarchy Big Show week days from four
on Radio Hoda Kings Leon.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
On The Hidarky Big Show twenty five past five this
Tuesday evening with Keezy and Pugs. At the beginning of
this hour, Pugs asked the question is he a sea word?
We put it out to the audience on three four
eight three Pugs will be stoked to know, man, most
of the sex get most of Yeah, most of the
ones coming in saying that Pugs.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Is a GC basically not just a C. You're a GC.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
You're a fully six cy a funny C. Yeah, so
people are really getting around you. I mean there's obviously
the odd one there there will say yeah, massive C.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
I think my issue in this particular scenario because it
didn't just come out of nowhere. I think that came
from me thinking that I'm a funny sea bomb.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Okay, so this so four context for the audience. Something
happened to you over the weekend, and you're unsure whether
you are a sea bomb afterwards, that's right.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
So essentially, I got invited to a friend's twenty ninth
birthday party and it was a lovely time. It was
that they're flat, so it was like a bit of
a house party scenario. People sort of sprinkled around the place.
You catch up with different grips as you go through.
Blah blah blah. Yeah, no, how party works, you know, yeah,
bud party man, do a couple of party. Yeah, guilty, guilty.
(28:16):
And I was meeting new people and ninety nine point
nine percent of them got on. Was like a house
on fire, and at the time one hundred percent. Now
I was in the kitchen area of seid party, and
what I learned was that somebody had cooked up a
big of popcorn and I was like, give me it
on that I got to get in on this popcorn
(28:36):
right now. And so I was helping myself that I
was like, I can't believe you brought this from home.
To the person who I admit earlier in the night
and was lovely, and I was in the popcorning, in
the popcorn. And then later on I said, so, what
I do you bring popcorn to sort of every shindy
that you go to. They go, no, I took it
out of the I took it out of the pantry, right,
So they had taken it out of the host pantry
at the flat party. Right now, I've been enjoying the popcorn.
(28:59):
So I was complicit in the crime. And at the
end of the day it was a one dollar thing
of popcorn.
Speaker 8 (29:04):
Yeah, but I thought, maybe I'll be a funny sea
bomb if I just give them a little bit of
you know, a little bit of jeff about taking popcorn
from the pantry, right, And I was sort of went
along the lines of, oh man, ah, yeah, you should
see how these flat how these flatmates go when someone
takes something from the pantry.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
There's like a history of it that it starts a
real kerfuffle in the group. Right, I'm kind of like
doing a bit.
Speaker 9 (29:26):
Right.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
It was, you know what, in hindsight, you're playing silly
buggers past.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
I was playing silly buggers, but I was having a
real fun time with it. But also I was continuing
to eat the popcorn, so I thought it was pretty
clear that you were joking. You wouldn't say this and
eat the popcorn, That's right, I would not be participating
in the crime, right. So I went along with this,
but for a little while longer.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
And then.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
This person's friend approach, who wasn't a part of the conversation.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
So this person being the popcorn stealer, this.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Person being the popcorn stealer and offerer. Okay, now that
person's thing comes over. I say, oh, do you want
some popcorn?
Speaker 7 (30:01):
Da?
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Da da da?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
And I was like, oh yeah, this person bluddy took
it from the bloody pantrick. Can you believe that? And
this person who took the popcorn turns to me and goes,
you're being a real sea bomb about this. Oh wow,
I use the actual word. Yeah, okay, fair enough. Now
in my head, I was like, immediately I recoiled because
I felt terrible that I would ever make somebody feel
bad about stealing a one dollar bag of popcorn from
(30:24):
the flat. But also I was being a wind up
and I know that.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Right, Okay, it sounds to about this person massively overreacted.
Although you might not have been as clever about, you know,
being blatant as you.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
My betsun is clever when I mum, yeah, responsibly you
were esteem at the house party.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
That's right, Yeah, I Pugs clean conscience, man, clean conscience, misunderstanding.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
I did talk to the friend about it, and because
then later on in the night I bumped into the
popcorn stealer again, and you're the kind of person who
would have to be like, hey, I'm so sorry and
make sure it was all it's one hundred percent what happened.
Speaker 7 (30:56):
I went.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
I was like, hey, listen, I'm really sorry. I didn't
I didn't mean to get off on the wrong foot
with that was joking. Obviously it's a turn bag of
popcorn iss Yeah, a big a deal ignored me. Wow,
turned away.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
I believe that person is a sea bomb.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hod.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Chemical Brothers on The Hidarky Big Show Tuesday evening with
Kezy and pugsn T. I'me front of the best of
the Big Show moment.
Speaker 4 (31:18):
That's right, Kesey, I'm diving into the archives from August past, right,
So this time the last couple of years, right, And
this next best bit is from twenty twenty four and
it's about old Moggi and Moggi Minogi junior his daughter.
His daughter is five round about five and let's just
say massive overachiever.
Speaker 7 (31:37):
So my daughter has started at primary school now, which
