Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, it's a disgrace actually because we were talking about it.
He's on a golfing tournament and it's basically for three
days he's playing golf and drinking beersies And that's I mean,
when are we going to raise our standards on the
show relieve? I mean, can any one now just go,
oh sorry, boss, I'm playing golf.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
I'm gonna have a day off.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I'm gonna have a day off for the have a
long weekend because I'm playing golf. You know what I'm saying, Fellas,
it's a bloody disgrace. Anyway, Mogie, what's coming up on
the show?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Then what's happening on the big show with old Mogi?

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Bloody huge bastard, I tell you, in a huge bastard.
It is a throbber. Throbber's back, baby. Stay tuned after five,
that's happening. We're going to be interviewing old mate Carl Urban.
You know him. He is a Hollywood superstar. He is

(02:44):
a legend. He's got a new film coming out, Mortal Kombat,
as well as the final season of the Boys and
some other movie that's on Amazon. About that one, the
woman in that it's I've seen the trailer for it,
but I haven't seen the film yet, wore. They are
both looking very good. Let me tell you that. Let
me tell you that. And also coming up next, fellows,

(03:04):
I want to talk about board games. I started playing
board games with my daughter, sure, and I'm just wondering
at what point should I even what role to play?
Has cheating got when you when you're playing with your
young kid? There? All right?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah, fair call man. In the meantime, here's Lincoln Park.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
I'm good, by the way, fellas.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
Oh did I not ask no because of a complete
lack of interest?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Okay, I also just say frad out Shia.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, sure man.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Three for three.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Every text or contribution to the show in the draw
for fifty bucks cash thanks to I makes it to
let us beautiful.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
The darky Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Radio head there on the radio, hold ankey big show
this gloomy Friday afternoon noon. I believe we've got a
few froud outset Pukshan on three four eight three.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
That's right, send them through everyone in the draw for
fifty bucks cash thanks to our mate at Toledos evening
Fellers couldn't get a froud out to me, I'll make Jimmy,
who will be listening to the podcast in London, would you.
He's a shocking bastard and throwed out to Pugs for
doing the heavy lifting on the show to day chairs.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Yeah. Nice, yeah, nice little self serving redoun.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I mean there's like fifty texts there and that's the
one he picks, you know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (04:22):
Yeah, at what point do you think you're going to
butcher something on the panel there?

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Well, now that you've set it very very soon, Fellows,
I just wanted to talk about something that's come up.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
My daughter was off crook again from school today, so
we ended up just playing with She's at the age
now we've started playing board games, yes, and card games,
and one of the card games we're playing, and the
one we were playing today is you get a stack
of cards, you split them in two, you flip them over,
and on each card is you know, about say ten

(04:54):
different Disney characters. So it could be a princess or
a castle, or a candlestick or a jug, any of
these different things. And there's they are different sizes across
all the cards, and they are different the different options
of what might be on those different cards. And so
what you've got to do is you've got to pick
the match. So I'll flip over a card. My daughter
will flip over a card, and then you have to
pick the match. I picked the match. That becomes a pair,

(05:17):
and then at the end of the game you count
up how many pairs you've got. So sort of like
you know, any number of sort of memory based and
observation based games. Now, the first few times I played it,
absolutely dominated, absolutely useless. She's six by the way, Okay,
absolutely dominated her and that. But as it went on
and we played more and more games, she was getting

(05:38):
better and better. Yes, now, the rules that I run,
if you're going to beat me, you're going to earn it.
I'm not one of these parents that will just give
you a victory to keep you interested. I want it
to be that when you finally beat me, it will
mean something. I'm not just going to give you victories.
And it's been going great guns. I'm on a streak,

(05:58):
like a six year wedding streak, just absolutely on fire.
But now I could see that she was stating to
be me. My thing is I wanted to earn it.
So I was slightly disappointed in myself. I don't know
if I should be when, well, you tell me, is
this cheating? We flip the cards over, and as soon
as we flip the cards over, I start looking for

(06:18):
the peers, as does she, but to distract her because
she got a five peer lead in this last game,
right the final game, she had a fire and I
starting to get a bit oh god, so I start
pointing out. I go, oh, look now as the princess. Oh,
it's the frog, and she starts she go, no, no,
it's not, because I can't see one over there. So
I've got her now looking for the peer that I'm

(06:40):
saying is there. But meanwhile I'm just because I know
it's not. What I've said is a complete light. So
I'm just looking through and looking for the actual peer
while she's distracted by the I like to call it gamesmanship. Yes,
that I've brought to the table. And then I managed
to catch up and overtake her. And I meant I
won only by two peers in the end, when previously
I've been winning by fifteen pears twelve pairs. So she's

(07:03):
got no idea that I mean is that cheating.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Look, I applaud you. I think that's terrific stuff, mogi.
And can I say one thing life, Yes, welcome to
the life, little one, because this is what happens in life.
You get those people that will distract you, that will,
you know, run subterfuge, that will gaslight you. And if

(07:28):
she can succeed despite all of that going on around her,
keep her focus, she's going to be all the stronger
for it.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
I think you're right.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
I think it's I think it's a commendable act of parenthood.

