where I can't see any of you well defined chest features.
It upsets me when you do that. And I don't
know about you, guys. I'm finding it quite hot on

(01:01):
the studio today and you might want to take it off.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Get out your mad dog you six some of them.
But yeah, I'm going greatgowns. Thanks for asking. I think
that your outfit is tight enough for everyone in the studio. Man,
you can see my busies showing off and I don't
some words you would wouldn't use, I'm not going to
say them. Actually I stop myself just there. But it
is a little bit woman. I probably am going to
strip off later, but the absence makes the heart grow

(01:26):
fond to hoodie Jay. That's true, you know, so when
I finally do take off this massive jersey, you are
going to be for ofthen.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Having said that, you know what often happens to me
on a Sunday. I'll be Sunday afternoon work again to
mind and then I go But hang on, hold up,
get to see old magie.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Does that make you uncomfortable, little Morgi?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, it's been five years of this kind of Yeah.
Well h R says it's one hand of percent sexual harassment. Yeah,
but if I'm going to get any kind of harassment,
sexual is the kind I want.

Speaker 6 (01:59):
Total here are you going to kesy?

Speaker 7 (02:00):
You?

Speaker 6 (02:00):
Mad Doggie? Got a sick lid? Brother? Is it a
new hoodie? Because it's looking pretty shiny.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
This is a brand new hoodie. Yeah, shakesly, I got
it when we're in Brisbane, did you yet? I haven't
watched it yet, so it still looks new. Yeah, it's
a black hoodie. It's just a black hoodie. No, biggie
got your haircut to you?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
So you can't see your buzzies in it.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
No, I don't have any buzzies yet, Jason, right, yeah,
and I'm working on them though, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Good.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Speaking of buzzies though, how are you?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, very good? Thanks.

Speaker 8 (02:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I got my Nike sweatshirt on and it's really hugging
my buzzies. Is it new? It is pretty new. Yeah,
it's pretty new, as you can tell by the gleam.
So you know, I'm feeling good fellas, really looking forward
to the show.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
It's going to be a biggie.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
What's coming up on the show.

Speaker 7 (02:45):
What's happening on the Big Show with Old mogis.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
An opportunity to get into our brand new competition. The
Breakfast Boys and g Lane, the Walking Cursor hiding across
to Sydney as part of the Expert Ultra Beer Guard
and to it, they are going to a grand final
of some description which we can't describe.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Do they play rugby league at their final?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
They may not, We don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
You can't say what it is explicitly, I can tell
you that much. An opportunity to get into the drawer
for that later on in the show. Also, Old Morgi
is getting a new hog yeah, old Moggi is getting
a new hog. But perhaps most excitedly, we've got old
pugs on. He was away on Friday. He went over
to Australia straight out the back of a huge radio awards.

(03:31):
I don't know if you guys know what he got
up to, but we'll be talking about that a little bit.
Just looking at him here, he looks a little bit Volneyes.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
He does look a bit Voldies.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
But most importantly was the outfit that he wore for
radio awards.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Oh my god, and the response from the audience.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
You know, we'll get into it, we'll get into it,
but it was it was a We put a photo
up of all four of us at the Radio Awards
and it absolutely went all.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
It really did. It was a bold statement, say that much.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
If you'd like to see it, go to the Radio
Hudarchy Facebook or the Hdarkey Big Shows Instagram.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Have a geeze there. We'll get into that next.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
In the meantime, here's pil Jam for.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
You indeed face no more there on the Radio Hodarchy
Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is thirteen minutes
past four o'clock and we've got old Pug sign in
the studio with us O. Pugs.

Speaker 7 (04:28):
Hey, fellas, how are you?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah? Good? Thanks Pugs. Now you'll be aware to our
regular listeners that we went to the Radio Awards last
Thursday and on Pugs and he went along with us
as we you know, we went as a whole team. Yeah,
but we didn't we didn't get to chat to him
on the Friday because he bugged off to Australia for
a mate's wedding or something.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
That's exactly what it was.

Speaker 9 (04:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Now, as part of this, the Radio Awards is traditionally
a semi formal affair, so everyone puts their glad rags
on their suits, et cetera. Girls will wear nice faces
and the fellers chuck on their nice bl and stuff. Pugs,
could you just talk us through your outfit?

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Sure, please?

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Yes.

Speaker 9 (05:07):
So I had a new pair of shoes that I
got made in Vietnam.

Speaker 7 (05:11):
There was sort of like paraboot style shoes.

Speaker 9 (05:12):
I was really stoked with those some widely black pants
that I also got made in Vietnam, which.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
I was really stoked with, please continue. And then on
the top half, I had like sort of It was almost.

Speaker 9 (05:28):
Like a ambulance driver jacket, like a paramedic jacket.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I wouldn't have if you turned out like I've broken
my leg and then new rolled in Saint John's ambulance,
So that would have that would have made sense to me.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
My first instinct on the jacket was World War two
flyer pilot, right, So what.

Speaker 9 (05:52):
Sort of military ish? I guess Navy style. Maybe it
was a color Navy because when we're.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Working earlier on in the day, you weren't wearing any
hid weir and I was thinking to myself, Jesus, if
he was wearing.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
That, he could be anything.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah, but the head where you eventually went worth it,
it shocked me to my core.

Speaker 9 (06:11):
I also had a white collared shirt on long sleeve,
just like most of your fellas probably had, and a
tie which many people are red red.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
No, it wasn't random, just a red that well, I
just didn't really go with the outfit for me for.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Me now because it was a red tie, navy blue
jacket done up white shirt underneath grey smart Thanks Chris, Well,
what do you have on your head?

Speaker 7 (06:33):
A beret?

Speaker 6 (06:36):
See? I love it. Man with a sense of human,
so do I.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
The funny thing about the beret.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Is I reckon five people came up to me and
said should we smack him over? Well almost they literally
came up to me, were just like, we'll good with
the beret. I'm not lying, you are seriously about five
people came up and we know, yeah, people that you
loved very closely.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
And I was like, of course we own Pugs.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Can I ask the question when you were putting together
this someb.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
What was the inspiration?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Inspiration? What when when you put it on? What did
you want people to think? You know, hey, there's Pugs,
he's looking like a moron.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Oh well, mission accomplished. Then yeah, feel free to bring
the plane back in for landing.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
And then of course we put a photo app on
the Instagram there and we're inundated with comments, some.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
Of the funniest comments I've written a long time.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Yeah, we'll probably come back. I think we'll just share
a cable.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Yeah we'll read those next Pugs.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Sure.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Yeah. Did you feel good though when you went home
after the night?

Speaker 7 (07:51):
What did I feel good like?

