looking really nice and it's very formal.

is not my Adidas one. It's a Marino and as
you can see, it really hugs the busies.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Really, is there a top of you where that doesn't
hug the busies?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
I mean any top Look, I'll talk about this later
in the show. Concerns about my busies at the moment,
but we'll talk about that later.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
What is coming up on the show, Mogi? What's happening
on the Big show with old Mogi.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
We've got another humongous competition, fellas. We're going to be
Avanner down in Wellington, the biggest, most magnificent beer festival
in the country, and we want to give you the
opportunity to come along with us.

Man, you'll be upfront and center there. You get a hotel,
you get flights, and then you get to go to
be Avanner on us as well.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
It's not bad, is it?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Can I just clarify you don't get a hotel, you
get to stay in a hotel.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
They get to own a hotel. They oh wow, holy
he it's crazy.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Also, Keysy has got a pigeon Keezy on all wings
looking over its beak with me, Kesey, and we're gonna
have to have a chat about this about what we're
going to do absolutely hammered in its first race, coming
in the bottom twenty five out of one hundred and fifteen.
Shock and bastard, as I call it. But perhaps the

(03:39):
most exciting thing that we've got on the show today
fellas what's what's for tea, New Zealand or what's on
the dinner with me? Oh kezy, But that's not for
so fire us through on three four eight three. What
are you having for dinner? It's way too We'll give
a little a few teasers around there. It's a little
bit of a taste here and there, and love to
see what you're going to Bemmon and your God New

(04:01):
Zealand it doesn't know.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Yeah, we'll get into that in two hours time.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Love me a Tuesday night, what's on the dinner with me?

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Keysy? How good? Here's food fighters.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Indeed, Ellison Chain's there on The Hodarchy Big Show this
Tuesday afternoon, just to remind after six o'clock, what's on
the dinner with me keysy? A textually what you're having
for dinner? That's going to be an absolute DC two.
But right now it's breaking news.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
This is breaking news. That's right, breaking news. It's cold
out there in New Zealand. It's cold, cold as a
witch's what refrigerator even freezer. Actually, it's very very cold.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
Wellington is has faced some snow today and I don't
know if you've seen the footage online there, but it.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Is snowing like a bastard. It is.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
It's a little bit of it's not a little bit
of hail, it's actual snow. I got I've got mates
down there. I got sent a screenshot earlier on today
from when it was hail, and then I got sorry
a video of that, and then I got some video
of the snow, and then I got a screenshot of
the temperature. The temperature is six degrees, but it felt
like minus six degrees?

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Wow? Is it the wind chill? Wind? Wind chill factor?
Sure chill factor, wind chill. It certainly comes into it,
the wind chill. So I hate to bag her up.
What's on the dinner with me? Keasy?

Speaker 6 (05:33):
But please, please they us know what the temperature is
where you are. Let's know your name, where you are,
and what the temperature is, but also then what the
what it actually feels like. So I want the real
temperature but then I want to know what it feels.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Like where I am right now, Mogie, she's about fourteen
degrees Yeah, what does it feel like?

Speaker 5 (05:51):
It feels like about ten or eleven?

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah, but you're inside right now, yes, So how how
would you know where I am?

Speaker 6 (05:58):
I'd say it's it's it's also about fourteen, thirteen and
a half, fourteen, but it feels like about six or
seven because I've only got a T shirt on. You've
got your marino on, Jae, Yes, so that's affecting how
it feels for you.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
But also where Jason's is about two meters away from
where you are, so it can't be fourteen where he
is in thirteen and a half where you.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
Are, Well, it is because I'm a little bit closer
to these big windows kezy, so the temperature comes down, right.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
If you knew anything about the weather, you know that, Yeah, totally.
He's not a meteorologist, lord.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
So I'm just having a bit of a look around
the joint here. And if you're on Stuart Island, I
don't know if we're available live across the what do
you call those are the airwaves there? But Stuart Island
is six degrees fine, fine today beautiful feels like minus two. Yeah,
it feels like minus two. Gore find spells today and

(06:48):
seven degrees feels like minus three.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Right, Okay, you know what I'm saying. You're seeing a pattern.
They're kezy. Yeah. Places seem to be colder than what
they're saying. Yeah, you get it.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Yeah, I would be in, for example, maybe up north,
where the temperature is, say fourteen degrees.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Great, but it feels like twenty two.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
That's nice. You know what I mean that that doesn't happen,
does it?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
It can do, yes, especially out north.

