There you go, and it's about a TV show that
got made back in the day and then it all
goes off the rails, the most tedious garbage you've ever seen.
(16:42):
They're not really really entertained. I mean, they're all terrible,
but this one didn't have anything interesting and I turned
off after about thirty five minutes of a forty five
minute docco and I give it zero busies the other
of a possible five. Can't recommend, can't recommend.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Yeah, there you go. Well for me. Over the weekend
because we had the wedding, of course, didn't actually get
to watch a lot. I did watch a rerun of
Game of Two Halves on the plane.

Have you really not?

one of the great scenes. My captain, my captain, Oh, captain,
my captain, Oh, captain, my captain. Yes, getting up on
the desk there and defiance And it's really a story
about this like scene, isn't it. Yeah. An inspirational teacher
(18:25):
who changes things for the kids.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
It was kind of like what Jace was. Yeah, and
when he started out and did that teaching for two
weeks and they said to him, why do you wear
such weird pants?
Speaker 7 (18:35):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (18:35):
Yeah, true they were.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
Weird pants, to be fair, Paisley, No, they were cream
Oh with your boots with like a wool weave.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Were Look, you've got to give it four point five busies. Wow,
it's a great film. It is a classic.
Speaker 5 (18:54):
I've heard a lot about it. Over the week of
my wife and I were like, shall we just sell
up everything and just go overseas for a year traveling NonStop?
I hear, you know, don't get a job and then
just come back and start again.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
I hear it.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
And so we started watching YouTube videos of people that
have done it, and basically all of them were like, yeah,
it's pretty you run out of money pretty quick.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
Yeah, no cash.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
And then we came back and we had to start again.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
It sucked.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
Then I was overseas and my dad died while I
was there. That was really tough. Yeah, And we were
just watching We're like, ah, maybe next year.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Well, it's funny because I told you fellas a little
while back that on my YouTube. Now I'm getting in
undated with retiring early videos. You know, people are just going, oh, like,
you know, I'm fifty three, what am I doing?
Speaker 5 (19:39):
But you're thirty nine? Though your misd I know, But what.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
Am I doing with my life? I'most going to quit?
Speaker 5 (19:45):
But they must have money though, right, not often they don't.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
They don't have a lot of money, right, And I've
got to be a few eighty percent of the ones
that I watch. They're stoked, they're having a great old time.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
What do they But that's what you see on YouTube.
Speaker 4 (19:59):

Speaker 4 (20:06):
Yeah really, which you know, wasting the time of old
Hoidy j because you.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
Don't really use it.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
Well I don't need to, key No, I mean you're downstairs. Yeah, now,
my my downstairs doesn't need it.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
No, I'm saying you don't you use it? Don't Eve
worry about it.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
His the darkness, the whole aching Big Show with Jason,
Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Tune in week days at four on Radio.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Hold Ikey, welcome back to your missive bagbones. Hope you're
surviving your Monday. You're listening to the Big Show brought
to you by Rebururger.
Speaker 5 (20:41):
Serving good times and good food Dina or takeaway reb
good today.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Now fountless.
Speaker 5 (20:50):
Oh that's all right, you go Rebiger this weekend for
for forty j damn it too slow. Ah, you did
every booking. You seen a photo of you eating it.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
Yes, well I was outside the joint. But if you
don't believe me, I'm happy to ring my wife legit,
legit reb What's what's it called? Regent Read or something
I got? And fries?
Speaker 6 (21:19):
Of course the fries, which is making me doubt your
story even more.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
I'm so good.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
Can I just say the fact that you even have
we're at the point where you have to call your
wife to verify that you ate the sponsors product?
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Is I believe myself? It's just you guys that are
casting aspersions on old hod J.
Speaker 6 (21:39):
You know last night for dinner, I had rebooging. Really
it was the It was just the right amount. Unfortunately
my daughter doesn't. She's vegetarian, so there's nothing on the
A menu so all she could have was chip.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Yeah, but still that pretty good chips, bloody chip.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Saturday night, guess that I had pizza actually reab Oh? Well,
my wife and I went to the Henderson one there.
She loves a cheeseburger.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
That's all we got as well, just in a thanks
very match.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
I got a Regent Read No, actually I didn't. I
got one with pineapple in it, did you delicious? I
love pineapple and chicken.
Speaker 6 (22:16):
And a burger.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Ma, it's delicious chicken. Yeah, so you'd go a Hawaiian
burger happily?