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Did you feel like the outfit had landed with everyone?

Speaker 2 (07:55):
No?

Speaker 5 (07:56):
But I had I had fun in it for sure, Yeah, okay, cool.
We'll read the comments next because they were brilliant. What's
this song?

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Dase?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I thought you looked amazing man.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
The hold Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarky Lincoln Park.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
There on the Radio Holdarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon,
the time time twenty five minutes past four o'clock. We're
talking about the outfits that we wore on the Big
night last week Radio Awards Thursday night, and one particular
outfit that caught the nation's attention.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Yeah, that outfit was worn by Pugs.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Arn't. Oh it's Pugs.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
Yet a fellas, thanks for having me back.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
If you want to see the photo of the four
of us, by the way, I believe it is it
up on the Radio Hodarky Facebook.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
It's yeah, I think it's up on all of.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
It and Hdarky Big Show's Instagram page there if you
like to ste a photo of all of us in
our suits.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Pugs is wearing a beret. Okay, that's I guess that's.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
The showstopping part, isn't it. There's a brain move, but
there's Hugh peg son, you don't the beat of your
own drum, and I've got nothing but respect for you.
It does make you what double take? Recoil? No, not recoil.
It was just so it surprises you. You never seems
to surprise me, the pog Son.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
When I first saw you, I was like, the first
thought I had was what's going on here?

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Yeah? Which is what you were going for, right, Pugs?
When you put the beret on, No, I will say,
and this is genuine.

Speaker 9 (09:28):
When I was in Vietnam, we were in the Harjong
mountains and there were these dudes that will walk around
exactly and they had the exact style fit that I
had on, and I took it from them.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
Oh, they didn't have a tie, but I wanted to
make it.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
You know.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
It was it was a formal night, so I was like,
I put a tie on under it.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
It was kind of a hybrid sort of military, colonial, colonial, corporate.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
The audience summed up exactly what the look was in
the comment section.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
We're going to read some of those for you now, Pugs.

Speaker 9 (09:57):
All right, can I just say this, And I said
to you Jas, when I had as you said in
the last break, I didn't have the hat on during
the day when we all were here, and as soon
as I went to the bathroom and I put it on,
I thought, I'm going to get effing mode for this.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
And he did it anyway, So have changed changed?

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Yeah, let's let's start going through some of the comments there.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Man, This comment from Tony Lyle, there's pug is about
to protect the British.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Channel and a biplane in World War one. Question mark.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
It's sort of a Bigel's reference, there, isn't it really?

Speaker 3 (10:33):
This one from Simon, I will pay anything for the
painting Pugs is about to paint.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
There was there was that element of it. I could
have seen you with your little paintboard there and doing
a land a French landscape.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Jesse Andrew says, I love what call me Pugs is
wearing very powerful statement.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
I don't know what the statement that he thought I
was making more.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
Doesn't Matter's a compliment? You take it? Sure, I tell you.
There's not a lot.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Olie says, wishing Pugs all the best for his new
job with the French Resistance during World War two.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
Brother, so some.

Speaker 7 (11:11):
Support that that made sense to me and that's really nice.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Yet, Yes, this comment here, which I don't get but
you guys do. I think Pugs looks like Schultz of
Hogan's Heroes.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Sergeant Shultz of Hogan's Heroes, the and there is a
striking resemblance.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
This is his catchphrase, Oh nothing, I was not here.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I did not even.

Speaker 9 (11:35):
So that's and and if anybody needs a visual reference,
he's just a fat guy.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Start right hang on his catch phrase, which I don't
think actually played there was.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
That's right right, that was exactly right.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
Comment did a gift for that, didn't you people.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Could know what the what the reference was.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah, someone commented, paint me like one of your French girls,
pug sn it's two for the painter. I'll take that
as Pugs off to the navy or something. Ahoy, pug Usan,
says Marco. How about this one from Lachlan? Okay, but
pug Soun has that ship on. Yeah, yeah, it feels good.

(12:23):
What about this one here from Scott? Check out the
angle on Keesy's pest ears.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Which was an interesting point because I think somebody else
is kezy. You can't lean your head to your to
the side when your ears are on the pest right there.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
I was like, oh my god, it does geez Old.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Kesey's wonky ear is really making his head tilled. And
then Mike said, can't miss those steamed ears anymore, keesy.
So it turned from Pugs into me for a bit.
The Red Snapper says Kim John pug Un. Yeah, Joe
knows how to put that ship onto you, fair.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Pugs looks like he is a World War two code breaker.
Code break.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
That's also a very good call too.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
It's complimentary. Yes, yes, this one here is good too.
From Andy.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
I love how pug Son looks like some war veteran,
but he obviously has a huge dog roll in them pants, which,
of course, if people forget Pugs is packing heat done right,
don't What was that.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Two years ago? That's what I when I first started.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
I mean that's what I thought when I saw the pants.
I said, well, given how you're built, you're kind.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Of have your hand out of the leg, and that's
why you wear the beret because you can back it
take out with you to take away. Do you think
you're wear it again?

Speaker 6 (13:38):
Man?

Speaker 5 (13:39):
What the beret?

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (13:40):
Chucked it in the bim.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
The Hiarchy Big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
in on.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Radio he indeed sound garden there on the radio Darchy
Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty minutes
to five o'clock. Let's have some sport chat well, feelers,

(14:10):
I guess we set off with the cricket at Lord's.
I was fizzing about this. I was very, very excited.
What a great way to sort of spend your weekend too,
you know, I was doing other things. But get up
in the morning after. You know they played the night before,
put the replay on, just have it playing in the background.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
Love it.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Unfortunately, the pitch at Lord's was an absolute shitter. Nonetheless,
it was the same for both sides. We were the
architects of our own demise. Too many drop catchers, crucial
drop catchers in a low scoring match that cost us
quite a number of runs. Disappointing, fair to say, disappointing.

