recognize it, just played them ran Oh right, yeah, so
I think what I've discovered there his pugs is like
maybe his drafts. Oh so the robot one there, I've
played that he's unhappy, he wasn't happy, and the second
one was him saying yim over and over against the year.

At the beginning of the show, good stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Thanks Fellows, I thought so. Anyway, I got pretty grousey
of mad Dog. Your six sound to be another absolutely
beautiful day sparkling. I'm here in Auckland. Of course, we
only care about Auckland. What's happening here is the only
focus of the country. Everyone's behind us out the fellas. Yes,
from the top of the North to the bottom of
the South. In a little bit chilly, but man, I'm

(01:34):
loving it.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Bluebirds, bluebirds, It's absolutely magnificent. Now we should warn people
that old keys he's coming in a hour of them
and a hor of the mood, which is why I
think he tried to hijack the start of the show.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
But it's all good, Keysy. How are you going?

Speaker 5 (01:54):
I'm actually great, Jase.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
I was in a fantastic mood until you came in

Speaker 5 (02:00):
I'm in a great mood now, you are because we
cheered you up during the award winning Hodege Big Show
Outro podcast available wherever you get your.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Podcast, because you were spitting text for.

Speaker 5 (02:12):

spitting tex.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
You were fel you were esteem.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
It, absolutely pooing your pants about something I don't know.
You had to be in your bonnet. You had to
poo in your pants.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
God and your rate.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Thanks you guys had a chair a fella.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
There's what mates does.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Mates. Hey, how are you, Jason?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I'm very well, thanks fellas.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Can't complain though, I did wake up this morning with
a very painful kidney, and I.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Was like, what's the what's that about?

Speaker 6 (02:51):
Man?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Has that There's nothing I did yesterday that warrants me
having a sore kidney?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
But my kidney really hurts.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
So when Keysy said you, how are you? When you
said I can't complain, and then immediately complained.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, but I complained to my wife early in the
morning about my sore kidney and then I let it go, right,
and then I say, you're right, just backboned for the
rest of the day, right, Okay, Hey Mogi, what's coming
up on the show?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Mate?

Speaker 7 (03:21):
What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Second to the last day to get involved with the
Pies that pay and beer and pie July there if
you elus, Yeah, man, listen for the cue to call,
give us a bell. You can win yourself two hundred
and fifty dollars in cold hard cash. We're going to
have a little bit more chat about the pigeon wings
looking over his beak with me, Keysy, but mostly will

(03:45):
just be dragging each other from head all seven o'clock.
Does that sound good?

Speaker 8 (03:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Sounds good to me, as long as I had a
per my pants breck, because that's not very clever stuff here.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
The whole Ikey Big Show days from four on Radio Hodarchy.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Is indeed pearl jam there on the Hodarky Big Show
this Thursday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
The time is twelve minutes past four o'clock.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Fellas, the Big Show brought a racing pigeon.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Gz on who wings looking lot for is big with big.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Geez god, I hate that name so much.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
It's fantastic. I love it.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
Yeah, hey, listen, Fellas.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Basically the point of today right is, I've gone down south.
I've cheted it to pigeon Tim. I've bought a racing
pigeon that's racing this weekend. It's doing its first race
one hundred and fifty kilometers and we could win some
serious money.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
It was four hundred bucks.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I did it thinking that you guys would go quarters
with me and we'd share in the winnings. All you've
done is suggested. I've been scammed and not one a
part of it. What I'm here today to ask is
what is it going to take do you guys to
get on board with this thing?

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Because it's first race is the Saturday?

Speaker 6 (04:53):
Right?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Ak?

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Well, Look, I mean this is a thing easy. It's
felt like if this felt like we haven't been needed. No,
you know, you went out, you've bought this pigeon, you
surprised us whether it and it felt like we've been excluded.
It felt like it was your bird. And so I'm
certainly I want you to enjoy the whole process, but

(05:18):
I just sort of haven't feel like I'm a part
of it. Then we come in another day, you're allocating rolls,
so once again, it just sort of feels like the
whole thing's just been I mean, you know better than anyone, Kesy,
what it feels like when one of your mates has
just shoving something down your throat.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yeah, I mean just ramming it.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Down your throat, but you're not that into it, but
he keeps on ramming it down your throat trying to
say that I'm not that into it.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, when I first heard you talking about this actually keesy,
my first thought was, who the hell do you think
you are?

