To I'll tell you what's Paint a picture for the
audience out there.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
She's steamy today.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Boys, we've found in the last couple of days in
the studio for some reason, it's been unfeasibly hot, so
old Mogi's sexy tidy Whitey has really sort of translosened
against his heavily chiseled chest.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
How man, bastard game, I'm pretty grassy, your mad dog,
your sixth son of a bee. You're right, Jays, I'm
sweating like a bastard over here. I understand that is
that indy means trying to save a few dollars. So
they've turned off all the air coorn in the building,
and we're just going to have to suck it up.
Speaking of sucking it up, how's ald Keesy gain over there? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:21):
Good feelers strafect. What is it that I suck up?
Speaker 6 (01:23):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
You name it man, we call you the hoover.
Speaker 5 (01:27):
Yeah, old hoover. Kezy going pretty well, man. I thought
it was Wednesday, but it's actually Thursday.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
It is good. Yeah, bonus for me. It felt like
a Friday though, but it's only a Thursday.
Speaker 7 (01:37):
I did the same thing as Kesy.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
I thought it was Wednesday and was stoked to find
out it was Thursday.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
So you did the same thing that I did, but
slightly better.
Speaker 7 (01:45):
Well, no, just you reminded me that the thought.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Tell you what, Keysy's obviously not feeling the heat's got
this big, big wooly switch it on you.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
But yeah, but mine's Marina.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Yeah it does.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
Yeah, right, mine's I don't know, cotton prop. I do
have my hoodie on, but it's because I'm embarrassed in
my T shirt.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Oh where do you go?
Speaker 5 (02:06):
It's a willing to paranormal T shirt.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I had so many names and I couldn't say.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Hey, how are you today?
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Jas? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (02:15):
Good, thank you cool?
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Is that editor? Earlier?
Speaker 5 (02:18):
I want to sort of, oh, well, what have you
been up to?
Speaker 7 (02:20):
Look, I don't have time for that line.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Now. What we do have time for is what's coming
up on the show.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi. Yeah. Sure,
we've got competitions coming out of our a holes like
what well, like join the Hedache Gang and you could
win yourself an electric motorcycle. Make that too. We're drawing
the very first one of these winners on tomorrow's show.
Here on the Big Show, listen out for a queue
to call, and you could get into the draw to win.
(02:50):
We're talking to Chelsea Preston Craife had later on in
the show. He's got a new film out, Caterpillar. She's
an absolute backbone. And next up, fellas, we're gonna have
a discussion, probably a big poll and just a general
chit chat about us renaming our hugely successful podcast. Yes,
we've got a hugely successful podcast called The Outro.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
Because we upload two daily. By the way, one's a
highlights package of the show. That one's fine, but it's
that extra bonus content. Yes, we want to rename it.
Speaker 7 (03:18):
Yeah, we need your help.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
In the meantime, here's Food Fighters.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky
Radio Head.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
The time is thirteen minutes past four o'clock and we
need your help New Zealand. Now, a lot of you
will probably be aware of the fact that we do
a bonus podcast on this show, and it's called the
podcast Outrow, which is basically about ten minutes of the
Fowlers having a bit of a chat before the show
(03:49):
actually start.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
It's our warm up, really intelligence sort of chit chat.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
It's really incisive, often goes quite deep, does often needs
a disclaimer.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah, there's a big ideas in there.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
There's some big ideas.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
There's some terrible ideas in there.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
But the issue that we have, and we were talking
about it yesterday and the outro was that I think
it was you Morgan the engine.
Speaker 7 (04:10):
We need a refresh on that.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah, it's a bit of a it's a bit of
a it's a bit of a shit. Really, it's called
you know, it's called the Big Show of the Outro. Now,
the intro got called the outro because Matt and Jerry
used to do breakfast together, and they had a podcast
called the Intro, so we thought, why don't we call
ours the Outro?
Speaker 5 (04:26):
I thought it was nice. It was like a family
Hodaki thing they opened.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Then within about three weeks they changed the name because
Matt Heath was over the name of theirs, and then
he left and went to News Talks NB.
Speaker 7 (04:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, and so now the outro doesn't really make any
sense at all. No, and I think that we do
need a refresh. And it's taken us five years to
photos and all that Stuff's great. I think we looks great,
but it's just the name of the podcast.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
What it lacks, fellas is pizzazz.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
Yeah biz, how do you spell that?
Speaker 4 (05:01):
PiZZ a z z p i z z a z
z pas.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Okay, all right, I like that now.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
The other idea that we had was what was the
way that we open the show every single day? The
way that we the way that we start, which is
hoity j Well, you should do your intro?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
How this?
Speaker 5 (05:22):
How about this? I'll play the and we'll show you
what it sounds like whenever we start the podcast. And
this is a recent development for.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
All you led bastards loving the Big Show podcast. Get
Up even Closer on Instagram, YouTube and Tickture for how
Doggies for De Siven every weekday on radio record on
Get a Fellas Backbone.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Hello, So we had the idea because we do that
every time now of calling it get a Fella's Backbone.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Hello, Yes, I personally not. I'm not a fan. It
doesn't make sense like I get it, but it doesn't.
It doesn't make sense if you're not aware.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I think that's why it makes sense, because it doesn't
make sense. Okay, We've got so many names for different
parts and segments of our show. None of them makes sense. Yes,
so we.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
Try something different? Do we try to make it make sense?
For example, I've written here the hurducky Big warm Up
because we warm up for the big show.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well, that makes it seem like it's not a good show.
You know. It means like it makes it seem like
it's less than the big show.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
It's you know, warming up as good, not actually giving
it the full performance.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
A lot of people say it's better than us given
our full performance. That people have said it, Oh wow,
I was thinking, how about this one Diary of a
Backbone with Hoidy Jeer's Mogi Kezy and Joe Rogan ah
smart putting. Joe Rogan is very popular.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
I had a similar idea. We call it the j
Mogan Experience.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
There's good a ring to it, j Mogan.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
Because like Joe Rogan, he's one of the biggest podcasts
in the world. Yeah, Logan, and I'll rename myself to
experience and then people might get confused and click on
us instead.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
There's a good idea. What about Moggi and the Fellows?
Speaker 5 (07:15):
Right, So, what's why just Mogi and the Fellows?
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Well, I just think it makes it easier for the people.
They've only got to remember one person's name, that's true.
And the fellows, which were always saying the fellows and
all that. What about just the.
Speaker 7 (07:26):
Fellows the Fellows?
Speaker 6 (07:27):
I like.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
So, so the way people that go to listen to
it will have the highlights package of the show, and
then next to that the failers or is it the
Fellas discuss insert topic here, So every episode is the
Failers discuss, the Fellers discuss blah blah.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
That makes it seem like every day we're not just
talking filth.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
Well it is, but we can get kind of specific,
like what did we chat about to I can't even
remember because your bootroom, Yeah, bootrooms. The fellows discuss Jason's bootroom.
You know, that could be the way it's named. But
if anyone's got any ideas.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
What about the boot room? Oh that's good? Ah well
what about boys Trip? I'm just seeing that on your head,
Boys Trip?
Speaker 5 (08:09):
What three four eight three. If you've got any ideas
of what we do three four eight three, If you've
got any ideas of what we should rename the podcast
outro too, We've got fifty bucks cash thanks to Toledos,
to give away to get stuck.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
In great stuff.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
In the meantime, here's the Killers.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
The whole Aching Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Ache is indeed blur there on the radio. Holdarchy Big
Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is four to twenty three.
Now we're asking for the audiences help to rename our
podcast outro, which is bonus material we do. It's not
the actual show itself. It's just another little podcast we do.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
But while we're warming.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Up and so we put it out on three four
eight three, and foulers, have we been inundated?
Speaker 5 (08:54):
We certainly have Jason. Three four eight three is the
number of text, every text and the draw for a
fifty dollars cash injection thanks to to lead us.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
And before we go to these texts, have we got
one that were in favor of yet? Between the three
of us, have we got one that we like?
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Big show, little pod? There's one I just wrote down there,
not really at the station front.
Speaker 7 (09:15):
No massive front. I don't mind the Fowls.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
I like the Fellas discuss something every episode is the
Fellows discuss this maybe, But let's go to let's read
out some texts, Moggie. Yes, these are all coming through
on three four eight three from loyal listeners, which is
just great. Filter list fellers.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Filter as Fellows.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
Because we are filter us because we're not on the radio.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
That's true.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
It can be a bit more loosey goosey.
Speaker 7 (09:39):
Yeah, that's true. That's true.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Not bad, Luke says the hurducky big Nose discord.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
God know that? What about this one? Moggi? Mogi likes
this one.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
Three massive noses, two wonky years and one crap podcast.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Now I'd listened to that.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
Yeah, I can't tell if that person likes us or
hate us.
Speaker 7 (10:04):
Well, they made the effort to text and Z. I'm
saying they love us fuzzies.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
Is the D brief ah D just with the letter D.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah, that's good.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
Someone who is suggesting that we call it the ditch
if c ifol Keys can last on that show. That's
a reference to a very short lived Rugby League show
I used to host before getting fired. It's not that funny.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Come on, super.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
Keys, he got fired.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
We're gonna call it the Ditch season three?
Speaker 7 (10:39):
Yes, I like the d you.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Can we can?
Speaker 5 (10:45):
We just clip off Jay saying he likes the D. Yeah, man, duh,
ketchups with the three noses, the three stooges, chat the
jizz experience.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
That's nice.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah, but you guys aren't jeerz I am.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
That's true, but we have to experience you Yeah, that's true.
We are experiencing it. That's true.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
Somebody is saying, which is something we thought of a
long time ago, just call it filth.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Yeah, I think filth. There's something about it.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
But what I don't want to do is like sometimes
we don't talk film.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
No, and really and we have been trying to get
away from it a little bit. When I say trying
I mean saying the words we should stop talking filth
and then immediately talking to filth.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, that's it's extraordio. It's like it triggers us that word,
we go not do filth, and then we.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
Do filth wise words from the Wounders.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, it's got the alliteration.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
The Backbone podcast, the Big Show and Tell from darryl Oh.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Yeah, I don't mind there.
Speaker 5 (11:45):
But we're not showing anything, are we. We're mostly just telling.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
We're showing them more personal aspects of our lives.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
That's true, Tom says the Failer's talk shit, call a
spade a spade.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
There's something in that.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
How about this from Jonathan Memoirs of a Midnight Steamer
That stirs to me should be a podcast special, you know,
like a mini series.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
It should be like six one hour pods.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
Of me talking about doing a steamer.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
No, I think I think we should. We should all
tell our steamer, our story about the first time we
heard about Yeah, Kesey's first midnight steamer.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
We've got someone on the line with the name suggestion next,
So let's go to them. See Tom, you're.
Speaker 7 (12:28):
There, mate, it's got down boys here he is. Tellm
how are you going, mate.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Oh, just crarect them one.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
You know, hey, what's your name? Suggestion?
Speaker 7 (12:38):
There tom a couple for of these boys. Well, you
know the nights of old when the when the nights
were out and around the neighborhood, they took.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Them back to the dungeon, right, the dungeon things got
up down there, So call it the Fungeen.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
The fungent, the funge the hiarcky fungent. All right, well,
let's we'll add that one there to the list.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Have you got another one? I've put them on hold? Good?
Speaker 5 (13:03):
The Little Show, Mogi and the Jets, The Big Show,
four play podcast.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
You know what I like the sound of It's simple.
The intro that's good.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
Yeah, that is amazing. Well, well, so what is it?
The podcast? Out try we just got, we just got
call it the Hadagy Big Show. And then just in
the feet it just is. The outro is short, simple
and to the point.
Speaker 1 (13:31):

