Speaker 1 (00:01):
The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
Tune in week days at four on radio holder.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Harry Am there on the hole Arky Big Show this
Monday evening. Let's give out some advice Fells.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
At gmail dot com in touch over there.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Just for context, Mogie gets a fright when.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
He j.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Sometimes I do sometimes?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Is that your little milky Milo there? Mogi?

Speaker 3 (00:36):
No interesting sorry about this. Jason is just talking to
a It's.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Actually a meadow Fresh, which is just a small two
hundred and fifty mil of milk, vanilla flavored, and Steven
Adams came in earlier and he's left us behind. He
signed it and he signed it for Jerry. Sign it
for Jerry, and I was instructed not to drink it,
but I'm tempted.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I don't you know what Jerry is still have the box?

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Well that's the important thing, surely.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Any who, Jerry, anyway, we're getting side checked by a
box of milk. Guys written in here. It's a really
good question. Meet Pattinepsexy nine at gmail dot com. And
because of this it's one hundred percent anonymous. He will
get a reburg about to which is pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Good a Fowlers. Here's my predicament. I live in Auckland,
number forty two year old bloke. I am back on
the dating scene after a recent amicable breakup, trying to find.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
New love break up with him, trying.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
To find love on two dating apps, Hinge and Bumble.
Sometimes women connect with me on these apps. I don't
decline about half.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Of them, so you accept half of them now.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Because I'm a nice person, I don't like to ghost people.
It seems wrong to cut the cord and cut off
the chat without really giving the person an opportunity to
show me how wonderful they might be in all seriousness.
And I'm not trying to big myself up. I have
too many connections. I've messages from about twelve women that
I'm supposed to respond to, and I don't want to
see over any of them and disappoint them. It's taking
up stupid amounts of times and making me and making
me glued to my phone. Right, of course, I'm only

(02:02):
going to find real connection with just one of these
twelve ladies statistically. So what should I do? How do
I let people down and determine which woman I should
concentrate on.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Thanks well, you spent a lot of time on the
Etsy Keasy. I've been in a relationship since the apps
came out, so I never got to.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I've never been on a dating app in my life.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
I really know how they work.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Well. I guess the difference is with me and him
is that I'm still with my wife.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
So you have to be particularly care about how you
frame things, and so letting down people is important because
you don't want them coming back and going, Okay, well
I'm going to throw you under the bus and tell
your wife what you're up.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
To, well exactly. But also, and i'd say, obviously in
my case, I've got a different name and stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Jeff, So Jef, I.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Would have thought you should have run with Tony.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
No, my name is Jeff.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Okay, So all I would say to anonymous here is
you're not letting anyone down. And everyone's used to it.
Everyone on the apps is used to the same ship.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Don't you just swipe and go now, do you, Jason? Well,
that's what I hear, swipe left or right or something? Yeah, right, okay,
what's not on either of those?

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Genuinely just say, like, don't overthink it. Everyone on the
apps is going through the same experience, and you're not
letting anyone down by ghosting people.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
I would just say, and this is this is dating
in the real world as well, Jase, Yes, you're better off.
You're better off giving them a fast no, that a
slow no. All of these ladies they're looking, well, they
might be looking for other things, but potentially assuming they're
probably looking for love. And so if you're going to
bugger them around, you're denying them an opportunity to get

(03:36):
on with their lives and find the person that is
right for them. So treat it as a public service.
Buggering them around is what you want to be avoiding,
So just be quick, get on with it, no harm,
no foul. They'll appreciate the promptness. I'm sure some of
them will be psychoso one hundred percent percent, not one

(03:56):
hundred percent of them, but there will be a percentage.
I mean, if you're dealing with twelve, at least one
is going to be an absolute nutbar. But the same
goes for men, and in fact, I would say less men,
there will be a higher percentage of psychos. I'm not
saying it's only woman here, I'm saying it's people.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
In general.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
Well, don't know, you see what I'm saying. Yeah, man,
what do you think, Jason? You think it's a higher
percentage of women, don't?

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yeah, you were saying, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
It's bitter and pied j'ly on Radio Hoaks.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Yes, that's right, MESSI backbones another two hundred and fifty
dollars cash cash cash to give away.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Dad's Pies proudly bake award winning prize. Damn it, jeez,
Dad's Pies proudly bakes award winning pies for pie loving
New Zealanders.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I've just got the memory of that. Yeah, it's just.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
No, I know, but I redid it. And if we
just pugs in the podcast. When you make the podcast
of the show, can you shorten it down so that the
mistakes not in there? Thanks?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Man, we're in that with about a ten minute show.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Well, if you did out all my mistakes, yes, hey,
fell forgiveaway two hundred.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Fifty bucks, can I Tommy your Ed Barton?