Speaker 6 (07:14):
Yeah, especially I flight is it feels like forteen but
you've got the heater on, yes, and it feels like
twenty two.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
Well that's yeah, I guess so feeling because the actual
temperature is fourteen. Yeah, but to you it feels like
twenty two because you're next to the.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Heat unless you buy the window, which case, drop it down,
drop down about half.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
I'll be honest with you.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
It is fourteen degrees in here, but now it feels
like eight to me.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Yes, that you've taken your head off.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Yeah, yeah, three four rate three?

Speaker 5 (07:41):
How's the weather?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Were you?

Speaker 5 (07:42):
What does the temperature? What does it feel like? Yeah,
what does it feel like though, I'm really.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Inpecifically specifically where you are three four right three every
tixt in the draw for a fifty do Reburger boucher.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Here's the rack on tiers.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Would actually Big show with Jason, Mike and Kesy in
week days at four on Radio.

The time is twenty six minutes past four o'clock.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Remember to get those texts through for what's on the
dinner with me?

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Keysy. Stop running a different topic right now.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I know, I just want to make sure that you've
got plenty of stuff to work with, Kesey. But what
we are talking about currently is the wild, crazy weather
out there.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
Well, we've had some breaking news fellas and there it
is that it is cold out there.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Winter has finally arrived. It's it's August.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
Winter's just about over and yet the biggest cold snap
of the season yet. Wellington currently six degrees feels like
minus eighteen.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, in the last eight minutes. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Well, my mate down there is in the restaurant business.
He's just gone into the chiller to get some fish out.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Yeah. Right, So it feels like Aideen in the chiller.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
Of course, no minus eiden degrees. That'll be too warm
for the fish keys.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
It's currently in the studio now it's actually dropped a bit.
It's now thirteen degrees. I went out for a vape
in the break there felt like minus two.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Okay, So people are texting through obviously what they're having
for dinner, which is super annoying, but mostly you know
what the temperature is where they are and what it
feels like.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
Yes. Good. I feel like people don't understand this. Good
a guys. It's thirteen and Cambri. This is from Steve
and Canberra.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
It's thirteen south of Cambridge. But it feels like twenty
two in my climate controlled truck cab. Yeah that makes sense, Yeah,
it does it. Of course it feels twenty two. You've
got your climate control.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
Well what part of that doesn't make sense?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Good a guys. It's ten degrees in Hamilton. Feels like Antarctica.
But I've got the earcon on low and blasting.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Yeah, that'll be it. That's it. You want to tune
your heter on? Yeah, one hundred percent.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Wouldn't you have it on high rather than low?

Speaker 5 (09:52):
If it's freezing, that would be me. Yeah, I have
no idea, but he could be a mad bastard. You
just don't know, true.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Get a guys making use of the twenty four degree
using my car before I get home to my minus
two hundred and ninety nine degree house. That's from that's
from the people renting Jason's place.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
I can totally relate to that.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Of course, you get used to live there. See And
this is so people are sitting through their dinner and stuff.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Yeah, it's good stuff. Keep those coming, by the way.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Three four eight three, Get a Sarah here and fun
at a Thirteen degrees feels like twenty seven sitting in
the office with the sun blearing and wearing a wooly
jumper heated blanket covering my legs, looking forward to what's
on the dinner.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
Yeah, you do it. Yeah's looking forward to what's on
the dinner.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
It's massive to.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Make things really confusing as well. Some are coming in.
It doesn't even it don't even make sense. Thirteen degrees
feels like Keesy's frozen meat, petty nips.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
That's that's about zero. It's about zero. It's not even funny, like,
it doesn't even make any sense.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Ah, Douggie and Queen sound it's four degrees but it
feels like minus sixteen.

Speaker 5 (10:56):
But I'm in the lake. Oh yeah, yeah, the lake's freezing.
It's real cold. Do you want me to keep reading
this one here? Causey I've got stiff nips and the cargo.
Yeah you like that one. They're a great though.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
They're a great temperature gauge the nips.

Speaker 5 (11:17):
Yes, um, you look.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Keep the text coming in, thank you, whatever the hell
you're texting in for. We've got about three different topics
running the house.

Speaker 5 (11:24):

Speaker 6 (15:42):
Last night, Fellows, I watched the very first episode of
the New Zealand drama comedy Slash et cetera, et cetera.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Miss x.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
X, It's got Melissa George in the lead, A suburban
mum and her high school friend plot to riding her
unfaithful husband straight, but their scheme spirals into meredow, trapping
her between law enforcement, drug lords, and ruthless ptams. Mums
created by David Delatour and Hannah Marshall. You'll know David Delatour.

