Scrumedly obtious Magie, Maggie Magie. Normally Mogi wears a short
sleeved T shirt to work. Today he's gone for a
very stylish long slip. Is it a new shirt, Mogi?
Is it new?
Speaker 5 (00:54):
I've had it for a while, but I don't wear
it very often. Cheerz Yeah, special occasions. B I'll be
honest with you. It's a bit of a tricky one
because for everyone at home there it's sort of a
long sleeve Marino black sort of long sleeve tea, I guess,
but walland so slightly different, a bit of a sweater,
a thin sweater of you skivvy if you'd allowed not a.
Speaker 6 (01:17):
Skivvy, no skivvy.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
The problem with it, Jason is in the right light
you get to see my nipples totally. So that's why
I've got a singleer on underneath. Yeah, well, kick things
on track today, man, we've got a job to do.
It can have you drawn all over your bloody computerity,
you're bastard too late.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
But it looks great mate, and it's still really you know,
hugging that body. But you're good.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Otherwise, can I just throw a kikahar out to the
south coast of Wellington? Be huge swells down the five
and a half meters a few years ago today ten
and eleven meat as well, So yeah, you wouldn't want
to be on the south coast. They're having a great
time down in Wellington over the last probably a year
or two. So you get into the pub, treat yourself.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
You're good on you're speaking of huge swells. I tell
you what wild pugs are? Hello, very very open chested
today with us. What is that Tata fly or something?
Yeah fly, But geez, you're looking pretty sharp as well.
There are pugs on how's life?
Speaker 6 (02:23):
Hey? Thanks Jase? Really good.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Thanks, grateful to be here with you fellas as always
wish it were a bitter circumstances obviously keasy.
Speaker 6 (02:29):
Oh yeah, he got fired exactly that. That's a little
bit the poor baker he was.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
I want to be quite clear, he wanted to come in,
but we said no because we don't want to get sick.
Speaker 6 (02:43):
Well certainly that was my Yeah, I feeling I don't
care about getting set to stick at the drop of
the hat and then I'm off for a god damn month.
I hate it. Jase, how are you man?
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Very good? Thank you. I'll tell you what I did
today which has made the world of difference to my life.
I bought some extra strength Gavis Gone.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
When I had a little gulp of that, God, I
feel a hundred.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Bucks a hundred bucks.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
You know, the burning's gone temporarily.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
So in later in the show. But yeah, I think
you need to consider going to the doctor.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
That's what my wife said too. I got into a
herd of an argument about it.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
You're going quite immediately.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Hey Mogi, what's coming up on the show.
Speaker 6 (03:37):
What's happening on the Big show with old mogis.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Another day, another opportunity to get yourself in for the
latest tour, the Export Ultra Beer Guard and tour. That is,
they're going to a Grand final in Australia and around
about October. If you can work out the sport, it's
going to be bloody good time. Stay tuned for that one.
They'll be a cue to call and you'll give us
a buzz. Also, I'm really excited about this. Has been
a sports player, a big sports player, formerly a big
(04:04):
sports player who's come out as gay. Yes, he's a
rugby league player. This never happens. This never happens. Imagine
my joy when I wake up this morning and a
rugby league player has come out as gay. Absolutely over
the moon. We're going to go over that and talk
about this, gentleman. We'll tell you who that is later
on the show and coming up next. Houghty Joe, you're
feeling a bit jealous, an't you, mate?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (04:25):
I am, because Keysy's got a hog. Mogie's got a
new massive hog, old Hoidy j hogless SAMs hog. So
we're going to talk about whether you should get a
hog and what kind of a hog you should get.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah, sounds good man. In the meantime, let's have a
bit of the things Leon, Why don't we Juey.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Darchy.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Stink first, Stink first tool there on your on the
Radio hod Archy The Big Show. This Tuesday afternoon, my wife.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
And I went down there.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
My wife went down the aisld of that just stink fist.
Speaker 6 (05:07):
Yeah, when she was marrying you stink fist. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I actually thought about having stink Fest for my wedding,
but my wife wasn't keen on it. Actually, No, No, dear,
now listen, as Mogie mentioned at the top of the
show there, I'm sort of feeling a little bit left
out at the moment. Yes, because I always consider the
Big Show team a team. Yes, and you'll be aware
(05:36):
of the fact from yesterday's conversation that old Mogie and
Kesey now are proud hole owners.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
They both own motorbikes. And I'm going hang about here,
it can't be that the two fellows have motorbikes and
old Hardy J doesn't. Yes, And so I've been thinking,
you know, does Horty J need to get a hole
in his own?
Speaker 6 (05:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (05:58):
Well that's right. I mean, so Keysy has got an old.
I think it's a cowa Saki.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah, it was a it's a Kawasaki.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Honda two fifty ccs. Yes, that's cubic inches. And he's
been working on that one. When I say hey, I
mean his Dadad. He's been working on that one for
about nine months or so. And I'm just about to
get myself a street dog. And that's an electric bike.