ride with the street Dogs?

Speaker 5 (13:53):

literally nothing. This is what it sounds like when you
ride on a street dog. How secks that man?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
That thing was flying. Yeah, it was really good.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Don't forget. We've got two to give away. One that's
happening on our show tomorrow.
Speaker 7 (14:15):

and we've got another one to give away for the
North Island chapter.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Yeah, it'll do that. Yeah, and it is beautiful.
Speaker 7 (14:30):
And because it's so silent, you don't even know it's there.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
It just sneaks up on you.
Speaker 2 (14:34):

Speaker 7 (15:09):
No, not really, but not.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yes. I mean if you've driven a trek to men,

A race, treat the horses? Yeah, Jace?
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Your lie is that us stock cars not go cart racing?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:36):

Speaker 7 (17:37):
I started off with the carts though, keasy before.
Speaker 2 (17:39):

Used to race those before the stock cars. Are we're though?
What track? Yeah, we're and what engine.
Speaker 7 (17:45):

Speaker 1 (18:06):
The Hallarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
Speaker 7 (18:10):
Tune in on Radio Mittellica.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
The time is forty seven. Let's talk television. What's on
the Telly with Mike Minogue.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
You when we're on the plane going over to Magic
Ground there? What's a movie called Is This Thing on Ah?
Speaker 6 (18:41):
With Will Nat and Laura Dern and directed by Bradley Cooper,
based on the true story or loosely based on the
true story of a Scottish comedian who broke up.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
He was just an everyday sort of you know.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
Just just an every day sort.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Of a feeling there and he broke up with his wife.
They were getting divorced. In fact, I think they did
get divorced. And then at that point the guy decided
that he would go out and become a stand up
comedian and became immensely successful, which just proved that his
wife was dragging him down the whole time.
Speaker 5 (19:14):
I don't know if that was the sort of anyway, As.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Luck would have it, one day his partner walked at
his former wife walked in on a date, and that
was how she discovered that her ex husband was now
a stand up and his whole set was based on
his ex wife and how they'd broken up, and da,
da da, and at that point she fell back in
love with them and they got back together. Beautiful, beautiful story.
(19:39):
This is a really good film. I really enjoyed it.
It's more of a drama than it is a comedy.
And I would give it three and a half busies
out of a possible five busies. I saw that last year.
I don't easy.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
I reviewed it on the show and I was like,
it wasn't what I was expecting to know, which was
good because I was like, here we go, they're taking
this great story of John Bishop as a comedian who's
great in the UK, and it actually was great. It
was fantastic.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Yeah, I really enjoyed it, really really good.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Is this thing on?
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Is this thing on? And you could watch that on
the Auckland to Brisbane flight that leaves at nine o'clock
in the morning three weeks ago. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (20:15):
Nice, you just reminded me.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
Actually, Mogie, I was on the plane a bit at
Brisie were you and I watched the film Hamnett.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
What did you watch the hell? Yeh, I was sitting
next to you while you watched there.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
It was full on with Jesse Buckley. Yeah, who as
an actor I think is supreme.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
I love it. Well, that's a big call, given she
got the Academy Award for this performance, did she?
Speaker 7 (20:40):
I did not know that.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
There you go, Paul, misscal God, he's a good looking film.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
What a piece of that. He's kind of like at
every Man, except really good looking, really good looking.
Speaker 7 (20:54):
Yeah, but look, I really enjoyed it.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
I thought it was great, basically sort of life of
William Shakespeare, really, isn't it?
Speaker 7 (21:02):
Based on his life?
Speaker 4 (21:03):
And Bill Big Bill and I must I must have met.
I was emotionally moved by the final scenes.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
That's not like you, not at all.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
But I can tell he was an ex But I
was like, am I is that just me freaking out
about going back to brazy or is that actually that
I've been affected by this film? But I was affected
by it and it's really it's really the story of
Pearance coming to Toms with the death of a child.
Oh God, at its heart, very very good. I liked
(21:35):
it a lot, and it was stupid of me to
watch it on that screen because you know what I
was like with that buddy screen on the plane there, keasy.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
They kept trying to put his legrist out but accidentally
folding away his TV.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Yeah, I know I can sort of because we were
sitting a couple of rows back and there's people trying
to get past you to the toilet, Jase, but he
kept on putting your leg out and stopping them and
changing them five bucks.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
I know, mate, I know I should have watched it
on a big screen or I beg screen, but no, look,
I'll give it a solid four busies.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (22:03):
And what was it called Hamnet?
Speaker 7 (22:04):
Hamnet?
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Why is it ham neet not hamlet?
Speaker 2 (22:06):
You have to watch to.
Speaker 7 (22:07):
Find out back in the day that was the same.
Speaker 5 (22:09):
Oh, write a hamnet was the same as a Hamlet.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (22:13):
Last night, State of Origin was on at ten good
Stuff Fellers and Before that, I was watching the Location,
Location Location with my wife and I was running that
bitting pot thing, and I was on the group chat
there and everyone's when you're gonna place the bits keys,
and I was like, Hey, I'm just finishing up Location,
Location Location, And then a couple of people were like,
(22:34):
surely that's just a gag on the radio, and I
was like, no, it is not, no, sir, I will
place the bits at nine point thirty. True story. Great episode.
They both found a house, both couples.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Speaking of which we need to find out how you
win on the Yeah, I think.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
You'll be interested to find out. Yeah, yeah, maybe after five.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Yeah sounds good man. Here's the Hives, the.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Whole actually Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy. Tune
in week days at four on Radio.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Hold.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Ike, welcome back your massive backbones. Hope you're getting through
your Thursday afternoon. You're listening to the Big Show, by
the way, brought to you by Toledo's.
Speaker 5 (23:12):
Toledo's Natural Ellitt. You like beverages, tell your sports club
to stock them today. What are you eating them? Mog
It smells yummy.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
What I've got over here is a little bit of taties, tatoes,
and some kind of a chicken number. I got home
last night. No dinner there for me. Go home at