Speaker 6 (22:23):
Sure, Yeah, is renowned for having a bit of pineapple. Yes,
however that's a beef burger.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
Usually a beef burger.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
Oh look, guys, to be honest, man, gun to my head,
Yeah sure, it's not my go to.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Literally, i'd have to put a gun to your head.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Yeah, you have to put a revolver in my head.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Okay, So yeah, buddy good. If you've never tried reburger,
give it a notch. It is genuinely fantastic. It's yummy. Hey,
now coming up very shortly. Indeed, it was a massive
weekend of sport, so I'm gonna have a bit of
sport chat in the meantime. It's some pill jam for you.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
The whole Key Big Show was Jason tune in.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
On Radio the Killers there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
This for Monday after noon. The time is sixteen minutes
past five o'clock. Let's talk rugby, Fellos.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
Crouch, touch Pause, Engage Rugby Union chat with Loidy Jade.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
And what a match Fellas the first of the season
for the new Look All Blacks under Dave Rennie an
absolutely spanking game of rugby.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
I loved it.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
France came to the party as well. Either side I
would have been like, okay, in the side winning because
they both deserve to win, but the All Blacks squeaking
ahead by two mogie. Yeah that's right.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
It was a hell of a game, wasn't it. What
I enjoyed about it mostly was you know, see a
first head out, but you just want to see the
kind of direction they're going to go in. The thing
that was a little bit frustrating over the last couple
of years was in particular the really crabbing offense where
people who have just been running straight across the park,
(24:10):
no straight lines, nobody seems to know what they were doing,
and it was massively frustrating because you know you've got
the you got the team, but they just seemed lost.
So that seems to be gone. But yeah, I really
enjoyed the game. Great stadium, great crew, had great French
were great, especially considering France's best team was playing in
the European Final or the equivalent of that over there.
(24:30):
So France and their vexis to their very best players.
Isn't that interesting.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
That's what that's what's great about this is that it
was taking on front first All Black game. It's the
Cars Stadium in christ Church when which was awesome first
day of any game, but the fact that a game
like this where traditionally you go the All Black should
spank them. It's just the French B team. But we
looked good but France still yeah, great, Well then it's
just going to be such an exciting few years of
Fudyoh it's.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
Brilliant and they had a few of their frontline players,
but yeah, what I was really struck by there were
a couple of tries at the French score and you
could see genuine in the All Black side. They were
completely baffled right right, they were just like what just happened? There?
Some brilliant play and the French just refused to die
in that game. You know. I kept thinking, Okay, now
(25:14):
we'll start to pull away from this from there. There
we do, ah, but not this time. They just kept
hanging in there and they're bloody unlucky not to win
in the end, but they performance from the All Blacks
as well.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
No, exactly right next week we've got eaterly all of
this of course was part of the Nation's Championship, which
I'd never heard of before in my life until the
game started. So that's with the sixteens from the Northern
hemisre sixteen from the Southern Hemisphere. We all sort of
play each other. Points re allocated. At the end of
two years, somebody has announced the world champion. That's great.
So New Zealand beat France thirty four to thirty two.
(25:45):
Japan beat Italy. This is over the weekend twenty seven ten.
Ireland and an absolute ripper of a game against Australia
one thirty three to thirty one. Wales beat Fiji thirty
nine twenty four, so they ever got smashed England forty
five twenty one and Scotland smoked. Well I'm not smoke
but they beat Argentina and Argentina yeah geez, that's no
(26:06):
mean feet. By the way, Islands a very good side.
I'm a little bit worried about the Aussies this year.
I think they're going to go good guns.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
But I, like you, I didn't know about this competition.
What's it called the Nations Nations cat.
Speaker 6 (26:19):
Essentially, what you're doing is the same thing that they
did with the World Teest Championship, and I think it's
great because you get all these games that they don't
mean anything. So at the start of the season you
get these friendlies where we host and then this case
it would have been France would play a couple of
games or whatever. Then at the end of the year
we go on a tour up to the Northern Hemisphere
and it doesn't mean anything. They're just sort of test
matches for the sake of test matches that these now
(26:41):
will count towards a bigger competition.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Which is great, very very exciting times. I like Ruben
Love at first five too, even though he had a
shocking start.
Speaker 5 (26:50):
Literally what I was about to say as my wife
and I sat down and I was explaining a few
of the changes and what made this quite interesting, and
they've started with Ruben Love, Bodie Barrett's not even in
the side and then he hit that shot and was
sent to the bin. Yeah, it was brilliant. And then
I was talking about like Ardie at number eight and
a few other things, and Jacobson being in the side
and he made all these air It was just drama.
But the tries that we did score were through magnificence
(27:12):
at the high skill plays. I love seeing that back.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
I'll tell you what. And in terms of Jacobson the
open side there, I wasn't a big fan of his
pre match, I said, I'm not sure about a selection.
He had a doozy of a game.
Speaker 6 (27:25):
Can I say I loved the almost complete lack of kicking.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Yes, it was great that pretends to kick. At one
stage Roygard had his foot out to do a box
kick the half back and then passed it instead. I
was like, yes, that's good shit.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
And just on that note, how good is Royguard? The
best in the world? I reckon best half back in
the world.