(06:27):
And you can have it painted with anything you want, Yes,
custom paint. It's on the side of that.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
I'll get him stink first.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Yeah, nice, that right on the side there. So then
the question becomes what can Hoidy j have. Now there's
a few different options. Obviously. I just got a hold
of my mother's electric bicycle a little step through number,
and I thought, geeze, Jason loved this. But just having
a little look at it today, I don't think your
feet would reach the pedals.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, well, your mum's a very tall, elegant woman. If
I can put it like that, you're very tall too.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
The locals are in her neighborhood referred to as a freak.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah, somewhat cruelly, I would say. But here's the thing, Fellas,
you've gone kind of low key power wise, Yes, Keysy's
kind of low key power wise in the middle of there.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
He's sort of in the middle two point fifty for
someone of his abilities.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
As you know, I.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Feel like haughty Jane needs to go full noise hog.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
I agree, but loud Hog.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Then you couple it with the fact that I'm a
CBD boy now, and so you know, I'm just in
the inner city. I'm just sort of walking around the streets.
Would a massive motorbike be really suitable for me? I mean,
don't get me wrong, and there's some fat motorbikes cruising
around the city at night. Yes, But would that be
a practical solution for houghty j or am I looking
(07:53):
for something else?
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Is it practical or you're going to be Are you
trying to be cool and hanging out with me and Keezy?
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Look, I'm trying to I'm trying to be cool so
that I can hang out with you and Keezy. But
I also there's an element of me, and I'll be
honest about it, that wants to upstage you both a
little bit, to be to be the big dog.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
And that's why I think you should do it. So
whether it's a good idea or not, I think you
should go the bigger the better. Yeah, I mean we
have you and I throwing around that tossed around the
idea previously of putting you in a sidecar, just checking
a little sidecar on my literal bike.
Speaker 6 (08:25):
I still think there's something to that. We've considered you.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
Going full e t and we slam you on a
basket on the front and just toss a towel over
your head. I also think there's something to that.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Can you imagine? Can I just paint a picture here
of Mogi cruising along on his electric bike with hoiding
Jay in a basket on the front, with a towel
over his head, with stink fest along the side of
electric bike. What a sight that would be?
Speaker 6 (08:56):
And I think we need to be a gang.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
And I think this is what I'm so open to
the idea because two does not a gang maketh yes,
but three does. Yeah, And then we can start throwing
around patch ideas. And what's the name of the gang? Ah,
this is stink has got a ring to it?
Speaker 3 (09:14):
Yes, Well, this is where we need Joe out because
I am picking that a lot of our listeners out
there have more knowledge in houghdy j when it comes
to motorbikes. Yes, I mean I'd like their recommendations. What
I should get, what should be on it? Accessories, what's
it a paint job? It should have all of that stuff.
On three four eight, three.
Speaker 6 (09:35):
And oh one hundred Hodarchy as well.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
And if you get in touch, everybody goes in the
drawer for a fifty buck rebig voucher.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
What kind of hog should Jace run?
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Looking forward to this.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
The hod Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Yes, indeed radio Head there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
Show this Tuesday to noon. The time is exactly twenty
eight minutes past four o'clock.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Hey, fellas, don't forget that Q to call for the
Export Ultra Grand Final Beer Garden Tour is coming up
on the show. If you want the chance to join Jerry,
Meniah and acc accg acc Head g Lane on the
Beer Garden Tour. Doesn't have that Q to call and
you could begin amongst with the fellas call us an
oh one hundred Hodaki when you hear it.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Great stuff, Pugsan, Thanks thanks man. We were chatting just
before about the fact that old Mogi and Kezy they
are both proud hole owners. Now they both got motorbikes
and Hoody Jay's feeling a little bit left out. And
as Moggie rightly pointed out, if you want to have
a gang, two's not enough, you've got to have three.
(10:46):
So we put it out there to people on three
four eight three what sort of hog should Hoardy j
run with? Because I'm kind of thinking, because Mogi and
Kezy have gone kind of low power hogs, that I
go full power hog. Yeah, even though there's not particularly practical,
but I'd look really cool.
Speaker 5 (11:04):
Yeah, I think it's I think it's the way forward
for you men. And there's nothing quite as impressive as
a sort of a little hogg all looking bassard hanging
off the back of a four hundred c See, now,
you would look amazing to it. I'm just seeing you
in the leathers, yes, I'm seeing you in the open
face helmet. You know you've got the big boots on,
(11:25):
you got the tassels hanging off the handlebars.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
I mean yeah, I seriously just had a vision of
me on a massive hog, stopping in my feet, not
being able to touch the ground. You men just falling
over genuinely.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Oh, I've got a vision of you on the motorway
and you get to one hundred and suddenly you're just
hanging on that.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Flapping out the back. We've had a bunch of tecks
on three for three.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Don't forget everyone in the drawer for a fifty dollars reburger. Actually,
they've kind of delved between what accessories you should have
on the bike what kind of bike you should get
at scientific or actual mechanical answer, So obviously was sticking
on the serious stuff. Jace could have my stiffy written
on as hog nice, which I think is pretty bang on.