Speaker 6 (07:41):
Yes, thank you, father of the year. Sort of territory.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Very much, so very much.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
There was a moment there where because you put over
a card over it at a time, So I put
my card down on the table. She was very slowly
putting her card down but then she would put it
down in a way that she could see everything on
the card, and then she's looking at the one on
the ground and she'd actually made the match for her
peer before she'd even put her card down on the table.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, that was shocking, you got it? Yeah, No, that's
not on um. And and here's the other thing that
people don't think about is that if she ever does
beat you, yes, well there's where's no moral respect. No,
I beat dad and that, yeah, he's an idiot.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
And can I also say as well, if she can
beat me in an honest game, how much better will
she feel about that? And if she can beat me
in a game where I've been cheating for years, she's
gonna be She's going to have to be so good
at that game in order to defeat me. Indeed, man
text us on three for eight three, is that okay

(08:44):
to cheat at games against your kids just so that
you can continue your winning stream?

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Or if you cheat on any games of the kids,
give us a buzz on three for three as well.
Fifty bucks Toledo's cash up for grabs like this one here.
Congrats on teaching your daughter manipulation.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Alcohol.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
The hurd archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Tune in week days at four on.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Radio hodarchyp There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
Friday afternoon. Fellas, you didn't foulers, you didn't hear me?

Speaker 6 (09:18):
What's that? Jase?

Speaker 2 (09:21):
See, I nailed that and you you were both looking
off into the distance.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
When you do something, well, things wrong.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
That's that's fair, Murgie. No, listen, fellas, you know that
I live in the CBD. Now, I live in an
apartment block, right yeah, oh yeah. Now you won't know
this because I haven't even talked about it before, But
in the lobby of our apartment every week someone is
in charge of doing a little flowers display.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
Do you mean one of the tenants?

Speaker 2 (09:53):
One of the tenants, And it's sort of chefs from
person to person to person. And I've our flower display
is coming up in about two weeks. But I've noticed
over the last couple of weeks that people are really
starting to up the anty.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Can I just ask, how do you know whose week
it is?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
A roster rare a flowers are It's like it's like
if you're in a church, you know what I mean,
who's doing the church flowers? This week, Old Hardy Jade,
not that I would be doing that. So We're coming
up in like two weeks and I'm feeling the pressure.
But the the the peace last night that they put
up there wasn't even really flowers. It was just a

(10:32):
few all tomnal leaves with carved vegetables. Like I can't
even remember what the what the actual animals were, like,
I think it was a hdge hedgehog is a badger.

Speaker 5 (10:44):
I think a porcupine. It looks more like a pone pupine,
and then a duck.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
And a duck and these have all been hand carved
out are vegetables. I think there were some persimins in there.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
They were three person It was a magnificent display.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
And I've thought to myself, geez, people are upping the
anty here. You know, they want flower bragging rights in
the apartment. And I'm, you know, I don't mind admitting
I'm not really a florist sort of related really, And
I was wondering if you guys might have some tips
for Old Hoody j in terms of what I could
do for an arrangement.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
So they're going there for a week today. It goes
for a week here look, I mean there's some obvious
things that you could be doing bookette wise. You could
just go for larger a you're looking to win, or
you don't care, you're looking to bring it back down.
What are your goals?

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I guess Oh, look, I think because of my competitive nature, moogi,
I want to be the best.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Can I also just say the first time you do
this will set the baseline standard for the next time
that it comes around on the roster for you.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Yeah, totally. I want people to look at my display
and go, hello, here we go. Now it's really up
the anti.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Yeah, well, it feels like it's got to be something
something you've never seen before. I mean, I love the
idea that that person's put into it, the thought that's
gone into carving animals out of fruits and ve vegetables,
shes and that's got nothing to do at all with
a flower displays, with a floral display, does it? So
you could go a massive bouquette something smaller, but I

(12:10):
think you need to bring still real life into it.
And if you did a foot because I've seen the table,
if you lay down on your side, George Costanza styles
as there somebody who's painting you. Yes, yes, completely naked
with just a very small bunch of grapes hiding your balls,

(12:30):
just my balls, just your balls. Wait now, because that
would mean that the people then, because you mainly live
with elderly people, and so the people there will be going,
hang on a minute, is that and you'll be able
to say, yes, it is.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
But I I mean, I don't want a scenario because
you're right, there's mostly elderly people. I don't want a
scenario Mogi where my balls are hidden by a small
red or green grapes go green, green, yeah, and the
old people are going, but what's this bit?

