Speaker 1 (00:00):
The hob Aking Big Show thanks to crape Worthy street
food freshly made with Reburger.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Welcome, this is big show, really, Jason hits and cheesy.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
I'm good at your mad Bars. It's great to have
your company.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I'm this very very very gloomy Friday afternoon.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Oh what's the take today?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
The fourth of June six, and you, my friends, is
always listening to the Big Show.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Brought to you by Rebuger.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
Beef, chicken, vegan and Vegetarian options. Reburger are redefining the norm.

Speaker 6 (00:43):
On You've gotta put a bit into it, man, I
mean you're making me want to go home and never
buy anything again. The point is to get sales up
for Reburger, not make people never want to have Reburger
ever again. So we'll just try that again, man, okay.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Brought to you by Rebuger.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Beef, Chicken, vegan and vegetarian options. Reburger are redefining the norm.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
I think that's as good as we're going to get.

Speaker 7 (01:05):
Yeh.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I don't think we need to push him any more.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Moogie, tell you what mates, you're looking in Fine Phil
in your tidy, whitey Hell's life.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
You're mad but pretty grouse are you mad dog?

Speaker 6 (01:14):
Your six son of a b I'm just bathing in
the after glove of the New Zealand Radio and Podcast
Awards twenty twenty six that were held last night. Jace,
we went along, didn't we to the event?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
There?

Speaker 6 (01:25):
The awards, the first time I've ever been, I think
possibly the second time you've been in fifteen years. What
an occasion. I feel so grateful to be a part
of this industry and that really was the night of nights.
You were there as well, Kezy, How are you feeling?

Speaker 5 (01:39):
Yeah, I'm feeling really great. Obviously, the awards are just
a small part of it. It's what you do after
the awards that really leaves a lasting memory.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, well, do you really have any memory? No, I do.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
I've a very good I've had a great time last night. Yeah,
and three am this morning, I was in my lounge
eating reburger.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
Yeah, I've sort of when you say that, I don't
know if you remember the images the video, the viral
video that came out maybe fifteen maybe twenty years ago
of David Hasselhoff. The video was taken he came home
absolutely hammered, was lying on the floor with his shirt off,
eating a burger, dropping most of it onto the carpet.

(02:20):
And that's what I see when I think of you
at home eating reburger at three am. Is it about right?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:26):
I reckon, that's probably about right, and then quickly brushing
my teeth and hopping to bed.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
With just like meat patty all over here.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
Yeah it's also, Hey, didn have a yearl with my message.

Speaker 7 (02:39):
I'm not a angle, but yes, better busy thembor jay.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
How are you today?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Man?

Speaker 6 (02:49):
Yeah? Good?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Thank you can't complain. Thank you new shirt? Of course
you guys haven't noticed. I surprised you always be that shirt.
It's actually not a new shirts second hand ship, but
it's the first time I've worn it.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
It's pretty cool. A.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Well, they can't all be winners, man, Yeah that's true.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
Hey, now listen, we have a massive show, as you
gonna imagine, so I want you.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
To know we are not going to be half asking
the show just because Kezy is an absolute shadow of himself.
This is going to be the best show of the year,
So stay tuned, Stay tuned.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah, and speaking of do you want me to play
the coming up in the show?

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Do?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Look, I can't be bothered, really.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Sorry, I've already fired it off.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Well, it's a Friday, that means it's time for a throbber.
And no, I'm not talking about Kesey's headache. Yeah, but
mostly we're going to be going over raking over the
coals of the Radio Awards last night. Asking a question.
We've got a big pole coming up next, and you
want to get involved with it, because I'll be honest
with you, I'm not sure having Keezy here is the

(04:01):
best thing for the show.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
What do you mean? I'm sweet?

Speaker 6 (04:05):
He is at albatross around our Neck's gonna put it
that way.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I have never seen him a lot more pale and
green around the gills as I have today.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
I normally don't recommend people take sick days because they
are hungover. Yes, but I don't know man, Well.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
You could tell me I came in great today.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
This is a tune though comfortably shacked.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
That's how I feel right now.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
He is indeed velvet revolver.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Friday afternoon.
The time is thirteen minutes past four o'clock, which means
it's time for.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Let's cut to the chase.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
There was the Radio Awards last night, Old Magie and
I went along, the whole team went. In fact, it
was great eight, but Mogi and I did not participate
in the after party, of which Kezy did vigorously.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Yeah, so there's an after party, and then there's an
after after party.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
There were two after parties.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
And then we sort of ended up in Glane's hotel
room at about two three am in the morning, right, okay, yeah, yeah, So.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
It's fair to say Kesey's a broken man.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I mean, I mean, he's so broken what that.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Mogi and I have had a little discussion about whether
or not we need to sort of have him here
a little vomit in the corner just before, in a
little bucket. He's pale, he's he looks very sad and broken.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
He's got his hoodie up.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
He does.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
So the big poll today is very very simple. Should
we send Kezy home?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (05:52):
Or no?

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Can I just say I don't want to be sent
home like I'm here.

Speaker 6 (05:55):
To do you This has got nothing to do with
what you want. Rights of the show Kesey. Now, the
only thing that sort of I don't know, it gives
me pause, Jason, if I could put it that way,
is why should we reward Kezy for his bad behavior?
That's true, But at the same time, why should we
punish the audience?

Speaker 5 (06:13):
Yes, I would argue that having me here, admittedly not
feeling the best, and having the full team together is
better than me not being here.

Speaker 6 (06:24):
Yeah, that makes me think that you're probably still still.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Yeah, that's same, same, right, Well that's.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Three four eight three. Feel free to text your opinions.
I mean, I think I sound all right.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Look, the only thing is, the only redeeming feature potentially,
is that people love it when Kezy is massively.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Hungover, you know what I mean, and they might go no,
I want.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
To see him dragged out over the hours doing live radio,
feeling like a piece of excrement.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Okay, Well, we'll do a big poll the Hducky Big
Show Instagram story. You can vote there now.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
Of course, the other problem is that we can't have
a binding referendum because actually, whether the audience think he
should go home or not, whether we think he should
go home or not, we don't actually have the power
to send him home. No, so potentially we should call
your boss.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Why. I just don't think it's as big of a deal. Why,
I don't you know what I mean, I'm here, I know.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
But that's the thing easy. Sometimes when you're sitting inside
your head, you don't see things as they actually are.
And we wouldn't be bringing this up if you were
in an absolute disgrace of a shambles. I mean, this
is the worst one ever.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
What, No, it's not.

Speaker 7 (07:41):
There's quite a few to compare it to a shocking.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Then we give Toddy Osie Toddy to a ring. We'll
get him on the line next day and see what
he reckons. Because I think, you know, after what was
pretty glorious evening last night, we won a few awards there,
you know, the whole thing just gets dragged down again.
You know, people see, oh hoag is won if you

(08:09):
might tune in, and this is what they get.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Yeah, yeah, totally yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
I mean it has left a pretty bit of taste
in my mouth. Although it could just be some sick
coming up. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Yeah, yeah, it's a bit of bile. I think you'll
find kezy three.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Four eight three give your opinion.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
You're going to go again? Get rid of You're going again?

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Ah ah, Come on man, Smashing Pumpkins.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarkey.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
The Black Keys Here on the Radio Hodarkey Big Show
this Friday afternoon. The time is twenty four minutes past
four o'clock. Kezy's having a shaka. He went to both
after parties last night and he's really feeling it today.
The big pole there four was should we just seen
Keezy home?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Yes? Or no?

