he is a shadow of himself. You heard right at
the start the heir He completely missed that. Q. Yes
for re Burger.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
What do you mean I nailed it?

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Wow? How are you going? Geezy? Obviously you had a
massive night last night on the Hammer dress to the
nines at the Pie Awards and from all accounts made
an absolute.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Fool of yourself. What do you mean from all accounts?
Can I just great night? Thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Can I just paint a picture for the audience? And
this is a true picture. It's not me, you know, exaggerating.
Kezy is currently embracing himself, folding my rocking gently back
and forth on his seat. He's a very pale shade
of green. But other than that, you look fine man.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
Thank you, Jase, thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Nice time.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, it really was with it had a great night Pugs.
That Pugs was lovely. We discussed this on the podcast.
He called me and the Uber on the way home
checking up on me there, and you know, it blew
up at.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Him because you had so such a skin fallen you.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
We love just you know, looking after one another here
on the big show. So that was really nice.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
And I was at home eating a mince and cheese
pie at two thirty am.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Can I ask you, Keyzy, you know the time there's
four oh four pm. We've got three hours ago. You're
counting the minutes down.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Brother, absutainly hoping this is one of those shows that
just flies by.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I don't think it's going to be. I've got to
be honest. It's the first time that I've come into
the office and seen Keezy sort of lying on the couch. Um.
I was like, oh, CAZy, and he said, I just
having a little bit of a Nana neck Jase.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
I was still steamed.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I'm just feeling a bit woozy, and I said, mate,
Mogi and I've gotten your back.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
But when does that start any otherwise? What's coming up
on the show, Mogi?

Speaker 5 (02:52):
What's happening on the big show with Old Mogi?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Well, coming up on the show today, we'll be going deep.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
On how Old.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
We're just gonna move.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
We're going to be again super super deep on this.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
We're thinking we might hold a national preer circle for
Old Kezy three four eight three, send us your kind
words for all Kezy here. We'll make them feel better.
Totally alive on here.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
We've got your back, man, the audience has got your back.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Outside of that, there'll be a little bit of chat
about the Beavan and support crew. We're doing a live
show down in Wellington in a couple of weeks and
there's an opportunity for you to get on board. Listen
out for the queue and give us a bow and
you're going the drawer. You could be with the Fellows
down and Wellington in the live show around Beavana. How
good A little bit more goat Chet Fellows the Goats
coming up? How good, great time to be alive. And

(03:47):
outside of that just well you can hear it yourself.
In the background there some ripping music from the Chillies.
Turn it up. Key Back.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hous.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Indeed, Liam Gallagher there on The Hurdarchy Big Show this
Wednesday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past four o'clock.
No keys, he's not feeling great today. Big night last
night at the Pie Awards. But to be fair the
keysy Mogi.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
We've all been there, mate, We've all been there, mate, Yeah,
good stuff, fellas.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
We've all been there, man, what the Pie Awards. No,
we absolutely haven't all been there. You've been to that
seven times. Me and Jays have been a combined zero times.
Yeah yeah, yeah, you know that didn't even invite us, no,
you know, but yeah, everyone here has been there. I've
certainly had my fear share of being hangover, but I
always turned up, of course, even when I shouldn't have.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Ye. Yeah, yeah, well that's what I'm here now. I've
got good content, have you. My chat is still well,
not really, to be honest, my chat's still decent, you know, fellas.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
It's one of them. The tear of all things of life,
I think is turning up to work hungover. We you're
half aassing it. Your heart's just not in it. You're
like counting the minutes. Let's just get through.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Yeah, that's me. I'll tell you.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
One thing you don't want to do is have that
happening early in the week early ink, because to be honest,
it throws a spanner in the works for the entire
rest of the week if you do it on a
Thursday night.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, because you were saying in the podcast outro today
that you ear marked last night for an absolute blowout,
for a Tuesday night amount of musa blowout.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
That's interesting because the idea of getting hammered on a Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Responsibly, I know, it's not a good idea. No, unless
you work in the afternoon and make sure you have
no plans whatsoever, which is what I did today.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
You're good. I was so hungover that I go on,
did you throw out? No?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I almost did, so I woke up but ten thirty. Wow, yeah,
I know, And I drank like a gallon of water
and then I ate some spicy noodles to just sort
of punish myself. Yes, and then the pain the pain away,
and then I was like, oh, you know what I
should because I was lying on the couches, Okay, I
might just play PlayStation for a bit. I tend to

(06:19):
playsession on started on this game I'm playing Died straight
away and it made me feel sick. I turned the
playsession off and had a bath and I was just like,
oh man, And then I came in here to see
you guys. Oh my, Yeah, so it wasn't good. I mean,
it was great last night, but yeah, were.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Always straight the night before. Obviously, that's right.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I think today more than ever, it crossed my mind, like,
genuinely if I called and sick, how would it go down?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Would you guys be understanding? Pugs would then have to
come in and do more work. And he was worse
than I was. He was shocking, man. Yeah, yeah, it
was terrible.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
He just went to have a little spew before.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah, esteemed And so I was like, you know, if
I had genuinely called in sick, would you guys been
okay with it?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
If has got it same?