(16:15):
He played The Young Wolf and West Side You also
played Stephen Donald and the Cat the Cat most famously,
so they are a married couple, David. They wrote the
show together. David directed.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
It stars Melissa George, Dino Gorman, Yes, and Simone Casel
Dina Gorman. Very funny in it.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
He's sort of a down and out, sort of deadbeat loser,
and he does a lot of the heavy lifting with
the comedy stuff. It's on three now is where I
watched it, and it's probably on a couple of other platforms.
If it's on three, it's probably on Neon as well.
It was really good, really enjoyed it. There's a few
issues with the platform itself which were frustrating, but it
is funny. I know how hard a pilot is, and

(16:56):
I still enjoyed it. You know how they're trying to
cram all the Info and there for you and next
It's really good and I'm looking forward to more Sandy.
There was only one episode available. I'd give it a
three and a half busies out of a possible five
on three. Now get into it, but I'd also probably
recommend waiting until there's a couple of episodes available, which
I think would be by next next When next Monday,

(17:20):
I think the next one comes out.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Yeah, great stuff, mogie.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Now, last night I was feeling very fatigued and I
just wanted an easy night, so I got the fried
rice and dumplings and I just wanted some easy viewing,
so I got the old VHS tapes up and watched
ole reruns of The Ditch. I don't know if you
guys have heard of that show. It's it was a
kind of it was a show about rugby league here

(17:45):
and across in Australia there, Buddy could actually I found
it really enjoyable.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Oh, because that's how I taped it.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
And yeah, I mean, if you're in love for your
rugby league, I don't understand what it's still not going.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
To be honest.

Speaker 6 (18:01):
Yeah, can I ask you, Jose, was it season one
or season two?

Speaker 3 (18:04):
This season really Yeah. Yeah, it just went off and
very enjoyable.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
And it really gets step inside my goat when you
know you have a winning formula like that and then
it gets ditched.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
The ditch four busies.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Four busies, Jason, of course, referring to the show that
I was on that got canceled.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Well, I first got set.

Speaker 6 (18:27):
You got set first, and then they canceled it up,
and then they had another season and then they and that's.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Why they got canceled, made a massive mistake, thank you.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
What was the what were they actually talking about on?
It was the guests? Oh it was.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
I always forget this guy's name, but listen, I want
to take up your time here, Kizy. No, you're good,
No mate, I know that you're itching at the bit
you are? What's an old dear?

Speaker 5 (18:57):
Oh god? He always does just to me, It just
slips my mind, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Whenever I think of this particular ages.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
LORI daily he wasn't on What are you talking about?
What the bloody hell was I watching?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
The whole actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio HOD.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Actually welcome back your massive backbones, Hope, you're surviving your
Tuesday afternoon. You are listening to the big show brought

Speaker 5 (19:32):
Crave with the street food freshly made with Reburg Year
goes on that way, doesn't it? The dog? Yeah? Could you?

Speaker 4 (19:48):
It's irritating me Fellers, just on the food front. At
some stage in this hour, I want to talk to
you about my food and take at the moment because
something developing. You know, you know that I have an
addictive nature, yeah, busies or as as Patson like to say,

(20:09):
I'm beginning to develop a bit of a winter pelt,
yes about himself, not about me. And and I've realized that,
you know, because I am an addictive type personality, that
I'm going for very similar foods.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Very very often. And I think I'm out of control.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
Yeah you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Yeah, I mean sure, we can talk about that if
you want to. I think you look great man, and
I am getting busies.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
The trouble with Kezy, of course, is it's hard to
take him seriously because he's a feeder. He's a feeder,
and a feeder is somebody that likes to fatten somebody up, yes,
and then hits them with positive reinforcements, so they feel
good about that, and eventually the only person that will
love them is the person that's giving them the.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
Positive reinforcement, which it was. So he's trying to isolate you,
isolate you.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Up, and then it'll be like the Witch and Hansel
and Griddle. Yes, I'll cook you into a pie.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
I just had this vision for some reason this morning
when I was in my kitchen, and it was of
Houghty Jane as Togs on the beach with massive man buzzies,
just going damn you, Keezy, damn you.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
There wasn't a vision, man, there was a reflection. You're
gonna get words mixed up again. Hey, you should we
go into a tune able to rage wade out.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Week the Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy
tune in.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
Four on radio.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Indeed, Kings of Leon on the Whoarchy Big Show this
Tuesday afternoon.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Philla's got a bone pick?