Speaker 5 (09:03):
I personally feel fine. Yeah, I also think you know,
it's certainly the early days as far as this particular
show is concerned. I've still got time to prove myself.
But we also asked for text on three four eight
three and they're coming in, which is really great. Like
this one here, Keezy sounds like shit, but that's good stuff.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
I mean, that sums it up for me.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Piss up front up, Keezy. He needs to deal with
it and be a backbone. That's from Tom Macbone. Get
rid of the bastard. It's from Taine. This sounds like
Mike and Jay's trying to boot Kezy off the show.
So there's less competition for the throbber. A bit of
a conspiracy theory there. John says, send them home now,

(09:42):
or I'm switching to the breeze. Someone suggesting that I
stand you guys go home. Oh yes, I like that too. Yeah,
it's good. It's going to just be solo Kezy sort of.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
Just like The Night Show all over again.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah, that was ratings winner.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
How damn man, That night Show was bloody great and
thank you.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
I think that was the last time the Night Show
there was ever done. Wasn't it CAZy? You got sent
home from the Night Show and then they just sort
of wrapped it up.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Sent home for the Night Show.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I started on the Big Show literally mid show.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Really yeah, remember they came in and you.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Were mid show and they said, we're shutting it down,
pack it up. Let's go, Well, what do we do
about this fellowship?

Speaker 6 (10:28):
Maybe well, I think we'll the problem we've got with
the Big Pot and please continue voting. Head over the
Heache Big Show Instagram page and get involved. Also seend
Kezy a message on Instagram and just tell him what
a shocking bastard is. But I think we need to
talk to the person who's got the power, and that
is our boss, Asie Todd the mad bastard.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Yeah, you want me to call him?

Speaker 6 (10:49):
Well, I think I mean yes, yes, please and see
if we can get well at least get his opinion. Yeah,
because I don't think he's a weird Hello.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah is that title?

Speaker 8 (11:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Good a Toddy? Yeah, Tody here and the fiels from
the picture. This isn't mate, Sorry for disturbing you. We
know that you're off home, but not work.

Speaker 9 (11:10):
Actually I've just left the office all.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Right, Okay you're still working. Yeah, yeah, sounds like work, Toddy. Listen,
kesies a shambles and.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
We're just wondering Moki and I with a little better off,
just sort of cutting our losses here and moving on.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
What do you mean like anymo? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (11:29):
Well maybe seeing him home?

Speaker 3 (11:30):
How many?

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Seriously, Toddy, he's a shocking barton At the moment he's
done a couple of chanders in the corner of the studio.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
Fellow, Could I be honest?

Speaker 9 (11:40):
Yeah, I went out to last night. I didn't go
back to the Lane's hotel and played little spoon.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Like he probably did.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
But you make your decisions, and so is he that bad?
Like the easy because I haven't been listening to the
last or whatever.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
Hate Todd. Now I'm feeling I personally think I'm feeling good.
I'm sounding good. I've got good content.

Speaker 9 (12:03):
Someone says they've got good content.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know they've got nothing.

Speaker 9 (12:07):
Yeah, nothing of the tech, mate, You know what, here's
the thing. Look, I'm an empathetic person, but I've got
to say this. I'm just sussed out that Puzzard is
not there. And I got fun some yarn about some friggin'
wedding that's all be there. So I know that he's
not turned up.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
What is it with you?

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Channel gen Z you're just this week channels?

Speaker 9 (12:27):
Well you're gen Z like Mogi point Todd gen X
hard go hard, play hard, turn up.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
Yeah right, So I mean, look, Todd, for the record,
I don't I don't want to go home, you know
I love It.

Speaker 9 (12:39):
May make you sound disgrace, you sound shocking.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Said.

Speaker 9 (12:43):
The fading thing is, Mate, you're put in for a
day's leave off in June thirties ago, and see someone
who has thought died one hundred years ago, then you're
very dump and digs or whatever is and so mate,
like it's just a constant I want to do less
so anyway.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
I can hear it in your boys.

Speaker 9 (13:00):
The people are texting you.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Mate, you just you know.

Speaker 9 (13:02):
I know it sounds bad, but like you just got
to get through it.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Mate, You've got to do.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
That's what we're telling you, Tony, to let you down.

Speaker 9 (13:10):
But you just got to play a song Jenner power
rating you. I don't care, do a line of coke, whatever,
Just get through it, mate. You've got no idea how
hard me and Moji and Hoyd have got through some
of the worst ship for our life, right young, it's
a life lesson for you.

Speaker 6 (13:30):
Hey, Tony, just out of interest, where are you.

Speaker 9 (13:34):
I'm at a we got a post strategy meeting after
the I'm around the shop that I'm around the corner
of the chicken shop.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
I'm like, yeah, all right, Tony.

Speaker 9 (13:45):
Still going hard so ez, I'm going to check the
video cameras and if you're not walking out that door,
Joe Rodell will check for me. If you're not walking
out that door at five past seven, trouble for you.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
How yep, you got it, Todd. You know me. I'm
a cut man, mate. You enjoy your your meeting there
at the pub.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
All right, yeah, all right, thanks Joy. All right, well there,
gay fellows. I mean that's pretty It is what it is,
isn't it. I'm just gonna have to get.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
And I guess it will just be the audience that
pays the price, right as usual?

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Yes, pretty much.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
The Hilarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Four on Radio Chemical Brothers there on the Radio Hodarchy
Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is fourth Andy eight.
We're going to do a bit of sports chat before
we do. Fellas just chatting to old Mike Klaim there
from the head of the A C. C. And the
studio there has got a commentary to do tonight. He's
not stoked about it.

Speaker 7 (14:41):
Nah.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
He was lying on the couch and the beach a lounge.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yes, he was with like pillows over his head. But
let's have sport chat.

Speaker 7 (14:57):
What Yeah, yeah, well we've got to start with the cricket.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
I think Fellas started overnight to Apple Lords New Zealand
versus England.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
One word carnage.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
Absolute carnage. Jay. Yeah, you know, things are looking pretty good.
I actually forgot about it until I woke up and
it was still on when I woke up. Yes, so
I managed to bang it on there. But you know,
things are looking pretty good when we managed to roll
England for one hundred and forty for one hundred and
forty runs in just thirty nine overs. Yeah, And then

(15:33):
of course New Zealand had to bet. And this is
the trouble, isn't it. It's all well and good, getting
all hyped up and enjoying yourself when somebody else is
playing like garbage, but you have to remind yourself that
you've got a bet on that pitch as well. Yes,
And sure enough, by the end of the day, New
Zealand had limped their way to sixty one for six
So sixteen wickets falling across a day that was interrupted

(15:53):
at least twice by rain yes, and ended by rain yes.
I think it's an absolute disgrace that at Lord's you
can have a pitch that was doing that. I really do.
It's like this is you know, it's meant to be
a Test over five days. I get so exciting, isn't it.
That's great? But who wants Nobody wants to see sixteen

(16:15):
wickets fall on the first over Test at Lord.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
No, they don't, And I totally agree with you.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
They weren't out by the conditions obviously, but that very
first ball of the Test match ankle high and it's like,
come on, man, and they were talking it was a
shitter of a pitch, and they were talking about the
fact that they've been talking of replacing it for so long, right,
but they just don't have time to do it because
there's so much cricket played at Lord's that they can't

(16:39):
because they can't get the time to actually dig it
all up and redo the whole thing.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
What a load of absolute bullshit, because you crack. All
you would do is do what they do every other
ground and just prepare a pitch beside it. Surely they
do that, yes.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
But I think they want to because they replace the outfield,
but they reckon it's going to higher field.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Yeah, the entire field, but.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
They reckon it's going to a very long time to
dig everything up again because the schedules so crazy.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Well, let's just gone, let's just have a terrible pet.