(14:53):
A bit of weather interruption, a bit of bad luck
with umpires, calls, etcetera, etcetera. But we lost play one
hundred fifteen runs at the end of the day and
I think the team themselves will go fellas.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
That was our bad Yeah, that was one of those
ones that we generally have a habit of winning. Actually
those low scoring shitters. That was how we won the
World Teest Championship. Yes, and exactly the same manner. But yeah,
I mean, yeah, you're right in terms of the drop
catches and all that sort of stuff. Absolutely, but I
mean that's not a it's not up to international standard

(15:25):
that pitch. It was an absolute disgrace, it was.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
It was a shocker, absolute shocker, and I've got to
say I really felt for ratching Revendra. He was having
an appalling match. He dropped one in the first innings,
got out first, balled up, then dropped an absolute setter
in the second innings and you could just see on
his face he was like, I want to play this
game anymore. I'm done. Got a scratchy hate in the
second innings. Onwards and upwards though hopefully they take the lessons. Also,

(15:50):
it didn't help us at Matt Henry wasn't at full
he had an injury so he was back. Yeah, he
was a stripe bowler for that perfect conditions, fast right,
and Duffy's out as well, who's out the last year,
So yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Hopefully plenty of improving to be done. I'm not sure
when the next tear startup might be maybe Friday, but
will keep you updated on that because we've got no idea.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
At all, but of rugby action of course over the
weekend too. Finals time. How about this foulers you were
you were talking about this last week, how the final
system in rugby and Super rugby is just stupid. Let
me get me. Can I give you a stat Auckland
of the Blues have lost their last four matches and
are still in contention.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 2 (16:31):
It's just I mean, what's going on there?

Speaker 9 (16:33):
Ah?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
But they were who played who? Let me think?

Speaker 3 (16:36):
So the Hurricanes the huge scores, huge scores, yes, sixty
six twelve over the Brumby. So the Hurricanes still the
team to beat Crusader's fifty two to thirty one over
the Blues, Yes, hiding and the Chiefs beat the Reds
forty six to twenty four. And as a result, we've
got New Zealand Derby's both Friday and Saturday this coming weekend, Chiefs,
Crusaders and Hurricanes Blues.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
So it's exciting, yes, because.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
This weekend is going to be great, But you're right
when you lose that we again in a row at
his business end of the season, they're trying to drag
it out and.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
You feel like you're involved in a competition where TV
rights are the only thing they care about.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yes, I agree.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
Some other big stuff happened over the weekend, feel as
Alexander Zverev won the finally won and Open, the French
Open right which and Liam Lawson today had his best
ever finished and the Monica Grand Prix he finished fifth.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
Firth is best his best ever equal he finished fifth
before just on the Test matches a second Test England
versus the Black cancel. But at the next one I'll
be at the Oval not until June seventeenth, so nine
days away.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah, good stuff. So the All Whites played England, which
I had no idea about. In the soccer last one nil,
which seemed to me.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Last one Neil Hurricane scored going into the half time
break and then England put out an entirely different team
for the second half, remained at one nil, better than
losing four mill a couple of days before to Haiti.

Speaker 6 (17:58):
I think it was.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
Hey, fella's good sports chat man.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Here's the White Strike.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Holdarky Beis He's there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
this Monday afternoon. The time is eleven minutes to five o'clock.
Let's talk TV.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
Hi, guys, guys, Hi, Mike.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Hello.

Speaker 6 (18:33):
Hello.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
I finished off the second season of The Chestnut Man. Oh, yes,
the Chestnut Man. They call him Key. He's a mad bastar.
I don't like that name, the Chestnut Man hyphen I
know it would be colon hide and Seek. So the
Chestnut Man is the name of I'm going to say Danish,
I don't know, there's somewhere over there, and it's the

(18:56):
name of a nursery rhyme that they've got, and so
this Chestnut Man would sing this song or do this.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
Rhyme, and then they got some pretty grim nursing rhymes
over there.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
They do, yeah, particularly grim. And so the first season
was really good. This one is the same, different storyline,
different kind of psycho. Six episodes. I really enjoyed it.
I think it's great. Three point seventy five buzzies out
of a possible five. The storyline is that somebody who's
going around killing Bee. I love that, and these police

(19:28):
officers who love each other have to find out who's
doing it.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
I love the sound of that.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Do they love each other or they sexually attracted to
each other?

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Well, look, in the first season they got together, but
when we picked things up in this season at the
end of the first season, they were together. When we
pick it up, they've broken up. He just walked out
for no reason. She didn't know what the issue was.
But he's back in her life, and you can't deny
the electricity. And her daughter had a real affection for him,
so it really hurt her and she's glad to have
him back.

Speaker 6 (19:58):
But there's some demons there, Jason.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
You might know what they are. And he's a complicated man.
I'll say that for him. He's not an alcoholic, but
he does have some issues. Three point seventy five buzzes
out of a possible five that's available there on your Netflix.

Speaker 6 (20:10):
Definitely worth a watch.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
In terms of viewing Fellers, I've just got a very
quick question because I watched bits and pieces throughout the weekend.
But on the old Instagram there, you know, on the
reels and so forth, are you guys now getting a
message saying time to stop scrolling, give yourself a break? No, No,
I've never had those before, and I'm like, you follow

(20:32):
a message in your game, suddenly getting this message, and
because I don't actually scroll.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
That much, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
I cannot find to find out what this actually is.
It feels like an ad. I feel like brick or
something like that. There's one of these ads for something
or other.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
That'll be I reckon he's accidentally paid for a weird
version of Instagram. Yeah that you pay you as you
scroll or something.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
But it says that right, But then it won't let
me scroll anymore. I can't scroll anymore.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Like a thing on your phone that limits screen activity.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Okay, good stuff.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Over the weekend, my wife and I sat down and
watched the nineteen ninety five block blockbuster Did you sit
down and watch it? A Polo thirteen? A Polo A
Polo thirteen? Tom Hanks, Ron Howard. We watched it because
obviously A Beautiful Mind was so good yeah that we
were like, let's watch another Ron Howard based on a
true story situation. The issue with A Polo thirteen is

(21:25):
it's a lot of guys in a confined space and
then guys in a control yeah, and people talking about stuff. Yeah,
like yeah, it's hard to explain. But a lot of
the movie is people dropping facts and explaining science y
rocket stuff because it's about a space flight that goes wrong.
Whereas yeah, a good film, good film, however, someone just

(21:47):
text her here at lacks atmosphere on three four eight
three is good stuff. There is a massive spoiler at
the start because I am not aware of how a
Polo thirteen finishes. I'm not sure if that's the one
with the people pair wished or with that save, et cetera.
At the very start there is a spoiler and it
says based on the novel written by Jim Lovell, who

(22:08):
is the main character. I was like, okay, so he
lives then, yeah, oh it was okay, it was pretty good.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
I found it boring.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
It is a bit boring, to be honest. We had
to pause it about three or four times to go
and like make and yeah, you know, my love and
that I'll give it like three point three.

Speaker 6 (22:25):
Busy and all that sort of stuff. But it's just
I just, yeah, just boring.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
It's no, it's no chestnut Man.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Yeah, yeah, it's no Instagram.

Speaker 6 (22:35):
Yeah, there's no Pugs in a bread.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
It's Queens of the Stone Age.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I can welcome back your messive backbones. I hope you
survived your Monday. Okay, you're listening to the Big Show
brought to you by Rebig Year And.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
A reminder, Reburger provides handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gormet
eats that will change the game.