ten o'clock at night, No dinner there for me. Was
your wife with you? With you at the show?
Speaker 6 (23:44):
No?
Speaker 2 (23:44):
No, no, she was at home you today. I remember
she sent me a photo of the kitchen last night,
and I went into the fridge there and found a
little container. It was rammed with a delicious meal. Yum,
in fact, two meals. I've had this for lunch already.
Now I'm having it for dinner. All right.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
That is so cool.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
It's so young, guys. I'd love to offer you some,
but I want it.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
Hey, just on that front, Keezy, how was your mince bowl?
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Oh yeah? How was your bowl of mints? Man?
Speaker 5 (24:10):
It was a por mint bowl. It wasn't a pork
mints bowl. You guys have you guys have completely changed
what it actually was. It was a burrito bowl and
it was delicious.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
You were fuming about it though, when your wife texted
you that that's what you were having for dinner. You
were efan and jeff and stomping around here feast out
of your one years. And then it's from the sounds
that you changed the meal when you got home.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Well, I mean I did change me when I got home.
That's because I got home and I was like, oh,
do we actually have like tortillas the wraps? She was like,
you've got tortiers in there? Was I might just have
a burrito and she burst into tears. She well, she
rang me.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
She did minutes.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
It wasn't fifteen minutes later, because we were watching Location,
Location Location fifteen minutes.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Later, fifty minutes later, fifty.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
Halfway through Location Location Location, just as Phil Spencer and
Kersey also were about to find the perfect house for
a lovely couple, she said, Hey, I pause, I've got
to go and talk to Jace.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Yes, well, just on that front. We had a very
very good chap.
Speaker 5 (25:08):
And I said, is whilst I was watching State of Origin,
she was on the phone to you because she was
in the bedroom at that point.
Speaker 7 (25:14):
Yes, she was still with me at that point.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
She's still with you.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Well, she was still chatting to me. It's a four
hour conversation keys. Hey you But speaking of which, I
had a little chat to my to my wife last night.
Speaker 7 (25:27):
Got a proposal for you for me and your wife.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Ah aid I've already told both you and your wife
we're not interested, Jays or is this a different proposal a.
Speaker 7 (25:39):
Whole Come on, man.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
The Hillarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Tune in on radio indeed Lincoln Park there on the
radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday evening.
Speaker 7 (25:54):
The time is ten minutes past five o'clock.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Now some of you will be aware that Key at
the moment, it's in the process of it's not definite
by any means, but he's thinking about putting his house
on the market, aren't you easy?
Speaker 5 (26:08):
Yeah, I'm going to put my house in the market.
It's our first house, a little brecon tile granny flat.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
It's not an opportunity. It's just not free advertising for you.
It's not a do what it was once a first home,
first home buy, a kind of first home by his dream.
Speaker 5 (26:23):
Yeah, well it was when we bought it, and now
it's lovely. But in order to get the next house
that we want, we've got a specific requirements. That house
doesn't pop up very often. It turns out we're quite fussy,
especially me. I like a big garage in the in Auckland.
It's hard to get a big garage, so we might
have to rent for a while until that house pops
up for sale.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
What is interesting you should say that because I've been
trying to convince Kezy, as you know, Mogi, to move
into the city.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Which is weird.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Why is that weird?
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Well, that is trying to make you move into the city. Yeah, yeah,
I think it's odd. I think he's trying. I think
he's trying to drag you into his sort of grim
way of living. So he was going to come over
to your place early in the morning. This is what
I picture. You've got an apartment. James knocks on your
door at about five o'clock in the morning. It makes
you walk all over the city.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
With a pair of big boots for me to put on.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
That's right, Keezy, Hey, I tell you this place down
the road here, it's bloody great. Come on mate, this
morning morning, missus Kesey.
Speaker 5 (27:30):
She doesn't said too bad. I wouldn't mind that. Maybe
not every day, yeah, maybe not at five.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
But I was and I was talking to my wife,
and funnily enough, it was just after I got off
the phone with your wife, who was in tears.
Speaker 5 (27:41):
This per right, and this conversation definitely happened.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
And I said to my wife, you know, Kezy is
thinking of, you know, renting for a while while they
sell their house, and I'm trying to convince him to
maybe move into the city.
Speaker 7 (27:55):
And my it was my wife's suggestion.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
She said, well, why don't you ask if Kezy and
as well maybe want to sublet our apartment, because you've
been to our apartment fell us.
Speaker 7 (28:04):
It's pretty big.
Speaker 5 (28:05):
I know your apartment very well.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
This is it here the jews plars.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
So you guys would vacate it and then we're staying
there from.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
No, no, we'd section it up so that you could
live there as well as me and my wife and
my daughter.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
Right, how many bedrooms is it?
Speaker 7 (28:22):
It's two bedrooms.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
But what we've got in the lounge area is a
fold out couch and you know those Japanese screens.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
You can get, oh yeah, you.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Know what, and the dragons, and so we could put
one of those up. The really good news is we've
got two bathrooms.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
Oh sweet, So we can have one of those bathrooms.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
Yeah, because we certainly wouldn't want a Kezy midnight steamer
in our bathroom. I mean, that'll keep us away all night, right,
I mean the getting rid of and then the after it.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
Hour and you just flush it. I mean, and then
you just put the seat down light a match. I mean,
it's not a big deal.
Speaker 7 (28:55):
But it's you know, it doesn't have to be a
permanent thing.
Speaker 5 (28:58):
What the steamer? No guy flushing, because.
Speaker 7 (29:01):
It would only be a short term thing. You know,
we get along great. I get along very well with
your wife.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
I get along very very well indeed with your wife.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
And my daughter wouldn't mind. She's never there anyway, Megi. Yeah,
she's always just bound. I think it sounds great.
Speaker 5 (29:14):
So he's okay with it.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
I'm fine with it. I think it's good because.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
That's the one thing I was worried that Megi wouldn't
okay it.
Speaker 7 (29:20):