Speaker 6 (13:01):
Yes, you know what I mean? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I don't want people sort of like I'm happy to
lay their naked, but I don't want them to sort of.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
You need it do not touch sign.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
People are very sort of anal about that anyway. They
don't like, you know, you farting around with it. But
I just wonder if it's only my balls that have
been covered by the grapes that people might start having
a bit of a to is that a hedgehog?

Speaker 6 (13:27):
There's also the issue of your penous circumcision, and you
don't really want to put that on display. Well, unless
it was in some kind of a medical museum, some
sort of shop of horrors.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
You're true, So actually I'm really liking this fellas. The
only thing is, you know i'd have to take the
week off.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Well, what a great way to use your weelfy.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Being a floral display in my lobby of my apartment
building with Mafatos hanging out my bulls, the.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Larchy Big Show with jas, Mike and Kyzy. Tune in
Dad four on Radio Holarky Radio hold Ache celebrating food
Fighters new album your favorite toy?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Yes, indeed, h and Mokey's in charge of the toys today,
which always makes me slightly suspicious. But remember everyone that
comes in and tries to get or gets a prize
also goes in the drawer to win two tickets to
either the Auckland Show or the christ Church Show. That's
the food Fighters that.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Is that's happening in January as well.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
Now, Jace, do you want to pick somebody from the
lines here?

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah, sure, let's go. Dave. Shall we get a Dave?
Your mayd Barst? How's live?

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Good?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Mate?

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Good?

Speaker 6 (14:50):
Is yourself made?

Speaker 2 (14:52):
What's the plan for your Friday night? Dave?

Speaker 8 (14:55):
Oh, knocked off after a long hard we cople of
sneaky beverages and make a plan.

Speaker 6 (15:02):
What was so hard about your week? Man? Oh, Maggie,
I don't do bugger all, bro. But it's tiring, but
you make it look hard, you know it? Mate?

Speaker 2 (15:14):
You obviously a food fighter's fan there, Dave.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Mate, we're a backbone mate. Well look, I'm going to
reach into this massive box of toys and see what
I can find. How much longer does this go for
this competition because we're running out of toys. Ah, you're
in luck, mate, Dave. You're gonna look so good at this, brother.
This is a This is an outfit, man. This is

(15:40):
for dressing up. It's called the Bartender, and it's a
fake mustache and beard. And when I tell you that
this looks ship, I cannot under overstate how bad this
looks man, So even on the picture promoting it, know,
having a mustache that go, he makes your bar teend

(16:02):
to day. But you'll be able to work it out.
It's also got the price tag on it, man, four bucks.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
That's great value.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
Something in with it as well, then we'll find something
else to give you, because this is an absolute shock.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yeah, I mean we've been giving away fake Poohs and
all sorts, but this actually is the bottom of the barrel.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
Well you can blame Dave gral for that because he
personally came those toys and brought their box.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
And to celebrate the new album your favorite.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Well, hopefully you win yourself the flights and the trip
to going through the Fuies in January. Mate, that would
be amazing.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Good on you, Dave, you're back. Will you have a
great Friday and weekend?

Speaker 6 (16:42):
Mate?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Thanks for calling Jeers.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Down the lane stand the lane stand the line, I'll
chuck you over the old Billy.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Son speaking of Lane now, we will be speaking to
him later in the show, I believe. With the rugby
coming up over the weekend, I mean apparently he's gone
to a bar so, I mean, who knows.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Let me say this, he said four point thirty to
us and now it's somebody's fifteen year work anniversary a
web master Joe from the ACC.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
So who knows.

Speaker 6 (17:12):
Last or not? But I reckon he will be.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Speaking of the foos.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Here they are the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four
on Radio Hdarchy.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
You two there on the Radio Darchy Big Show. This
Friday afternoon, the time ten to five. Let's talk TV.
What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
Fellas. Last night I was watching It's actually a podcast
available on tv Z plus stand Up Again. It's called Hosted.
Do you know Negarado, the comedian, Yes, I don't. His
missus theres Sophie, and they talk to people about the
times in their life when everything's gone wrong and how
they've continued on from the yea. Last night's an eb
so they talked to different people packs sosadis one. Who

(18:06):
else is on there? Joe Damon, the whole bunch last night?
Brilliant old Mogi. Jeez, what an interesting life that guy's led. Yeah.
My only complain about it was it wasn't longer. Jeez.
You get some great insights, really really good.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
How long was it?

Speaker 6 (18:22):
Incidentally? About forty five minutes?