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Well, when I said I bought us a racing pigeon.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I mean, the audacity of it just really got inside
my goat. You go and buy a racing pigeon going
off for the foulers without consulting us.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Not a word at any point.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I am filthy about I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
I thought it would be fun. I didn't know Jason
was gonna get deep inside your goat, Mike. I didn't
realize I was ramming it down your throat. I had
no idea of either of those things. I thought it
would be a fun thing for the group to do.
So I'm sorry about that. What I need to know
now is what is it going to take to get
you guys on board of this thing? Because I thought
it would be a great little exercise for.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
To me, what you're saying is what's it gonna take
for you guys to bail me out of this well,
absolutely horrendous situation I'm in.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
It could win us lots of money, man, I coul
said it could win fifteen hundred bucks this week. Well,
the first thing I need is a proper apology, and
for me, that means Kezy down on all wings, looking
over your beak with me, Kezy and just saying I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
I'm not getting down on the floor and saying sorry
so that you'll buy a corner of my pigeon.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
That sentence is the weirdest sentence I think I've ever said.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, that's on my list as well.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Actually, Keezy, for me, that's the first step, second step.
Any winnings I split fifty between me and Magi.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Oh yeah, cool, okay, cool, So just you just need
to take the per se.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
You don't even try, I'm being honest.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
If you want us on board, that's the deal. You
on all fours, looking over your shoulder, saying sorry over
his wings, and any winnings get split fifty to fifty
with me and Mogi.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Okay, okay, let's just let's just pretend I'm going to
say okay to this ridiculous deal. Are you going to
put one hundred bucks each in towards the purchasing of
the pigeon?

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Who?

Speaker 5 (07:46):
What I almost said penguin? I wonder if there's racing penguin. Yes,
so you give me one hundred dollars, yes, yes, yes,
and then if you guys get all of the money, yes,
and I will definitely pitch in. And you know, maybe
a bit of a rejig of the roles because you're
in the manager's position as well, But there was no

(08:07):
vote on that. You just elected yourself in that position.
But we as a team should be voting on that,
right And I've been talking the peg sound about this.
He is absolutely livid. You've been shoving it down his
throat as well.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Have I ramming it down? And he is just felthy
about it.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
I had no idea, you know.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Just instinctively, I go management, Mogi, management.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Well Mogi, yeah, well I think pugs myself, right, But
this again, it shows we need to vote because I
shared the pugs and he was thinking hody jar or
there you go. So this is the thing and maybe
we have to put this to the to the public
as well.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Well.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
Who gets pigeon manager? Yeah that's right, well, because it's
the only way that we can have a vote that
hasn't been tarnished, right by some kind of a favoritism.
If we vote for it, there could be resentment within
the ground if we put it in the hands of
the audience. Okay, well look three four eight three? Who
should be the pigeon manager? Well, the other thing I
want to know is he's Keysy been shoving it down

(09:08):
people's throats three four a three. So if the audience
agree that that's been happening, that Keysy has absolutely been
ramming it feels.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Like that to me.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
So three four eight three? Has Keyesy been ramming it?
And who should be the pigeon manager? Every text in
the drawer for Reburger?

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Yeah, and up next.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Felers, I thought we've better chat to pigeon Tim, the
guy organizing the whole time, head of the big race
this weekend.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Oh God, that feels so much better.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
It got it off on the chest.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Can breathe so much easier now that you're not ramming
it down fast Chase.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
in week days at four on Radio Hodarches.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Indeed the White Stripes on the Hodarchy Big Show this
Tuesday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
The time twenty five minutes past four o'clock.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
If you've just joined us, you could be a here
that the Big Show has purchased a racing pigeon. The
pigeon is racing for the first time this weekend Saturday,
I believe, races at Wamadou and we could make some
money fail us.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Yeah how much? Well if it wins.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Yeah, well that's the reason why we've got the pigeon
man himself, pigeon Tim, on the line with us.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Good a Tim, how's it going mate?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Good?