Speaker 6 (17:06):
Let's just start with a pitch. Then, don't do the
whole field, just do the pitch. Yes, but I'm sure
that they can prepare a lot better than that. Anyway,
exciting times will be over in two and a half days.
I'd imagine at most.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
That will really get deep inside my goat if that happens.
It happened last time too. Remember all the Test matches
were like three days long, Like.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
Come on, man, what's that about?

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Fellas bullshit? Is what it is?

Speaker 6 (17:27):
Key to have test Crecker peck. Yeah, even though there
was as many almost as many wickets as there wasn't
a T twenty.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Well now what I can do, of course, is go
on my TV when I get up in the morning,
mogie and just go full replay.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
That's right, I just have.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
It on all day long, beautiful.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Or at the Super Rugby Fellers bus this end of
the season, we've got three games. Very confusing the way
the finals works in Super Rugby because one of the
teams that losers gets a seconds. Yeah. Yeah, it's sort
of a.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
You end up on the table. Obviously.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
It's a half ass vision of the rugby league, the
NRL one.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
It's it's just a yeah, I just can't get my
head around it.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
And I guess it's a broadcasting right they need three
get like it's better to have three games of footy.
This weekend.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Then I know what, I don't know who's tonight Keezy.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
Hurricanes Brumbies seven o five tonight. That game is live
on radio hoduck you I Heart Radio as well with
the alternative commentary collective. All of those members of that
team were completely steamed last night, right, so it'll be
a shocking.

Speaker 6 (18:22):
So that's the Canes will be back to their full
strength side. If they win, they will get next week off, yes,
and if they lose, they will play next week as
the lucky loser against somebody or other.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Of course, the Canes coming out on top of the
competition for the semi finals. So if the Brumbies lose,
they're gone bigger.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
And then tomorrow av you've got Crusaders Blues four thirty
five pm and then Chiefs Reds at seven oh five
pm and that's at home in Hamilton, so an afternoon game.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
I like that in a home game for the Crusaders too, obviously,
And of course the Wars are on the by this week.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
Yeah well yeah, yeah, well yeah, so good lots.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
Of their good sports chat fellas really nailed it, really good.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Not far Key's he just hanging there.

Speaker 5 (19:07):
Let me just started. So g Man I'm happy to
be here.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Here's the Strokes for.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarky
Guns Roses.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Friday afternoon.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
The time is four point fifty three. Let's talk TV.

Speaker 7 (19:27):
What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.

Speaker 6 (19:36):
Fellas last night, as I said I was, I was
on the couch ten minutes after the end of the
ceremony last evening, so I gave me an opportunity to
watch the first episode of the second season of The
Chestnut Man. The Chestnut Man. Have you heard of him?

Speaker 5 (19:53):
The Chestnut Man?

Speaker 6 (19:54):
The Chestnuts not good. It's not good, I'll tell you
that much. It's one of these Andy Newers scandy news.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yes, I know.

Speaker 6 (20:04):
It so a police drama. This second season finds our
hero cops who, by the end of the first season,
we're actually in a sexual relationship together. Oh wow, they
were loving it hot. By the start of this season
spoil alert, they're broken up. But spoiler alert, a new
crime has brought them back together. Spoiler alert sparks are

(20:26):
going to fly again. It's bloody good actually, and I
would say at this stage, I'm just going to give
it the three busies because we don't know where it's
going to go. But a woman's been murdered, and it
seems like the person that's doing the murdering is not
a good bastard.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Does he leave chestnuts as his calling card?

Speaker 6 (20:45):
And the first season it was heavily chestnut focused. And
they're all sort of based on childhood nursery rhymes. So
the first season was a childhood nursery rhyme and this
one appears to be the same, but said Denmark, so
that's not really familiar to it. But yeah, very very good.
It's on Netflix. One hundred percent on rodin Tomatoes. I see.

(21:05):
I think that's a little bit high, but recommended at
this point. Fellows three out of a possible five busies.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
I watched. I enjoyed the first season.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Now I went to the radio awards as well last night,
one and a half buzzies out of five. Then I
got home and I finished off DTF Saint Louis.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Oh do you finish it off?

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (21:26):
I finish it off, And well, I've got to say
about it. I mean there's so many twists and turns
you think, okay, oh okay, well hang on, Yes, that's it.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Ah.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
But what I actually quite liked about it was the relationship,
the men's relationship, the two fellas the main character, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
I kind of liked their.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Relationship and the genuineness of it and the love and
affection that they had for each other.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
And it's a good series. I liked it.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
How many buzzies, man, Look.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
I'll give it a solid three point two busies?

Speaker 5 (22:02):
Three point two busies out of five? Have you noticed it?

Speaker 6 (22:04):
It always for me is it's fine.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
Yeah, it's fine.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
It's a little bit better than fine.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
I watched Today on the Couch, a documentary about You've
never heard of the couch.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
I thought you said, I watched Today on the couch.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
Come on, day, it's not today, man. I watched the
documentary about China. Really interesting. I didn't know about like
the rise of you know, China, and how the talk
about it, the long march and cheer and mouths. It
was literally just yeah, it's really interesting. And when I'm hungover,
I like to just watch a documentary for some reason
and do nothing. Yeah, so I did that. It was great.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Not all you do. So we'll get into that after five.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
I always stuffed my face with something and yeah, we
are going to play a little game after five. Very exciting,
very excited.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Also after five, of course, being a Friday, the Friday Throbber.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
Flah and today's theme for the Friday Throber a throbber,
I'm sorry because we lost at the Red Awards is
losers yeahs. And also Chris Parker is coming up, Thank
God for that.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
The hood Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio Hodachi.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
It's the Big Shows. Friday Throbber, this guy, this guy?

Speaker 5 (23:31):
Yeah, hey Jace, what's the Throbber?

Speaker 4 (23:33):
The Thraper Feels is where each of us chooses are
tuned to kick off your Friday night as we hit
into the weekend. Get you in the mood, Yeah, get
you in the mood. The theme today is loser losing.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
That's because we will failure and award last night Best
Comedy Podcast. Yes, and did we win it there feelers, No, No,
we didn't.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
In fact, Radio Headache was nominated for quite a few
And the sort of thing that I noticed, the common
denomina was whenever we were involved in that.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
Yes we lost, but whenever it was like the rest
of the station.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
Yeah, they seem to win. Yeah, I too.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Actually it's just a coincidence. So I like losing anyway, Yes, should.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
It's so much cooler. Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (24:20):
Yeah, Like that's why Jason does it in the Throb.

Speaker 7 (24:23):
Yeah every week, absolutely so cool many totally.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
Today's same as we said, losing and Jayce, have you
stuck to the actual theme this week?

Speaker 8 (24:31):
I have?

Speaker 5 (24:32):
Okay, yes, I have. Do you want to go Jace's first?

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Okay? Sure?