Speaker 8 (18:27):
Yes, okay, forget me over sort of a week orse
so you can chop it up episodes to bite size
the year consumable or numbers here, so yeah, and the
four to five buzzy out of a possible five buzzy
round sort.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Of like one of those Netflix shows where you go
on your phone at the same time.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Old, No, not a two screener. Keyzy's missus would absolutely
love it.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Yeah, yeah, nice, nice.

Speaker 6 (18:53):
What do you watch?

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Funnily enough, I was well watched an old show goosby.
Oh and it's funny. You know, when you haven't watched
the show for ages, then you suddenly I'd love to
see old Gorms be again. And mate, it's even better
further down the track, you know what I mean. At

(19:16):
the time, you sort of watching it going, oh, you know,
it's not too bad, but it is aged beautifully.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
Who isn't that.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Jason Hoyt, Yes, Tendy right, yes, Thomas yeah, something like that.
And of course the great for the word, the great
David McPhail.

Speaker 6 (19:46):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
In all seriousness, one of his best ever performances, I
think is Gorms be the Man himself.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
I'd agree with that, and just.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
A comedy, but you know that was ahead of it's time.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
I'd agree with that, so good. What about you, Paksun,
did you watch any self? Oh good? Out of a
possible five, where did you watch that on a DVD?
Did you watch any self sources pak song? Maybe the
anchor video you did?

Speaker 5 (20:17):
Oh yeah, that's hey, bro, Thank you?

Speaker 6 (20:23):
Did you like that? No, I've watched it so many times.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
He loved it.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
No, I actually went to watch a podcast that I'm
on on TV and d plush, but it wasn't up.

Speaker 6 (20:34):
Yet this morning extremely casual gamers. Yeah, you're not kezy on.
There isn't it this morning? Mate?

Speaker 5 (20:41):
And I also started the new season of Euphoria Familiar.

Speaker 6 (20:46):
Now.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
I love the first two seasons. I was very hooked
on that.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
All I've heard is shit about this third season, just
how garbage. It is not as bad as I thought
so far, if you can get over the fact that
most of the actors feel like they hate that they're
there and that they don't want to be there. The
packaging of it is actually is actually not been.

Speaker 6 (21:03):
It looks amazing, It looks amazing. I couldn't get through it.
It just made me. I didn't like how it made
me feel.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
It's like a I mean, that's his thing, right, It's
just making you feel gross.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Because Megie and I were talking about this yesterday park
seriously and we were both kind of the same. We
got through about two episodes and I was the same
as like.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Just made me anxious and as teenage ys and all
that sort of shit. So I loved them. I don't
need to see it again.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Yeah, whereas the anchor video you felt very warm. I
didn't even feel like I was been preached to. It
just seemed like a guy at home making a fool
of himself.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days and four on Radio Hodakey.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
It's the Whole Big Shows Friday from Yeah.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
This is probably one of the greatest segments to ever
walk God's Green Earth, wouldn't you say? I'd say, Man,
We've been doing it for almost five years straight now,
when I've had approaches. So we've had approaches to turn
it into a TV show, into a feature film, and
to play on the West End podcast as well, but
we just want to keep it in its purest form.

(22:22):
We each choose a song to get your Friday, your
weekend going into orbit. You give us a ring. I
had one hundred herd Achi first to get to two
votes out of a possible three, and that song gets played,
and we keep track of it, and we mock each
other and we tell each other that our choice, each
other's choice is a ship out. Is that about it?

Speaker 2 (22:45):
About nailing it.

Speaker 5 (22:46):
I'm just on that Dilly and Studio B filling in

Yeah, man, feel the thrub not over that last I
don't care. That was the best bet. It was a
good man. The text machine has absolutely let up j
taking out the throb of this week. We should also
have a look at the.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Scores you have, Mogi.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
You're in the leads on Oh No, You've got a
tide lead there with Old Kezy with six and Jace.
You are coming third on five and because I'm here,
I should probably note that I've got a big fat zero.

Speaker 6 (28:40):
Yeah good yeah, a whole lot of a whole lot
of tips coming through on three for eight three. This
one here absolute people as positive. This one here, what
a shitter? This one here that turned my throbber into
a flop. What the hell is this? Fordy j? This

(29:05):
bee boop shit sucks? You guys have lost your way?
Oh wow, just jumped in the car. What is this?
Don't tell me whaty J won with this drop kick
of the song? Thanks Jizz, turning the car around to
go back to work. You've lost the meaning of Throbbers.
Nearly fell asleep at the wheel listening to that abomination,

(29:27):
more slobber than throbber. Ready to fall asleep. What in
the jiz bot was that throbbing headache? What is the ship? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (29:36):
So, I mean so you'd say I never thought for
a second that it was going to win. No, no, genuinely,
And I was saying I wrote it in the chat
I reckon. The longer you take it aside on something,
the worse the decision. What do you reckon?

Speaker 6 (29:56):
I think it gets anyway?