Speaker 5 (27:43):
Here's Gorillas a number one.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
The Darchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
hod Ikey.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Isn't he Bush there? On the Radio Hot Archy Big
Show this Monday evening. The time is five twenty nine
and feels something's been bugging me, Yes, bugging You're a call.
On Friday Felters, we were having a little discussion about
(28:10):
my boots. Yeah, no, I them yesterday.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
I know you love wearing them on the weekend. You
just concerns that they've dropped out of rotation during the way.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
We discussed funny it they're sort of turning into a
weekend shoe.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
I'm not surprised because that you're talking about. When I
brought the listener was like, Monday did not wear boots? Tuesday, no, Wednesday, no, Thursday,
no Friday night.
Speaker 6 (28:33):
Can you add for today Monday?
Speaker 5 (28:36):
No?
Speaker 4 (28:36):
No?
Speaker 6 (28:37):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Can you also add on the set day and Sunday?
Speaker 5 (28:40):
I don't do weekends.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
We can't believe what you say you did on the weekend, Jason. Now,
this is what is bugging me. What because we had
this discussion on Friday and then Keysy went no, no, no, you.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
Haven't worn them since I didn't.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
And then he pulled out a lesson and I saw
on his phone there he had this very elaborate list
of everything I'd worn in those days.
Speaker 5 (29:06):
Because I was checking this rotation of boots you were
talking about.
Speaker 4 (29:09):
And I suddenly thought to myself and over the weekend,
how many lists does Keysy have? A he got secret
folders going on? I've only got j I mean, what
what are you running here? Kesy? Have you got like
secret pics of me as well?
Speaker 5 (29:22):
No? I got no photos of you? Meno notes, I've
got seven They're all pretty chill, just everyday business. So
I've got hot pot last week Monday, no, Tuesday, no, Wednesday, yes,
Thursday no, Friday.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
No, I know Friday, yes, because PAGs an head hot
pot he did. Yeah, yeah, but I thought Jason was
having hot pot at the same time on the Friday.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
My concern here is that writing lists of what I'm doing.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
With one for when he wears the weird hoodie, this
black one he's wearing. I find it quite weird. Last
week it was every day, yes, yes, yes, yes, and
accurate vate breaks last week on Monday here at four
Tuesday seven.
Speaker 6 (30:02):
You're absolutely out of control at the moment. Wednesday about this.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Yeah, Thursday five eight breaks Friday seven. Our chips stolen
Monday years Tuesday nor Wednesday Thursday Friday years yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
No, keyesy, I haven't stolen chips for the mate.
Speaker 5 (30:19):
I'm just checking the stuff week. This one here, sexually
suggestive comments made to Hodaki staff Monday three, Tuesday zero, Yeah,
good day, it was good for you Wednesday one. But
then Thursday, Friday five six he wraps it up towards
the weekend.
Speaker 4 (30:34):
After Yeah, I think that's accurate.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
After that, wearing a hat Monday, yes. Yeah, Tuesday no,
Wednesday no, Thursday no, Friday no, and Monday, Monday, Monday
this week. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
I'm just I'm just a little bit worried, keazy that
you're getting a bit obsessed with me. Well, you know,
I'm getting real kind of stalk of vibes, right. You know,
the next thing I know, you'll be peering into my
apartment curtains, you know, taking little snapshots of Hoidy j
and his casual wear. I'd say, you know, next thing,
(31:12):
I know, I'm going to go down to the laundry
there and the apartment and Nickers are going to be missing.
Speaker 6 (31:17):
Do you come home and there'll be a bunny boiling, a.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
Bunny boiling on my souve? And it was funny because
when we did the you know, the big night out
with the Fellers, yes for my wife said to me afterwards,
she said, Jesus, do you see the way Keysy looks
at you? And I was like no, and she says, well,
it's kind of freaking me out a little bit. He
(31:40):
was just staring at you, and I'm just I'm just
a little bit you know, boiled bunny is probably what
I'm talking about here. You know a few like I'm
going to wake up one morning and there's going to
be Keysy at the end of my bed, you know,
with sh a knife, sharpening a knife.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
I'm just riding, Lisabelle, you're doing It's totally normal.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
We'll stop it, okay.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Iking.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
You read Hot Chili Peppers there on the Radio Hodarchy
Big Show this Monday afternoon. We've got some very special
guests in the studio with us. Let me get this right,
Brindley Stint could have us up the second season. I'll
be a hit show.
Speaker 5 (32:29):
Brendan Ko's Singles Club Singles Club.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Yes, I was going to do that, keys I just
felt like you weren't. I was totally going to do it.
