Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchyes.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Indeed, in keepers there on the Hodarchy Big Show this
Monday afternoon. The time is ten minutes to six o'clock.
And I tell you what fellas. She really was an
action packed weekend. We had come dine with the Fellows
at Mogi's on the Sunday afternoon, bloody beautiful. On the
Saturday afternoon, I went to a movie with my wife
and her father, and then my wife and I went.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
To a gig at the power Station.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
And I got to tell you, it's been a while
since old Hoidy j Has been to a live gig.

Speaker 5 (00:39):
I can't believe you went too the power Station. That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
And seriously, it was so good, genuinely being back I
spent I went to so many gigs at the power
Station and it was like, my God, I used to
spend so much time here. I used to do gigs
there even and it's been an age since I've been
there live bands and and I immediately it just took
me back to my sort of.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Prime days, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
And when you're in a listening to live music, you
can literally feel the vibration.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Of the music, you know what I mean. It's just
pumping through you.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
And at first, I've gotta be honest with you, when
my wife and I turned up, I was like, Oh,
what are you doing a gig these days?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Especially when you're sober?

Speaker 6 (01:22):
Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Normally back in the day, of course, i'd be off
my face, cut and shapes. But then I just started
to feel the music, you know what I mean, And
it was pumping through my veins, and I found myself
just sort of wandering to the front of the stage
and it was like I couldn't help myself, you know,
it was just the music was just in my bones.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Again.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I was back in my twenties, in my heyday, and
I'm cutting shape, I'm jesting, moving and I can feel
it pulsing through me, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
And I said, have I lost all sense of time?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
And then after about half an hour, I said, I
looked around and what I didn't really it's a circle
around me and I was doing all my old moves
and everyone was like chatting hoiy j hodi j hoidi
j and I was just cutting shapes and oh ah,
it was amazing. And then because I we'd had quite

(02:17):
a spicy lunch, and I was like, oh god, and
I was aware of the fact that everyone was looking
at me, and I wasn't feeling that great my guts
because I've been jumping around all over.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
The place, and I could feel a steamer brewing and.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I was like, oh no, and the music was still
pumping away, and I was sort of slowing down the things,
and fortunately I was wearing boxer shorts and was able
to chest just really quietly sort of let one go
and let it fall down the leg of my pants
and just kick it onto the dance floor.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
But I forgot.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
I forgot, of course, that everyone was watching me in
a circle. So there was old Hoidy j cutting shapes
with one of my grogans, just lolling on the dance floor.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
And what did your wife think?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I She had already left by that stage as soon
as I started dancing actually kezy lo. It was good though,
Fellas recommends. We went to see the Silver Sun Pickups,
by the way, not not my kind of music, but
was bloody good because I had a drummer in it. Yeah,
I had a beat going on, like, what's that about.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarky.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
White Stripes there on the Hanarchy Big Show this Tuesday evening,
Now fell us. I feel a little bad because I
was very disparaging of Kesey's racing pigeon, and I made
the comment that he was maybe a bit of a
big unit.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
I may have been even.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
More emphatic in the way I described him, He's a
big boode, and I felt, you know, sort of hypocritical.
Was at the top of the hour here I was
talking to you about the fact that, as Patson once described,
I'm getting a bit of a winter pelt going on.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
For them to say that about you, I think is
very very disrespectful.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, well, I mean, in fairness to Pugson, I'm wearing
a very tight fitting sort of Marino sort of blackwoody today.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
And every other day, and it really.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Accentuates my bossy.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
But you know what actually seriously triggered it was the
video that we released at Mogi's ah and there was
a little shot in there of me sitting on the
chair and it looked like I had an enormous gut.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
And I was like, what is going on there, hoodie Jay?

Speaker 2 (04:34):
You know, I mean, I don't mind having bussies in
a bit of a gut. But what I've realized, because
as you well know, I'm an addict, I'm one of
those people that hops onto something and then can't let
it go until I get bored with it. And What's
happened to me since I've moved into town is I've
become hot on spicy, your spicy Asian foods, your dumplings,

(04:58):
your fried rices, noodles, your noodles, your hot pots.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
You've recently started a nightly addiction to a yogurt.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yes, yes, I have, honestly shocking I am a shocking basketble.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
But I've also noticed, as I've been just cruising around
the place, I'm constantly got a kind of burning in
the system. And I realized it's because I'm constantly eating rich, spicy, salty,
delicious Asian food. I mean, last night, last night, we will, Jake,

(05:36):
what are you going to have for dinner tonight?

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Jay's hot pot? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah, good one for even noodles, dumplings and fried.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Rice and pretty much have hot I was just like,
what am I I do this?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
And it's like my full back position. And it's my
wife's too. She's she's enabling me in this.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
We could just do this.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
M and it's like, actually, I'm I've got to pull up,
you know, and make a decision here to pull back
on the hot spicy foods.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Well, I think it's I think it'd be good for you.
A few few sellers. Never heard anybody there, Jason. Of
course you've been running pretty hot on the Is it
my lanas the Gaiscon?