Speaker 3 (05:14):

Speaker 2 (05:18):

Speaker 2 (05:20):
What do you do for a crush?

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Tommy? I'm a panel beater?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Oh, yeah, I need a panel beater. My daughter did
the classic thing, mate of exiting our apartment and did
the big scrape along the door there.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Oh yeah, that'll catch you. Yeah, well with Tommy.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
To be honest, it's gone along the rear door there.
It's also gone along the back panel. There's a lot
of work that needs to be done there, mate.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Oh yeah, just just scrap it, just scrap it.

Speaker 2 (05:49):

Speaker 5 (05:49):
On the bright side, Tommy, you can charge this guy
out whatever you want and he'll pay he'll pay it.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Oh yeah, yeah, he's one of those. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
What am I looking at, Tommy?

Speaker 3 (06:02):
What am I looking at? Price wise? There?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Maybe five six ground? Yes, g.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Twenty grand pocket change man, how about this, Tommy, twenty
grand and make sure you just absolutely bog it up
all right?

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah yeah, yeah, on hey, Tommy, when you're having a
bit of a break, Yeah, some time for Tommy, as
I like Tommy.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Tommy, what a pie do you like to run with
the old muscle showder? Oh? Wow, flash guy?

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Pretty good. No, you're off your head.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Oh you gotta try it, mate, Union Union Road Bakery?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Is that the girl? Is it?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yes? Right?

Speaker 5 (06:50):
I don't know the thing for me though, is I
don't really trust his seafood. I need to know that
it's come straight out of the w as soon as
things have been frozen and anything like that.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yeah, it's a bit hitting. I haven't been sick yet, so.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, you get on your mate. Hey, Well, great news
for you, Tommy. You just won yourself two hundred and
fifty bucks.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Mate with it, Gladdy jail Ben touch mate and he'll
wire that twenty grand to you tonight.

Speaker 5 (07:13):

Speaker 3 (07:14):

Speaker 3 (07:27):

a wood winning cry.

Speaker 3 (07:36):

Speaker 1 (07:43):
The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy
tune in week days at four on Radio Holdarky Green Day.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
There on the Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday evening. The
time is five thirty six.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Fellas has been a bit of an issue around my
place in my neighborhood there and yeah, she's not a goodie.
Right outside my front door a few days ago we
had a sinkhole a pre yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
Now right outside the door, she's a big barstard there
f yellers. And yet a few years ago they had
an issue with the big floods that are having up here.
You remember, yes, and this is sort of a street
where there's a bit of a basin at the bottom
of it. So you come down a hill, you come
into the basin, and you go upper hell.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
So the water.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Settled there created a lot of erosion at the time.
That was twenty twenty three. God, time flies, time flies.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
That was the weekend of my wedding.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Ah that we went, we went invited to that where
we I remember that, I remember that very clearly. Anyway,
the way that the council dealt with it was they
put over one of those you've seen those metal sheets.
The sheets are metal. They just put that over the
top of the hole. You just drive over the metal sheets.
That sort of that out.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Anyway, that it's been like that for three years.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Oh wow, that's good.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Yeah, Oh yeah, No, they're all over it anyway, Surprise, surprise,
it's gotten worse.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
And the sinkhole is now five meters by five meters
three to four meters deep. And you know a lot
of the locals around there, and they come over to
me and they say, magie, like old Bobby Skelton, one.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Of my neighbors here, he's an old fellow. Jashu to
remember him. Yeah, Bobby. Sure.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
He comes over to me and he sees, mate, what
are we going to do? You know the infrastructure shot.
You've got all these clay pipes down here, one hundred
and thirty year old. What evens in the next big
weather of it, the big rain comes through here, it's
only going to make things infinitely worse.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Bobby.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
And I'm walking past her to drop my daughter off
to school the other day with the wife, and they're
dropping off a porta com a lunch room right right.
So these guys are for the for the workers there.
You don't see that very often. Normally they have to
sit on the road. They've dropped a port com off there.
These guys are going to be there for months and months.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
And months, must be Yeah, they call that keysy. She's
a big job. She's a big job.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
So I've had a word with old Bobby Skelton there
and we've decided that we're just going to fill it
up with odds and sods from sort of around the
neighborhood there. So I've been putting my sort of my
orange peels, food scraps, nice organic grass clippings, Yeah, recycling
a couple of old couches, an old ship box at
the lawn mower bug then and there to the old