Another gang name suggestion, the inground toenails. It's creative, think
(12:18):
Fanny Hog et cetera, et cetera. When surely has to
have fist full.
Speaker 6 (12:22):
Of jeers on the side a machine song. That's great,
fist full of jews.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
I quite like the REBIGLZ. That's a great name for
a bike gang. Someone else said a five C C Trikehi, you.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Know you could, yeah, you could hang.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
You know, A three wheeler would be pretty cool.
Speaker 6 (12:50):
Now we're talking.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
They called it, what's a three wheel bike?
Speaker 6 (12:55):
What's a trick?
Speaker 7 (12:57):
You know?
Speaker 5 (12:58):
Or a trisyckle, but you want something with a motor
on it. There are the handlebars, there are they the
suicide suicide bars or that they thought spaghy.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Yeah, that you sort of see the gang. Dude, You've
got your.
Speaker 6 (13:14):
In the air for the people listening.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yeah, your head, which is good because then you could
rest your sort of honker in the middle of it.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Jason, you go, Ja's come on, pug Killing But I
think it's a go. I think I think you're onto
something here, and I think you do need to do it.
We don't want you feeling, you know, feeling left out.
So what's better than feeling left out, risking, you know,
your life trying to be included.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Look just on that front. I mean, if there's any
sort of bicycle bike companies out there that you know,
thanks Old Hoidy j would look really cool on one
of their bikes. I mean, feel free to get in
touch maybe private message Old pug Son, because we don't
want to make it a radio thing. Just we can
do it sort of under the too.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Late already radio th the Whodichy Big Show from four
on Radio Holdkyes indeed.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Blink one A two there on the Radio Hodarky Big
Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is four point thirty nine.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
Fellas, you'll be aware that I got a cat at Christmas?
What my daughter did? Yes, bird shit Chris Chris is
the name of my cat, inspired by Kesey, who's not
here today because he's sick. Yes, Cheesy's nickname at score
was bird ship Chris for years.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
For years that was his nickname.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
Birds are always him. Were you see him? Let him
know anyway.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
Great cat. It's one of those big white buggers. There's
a name for it, but it sort of loves hanging
around the house and getting paired that it doesn't attack
too much. It's great for a young kid. We've got
a six year old. So I'm really loving the cat
outside of it waking me up at all hours. But
there's just been some stuff going on over the last
little week or so which is making me think that
(15:01):
I'm this.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
Cat's favorite, you know what I mean, Yes, my favorite.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
I mean I think this cat likes me as more
than friends, wants to be more than friends.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
With an animal.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
May personally know.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
You love animals A pugs me, Yeah, yeah, I love them.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
Everybody is saying that you're an animal lover. Is that true?
Speaker 8 (15:26):
I am an animal lover as you were.
Speaker 6 (15:29):
Anyway, I'll tell you.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
I'll tell you sort of what's been going on around
the joint.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Now.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
The other day I was on a bed Sunday morning.
There the cat comes and I'm ready the newspaper. The
cat comes in and sort of jumps, and my wife
goes to pat the cat. The cat just a tax
her absolutely goes and scratching her face, going her eyes,
and my wife's terrified.
Speaker 6 (15:53):
But I'm like, it's all good, it's all good.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
It's just, you know, it takes a while to you know,
for a cat to come to like everybody in.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
The house, it does.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
How long have you had the cat? Almost? Well since
Christmas New Year's Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. My wife
takes a bit of getting to know, you know.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Well, see, as you were saying, my face, she canna
be a bit prickly. Well.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
The thing about animals is they can see. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
Have you ever seen like a movie where let's say
Satan's involved somehow and the cat knows. Yeah, okay, we'll
just leave that there. Yes, the cat gets into the
crook of my arm. Now I'm topless, and.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
The cat sort of nestles into the crook of my arm,
and it's sort of looking up at me, just peering
as loud as you like, just absolutely loving it. Nice
went out of the corner of its eye. What is it?
Spot one of my nibbles?
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Sorry, my left nibble nipple. And I I know that
Kesey gets a lot of jap about his massive meat
patty naps, but you've got some pretty elongated nibbles as well.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
It was a cold it was the right temperature, man,
But whatever it was, the caught the eye of birdshit Chris. Anyway,
I give it a couple of pets. I go back
to reading the paper. There next thing, you know, the
old birdchick Chris is just looking licking the Bejesus out
of a nibble there.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
Helpfully it So after about ten or fifteen minutes, I
think this.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Is weird, and my wife thought that after about three seconds.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
The whole Archy Big Shit Weekdays from four on Radio HODK.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Giggy Pump there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
Tuesday afternoon. The time is four point fifty three. Let's
talk TV. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Hey, I watched another one of those untold documentaries.
Speaker 6 (18:23):
This one was about Jamie Vardi.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
He's a footballer who was going through the system I
think in Sheffield, I'll be honest. I watched this about
a week or so ago. I forgot most of it.
And he was going up through the system in Sheffield
and was going pretty well, and then his coaches said, look,
you're not going to be a football you're too small, mate.