Speaker 5 (07:08):
What is its up front? Responsible? And that's a good
it's a good philosophy.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Well it sounds cool, but the reality is something else,
isn't it.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
What time did they finish up the Breakfast Failers? Because
they've got the Breakfast Show.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Very smartly called it quits at midnight even that, but you.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
See, there's still heaps of time to cause plenty of damage. Absolutely,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Who's alarm will go off at four thirty or something
like that.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Yes, so you know by the time he finally gets
to sleep, you'll probably have three and a half hours sleep. Yeah,
but I was thinking maybe we could do an improv. Yes,
I'm aware for next time. Yeah, I'll call through fall
and circ you guys play yourselves and just how you
genuinely react to that. It's good to keep in mind
for next time, sure, because there will be a next time.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
In the meantime, here's Blink one eight two.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio holda.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Oh yes, indeed, Royal Blood there on the Hodarchy Big
Show this Wednesday afternoon. But right now it's time for
quite on it sounds free lions on camera action. No,
it's time for the Big Show a prov. So to
lay the platform here Old Kesey had a big night

(08:29):
last night at the Pie Awards. He's fiercely hung over today.
So the improvisation is, what would he we do, Mogi
if he caught us up feeling a bit under the weather?

Speaker 4 (08:39):
That's right, I mean when you tie went off as
Keysey Keyesy did last night, got home to bed. He
was lying in bed double fifteen pies at two thirty am.
So when you've had a night like that, you feel
a bit second hand of the morning, don't you. So yeah,
we're going to do a little improv here. Keysy's going
to bring us up and sort of see how we
would react if he needed to call him sick because

(09:00):
he couldn't handle the jet handle.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Yeah, he's on the line now, fellas.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Okayoday, Fellows, I'm ready for the scene to commence.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Okay, yeah, good, okay, I'm ready.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
So you've got the phone, so Pegs, if you've got
the phone, the phone.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Call there, Yeah, hear me.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Okay, So he's going to ring U sap Yeah yeah, okay,
all right, Yeah, I don't know. So I I think
I'll just call it quits, man, We'll just leave it
at that.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah, if you're enough, make go Oh god, who's that?
It's keasy?

Speaker 4 (09:32):
Just ignore it? Yeah, put on silent, put on silent.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
So, I don't know. It was just a little bit
like when you put under that kind of pressure if
you're like, how are.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
We supposed to improv if you're not going to answer
the phone?

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Well, hang on it, what do you? Jay and I
are in the middle of a conversation, So we're just
gonna get We're going to finish that conversation, right, okay,
and then.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
And then you'll answer the okay, okay, right yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
Yeah, yeah, so yeah what so, Yeah, we got the
person over and he was doing lawns. But the problem
was he's sort of missing spots here and there, and it
makes you wonder whether there's any point hire in the boat.
I mean, how hard is it to my the lawns?
Who's that?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Oh god, it's kezy?

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Don't So. I had a word with the property manager
and I just said, look, if he can't do it,
then I'll do it, Like I don't know why I'm
paying for.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Totally can't do it good enough? Totally and maybe take
a bit off the rent. If I'm going to actually
do the lawns and stuff.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Do this emperor. If you have to add the fie,
it doesn't work unless you.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Adser the phone. CAZy, do you mind? Men, we're in
the middle of a conversation.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
No, I totally, But it's just.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
That that's the beauty of where I am now. Of course,
because we don't have the lawns or anything like that
going on, you know, because we don't. We don't have that,
So your guess is included as well as you know
it is included. Oh god, it'll be keasy.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Hey this spot thing that you can see on my elbow?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yes, what do you reckon?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
That is?

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I don't know. It's look at him a little bit watery,
to be honest, it is. It is the phone. I'm
gonna get that checked out.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
The whole Actually big show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Aca.

Speaker 2 (11:17):

festivals in New Zealand. And of course the Thursday night
we are doing a live show at Bethel Woods, which
is a bar down there and went to town and
you'll be part of the official support crew for that, which,
to be honest, Pugs does pretty much everything.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
So you just got to sit there and drink and
probably have something to eat.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, responsible about Maggie.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
I just sort of pretend to be part of the crew.

Speaker 2 (12:04):

well understandable.

I'm a chippy on a carpenter. Tell me, Jimmy, if
you were to Winders, who would you take with you? Oh, ship,
I'd probably have to take here and doors.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Beer, good stuff.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
He's doing really well, thank you.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Really much selling at the moment. Here's the Arctic Monkeys.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
The Hohodarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
The Osborne There on the Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
The time is four fifty three. Let's talk TV.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Yeah, last night I was sort of a little bit
in between the in betwixt and between if I can
put it that way for you.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
The keys rap your head around there? What? Brother?