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yeah, you know, And I always find my best decisions
generally made pretty quickly. That one. For some reason today,
I just I was looking at songs and I just
went on no, no, and I came up with that shitter.
But for some reason at won today.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
Jayce. You got to save these origin stories about how
you picked your winners for the feature length documentary we
should make people really want to know one man, can
you tell me again how you chose it? You were
looking at some songs and then you thought, oh, go
with this one.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
I went, I said, I'd go with this shitter. I'd
given up. I just went a little deal. I was
seeing that to Dilley sweet Airs, Well you did it man,
great job. Thanks fellas Ah speaking of back to normal
service a fellas Yeah, the space of.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
The Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.

Speaker 6 (30:51):
Tune in on Radio Hocky.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Indeed Metallica there on the Radio Darchy Big Show this
moody Friday evening the time five thirty two.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Feelers. I've got a bone to pick, a bone to pick.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
Generally, I would like to say that you guys have
done a lot for me.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
You guys have brought me up a lot since I've
been here on the show.

Speaker 5 (31:13):
This is probably my fourth year doing it, and I
really appreciate the way that you have given me a
lot of opportunities to increase my skills and better myself,
and you generally are very positive.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Thanks, Thanks, Pugs. We appreciate it. That week, were you
gonna Pugs, Thanks fakes, Pugs. That's great.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
Yeah, yeah, I just think we might have gone a
little bit over the scale.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
When it comes to the scale tip the scale if
I can.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Sorry about that, Jason, Yes, yeah, I'm not going to
pick a bone about that.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
Just as far as the positive informations go, particularly when
it comes to this Breakfast V Drive challenge, I just
thought i'd take the opportunity because obviously, you know, a
lot of the time I'm in studio byes.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
It's not it's you know, I'm in the area away.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
There, yeah Beaver, studio Beaver.

Speaker 5 (32:04):
I generally don't have much of an opportunity to speak
up for myself because this is your show.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
I'm not on here, you know what I mean? You
guys are the talent.

Speaker 6 (32:10):
That doesn't change because you're running the panel today.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Should I just go myself then do it real quick?

Speaker 5 (32:17):
I just think we're pushing it a little far when
it comes to hyping me up in terms of my
abilities in this bench prison challenge that we're going to
be doing, you know, in a little while, And I
think you're setting me up to fail, fail, embarrass myself, fail,
make you guys look bad.

Speaker 6 (32:38):
I was beginning to think you didn't get it, But yeah,
there's no I got it.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
We should also stayed. Actually, we've got a particular sort
of look for pugsun on the day t we do.
You'll recall the great Man himself, Yes, andre the Giant,
who used to.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
Resembance.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
So we're thinking that outfit on the day would just
go great guns.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Which is a classic sort of a wrestling tard. Yes,
where you have you know, you've got the over the
shoulder strap. It's very tight sort of a number how
to get a grip on a man. But the beauty
of andre As I used to call him, or the
Giant as he used to wear it as a little
over the shoulder number and he'd have one strap off

(33:26):
the shoulder and down hanging around the waist and you'd
always get the glimpse of one of his nips.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Yeah, he did have a formidable buzzy.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
He had a test out.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Can I describe the look as Tarzanish? Yes, yes, yeah,
so that's the pugs. If anyone is going to pull
that lock off.

Speaker 5 (33:52):
It's if we could just focus on the bone that
I'm packing, which is that you're hyping me up too much.
I can do a separate bone for the for the
what did you call it a wrestling Yeah, right, right.

Speaker 6 (34:02):
Like a Uni tard yes, but as a wrestling version.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
I just think we're doing it.

Speaker 5 (34:08):
We're doing a bit much there, and I'm not really
looking forward to giving it a go because I want
to give it my best. Yeah, but also I feel
that whatever I do, it's not going to be enough
compared to how you've hyped me up.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
I mean I think you're going to You're going to
absolutely thrive underneath the same people respond to pressure. Yes,
some people they grow under. The gay is the watchful
eye of hundreds of thousands of people. Some people buckle, yes,
some people crumble Kezy for example. Example, for some of you,

(34:38):
you don't want to have to rely on a tight situation.
But I don't think that you're that guy. We're going
to find out obviously.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Totally Funnily enough, I had a dream about you last night, Pugson,
and you're heaving sweaty busies just talt and ty I.
I thoroughly back you, and you are our secret weds.
I you're a unit man, and I've been with you

(35:07):
to the gym, and you are being unnecessarily.

Speaker 5 (35:11):
Humble, not letting you start necessarily here umu.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
The hold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Here's a Depearl jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
Show this Friday evening. Now a special treat for our
podcast listeners. We had the actor Carl Urban in for
a big chat today and we're going to be playing
that interview out in full tonight, I believe, Pugs.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
That's right. It'll be out with our other podcast seven
thirty pm. Wherever you get yours. Usually the iHeartRadio app
would recommend.