Speaker 6 (18:46):
But they said it with a Sheffield.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
Accent, Right, Okay, you're good like that, and so he
sort of stopped. He kept on playing, but he sort
of gave up his dream of playing professional football, which
is what he'd always wanted to do. So he just
sort of had a factory job and he go and
played football. And he was just playing for the local team,
which is sort of nine divisions away from the Premier League.
(19:12):
Well then, I believe it was two and a half
or three seasons he had won the Premier League. So
he played for his team. He kept on putting up
and up and up a division, kept on playing. This
comment to him that he was never going to be
a footballer, a professional footballer, completely ruined any confidence that
he had. So I just didn't think it was possible
at all. But he kept on playing and he was
(19:34):
really good, so he kept on getting promoted and promoted
and promoted and winning all these things and getting promoted
un to be finally ended up playing for I can't
remember who, and they won the league. I think it
wasn't Chelsea. It was something like that though, but within
an incredibly short amount of time.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
And I think maybe it was Tottenham. And when they
got up to the Premier League, not only it was
impossible for him to even make it into the Premier League.
It never been done before that someone went from that
division into the Premier League. When he got into that team,
they were in the division down below, one division back,
and then they went into the Premier League and they
(20:09):
were at five thousand to one, five thousand to one
to win the Premier League. Spoiler alert they won the
Premier League. Wow, unbelievable. A great, great yarn massive, massive
alcoholic okay, drag abuse, aw.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Those sorts of things. Just had no faith in himself.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
You see a really interesting guy, a great, great watch,
three and a half busies out of a possible.
Speaker 6 (20:33):
Five great great, anything's possible, fellas.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
That's true. Man, One of the unbelievable players. Right.
Speaker 6 (20:40):
Other than that, you've got no.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
Hope, Fellas. I started watching a show on Netflix called
The Whitness, based on a true story when Rachel Nichol
was murdered in Wimbledon Common in nineteen seventy two.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
Andrew hanskmb I was watching this last night, and I
didn't recognize that when you told me off.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Here became a single period of the night with their
two year old son as the sole witness to her murder.
Andre fights to protect him amid a flawed investigation. Yes,
I don't know whether it's just fatigue with these kind
of shows. I mean, it's a terribly tragic story, and
I think there's also a documentary about the same thing.
(21:20):
This is a dramatization.
Speaker 6 (21:22):
I was watching the documentary.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Right, okay, on Rotten Tomatoes. I don't know that I
trust Rotten Tomatoes.
Speaker 8 (21:30):
No, it's not as highly regarded these days.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Look, it's it just didn't grab me. I'll be honest
with you. It's passable. None of the performances, particularly of
the lead who I can't remember his name. I don't
know who he is. I've never already seen him before
as an actor. Cool was particularly great, and as I say,
I think maybe it was just that kind of genre fatigue. Yes,
(21:55):
and I'll give it two buzzies out of five. The
Witness I recommended not.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
Really No, Well I'm i am, as I say, watching
the documentary. I'm almost finishing it, so i'll review that tomorrow.
But geez, she's a brutal bastard.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Was it was a shocking horrory. I should probably give
it more busies, but I can't as I steer at
pugsns busies.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Hey, after six, your chance to get yourself in the
drawer for the Expert Ultra Grand Final Beer Garden tor
to head along to Sydney for the Grand Final with
the Fellers.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Thanks mate, the.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
Whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
in week days at four on Radio Hood.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
I can welcome back your massive backbones. Hope your Tuesday's
going along, okay, lo Kezy today is feeling a bit
under the weather as he feels he is. You're listening
to the Big Show brought to you by reboog.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
You crave worthy street food, freshly made every boogiear.
Speaker 8 (22:51):
Yeah yea yea y y y ya ya ya yeah.
Speaker 6 (22:53):
Man, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Well, I was just seeing the pugsans eating. He's got
this little tapawi container, and I thought it was like
a homemade sort of bar of some description, because you'd
be into that wooden you pugsand making making made barre,
making your own homemade sort of whole nut sort of
grain bar with bits of fruit and cranberry and stuff, isn't.
Speaker 8 (23:18):
It If I knew the first thing about making one,
one hundred would be.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
In there a little menda and he has this little
All of you fellows do it, I'm the only one
that doesn't. I know, Kesy not so much either. You
have your little food parcels that you bring from home,
don't you know?
Speaker 6 (23:35):
That's true.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
It's a great way to get decent food. You're not
wasting money, You're not eating garbage. I haven't done it
for a while. I've been hanging out the back of
it sushi a bit.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Yeah. Yeah, you were shocking today.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
By the way, man, you bought me a skewer as well,
and he literally threw it in my face.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
I did. I just had half a bar and me
with my wife, so I was full to the gills.
Now listen, speaking of my wife. Coming up next, I
want to have a little chat about what happened in
a cafe with my wife today. I'm still steaming about it.
I'm furious. All right, we'll get into that next.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
And that cue to call for you to go along
to the Export Ultra Grand Final Beer Garden Tours happening
this hour.