Speaker 9 (23:03):
Winner of the.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Nice praying worthy I am fresh from street food goes
to pray big.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
They certainly deserve it, fells well earned the only ones
in the category as far as I'm concerned.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Yea, you don't mention that though, totally in all honesty,
and I'll talk about it a little bit later on
the show. I wish I had Reburger this last weekend,
but I didn't, and I'm I'm kicking myself, kicking myself.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
I had another Masa, didn't you.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
I had an absolute maza on Friday night, which we'll
talk about later.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Another reminder I said this last week, but Reburger at
two thirty am, while still steamed is amazing. It's because
usually all you can get at that time. I didn't
realize Reburger was still open and awkward. Anyway you could,
you could Uber eats it. Yes, Usually all you can
get is all the you know, the junk food, whereas
reburger when you're esteemed is like the best thing you've

(24:10):
ever eaten.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
It's the best thing.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Even when you're not seen, even when you're sober, it's
even better.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Listen, very exciting news for Mogi. He's going to tell
us all about it next. But in the meantime, here's
the Killer The.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
Tune in on Radio Hodky.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Yes, indeed radio head there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
Show this Monday afternoon. The time is thirteen minutes past
five o'clock.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Play the sting. Geezy, I don't have it man, Oh
for good, I'm sorry everyone. We talked about this for hours.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Oh here it is Fellers.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
I've got a bit of a conundrum and I just
want to run it past you and also the listeners
out there.

Speaker 6 (24:49):
Let's know what you think. On three four eight three.
That's a text number.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
The keys actually it's a text number and every text
at the end of the show, put them all together.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
Million dollars. Was gonna say Reburger out. Oh yeah, even
better than yeah yeah man.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
So fellas we've been running this competition with Street Dog,
we gave away a couple of these electric bikes motorbikes,
one to the South Island chapter, one to the North
Island chapter. And when I was looking at these things,
I was thinking, she's old of mine one of these, man, Yeah,
they're pretty cool of mine, one of these, man. So
I went and had a geeze over the weekend, took
one out for a test ride with my six year

(25:23):
old daughter on the back there, and it was good fun.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Man. I'm keen, I'm keen, real keen.

Speaker 6 (25:32):
The trouble is what sort of happened is that.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
At sort of the same time, my mother, oh Marge,
is moving into a rest home. So essentially what it
means as well, retirement village. I better be careful, yes,
retirement village, and so that means downsizing. So she's gifting
me a whole lot of stuff that would otherwise have
gone into the dump, one of which is an electrical bicycle.

Speaker 5 (25:57):
Well, wouldn't it be massive because your mum's really tall?

Speaker 4 (25:59):
It's really tall. Yeah yeah, but it can be resized
for me. It's turned up. It turned up literally today
with all of this other stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Oh so she just sent it all to you.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
Yes, wow, yeah, said it all through And it's this
push bike. It's a step through, you know what I'm saying.
You know what that is, Jason. That's where they don't
have the bar at the top. Now it used to
be called a man's but you know I've had a
bar at the top. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So it's
called a step through now?

Speaker 5 (26:27):
Is that for women who wear long dresses sort of
things so they can just step well?

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Side said, oh yeah, I don't know. So, I don't
know why that is. I don't know why they have that,
but yeah, to step through. But it certainly works for Marge,
who's you know, getting on in life, so she wouldn't
be able to swing a leg like she used to
do in the old days.

Speaker 6 (26:41):
Yeah, jeez, boy, did she.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
Swing a leg your mum?

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Anyway, where we're sort of at now, is I really
want this really fancy, cool looking thing and my wife
is going to say to me, well, you've already got
this one and it's free. Why would we even consider
buying something that's expensive like this other thing?

Speaker 6 (27:00):
It's not free?

Speaker 4 (27:02):
And I guess what I would quite like, as a
man that's, you know, fast approaching his fiftieth birthday, is
to not have to commute on something that's an absolute humiliator.
So what I've sort of been dealing with is I've
been walking to work, which is fine, but I've also
been using the Line or the Flamingo. I prefer the

(27:22):
Flamingo because it's New Zealand owned and operator. But a
fifty year old man on a Flamingo scooter going at yeah,
not an actual Flamingo. Yeah, you're right, a Flamingo scooter.
If I was on an actual Flamingo, that'd.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Be a Flamingo into work.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
But they go at about six g's an hour.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
And when you're doing that in Russia, everybody's around and
it's just embarrassing.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
Yeah, whereas you're used to looking cool as arriving in
the teeter.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Oh so that's another thing. You know, people think that
that's punishing. So here I am my whole life and finally,
what about something for me? My wife's fine, she's got
this really cool electric yes, but what about me?

Speaker 3 (28:02):
So are you telling me that you're approaching fifty and
you're getting a motorbike yeah, yeah, but it's either that.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
But I mean, really, what's the difference between that and
this electric pushbike? You know, I'm just as close to
death one or the other.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
By the way, the reason that they have step through bikes,
and this is maybe why your mother had it effortless mounting.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
Oh if it is mounting, Yeah, yeah, she loves that.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I couldn't help but feel when you were describing that,
it sort of sounds perfect for me.

Speaker 6 (28:30):
What the step through?

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Yeah, I agree, you know what I mean? I agree
it has a basket on the front.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Dad does.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
Can you imagine me in the basket with a towel
over his head.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Cruising around the CBD and your little step.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
Through and Mogi's riding and put the trying to get
away from the police. That's great.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Yeah. So anyway, there's going to be an ongoing argument,
but it sort of feels like I might risk standing
my ground on this one.

Speaker 6 (28:58):
Okay, tell all my chances.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
Electric motorbike or electric bicycle? Which one should Mogi get?

Speaker 6 (29:05):
Three?

Speaker 5 (29:06):
Four eight three.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
In the meantime, here's system of a down the Hurdarchy
Big show weekdays from four on Radio hod Ichu is
indeed sublime.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
There on the radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon
the time five twenty.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Three, fellas, I had a strange encounter of the Hoidi Jabra,
bless you, Jace, you're good man.