is the first school. There's primary and then there's secondary Keezy,
and then there's tertiary.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
The intermediate between them.
Speaker 7 (31:49):
Well, I go to a primary school, went all the
way through and then yeah, so that's just you can
also have intermediate intermediate, but you know that's oftentimes you'll
find that's for deer.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Brains and to meet it.
Speaker 7 (32:07):
Anyway, as part of being at the school there all
the kids have to do write their own poem and
recite it to the class, which I thought was pretty
full on actually for a five year old to have
to do that. And anyway, so we sort of I
said to her, you know, you want to hand with it, Nana.
I'm all good right, Oh god, Jezun scream at me. Anyway,
(32:31):
I went into class and it must have been the
day after. I try not to say abreast of what's
happening at the school. I find it all it can
be a bit dull. But anyway, the teacher's pulled me
aside and she said, your daughter's done a poem.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
I was like, it ended already.
Speaker 7 (32:45):
Yeah, everybody in the classroom had them in absolute tears.
Such was the beauty of the pros there. Yeah, so
it seems like she's a bit of a chip off
the old block there.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
Really yeah, yeah, yeah, all the kids were crying their
eyes out, the teachers and that all crying.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
From one poem.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Yeah, and how old is your daughters? Still five? Yeah? Yeah,
it's funny.
Speaker 6 (33:12):
Actually, I think I mentioned this a little while actually,
actually Mogi my daughter in English, and well, to be fair,
she was in the third form at the time, so
she's quite a few years ahead of you, like twelve. Yeah,
and to meet it at that stage at school and
(33:32):
she wrote a piece and I got a phone call
from the from the teacher on my private line. I
don't know how she got my private number, and oh,
that's right, we're having an affair. And she said, Jace,
your daughter's just written the most beautiful short story I've
(33:55):
ever read in my life.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
And she was she taught engl you know, so she
she was a big reader. Bit of a book worm.
Oh yeah, yeah, the English teacher.
Speaker 6 (34:04):
And she said, do you mind if I sent her
off to a couple of publishers because it's that good?
Speaker 2 (34:10):
And I said, oh, oh, you know, fill your boots.
Then aready commissioned?
Speaker 6 (34:17):
She was commissioned to write a book of short stories,
which currently I think over in the States is number.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Four and the best Sellerers, is it right?
Speaker 7 (34:25):
Yeah, it's funny, isn't it, because I find short stories
just turgid.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah, but HER's hand.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
One of my favorite things we do on The Big
Show is if someone says a word incorrectly, repeating it.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
Later, it's fantastic. It's so great.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Every other broadcast, every other radio show, or every other
TV show or whatever, they always just try and correct
it and move on.
Speaker 4 (34:47):
But we really get bogged.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
Down in it.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
I'll tell you what. Listening to that show in particular
to find that best but it was an absolute shocker
for you. I don't know if you were like Mosty
or something, yet you in particular in the first one, boom,
like maybe three break later.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
Boom another one in this one, Oh my goodness, what
date was that?
Speaker 4 (35:03):
I can't remember the exact day, but it was around
either the eleventh or twelfth of August.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
I'm just checking here the tenth, okay, so it was
the twelfth. On the eleventh, the Dolphins played the Warriors,
and it says I was at the pub for that.
So that'll be fine.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
That sounds a bad right, Isn't that interesting?
Speaker 3 (35:19):
I can go back on my calendar. Yep, I was hungover.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
That was like incredibly fast, one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
There it is right there. August twenty twenty four.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
You're amazing, Pluto dance Stamina.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
You're on the Hidaky Bio Show, Kuzy and.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Pugs, The Hdiking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodiarchy.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
Breed from Nirvana on The Hidiarchy Big Show Tuesday Evening
with Keezy and pugsun full show back on Dick Monday.
That song from the Vanna by the way Themseluck Belter
Breed and that was one of Mogi's three Goat selections.
The Goat Countdown returns this coming Monday.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
Have your say.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Text the word goat to three four eight three and
choose your three Goat nominations. Pugs Beer Varner. It is
a beer Fear still happening down to Wellington and we're
doing our next live show.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
It's been a while, it has been too bloody long. Yeah,
and I know that because I've been quite relaxed yees
around the office in the workload that I have, because
a lot of the time, you know, you get into
doing a show, it becomes a routine day to day,
You've got things to check off and then suddenly, boom,
you've been a live show. It's a whole nother layer.
I'm trying to.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Think of what our last one was. Was it a
Daneedan or christ Church or something. It's been so long
I can't even remember. Which is crazy.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
It might have been christ It went off it South,
I'm aware of that.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Yeah, it was in the South. Cheese roll in the mouth.