Speaker 7 (24:21):
Stay Jim his.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Sound Garden, the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 6 (24:26):
Tune in and four on radio.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Yes, indeed, l a menop there on the radio Hodarchy
Big Show this Tuesday evening. The time is fourteen minutes
past five o'clock. Now you recall this fellas I think
it was on the podcast outro yesterday. We were having
a little chat about the great coffee controversy that happened
to me many years ago in my home. And the
(24:50):
basic sort of story was that, after twenty odd years
of making my wife coffee, she complained to me one
morning that I made the coffees too hot? Could I
not make them so hot?
Speaker 5 (25:01):
That's right, I remember it well. I don't think it
was years ago that this came up. It was early
last year or the year before, Yes, fairly recently, but yeah,
and I remember at the time you were few men.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Well, this is the thing. We'll hang on this is
this is the thing. And then you guys came around
to my house for a come dining, come dine with
Me experience, and we were talking about that particular story,
and my wife, unbelievably.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
Yes, ah, completely credibly made the joke.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Oh yes, and he sulked for two days after that
particular incident where she criticized my coffee.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
She was literally saying that you then were in such
a hor of asuki lala that you stopped around the
house the next two days and remained storm did not
talk silent treatment. Yeah, And I found that very very interesting.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
Such bs and true story. Here's what happened today. My
wife and I went to a cafe, lovely new cafe
by away there in Lawn Street, and I'm having this
great coffee and I said, jeez, I'll tell you what, babe,
me and the fellows. We're having this funny chat. You say,
I remember the great coffee controversy and she was like,
(26:15):
oh yeah, vaguely and I said, oh no, that time
where you said that I made the coffees too hot
and she said I never said that, And I went
what And she said, I never said you made the
coffees too hot, And I went, what do you mean?
And she said no, I said you made them too frothy.
Could I have less froth in my coffee? I never
(26:37):
said they were too hot. And I was like, no,
you didn't, and she said no, I did. That's what
I said. I said it was too frothy. And I said, well,
let that go. I said, well, anyway, that's not what
we're having a chuckle about. What we were having a
chuckle about was the BS that you said about how
I sulked for two days after that particular incident, and
(26:59):
there's a little and she said that wasn't BS, And
I went, what do you mean? And she said, you
did sold for two days. You didn't speak to me
for two days. You just stomped around the house for
two days and said nothing. And I said no, no, no, no, no, no,
(27:21):
hang on, that's not what happened. That's just BS. That
was just you. That was you showing off your comedy chops.
And she was like, no, totally. You were sulking for
two days and you didn't say a word to me,
or because I said that there was too much froth
in the coffee, and suffice to say, a storm out
(27:42):
of the cafe and I left her to pay. This
is what happens when people start rewriting history. You know
what I mean. It's all a big joke. It's all
a big joke. And then all of a sudden people
believe that's what happened, and you know, it's just all BS.
(28:04):
A's BS man, it never happened. I've never had a
situation with my wife that's gone on for two days. Look,
I'll sulk every now and then for half an hour,
an hour. I'll get over myself, even if she's in
the wrong, I'll get over myself.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
All right, two days is absolute BS. It's BS Fellas.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hdarky.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Yous There on the Radio Hodarchy. Big Show this Tuesday evening.
The time twenty five minutes past five o'clock.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
Fellas, it's a hell of a time to be alive.
Last night, some big news out of Australia. Finally we've
got another gay rugby league player. Yes, enough of them
in my lifetime. There's only ever been one Ian Roberts
who played for Manly. Yes, and he was an absolute
bruiser of a feller. He's actually on Sports Cafe last
(29:12):
week they were talking to him, was he and he
is still absolutely ripped a bit, absolute monster.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
Of a feller.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
He was a unit well it still is he. He
was a mammoth beast.
Speaker 5 (29:22):
Yeah, and people would sort of chuck the chuck the
odd slurred him in the ruck. You know, you get tackled,
et cetera, et cetera. Then Ian Roberts would stand up
and absolutely belt the hell out of him, and before
you knew it, nobody was saying anything to him anymore.
Speaker 6 (29:37):
It was as good as going well.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Last night Caine Evans came out and what is a
really pretty inspiring interview on one of the rugby league
channels over there. I just want to preempt this by saying,
there's a little bit of we're going to play some audio.
There's a bit of a reference to suicides. Have you
got people around that are sensitive to those sorts of things,
(30:00):
be aware of that, maybe turn it off. But this
is a guy who played he played for six what
six massive prop front rower. He played for the Sydney Roosters,
then he went to the Parameter Eels, then he came
to the Warriors on a two year deal. We played
fourteen games for us. We got rid of him because
he kept on punching people in the head. And then
(30:21):
he went over to the UK and what was happening
behind the scenes was he was getting he was struggling
with who he was and so he turned to alcohol
and drugs and over the sort of the last year
and a half, in all honesty, he became a bit
of a punch punchline because he was trying to get
(30:41):
into I think the UFC or backyard brawls. He was
really getting online and doing some pretty hairy stuff. But
in this interview last night you got to see what
was going on, and we've got a bit of audio here.
Speaker 7 (30:53):
Three goals in life, and it was to play an orol,
to buy parents are house, and then I was going
to top myself.