Speaker 1 (21:42):
I got a bone appit it's with a certain member
of the Hiducky Big Show. And I hate doing this,
you know, I hate picking bones with my colleagues. And
sure some colleagues get more bone picked than other colleagues.
Jays Jays, Yes, are you going to pay for your
golf membership? Now?

Speaker 3 (22:02):
What's going on a Kezy? I went a bone to pick?

Speaker 5 (22:05):
Well, hang on, I'm picking your bone. You can't. I
got a bone to pit. Now.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
I've noticed a prevailing theme and bones to pick what
from both of you, which is, when there is a
bone to be picked, it tends to be hardy Jay's bone.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
That's because I'm boneless man years two.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
I would appreciate it if there's in future bones to
peck that you choose another member of the big show too.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
But you can go back to your bone.

Speaker 6 (22:34):
I have had bones to pick with Kezy, in particular
the way that he behaves in my dreams.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Oh fear, that's a dream that doesn't make any sense
at all.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
Yeah, but it's felthy though, and I can see why
it would upset Mogi. But anyway, back to your bone
to pick, You've got a bone to pick.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
So Jason and I are members of the same golf course,
right Mogi years we play out there. We're now over
the one year mark, so our memberships have come up
one again.

Speaker 6 (23:01):
You don't play much, so do you. I can understand
why Jason is reluctant to pay for membership.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Thank you, magie.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Well, actually we haven't played much because he sold his
place and then I've sold my plate. It's been a
very busy time. But now we're back in action. Oh yeah,
point of ordermist to speaking. What I haven't sold my place?

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Actually, oh, you've rented out. Yeah, he's rented out.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Sorry, Oh that explains everything.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
Then, don't worry about the membership.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
But what's happened is the second year membership's come up,
I've gone, hey, man, you're going to join? Is like, yeah,
I'm keen to stick around. So I've gone cool, paid
my money, hundreds of dollars. I've paid it. Now Jason
is like refusing to pay his.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
He's got your beauty there.

Speaker 6 (23:39):
Actually, Well, Jason and I have been having a chat
on the side because I'm keen to get into golf. Yeah,
and given Jason is now in town, we were thinking
we might join up out at Takapooni here, which is
just over the bridge, not much closer for us.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
Hasn't it us down to the ground Jason, Yeah, totally, mate.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
It just makes sense because what I've realized.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Of course, now that I don't know if you guys
know this, but I live in the CBD.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
Now it makes sense to me.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Takapoona obviously match closer, much easier. Yeah, yeah, Mogi and
I have decided to go Tackapoona.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Right, Okay, Well you couldn't have told me that before
I paid hundreds of dollars.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
Hundreds, Well that was what you call what do you
call it? A prank? Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Well can I put it this way? Kezy, I could
have told you.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
But you did it. There was a prank, was it?
There's a prank? So now you've got a membership out
there and it's cost you hundreds of dollars. Yeah, so
so what you're not playing out there anymore? You've done.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Very heilly out those ways keys and.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
Right, okay, so my hip's playing app Yeah that's true.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Your hips don't lie either, Jay, So okay, I've been prank?
Then does that mean I have to move in with
my mum and Huntley as the hell.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarkies.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
Indeed, Cake there on the Hodarky Big Show this Tuesday evening.
Another coat is in progress, Fellas and all the listeners
out there sending in their favorite tunes of all time.

Speaker 5 (25:06):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
You vote for the goat, which is our Hodarcky countdown,
which kicks off in a couple of weeks time. You
vote by texting goat to three four eight three. We
hit you with a link. You follow the link to vote. There,
you give us your three favorite tunes, your three nominations
for this year, and you help us sort the fellers
from the killers fellas. That's kicking off August seventeenth, which
is Monday morning, nine am sharp.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Good, So we're currently corelating the votes there, and I've
just realized we haven't actually discussed what our goats are. Yeah, then,
so today we may as well get the ball rolling
in Mogi. You volunteered to go first.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Yeah, man, I'll go first. We get to pick three,
don't we That's right, which is which is a good amount.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
Every year it changes. There's a bit of one goat.
You can only have one go How does it change you? You, Well,
you're feeling you grow older, and as you grow older,
you discover more music. And as you go old, you
also have listened to old music more and you bit
over that now, So all sorts of things change. It's
the same for me, as with a favorite movie, that'll change.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
So anyway.