Speaker 6 (35:46):
He came in and pretty quickly it became clear of
what he is. But he wasn't happy with you. No,
not happy at all.

Speaker 7 (35:52):
Hey, listen, fellers, before we get too deep, yeah, before
we get two balls deep, I should say I've got
a bone to pick with you. Oh God, I got
a bolder it, so listen. No, I'm not one to
hold a grudge or anything, but I was listening to
The Big Show August the twenty seventh, last year, of

(36:15):
five thirteen PM, and you guys did the segment right
on who are your A list international celebrities?

Speaker 6 (36:22):
Remember? And you said no.

Speaker 7 (36:24):
You said, you know, like you know, like your Tiger
Way ties and to a lesser extent.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
No, I thought no, but no, no, but I thought no,
not fair enough.

Speaker 7 (36:34):
Okay, you know I don't put myself out there as
much like like Tiger did.

Speaker 6 (36:38):
And I'm not married a pop star.

Speaker 7 (36:40):
You know, I don't have that sexually transmitted fame, which
is bloody hard to get rid of once.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
You catch totally mate, you know, totally.

Speaker 7 (36:48):
But anyway, then you all went on to compile your
lists and completely left me off the list.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I'm gonna have to listen to the audio because I
don't believe that. I'm pretty certain that you were like
second on.

Speaker 6 (37:02):
My list was.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Yeah, shock, And it was quite for long to be
confronted like that, wasn't it, MOGGI straight off the bat well,
it had been simmering there for quite some time.

Speaker 6 (37:16):
What I liked about it was you said that it
didn't bother him, but quite clearly, yes, it was the
reason why he wanted to come here. He knew the
exact date in time.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
And time yeah, at that originally, which was August last year.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
But he's an absolute backbone, and I was thinking, you know,
we were going through his body of weren't we fellas?
And very much your kind of genre of film. I
was thinking, Patson, Yeah, in terms of you know, your
hero characters, et cetera, et cetera.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Yeah, I'm I'm sort of jaded with superhero films now,
but the boys, as you talk about Mogi in the podcast,
it's flipped the.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
Whole thing on its head and it's a very refreshing
sort of look at that whole concept. So yeah, yeah,
I'm a fan.

Speaker 6 (37:57):
He's done some I'm actually just looking at this thing
not as thingy, but its homdb now. And he did
read which was with if memory serves Me, Morgan Freeman,
Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
Oh oh yeah, you like that.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Huge focus.

Speaker 6 (38:21):
Carl Urban's not bad either. Yeah, So yeah, twenty five
minutes chat, what times that come out?

Speaker 5 (38:26):
Post that'll be out with the full show podcast and
the utro podcast as a bonus at seven point thirty PM.

Speaker 6 (38:32):
Should point out that he is in the latest Mortal
Kombat film, which is out now in cinemas. Get along
to that bar. So he's really proud of it, which
is great because he could have actually got in touch
to come on and have a yarn about it. Yes,
and it's the sort of you know when it comes
to projects like that, if you're not right into it,
you wouldn't be talking about it, you know what I mean.
It was our public says set up or anything like that.

(38:53):
So he's really staked with the film. So get along
and see it this weekend.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Yeah, beautiful mate. Yeah, should we go to a chune
but rim Maybe.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
The Hidarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchyes.

Speaker 6 (39:11):
Sorry, man, have distracted you there with a bit of
idle gossip.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Yeah, truly, we're having a bit of gossip there. Oh
hang on, jeez.

Speaker 5 (39:21):
Fellas, we got your chance to win two street Dog
electric motorbikes if you join our gang, the Sons of Hodarchy.
We're on the lookout for one winner to join our
North Island chapter.

Speaker 4 (39:33):
And one for our South Island as well.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
Yeah, I mean you guys would have remembered the video
that you filmed a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 6 (39:39):
I saw the video. Yeah, when was that? Yeah, I
saw it a couple of days ago. I think hot stuff,
hot stuff. I don't know why you wouldn't want to
be in our motorcycle gang. Yeah, some great looking, great
looking back.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
To actually took me back to our biking days, Maggie. Yeah, well,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (39:58):
Absolutely it stirred a few me if I had one.
I mean, I guess it's okay having Big in the
Sandy's because she is sort of like a mascot sort
of a thing, you know what. You know what I mean? Well,
because sort of the driving force and the heart of
our motorcycle Gang is sort of like dudes, you know,
shocking bursts, you know what I'm saying, But not really. Yeah,

(40:20):
well you'll find out, man, You've still got to be
You've still got to earn your petch actually, Pegs, we've
got your We got your pet ceremony coming up.