Speaker 4 (15:44):
So I was trolling through well every single platform available
to man, yes, and ended up having a little geezer.
I think they've got pretty much every series, every season
of South Park available for you on Neon. So I
watched the first episode of the most recent season and
it was pretty funny. I mean, they haven't changed much.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
No, they're just it's just always pretty funny.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
It's always pretty funny. This one thing good is Trump
is the anti Christ and he impregnates Satan and now
Satan is going to have baby. I can't even give
you the details, but let me tell you it's pretty explicit.
It's full nudity on Trump. They betray him as having

(16:30):
a little one. It's pretty related intentional.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Oh yeah, because if he says are defamation or whatever,
you agree that this is a likeness of you with
this tiny pecking.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
They just say as many horrible things as I can
about as many hot people as they. Peter Teel's on
it as well, who bangs on about the Antichrist and
all that sort of thing, because I have a self
proclaimed expert on the Antichrist, which for all intents and
purposes doesn't exist. But yeah, pretty funny. Three buzzies out
of a possible five available for you on Neon.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Yeah, great stuff. I've seen some of the clips from that.
They're bloody good, very good fellas. We went back to
a series we've been watching called Alone International, and it's
basically a survival show where people get dropped in the
very in a very harsh environment and they have to

(17:18):
build their own sholder, they have to catch their own food.
It's actually a very entertaining show because they don't have
Wi Fi or anything like that, and winter is coming,
so everything everything is freezing over, which is making it
all the more complicated. Four or five of the teen
have gone now eats No Uber eats Magi. But what's

(17:42):
actually really fascinating about it is how people survive, and
they go in their aps and downs. Like one of
the guys, the Australian guy for example, who's from Australia,
he was really struggling and was look like he was
about yeah, like keesy was he hungover. He looked like
he was about to pull the pen. But then he

(18:04):
called a beaver and he was jubilant.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Did he eat the beaver?

Speaker 2 (18:09):
He ate the beaver.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
So he was just sitting there watching a guy eating beaver.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
And they they're a very fatty animals, so they give
him all the proteins and fats and he's smoking all
the meat and stuff. It's great stuff. It's tinally entertaining.
Oh give it a solid three point eight busies out
of five.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Wow, it's really good actually watching Outrageous Fortune guys. Watch
an episode the other day. It was like episode five
of the first season. I've never seen it before. It's
on Tvan's and I was asked, this episode's a bit slow,
to be honest, probably the first slow episode. By the
second half of it, however, all the stuff goes down,
which has massive implications for the future story of the show.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
And I'm like, ah, this is good.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
It's good stuff, man.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Yeah, it's such a good show.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
Loving it. What do you give a loan?

Speaker 3 (18:55):
I'm going to give this at least four point three
busies out of five every series on evens plus, which
is pretty cool. Hey fellas, coming up after five o'clock,
we have got a double pass to the Wars.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
This weekend to give away.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah your g Yeah man.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
They're playing the Panthers Friday night. It's sold out once again.
It's going to be one of the best games of
the season. So if you are keen to get a
double for that, stick around and get ready to call
eight hundred. Hadarky also ahead of this Wars game. For
some reason, I've been asked to do another Bitcher pot,
so if you would like to jump in on the
Hodarky pottheads pot basically open a pot using the bitch app.

(19:31):
You guys put money in. I picked the bits and
usually I lose everything. If you keen download the bitcher app,
jump onto bit social, use the code backbone, jump in
their rat bit responsibly of course, and old Keezy will
We'll bring it home for you.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
Tune in week dated four on Radio HODAK.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Welcome back your messive backbones. Hope you're getting through your
hump day tickety boo. You're listening to the Big Show
incidentally brought to you.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
By Reber handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gormete eats that
will change the game.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Old pug Son and Studio b Therefe was giving me
a filthy look. I may have just caused a bit
of a ruckus between him and his lovely partner. Yeah, unintentional,
of course. I didn't mean to cause a ruckus. I
was just repeating to her what Pugs had said to
us earlier in the show.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
And doing the classic hardy j of putting a crapload
of mustard, essentially lying lying to get someone in trouble
a Pugs, is your relationship going to was going to
survive this? As I said to her, She took every
bit of the bait that you were putting out there,
many every bit the mustard. Yeah, guys, just like seeing

(20:47):
people's relationships fall apart, Jas, why do you get such
a kick out of it?

Speaker 4 (20:51):
Well, if merely the Molders remarked, like that can send
shockwaves through a relationship. Surely Jason's only spinning up the proceeds.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Thank you, Mogi you're right, Pugs is hanging on for
dear light.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Yeah right, And I'm one of those people that just
have it out, have it out, clear the air, or
divorce or break up. Incidentally, we were told yesterday from
our producer that it's breakup season, which we may touch
on some other time.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
That's right, We're going to get into that tomorrow. Yeah, good,
look forward to that. It's breakup season. They have. Breakup
seasons are certain times of year, keazy when people are
more inclined to get rid of their partners.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah, so keep that in mind, all right. What do
you mean keep that in mind?