Speaker 6 (26:01):
My first one is from the album never Mind. That's
by That's Nirvana. I don't know if you know that
never releases a single, but one of the most popular live.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
Tracks that is Breed. I love the guitar then had
the drums and they had the bass. That's great production.
They're easy.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Bruce Vegg, this is one of my favorite bloody good tune.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
You know, I'm fifteen years old when this comes out,
and I am absolutely.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
That is an absolute tune. That's Breed from Navana. Mogi's
number one.

Speaker 5 (26:46):
Now from my favorite live band of all times, the
best act I've ever seen. And the reason why they
were the best was partly because they're amazing, but also
because I hated them when I saw them, and they
completely changed my mind when I saw them. This is
from Invaders Must Die and the band is Prodigy and
the song is omen It's weird.

Speaker 6 (27:22):
I'm fifty but on coming up fifty and I'm forty
nine and you can't help the music that you love
and it's it's pretty full on. It seems weird for
an old person to be into, but I guess that's
how it goes.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
You never stop rocking.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Yeah, thanks, You're not just an old person, You're old Mog.
I'm old Mogi and old loves his prodigy. And finally
I got put onto this. Recently, I was listening to
a podcast and it was it's a really good podcast.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
I like it. Anon Buxton is the guy's name, British. British, Yeah, yeah,
he does.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
He does a great podcast, really cool. And he was
talking to somebody and he was talking about trying to
bond with his kids, with their teenagers, yes.

Speaker 5 (27:59):
And that that I want to know about it.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
He picked them up from school and he'd be really
antagonistic and sarcas because every time he picked them up,
they would never communicate.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Oh, how was your day good? What'd you learn? Nothing?

Speaker 6 (28:09):
Exactly what I was like as a teenager. So then
he started trying to communicate to them through music. Yes,
And he remembers distinctly putting on this track by Booker
T and the MG's called Green Onions and looking in
the rearview mirror and his son going from a miserable
little bastard to absolutely loving it, and them saying what
do you think about this?

Speaker 5 (28:28):
And I'm going, yeah, this is good. This is one
of the all time great tunes, one of the chute.

Speaker 6 (28:34):
And the amazing thing about this written by Booker T
when he was seventeen years old. Wow, seventeen years old.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
And the great thing about this, said is is no lyrics.
It's just pure instrumental. It is pure vibe. And this
is pretty much what goes through my head most of
the day. If I'm having a good day, Yeah, then
I think you're a bit of a bad man. Then
when you're listening to this.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
I attempted to do the same with my kids, right,
connect with them for you through music. Yeah, and I
played them some of my chums. They never spoke to
me again.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
No, that's right. I can understand they moved out. Yeah, yeah,
I probably would as well.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Jason, what's your goat the New Zealand text Go to
three four eight three, follow the link to vote, or
you can get a Hurdarchy dot co dot.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Ins The Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hode.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
Indeed, Nirvana there on the hod Archy Big Show this
Tuesday evening. Now, we had the news yesterday Keysy's racing
pigeon that he invested in Keysy on All Wings looking
over as big with me looking as big big.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
That's the one Jay's great name.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Isn't it is a shame bollock disgrace.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
I think the name that that stinger is a bit
It over sells the reality of what this bird is. Yeah,
sound cool and tough and like it's got talent where
it's sort of like a but you know what should
be as back paddic. I don't know what you do
with a BD. It doesn't seem like back Padic's the
right idea.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Look, there's eight races. It's raised in one race, okay,
out of a field of one hundred and fifteen pigeons.
Sure it came in the nineties. Yeah, it came in
the nineties, but that's its first race.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Can I just say I had a little word pigeon Tim,
the guy that actually runs the race after the show yesterday,
because I am kind of intrigued by the whole process. Now,
in fairness to Keezy on all wings looking over his
beat with me, Kezy, what apparently happened Mogi at the
start of the race is he went in the wrong
direction and just went to do straight into the back

(30:41):
of the pen there and smacked his noggin day flew
out while everyone else, all the other pigeons flew out
straight away. He went backwards and straight into the back
of the What do you.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
Call that release people, coop. Yes, I've been working on it.
I've had a few phone conversations with Kezy all wings
looking over his beak with me, Keasy with pigeon, you know,
pretty down, he's pretty down. He feels like he's he's
let Kezy down. Obviously not so much because we're not
invested in it, Jace. But I've sort of had a
chat to Keezy on or wings looking over his beak

(31:14):
with me Keesy and said to him, you've really got
to try and do some slip streaming. Yes, and that
means getting him behind the flock, finding the dead ear
there and you can really just coast off the back
of the other pigeons while they're getting tired and then
over the last sort of thirty to fifty k's that's
when you make your move.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
What I want because I was having a little word
to him as well this morning, charm to the pigeon.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
Yes, having a little chat to the pigeon there, Mogi,
because he was talking about that very thing that you
were saying in the slip stream, and he said he's
such a fat bastard that what ends up happening is
all the other pigeons slipstream with him because.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
He's said that he's fat, he's.