You've already spoken to Mogi about it, said that's sensible.
Speaker 5 (29:23):
Pugs is giving to the big thumbs up.
Speaker 7 (29:24):
Yeah, great stuff.
Speaker 5 (29:26):
Okay, Well how much are you paying currently?
Speaker 7 (29:28):
Well, we're paying currently eight fifty.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Right, yes, wow, jeez, maybe I reckon geez, bloody Nora. Right,
So we're thinking if we submit it with you you
guys chipping maybe eight five.
Speaker 5 (29:44):
No, that's how much you're paying for a whole. So
how much do you want us to pay half of
it four twenty five. Yes, that's right, but that's we'll
pay four fifty and you pay four No.
Speaker 4 (29:52):
No, well, we're taking responsibility for the play. Anything goes
wrong there, it's my wife and I that cop it
and so, but eight fIF that's a bargain for where
it is.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
Eight I'm covering the entire rent. And you guys are
still there, and I'm not allowed to do a midnight
steamer and your toilet.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
And our toilet. I mean you can look at it
like they're still there, but all you can look look
at it like they're still there. So you get the
apartment and you get company.
Speaker 7 (30:18):
It came very good company. I will warn you.
Speaker 4 (30:20):
I'm prone to a bit of nude walking around.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Well could you not do that? When my wife's also
who's sleeping in the lounge? Shows is this keesy and
his wife that will be out there? Or is it
you and your wife that will be out there? Or
will you alternate? No?
Speaker 4 (30:33):
No, no they can have that because we've got to
fold out couch. Ye no, no, it'll be easy. And yeah,
his wife, I'm not sleeping and it's bloody uncomfortable as
buggery Okay, we think about it.
Speaker 5 (30:46):
Okay, I'll think about it. You know, I really willing
to budge on the eight fifty things. No, okay, well
I'll run it past my wife.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
She'll be keen.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
She is well, as I said when I speaking to
her last night, she went, my god, Kristen even ments you.
Speaker 7 (31:00):
The idea that this could happen. I'm in, I'm in.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
She said that, yeah, totally right.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Okay, Okay, I'll think about it. Someone here ticks through.
That's a bargain, bloody bargain.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Tell you what this is a tune.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
The Whodarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
In four on radio.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Hold a sound garden there on the radio, hold Arkey
Big show this Thursday evening. The time is twenty four
minutes past five o'clock. Now, of course state of origin.
Last night Fells and I believe Kezy you had another
pot in your possession.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
I was doing another pot, which is where heaps people
log in and put money down, and then we collicked
up all the money and then I placed bits on
behalf of everyone, and there's a group chat and everyone
basically has a crack at me.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
The entire time this time.
Speaker 5 (31:48):
For the pot Feller's seventeen hundred dollars. Wow, Wow, of
listener money.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Because how much of you lost so far? We need
to three and a half three and a half thousand
dollars across thirty bits. Thirty to night You've made thirty
bits won zero and the odds for there are one
and one billion chances if.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
You were flipping a coin and you got all thirty wrong,
one in one billion. So yes, I'm down three and
a half k.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Now.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
Last night I was like, that's it. I'm going to
hitch my bits all right. I'm bidding on Queensland and
I'm bidding on New South Wales right, just head to head.
And then I was like no, my like it'll be
a draw, yes, So can I just say off the
bat I put. I can't remember how much it was
on Queensland. I think it was two hundred dollars on Queensland,
two hundred dollars on New South Wales. New South Wales win. Hey,
(32:32):
I want to bit my first ever bit just.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
To get a win. That's yeah.
Speaker 7 (32:35):
Yeah, And everyone on the.
Speaker 5 (32:36):
Chat was like, keesey, just do that that way you've
got to win.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
Yeah, thanks fellows that not really because the odds would
have been different. Let's say one of those teams was
probably paying less South Wales. So you still come out
of the nit loss. Came at a loss, that's right,
it's going to ask yeah, correct, Okay.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
The first multi I put on was the one that
Josh Reynolds. We spoke to him yesterday and r else
he said, hammer so tebiway feedo to score and Catoni's stags.
One of those guys scored, the other didn't. That bit
did not come in. All right, here we go. Here
are my bits all a kauhat to score a try,
colon to score a try. He actually went off injured,
which is exciting. The entire game to be under forty
(33:16):
point five points total because it was raining over there.
Forty two cam Munster Man of the match plays for Queensland.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Wrong.
Speaker 5 (33:25):
I was like, look, James Di this goes back in
the side for New South Wales. He'll if they win,
he'll probably score a try. Get man of the match.
He correct, New South Wales. Sorry, yeah, so those are
my anytime try score and those those are my like
safe bits. Yeah, surely those are going to surely this
thing to happen next up. I did a multi Jojo
Forfeeded to score he's on the right wing for Queensland
(33:46):
and Stags to score for New South Wales. Neither did.
Brian Thure and Hamiso Tabuwai Feedo to have two tries
combined makes sense to me, so that it makes perfect sense. Yeah,
that one combined. Another multi here the Hammer to score
and Nathan Cleary to have six plus points.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Here he is.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
Three dollars twenty six. I put turn of dollars on that,
so I am now up six hundred or something. Yeah,
very exciting.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
We're down five five and a half.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
Added for Blake anytime try scorer. A multi here, the
Hammer to score, Queensland to win one to twelve camera
months to be anytime try scorer. Oh god, this is exhausting.
New South Wales to win thirteen plus ery grant anytime
try scorer Jojoe for Feeder to be the first try
(34:40):
scorer of the match. You guys are still I'm loving it, Yeah,
goodly loving it. This is to me what I always
imagine gambling is.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
To be honest, it kind of is.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
I put twenty five dollars on a wahs hail Mary
both Kurt Capewa and Mitch Jarant to score. Hey fails
if that had come in though, Oh yeah, far out
another multi here, New South Wales to win the thirteen
plus to order score and Adam from Milla Blake to
have one hundred and twenty five plus run meters ah
first try scorer the hammer Hamiso Tabuai Fido first try
(35:14):
score a cooler on the wing there for New South
Wales James Tod's to have.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Two more tries.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
Oh god, I've still got one more here Fellas a
multi Brian to the hammer and Salwyn Corbo to all
score a try that was paying eleven dollars. So out
of all of my I placed twenty bits, so I'm
up to fifty bits.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
I hit two and one of them. I don't count
one of them. Just I went when you literally take it,
you're putting money on both. So just so that you
can say that you've won and you take a nit
loss of your bit, that's right, I I that's one
with an answer. So I feel like you're really you're
fifty and one, you're forty nine and one. Yeah, I