Speaker 5 (21:36):
Keysy, I am yeah, you don't. I don't want to
talk about this topic because I know what it's going
to be. It's gonna be Ocusy's wife called me in tears.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
It's break up season, Yodio, here's she Ha.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on radios.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Indeed, Weezer there on the Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
The time is thirteen minutes past five o'clock. And Fellers,
I've had another strange encounter.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Strange encounters of the Whiting.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
I don't know what it is about me, but I
seem to attract strange people. They seem to be drawn
to me for a reason and feel like they can say.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
What ebbs, have you heard this saying birds of a feather?

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yes? No, this is about your pigeon. Now's up the time, keezy?
Oh sorry, Now this is another weird encounter that I
had in the CBD.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
And that stands for Central Business District.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Correct, Yes, Now, I was going to get some lunch.
I was a bit peckish. I only had a toasted
sandwich for dinner last night, so I got my skull
candies on yeah as as my want. Wandered through to
the city Dish Dish Dish, and I went to my

(23:13):
local barn me place. What's a barn me jas A
band me is a Vietnamese bun basically stuffed with your beef,
you pork your chicken primarily. And anyway, I went there
at lunchtime. So in this little area I go to
on Queen Street, there's a lot of little sort of
shops and cafes, so there was a huge amount of

(23:33):
people just milling around. Sure, right, so I went and
ordered my barn meat on the little computer there, and
I was standing at the front in my skull candies
on the street, just people watching, just looking at people,
you know, as you do. It's one of my favorite
things to do. And then out of the corner of
my eye, I sort of accidentally locked eyes with this

(23:57):
guy just for the briefest moment. It wasn't a lot
long time, just a brief moment we locked eyes. Now,
can I say this guy was a big unit? He
was a massive guys or yeah, yeah, just a huge unit.
And the only reason I mentioned that is because it
kind of added to the incongruity of the situation. So

(24:20):
I saw this guy and then I said, listening to
my beach, and then I noticed out of the corner
of my eye he had walked about halfway towards me.
But I was feeling a little bit uncomfortable, so I
deliberately didn't look at him, thinking, oh God, I hope
he's not coming to have a little chat to old
Aidy J. So I was just looking ahead at the place,

(24:40):
you know, and blah blah blah blah blah with my
skull candies on. And then he was standing beside me
without a word of a lie, and he was towering
over the top of me, and I looked up at
him and he said something, but I didn't hear him
because I had my skull candies and he said, sorry,
what was that mate? I took my headphones off and said,
exactly that case is sorry, that's what you always said.

(25:03):
And he said to me, what did you order?

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Oh? Nice, try and pick up. Now.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
My first reaction was, well, that's none of your business.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Really, you couldn't just say, oh, but.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
I'm an amicable kind of feeling you are, and so
I said, oh, lemon, grass, chicken, barn me and he
looked at me, and this is absolutely true. He looked
me in the iron went idiot.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
That was it.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
That was it, and he just walked off.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
And I was like, shame, what it's so funny, and I.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Said and I looked at him and I just shrugged
my shoulders, like what was that?

Speaker 5 (25:42):
He just dominated?

Speaker 2 (25:43):
What am I supposed to say to that? He didn't
even give me a chance.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
That's what's so great. You asking an ocuous question regardless
of what they say. Beg idiot.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Yeah, yeah, he's absolutely done you. And there's lots of
people standing around, so did anybody witness it, because he
has done you there.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
No, there were just people, you know, people were just
waiting for their orders. They even noticed.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
I didn't even watch that.

Speaker 6 (26:08):
He just.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Lumped off and I was like, oh God, yeah, how wastiful.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
It would have been hard for you to enjoy.

Speaker 6 (26:19):
You know.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
I could just sort of sit there with the lemon
grass chicken bad me and you go and you're thinking
to yourself, God, that guy has absolutely done me straight
on the radio though. Good on you.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yeah, thanks mate.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Here's the Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on radio.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Indeed, had like a hole there on the Hadarky Big
Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is five twenty four
and Fellas Big Big game this Friday against the Panthers.
Am I right in saying this is like a litmus
test for the Fellows, Well.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
It's been a huge it's been a huge year. Where
we're currently sitting in the third position that the Panthers
are in first. We've played them already this year. We've
lost by two points, but there were players missing on
both sides, so it is it's an answute monster. It's
a great yardstick of where we are sort of heading
into it towards finals. Keezy.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah, that's right, Hody Jay. It's a couple of good matchups.
This under this is definitely the match out. It's also
the game to target to go and see at Mount
Smart Stadium. It'll be absolutely hissing well to have the
best team in the competition for the last five years,
the Panthers in town and for the hopefully get up
for this game.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Yeah, good stuff.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
As a result, sold out bloody ages ago. Yes, it's
impossible to get tickets. We've got a double to give away.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
That's do it. Then Fellas get a Jackier mad Barstard
Hell's life.

Speaker 6 (27:42):
Oh it's amazing. How are you Fellas doing?