Speaker 5 (40:26):
Yeah, because I wasn't in the video, and I wonder
why that was, But I guess it's because I'm not
initiated yet.

Speaker 6 (40:32):
I will be to talk about that off you. But
let me tell you it's not saying you're super get.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Yeah, looking forward to it.

Speaker 6 (40:39):
And tell you what, boy, you might want to bring
a tell.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Tune in week days at four on radio.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Hold Ikey, you welcome back your messag bag bones. Hope
your Friday is going off.

Speaker 6 (41:01):
That's all good man.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
By the way, the Big Show is brought to you
by Toledos.

Speaker 5 (41:07):
Can't find us, request Toledos at You're local today.

Speaker 4 (41:13):
Or order some from Toledo's dot co doning z.

Speaker 6 (41:24):
That's a good point. Actually get in there and if
they haven't got it requested, and that will help Toledo's grows.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
You know, I was saying yesterday that my little one
was a bit croc. She's a bit crop fellows and
all that sort of carry on. Took some Toledo's home
for her bloody. She's tickety boo today. And I'm not
saying it's a medicine bar because I was consumed she
was getting dehydrated. Ah, and that just fixed her up.

Speaker 6 (41:52):
Bood.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
She's had a bottle of it and came out and
I was like, who are you.

Speaker 6 (42:00):
You're not that you're saying that it's a cur al no,
but that she was sick. Yeah, then she drink the drink. Yes,
seeing she's one hundred percent fine. Now you can draw
your own conclusions, but we're not saying.

Speaker 4 (42:14):
That's like a leg is still around for some times,
so we just have to be careful with that.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (42:20):
Sure, Nelson toothless now, Pugs toothless, not anymore, honestly, be
as a broadcasting standards authority, they've been shut down. They've
got a little bit of time left. Do you think
they care about anything now that comes over their desk?
We can do whatever we want.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
Yeah, you're worried about it. It was like it was
like before you went away to Vietnam that last couple
of weeks, you know what I mean, And it was
just like you didn't you went into it, man. You
were just like, whatever, I'm off to Vietnam, man for
three weeks. Yeah, you know what I mean. Huge sporting events.

(42:56):
Sporting weekend.

Speaker 6 (43:00):
In mine.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
We've got mate Lane head of the ACC coming and
next fellows.

Speaker 6 (43:03):
Bloody excited.

Speaker 4 (43:06):
That's a huge sporting event. Having Lena.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Yeah, totally.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Here's Weezer the Darchy Big Show weekdays from four on
Radio Hodarchy System of.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
A down there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show this
Friday evening, thirteen minutes past six o'clock. And it's not
often fellas that I'm furious, isn't it. It's not often
that old hoodie j gets angry. I'm a pretty mallow,
happy go lucky, Happy go lucky. You know what kind

(43:36):
of take life as it comes. You have your ups,
you have your downs, well, you know, but and you
just carry on, man, you just carry on. But I
am fuman. I am fhuman. We were meant to be
doing a comprehensive sporting review of what's coming up sport
wise this weekend. With that in mind, Pug's on its

(44:00):
giners ever had organized with Mike Lane, the head of
the ACC, to come in at this time to talk
us through it and what's happened? Make you have a guess?
Have a guess? What's happened now?

Speaker 6 (44:11):
As I understand that one of the team is celebrating
an anniversary of many many years here at enzied Me
and so they've been celebrating with a few afternoon bruskis, Yes,
so Lamee was meant to be in here. I believe
at four thirty. We now find ourselves around about quarter
past six. At one stage there you texted on Pagsan

(44:32):
and said, so we'll see you at four thirty. He's
sent back a question mark.

Speaker 5 (44:36):
No.

Speaker 6 (44:37):
I don't know whether it meant what are you talking about?
Or what day of the week is it, but either
way he didn't know what was going on. Now he's
wondering in here, he's got a bit of commentary to do.
What im my understandings, that's right, and that'll be something
to behold. I recommend you tune in wherever you are,
wherever you're going to be watching or listening to Crusaders

(44:58):
v Blues this evening. Look responsibly, he's mullocked.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Yeah, you know, and just to sort of reiterate the point,
they've just been doing a full blooded harker in the
acc studios there. I don't know what that was an
aid of, but it was just a spontaneous I think
it was for probably for Jojo.

Speaker 4 (45:21):
Yeah, if I can just speak to this fellas.

Speaker 5 (45:23):
He actually turned up maybe like half an hour ago,
and I went out there and I thought you know,
just check to see if he's.

Speaker 4 (45:30):
You know, still, you know, like he's late. But we
got time. This is the break, you know, we get
him on here.

Speaker 5 (45:36):
And I went out there and I looked at him
and he said, oh we And I said no, no,
I think we're just looking at Canning.

Speaker 4 (45:42):
It just testing the waters.