Speaker 6 (31:09):
Because I was living in the nah. Yeah, and that was.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
Because he was gay and he had no idea how
to come out. Absolute insanity.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
It's interesting, isn't it, do you think? Because it seems
to me now in the world people are much more
comfortable with that is much more, you know, a normal
thing now, But of course back in the day, you know,
people had who they were, because you know they were
persecuted in many respects. But do you think the sporting
element of it, you know, rugby legue, tough sort of men,
(31:48):
you know, just as part of it.
Speaker 5 (31:52):
And when you look at it from his point of view,
he goes, you know, he can think of himself. I
might come out. You look around and go, who else
has come out? Well, nobody for thirty years, yes, and
so it's not sort of super welcoming. They had a
big thing thing at Manly a few years ago where
the players refuse to wear the Pride jersey. They didn't
play a game, they've got stripped of points and they
like missing the finals because of it. So this is
(32:13):
still very much on the surface but absolutely insane. I
just want to really just a huge kudos to Caine
Evans for coming out. He's been sober I think for
about four or five months now and he's dealing with
this and coming out, and I think he's going to
find a whole lot of support. I just think, you know,
if you're out there going through this sort of thing,
(32:33):
I think the struggles that you go through internally and
in your mind are going to be a hell of
a lot worse than what you find when you actually
come out. You will fight, You might find people that
attack you, but you will undoubtedly get a hell of
a lot more support than you will get detractors. So
a huge reptor Caine Evans for doing this. You know
what I really want to see now is I want
to see this is once again rugby league is just
(32:54):
destroying rugby Union. Where are our gay all blacks. I'd
like to lay down a chair challenge to all of
our all blacks out there, present and past. Come out,
come out of the closet.
Speaker 6 (33:06):
We know you're there.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
You've been beating too nil by rugby League at the moment.
Come out and get a victory. And they's have more
out players or former players than rugby league.
Speaker 6 (33:15):
You can do this. You can do it tonight, A
lady on the challenge.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Welcome back in as Backbones. Hope your Tuesday's going off
as they say. You're listening to the Big Show brought

Speaker 3 (33:57):
Correct speaking watch what are you having for dinner? There
making no idea.
Speaker 5 (34:01):
Well, it's a good question. We were going to have
a mate over, but she can't make it anymore, so
that's not going to happen. But the problem, I'm good
is my wife's probably made something because the friend was
coming over. Keeping in mind that I've had about three
killers of sushi in the last two hours, so it's
going to be hard for me.
Speaker 6 (34:19):
To Yes, guy's my complete lack of appetite.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
Yeah, so yeah, that'll be good. I'll walk into that.
I don't know, chicken and probably chicken. Yeah, probably chicken.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Sure, a bit of a here we go, boiled tofu.
Hot pop for you, Pugs and hot probly good.
Speaker 6 (34:38):
First of all, that sounds mean.
Speaker 4 (34:39):
Ever since I had hot pop for the first time
the other night, well, I had it for the first
time in Vietnam obviously, the.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
First time I had it in Auckland, I haven' stopped
thinking about it. I need to go back. I had
a sish one pepper hot pot same here, well not
he had a better one.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
Good and you'll be proud of me. Pucks and I
had tofu in it? Did you really unbelieve football? You know?
The fried tofu the brown?
Speaker 6 (35:03):
You know what I mean I do.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
There's bloody good. It soaks up the flavor. There. What
am I having for dinner?
Speaker 6 (35:09):
Something delicious? I don't even tell you what I am,
but I assume.
Speaker 4 (35:12):
Yeah, Jason, I'm having bangers a mesh tonight, vegetarian bangers obviously.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
Oh yeah, no, and that's the best kind of bang.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
I'm having spinach and feed of pie, some stuffed mushrooms,
vegetarian stuffed mushrooms, and roasted Brussels sprouts.
Speaker 6 (35:40):
Your vegetarian dinners.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
And there's a fully vegetarian dinner. We try to do
that every now and then.
Speaker 6 (35:46):
I've got to do that more. Actually, it's good stuff
and pie though.
Speaker 8 (35:51):
I'm under that it's yeah, yeah, I got pile like.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Chili saucer over it. Yeah. Hey, here's block party.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 3 (36:04):

Tuesday evening. But right now it's time four.
Speaker 6 (36:11):

Speaker 3 (36:15):

Speaker 8 (36:22):
Man with me, Hugson, I'm not having d having vegetarian bags.
Speaker 6 (36:31):
Send you a text on three for three.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
Every one of these that you hear right now is
in the drawer for a fifty dollars rebig gear voucher.
Speaker 6 (36:37):
Delicious te Tonight fell They even said their name. Should
I even read it? Should I even read it? Anonymous?
Speaker 7 (36:43):
Here?
Speaker 6 (36:44):
Delicious te Tonight fellas suitable for a cold welcome? Oh
Jack here me off?
Speaker 4 (36:50):
Yeah, it is delicious t Tonight fellas so suitable for
a cold welling tonight chicken leak and mushrooms strogging off
with some creamy mesh potatoes that.