Speaker 4 (24:37):
This is called Rowing by Sound Garden. It's about losing

(25:03):
all we have fellas and keeping on rolling.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
You just got to keep on rowing, man. I always
say the song sounded weird.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
It's a good song. It's a really good channing one.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
I can go next to you.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
I've gone with the greatest song of all time.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
Okay, you go next.

Speaker 6 (25:28):
Fellows, we get knockdown, don't we keep on getting back
up again?

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Exactly?

Speaker 6 (25:33):
I just thought tub thump and would be the absolute business.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
Very very similar themes in both our songs Magie about
getting knocked down and getting up again.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
Sort of nails are a bit more clearly than yours.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
Literally, Mogi's one says that stuff.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
I personally always hated that there's a web now, so
I get needs to have an extras because because he's bare.
We have opinions about each other songs all the time,
and I feel about.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
This fellas, this is the song that I've chosen.

Speaker 6 (26:14):
Okay, tub thumping, Oh my god, unbelievable. Wouldn't it be
amazing if I won, even though me and Kezy have
both got the same song. If there's another example of extraordinary?

Speaker 4 (26:30):
But you decide, these young girls are call right now
on No. Eight hundred Hodaki.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
In the meantime is j.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
The Larkey Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
in week days and four on radio.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
It's the Hocky Big Shows Friday from.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Day ship shall we get rid of that?

Speaker 7 (27:00):
Jesus the weather out there at the moment, she's a
shocking bastard.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
But anyway, it's a Friday throubber. We don't care about that.
The theme today is loser losing.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
Yeah, it's because we lost at the Radio Podcast Awards.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
And the Beauty of the Thrubbers. We're going to have
two more losers. Well exactly, very very soon. What did
you go with the They went with a.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Song call growing by sound Garden.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
That song does not agree with my brain.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
It's like tempo or You've got You've got a really
good a click that tastes the I mean not really good.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
You know.

Speaker 6 (27:47):
Even now and again you pull one out and I think,
how's old hood? Jay stumbled to cross that bastard. Yeah,
I've gone with the shorter version of tub Thumper.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Yeah shun the Chumberwampers.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Is gone with the really long version.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
Mogie. Come on, man, I need to reassure everyone. Actually
both versions are the same.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
Now I should say that we're having a chat before
the show about how when we apply a thing we
always end up with ship songs.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
Yes, case in point tonight. Yeah, hey, let's go to
the phone lines. Good a Connor, your mad Barstard, Hell's Life?

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Good fellows tell you? Yeah? Yeah, good? Thanks mate? What
are you running with their Connor?

Speaker 8 (28:42):
I'm going to say cheesy topic Magie, So I'm going
to go to Magie.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
You good on you man, you're keysy did copy me?

Speaker 5 (28:49):
You go to he Connor. Have a good weekend, mate,
thanks for playing today.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Angus your mad Barstard Hell's Life? Oh good things yourself?

Speaker 6 (28:59):

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Good? Thanks? May tell what are you running with their angus.
I'm going to go with old cheesy.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
Good yeah man, good on, you have a good week.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
Well, I don't care about Angus in your man passing
Hell's life.

Speaker 10 (29:19):
It's just good going good.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Get on you mate, what are you running?

Speaker 1 (29:25):
I think? I think Mogi copyed Teazy, So I'm going
for key.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
Yeah, you're a bloody legend of a bloke. Mate, can't
wait to catch up sooner, right, come for a beer, brother, Yeah,
good on your mate? All right, Well, I'd like to
dedicate this absolute yeah chumble one but tub thumping to
my boys Hayden and also Angus.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Yeah man, yeah, good stuff.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
I'm going to go out into the officer because I
hate this song.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
So I hate it. I hate the song as well.
It's only three minutes though, so that's good.

Speaker 6 (29:56):
No one is here, Sorry.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Yucky Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarky
Chamber one.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
Good. That's a tune that just shows you how bad
your choice was.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Just I agree, Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
I actually really liked my tune, but I probably picked
the wrong part of the song to win it over
for me.

Speaker 6 (30:17):
What you like and what wins the Throbber are too
completely different things.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
That's true.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Someone's got a good point here, and no wonder you
guys lost at the Podcast Awards Atrocious taste in music. Yeah, true,
But let's go to the Throbber scoreboard the Feelers, of course,
way out in front on eight wins, Old Mogi dominated,
Old MOGGI well done, second place, Kezy seven wins for
the year.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
Seven with an asterisk? Was that well because you and
I chose the same song. So really, you.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
Don't stay hand to guard asterisks. Sorry, that's what I do.
I'm the asterisk guy actually speaking of asterisks. In third
place on five with an asterisk and a D for disqualification.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Thanks Fellers.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
How do I want to refer to the de for
disqualification because obviously you were just qualified last week?

Speaker 6 (31:03):
Because why don't we just say he's got what's he
actually got to give me?

Speaker 5 (31:07):
There?

Speaker 6 (31:07):
Scoring again?

Speaker 5 (31:07):
Five asterisk hashtag D.

Speaker 6 (31:10):
I think we say five with an asterisk and he's
copped a D.

Speaker 5 (31:16):
He's he's taking a D.

Speaker 6 (31:17):
I'm taking a D. D.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
Yeah, okay, I'll change that.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Yeah good stuff, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (31:24):
Good stuff. Fellow's really good stuff. I think maybe moving forward,
do we just do no themes?

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Yes? I think so.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
It just seems been a bit of a punish, doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
It does? Yeah, it does?

Speaker 5 (31:35):
What because we just played Chumber one two people chose
and the only other one was Jason's big Ship.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Hey, well you go, I'll tell you what is a
tune though? This next one from tool.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
To be fair, this is going to cleanse ye're true,
but a tool one other station goes Chumberwmber into tool.
Chism is its schism schism. I always say chism. Apologies,
it's a good over there. I'm not worriedable would I
be worried about it?

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Are you just seen really tins about it? I'm really anxious,
just said the.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Song player with the hidarchy big show was Jason, Mike
and Kyzy tune in on radio.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
That's a better bit of a palette cleanser after chumber
Wamba was our our throubber this Friday.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
Hey, fellers, listen, there's a lot of stuff coming through
on three four eight three about how I sound terrible,
how I'm not up to scratch because I'm hungover, and
I've decided that.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
I was.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
I was kind of anticipating this, so I've actually come
in today with a brand new game for us to play.
You guys ready for it? All right?

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Here we go.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
All right, it's called what did Keesy have for lunch?
Secure's hangover? And you guys basically you guess, all right
if there's three rounds, okay, so first round, you just
have to guess. All right, wants to go first?

Speaker 6 (33:22):
I'll go first? Dumplings?

Speaker 7 (33:24):
No?

Speaker 6 (33:25):
What was that dumplings?

Speaker 5 (33:26):
You said, doublings, Jays, spicy noodles. You're gonna have to
be more specific.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
From eaten noodles.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
Rah rah? I did not have spicy noodles.

Speaker 6 (33:41):
Mogi, pizza PM and pineapple mccains.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Was the pizza? Wasn't that either?

Speaker 6 (33:47):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (33:48):
Round portman spurrito?

Speaker 5 (33:51):
Why are you so specific? No, okay, you'll go to
the next round. The answer was curry luxA, a big
curry luxe from from a Malaysian restaurant. It's kind of
a big curry soup thing with noodles.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
And okay, round two?