So we're going to Wellington, which is great. We've only
been to Wellington once before and at a pub, so
this is the first time, the first time in ages
that we've actually been to a Wellington pub. It is
happening at Bethel Woods, which is in town. It's all
thanks to to Atata, who are one of the beer
of exhibits that are going down and of course the
first one hundred people through the door at Bethel Woods
(36:55):
Thursday the twentieth of August. You get yourself a free
backbone tea. Is there any thing when it comes to
the checklist for you Pugs, Yeah, hit of a live show,
because I know that famously. The night before you won't sleep,
you'll get up super early for the flight, you'll be
a frazzled miss and then you'll get steamed afterwards.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
And that's all part of the process. I have to
punish myself in order to be rewarded, right, But also
because it's in Wellington, that's my hometown, so it's like
another another layer on Yeah.
Speaker 8 (37:23):
True.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
So obviously for the listeners when it comes to taking
a live radio show on the road, I'm always quite
surprised nowadays by the lack of stuff you actually need.
You need three microphones, maybe four if we're anticipating a guest, yeah,
and then like a little cube thing that broadcasts at all,
and that's pretty much it.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
That is pretty much it. I mean, obviously you have
the whole speaker element. So I think we're one of
the one of the prime radio shows when it comes
to doing live shows as frequently as we do, so
we've got a system for that now, and we've also
got thankfully a little bit more resource in terms of
getting professional then to help with the speakers. Everything started
doing it, I would be sitting up every single thing.
(38:04):
I still remember, yeah, whereas now I've like, okay, I'll
bring somebody in for it.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
I still remember too, Like the very first time we
did a live show was in Tartanaki about at the
start of our show before your Time, and we set
it all up and we were like, we're are the
live speakers and they were like, oh, you don't usually
have those we do a live show, you just are
sort of in the corner and no one can hear anything. Yes,
So we went down to we sent the local team
down to the higher place. They hired a couple of speakers,
sit it all up, went off awesomely. We were like,
(38:29):
this is why are we not doing this more?
Speaker 4 (38:30):
It's a way to do it.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Way to do that is the way to do it.
It's bloody awesome vibe as well. The place will be
packed out with fellow backbones all wearing the free T shirts.
So if you are a listener and you are keen
to come get a monkst Thursday, the twentieth of August
from four pm at Bethel Woods. Get there a little
bit early, I'd suggest if you want to get yourself
a table and get ready to rip and and also
if you'd like to go to be a Vanner the
Wellington Celebration of Delicious beer Head to be at Vaner
(38:54):
dot Co dot in zid we will see you there.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in week
days at four on Radio Hodaki.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
It is the Hurdcky Big Show Tuesday evening with Kezi
and Pugs filling in while Jason mic are on holiday.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
They are back Monday Full.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Show, Back in Action, Can't Wait, Plus the Goat Countdown
kicks off as well. Of course The Big Show No
matter what iteration, is brought to you by Reburger.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
Beef checking vegan and vegetarian options, Reburger redefining the norm.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
Yummy.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
It is yummy.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
I had it twice last week, both while hungover. Pugs,
what is the plan for Dinns tonight for you?
Speaker 4 (39:33):
I'm actually catching up with a mate from UNI and
we're going to be going somewhere in the city. I'm
looking for cheap Asian food.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
That's the plan, honestly, and if a lot of people
from Auckland, especially in my friend group, they never actually
go into the Auckland CBD. So like the christ Church
CBD is great, there's a lot going on. You got
to a riverside market Wellington. You know, it's a bit
quieter than it used to be. But I found myself
going to town a lot when I'm there. I never
go into the city scene of Aalkland because I always
think it's way too packed. You know, it's hard to
(40:03):
get a park, blah blah blah. I've been walking through
there a lot recently. The food options are incredible, Yeah,
there is that.
Speaker 4 (40:10):
I I myself and from Mount Eden and so it's
really had to stray from Mount Eden because the Dominut
doing your road, the Dominion Roague Cuisine, yes, but then
everything is like its own individual store. There's a lot
of that in the CBD as well.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
I would honestly recommend not finding a place on Google
meet somewhere and go for a.
Speaker 4 (40:25):
Walk, Go for a walk and go for vine.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
Yeah, because and like if you hit to like High
Street and start there's some great stuff around the parks.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
That's what I do Kean, what are you gonna have
for tea?
Speaker 9 (40:33):
Men?
Speaker 3 (40:33):
I at ten am this morning was slow cooking a
little a little pork shoulder for pulled pork tacos that
we're having to Not going to be pulling your pork
all night, now, that'll be afterwards. Oh you've been doing
it all day? You no, no, no, The pork's there
and then you pull it out, and then you pull
it apart, and then you make the tacos out of it?
Speaker 5 (40:50):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (40:51):
And do you do that or does your wife help
you pull the pork.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
She'll probably do that okay, just because she's better at it,
and then I will be the one putting it into
the tark.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
What are you? What do you have for? What?
Speaker 3 (41:04):