Speaker 5 (45:43):
And he said, good because I am responsibly busied in
one way or another.

Speaker 6 (45:49):
He said that.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
So with that in mind, I don't know what's going
on the Blues versus a Crusaders tonight.

Speaker 4 (45:57):
I believe he's a sports chat.

Speaker 6 (45:59):
Well, I mean it's going to be pretty lame, but
ye played the Stone. Yeah, I want to want to
watch rugby. Well you're in luck because tonight super rugby,
Pacifi caar the Crusaders are playing the blue seven o'clock
down the What are we calling that? The Steamer? What
is it? What's the new stadium? Quarters have got a nickname?

Speaker 2 (46:19):
You, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (46:20):
It's normally something out of the kitchen. We've got the
caked and the Steamer. There'll be a good game, i'd imagine.
And I also believe it's sold out. Yes, so people
were interested in going along to the rugby when it
was just the rugby, but now it's in a nice stadium.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
They want to get along and it's covered, I believe too,
even though it's going to be pissing down there.

Speaker 6 (46:35):
Yeah man, nine thirty five tonight the Reds feed the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (46:39):
Okay is that right? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (46:41):
Yeah? And then there's Highlanders tomorrow and one Hurricanes and
Brumby's Force Yeah, okay, around it all out? How good?

Speaker 2 (46:50):
Oh no, there was bye this week? Yere, they've got
a how good?

Speaker 6 (46:57):
They get two points? Mate? Just like that doge doos
arsenal is before we go into Magic Round next week
when they're going to play the Broncos, who were riddled
with injuries. We're going to be there, Fellers. Interesting chat
coming out of the wars. Luky Metcalf looks like he
might be trying to get out of his contract right
signed last year for a pretty hefty fee. He's got
another couple of years left on that contract, but given

(47:18):
the way that Tenor Boyd and Chanelle Harris to Vita
have been going, looks like he's going to try and
leave and go to another cluboy because he just wants
to play half back and he's not prepared to wait
so God bless him.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Yeah, fair enough, fair enough Fellers, Hey is it?

Speaker 5 (47:34):
You know?

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Because with the Magic Round coming up? Well it's next week,
bloody hell Yeah. The two games where we've watched the
Warriors in the Magic Round, is it fair to say
we've been underdogs?

Speaker 6 (47:45):
I can't remember who the second game was. I think
we might have been favorite last year. It might have
been Cowboys. Was a good game, actually, wasn't it? Yes?
I vaguely remember being there and then and certainly this
year we will be favorites. So we will be favorite.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Yeah, which worries me?

Speaker 6 (48:02):
Well, I'll be honest with you, it doesn't worry me.
We should win it, and we're good enough team to
win it. And if we're seriously going to be contenders
this year, then we will win it. Yeah man, So yeah,
I'm looking for it. This is not the Warriors of O. Look,
there's every chance I'll bugger it up, but we're going
to find out live and then we'll find out about
it the next day when we wake up. Yeah man.

Speaker 1 (48:22):

Wow, wow, yeah, that's next year, I think right.

Speaker 6 (49:06):

force nineteen sixty six, yeah, which got me to thinking
that that would be sixty years, which would mean to
be our birthday.

a couple of dudes go out for it for a cigg.

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Also, Pugs hello, Yeah, I cannot this is genuine. I
cannot tell you how much this has triggered me. Has
brought in a packet of Vietnamese cigarettes and a dinky
and then to explain to the punters, we're not we're

(49:52):
not promoting cigarettes to make a terrible habit awful. But
the Vietnamese cigarettes are smaller than your standy cigarette, They're
more dinky, they're more delicate twice, and so I'm like massive,
I've got two backbones out there puffing away. I've got
Pugs with his little pet right there.

Speaker 6 (50:11):
So just for clarity, Hoody has given up tobacco pro
products for the month of May. We've got a bet

Speaker 2 (50:37):
He handed them to me and went sniff.

Speaker 6 (50:39):
Those got people standing outside the glass here holding up
literally behind you. Jas. You couldn't even see them holding
up darts. Yes, so yeah, man, I mean she's this
shock and he got pigs on over here is wearing
a T shirt that says seeking cigarette on it. I
found very triggering, very much. T shirt has made me
want to not just have a cigarette, but get it

(51:00):
for the whole weekend.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
But just just to clarify, I mean, you're not going
out there. I mean if you go out there, oh
and you punch your dark I mean that.

Speaker 6 (51:08):
I mean no, to be clear, I'm one hundred percent
going out there and then I'm going to come back
in here wreaking of darks.

I don't condone.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
The only thing that saves me from from breaking here
is that they're melon flavored. So I go, well, okay,
I mean that's foul. That's they are.

Speaker 4 (51:38):
They are the capsules. You don't have to have them be.