Speaker 5 (34:15):
Round two? What protein did I have in the luxe?

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (34:22):
What was that?

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Check in.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
Beef?

Speaker 5 (34:30):
I'm winning, Bogie's winning.

Speaker 6 (34:34):
I'm not happy with a luxA with beef seafood seafood,
but I thought, no, he doesn't have the stomach. He doesn't.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
It's not that I don't have the stomach.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
The luxe have a halved egg in it.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
You bet your ass you don't get a bonus point
for that. That's fine, that's what you're after. Okay, So
the score is currently one nil. Mogi, third and final round.
What heat did Keasy get.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Extra hot, extra hot, extra spicy?

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (35:06):
No, hot hot? Yeahshing you just know you won. Congrats.

Speaker 7 (35:18):
That's after you ate reburger at three o'clock this morning.

Speaker 5 (35:21):
I had reburger at three h this morning, backbone, So
I thought I was thinking we could play that game
whenever I come and hungover.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Yeah, maybe it needs filling out a little bit, you reckon, Yeah,
because the problem is you're going to eat the same
thing every time.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Yeah, I'll tell you what doesn't need any more filling out.

Speaker 8 (35:43):
Up.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
Nick's Chris Parker.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
By the way, The Hurdichy Big Show weekdays from four
on Radio Hodkey.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
Indeed been a bush for your Friday afternoon.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
What a special treat we have.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
He's an actor, he's a comedian, he's a writer, and
he's also fellas Because I was, you know, doing a
bit of research because we're professionals when we do this show.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
He's a TV personality.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
I'm talking of the one and only Chris Parker, Chris,
your mad basset house life.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
I love that you went at to first. I can
hear the crowd. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (36:17):
God, that's just what popped into my head at the time.
I mean, you've got so many bows to your quiver.
You've got to be a multi hyphen it in this modern.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Day exactly, mate. How do you feel about being a
TV personality? What even is there?

Speaker 7 (36:33):
I think it's a good life, many lives you could
live in New Zealand, you know, to be a middling
TV personality is one of the greater ones.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
You know.

Speaker 7 (36:42):
Sometimes you know, you get a hello, you'll get a
sponsored face cream.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
Yes you know.

Speaker 6 (36:48):
Yeah, Well you say middling and in New Zealand. But
I've seen some social clips of you in Australia. Are
you middling over there? Or you're being carried around by
a six half a dozen really strongly built homo sexual
men and it looked like you were absolutely living the life.
I'll be honest with you, Chris, I'm surprised to see
you back on our shoes.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Okay, So here's the thing.

Speaker 7 (37:09):
I never get gay guys coming to my shows. And
we could ask the audience as to why they can
text them. I don't want to read the text. But
they don't want to come see me. I think maybe
they don't want to have sex with me, so they're
not attracted to me. They don't want to buy a ticket,
or maybe they see me as a threat. You know,
I'm the funny gay in my office, so that don't
turn up. However, I'm doing a show in Melbourne. I've

(37:31):
got six big boys, yes, in the front row. You
know the type, Yeah, totally, I do Chris. They're you know,
they're they're built like gladiators. And I thought, boys, I
never get fellows like you and my show and they
sort of whooh yeah, they're very excited to see me.
And I said, if I do a good job at
the end of the show, like if I crush and
we can, we'll figure that out if that happens or not.

Speaker 6 (37:54):
You have to pick me up.

Speaker 8 (37:56):
Like.

Speaker 7 (37:56):
I don't know why I said it, but I just said.
I think I was just that part of the album
com I thought, anything goes. I have the show of
my life, right, I think because the boys are there
and I said, Fellas, that was an undeniable crush.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Yes, I nailed it.

Speaker 7 (38:11):
Picked me up and they rushed the stage and they
picked me up above their head. And yeah, it was
the craziest experience I've ever had. It was like almost
like am I insert Disleigh right now?

Speaker 6 (38:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (38:23):
I felt like, yeah, this is what the greats must
feel like being uplifted by their community.

Speaker 5 (38:29):
Literally did that.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
A few times.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
Really, But Chris by someone that wasn't a bouncer, are
you disappointed that gay men don't come to your show?

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Is it because I'm getting the vibe? That's what's that about?
You know what?

Speaker 7 (38:47):
I always think I'm for everyone, as we all do.
I'm a TV personality.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
You want to be.

Speaker 7 (38:55):
Personality? Oh my god, I know I bring it up,
but I missed that it was in the email to
bring it up. All right?

Speaker 4 (39:05):
Did you get uplifted by men in that scenario? Winning
it Treasure Island?

Speaker 7 (39:10):
But I think what that began was a long and
healthy tradition of me being uplifted by women in their
thirties and their mums. I tell you it was interesting
because you, of course, we were a part of that,
that long tradition on celebrity Treasure Island where men won it,
gaming too, Yeah, and gaming they count as me.

Speaker 6 (39:32):
I just say men, yeah.

Speaker 7 (39:36):
I said, but we're talking Mattie McLain. We're talking James Mustards, right,
we're talking me. You know there is a society and
you'll wear a gold chain necklace.

Speaker 6 (39:48):
You're saying, I fear that you were gassed when a
woman won it. This year was about.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
Hannah Marty woman.

Speaker 10 (39:54):
I think I said on record, oh my god, you
and Jason get on great.

Speaker 7 (39:58):
No, I was so thrilled. You couldn't have asked for
a better winner. You agree, And now she runs the club.
You know, we're just we just bow at her. We
uplift her. Obviously.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
I've got to tell you, Chris, it's Keysy's dream to
be on Treasure Island. He has done everything in his
power to get on. That showed to do, Chris, He's
desperate to get on.

Speaker 7 (40:21):
You need to be more of a middling TV personality.
I don't get yourself on fear go. What was the
one where the trades came in and.

Speaker 10 (40:30):
Target it's one of the It needs to be a.

Speaker 4 (40:35):
Scene where you're getting off on yourself and someone's.

Speaker 5 (40:38):
Draws except for on TV.

Speaker 3 (40:42):
Like a blurry sort of security look at me.

Speaker 7 (40:45):
That would get you on celebrity. Really absolutely, it would
get you on like New Zealand's equivalence.

Speaker 6 (40:52):
And six tape.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Yeah truly, isn't it.

Speaker 7 (40:55):
Well that's that launched a career that spans a thousand
years now.

Speaker 3 (40:59):
Yeah strong, Hey.

Speaker 5 (41:00):
Guys, we've got Chris Parker here and we'll actually plug
the reason you're in after a tune. How does that sound?

Speaker 3 (41:06):
I love it it tunes, man, I love it?

Speaker 8 (41:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (41:09):
Do you like the cure?

Speaker 3 (41:09):
C h u n E give me the honey. I'm sick.
I need the cure.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
The Huriarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
hdiky sh.

Speaker 4 (41:23):
Hey, welcome back to the show. We've got middling TV
personality Chris.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Parker on the show.

Speaker 7 (41:28):
It's not to be here, Chris, because I was actually
wondering because you stood us.

Speaker 4 (41:33):
Up the last time you were meant to turn up
last week. Remember that fellas was absolutely.

Speaker 6 (41:40):
Felt reason to get out of bed that day. And
then do you remember what your excuse was, because I
assume it was a lie. Do you remember I know
what happened and it was it was actually it. I
was I'm doing the rounds as one does as a middlingk.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
They call it.