(10:28):
you remember the equa the eck was gone and I'm
just doing a bit of a call out, so it's
a bit of a public service announcement. I just need
people to come off and just drop off anything you
can think of and just chuck it down this bloody
sinkhole for us.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Well funny should say that, Maga. Speaking to my wife
just yesterday. We've got a lot of stuff in storage.
We don't know you, so I might if that's all
all g by, you just fill up the boot.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
And come around and dump it off if that's okay.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Look with absolutely we've been in touch with different building supplies.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
We've got a whole much of.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
A spest or sheets getting dropped in there and anything
you can get your hands on, just pop it and
it's all g Well, you'll be amazed what you can
cover up under the cover of night, Kizy and you
get out there, and because the local guys there, the contractors,
they hate it when you start pulling down the fences

(11:22):
and start bagging around in that big hole there. Yeah okay,
but in the middle of the night you often find
they've gone home. Yeah, yeah, so we just chucking anything
we can fit down there, really because yeah, what happens
in the next run.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Well exactly, so we twigging people. Three four eight three.
Have you got anything you'd like to chuck into the
sinkhole that you.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
Could because I'm happy to come and pick it up.
And yeah, we've just got to sort out. But yeah,
Kikah as well to Auckland City Council. They've just knocked
that one out of the park.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Good start.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Three four eight three. What have you got to throw
into Mogi's sinkhole? Every text in the drawer for a
fifty yetle reburg about you.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
In the meantime, he's rage against the machine the whole.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune in
week days at four on Radio.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Hodach Metellica there on the Hodarky Big Show this mate.
For some reason, my headphones aren't working, but anyway, O,
there you go.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
They weren't plugged in. Fellers.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Hey, Now listen, the first Come Dine with Me is
happening this weekend.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
What is that? I hear you ask.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Well, each of us here on the show is going
to host all the Fellows and their partners for a meal. Yes,
based on the popular show Come Dine with Me.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Come Dine with the Feelings.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Since the name of it has Come Dine with the Fellers,
we've been calling it the wrong thing this whole time. Yes,
So the first cab off the Rankers Old Bogi, Old
Bogy this weekend. Now, the way you get scored as
you do your entre, you do your main, and you
do a dessert. There's also options here to have an
entertainment section and also a theme.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
A theme.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
We've been invited to something and that's got a Las
Vegas theme, I think, or something along those lines. And
they do sort of on on occasion because I'm a
big fan of Come Down with Me, and sometimes they
do the theme, sometimes they don't, and I'm just sort
of tossing.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Up what we should do. Yeah, and I've got a
couple of ideas and just sort of run a past you.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
How about we go formal so black tie okay, okay,
and then for the wives, sexy and partners, wives and partners.
Yeah right, okay, what do you think about that? That's
just my first six like, well, you know, you know
I don't need to it's up to I'm not certainly,

(13:39):
I'm not going to tell people what to wear.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Right, but then yeah, so I show up in a
suit and my wife's there in lingerie.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Well that's taken it to the extremes.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
I'm just asking the queen. I have no idea, what
the hell is that?

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Well, the thing I give you the theme. I'm not
going to tell you what to wear. I'm not.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
I'm making the I'm making the meal. Can I'm a
bit busy to come and dress your wife. Can I
wear sixy? I mean I'd rather you didn't because well
you can, because but the theme for you is.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
I like it because my wife's come up with a
very similar kind of theme, which for when you host
for when West, which is what.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Keys in the bowl?

Speaker 2 (14:20):
See?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
I like that? Thank you, Mogi.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
You and I Initially I was.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Continued.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Initially, I was like dark, what I thought, Actually, your
odds are pretty good.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
It's pretty good. What weekend was it?

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Well, we haven't decided when I'm doing it yet, And
I mean, can I just say, just to assure you
feel us, we haven't agreed on that as a theme.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
That was just an idea that was being tossed around.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Because like just to just to show where I'm coming
at this, Yeah, what were your ideas for the thing?
The idea I had was, you know, we'd all come
dress as sort of your favorite actor.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Hah.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
That was my theme. And what about for the wives?

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Well within that, I don't know why it's separating the
themes out. The other issue, Oh, okay, we nore you
go is budget?

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Oh yes, because I'm thinking, you know, old Keysy with
his Game of Two Halves money, he's got a big budget.
I probably don't have the same kind of budget.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Is that just something that you just sort of have
to suck up? Is that the idea that you just
eat it?

Speaker 4 (15:31):
You just you put it on, Like Mogie's going to
spend a fortune this weekend. I'll spend a fortune when
I host.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Right, Okay, So there's no limit on what we can
spend here.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Okay, my wife's gonna spend a fortune on Lingerie.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
The whole Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