How are you are? Your backbones really great? Thanks for
having it potentially pleasure now.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
The first season of Britain Ko Singles Club, it was
an interesting punt because it wasn't on TV, it wasn't
on Three, it wasn't on Sky and on. It was
on YouTube and co Lab. With the spin off, obviously
that was a bit of an experiment and it paid
off season two.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
People loved it.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Anyone could watch YouTube exactly.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
That's popular except.
Speaker 6 (33:03):
For Jason's wife, who doesn't even know that it's on
the It doesn't believe that it's on the I.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
Didn't believe me lunch today. She didn't believe me. I
said it's on YouTube, and she said, it's not on YouTube.
Just on YouTube. There's great stuff on there, isn't there.
Like I'm a big fan of mukbang. I just like
watching people eat massive vast quantities of food. Hell yeah,
which is weird because I don't actually generally, like in
(33:28):
real life watching people eat, But I'll watch it on
a video.
Speaker 5 (33:31):
What's that about, guys?
Speaker 6 (33:32):
Do you guys know about that.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
About?
Speaker 2 (33:37):
Yeah, you eat like huge amounts of food.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Lot of it is pretty.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Yeah, it's interesting. And there was a guy who got
like real toxic with it.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
You're talking about a very famoustub. Yeah, it's actually really bad, Jason.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
It's not inherently bad.
Speaker 5 (33:53):
But yeah, when you got because the show is made
with support, this show, you're all good.
Speaker 6 (34:00):
Well, we've got a segment on the show called What's
on the TV with Me Mike Minog where we all
talk about watching what we've watched on TV nice and
the first season of your show made it onto that
esteemed of the big show, and I think we gave
it four and a half busies out of a possible
five buzies. Season was absolutely magnificent. You guys traveling around
(34:24):
being yourself been obviously great mates, really fun, but then
also super honest conversations. I IF and loved it. Everybody
I introduced to it to if and loved it. So
is this one as good as that? Or is it
not good?
Speaker 4 (34:38):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (34:38):
Everyone was like, you're both in relationships now spoiler alerts.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
I think people that actually haven't seen the show, we
should establish the idea behind it was you guys trying
to find love. I suppose we're.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
Traveling around the country in a crew van trying to
do dating. Yeah, that was the original pitch. Not so
much anymore, right, just complaining.
Speaker 8 (35:01):
About some pretty awkward production meetings where we had to
fess up to our producer and director that we were
both in love and so we had to figure out
what season two looks like. But then we figured actually,
the reason people love season one so much is because
it is just me and Brent being crack up on
the road.
Speaker 5 (35:18):
So we were like, we can still do that. And
I would argue that, you know, just because.
Speaker 8 (35:23):
You're not single anymore, does it mean you don't still
have some problems.
Speaker 5 (35:27):
Is it still called singles club though?
Speaker 3 (35:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (35:30):
You have to have that connection. Don't you.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Feel like taking club doesn't have the same for.
Speaker 6 (35:35):
You guys on the road going around just cheating.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
You have to have one lover.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
I mean, you guys need to watch season two to
find out.
Speaker 5 (35:48):
And obviously you guys have now you guys now in love.
Is that as a result of season one or is
that just completely.
Speaker 6 (35:54):
Made some absolute weapons on the road?
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Yeah, and I wished them all well, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (36:00):
You remember the end of season one, I was pretty
depressed and so I really managed to just let it go.
I was like, you know what, I'm going to delete
the apps for a little while. I'm going to relax.
I'm going to stop identifying as single so much. And
then I did sort of chill out, and then I
put the apps back on a mit mafella, do you know?
Speaker 4 (36:19):
Weirdly, and I'm a big advocate of this, I honestly
believe that when you stop looking, you'll find yeah, genuinely.
Do you know I've got four daughters and you know
they're talking about boys and stuff, and it's like, just
stop looking, don't worry about it. He or she, well
(36:40):
come along.
Speaker 8 (36:42):
It's hard to hear that.
Speaker 6 (36:43):
When you.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
Listen, we'll go to another tune and we'll get deep
and meaningful.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Next show, absolutely the Hives.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Yeah I think so, The Hurgarchy Big Show week days
from four on Radio Hod.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
Hives on the Radio Holarcky Big Show this Monday evening.
And we've got the stars of the show, Brennan Coop
Singles Club season two. And it's interesting, isn't it because
the premise of the first show obviously you were single,
you were looking for love. The second the second season though,
has got a bit of a twist to it because
(37:19):
you're in love now.
Speaker 8 (37:20):
Yeah sorry told the single people.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
Yeah yeah, taken. Yeah, genuinely. How do you do it?
Speaker 6 (37:26):
Then?
Speaker 5 (37:26):
What's the idea?