Speaker 7 (41:55):
I was talking to a regional newspaper who had a
ten minute interview and went for thirty five to forty minutes. Wow,
didn't give me enough time to get down here. Well
kind of did, but I was going to have to
screw screw the pooch, so to speak.

Speaker 6 (42:11):
Yeah, because I sort of got canceled at about six hours before.
Ye yeah, yeah, yeah, Soris slipping from over here.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
We've got committing comedian Chris Parker. Actually, because you do,
you've got a lot of, as you said, bows to
your quiver. So it's kind of like a jack of
all trades, master of none sort of situation.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
The proverbs you guys throw around here.

Speaker 6 (42:35):
Have you heard, believe you heard of bows to your quiver? Arrows? Yeah, yeah,
to your bow and it strings to your beau. To
your quiver.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
I don't even know what a quiver is.

Speaker 6 (42:49):
Is the thing that you put your arrows in. You
have one of.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
Those, so the arrows are in the quiver, yeah, Chris Parker.

Speaker 4 (42:58):
Chris was right, and as me in the phrase jack
of all trades, master of none, that is actually a
saying that is a saying and it's leg.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Yes, lovely boy.

Speaker 5 (43:10):
Yeah. And when I think Chris Parker, that's what I
think that proverb. And Chris, you're obviously taking the comedian
part of your your your c V. Let's say. Yeah,
going on tour, just looking because the name of the
show is take a good hard look at me. I'm
looking at you. Going around New Zealand, which is bloody exciting.
So you know Wellington, christ Church, there's also Edinburgh and
London in there. Oh yeah, how exciting is that?

Speaker 3 (43:31):
Oh that's pretty expensive.

Speaker 6 (43:33):
Yeah, Edinburgh Festival already happened or is that upcoming now?

Speaker 3 (43:38):
That's always August, it's there, it's there summer, yes.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
Yeah, so and so you are you.

Speaker 3 (43:43):
They love the streets to smell like, you know, rotten
trash before.

Speaker 7 (43:46):
The arts, decaying feces.

Speaker 5 (43:49):
Yeah, and so have you have decayed?

Speaker 3 (43:52):
It does have that smell. Yeah, yeah, it's because the
heat and the sewers. It just smells.

Speaker 7 (43:56):
And then every now and then when I hit smell
that smell in Auckland, I think, God, maybe we are
a big city.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
Chris.

Speaker 4 (44:02):
I've got to be honest with you in two in
terms of Edinburgh, because it's kind of seen in many
ways as the mecca. Yeah, for comedians, you've got to
go to Edinburgh, you know, because you can be signed
up there and your.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
Whole life will change. But for a lot of comedians
it's just a shit hole.

Speaker 4 (44:19):
It's really expensive and like one person comes to their show.

Speaker 7 (44:23):
Yeah, so I've been going now. I only go for
a week or a couple of days, but I mainly
go there so I can go to London because I
don't know if you've noticed, but everyone has left New
Zealand and they're all living in London. So I like
to go over there and just perform for one hundred
percent keeping as you're not making any progress.

Speaker 3 (44:41):
I think, guys, we could have done this in Nelson says, we've.

Speaker 5 (44:45):
Got committing Chris Parker with us. Take a good hard
look at me the name of a show? Yeah, what
are we looking at? What are we backing here?

Speaker 3 (44:51):
Look?

Speaker 7 (44:51):
So the show itself is one day. It's set on
one day, the tenth of February twenty twenty sixth, and
it's everything that happened on that day. And I've tried
to write the funniest show I can based off the
worst day the most boring day I've ever had. So
it starts at six am ends at eleven pm. Doesn't
sound like much of a sal but I can promise
you it sent six gay men into hysteria, forcing them

(45:14):
to raid the stage and lift me up above their heads.

Speaker 5 (45:17):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (45:17):
Yeah, I question there. Did you have this tour booked
in before you wrote any of this? And is it
because you had to go on this tour that you
were forced into at the last minute. Let's be honest,
writing an hour special? Is that what's happened here?

Speaker 3 (45:33):
What do you want? Like the real answer or a
bit of fun radio banter.

Speaker 6 (45:37):
Well, because Tom Sainsbury has said, close friend of your
say he does the same thing. He'll be asked to
do a tour or a festival. He'll come up with
this coaster and then about three weeks prior to the
gigs he will write.

Speaker 3 (45:51):
It I gig more than Tom.

Speaker 6 (45:54):
Right. Oh no, he's lazy.

Speaker 7 (45:55):
He's a lazy He does nothing, He does nothing. What's
he doing mucking around on his phone texting teenagers? So
let's get that going. I don't know why not taking
down a pick or two?

Speaker 5 (46:07):
That's all.

Speaker 7 (46:08):
That's what we call profile building for me, you knock
each other down. So I, yeah, I had been working
a lot of material that was sort of like in
a certain at the publish you know, where the real
community is working out. And then I thought, I think
I've got to show here, but it is sort of
quite mundane, like it's sort of about my life, but
a kind of funny way. So then I sort of

(46:28):
thought like, maybe I should just set the whole show
on the tenth of February because it was quite an
interesting day because nothing really happened. I think I had
a sandwich and went for a swim. Yeah, good and
yeah from mundane. Though, to be fair, Chris can be
very funny. Well that's very funny, can be can can
be Well, that's the test you'll have to buy taking it,
find can walk the walk. And let me say, these

(46:51):
arrows in my quiver are very sharp.

Speaker 5 (46:54):
If you do want to go and see Chris Parkers,
take a good hard look at me. Here's at Chrisparkercomedy
dot com is at the best option.

Speaker 7 (47:00):
Or like a linko a bio, or just use your intuition,
like get a bit lost on the web, start on
Yahoo and end up where you need to be by ticket.

Speaker 5 (47:06):
Hard to proceed, Wellington Christ couple of shows and Aukland
as well. Chris Parker, thanks for coming inte.

Speaker 7 (47:11):
Thanks boys, it's been a pleasure. I really talked at
a different down here and make me sort of talk
for some reason?

Speaker 5 (47:22):
Do you guys like Queens and stone Age.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy
tune in week days at four on radio.

Speaker 4 (47:33):
Hold ikey, you're welcome back your messive bankbone tape. Your
Fridays absolutely going off. You're listening to the Big Show
brought to you.

Speaker 5 (47:40):
But I reboog you serving good times and good food
dining or take away Reburger today.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
Yeah, yam yam, y y y yeah. Speaking of which, fellows,
what are you having for dinner tonight?

Speaker 4 (47:51):
You've already eaten like three days with a food already,
so you'll probably be skipping dinner, won't you.

Speaker 5 (47:56):
No, that was my lunch. I had a luxA art
night For dinner, I am having tacos. We're making tacos?

Speaker 6 (48:04):
Are you making them?

Speaker 5 (48:05):
No? Yeah, my wife's going to make.

Speaker 3 (48:09):
With the leftover man.

Speaker 5 (48:10):
No no, no, fresh freshman's freshman yeah fresh portmants not
even joking. Wait it's gonna be yummy. Yeah, man, But
I did have Reburger at three am last night and
I didn't realize, but in Auckland, one of the Reburger stores,
I think it's just one of them, stays open till
two thirty am. Yeah, most nights or two am. That's huge.

Speaker 6 (48:30):
It's yeah, because.