Speaker 6 (29:27):
Yeah, checking on a chip.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
No, it's got a bit of a burn going on.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
You've also got chips on your hoodie. But anyway, our fellows,
I had a strange encounter of the Hoidy j kind.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
Today strange encounters of the hoy.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
Now, for those of you that don't know, Jace lives
in the city and you spend a lot of time
walking around the city, Jase and you, interesting characters seem
to gravitate towards you.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yes, very often.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
But can I say that it's not because he lives
in the CBD. This has been happening since time began. Yes, yeah,
a lot.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
And the case in point was a few years ago.
We were in Wellington and an interesting character was walking past.
All four of us from the Big Show, including Pugs.
Looked at Pugs, looked at Moggie, looked at me, and
then zeroed in on Jace. Walked over to Jase. He
had a little trolley with him and he said to
Jace and the world keeps turning a mate, and then
you said yeah mate, yeah, mate, And then we were like,

(30:24):
why did he choose you? Anyway, this is what happened
to me today. It was a very hoidy j moment.
Driving from out west in Auckland. You come off the
motorway to a set of traffic lights that go down
into town, down towards the Hooducky office, and there's always
someone there washing windows or asking for money and stuff.

Speaker 5 (30:43):
Yes, And in fact, I keep a little thing full
of two dollar coins in my car and gravel you
see it, and gravel, And I used the two dollar
coins at the vending machine, and I used the gravel
to give to them. You're right, Mogi.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Today I was in my truckie and the window was
down and it was an older woman holding a sign.
It said any spear change. I didn't have it because
I wasn't in my car that usually has the gravel
in it. So she came around to the window that
I was driving at because it's on the other side,
and she just goes, what is this saying? She turned
her sign around and on the back it had the
word time written there, and I was like, time, do

(31:18):
you want to know the time. And then she just said, no,
your time has come. She said, I know what you
did the other day down by the trees over there. Yeah,
and just so you know, everyone knows about it. Yeah,
and you're going to get an absolute hiding suit. So
just the thing, you know, man, And like I was like, oh, yeah,
it's good to know though.

Speaker 9 (31:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
And then I said, oh, you sure have got me
confused with Hoidy J. And then she said, oh.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
Yeah, because that's a classic Cordy J.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Very much so. And it's a you get you get
to understand these things when you're on the street all
the time. Keezy right, yeah, sort of upper and lower side.
It's a term of affection when they come up to
and they say, you know, blah blah blah, we're going
to smack you in the head.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
You go high five man.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Funnily enough, going home on Friday night, do what passed me?
And I think he was a homeless guy and he
he said something to me and I didn't quite catch it.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
And that is the mistake he always makes.

Speaker 6 (32:28):
Yeah, I'm walking on.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
I carried on walking about another meter or two and
ten round and he was infing and jeffinite me, and I.

Speaker 8 (32:38):
Was like, oh, sorry, man, what did you say? And
he said, bro, I went to first pump. I see
you every day. I went to first pump and you
didn't first pump me.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
And I went sorry, brother, and I gave him a
bit of a first pump and then he smacked me
in the head.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
First pump, yeah you know he yeah, first bump.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
No a first pump.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Yeah, No, that's Joe's that's a that's a first bump first.
Do you know why? Because you bump your first?

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Because did he pump you with his first?

Speaker 6 (33:14):
Because that's not good.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
tune in week days.

Speaker 5 (33:21):

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Yeah, they're going to the Grand Final in Sydney. Feelers.
It's a it's a it's another Export Ultra Beer Garden tour.
And to speak to me about it, are they supposed to?

Speaker 2 (33:45):

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Jerry, Maniah and acc here g Lane.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
They've done a few beer garden tours so far Paris, Munich,
Texas and now Sydney going pretty good, yeah, man, Whereas
if you look at us, it sort of goes magic ground,
magic ground, magic.

Speaker 5 (34:01):
Ground, Haka Hokatuka, Wellington.

Speaker 6 (34:05):
We went to That was cool. Fiji, that was excellent.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Yeah. No, we can't campaign, but that feels like they've
got a bit of deal going on there. But anyway,
an opportunity for you to go on the draw for that.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
That's right. People might be wondering what do we get.
I'll tell you what you get.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Three nights in Sydney, five star hotel, return flights, races,
the day before, a harbor cruise and the Grand Final experience.
Of course, these guys know the rules, know the routine,
know how to go deep, big days, bigger nights, legendary stories.
That's what's written there. Really that sounds awesome, man, who's keen?
Should we go to the lines?

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (34:38):
Do it?

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Man? Get a Luke, you're mayor Barson. How's life?

Speaker 6 (34:42):

the fellows. How's your weekend? Luke?

Speaker 6 (34:51):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Yeah, pretty dusty today, mate?

Speaker 6 (34:54):
But rough, isn't it when you're rolling to Monday and yeah,
and you're not really feeling.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
It to be honest with you, man, what we're looking
for are the kind of people that can ruin the
holiday for the A c C and the breakfast boys.

Speaker 6 (35:05):
Is that something you think you can do?

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Man, get absolutely steamed and then just punish them for
hours with tales of your conquest over the years.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Oh that sounds right up, my yeah, yeah, that's it
sounds perfect.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Ye're but we're not looking for them to have a
good time.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Look, We're looking for you to have a good time
and them to have a bad time, all right, So
just keep that in mind, all right, you're in the drawer.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Can I get mate? Get a Patrick in a ad
barsid house life?

Speaker 8 (35:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Good yourself? Yeah yeah, thanks mate? Tell me Patrick? Just
like could you tune listen too? A Nightmare for the
A c C? Here g Lane and and Jerry and Miniah.
Oh yeah, definitely give it a good nudge.

Speaker 6 (35:45):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
Cool, we're gonna need you to, are you okay?

Speaker 3 (35:47):
To responsibly just get steamed way too early and just
sort of punish them the whole time.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
Yeah, definitely okay though, but for the rest of them.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
Yeah yeah, okay, could you be like ultra serious I'm
and final day and just sit as to them and
yet if you could do that, Patrick, actually that would
be good starting fights with people.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely give it a go.

Speaker 6 (36:08):
Could you for the.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Grand Final day, Patrick, could you while they're watching the game,
just go back and forth constantly buying beers so that
the guys don't actually get to see the game.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
Yeah, defends, Yeah, that commentates the game the whole time,
which is also equally Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
That'd be perfect, actually, Patrick, all right, I like the
sound of you mate, you're are You're in the drawer, right,
you hold the line.

Speaker 6 (36:34):
Cheers, good on your maker.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
We don't we don't want a couple of great winners.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
We want a couple of people to get in there
and just make it as miserable as possible.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
We want after like the first day, the fellas going,
what have we done?

Speaker 4 (36:45):
That's right, that's right. They think they're going to weigh
for a huge, fantastic time and event, but against ruined.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
If if the Worriers make the Grand Final, Keys, will
you be there? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
It's it's one of those thing where I don't even
want I don't even want to think about if they're
going to be there or not, you know, what I mean.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
Yeah, but I guess yeah, they won't be don't worry
about it, Mogi, You'll be there.