Speaker 6 (37:27):
Because I feel ripped off. I've watched this and you
guys are a relationship only be few.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
Mean yes, well you're going to be fewman, You're going
to be both.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
The partners don't really make much of an appearance on
the show. We talk about them a bit, but yeah, yeah, yeah,
because I mean we didn't want to have to pay
them double wade.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
You know, you were saying that it's because there's not
much to look at with those guys.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
That I was shocked by that next that was shocking.
Speaker 6 (37:57):
You've you've actually turned your love life, and I imagine
both of you probably had. But I remember seeing you
could at opening for Nicki Glazer and you were talking
about some of your Tinder adventures.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
Yeah, she's had a few, and very.
Speaker 6 (38:07):
Brave of you to put that kind of personal embarrassment
and disgrace out there for my personal enjoyment. But I
loved it when it came to your new man. There's
a long line of frogs to get to this one. Yeah, frog,
and you're just like Bagger, I'll make do No.
Speaker 8 (38:23):
He's a total prince. And I tell you what the
bit you're referring to is. I used to do a
bit in my stand up where I sort of talked
about how I keep dating the guy that lives at
the back of the main house.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
I feel a lot of woman nodding alone with me
right now.
Speaker 8 (38:37):
The guy that lives at the back of the main house.
He only tells you, once you've already in the uber,
to not knock on the front door, but to go
pass the wheely bins down the back. Keep coming down
and there's a security light snaps, and you're sort of
hoping maybe he's just on the back porch chanting a
pinonois after a hard day at the office. But no, No,
you realize he lives in the garage.
Speaker 6 (38:59):
And never leaves the garage.
Speaker 5 (39:01):
He's been there for teen years.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
Strong smell of.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
You walk in there and there's like ten massive bongsmary.
Speaker 8 (39:08):
There's those beer crates made into a bookshelf class. It's
one of those faux mink blankets, a tiger on it.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
I feel like, Jose you were picturing you living like
this and loving it.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
No, I mean what you were describing for me was
west Auckland. Yeah, so that sounds very familiar to me.
Speaker 8 (39:29):
When I met my guy now, he said, just come
straight to the front door.
Speaker 5 (39:36):
And that's when she knew in the front door.
Speaker 6 (39:38):
And then he was living in the basement.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
The front door of a caravan. Still the front door,
just the front door exactly exactly. So how's this? How's
the show being released? Because with the last one. You
guys were very progressive and modern with the way you
did it. Obviously YouTube spin off website and you were
saying full episodes on Instagram. Yeah, the same again this time.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Yeah, although this time we're dropping all six episodes on
YouTube all at.
Speaker 5 (40:04):
Once, right, okay, so we can binge it.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
You can binge it, but on the socials, they'll come
out weekly just to tease people.
Speaker 5 (40:11):
Was that recommended by them? Like, hey, nowadays people like
it if you just drop them all at once.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
Is that last? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Last season we got there lots of people commenting, just
be like, I just want to watch it all now
because fifteen minutes, you know, it's just a a bit
short but bite sized.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
Can I can I ask if it's not too personal?
A question to be depends. Do your partners or have
they seen the first series of your show? Yep? Yes,
the first series?
Speaker 8 (40:37):
Yes, the second series yet?
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Right? Okay, R Special Troops.
Speaker 5 (40:42):
What did they think of the first season?
Speaker 2 (40:44):
They liked it. We've got merch the caps and here
is that a lot?
Speaker 4 (40:48):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 8 (40:49):
Yeah, present school advertising?
Speaker 5 (40:52):
Yeah, so he liked the hatt. What did you think
of the show? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:58):
The hat's great. I love It's like going to a
theater show and going to lighting was amazing, really really good.
And it's got even better for you, hasn't it in
many respects because I'm looking out into Studio B and
I'm seeing this beautiful little baby out there, gorgeous.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
And I'm not just saying that because you were, you know,
freaking out that maybe she will you know, but she's gorgeous.
So that's been it's been like a massive transformation for
you from from there to there.
Speaker 8 (41:29):
Yeah, and one year basically yes, Yeah, And I do
think there's pretty something magical about Singles Club and doing
season one where you just get to talk about your
hopes and dreams out loud. Yes, your mate on the
Telly And I think something really worked for me. So yeah,
I've sort of just like nailed it.
Speaker 5 (41:48):
Crazy, So you're only doing season two for brit then,
like you don't even want to do it?
Speaker 4 (41:53):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (41:53):
No, it was really fun, but I didn't. We talked
about a lot about like because I was pregnant during
the thing, so you sort of get to see me.
Speaker 5 (42:00):
Yeah, right, worry about that.
Speaker 6 (42:03):
Yeah. And then now that you've got how because obviously
it's something that you're hoping and dreaming for and then
you get it in the reality sort of bites a
little bit.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
How's it, how's your sleep.
Speaker 8 (42:13):
Broken?
Speaker 3 (42:15):
A word?
Speaker 4 (42:17):
Too bad?