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Yeah? Good, thanks Jack? Your messive backbone? What do you
do for a crust a builder? Yeah good, stuffy Jack.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
Do you like the Warriors man, of course?

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Yeah, yeah, tell me Jack. Uh, what do you think
the score is going to be here?

Speaker 6 (28:03):
Oh, it'll be a close game.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
Panthers seeming that they seem pretty good at the moment.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
But oh it'll be a couple of points for the Warriors. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Nice. And who are you going to take with you, Jack?

Speaker 6 (28:17):
It depends.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
I'm in the dog box with the messes so she
can stay home. Then.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
I don't know if he enjoys the league, but maybe
one of the work mates.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Yeah, well yeah, right, okay, good stuff, Jay with the
good news is mate, you've won the double pass.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Mate, awesome, Thank you guys, very welcome.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
Jack you hold the line and old Pakistan will sort
you out right.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Mate, appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
I've got a bit of a conundrum, fellow, because it's
only just dawned on me that whether the international film
face all started. It's on up in Auckland and on
Friday night I've been invited along to the premiere of
a film called Mum, I'm Alien Pregnant. It's got a
couple of our mates and hoy Jo Brough, yes, Jackie

(29:01):
van Beek of it Parsons, amongst others. Karen O'Leary is
in it as well. There and it is a comedy.
Doors open at eight o'clock, same time as kickoff as
panthers for the film to start at eight forty five.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
So what do you do here, because obviously you are
a Thespian, you're of the you know, well, I haven't
been to it.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
I used to go to like twenty odd films a
year in the film festival. I haven't been for Ragious,
so I've got to go. I have to go get
along and support. So I'm going to sit in my
car and watch the first half on your phone on
my phone, yes, and then I'm going to go in
and watch the second half on my phone.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
I think. So yeah, nice mate, nice. I was the
agent every down there and you.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
But it's a.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
It's a shocker. It's funny shocking timing. Just before, while
the tunes are playing, you were like, what's on Friday?
And I was like the Warriors and you were like,
oh no, it's.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Such a bad clasus because I'm desperate.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
I obviously love both, but it's like, yeah, yeah, you
got to sacrifice one of them. So then the other
thing is now I'm not going to say it because yeah,
I forget it.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yeahitched out. What are you going to do for the game? Keysy,
I'm going to watch it at home.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Yeah, I'm just gonna watch it at home, you know,
maybe get a cheeseboard going.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Maybe able to if you watched a recent game at
the pub.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
I don't really, I never.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
I don't like that. Well, it was.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Awesome because it was the game we got passed, so
I could just immediately just go all right, well, I'm
now concentrated, I'm locking in.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
I'm just getting responsibly steam.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Yeah right, which was nice near good stuff.

Speaker 1 (30:45):

Speaker 4 (31:25):
Yeah, Nirvana Breed, Prodigy omen and book a t with
Green Onions.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
So nice variety there, I've got a variety, two fellas,
So I thought today I'd tell you my three nominations
for this year's Goat, and I highly encourage the audience
to take these songs into consideration with that voting, especially
this first song, This song fellas as you know, it's
played a pretty special part, you know, in my lifetime
with my family, but also this year for you guys

(31:51):
as well. And I know it's a song that you
guys love off the nineteen sixty eight album A Man
Without Love. It as Englebert Humpet and Kwondo Kwondo Wando Tell.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Me When will you be Mine? Tell me quan?

Speaker 3 (32:10):
You know, if the audience was to jump on this
song and maybe get it up the charts there or
the Goat, you know, they would to be a bad thing.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
What it fellas?

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Please don't make me wait again?

Speaker 4 (32:20):
What does kwondo mean?

Speaker 5 (32:21):
Is it like more and more more or something like that?
What is it?

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Well? Like?

Speaker 4 (32:25):
When?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
When?

Speaker 4 (32:26):
When?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
When?

Speaker 4 (32:27):
When?

Speaker 2 (32:27):
When there was a yeah, I didn't even know that
you didn't know that embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
My next song is one that I traditionally when everybody
to go countdown, I always give me. Shouted by the
Rolling Stones is my favorite song of all time.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
I always vote for it. It's always in the top
one hundred somewhere, and so I've decided just to.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Stop voting for it and really, yeah, okay, if I
just come in every year with give me shouting, yeah,
just tedious.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
Yeah, I just I want to mix it up a
week bit so this year.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
And I know Pugs. This is a special song for
Pugs as well. David Bowie Heroes. It's my ultimate road
trip song. I put it on when I'm steamed on YouTube.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
There so great.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Do you guys love this song?

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Man?

Speaker 2 (33:12):
I do love that song brings back memories actually, keasy.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
Such a nice song, David Bowie Heroes.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
There.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
And this third song, which is traditionally where Gimme Shelter
would be. It's actually a song I associate with Radiohodak
because I never ever used to listen to it until
I started working here and then I started hearing the
song more often and I was like, hang about, that's
one of the greatest songs ever. We're talking Barbara O'Riley
by the Who.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Such a tune man, it is.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
And I mean, obviously it's mostly instrumental there, but it's
got one of the all time great sort of build ups.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
And I guess you'd say a drop later on. Yeah, sure, it.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Makes you think you can achieve anything, doesn't it? Some
of those ones?