Speaker 8 (36:59):
Is sold warm up.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Yeah, I'm actually into that.
Speaker 6 (37:02):
That all sounds delicious. Do you like Do you like
a big pie?
Speaker 3 (37:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (37:07):
Good theater?
Speaker 5 (37:11):
Yeah here you know, like a chicken pie, a fish pie, yes,
a beef and mushroom pie.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
We bought at the pane Our markets the other day.
Speaker 6 (37:24):
We bought a panel that's where pigs sort of creeps
a bit.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
Yeah, you can't. A beef and port a fino mushroom
and truffle pie. It was so good, twenty bucks a
and was a big pie. The issue that we have
in our family is our daughter doesn't really like pies,
and so we never get to eat pies.
Speaker 6 (37:47):
And I'm like, who doesn't like of not liking a pie?
Speaker 3 (37:52):
Crust outrageous pastry? Right, get one, Fellas? Jackson here Pollock?
Speaker 6 (37:58):
Oh nice, Michael, Yes, it's Jackson.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
Michael here gheto Fellas. Tonight, my wife is cooking me
some palou summie.
Speaker 6 (38:07):
It's a some awn dish.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
It's corn beef and coconut cream wrapped in taro leaves
and baked for an hour or something.
Speaker 6 (38:15):
It's not racist just because of the corn beef. And
I hate corn beef. I don't mind it.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
I would give it a nudge.
Speaker 6 (38:26):
A corn beef. I loath the corn beef. The rest
of it sounds all good, but I just can't. I
cannot do it. Actually, just you know what, I remember
walking into the house. You'd walk into the house, yes,
you come home from school.
Speaker 5 (38:38):
You'd open the door, you put down your bag, the
house will be full of steam and you're breathing through
your massive hunkering and.
Speaker 6 (38:44):
God corned beef. Pick up your bag and turn around
and walk out again, and you never go home.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Can I ask as it was it? Because there was
also often in that scenario the waft of cabbage.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
Well yeah, you're probably not wrong there, but also it
was when it was the side of it you boiled
it in a pot, which was you didn't do that
for any other meat, and there was there was the filth,
the ring of filth around the edge of the pot.
Speaker 6 (39:12):
Do you know, Yes, it's a foul concoction. But anyway, enjoy.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
Martie So speak there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
this Tuesday evening.
Speaker 6 (39:28):
Fellers there and dyar.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
You remember that I took a delivery of a whole
bunch of furniture from my mother who's moved into a
retirement village March. She's downsized, yes, and so she's got
a whole lot of surplus stuff that you know, the
vultures were circling.
Speaker 6 (39:47):
So I got, I got all of it, which is
great stuff. Turned up.
Speaker 5 (39:50):
There's a whole bunch of there's a whole Royal Dalton
dinac wow, which it's a coveted sort of a thing,
isn't it Royal Dalton. Yes, it's funny because I think
tastes has certainly changed over the generation. That would be
something that you got at back of the way back
in the day. You get that as your wedding gift. Yes,
(40:11):
silverware and all that sort of stuff, and I don't
know when we'd ever use it, but the girdle sit
in the cabin and gathered does which will be nice.
Something else that's happened is we've got a couch, beautiful couch.
So my mum had a three seed, a big three
seed to catch really deep and a two seed to couch.
Speaker 6 (40:26):
So it was a set.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
But she's got no place for the three seeda ort
a new joint, so so we got it. And at
our house we've got two three seedars that face each
other and they're identical. Yeah right, So ideally we would
have got the three in the two, but mum would
have part with it.
Speaker 6 (40:41):
You know, she can be selfish. Y, Yes, it's pretty selfish.
Speaker 5 (40:45):
So we took one of the three seedars our ones
out and put that downstairs and saws and put her
one in there in its place, and it looks great,
really good, and it sort of works with the other couch.
Speaker 6 (40:55):
I was a bit worried about them not matching, et cetera,
et cetera. Just for a visual hair the color scheme.
Speaker 8 (41:00):
What are we running?
Speaker 5 (41:00):
She's a cream My mother's one as a cream one.
And I would say that the other one is a
very deep blue, very deep blue.
Speaker 6 (41:11):
Long.
Speaker 5 (41:12):
Yeah it's cool, Yeah, it looks really good. However, I
got home and I was worried about what my wife's
opinion was going to be on it, because God knows
mine doesn't matter. Yes, And of course she said, all
that the new couch does is she loves a new couch.
But all it does is show up how old and
rooted the old couch is. So she wants to get
(41:33):
rid of that couch, buy a new couch. So this
old couch that I got for free is now going
to cost me, however, many thousands of dollars.
Speaker 6 (41:43):
Matching condition, matching condition, that's right, that's right. What do
you think about that? Pugs? What do I think about it?
I don't look happy if you say anything about my wife. Mate,
as I'm saying is somebody's in the wrong. Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
I can totally relate to this. It's because I've been
in that exact same scenario where we've got something new, yes,
and it's really styly or whatever, and then my wife
has said the same thing to me, which is that's great,
I really like it, but it's making that look really shitty.