Speaker 5 (42:19):
She's like, it's a whole new.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
World, doesn't it.
Speaker 5 (42:21):
It is?
Speaker 8 (42:21):
Yeah, I reckon three hours Stince. I feel pretty amazing.
If I get three hours in the row. I'm like, wow, yeah,
that's what you need.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Yeah, man, that's he I've found, you know, child wearing discipline.
Speaker 7 (42:34):
So you know, it's like bed at seven pm, it's late,
and then yeah it's late, and then I'm not up
till eight the next morning.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
All right, deal with it.
Speaker 5 (42:47):
And you say that to an infant, you say that.
Speaker 4 (42:50):
The baby, and the baby just sleeps, so.
Speaker 6 (42:54):
Goes to bed and then his wife gets up all night.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
Jason's like, yeah, that's how it should be. Hey, guys,

Speaker 5 (43:49):
Beef checking vegan and vegetarian options to reburg Gary redefining
the norm.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
Ye're nice? What's it in it to night Fellows?
Speaker 6 (44:01):
Interesting question, Jezz. Today I made a beautiful lamb roast
with roastumera which I hate, roast carrot and roast spuds,
so I'll be hooking into that when I get home there.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
Yeah, nice, nice sauce. Well, I tell you what.
Speaker 6 (44:18):
The sauce is an interesting one, Jas. I've gone with
a few leaves of your mint, yes, mixed it in
with some marmalade and a little bit of white wine vinegar.
Speaker 5 (44:28):
Wow, how'd you think of that?
Speaker 6 (44:29):
I don't know, man, It just sort of you're standing
there in the kitchen. You go, what can I do
to spice this up a little bit?
Speaker 4 (44:35):
Sure?
Speaker 6 (44:35):
And I'm not a big fan of min sauce. I've
made it. The wife can have it if she wants,
but other than that, I'll just get tipped down the
sink about a week.
Speaker 4 (44:42):
I'm a big fan of the old marmalade glaze on
your hams and things like that.
Speaker 6 (44:48):
I'd give it to you. I'd give it to you,
all right, I'd give it to you on your ham.
But that's probably all honey. Actually I don't mind a
honey obviously on a ham. Yes, But as we've discussed,
I hate meat mixed with free true.
Speaker 4 (45:00):
I think it is a travesty. And keysy you've been
letting me down of late. You on the team with
your meals. What I look forward to what keys he's
going to have. But there's been a lot of split chickens.
Speaker 5 (45:15):
Butterfly chicken, something split chicken. It sounds absolutely yeah, splitting
it's a butterfly chick. I actually my wife said you
want a butterfly chicken this week? And I said yes,
and then she went, actually, no, I've got another idea.
Speaker 6 (45:26):
Yeah, that was closed, so you nearly Yeah, She just
wanted to see what you wanted so that she could
determine what she would actually do, which is the opposite
of what you want, which.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
Is what we did.
Speaker 5 (45:34):
We got my food bag and last night we had
lamb with Kumeraus spud, carrot and a marmalade mint sauce.
Speaker 4 (45:40):
Wow, that was on Saturday night. That sounds foul.
Speaker 5 (45:45):
Yeah, yeah, to be honestam not very good.
Speaker 4 (45:48):
Tell you what I like with marmalade. Third time in
a row. The trick with it is, man, it's all
about it.
Speaker 5 (45:52):
You're prepared, No, it was prepared beautifully, third time in
a row. No longer ordering lamb from that particular company.
Speaker 6 (45:59):
You know what you need to do is what I do? Keyesy,
and let's go down to my local butchers. Support local, brother,
we do support local.
Speaker 4 (46:05):
Yeah, totally. I like to go to all my local
vegetable shops and you just go to the hot pot
stor and to my butcher and I it's specific cats.
Oh yeah, I'm very cuteful Jerry down there at the
local butcher. He's bloody great, Jerry. Yeah yeah, but I'm
having ram and tonight.
Speaker 6 (46:27):
There's so many other different types of food there that
you've got to get away from this.
Speaker 4 (46:32):
But my wife is making this with a with a
chicken breast and a beautiful sort of gingery soup. It's
great stuff with an egg floating in there as well
with the noodles.
Speaker 5 (46:43):
I reckon it's good because for decades all we've eaten
is Western food and New Zealand. That's pretty boring stuff.
And now are you're talking about all these great things, Jason.
Speaker 6 (46:51):
If you've been alive, Keezy, there's been every kind of
cuisine in the world. The problem is you grow up
on a Cardo plantation and.
Speaker 5 (46:57):
There's a small lifestyle block. Yeah, yeah, and so and
going out for dinner was like, oh, we're going to
go to the lone start, sure, and get what we
have at home. But biggot, I'm just.
Speaker 4 (47:05):
Prepping myself for Vietnam.