Speaker 5 (34:14):
So does Heroes by David Bowie.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Actually, so those two together such heavy rotation on my playlist.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Yeah, it's ridiculous fun And.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Howdy Jo Tomorrow, I guess you will took us through
your three goat votes. Okay, I'm gonna be sassy about it.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
I'm of the inclination to not why well, I just
hadn't know. I just feel like, you know, my my
musical choices have taken a bit of stick lately, and
I'm not happy about it.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
Right, So you're suggesting that the fact that you've ruined
the Throbber, are you?

Speaker 2 (34:55):
I'll see how I feel, all right? You cool me?
I don't care. Oh this is one of my favorites. Yeah,
it's a chick.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Do text the word go to three four eight three,
choose your three goats and we're going to rip into things.

the radio before he talks about it.

a bone.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
Depict got a bonupit.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
I've noticed on our chat and our sort of private
chat that we have the group chat, the group chat
that you when I say you, Mogi and Keysey have
some sort of date on Saturday. Yeah, oh yeah, No,
I may have just I mean, I may have missed
something in terms of the messages, et cetera. I don't

(35:55):
recall getting any kind of invitation for said date. That
sounds right, So what, well, it's just going to be
you two on the day.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Yeah, well, Ason, you know, you know that I imagine
there'll be maybe six to eight other people on the
VIP table table that we're going to the event we're
going to do there.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Right, okay, movers and shakers.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Yeah, well then it's probably in my email or something
like that. Then if it's movers and shakers, no, no.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
You know, not like shaky hands or really being able
to move.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
You know, how do you, Keezy, are you refering in
your stage at the moment?

Speaker 4 (36:36):
How do you are you.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
Talking about the fact that Megi and I are going
to be sitting at a VIP table at the Cruiserweight
World title eliminator. David Yuka, Yeah, fighting Floyd Mason.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Well, I guess I am talking about that because every
time I try and bring it up, you guys go
very quiet. So now I know actually what it is.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
Well, look, it's one of those things I don't know
what you mean to do. Jay's David wanted us there.
David want to ask Yeah, so he requested our presence.
He said, VI, p all the way I want you
sitting in front row, front table, getting sprayed with sweat
and blood.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
Yeah, and we said we'll be there, we'll be there.
And when Dave O, when he he's a mad dog,
I was going to say, you know you probably well I.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Do know because we've interviewed and then I felt we
had a really good chemistry.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
You fellas he was off you straight away.

Speaker 5 (37:29):
So yeah, me and we have to get some tuxedos, Moggie.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Yeah, we've got some taxedos going to the backbones jas
is what we call them at Barker is there. They're
going to boot and suit me and old Keysy over there,
black tie taxed that's great occasion shoes.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
You name it.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
We're going to be looking sharp. As a tech until
we get covered, of course in the blood and sweating.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Yeah. Yeah, so it's pretty exciting. I'm glad you're happy.
Sounds like a big table of people.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
That's a big table.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Little be other it's it's a sort of six people
total that's on a big table. Chances it's not going
to turn up. It's quite Saturday night. I might find
something else and old Hoidy Jacob slip in there.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
Tell you what you would have missed out on something
like this, an opportunity to see them with David Nuker involved.
I think they will be there, certainly, But I'll tell
you what if you get suited and booted, yes, and
come on out, yes, and just wait in your car.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
And if it happens that somebody doesn't come in, we'll
see what we can do. But you might just end
up waiting in your car all night.

Speaker 6 (38:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Because do you want to watch the fight?

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Do you? Yes?

to do this anywayouldn't you rather be at home?

Speaker 4 (38:41):
You know?

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Having a hot part watching Samsung TV. You get a
frozen yogurt. You know that's way more your sort of vibe.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
True, that s true?

Speaker 5 (38:49):
Yeah yeah, it's no hard feelings. Man.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Well we'll see how you turn out on Monday afternoon.

It is free food and booze as well.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Oh yeah, here's a black came.

Speaker 1 (39:05):

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Welcome back your messive bankbones. Hope you're getting through your
hump day tickety boo. You are, in fact listening to
the Big Show brought to you by reboog.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
You handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gormete eats that will
change the game.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Um yeh man, hey fellas, you'll be very proud of me.
I was talking yesterday about the fact that I'm putting
on a winter pelt, yes, eating a lot of Asian
and spicy food, and I've thought to myself, enough is enough.
I've got to start looking after my diet. Just a
toasted sandwich for Old Hoidy j for dinner last night,

(39:43):
Just just a plain, old simple toasting.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
We actually had a natural natural My wife said to
my daughter, would you like nacho's for dinner? And my
daughter said, oh, thanks, mom, you please, And then my
daughter had a bath, which is what the situation I
came into when I got home. My daughter's in the bath,
my wife's in the kitchen. I go into the kitchen.