It's like getting a.
Speaker 5 (42:18):
New jacket and oh, well, now I need new boots
and gimmy and everything.
Speaker 6 (42:23):
You you know, you house, your missus, and of.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
The firm opinion, you're better off just having ready as stuff,
not worrying about it, and saving yourself a few coins.
Speaker 8 (42:34):
We know that we've been to yours.
Speaker 6 (42:36):
Oh boy, holy hell, I could just oh.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
The Darky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 3 (42:47):
It is indeed Velvet Revolver there on the Radio Hodarky
Big Show. That's Tuesday evening.
Speaker 6 (42:53):
Radio Hodarchy Day.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
And Lou's getting closer Fellers and it's getting to the
bottom of bell cancer by taking the conversation all the
way up to the top. Thursday, June twenty fifth all
the way from six C and right to the end
of the Big Show. We're going to be broadcasting from
the top of the sky Tower. And when I say we,
I mean the whole Hodaki crew and not the Big
showld Hey, goodness me.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Yeah, it's great stuff. Looking forward to it.
Speaker 6 (43:13):
Fellers, jeez, I hope you've got your training and the adjace.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
Obviously fifteen stories you're going to get fifty one, I
guess technically speaking. But I believe in you, man, We've
been pray. Kezy believes in you with your smoking mate.
Speaker 6 (43:26):
I believe in you.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
Actually, if you believe in Jas ticks lou to three
four eight three for a secure donation.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
Yeah, just on that front, we're just in. We're having
a bit of a chit chat about it because there's
some safety issues.
Speaker 6 (43:38):
That you're going to die half halfway up the first floor.
Speaker 8 (43:43):
Thing where they didn't let your bungee and keysy head
to do it because of your.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Health exactly exactly now.
Speaker 4 (43:50):
And on another note, fellas, I have wondered whether or
not I'm becoming more and more intolerable. Maybe as they
get older, I'm finding myself get really grumpy with stuff,
and so.
Speaker 6 (43:58):
I just say, I hate to interrupt you, mate, Oh thanks.
Intolerant not intolerable what you mean. But intolerant means you
can't tolerate other people. In tolerable means they can't tolerate you. Yeah,
maybe both. Yeah, yeah, I think both. That's right, as
long as you're not wearing your beret. Brother yeah, man.
Speaker 8 (44:17):
Cheers.
Speaker 4 (44:18):
But there's just been a few things lately that I've
sort of been questioning how people are raised in this
great nation of ours. Just three things, and I've seen
the more and more and more in the last couple
of weeks, and I brought it up with a few people.
Nobody's really reacted with the same anger that I have,
but I just I feel like it's totally justified and
wanted to get thoughts. The first one, something that I've
(44:39):
noticed is when I'm trying to go wheeze and the
toilet seat won't stay up. Yeah, and you have to
hold it with your hand and be holding your downstairs
at the same time. I've noticed it on the plane,
I've noticed it in our office toilets out here, and
I've noticed a gym that I go to, And I
just don't really think there's any excuse to have a
(45:00):
toilet that does not function the way that it's designed.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:05):
Well, I mean, let's put the to test you. That's
one of those I Q test. I don't know if
you've seen the film Men in Black, but there's something
something similar happens there where they want to see if
you can think outside the box.
Speaker 6 (45:14):
So they deliberately see it up. So I know what
you mean. You put it up and then it slowly
comes down.
Speaker 5 (45:19):
Then you put it up again and it slowly comes down,
slowly comes down, yes, and then you think it's going
to stay there and it slowly comes down.
Speaker 6 (45:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:26):
So there's a way there that it's just about how
you want to deal with it. I kick it off.
I kicked the seed off.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
You take the whole seed off, You sort of remove it.
Do you put your head out?
Speaker 6 (45:37):
No, because if they want, if they wanted to stay there,
then obviously would stay out.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
I just put it down on that scenario and urinate
all over it.
Speaker 6 (45:47):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (45:48):
So that's those are the options you've got. Now you've
chosen to go for putting your hand on it, which
is disgusted.
Speaker 6 (45:55):
Like I just wash my disgust.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
I don't want your foot if we digits all over
the toilet seat. Pugs' problem, this is the problem. It's like, yeah, sure,
you get to go, you get to leave and wash
your hands. What about that filthy, bloody seat that's been
touching your todd you and has your wheeze all over it?
Speaker 1 (46:16):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
Well there you said, that's the Big Show done and
dust did this Tuesday evening. Great job Pugs covering for
old Keysy there and having to do all the podcasts
and stuff at the same time and run the ship.
Good on your mate, Hey, with that in mind, With
that in mind, were you able to do a podcast
outro clip today?
Speaker 6 (46:44):
I was able to do a podcast outro a club.
Speaker 4 (46:46):
I found that the podcast today was a lot about
city living, sort of an all aspects. We covered I
think the bike thing, and then we also went into
some more sort of encounter stuff.
Speaker 6 (46:54):
Didn't we.
Speaker 4 (46:57):