Speaker 6 (31:52):
And outside of the fact that he's a bit of
a unit because of course the bread and fed and captivity.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
Yes, he's not very bright, thick, he's dumb.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
Yes, hence you know, flying into the back of the pen,
he came straight out, straight into a lamp post. He
sort of came to after that, straight into a window,
sort of a listening of errors. And then of course
he's a unit as well, so it's really hard once
he hits a deck to get up in the air again.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
So yeah, it's difficult for him. So I don't know.
I think it's all in front of him for sure,
But I'm not sure that he's going to get better
over longer distances because for the listeners listeners out there,
that last race was one fifty, it gets they get
further and third they get longer and longer as we progress.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
That's right, when you need to discuss fellows, when do we say, hey,
enough is enough with this page had one race, if
it comes in the night and I hang on, it's
got another race in two weeks, if it comes in
the nineties or worse again, is it like, Hey, this
thing's not worth our time and we you know.

Speaker 6 (32:49):
Well, look, I'll be honest with you, Keezy. I hate
hearing you talk like that because you've.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Made a commitment here, you have made an investment here.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
You need to see it through. So this always chat
about quitting. I don't like it. And if and if
you know, keysy on all wings looking over his beak
with me, Kezy hears about this, he's going to.

Speaker 4 (33:08):
Be because he's already feeling I mean he's been of
a do brain, but I mean he's already feeling bad
about it, probably because.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
You guys are sitting here calling him fat and dump.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Well that's because he threw it to the back of
the pen and hurt his head.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
He doesn't listen to Radio Hodeck. Are you kidding me? Right?
What does he listen to? Another station?

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Coast?

Speaker 5 (33:26):
I think.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
The hurd Chy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
Welcome Back your Massive Backbones.

Speaker 5 (33:37):

Speaker 3 (33:38):

Speaker 4 (33:40):
You're listening to the big show, by the way, brought
to you by Rebururger.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Yes, Reburger and the handcrafted burgers, loaded fries, angle mate
eats that will change the burger game. Do you like
the amount of sort of spice I put on that
just then? I put some extra extra love into reading those?
Did you did you notice nobody you always to such
a high level anyway?

Speaker 5 (34:00):
Easy? Yeah? True, Yeah, totally totally.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Hey, speaking of food, Maggie, what are you running with tonight?

Speaker 6 (34:06):
Ooh, she's a good quick I've got absolutely no idea.
I had leftover hot pot last night. I was going
to have something for lunch, but I forgot, so it's
probably gonna be more. There's quite a bit left. Yeah,
you que left.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
You know you're you know how you're going to sort
that out? Invite the old hot pot hoover around. Yeah,
the hot pot hoover. It's not a bad idea. Just
release the pig in the in the kitchen there.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
Yeah, we've got We've got a lot of everything, although
it did lack a bit of spice comparatively, which was
a shame.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
I'm gonna be honest, Magie, Seriously, I said to my
wife this morning, my stomach.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
This is what.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Forty eight hours later, my stomach is still a bit weird,
like it forever altered the pH levels.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
Of my yah.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
I mean, we've got pegs in the big studio. They're
shaking his head. Guys, I don't think this is a
you know, I don't think it's a hot pot issue.
I think this is a keasy issue totally.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
Are you kidding me? Now?

Speaker 4 (34:56):
You're going to the Pie Awards tonight, Casey. Do they
serve pies or is it like a flash meal?

Speaker 1 (35:02):
Jase, hold on to your hat mate that you wear
every single day, despite saying you're not going anymore.

Speaker 5 (35:06):
It's cold out there, Keezy.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Not only do they have pies, they also do the
three course fancy meal.

Speaker 5 (35:12):
So that's to begin with.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
While the awards are having them on the way out,
once you've had a skin full, responsible you grab pies
out of the warm.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
Pies for dessert.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
Yeah, how good pie the old taxi. Oh yeah, yeah,
it's a tradition. What are you having, Jace, hot pot?

Speaker 5 (35:27):
No? I probably have a fruit salad.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Really, maybe just a really light salad and some fruit
salad for dessert.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
Yeah. Nice, that's the way to do it. You get
a fruit flavored frozen yogurt.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Man, with a bit of frozen yogurt on top of.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
It, maybe a couple of toffee pots.