and mowgi, you'll get this. We just figured we could
sort of, I don't know, introduced you to some of
the crazy stuff they have over in Europe.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
Cool. Now, you're not going to get any of this,
but sure, but when you finally get there, it all
makes it. Yeah yeah, old man.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
Yeah, So like it's interesting because a lot of stuff
is very different, but a lot is quite similar.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
That's true.
Speaker 6 (42:34):
So for example, we get a lot, you know, we
get a lot of our ideas from old Europe, don't we.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
Yeah yeah, just like us, yeah, but way better.
Speaker 5 (42:44):

is gaspacho.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
Oh my god, I love a tomato and vegetable soup
sort of thing.
Speaker 7 (43:24):
Yeah, but it's chilled because it's so hot over the
you know, the temperatures are sort of medt to late
late thirty sort of thing.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
But in New Zealand that's called tomato sauce. What's what
what's it called over there? Gaspacho spatio? You know, like.
Speaker 4 (43:42):

beg its forget A beg it, I beg it, yeah,
not a beget. Don't say beget you'll get smacked. It's
a bag it, ye bag it.
Speaker 9 (44:07):

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Yeah, it's similar, but just different. And that's like a
loaf of bread.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
It's like a loaf of mollenberg.
Speaker 7 (44:14):
Another thing that they have over there that they don't
have here, well they do, it's kind of different.
Speaker 2 (44:20):
It's just yea yea yeah, pie, yea want too many? Yeah,
yea yea yeah. Yeah, you know you can work on
up before you get there. But that's a rice dish.

a Spanish hanging.
Speaker 5 (44:38):
Hey what chicken m seafood can be yeah, yeah, yea.
You know how over here we have like biscuits in there, yes,
but yes, what kind of like chocky biscuits or just biscuits.

pretty much the same thing, right, okay, just caught.
Speaker 5 (45:01):
Yeah, like your shrewsbreese, yeah ye and your squiggles, your squiggles,
toffee pops no, what do they call it?
Speaker 2 (45:11):
Nope? Pops?
Speaker 4 (45:12):
What that's no best Scott. That's something that someone has
never been to Europe might suggest.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
Over there they have saying Gria saying Grea. Yeah. Yeah,
it's like red wine. It's like a red winy sort
of a drink sort of thing. Yeah. In New Zealand,
it's called a goon bag. You heard of that goon bag?

pedal pop or a pop. Over there they call them gelato.
Speaker 6 (46:13):

Meat is yes, a big old flagging of mead, very
Viking like mere medieval times. Hey, forget what you think
you know about mead. Big Mountain Mead are given this
ancient drink a proper key we make over. I'm going
to try some of them.
Speaker 4 (47:48):
I've always wanted to try me They make it look
so delicious in the movies.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
And that's the thing is, I always knew it was
made with honey, and so this is what it says here,
made with Manuka honey and packed with flavor. These Kodey
legends are creating meads that are smooth, refreshing and seriously
easy to get stuck into.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
I wonder if that's quite a sweet beverage. I imagine so.
And I think back to like medieval representation of meat
and like the movies like Lord of the Rings and
stuff like that, and the God War Games and stuff
the way they have like the.
Speaker 3 (48:16):
Wooden wooden and they can clank them together somehow make
it sound delicious. Yeah, I'll be very keen to try
some Big Mountain mead. Whether you're a mead veteran you've
never tried the stuff before, these guys are worth a stop, sweet, sparkling,
full of character, big mountain meat of bringing a cracking
alternative drop to be Avu in twenty twenty six.

but I've never heard or no anyone that drinks mead.
And the fact that there is Big Mountain mead making
the stuff very intriguing.
Speaker 4 (48:51):

a big thing of mead and then a Connie machine
in the bathroom next to the deoterant machine. It's like
dream night.

out some of the best moments from those, I've kind
of put them together in a bit of a mixed
bag clip clip clip from different different podcasts.

and my wife came out at ten thirty and told
me to keep it down, ah, which is the first
time that's happened in years. And when I went to
bed later that night, it was about eleven o'clock. I
went she had fallen asleep with a pillow over her
head because I was giggling so much.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
So you're creating a real shock and sleeping scenario for it.
Speaker 3 (51:08):
Yeah, and I do feel bad. But if you and
your mates ever catch up online want a fun game
to play, Big Walk, highly recommend.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