Speaker 2 (06:18):
It's actually I've got another brand, but it's a little
bit cheap of it the same thing.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
Yeah, that's that shouldn't be a central cornerstone part of
any man's diet. That should be a brief thing to
get over something over a day or two, and that
should be it.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
I tell you what. It's really affecting my stools too,
you know, doing that all the time.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
Because what I mentioned you doing Jason is every single
night hot part or some sort of variation of yes,
and then a frozen yogurt with instead of like chocolate
sauce on it, you just pulled Gaviscon on top of it,
and that's you Well.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
That's you're exactly right, Keezy, because it's the combination of
the cooling nature of the yogurt with gaviscon on top
of it to soothe my burning messages.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
When was the last time you ate a piece of fruit?

Speaker 6 (07:03):
It's a good question.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Last week really, yes, amandain one.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Before then banana okay, that was before we moved to
the city.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Six months ago.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
It's a fruit okay, ah, faith no more.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
in weekdays and four on Radio Hods.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Indeed food fighters there on the Hodarchy Big Show. There's
our Wednesday evening fellows.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
I went to the specialist today, Yes, Specialist and throat Kezy,
that's one of the big ones. Those guys, they make
a few barb let me tell you there. And I
went out. But I've also I've got a medical insurance
because I believe in you know, free education, free health
and all that sort of thing. I believe in that, yes,
but we don't have that here. So when I get sick,

(08:01):
I'm happy to pay for it because it means I
can be seen too quicker. Although in this instance it
took me four months to get them with an EOS
and throat specialist so now you think i'd be better,
but I'm not. I just got sick again. I've just
another round of antibiotics, so I'm trying to get them
to operate on me so I don't have to do
four or five rounds of antibiotics.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
A year, because that's bad.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
You can't do it.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
It's not good man, Yeah, it's not good. So anyway,
made the appointment, got out there and there. I actually
rang them on the way out there and said, look,
I'm sorry, I'm running late. I'm going to be ten
minutes late. I meant to be there in two minutes.
I'm going to be another ten to twelve. She said, oh,
that's fine. And the reason why she said that was
because when I got there, it was another half an
hour before I got in with the NOS and throats specialists.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Yeah, it's always slightly bewildering for me because it's a
half an hour appointment. Yes, what are we doing in there?
What's taking so?

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Well?

Speaker 7 (08:47):
Maybe someone with a huge honker and massive ears Walton
who's like showing to push everything in my calendar back.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah, yes, and you got as you mentioned, you know,
if you put the words specialist before them, how are
you going to be charged big bucks. Well, and time
is money, magi, so they're probably stretching it out.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
Absolutely it is. But this guy and lovely guy was
fan of the show, but he obviously realizes that he's
charging a few bobs, so he wants to give you
bang for your back. Yes, so he's getting out the pictures.
He's getting the pictures out, and he's showing you on
the diagram. These are your sinuses. This is what's going
on here. You know, this is why we think that

(09:31):
the body has evolved this way to have these things
on it. Here is your x ray, This is your
x ray the front of you, and just going step
by step. Now it ain't really nicely.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
I hate it.

Speaker 6 (09:44):
I hate it. Tell me what's wrong with me, tell
me the solution, and get me out of here. And
I'm just sitting there and and he's trying to give
me as much information as he possibly can. Well, now
I make you are great. But now I know why
you were running so late. Yes, you've got to shorten
it up, me, You got to shorten it up. You
really got to start being a bit more specific and

(10:05):
just delivering that message in quicker. I don't need to
know any of that stuff. All I need to know
is a what's wrong with me? And what the cure is?
Agreed in terms of knowledge, that's your job as a specialist.
I prefer to be uneducated and well, yes, then have
somebody banging on at me for half of it.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I'll be honest with you, Magie. That's why I don't
go to the doctor, because just go, oh no, you've
got this ship, got this ship, I've got this And
it's like, I'm a busy man exactly, I'm missing the
movie channel right now.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Give we hurry it along, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
And to be fair though, I remember when I was
quite poor and I had to go to the chiropractor
and I went to the chiropractor for the first time
in my life, and I walked in there.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
He's like, okaday, man, what's going on?

Speaker 7 (10:48):
I saw back cool adjusted it and then I was like, cool,
is there anything like? Should I put heat on it?
He's like does it make you feel better when you
put heat on it? And I was like, ah, like
a hot what I guess? So yeah, sure they do
it and then walked out and I was like, cool,
there's like a one hundred and fifty dollars and he
did a four.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
Yeah, the worst one I've come across, and you know
that God was great, But the worst one I've come
across was a dermatologist. And they they have fifteen minute
appointment and they charge like five or six hundred dollars. Yeah,
it's outrageous, absolutely unbelievable.