had Fellas, I so you've you've you've had it a
(36:02):
total of five thousand, two hundred dollars.
Speaker 5 (36:04):
So I gained seven hundred, but I lost one thousand
so further.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
So, yeah, that's right. So you're now you're now lost
across three bets. You've lost forty nine bets out of
a possible fifty. That's right, You've won one and you've
lost four thousand and five hundred dollars.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
But the good part is there maybe a part. The
part you're forgetting is that it's all listeners money.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
It's your money. That's right, I put to And the
other thing is that you are trying. This isn't a joke.
I'm having a crack. He's having a go over here.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
I chose these tri scores because of like defensive matchups
and all sorts of stuff. And then guess what happens.
The game happens, and none of that stuff you think
happen happens.
Speaker 7 (36:45):
Unbelievable, it really is.
Speaker 5 (36:48):
But anyway, keeping it up for the next part, it'll
be happening soon if you want to get.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
The whodiarchy. Big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
Four on radioes.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
Indeed, Bill, I am there on the radio Hodacky Big Show.
This beautiful, glorious Thursday evening. Now, Fellas, Uh, we love
ourselves a bit of culture. Don't we love a bit
of film action? Because we often talk about films, don't we, Fellas?
Speaker 2 (37:13):
We do.
Speaker 7 (37:14):
We love a bit of acting too, don't we, Fellas.
Speaker 5 (37:16):
You guys are actors, Yeah, well, of course.
Speaker 7 (37:19):
In some of us are award winning actors. Unbelievablirious.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Well, have I got a treat for you because we've
got an actor and a director in the studio with
us right now.
Speaker 7 (37:30):
I'm talking about Chelsea Preston Crayford. How's life?
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Oh my god? What an introduction.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Now normally he called you a mad bastard, but I
think he's pulled back for some reason.
Speaker 7 (37:39):
I I do we actually Chelsea.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
True story, We had a very well known British comedian
come in the other day. To be honest, I didn't
know who he was, but apparently he was massive and
I went blah blah blah, are you a mad bastard?
And he was horrified. Genuinely, he was like, sorry, what
what do you mean?
Speaker 3 (38:00):
That's kind didn't get it.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
That's kind of how the fellow's chat on our show,
you know what I mean? And it was like, I said,
you could call me a mad bastard, but it was like, no, thanks,
was it? What was his name? Because can you remember
remember being Elton?
Speaker 3 (38:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
We know, Chelsea. Are you a mad bastard?
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Yeah, I'm a mad Yeah?
Speaker 5 (38:23):
Hell yeah, I like it.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Your back. But we got you when today because I
went into you last night at a play and we
went and saw well, not together, but we're both at
the same play, play Fight.
Speaker 8 (38:35):
I was actually sitting opposite you. I was I was
checking in with your reaction every now, and I wondered
about that because that's what I like when you go
and see a play that's in the round, yeah, and
you know people.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Well it was in the round, but it was also
fully lit.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Just for non actors. In the round means that the
stages in the center and the seating is around around.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Yeah, And so I was conscious that you were, Chelsea
and your partner Guy Montgomery were directly on the other
side of all of the acting that was going on.
So I was conscious to try and stay looking at
the actors and not look at you. And it gets
really emotional and then I'm thinking, well, now I'm crying. Yeah,
it now Chelsea and Guy are probably laughing at me.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
That is what we were doing, was saying, oh, Chelsea,
that you were stone faced through the whole thing. There
was not a spirit of emotion whatsoever.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
You was looking at me.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
Loime, Can I ask you, because you know you're a
very successful actor yourself, both Mogi and I have done
our acting in our time, how do you feel as
an actor being on the stage with your audience fully lit?
Because then I would find that off pudding because I
preferred not to see the audience, if you know what
I mean.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Yes, you want to pretend they're not there.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
They're not there, They're just left their phones because they're
so distracted.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Well that's the dangerous Yes, I did.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
It.
Speaker 8 (40:00):
Did mean people probably didn't check their phones as much,
which is which is great. I mean, I think that's
the bare minimum we could do as audience.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
To be fair, though, Jason, whenever we do a live
show now, our entire audience is fully lit at all times.
Speaker 7 (40:14):
Yeah, that's true, but.
Speaker 8 (40:16):
You don't have to you don't have to look them
in the eye, you don't have to know that, you
don't have to see them in your peripherree, which.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
Is the main thing. And also when you do a play,
because let's say what the play was. It was so
beautiful yea.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
It was called play Fight.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
Yeah, yeah, amazing.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
It's phenomenal when everybody should go to it.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
Unreal, so beautiful, and.
Speaker 8 (40:37):
Yeah, you can kind of every night is different with
a play, and sometimes it feels like it's going well,
and sometimes it feels like it's not going well, and you.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Don't want to then catch someone's.
Speaker 5 (40:47):
Eye because if you're having a chakra then you look
up and see old Mogi, you know, that would put
me right off.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Yeah, exactly. And some people even left during the show.
That's not I think, just to go to the toilet.
Speaker 8 (40:57):
Yeah, one person person. And I thought it's a bit
early yet it was early on, it.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Was very early, and I did. But at the end
of this play last night, I saw you, and I
was sort of I had a bit of a conundrum
because I wanted to obviously congratulate you on the fact
that you've got your film out that you've written and
directed Caterpillar, which is in its third week of release
in cinemas now, And I thought, God, I hope she
doesn't ask me if I've seen it, because I just
(41:26):
want to be able to congratulate her and then go, Yeah.
The first thing out of your mouth was have you
seen it? And my answer was no, no, I haven't.
So I went and saw it this.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
Morning, promised, And look look at you making amend.
Speaker 5 (41:41):
You making amends.
Speaker 7 (41:44):
Over compensating, making amends. I'll tell you.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
I asked him a direct question.
Speaker 7 (41:49):
Exactly what we'll do.
Speaker 4 (41:50):
We'll go to a chune and we'll come back and
talk directly about the film.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
What's it called again, Joe Caterpillar? Yeah, nice mate.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
The Big Show, Jason, Mike and Keysy tune in.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
Four on radio Indeed news There on the radio hod