Speaker 6 (37:07):
I'll be there.

Speaker 5 (37:07):
You'll be there with Will Yeah, absolutely potentially, I probably.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
Will be there.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, same, the same, You're right, same.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Listen out for your cue to call once again. If
you hear it again, oh eight hundred, Hoda can get
yourself in the draw.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
In the meantime, he's a better rage against the machine.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.

don't even want worry about it. Man, it's twenty twenty six,
two years away too.

Speaker 6 (38:04):
Like me, we've already lost the World Cup.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Are you still in the horror of the mood about
your uber eats on Friday and a little bit. What's
for Teenay night failers?

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Great question, I don't know, but better be good. You
know what I need in my life is someone like say,
what do you ja to come around and say, look,
I'll take care of it, Bay, leave it with me,
and then I can have nothing turn up for two
hours and then go and get something that really lets
me down.

Speaker 6 (38:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
Yeah, oh good time.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
But I don't know what it is, but yeah, I
hope it's good man. I am. I do need a
good fee tonight.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Yeah, I'm having Big Ears yup homemade. Yes, you love this?
Actually smash Big Years.

Speaker 5 (38:45):
Are you going to smash them?

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (38:47):
From the supermarket? Yes, yeah, okay they're pretty good. Yeah,
a proper smash.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
But I was actually disgusted when I saw the packet
you bought Smash Big Ears.

Speaker 6 (38:56):
Yeah, what have you become?

Speaker 9 (38:58):
Men?

Speaker 2 (39:00):
It's all falling apart? Can I just say on the
other side of my tobacco? On Friday night, found some
amazing food joints over the weekend in the town so.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
They called Reburger.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
No they were not.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
Butterfly Chicken.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
Again with third Butterfly Chicken, I worry for the butterfly
chickens that live around your joint.

Speaker 6 (39:23):
They're can smash slaughtered.

Speaker 5 (39:26):
Is that a breed of chicken?

Speaker 6 (39:27):
It's a breed of chicken, a butterfly chicken.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
Yeah, wow, I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
I thought it was because that sort of butterflied when
they prepared, they sort of slipped from.

Speaker 6 (39:36):
Yeah to mouth or whatever.

Speaker 5 (39:41):
But yeah, I love a butterfly chicken.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Having another butterfly chicken, which, let to be honest, it's
the same as any other kind of chicken.

Speaker 6 (39:47):
Yeah. Yeah, Why are you so obstansd with a butterfly chicken?
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
My wife's just really into them at the moment, so
I'm right. Is it marinated garlic and something glican thyme?
It's great because the next day you can make chicken sami.

Speaker 6 (40:02):
Oh of course she can.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Y Yeah, I usually make a chicken soup out of it.
But I hear what you're saying, what.

Speaker 6 (40:07):
Do you have with the butterfly chicken? You're not just
having that on its own.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
My wife will make a delicious salad. I think she's
making like a pumpkin and no like rockets, no bit
of like yogurty stuff. And there's some other stuff, and
there is like cranberries and start there.

Speaker 6 (40:27):
It's all.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
It's delicious.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Actually, just on that on cranberries. My wife made a
delicious chocolate slice the other day, but she ruined it
by putting cranberries in. It ruined it.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
So you stopped talking her for three days.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, I packed another sandwich and bean, I've had enough.
Here's Arctic monkeys.

Speaker 5 (40:49):
You guys got such a healthy relationship.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
The Darky Big Show week days from four on Radio
Cool Jam.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
There on the Radio Hodaki Big Show this Monday evening.
The time is thirteen minutes past six o'clock.

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Fi Fellers. God, I've got a bone to pick, man, Yeah,
I got a bone to pick.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
So cool, Jason, is it food related? Nah?

Speaker 4 (41:14):
Are you saying you've got a bone to pick or
you've got a boner pick? Because I would love it
to be the ladder?

Speaker 5 (41:20):
Is it's the ladder.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
I've got a bona pick and it's it's in my
albums and I don't know whether I should delete it
or archive it.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
Will send it to me, we'll make it. We'll make
a call on it.

Speaker 6 (41:31):
Okay. Cool.

Speaker 5 (41:32):
Actually, now that we've dealt with that, boner pick, I've
got a bone to pick. I got a bone a
pick does sound like that.

Speaker 3 (41:42):
So we're in the process of buying a new house
right and that involves us going to approximately one billion
open homes every single weekend, which begins it's like it's.

Speaker 5 (41:52):
Exciting to begin with and then quickly becomes punishing.

Speaker 6 (41:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
One thing I've noticed is the difference in real estate
agents right now. There are quite a few real estate
agents out west where we are who are really lovely,
really bubbly, really chatty, really nice, really positive experiences. Whenever
we see them, we go, oh, it's blah blahs listening.
That's great, go see them.

Speaker 5 (42:13):
They're always really good. I've noticed whenever you.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Come into the city and the sort of you know,
the fancier suburbs, we're going to get way less for
our money. The renistered agents are massively blinged out. They
have like Gucci this, and you know what I mean.
They've got all the huge like designer brands on. That's

(42:37):
the word I was looking for. Definitely that word. But
they have everything from head to foot. It looks like
cost their outfit cost them ten thousand dollars. Their car
parked out front is worth two hundred thousand dollars. And
then you go into the open home and they literally
are the most cold people I've ever met in my life.

Speaker 6 (42:54):
Well, they can smell poor people, keezy, Is that what
it is? Yeah, they know a poor person when they
see one.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Their dress for success, man, they exude success. Yes, and
they ain't got time for you to come in, you know,
wearing your your hoodie that you bought.

Speaker 6 (43:12):
Over at Magic Round.

Speaker 5 (43:13):
I was wearing that hoodie.

Speaker 4 (43:15):
Yeah, right, Well, this guy goes straight to the bottom
of the list if it ends up being, you know,
everyone chucking in a bid because the neighborhood will be
few minutes them me coming in, yes, absolutely dragging down
the prices of the houses. Because what are you coming
in with? You're coming in with your trucky old truck,
pretty loud. Yeah, that's right, your shipbox motorbike that starts

(43:38):
one and ten times. You see what I'm saying. Though,
you like you are, you're like the guys out of
the castle there. Yes, you're lovely, you're lovely people your backbones,
but you're better off living out by the airport.

Speaker 10 (43:53):
What it is tire kicker written all over here, and
there's there's the waft of Yeah, poverty, poverty in west Auckland.

Speaker 6 (44:04):
Do you find that they follow you around?