Speaker 7 (11:17):
Should we become radio specialists, I think so?

Speaker 6 (11:21):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (11:22):
Well, consultants a consultant, Yeah, charge in half an hour windows,
so we're charging six times for the show.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Beautiful, Back the Hood acting big show with Jason, Mike
and Kyzy. Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodo.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
On the radio, that's what that's what you get here.

Speaker 3 (14:34):

Speaker 5 (14:37):
That's right o the day before. Yeah, yeah, man, thirty five.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Nirvana there on the Hodaki Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
I'm sorry, I'm just a bit distracted. Pugs just ran
in the studio, grabbed a handful of chips and spilt
them all over the chair, particularly after he's had a
post yesterday asking who made this mess?

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Read some crackers?

Speaker 2 (15:35):
We had, Mogi, it was by the way, but the
audience said me eighty four percent.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
I don't know what you're talking about. Man, you've lost
the plot.

Speaker 6 (15:42):
Yeah, you're off your head. You're off your head, Keezy,
what's going on? Brother?

Speaker 7 (15:45):
Hey Fellers, you've got to have a favorite to ask
you guys, Oh you got it, you know how like.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
I'm not of an inclination to grant you a favor
at the moment, Kezy.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
What a bit of wish? Well hear me out, Jase, men,
because I think it's something that you you be in
particularly very good at.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
You know.

Speaker 7 (16:02):
While back, I bought an old motorbike. Oh yeah, it's
like fifty years old.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Got it on the road.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
It's now warranted Ridges, which is great. It's cold though,
so I haven't taken it out yet. Yeah, yeah, but
I was thinking the weather's been's so good.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
He came in the other day, Jason the motorbike. By
the time he got any of from out with because
it's a bit of a ride, he had an icicle
hanging off that honker.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Yeah yeah, Maggie, that's not true.

Speaker 7 (16:22):
And the reason that's not true is because and ice
big you mean, the reason that's not true is A,
you can't have an ice berg on the front of
your face.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
Icebergs are in the sea. That doesn't make any sense.
And B.

Speaker 7 (16:42):
That's what I want to ask you guys about. I'm
actually thinking of riding it into work for the first time.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
How fast does it go?

Speaker 5 (16:47):
I don't know, like one hundred and from the factory
in the seventies, one hundred and eighty. Oh yeah, you
know what I mean? What ever, Okay, there is.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
No way what that pile of russ and chase isn't.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
A horror of the moon now because of that big pole.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
There is no way clock one hundred and eighty k
not in a million years.

Speaker 6 (17:10):
Can I ask you, Kezy, what would be Why would
you be reluctant to bring it in? Well, the issue
is no good on it?

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Well I can ride it very well, thank you. I
grew up riding motorbikes. But the issue is there is
a chance that it doesn't make it in. Yes, and
so what I need is a sort of support crew
on call, ready to help me out. So it's a
twenty minute ride in on the motorway from out West
into the studio five by car, and there is a

(17:42):
hoduki ute here which is obviously going to tray on it.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Oh yes, yes.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
What I might do is bring in the ramp. I've
got put that on the back of the hoduky ute,
so it's ready to go it all time, and then
I'll set off on my bike. You know, we usually
meet here at two o'clock. I'll leave my house at
one just to be safe. Yeah, and then maybe I'll
get halfway and it might break down. It shouldn't, you know,
because she's she's a pretty reliable old girl, and I
just need someone to maybe be on stand by to

(18:07):
come pick me up. Would would anyone be open to that?

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Not?

Speaker 6 (18:10):
Ah, this bike keasy. It's got to go.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
Man, What do you mean it's really talked about it
at all.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
It's got to go, though, I mean, you're talking about
riding it in, but you are a great concerns that
it's not going to make it.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
It's just the first time, and it's so old, you know.

Speaker 7 (18:24):
I just it's just I'm nervous about the first time
once I've done it, you know, it's just that first time.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
Then, just the first time. Is that why you'd leave
the ramp in town just for.

Speaker 5 (18:34):
The first time? Yeah, I just need help.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
So you're asking if you did break down the first time.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
On the motorway or whatever, one of us come to
pick you up, and.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Then yeah, just put it on the back, just for
the first time, right, No.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
And I and I think on the the plus side
of that is that your wife would be stoked with me.
She's not happy about this Bikekezy. She is not happy
to bring.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
My wife into it.

Speaker 7 (19:01):
Are you sure you wouldn't come pick me up, Jase,
Because to be honest, if you came, it would save
me a lot of grief.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
I wouldn't he use the ramp, would use the honker instead.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Hey boy, oh boy, yeah, I'd ride down on the road.

Speaker 7 (19:16):
If you can ride up my k you just lie
down and I'll just use it as a jump, although
I might clear the track by accident.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
The Wold Aking Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio.