(40:07):
My wife has filled up this nacho concoction with grated carrot.
Oh no, all sorts of I'm like, she was happy
that you're making her nacho's and what are you doing here?
And my wife was cracking out again. You I'm just
trying to get good food into it. I was like,
you can't do this, what not what nachos are for?
And she's like, it'll be fine, it'll melt it, so

(40:28):
it's not cheese melt.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
I told you this a little while back, Magie. One
of my daughters, Reckon, you know, was big on the
vegetarian thing and vegan and all that sort of stuff,
and she loves pizza. And I said, well, what do
you do for cheese then, and she said grated carrot?
I kipt you not, And I was like, no, no, no,
that's not completely unacceptable.

Speaker 4 (40:48):
Now they do it for a vegan cheese and it's
an abomination. Yes, it's either they can have the real thing.
In my opinion, Now, I was vegan for four years,
and we would do it. When we were doing it,
we would do all the replacements. Yes, it's kind of
like a meat beef pat. You can have a beef burger,
et cetera, et cetera. It's like it's either it or
it's not heaven or don't I agree. Otherwise it's just

(41:09):
this proceious God knows what. Keysy.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
I'm not sure. I hope it's substantial.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
I was thinking that you might become for a bit
of reburger on the way home.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
That would be perfect, that would be That would be scenario.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
I texted my wife, Hey, what's for dinner? I'm not
sure I'm thinking reburger. Then I would be like, yes,
but she never she always has something planned.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Yeah right, yeah, well why don't you just tell her
how it's going to be. Yeah, yeah, you've had your
spicy noodles already today, noodles.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
You've heard of that, didn't you live there? Easing in Wellington? Yes,
Choice Bros are born and brewed in Wellington. Are the
kind of legends who like to keep things interesting. These
locals are afraid to mix things up, experimenting with flavors,
styles and ideas to create beers that stand out from
the crowd.

Speaker 5 (43:06):
They stand out from the crowd.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Yeah, good stuff, man, Do we have any examples?

Speaker 5 (43:13):
It delicious, hazy hot monster hazy. They make hazy hot monsters.
You know, hop hot pot without tea and hop.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Sounds like something I'd be into.

Speaker 3 (43:27):
From hazy hot monsters to sour and seasonal creations. Choice
Bros bring plenty of personality to every pore. They brew
the beers they want to drink with a bit of creativity,
a bit of attitude, and a whole lot of flavor.

Speaker 5 (43:38):
I like attitude and my beers, bloody good stuff.

we absolutely love it.

Speaker 4 (43:58):
And yeah, we get around inside there. It's on the concourse,
there's food, there's music, and there's beers fellers, So you've
got to get a monks. It's a hell of a
day so a weekend. Could I put it to you
that way?

Speaker 6 (44:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (44:09):
You get The way they do it is they split
it up. Jas You won't know this, but that you

Speaker 4 (44:13):
Session in your afternoon session or joking on, and so
you get a few hours to really taste the local weirs.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
Yes, did you not know that, Jason, I didn't know that.
Do they have a night session or is it morning afternoon?

Speaker 4 (44:27):
That's it sort of well, I think the first one
starts at about eleven o'clock in the morning is.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
After and I show you what it does.

Speaker 4 (44:35):
It goes until four o'clock and then at four o'clock
they stop everything for an hour.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
You joke.

Speaker 4 (44:41):
And you'll remember this because the first couple of years
we went down there, we did the live show from Beavana,
and so for the first hour of the show there
was absolutely nobody in the joint. For the cleaner.

Speaker 5 (44:50):
Yeah, there was a one of those little cuts, those
little sweepy bars, the brushes underneath it.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
That was great. Want to stop doing that now?

Speaker 3 (44:58):
Hey, beer and it gets seconds' see you down there
in a big shot out the brewery of the day,
which is Choice Bros.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
Oasis The hd Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
Keyzy tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarky.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
Cooel Jam There on the Hadarky Big Show. This Wednesday, evening, fellows,
let's give out some much needed advice.

Speaker 4 (45:25):
Six at gmail dot com. Get in touch with the fellas.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
Do you get touch?

Speaker 5 (45:35):
Do you touch the follow.

Speaker 3 (45:38):
Meet Patty in sixty nine at gmail dot com. Really,
malajus man, do it if we read it on the show.
It's anonymous and get yourself rebig about you?

Speaker 2 (45:44):
Wyow? Do you feel like you're in a state to
sort of be giving out advice?

Speaker 6 (45:48):
Keys?

Speaker 5 (45:48):
Correctly you of all people. But I'll read the question
and you guys can do it.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
Okay, Yeah, sweet airs man bumble will stumble you away
over these weeks.

Speaker 5 (45:56):
God's sake, if you guys would just not interrupt me?

Speaker 2 (46:00):
What you get? Why are you? Why are you having
yourself like that?