Speaker 4 (44:06):
Because if I was a real estate agent and you
guys turned up, I'd be terrified that you would be
thieving things, you know, the silverware, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Take it going through draws.

Speaker 5 (44:16):
Yeah, the silverwaars what I go for.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
Yeah, okay, maybe because I was just like, oh, you know,
all these really like because my thing was I'd prefer
a ridist agent who didn't have a two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars car pulling up, because to me, that's
just like arrogance.

Speaker 6 (44:31):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (44:31):
But I think they're not aiming to have you as
a client, to have people that are super super rich
who also drive the same sort of because what you're
attracted to is people that are like you.

Speaker 6 (44:43):
The ones that you like out West, I like you.
They're badly, they're friendly, they're nice.

Speaker 5 (44:46):
They're nice.

Speaker 6 (44:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
The ones that are in the city are trying to
attract people that are like them, right, and so you
want people that are cold, bit snobby but clearly successful.
I've got the three hundred thousand dollars car and all
the all the labels and all that sort of stuff,
so that you think, oh, this person's like me, or
listen to what they've got to say. Yeah, absolutely, but
you're right, yeah a holes.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
So I mean when I used to do that because
I came from out West, I know what you're going through, Keyzy,
and now I you know the city. Now I'm in
the city, they just flock. They're all over me.

Speaker 6 (45:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
So they called me cbd JS, so they're like anything
you want to know, CBDJ.

Speaker 5 (45:27):
So Big City Jays walked in.

Speaker 3 (45:28):
Yeah, who, by the way, wears the same hoodie every
day in a boys trip hat.

Speaker 5 (45:32):
They would give him the time of day.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Yeah, because I freak of success.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
The whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
Hold Aks, we'z are there on the radio Hodarchy Big
Show this Monday evening. The time is six twenty six.
And you were just talking about real estate agents, Keezy,
that sort of you don't like.

Speaker 5 (45:57):
Yeah, some day some of them I deeply dislike.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Yeah, because you know, they're a little bit cold and
their wealth and flaunt their wealth. I had a kind
of opposite kind of situation occure in the business front myself. Today,
I had to ring the bank. Fellas him rung a
a bank for a long long time. And the reason
that I had to ring the bank was because I

(46:21):
had an old account and what I needed was to
get the statements from that account, which no longer exists online.
It's gone because I closed it. But I needed the statements.

Speaker 6 (46:32):
I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
So I called the bank and this woman answered, and
I was like hello, started yeah, hello, and she said hello,
and you know, how can I help you? And so
we got talking and I don't know if you guys
know this, but a lot of people find my voice
pretty sexy. And it was just a vibe by God

(47:01):
that she kind of liked men. Oh wow, I sort
of cracking a few jokes and stuff, and.

Speaker 5 (47:10):
A few jokes in that when you say, like banking jokes.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
Yeah, they were financially orientated. Keasy.

Speaker 5 (47:16):
Now you've got my interest, Yeah, I'd like to make
a deposit.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
Yeah, and then withdrawal, Yeah, I've got your point decimal
point that is, anyway you want to see my what
ah my pen? Then things got really inappropriate and I

(47:49):
was like, whoa whoa forward match?

Speaker 6 (47:54):
A charm match?

Speaker 2 (47:57):
She said to me, can I have your phone number?

Speaker 5 (48:01):
And I was like, wow, she asked me your number?

Speaker 2 (48:06):
She asked for my phone number, and I.

Speaker 6 (48:07):
Was like, excuse me, can I ask you a question? Jay?

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (48:12):
Did you give it to her? Oh?

Speaker 5 (48:14):
Yeah, you gave me your number? Oh did you give
you your number?

Speaker 6 (48:22):
Then?

Speaker 2 (48:23):
Even more? I just move on even more forward than that,
and I said, you know, I was like flastered.

Speaker 5 (48:29):
I was like, oh, oh, did you at any point
say you were married?

Speaker 9 (48:34):
Well?

Speaker 2 (48:35):
I didn't feel like I had to at this point,
but this is what I was going to get to that.
She said, can I just have your address?

Speaker 5 (48:42):
And I was like, oh, okay, like she wants to
come around.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
Wow? Yeah, And I said I guess so, but I
should let you know I'm married. And she was like,
oh it's your wife blah blah blah blah blah. And
I was like that's right, and she was like okay,
and then she I was like, can I get you
your email?

Speaker 6 (49:02):
I'm going to send you something?

Speaker 5 (49:04):
Did you say that like that?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Yeah? She said, can I get your email? I want
to send you something, A little something.

Speaker 6 (49:12):
It was quite a big something.

Speaker 2 (49:15):
And I was like, oh, I don't know if I
can sort of download photos or anything like that on
my email.

Speaker 5 (49:23):
I hope you didn't say that, because that was the
most boomer statement I've ever heard.

Speaker 6 (49:27):
You can, it's the best place to do it.

Speaker 5 (49:31):
Don't tell photos of my email what.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Anyway, the good news was, fellas, I got all the
stuff I needed and I'm meeting her at.

Speaker 5 (49:45):
Exist A good stuff for you.

Speaker 1 (49:55):
It's top pity for the whole Ikey Big Show weekdays
from four on Radio Hodarchy, Lincoln Park.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday evening.
The time is six thirty eight.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
Hey, fellas, Just a quick reminder Thursday June twenty fifth,

Speaker 2 (50:25):

Speaker 6 (50:29):
Yeah, ye sixty nine.

Speaker 5 (50:35):
At gmail dot com get in touch with the fellas.
Please do get in touch for fellows.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
Really email address if you need advice on anything, and
it features on the show Boom. It's one hundred percent
anonymous and you get a prize. That's what comes from
anonymous fellas. Yeah, good, ay there, excuse me, good there.
I need some advice. My partner and I are sta
with her parents after a stint abroad whilst we get sorted.
They've been great, no rent, no bills, and they've got

(51:08):
a real flash pad. They've been extra helpful since I've
started my own business, and they think I'm broke. Little
do they know I've been raking it in these first
few months. The question is do I keep bludging off
them until we move out? Or do I reveal my hand?

Speaker 5 (51:24):
Jess Anonymous, what.

Speaker 6 (51:36):
Have you got the adjacent any thoughts? Because I got thoughts.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
It's an interesting one, isn't it. Do you bleed them
dry for as much as you can?

Speaker 9 (51:46):
Well?

Speaker 2 (51:46):
Do you want some respect in your life?

Speaker 6 (51:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (51:50):
You know what I mean? Or do you want them
to continuously look at you like you're a massive loser,
which is like my wife's parents did with me.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
For nigh on twenty years. Longer than that, nigh on
twenty five years. Of course, John, you started paying for
dinners when we were on the show. That's true, that's true.