Speaker 5 (35:46):
Toffee is that one of the topics?

Speaker 4 (35:47):
And then some bread with some toast with peanut. Yeah, yeah,
now you're talking. Just sip it into some of that.
Gave us gone.

Speaker 2 (36:00):

Speaker 5 (36:53):

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Nothing like a bit of pie meet to really burn
the crap out of your mouth.

Speaker 5 (37:53):

Speaker 1 (38:43):

Gif here homemade fish burgers for dinner with eggs Wilson.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
Yes, are the eggs and the fish booger or separate.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
Na eggs and fresh fish egg That's a that's a classic.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
I do like an egg and a fish pie.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
That's a completely different thing. Well, I mean you know,
it's still the completely different thing. It's still the same
really even food, Uh the gold He'll be stoked to

Speaker 2 (40:04):
The hold aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodak.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Guerrilla's there on the Hodarky Big Show this Tuesday evening,
We're up Too.

Speaker 5 (40:17):
Fast Brewery.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
That's right every single day and the lead up to
Beer Vanna at Henry Stadium in Wellington, which is happening
later this month, we put a spotlight on a different
brewery who will have an exhibit at today Fellers straight
out of Queenstown. The brewery of the day is Canyon Brewing.
I've been there right by the odd shot of a jet.
It's bringing a ta it is, yeah, bringing a taste

(40:46):
to the South to be a Vanna. They're making their
festival debut which is bloody exciting, inspired by Wild Places,
Big landscapes and good times. These legends are all about
brewing beers with a sense of adventure. Now they're also
brewed side the mighty Shotover River the canyon. There they
create beers packed with character, from crisp easy drinkers to
bold bruise that bring plenty of flavor.

Speaker 5 (41:09):
Bring what what? Bold bruise that bring plenty of flavor?
That's not what you said plenty? I thought that was
part of their stick.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
No, it's nice. I'm made a mistake. Oh yeah, sorry, Phela.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
That's okay, man. They're going to bring a little bit
of queens Down adventure to beer Barner. Is that right?

Speaker 3 (41:26):
That sounds great?

Speaker 5 (41:27):
Did you do that? I feel like you've just done
a Shotover top of it. I did the Hooker Jet.

Speaker 6 (41:34):
It was good, And in fact, I'm going down to
Queenstown and I think I might do do that one.

Speaker 5 (41:41):
The Shotover. The Shotover.

Speaker 6 (41:42):
I'veknew done the Shotover, And given that the Shotover is
right next door to canyon, I'll pop him there for a.

Speaker 5 (41:47):
Few few nerve settlers.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
Yeah, yeah, great idea magie.

Speaker 4 (41:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (41:53):
Well, what I've sort of learned, and especially with having
The kid is you've got to get a little bit
of tourism involved. You know, previously my tourism has involved
only going to the breweries. But we're gonna we can
get some other things happening, and then you've got an
excuse to go.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
To the breweries.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
Like you could go to the luge down there, catch
the god lap to the top yet steamed, put her
Maggie and on the old lose there Bob's your uncle
Hates are on sale for beer Varna Bervarna dot co
dot in z. We'll see you down there as well.
That's happening later on in August. I get stuck in Beautiful.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
Feelings The Darky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Tune in week days and four on Radio Holdarchy.

Speaker 4 (42:38):
Is indeed skid row there on the Hodarchy Big Show.
There's Tuesday evening now Big Night tonight for the folks
at Radio Holdarky.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
Not too much has OGGI.

Speaker 4 (42:49):
We've got our wires cross reed tonight, big celebration, the
Pie Awards scutting and apparently are there aren't any seats
for us, which is just bagger.

Speaker 6 (43:00):
Well, it's you know, it's a little bit hurtful. You know,
we like to be included in these things, and this
you we didn't even receive an invitation. Yeah, you know,
that's you and me. Jake's keesy. Of course he got
his invite page everybody.

Speaker 5 (43:13):
I guess.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
And my wife asked the same question. She's like, who's
going tonight? And I was like, oh, pretty much, every Oh,
Jason might now they were invited, and she's like, oh,
why not? And then I said, because I've said no
to the last five. And then she said, oh, you
know that's fair enough, But.

Speaker 5 (43:28):
What does she know about it? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (43:30):
Now, listen, I just want to do a bit of
a check in because obviously the world doesn't stop tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
Mogi, No, it doesn't. Know.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
There's still work to be done, there's still shows to be.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
Made, and I today is Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
It's Tuesday, for goodness sakes. And I it's this gut
instinct that I have with Keysy has a look in
his iron. I've seen it with pugs as well, actually,
a certain look in their eye, which is I'm going
beg tonight.