Speaker 5 (46:04):
What I've got my arms folding.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
It's like you're giving yourself a little harder.

Speaker 5 (46:08):
Yeah, because I'm Volney's all right?

Speaker 3 (46:10):
Good a fellers feel anonymous here? Ah, I found myself
in a difficult situation. I accidentally called my teacher mum
when I was eight. We recently moved house and she
is now our neighbour. I'm twenty three hours too late
to apologize or do I just not bring it up?
Cheers Anonymous?

Speaker 2 (46:30):
You guys have done that, called his teacher mum, but
to be fear, I think most teachers would have heard
a lot worse. Yeah, and in an actual fact that
I'm sure that she looked upon it with a certain
amount of affection. Kesy, she was, oh, hell cute.

Speaker 6 (46:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (46:48):
If I was him, I would ask her if she
remembers it, yes, and I bet she does.

Speaker 5 (46:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
It was probably a really poignant moment in her life
where she was like, obviously been such a teacher that
he's getting mum vibes from me. Yes, because I'm caring
so much.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
I think I felt that would happen a lot. Though
it would have happened to her twenty times in the creation,
it was.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
Only to beg him keys. The guy's riding and asking
us for some advice and you're just going on. It
happens all the time. What's the big deal?

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Just because just because you're feeling bolies, it doesn't mean
that you can diss other people's needs.

Speaker 4 (47:24):
There's no need to kick the sucker when he's down.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
He's not even down. He's probably listening to this as
we speak in tears.

Speaker 4 (47:32):
Yeah, this guy, you got to look at it from
his point of view. When he was eight, he had
an absolute shocker. He called his teacher mum. That is
sucker material, all right. And then you're kicking him when
he's down, when you should be trying to be supportive
of him and make him feel better.

Speaker 5 (47:48):
Okay, I'll try.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
And you're laughing at him. I mean, this is unbelievable, Kesey.
Why he's a sucker? You're gonna laugh at him? Well,
I didn't.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
I don't think he is a sucker it Okay, I'm
laughing because of the funny nature of the situation.

Speaker 5 (48:04):
Okay, I'll try and be supportive. Man, it's tough. I
really feel for you. I think front footing it with
her so that every time you see her it's not
an awkward situation.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
So every time he sees her, he goes I called
you mum once. Yeah, And what kind of advice is that, KESI.
I mean, he's obviously very self conscious about it.

Speaker 4 (48:25):
If I was home, I was sort of just sort
of plaid off, give you time I saw I, go hey, mom,
how's it going, like all that sort of stuff, and
then just ask her out on a date.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
Totally.

Speaker 6 (48:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:38):
The whole Key Big Show with Jason Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio hod.

making life hard for me, and then you keep saying
stuff like we got your bat, Keezy, we got your bet.
So here's a clip entitled Pep and your Step comes
out at seven seven thirty tonight, where we get your
podcast from.

Speaker 4 (49:28):
What do you think about this weather? Wezy and my
four and just went twang Man on full of beans today, Yes,
I'm full of beans.

Speaker 5 (49:45):
That was such a good example of what I was
talking about. It's just ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (49:50):
Now, Mowgie your plans for the night and other hot
pot maybe no, Well, I'll tell you what I've got.

Speaker 4 (49:55):
I've got to I get to go to a new
show call. I was doing the trumpet, so I thought
you'd forgotten Settling starring pack Socaty and Hannah Marshall the
idea behind. There's a new TV show that's going to
be on three, I believe, tomorrow night, and it's about

(50:17):
a couple who are a couple of mates their friends
at high school. They say, if we make it till
thirty and we haven't found our partners, our wives, our loves,
then will marry each other. We'll settle for each other
and just crack on. So it's a great premise. I
actually had that at high school with the maide of mine.
Yes and yeah, and then we're going to talk to
them tomorrow on the show. Hannah and Pax are coming

(50:38):
in Tomorrow's.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Good stuff, mate, keasy Well, I mean it's pretty straightforward,
isn't it.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Well to be honest, I've just tried to pull a
fast one on my wife. Yeah, I was like, what's
for teen and I so I can't remember, and then
I said, I think I remember you saying.

Speaker 5 (50:51):
We were going to get Reburger tonight. She hasn't responded,
so hopefully that won't. We'll be having a salad hell.

Speaker 2 (50:59):
Yeah, yeah about you, Jason. While in the same camp
as you, Keezy, trying to be a bit healthier, stay
away from your hot pots.

Speaker 5 (51:07):
That's a completely different camp from Camp keesy.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
Ah, just staying away from your spicy foods. Yeah, my
wife and I we said we'll just have a wander tonight,
see what we find, and then go home, watch a
bit of TV and then tuck up into bed.

Speaker 4 (51:22):
There there's a point where you said that you were
that you have takeaways like once a week. It's absolute rubbish.
It's five days a week, four at most.

Speaker 2 (51:32):
Hey, now listen. Thanks for listening to the show. Check
out the podcast, check out the Instagram. Till tomorrow, good Bye,