Speaker 6 (47:08):
Are you going to Vietnam?
Speaker 4 (47:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (47:09):
Man, are you?
Speaker 4 (47:11):
I'm going to live there. I'm living there, man.
Speaker 5 (47:14):
You know it's famous in Vietnam.
Speaker 4 (47:16):
Ramond that your sort of asiatic sort of foods talking
about Here's the Frank.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
Tune in week days and four on Radio.
Speaker 4 (47:30):
Hodaki Ellison Jane's there and the Radio Hodaki Big Show.
This Monday evening, the time fellas exactly fifteen minutes past
six o'clock, fellas a special time in my house.
Speaker 6 (47:43):
Over the weekend, over the last sort of week or so,
we've been reading the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Yes,
to my daughter Moggi Minogi. And prior to that, we've
been reading the Famous Five Books. And I got to
say there's a significant step up in quality from Famous
Five to Harry Potter. Right, But over the course of
(48:05):
yesterday my wife must have read about one hundred and
fifty pages to my daughter with a view of getting
to the end of the book and then watching the film. Yes,
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Don't or is it called
the Sorcerer's Stone? And America?
Speaker 5 (48:19):
It was called the Sorcerer's Stone because they were worried
that Americans wouldn't undertand.
Speaker 4 (48:23):
What a philosopher is is that right?
Speaker 5 (48:25):
One hundred percent. That's the same reason why a third
pounder was changed to a quarter pounder. Oh, they got
rid of the third pounder because the Americans would think
that one third is less than one quarter, right, because
it's got a three three.
Speaker 6 (48:36):
Yeah, that makes sense. And it was a real treat
actually to sit there and watch them because I've never
seen the Harry Potter films, right, so I got to
sit there and watch them with my daughter, as you know,
during her first time. What I've sort of forgotten about
was that when you're a kid and you watch a movie,
if you've seen that before, or if you know anything
(48:56):
about it at all, you have to say every single
thing that is coming up before it happens, so that
everybody in the room knows that you know more than them.
Speaker 4 (49:06):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (49:06):
So about three minutes into it, I got told what
happens at the end of the movie. Wow, that quick
straight into it, and it was just absolutely critical to
her that she knew that I knew that she knew
everything there was to know, and my wife was trying
to stop her from what.
Speaker 5 (49:23):
Did you say?
Speaker 6 (49:24):
Was she like, he's the bad guy? Everybody think and
spoil it. Yeah, they think it's snap, but it's actually
not straight away, just straight into.
Speaker 5 (49:35):
It's so funny.
Speaker 6 (49:37):
But it was quite good to watch it knowing exactly
what happened, because you got to see how well put
together the movie was. It's like, oh, man, if I
didn't know this, I would be totally get in tricked
because Alan Rickman seems like a really bad dude. Yes,
but I was also conscious of you cheesy, because I
know what a massive psycho you are.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
Harry.
Speaker 5 (49:57):
I enjoy Harry Potter. I grew up so this. I've
got a core memory, which is my dad taking me
out for dinner and then us going to watch the
first Harry Potter in the theater right and me having to
be like, Dad, please, He's like, what is it about.
I'm like, just just come old.
Speaker 6 (50:09):
To go watch it. We have to go watch And
how old were you?
Speaker 5 (50:13):
What year did that come out? Two thousand and one
or something?
Speaker 6 (50:16):
Oh wow, Yeah, it was a pretty special thing, it was.
She absolutely loves it. She can't wait to now start
the second book. We had all three of us are
on a couch. It was popcorn and lollies and all
that sort of stuff. Pretty wicked question.
Speaker 5 (50:31):
How did she react to the running into Baltimore and
the forest scene?
Speaker 6 (50:36):
Well, good as gold. Not too happy about what happens
to that unicorn?
Speaker 5 (50:40):
Yes, because that was a very I remember as a
kid at the theater being quite scared by that scene.
Speaker 6 (50:44):
Yeah, I think because we'd because we'd read the book,
well essentially that day she had read it, she was
sort of prepared for it, and she managed to taugh
it out.
Speaker 4 (50:52):
Normally she freaks out, but on this one she handled.
Speaker 6 (50:55):
It really well.
Speaker 5 (50:55):
That's good man.
Speaker 6 (50:56):
But it's awesome because I remember growing up and all
of these sort of things. For me, it was probably
Star Wars, Indiana Jones films, all those sorts of things
where you do have real core memories of watching things
with your family. So yeah, I'm pretty pumped to get
into what is there another five of those?
Speaker 5 (51:13):
There's another seven of them because they split the seventh
book in two. But I will say that the first
Harry Potter magical fun, right, second one Chamber of Secrets,
great but better for the adults. And then it changes
to a darker tone from three on movies, So it's
probably not how is Moggi Minogi.