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Hey guys, how are you you well today? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Thanks mate, can't complain.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
Goodness God, big big race this weekend.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Yeah, big big race, Tim. So where is the race
actually going? What's the finished point? What's the start point?

Speaker 6 (10:32):
The start point is the ash version. And these are
all racing homing pigeons, so they are traveling home their
home basis. So yeah, bring it on.

Speaker 5 (10:44):
So just you know, to explain it for the layman
out there that doesn't understand pigeon racing. What you do
is you take all these pigeons, you drive them as
far away as possible as you can from their home.
You sort of spin them around and around so they're confused.
You let them out, and then you find out whether
they know enough to get home or not.

Speaker 6 (11:04):
And surprisingly they do.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
It's unreal, isn't it.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
Yeah, that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
So Tim Saal pigeon the Big Show pigeon was to win.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
What sort of cash are we looking at here?

Speaker 6 (11:17):
We're talking big dividends here, boys, dividend indeed, thousand dollars
for first. Oh yeah, eight hundred for second, six hundred
for third, four hundred for fourth, two hundred for first,
and one hundred for six and we pay it to
a fifteenth place for one hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
It's not bad, is it? And also at the end
of it's an eight race series. At the end of
it all, are we talking about some kind of a
cup with something engraved in it?

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Right?

Speaker 6 (11:43):
There is? Yes, glory, that's what you're aiming.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
For, the right Tim Pigeon. Tim, the man who's organized
the racing pigeon for the Big Show. We haven't actually
told you the name of the pigeon yet, No, you haven't.
It's currently called Pigeon one nine. And Tim, just confirming
you're not a listener of this show, are you?

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I'm not, Tim, shame on you?

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Okay? Well, the reason yeah, of course. But the reason
I ask you that is because I'm about to hit
you with potentially the most confusing pigeon name you've ever heard.
Are you ready for it?

Speaker 6 (12:17):
I'm looking forward to it, guys.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Okay, have you got a pen?

Speaker 6 (12:20):
I do?

Speaker 5 (12:21):
Okay. The name of our pigeon is Kezy on all
wings looking over his beak with Mekezy easy on all
wings looking over his beak at me.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
That's what it's outstanding.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
Over his beak with me, Kezy. We'll put it in
an email just so you don't get it wrong, because
I'll be spewing if it gets engraved on the cat.

Speaker 6 (12:50):
Every week I read out the results and we put
it on our Facebook page, on our Hector Blacks Lounge,
by our Facebook page, and this is going to be
an award winner to read this out.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Yeah beautiful, it's look, it's very confusing, Tim. I will
send you the full the full name, just so you've
got it locked in there properly, mate, before we go
as well? How is how is pigeon one O nine
a ka Keyzy on all wings looking over his beak
with me Kezy? How's he looking ahead of the big
grace this weekend?

Speaker 6 (13:14):
And yet bang on. I've been talking to the trainer
and I asked specifically about your bird. Now they're weave worried.
We're going to have a wee bit of a head wind.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
Okay for Saturday's race.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
But you're just looking primed and ready and look as
good as a flying pigeon.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
Yeah right. Can I ask you how you can tell
the difference between a pigeon that's primed and ready and
one that doesn't know up from down?

Speaker 6 (13:38):
You looked them in the eye.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
Yeah, sure you've been looking at this. You've been doing
it wrong.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
Hey look pigeon, Tim, mate, thank you so much for
coming on once again. Also, big shout out to Tim
runs a Hector Blacks the bar down there in Timidoo.
I understand this. The reception of Hodaki down there. The
radio reception is not the greatest. So if you're coming
from out of town and you want something good to
go when you're heading to Timaroo up heic to Blacks.
But Tim, can we have a chat to you again
next week, maybe on the Monday, and you can reveal
the results to us?