Speaker 5 (48:31):
Getting something that isn't a cheap, crappy takeaway at that
time is like game changing. It massively cured me.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
Wow sort of, yeah, exactly, Yeah, good stuff.

Speaker 5 (48:44):
What are you having tonight? Jason?

Speaker 3 (48:46):
Well, my wife was going to cook, but she's like,
I've got no ideas. I can't be asked, right, So.

Speaker 5 (48:51):
What are you going to cook?

Speaker 3 (48:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (48:52):
You're going to go get dumplings, an't you?

Speaker 3 (48:54):
Yeah? Probably? Yeah? Niceboo Rebourger.

Speaker 6 (48:58):
Yeah, it's not good there tonight. It's take a night off.

Speaker 5 (49:01):
I'll see how I go on the way back from
the gym right after the show.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Yeah, I know, no gym tonight, too wet. It's an
outdoors yet.

Speaker 5 (49:12):
Out do you guys like red hot chili?

Speaker 6 (49:16):
Honestly A little bit over them?

Speaker 1 (49:19):
What the whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
Kezy Tune in week days at four on Radio hold.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
Ich Green Day there on the Radio hold Archy Big
Show this Friday evening. As we've banged on about it
was the Radio Awards last night. Poor old Kezy hit
it hard. But that's fine to be fair to Keyzy Mogi.
You know, there's quite a few people suffering around here. Absolutely,
everyone's bugging off home early.

Speaker 6 (49:43):
To be quite clear, where the outliers here by not
being hungover? Yes, everyone else is in pieces.

Speaker 5 (49:48):
And I also want to say that the reason I
had a biggie, the only reason is that last year
we were covering the Breakfast Show that day after the
Radio Awards, and so I think I got me and
Pugs had two hours sleep each. One of the great
shows that we've ever done. I think that morning after
it was excellent.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
I just just sort of proved my point too.

Speaker 4 (50:03):
I was outside before and I saw some dude get
on a lime scooter, put his helmet on and then drive.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
Straight into a pole.

Speaker 5 (50:10):
Was here a radio person?

Speaker 4 (50:11):
He was a radio person I won't name names, And
I was like, okay, Fiella, you probably shouldn't be doing
anything apart from walking out or getting it.

Speaker 5 (50:20):
Tex say, with all this in mind. We did a
big pole today, pole, and the big pole was should
help sorry hang on, just asuming do we send Keesy home?

Speaker 4 (50:43):
Ah?

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Yes or no?

Speaker 5 (50:44):
That Mogan it was your idea basically because you think
I should go home.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (50:48):
Well there's a bit more nuanced to it than that.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
Keys.

Speaker 6 (50:50):
The concern that Jason I had was that your hungover
state would drag down the high quality of the show.
The high quality as shine by all the awards that
Iky won last night, except for any awards that had
anything to do with the Big Show. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (51:06):
Well the good news is I've got the results of
the big Pole here. Do you guys want to guess
what they were?

Speaker 4 (51:13):
Should we send Keysy home? My vibey people want to
hear you suffer?

Speaker 5 (51:18):
Right, So I'm going to go sixty forty no, right, okay,
the opposite sixty forty years, sixty forty no. That the
result of the Big Pole, fellas is sixty eight percent
of New Zealand.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
Said yes, send him hard.

Speaker 6 (51:32):
Yes, it's great to.

Speaker 5 (51:33):
Find that out. Now that we're like getting towards the end.

Speaker 3 (51:36):
Of the show, I mean, your models will just hang
on now, well, of course you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (51:40):
Well, I don't leave right now.

Speaker 4 (51:41):
I mean you're still could. I mean I wouldn't say
anything you knock me out, so totally. Man, I don't
even knock out my mates.

Speaker 6 (51:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
Man, if you want to go, look just you know,
do it.

Speaker 5 (51:53):
Okay, you're still here. I'm still yeah. Well, the problem
is that you guys don't how to run this this system.

Speaker 6 (52:01):
We'll pick it up pretty quick technology.

Speaker 3 (52:05):
I'm going a couple of batons.

Speaker 5 (52:07):
I'm gone, Oh no, hang on, what's this one?

Speaker 7 (52:12):
Now?

Speaker 5 (52:12):
I'm still here.

Speaker 1 (52:16):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.

Speaker 4 (52:21):
Yes, indeed, placebo there on the radio. Holdarchy Big Show
this Friday evening.

Speaker 5 (52:27):
Fellas. In three weeks time, we will be up the
Skytower for Hoducky's Day in lou It is our way
of helping Bow Cancer New Zealand make it.

Speaker 6 (52:38):
Yeah, man, absolutely, I know you can get emotional with
this sort of stuff, right and when you're hanging over,
you're sort of over the show. You've been up and
down with your emotions. You've been you know what you
remind me of men, what you remind me of Jace yesterday?
You're on and off with your hoodie like Jase was
on and off with his jacket yesterday. You're a shambles man.
Jason has got an excuse. He's got early on dementia.

(53:00):
But look at the state of your young man, thirty
four years old. You have an absolute But and just.

Speaker 4 (53:06):
On that Fellows, I mean, you know me aging, I
was going home last night after the awards slipped a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
Did happen?

Speaker 6 (53:15):
A little bit?

Speaker 3 (53:16):
Yeah, just a little slip when I was going down
the hill. I was wearing my slip ons.

Speaker 7 (53:20):
You didn't have any grip on them, and there's a
lot of tiled starts in the city and I slipt
because it was a bit wet.

Speaker 3 (53:26):
Did happen?

Speaker 4 (53:27):
So I think I'm gonna have to get a walking frame,
I think. So, you know what I'm saying. That's so,
don't feel bad, geezy.

Speaker 5 (53:33):
I just feel bad because I'm supposed to be delivering this,
you know, like we won we won an award at
the podcast already awards last night for Day in lou
and rightly so. But right now I'm thinking, shit, well,
we're not gonna win it next year because I've butchered
this trying to tell everyone about it.

Speaker 6 (53:47):
Oh yeah, look, I mean there's a million things that
are going wrong today, but you just got to you
gotta just get on with it.

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Can I have a crack? Another crack?

Speaker 6 (53:54):
It will, sure me, but not from the start.

Speaker 5 (53:55):
Okay, Thursday, Juneesday, June twenty fifth, three weeks, three weeks away, Moggie,
we'll be up the sky Tower doing the next Day
in lou raising funds and awareness for bow cancer New Zealand,
which is the main thing, isn't it now?

Speaker 4 (54:13):
Mogi's falling apart in the corner there, he's coffin and
splut run.

Speaker 6 (54:16):
I guess the concerners that last year we did the
Day in Lou in the bowels of Ileanam Park and
that won an award. Yeah, and so this time we're
taking it to sky Tower. Have we made a mistake.

Speaker 5 (54:28):
Well, we're going Day in lou with a view.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
I feel like we might need to judge it up
a bit, with a bit of it.

Speaker 4 (54:38):
Maybe, you know, if we're in a room of some description,
they might have a bath a New Year broadcast from
the bar from the tab there, because that was amazing.

Speaker 5 (54:46):
That was great last year, wasn't it.

Speaker 3 (54:47):
Well?

Speaker 5 (54:48):
Look, if you want to donate to the cause, text
Lou to three four eight three we'll send you a
secure donation link. You can also hit to day in
lou dot co dot m Z for an online symptom check.
Of the most important thing with bell cancer is this,
if they're there and you get them early, massively treatable.