Speaker 4 (51:31):
Seven just in seven, So you're just gonna have to
slow down the reading of the stories just a page tonight,
little one?
Speaker 6 (51:38):
Yeah right, right, Well, you must have taken all of
your daughters along to these as well.
Speaker 4 (51:42):
Totally, and they still to this day love Harry Potter movie.
But you know what I mean, Let's watch Harry Potter
one percent and it'll be like.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
Did they know they know that? Were they aware that
their dad played Dobby and the Harry Potter films?
Speaker 4 (51:57):
Yeah they were.
Speaker 5 (51:58):
That's amazing.
Speaker 4 (51:59):
But like everything, you know, everything I do in my career,
they're like whatever, yeah, you know what I mean. Actually
they love Dobby until they found out I was playing them.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodaki Oasis.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
Here on the Radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday evening.

things that we don't want to do. And let me
tell you there's heaps of it, all right, so get
them coming in good stuff.
Speaker 4 (52:48):
In the meantime, what's on the news with me?
Speaker 9 (52:55):
Kimzy fellas Or has almost passed in Michigan of the
USA because for a long time, now, hundreds of years,
it's been illegal for kids to run lemonade stands unless
they had a permit or paid fees.
Speaker 5 (53:13):
Isn't that crazy? So in the States because there's like
what fifty something stage, I don't know, I don't give a.
Speaker 4 (53:17):
Shit dollar und is a dollar tax keyzy or start?
Speaker 5 (53:20):
But finally it is legal for little kids to run
a lemonade stand without a permit, without fees. This bill
is hopefully going to be passed and it will be
legal in that state. It must, however, bring in less
than five thousand dollars US per year. Did you guys
ever run a lemonade stand growing up?
Speaker 6 (53:37):
I sort of ran a little moonshine alcohol. It was alcohol, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Well I was only seven, but this was in leven.
People weren really into lemonade in live In Yeah. They
sort of like your bourbons, your whiskeys, your beers and
all that sort of. So we started with the lemonade
and we just found that there wasn't the demand. But
(53:58):
we'd already built the little fare stall out of the
cardboard the cowdboard boxes.
Speaker 5 (54:03):
So it's easy to move to moonshine then to pack
down this.
Speaker 6 (54:05):
Well, how can we use this, because now we've got
the office set up. You don't want to just chuck
that in the bit and get rid of it. How
can we use it? So we just we just changed
over the hard liquor. Wow, and I was making you know,
quarter of a million a year.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
Yeah, it was good money back there because I ran
a tennea house and you know you.
Speaker 6 (54:24):
Did you do it out of the lemonade stands sort
of set up though, because they're very innocent looking easy,
that's the genius.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
The only different thing we did with it. We had
like corrugated iron is well you know what I mean.
It looked like a little farms shed.
Speaker 6 (54:37):
Did you use a little like a little cut out
of like a letterbox singing just like the money went
in the air, you swap it out.
Speaker 5 (54:43):
Yes, yes, it makes a lot of money out of it.
Most of you spend it all on meth and yeah,
yeah to sell.
Speaker 1 (54:57):
No Ah Holdichy Big Show with Jason Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 3 (55:02):

Speaker 5 (55:39):

it's so nice, and you've because I did all the renovations. Basically,
she's like, you've done so much work, are you said?
And I was like, yeah, I'm sad. And then I
go and see your house that we could have. That's
got an en suite and a double garage and you.
Speaker 4 (55:54):
Could have it, just reminiscing a feells yeah yeah, about
what we used to live and all that sort of jazz. Now, Mogie,
you're off home to your lamb and marmalade sauce with kumra,
roast potatoes and carrots delicious. Excited.
Speaker 6 (56:14):
I don't have excits right word, but I am excited
to get on the couch and watch watch something I
don't know. I'll be watching the agency, but I'm not
particularly strilled with that. Yeah, did you get to the internet?
Speaker 4 (56:24):
No, No, I haven't gone back to that for a
little while, right, I think we've got about three yps
in Yeah, yeah, you know how we go tomorrow?
Speaker 6 (56:32):
Key? What are you up to tomorrow tonight? Brother?
Speaker 5 (56:34):
That's a good question. Tonight, I think we're having burgers
of some sort. Are you another food beag situation?
Speaker 4 (56:41):
Ah?
Speaker 5 (56:42):
And then yeah, I'll just be going over the scripts

gonna need it tomorrow. Jason, what are you up to tonight?
Speaker 4 (57:09):

Speaker 5 (57:09):

Speaker 4 (57:10):
No, no, hot pots? My daughter is coming over. She's
been dog sitting and she's still dog sitting, and I said, hey,
why don't you pop over for tea tonight? So she'll
be over or she's over right now as we speak,
actually helping my wife. We bought her a desk for
(57:31):
her room, so They're just putting that together.