Speaker 6 (14:06):
Absolutely boys, looking forward to it.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
Mate, Thanks pigeon term, we'll talk to you next week.
Bloody exciting stuff. Phillis well, I.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Mean, you know, if he wins that's five each for us.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
No, I didn't agree to that, and then.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
We've you know, we've quit more than quadrupled what we've.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Yes, Actually we've just prior to that chat, we were
discussing who should be the manager. I've had a great
text here on three four eight three. I actually agree
with it. They're saying, Jace, you should be the manager.
Reason being that you're a similar height to the pigeon
and you've got spindly legs and a massive beak.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
So were how do you feel about that?

Speaker 1 (14:44):
The whole Aching Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchis.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Indeed, are em there on the Hold Archy Big Show
this Thursday afternoon. The time is four fifty two. Fellas,
let's talk TV. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
Last night, fellas, I watched another one of those untold
I haven't got the title, and that's that's bad preparation
for me, fellas. But do you remember a few years
ago there was four students that were they came to
a grizzly end on a US campus, a university campus. Yeah, anyway,

(15:32):
well it happened like three years ago, maybe between two
to four years ago. Anyway, young people and an intruder
came into the house and things got pretty ugly from
there on. In three episodes, three episodes on Netflix. There
and I was sort of watching it and I'm gone, yeah,

(15:52):
this isn't entertaining as such. I sort of like to
gloss over the grizzly details, yes, and get to the manhunt.
I like the catching of yeah, I don't like the
sort of going over the grizzly details with a fine
tooth game, you know what I mean. Yes, So it's
three episodes and it's sort of towards the back half

(16:12):
of the second episode. In the third episode, that's when
you get to the parts that I like. But with
the watches, I don't know if you know this, but
there's some shock and burst day, Oh for sure, shock
and burst. Yes, I think it's worth a watch. If
you're into those things. I won't give it any buzzies.
I won't give it give it any buzzies. But if
you like that sort of thing, give it a watch Netflix.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Am I carried on with my sort of comfort viewing
because you know, my wife and I get into that
terrible position of scrolling through stuff and going what about this?

Speaker 2 (16:42):
What about this?

Speaker 3 (16:43):
And it drives me insane. So what we do in
that situation is go back to something that we know
is really good and.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Then we watch it.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
So jas So we watched an old movie, Romancing the Bone.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
And got it. It's a hell of a film.

Speaker 5 (17:03):
And you've watched that at least ten times over the.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
You know, it's one of those movies where you go
back to it again and you see something different in it.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Do you you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (17:17):
And where did you watch it?

Speaker 2 (17:20):
In the lounge?

Speaker 3 (17:21):
And I'll say to my wife, I don't remember that
happening on the you know the last time we watched that.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
She's no, no, neither.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
Do you know what's interesting about this movie is that
that's a play on a movie called Romance in the Stone,
which nobody that's listening will remember came out in nineteen
eighty three. Movie nobody will actually.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Funnily enough, I watched that on the r CM channel
the other day. It was it's actually a very sexy movie, a.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Very sexy movie. You're Michael Douglas, you're Kathleen Danny Devita.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
It's great, it's bloody great stuff.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
It's really really good. Not as good obviously.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
As Romancing the Bone.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Look, I've got to give it are solid four point
seven eight buzzies.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
We're getting them to two decial places. Now Jason's doing
what he's done to the Trouble, He's just ruining what
he's doing.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
Ye, so just looked it up. Romanting the Bone came
out in nineteen eighty four. It genuinely is an adult film, right.
It stars Barbie Dahl, d A h l and George
Payne um.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
And yeah, so it's a real it's a real adult
film there, Jason.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Well, obviously, yeah, I'm not just making this up keasy, No,
of course not so.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Yeah, four point seven eight busies.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
I watched Our Age's Fortune. Yeah that was good. No,
I just made it up. Fellas for attention, what's happening
after five?