Speaker 8 (55:03):
True.

Speaker 7 (55:03):
Man.

Speaker 3 (55:04):
Now, there was the idea that I run up the stairs.

Speaker 6 (55:08):
Well, you have an idea. It's locked in. On that note,
I spoke to Bosley and I also spoke to mister
mister Sky from Sky Tower and he said, great idea.
He's going to give ten thousand dollars as well, so
you don't.

Speaker 5 (55:22):
Have to run, You just have to walk from the
bottom of the to the top.

Speaker 6 (55:26):
There's it's only fifty stories. So what an amazing thing
Jason is doing to get additional ten thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (55:33):
Who's donating that, mister Sky from Sky City, mister Sky,
Bruce Sky.

Speaker 4 (55:38):
Because I spoke with the same guy and he said,
you know, a couple of the floors are shut down
at the moment, so I can't really happen.

Speaker 5 (55:43):
But open them because it's for charity.

Speaker 4 (55:47):
But I mean, we don't want a situation where it's
you know, it could be perilous for old Winnie Jay.
That doesn't bother me, You guys and bothers me.

Speaker 3 (55:56):
Did you not hear the fact that I might need
a walking front? I did my head?

Speaker 6 (56:01):
What a week here? You made the offer, we see,
Yes you're doing it.

Speaker 5 (56:03):
Bruce Sky has signed off on it. Tim graand mister Sky.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
Bruce Sky.

Speaker 5 (56:07):
Taxs load to three four, text load to three four
A three if you keen to donate otherwise we'll see
you Thursday, June twenty fifth from the sky Tower, twelve
hours straight of us all from Hodarcky Live in one place,
can't wait, Arctic Monk Cares.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy A.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
See DC there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show. This
gloomy dark Friday night, let's give out some advice.

Speaker 3 (56:35):
Feels six.

Speaker 5 (56:41):
At gmail dot com.

Speaker 3 (56:43):
Get in touch with the Fellers were the Fels.

Speaker 5 (56:49):
Meet Patty and sixty nine at gmail dot com. It
is a real email address. Do get in touch one
dent anonymous and if we read it on the show,
you get a prize. This is an interesting one, fellas
it comes in from anonymous. Yeah, hello there, feelers. My
messo has been a long time vegetarian, which has not
been an issue for me at all. In the past.
We eat our separate things and shut up and get
on with it. Recently, she's got on a bit of

(57:11):
a fitness kick and in the name of gains, she's
decided she wants to reintroduce meat back into her diet
to get more protein. Now, this is great news for me,
as it simplifies our shopping and bills and we can
cook more often together. My only issue is that she
will only purchase highly expensive, regenerative organic meat in the
name of the environment, and our grocery bill is skyrocketing

(57:33):
as a result. I'm pretty sure most of it is
marketing bullshit anyway. Example below, fifteen dollars for four small sausages.
There's a photo here of four small sausages. Let's I
can see that, and there's a cat as well. Any advice,
I just want to cook us both some guilt free
sizzlers and a bit of white death without her giving
me a death stair chairs.

Speaker 3 (57:54):
It's a really good, really good.

Speaker 4 (57:58):
Email, that one, you know, because I often find my
say I don't know if you guys do this when
you're buying eggs and you go, oh, you know, you
got to get organic or you know, range sort of thing,
and they're like fifteen dollars a dozen, and then you
look at the ones that aren't free range, and they're
like seven.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Or eight bucks. You know, into a family, there's a
lot of money.

Speaker 7 (58:20):
There's a lot of And what I found, interestingly, and
I could be wrong, is that the ones that sometimes
when I buy the cheaper ones are actually nicer eggs.

Speaker 6 (58:31):
Yeah. I don't find that ever.

Speaker 4 (58:33):
I have found that seriously, they're like beautiful, like glowing
orange sort of yolks.

Speaker 3 (58:39):
It's delicious.

Speaker 6 (58:40):
That's the white yolks and white or white.

Speaker 5 (58:45):
Is it's a plug for cage eggs?

Speaker 6 (58:50):
Yeah, it's big cage.

Speaker 3 (58:53):
Well.

Speaker 4 (58:53):
We've also had this discussion before too, because like my
wife's very very healthy and she tries to chuck vegetables
and everything now and it's like, you know, I just
want to get spicy takeaways with lots of meat and
it she's like, oh, I'll boil up some veggies and
I'll do this, and I'm sorry, yeah, havef dude.

Speaker 5 (59:11):
So just confirming your pro cage eggs and you're saying
don't eat vegas totally.

Speaker 6 (59:16):
We do this guy gets it?

Speaker 3 (59:19):
Thank you?

Speaker 6 (59:20):
Yeah, I mean yeah, well it's tricky. I mean you've
got two options. You can either do what she wants
or you can break up with it. That's it, that's all.

Speaker 5 (59:27):
You've got so expensive sausages.

Speaker 6 (59:29):
Well, yeah, I mean she's not gonna she's not gonna
eat sizzlers. Why and why would she? Because she's not
a twenty year old dude living with nine other dude. Yeah.
So yeah, it's sort of you're gonna have to like
it or lump it.

Speaker 5 (59:44):
But the thing with a sausage, right, A sausage is
traditionally not a fancy food.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
It's usually off cuts.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
Yeah, and it's about I love sausages, but it's not
like a steak or anything. But if you're paying fifteen
dollars for four sausage.

Speaker 6 (59:58):
I mean, I don't know what the cost of the
sausage norm.

Speaker 5 (01:00:00):
I reckon you can get twelve.

Speaker 4 (01:00:04):
I will say this, No, they are expensive bastards. You
get like six sauces and you're looking at fourteen fifteen
backs a lot of the time.

Speaker 5 (01:00:12):
And well this is four for fifteen.

Speaker 7 (01:00:14):
Where if you just get the big massive bag of sauce,
you know what I mean just that they have on
the you know, the Mad Butcher used to have them
with the barbies outside the Bunnings and stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
They're the best one.

Speaker 6 (01:00:26):
We can to agree that cheap cheap sausages exist. But
the question here is not do cheap sausages exist, it's
how do I get my missus to eat cheap sausages.
The answer is you can't break up with her. She
won't so you either have to spend all your money
eating rich meat, yeah, or break up with it.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
So okay, So just confirming break up with her, eat
caged eggs, don't eat vegetables. And yes, cheap sausages exist. Yes, yeah,
good stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
Chuck some onions in there too with your cheap sauag
squid hold.

Speaker 1 (01:00:59):
I keep Big week Days from four on Radio Hurdarky.

Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
Well there you go, your a advancetards. That's the big
show done, und I said, for your Friday afternoon. Normally
at the stage of the show we play the podcast
outro clip. But old Deli he's even more hungover than Keyzy,
I think, and so he's he's forgotten.

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
To do that and we're not going to you know,
be rate him. He's had a hard, hard. He's been
here all day, Fellers.

Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
He is.

Speaker 5 (01:01:32):
I mean, we should probably should have just not even
pointed out that he forgot and just sort of said, hey, no,
click tonight.

Speaker 6 (01:01:38):
He's got other things on his mind, like what well
he turned to Hemry's I mean I just see him
there and he sort of his eyes are glazed over.
Look not unlike yours, keyesy. Yeah, but he's sort of
got a glow about him. Yeah, you know what I mean.