Speaker 5 (43:57):
Yeah, look I am going. Really, I've got to say
that gut instinct of yours is bang on. Yeah, because
it is. It looks I'm not gonna lie. It's a
formal event.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
You put your suit on, you sit at a nice
table of eight of you, and it's you know, I'm
sitting at the table with all the lovely people from
the Hodaky office, a couple of winners as well, and
it's free booze and free food all night, and it's nice.

Speaker 5 (44:19):
It's like a three course meal. It's absolutely amazing.

Speaker 4 (44:21):
I just want to check in a bit of a
mental health check in actually, just because I just want
to make sure you're in a good space before you
go out and before the just go loose, because just
I've just had a few concerns of late.

Speaker 5 (44:39):
Right now, mag I mean, do I look like I'm
in a good space?

Speaker 6 (44:41):
Well, I'm a bet worried about that jacket. He's all
dressed up, he's ready to go.

Speaker 5 (44:47):
Now.

Speaker 6 (44:47):
I haven't seen this jacket before. No, but that tells
me he's not bothered about throwing up tonight. That hell,
what the hell does that mean?

Speaker 5 (44:54):
This is my new here. If you get it filthy,
that's yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
Well you won't know it's time the water. You wouldn't it,
would you.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
It's like a bus seat, a little potentially make them
wacky so that you can't see the stains.

Speaker 6 (45:06):
Yeah, that's the whole idea conversation starter. But I am
worried that you're going to turn up here tomorrow. You're
going to be naisially, You're going to be a little
bit down on energy. With a little bit of volies. Yeah,
it will be absolutely cooked. So you know, my concerner
is only for the audience and the show.

Speaker 5 (45:24):
If that does happen, fellas, is that all g.

Speaker 4 (45:30):
Well, look, I've got to be honest with your Keysy.
It won't be the first time that I've carried you
on my broad and mush muscular shoulders.

Speaker 3 (45:42):
But you know you have a good time to be safe.

Speaker 6 (45:45):
I think the trip will be as and you know
I worry about you, about you and your state of mind.
So if we start the show off tomorrow where they
go easy on Keysy, yes, we get people to text
on three four eight three, just flickers of text to
make sure old Keys is feeling better.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
And you've given him as a bought. So if we
started like that, then I'm happy for you to get
on it. Maybe do like three mental health checks just
to make sure all good. Yeah, No, that'll be fine man.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
The whole king Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
Hold ikey, well, there you go, your mad bastards.

Speaker 4 (46:23):
That's the Big Show, done and dusted for your choosday night.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
In the podcast outro today, we were reliving.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
Our past dramatic histories fellas, our involvement and debates and
dramas and all sorts.

Speaker 5 (46:35):
What's the outro clip you've got today?

Speaker 1 (46:38):
Keezy features exactly that Jace. You guys reminiscing about debating
back in the day.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
I used to do debating as well, and I used
to hate debating girls because they were always so especially
darcists in school for girls, because they were they always
had like really clever little riddles, right.

Speaker 5 (47:01):
Bet and you go yeah what yeah?

Speaker 3 (47:06):
The Ultimating Days a movie.

Speaker 5 (47:08):
Yeah, it's good stuff. Of course at the time everyone
thought you were a messive nerd. But look at us now. Totally,
you guys are cool now, totally. Hey, can we wrap
this shut up? A sure?

Speaker 3 (47:20):
Mogi? Are your plans tonight?

Speaker 5 (47:22):
Mate?

Speaker 6 (47:22):
Dam I'm not sure. Actually I'm not sure. Go home
and real let's say read a book.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Yeah, okay, okay, see all the best for tonight, mate. Yeah,
good luck.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
I'm not up for any awards, but just in just
waking up feeling like, yeah right for a second that
you guys just I was up for an award at
the Pie Awards, but I don't make pies, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 5 (47:49):
Yeah, man, sure, yeah, no, It's gonna be great.

Speaker 1 (47:52):
I might be a bit dusty tomorrow, fellers, but as
always I will come and professional to go, full of
ideas and.

Speaker 5 (48:00):
Your good stuff. What are you doing side, Jason.

Speaker 4 (48:02):
It's actually fortuitous that it all fell through for me
because my wife and I forgot. We've booked a dinner together,
a romantic evening and then a stroll around the harbour side,
maybe a bit of gentle love making. So anyway, make
sure you check out the Instagram, check out the podcast