Speaker 5 (52:11):
Did you ever did you have a bludge off.

Speaker 6 (52:14):
Them, yes, yes, yeah, twenty five years.

Speaker 5 (52:18):
So you're saying it's a good idea to bludge off them, yeah, yes, Okay.

Speaker 4 (52:27):
It's not so much about them looking at you as
you're looking at yourself in the mirror, tempting, I know,
to get free rent. But if you're killing it and
you can contribute, you should be contributing. I've got I
know people that have done this. This is quite close
to my heart, this thing here.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
Yeah, right, and.

Speaker 4 (52:47):
Yeah, I think it's the lowest of the low to
be completely honest when you're not you jas You're different
because you were a struggling artist with you you didn't
contribute because you couldn't contribute, thank you. You had four
daughters and no real prospects, no real work, no real work,
no talent, et cetera, et cetera. It's completely different too,

(53:12):
as this guy is having heaps of money and choosing
to keep it quiet.

Speaker 5 (53:15):
And just coming back from a big stint overseas, so
he had money to go money.

Speaker 6 (53:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (53:23):
Yeah, I mean, if I was the parents, I'd be
trying they obviously don't know, but I'd be trying to
break this up. This is that year you don't need
This is a son in law law, isn't it.

Speaker 6 (53:34):
So Yeah, it's tricky.

Speaker 3 (53:35):
I mean, I think what you're saying is he should
not only show his hand, he should also, out of respect,
leave the daughter.

Speaker 5 (53:43):
Leave the daughter and do that family of fame.

Speaker 6 (53:46):
That just walk into the ocean.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
I mean, it's it's it's one of those things where
it's one thing that they're showing you. What they're doing
is they're showing you the They don't want you there.
Let's be clear, they don't want you there, but they're
showing you a because you're with your daughter. So they've
been so generous to give you their space to take
up time after the daughter has already left their house

(54:09):
that they could be spinning together and join each other's company.
So the least you can do is contribute as much
money as possible to ensure that they think you're a
stand up person.

Speaker 5 (54:21):
Yeah, but I think it's past that now.

Speaker 3 (54:23):
And now the other option is to leave the daughter,
leave the daughter, do that family a favor.

Speaker 5 (54:27):
I think so, and just never speak to me.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
Maybe some kind of a retreat. You need to go
on some kind of retreat and find yourself.

Speaker 5 (54:34):
Yeah, probably overseas somewhere with all that money.

Speaker 6 (54:36):
Oh Bali, Yeah yeah, Bali would be nice backbones over there.

Speaker 5 (54:40):
Thailand, Yeah, Thailand, sure, Vietnam, Vietnam.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
Now we can live for ages over there with very little.

Speaker 3 (54:49):
Hey, if you need advice, slash to be ripped out
on the radio, me patting at sixty nine at gmail
dot com and you'll get a prize just like Anonymous.

Speaker 6 (54:57):
It's worth it.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
The whole Roky Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Haraki.

Speaker 2 (55:08):
Well, there you go, your mayor bases. That's a big
show down and dusted for your Monday evening. Hey, Keysy, Hello,
what's the podcast outro? Clip?

Speaker 5 (55:16):
Good question?

Speaker 6 (55:17):
Jase.

Speaker 3 (55:17):
Today's podcast outro, which comes out at seven thirty, is
entitled Crying over Burnt Milk.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Now she doesn't like it too hot, my wife, so
she's not like mine.

Speaker 5 (55:29):
But you were obviously burning it though.

Speaker 6 (55:30):
You were going to.

Speaker 2 (55:33):
I will clarify I never burnt milk. Here is a
sitting team. Here's a sitting you.

Speaker 6 (55:42):
She's calling you.

Speaker 3 (55:43):
Bernie Ah, Bernie Week at Bernie Yes are out week.

Speaker 11 (55:48):
At Bernie's where he doesn't say anything, Bernie Sanders that
you're a human Jerz old Bernie fuming about the burnt
milk situation.

Speaker 5 (56:02):
So you burnt some milk? Who can?

Speaker 6 (56:04):
Who cares?

Speaker 4 (56:04):
Megones, Bogones's no use crying.

Speaker 6 (56:07):
All I would do is just stop talking and wrap
the show up.

Speaker 5 (56:11):
Yeah, silent treatment.

Speaker 2 (56:13):
If you could, Magie, what are your plans to up?

Speaker 6 (56:18):
I'll go home. I've got a new couch in the house,
nice new couch.

Speaker 5 (56:25):
Couch.

Speaker 4 (56:25):
It is a nice couch now it's not now. It's
come from March, my mum. So we had two matching couches,
but they're very narrow. They're very narrow, and I don't
like them. They face each other. It's one of those
things where it's good for people who come over, but
nobody ever comes over.

Speaker 6 (56:39):
So what are we doing? Yes, so I got a
new match.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Wider couch, which is good for two people to be
able to lie on if you need a new kid.
But now it means there's different couches in there. So
I set it all up at home, and when I
go home, I'm going to find out what my wife
thinks about it proves right, and that's going to have
a major effect on how the rest of my evening.

Speaker 2 (57:00):
Yeah, okay, I'm hearing your keezy a fly chicken.

Speaker 5 (57:03):
Butterfly chicken.

Speaker 3 (57:05):
Probably watch some some sort of TV show with my wife.
Actually I'm hosting. I take over as the host of
Game of two Halves from tomorrow onwards.

Speaker 6 (57:14):
Yeah, so in an early night, man.

Speaker 5 (57:16):
Yeah, I've got I've got to go over the scripts
and stuff.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
So I just say no beers for you, man, because
I'm worried about you know, certainly a bit nasy. A
beers last night, Jose five five beers last night, and
now look what's the next.

Speaker 5 (57:30):
I always get a running nose.

Speaker 6 (57:31):
It's just what happens.

Speaker 5 (57:32):
It's really annoying. I don't know what causes it. Maybe
I should have an anti histamy the next.

Speaker 6 (57:36):
How I don't know. Yeah, maybe that'll think it's annoying
for you.

Speaker 5 (57:40):
It is annoying, Jace. Yeskezy, what are you up to tonight?

Speaker 2 (57:43):
I'm going to go home and make my wife a
burnt coffee and.

Speaker 5 (57:49):
Have a smash burger, order some Uber eats it won't
show up if.

Speaker 2 (57:53):
And gff yeah, and flirt with a bank teller.

Speaker 5 (57:56):
Yeah boy, Hey, you see tomorrow at four.

Speaker 6 (58:00):
Okay, bye,