Archy Big Show. We're talking to actor director Chelsea Preston
Craford who's just released well it's been released for three weeks.
Mogi was saying, you are a film that you wrote
and direct directed. Caterpillar, tell us about it just in
(42:24):
like can you encapsulate it in like three sentence?
Speaker 2 (42:29):
I saw it this morning, just so you know. I
didn't fall asleep. And it's a story of three generations
of women living in the same house in Wellington. It's
semi auto biographical because and it's sort of set. The
soundtrack's really good. It puts Yeah, there you go, so
the scribe and there's all sorts of so. And it's
(42:52):
sort of a semi auto biographical in the sense that
you are obviously the daughter coming of age as a
tea ten ager. Your mother, whose real name is Gaileen,
is Maxine and this the disguising is really poor. Let
me say she's a film director, a filmmaker. And then
the grandmother lives in the house as well, and sort
of take fills the gaps and fills the.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
Space domestic glue of the house.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 8 (43:18):
The grandmother, the grandmother, and the film is set in
the time in their family life when her mind is
starting to play tricks on her and the fabric of
their family is changing underneath their feet.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
They're going through a massive transition.
Speaker 8 (43:34):
And they don't really know it yet, and they're all
they've all got pretty drastically different needs.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
And is that element of dementia that is, you know,
sort of is the unsteady foundation of the film. Is
that true to what your experience was?
Speaker 8 (43:47):
Yeah, Look, the film is I think of it as
auto fiction. So lots of books are auto fiction. We
don't hear it a lot in film, but it's like
set in the world of my life, but it's sort
of none of it happened. Yeah, right, but the overall
arc happens. So yeah, my grandma. I lived with my
mum and my grandma and she had dementia and I
listened to Stella. Yeah, and a lot of things are
(44:10):
drawn from life, but the story is made up.
Speaker 5 (44:13):
Was your grandma because you're in the film your grandmother's
name is Huia, Yeah, she part Mary in real life.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
No, no, but my grandma's name was Touy.
Speaker 5 (44:20):
Touy, right, just because the reason I ask is because
my name lived with us. Her name was hard Ata, right,
So similar thing. She's a you know, older Maori woman
who was very staunch and very outspoken in our house
my entire childhood. And then she also had dementia as
well towards the end there and I was like, wow,
this is really resonating with me.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (44:38):
This is the thing we've found is it's pretty I mean,
I think specificity, like you get specific.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
And it becomes universal.
Speaker 8 (44:48):
And that's what we're finding is that a lot of
people are resonating with the film. It's landing with way
more people than we thought.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
Like we had a.
Speaker 8 (44:55):
Conversation last night about how often stories that center around
women are marketed to women. But if this was a
family of three dudes, I don't think we would market
it like that. I think it would be a story
about a family that can resonate with all sorts of people.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
Well, that's right, I mean, And that play last night
was about three, you know, three women through three various
stages of their lives, starting at teen and teenhood. But
you know, there's plenty of males sitting there. You're not
sitting there thinking, well, I don't know anything about women,
but you know about people, and you know about what
that hardship is growing up.
Speaker 8 (45:31):
And ultimately it's about It's a human story.
Speaker 4 (45:35):
And I feel it could be just me probably, but dementia,
you know, we talk about it quite a lot on
this show.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
Actually we.
Speaker 4 (45:44):
Actually very much. You know, I think a lot of
people are directly.
Speaker 7 (45:49):
Affected by it.
Speaker 4 (45:50):
It feels like it's something that's more prevalent than it
used to be, but that maybe.
Speaker 5 (45:56):
People are talking about maybe more.
Speaker 7 (45:57):
People are talking about it than they used to.
Speaker 8 (45:59):
It feels like so many people are by it, like
the majority of people.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
Are affected by it. But it's a.
Speaker 8 (46:05):
Really and That's what's been really clear putting the film
out into the world as well.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
So many people are deeply affected by this story.
Speaker 8 (46:11):
But yah, you know, and I hope it's uplifting, but
it is also you know, it's a it's an emotional
story and hopefully quite funny as well, Like you got
to laugh it.
Speaker 2 (46:21):
Is it is really funny that And there's a whole
section of a horrendous section, can I say, of the
of the teenage character and she's at a party and
she's hammering the purse and a boy's heading and it
is just an absolute flashback. It is sculling Voger out
of the bottle. Oh yeah, absolutely, you know, yeah, everybody's
been through that sort of stuff.
Speaker 8 (46:41):
Yeah, it was really important to me that the party
wasn't cool. Yeah, Like I feel like I grew up
watching parties in American movies, and then I went to
my first party as a teenager, and I was like, well,
where's the red cups?
Speaker 3 (46:54):
Where's the.
Speaker 8 (46:56):
Like why do I have to stand buy KGB's, Like
stand outside like a king and give someone ten bucks
to go in and get KGB's. And the clicking in
my backpack and the down lights are on in the
house and there's like ten people there.
Speaker 5 (47:11):
Lighting and staging even back then. Yeah, it's just amazing.
Speaker 7 (47:15):
Just on that very quickly, Chelsea.
Speaker 4 (47:17):
Of course, your mom is a very famous filmmaker.
Speaker 7 (47:22):
How was it working with her with this project?
Speaker 3 (47:26):
Well, I didn't work with her.
Speaker 7 (47:28):
Oh right, she's not the.
Speaker 4 (47:32):
No.
Speaker 8 (47:33):
I mean I consulted with her all the time because
obviously it's a super personal story, so I always wanted
to make sure that she had a chance to say,
you're not saying that.
Speaker 3 (47:42):
Yeah, And of course.
Speaker 8 (47:45):
I think we always seek each other's advice on the
things that we're doing. But yeah, no, I mean she
does have a credit on the film actually, and that
is stunt driver.
Speaker 3 (47:56):
We used her nineteen eighty seven Fiat.
Speaker 8 (48:01):
The car and she was the best person at driving
it beautiful.
Speaker 7 (48:05):
Well, Chelsea, thank you so much for coming in. We
it's out now.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
Isn't it.
Speaker 8 (48:11):
Cow And And the one thing I would say about
I think what a lot of people don't know about
film releases in New Zealand is that it depends on
the box office, Like how long a film stays in
the theaters depends on how many.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
People show up to see it.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
Yeah, so if.
Speaker 8 (48:30):
You want to see it. Don't assume it's going to
hang around, hang around. Star Wars will be there in
a month. But I just want to see Caterpillar.
Speaker 3 (48:38):
See it on the pic.
Speaker 7 (48:39):
Can you remind me.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
To see Caterpillar tomorrow morning wherever it's on.
Speaker 5 (48:48):
Chelsea Preston Crayford, thank you so much for coming in,
and if you are listening, to make sure you go
along and see Caterpillar in New Zealand theaters right now.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
And I do just want to say it really is
a beautiful film. I've told you before we came on
and me over, I was bawling in the back of
a cinema at nine, well probably ten to thirty by
that stage this morning. It's a great film. Get along
and see it, male or female.
Speaker 3 (49:08):
Thank you, Mike Puddler Mud.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.

Are you going to have Japanese? Actually order?
Speaker 7 (49:53):
Don't know yet.
Speaker 4 (49:54):
I haven't already seen the menu, you see. I don't
know if you guys do this, I personally don't.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
There.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
People before they go to a restaurant they go, oh,
I'm going to check up the menu to go there.
Speaker 7 (50:04):
I don't do that. I want to be surprised.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
You got to be in the moment. Don't you be
looking at here like googling, looking up the menu. I'm
going to have this, this, this, and this what it's
the sort of it's the actions of a lunatic.
Speaker 4 (50:15):
I agree, yeah, but this was actually a past. Does
it incidentally that we walked past yesterday?
Speaker 7 (50:24):
We walked past?
Speaker 2 (50:25):
She won?
Speaker 5 (50:27):
Well, my wife does what you guys are talking about.
She looks up the menu, and then she might also
go on the Instagram page and have a look for
that particular item just to see what it looks like.
Then she knows exactly what she's having. And then we
as soon as we get to the restaurant, you order
and then it comes out and you eat.
Speaker 2 (50:39):
It and you go home perfectly normal. Man.
Speaker 5 (50:43):
What were you saying though, Jason?
Speaker 4 (50:46):
I don't want you moving into my flat now.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
Man ah.
Speaker 5 (50:49):
But anyway, for those that have just joined us, the
reference for an hour ago, we.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
Walked past it yesterday and I said to my wife, oh,
we must remember to go here, and I remember to
go there, when she said, whish we go?
Speaker 5 (51:01):
So yesterday we must remember it, and then today I
remember it.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
There's awesome, wow, because you.
Speaker 4 (51:06):
Guys are worrying about my failing mental health, but actually
on my memory well mental health.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
And I think this proves that you think that was
worth talking about.
Speaker 4 (51:20):
I am genuine because I do this all the time
where I see a place and they go, I've gotta
go there, And then when it comes to it's like
movies and people go, oh, you've got to watch this movie.
And you get home, Andy, you go, what was that
movie again?
Speaker 2 (51:30):
And like Mogi, what was that movie.
Speaker 7 (51:32):
You were talking about? Because it just goes in one
ear and out the other ear.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
Of course, it's funny because a minute ago, Jess, we're
just talking about you know, what constitutes the ramblings and
actions of a lunatic? Yeah, and here we are true.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
Hey coming up your suggestions for what we should call
the podcast outto.
Speaker 5 (51:52):
Yeah, we're rebranding it a Holy Potexie on three four
eight three. Feel free to keep it coming. You could
win fifty bucks cash.
Speaker 7 (51:58):

Speaker 4 (53:05):

Speaker 5 (53:06):
Delicious creaminess? You know all the taste.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
It sounds like you're bullshit.
Speaker 7 (53:15):
So what's the one thing you like the most?
Speaker 2 (53:17):
Dylan?

Speaker 5 (53:24):
What what ice cream company do you work for?

Speaker 2 (53:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (53:30):
Yeah, mate, d ice bloody good. Fairy bread flavor is
my favorite.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
So you're the guy behind the counter making ice creams.
Speaker 5 (53:40):
Fairy bread is a bit of a kiddy flavor, kesy Dylan.
I'm a kiddy at heart, man.
Speaker 7 (53:44):
It's all what flavor do you like?
Speaker 2 (53:46):
Easy?
Speaker 5 (53:47):
Never mind?
Speaker 7 (53:48):
Tell me fairy bread.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
It's got sprinkles on it. Do you know who else
likes that? My daughter? That's her favorite.
Speaker 7 (53:55):
Tell me, Dylan, do you have run and Raisin?
Speaker 5 (53:59):
You know we had that out at one stage, but
we we put it in the back boner for a bit.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (54:05):
Like, hey, Dylan, so I understand you need some reno's done. Man,
What have you got going on? Yeah, man, about halfway
through staying in the house and there's a couple of
high walls. I need someone to hold the letter for

Speaker 5 (54:31):
Also. Also, Dylan, you're in the draw for five hundred

Speaker 2 (54:36):

Speaker 5 (54:36):
So ma, actually you get your phone on okay?
Speaker 2 (54:38):
Yeah, man too good, go back anytime. Man. Nice. I
wonder how much you change the hold letter. It's good.
That's a good question because you could have been couldn't
be a full rate? Is? It doesn't really acquire a
huge amount of skill. No, you have to be attender.
You can't get on your phone. No, want to be
quite clear about that. You just have to hold the ladder.
(54:59):
You're just holding letter. It's strictly a safety precaution.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (55:02):
Mean I suppose you could sit on it and be
on your phone sit up there. Yeah, you could sit

podcast Outro, which is basically us warming up for the show,
just having a casual chitty chat before the show.
Speaker 5 (56:00):
A fellows Fellows, Yeah, and Mogi, it was your idea. Actually,
you think we need to rebrand it.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
You just just spice it up a bit because it
sort of feels like because it's such a simple name,
that we've got. As people are sort of going through,
I might listen to a new podcast. The outro isn't
really grabbing anybody's attention. Yeah, do you know what I'm saying?
You want to grab grab people's attention as they're sort
of browsing through the various podcasts available to them.
Speaker 4 (56:23):
Because you often see you know, they have sort of
clever names, don't they.
Speaker 7 (56:27):
Podcast they sort of grab your attention.
Speaker 5 (56:29):
I saw a great one the other day. It was
called Extremely Casual Gamers.
Speaker 2 (56:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I never heard of it, Wellington
Paranormal Podcast. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:49):
Just stop because you think I'm opening up the locker
and what's It's all this fililth.
Speaker 4 (56:55):
It just fools all out, you know, because there is
a lot of filth in the ultro.
Speaker 2 (56:59):

Speaker 5 (57:23):
Dizzy and the Fellers love it. This is from a
j The Smart Bucket, not Bad Ship Talks.

Speaker 5 (58:00):
Yeah, I mean you could call it the Douche on
a the the Douche Report. How about this from Rory?
How about three perfect Tubes which doesn't really make sense.
Speaker 4 (58:14):
No, you need the context there, just for people that
don't know what that is. I do three perfect tubes
every morning, fatally.
Speaker 5 (58:22):
Yeah, nice good stuff. The Fellers for him, The Fellers
for him? Nah No, no it.
Speaker 4 (58:33):
Sounds too PENTHOUSI well no, it sounds a bit too
earnest for me.