Speaker 9 (18:47):
Jas, Well, look, apparently this has been some controversy wea
the trouble, and apparently you guys want to check to
me about something with regards to the throw.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
But I just want you off the show completely, the
whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy Tune
in week days at four on Radio hod.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Ike welcome back to your messive bank bones.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Hope your Thursday's absolutely going off. You're listening to the
big Show, incidentally brought to you by Reburger.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Serving good times and good food Dina or take away
Reburger today.

Speaker 10 (19:30):
I'm sorry, I really need help. I'll just I just
I think it's really important to everyone knows just how
delicious Rainburger is because obviously there's stop handcrafted and I
released loaded fries and my hate I just not a
papal light and it changes the game because.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
It's a.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
It's good stuff.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
You can't pause like that for about five sings and
they just say no, I was just enjoying it, glow.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
How was your weird pumpkin carry last night?

Speaker 5 (20:11):
What was weird about it? Based, wasn't it?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (20:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:14):
It was an Indian style carry? Correct? Yeah? Well what
made an Indian style? Again? Because they don't famously they
don't have pumpkins in India. Hey, I'm googling this. We're
trying to do a radio show.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Google Fingers.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Come on to doctor Google Fingers.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
For anyone who's never heard the nickname. And it's five
years old. Yes, India has plenty of pumpkins. It was
actually the second largest producer of pumpkins in the world Mogie.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
According to Google. Yeah, come on, you got to wake
up man. It was a pumpkin style curry with lentil,
a pumpkin style carry.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Is an Indian.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Don't start. It was fine? Okay, My answer is it
was fine.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
It was fine.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
What else did you hear with it? Though? Rice? And
uh little suit? There's a curry? You hear the pumpkin
suit with Rice? What is this? I feel like a
bit of fricking silent.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Yeah, it's getting a bit crazy. Hey, now he had soup?

Speaker 5 (21:25):
Is that we were at? It's a show.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Now listen.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Apparently there's been some controversy ree the thrubble, and we'll
address that next because I'm fired up.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Yeah, I'm fired up.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
But in the meantime we'll fight up about the trouble.
We wouldn't have this controversy.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Here's Velvet Revolver the.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Whole Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
in week days at four on Radio hold Ik.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
This indeed the Buttole surfers there on the Hodarchy Big
Show this Thursday evening. The time is five fourteen.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Hey, Pugs is here.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
It's Pugs.

Speaker 7 (22:06):
That's the name, fellas.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
How are you?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Thanks for having me?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Why are you here?

Speaker 5 (22:10):
I'll tell you why he's here.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Mate, Show meetings, show me the meeting.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Show meeting is now in progress.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
The reason part we're all gathered here today. Yeah, for.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Something that I think a lot of a lot of
people are texting it on three for eight three. It's
something we've noticed over the past weeks, months even that
a beloved part of our show, known as the Friday Throbber,
it has been I don't even know how, I don't
even know how to describe it. It's been massively disrespected
by a certier member of the Hockey Big Show.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
Is something that's been bugging you. Thank you, Buggan, it's
been bugging me.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yes, bugging.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
I guess that means you've probably got a own depict
Yeah with Hody j.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
I got a bone a pitch because I was just
about to say, actually, yeah, he doesn't have it, you know,
he doesn't get to do it.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
What by the way, Hoidy j aka the Jiz but.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Kills there's five stings now.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
So what you remember?

Speaker 10 (23:24):
Man?

Speaker 2 (23:25):
What's the issue?

Speaker 5 (23:26):
Why are you not Why are you not taking the trouper. Seriously, man,
what are you doing? You just phoning it in and
you're not even listening to songs. You're just like and
you're cracking up about it. You know, you're laughing at
the fact you don't even know these songs. You're nominating shitters.
You've got five wins on the year, you've got like
fifty s to risk, you've been disqualified once and you've
got a small d and you've got a small dye.
What's what's going on? What is going on?

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Look? I'd like to take this opportunity, if I may, to.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Formally apologize, Okay, cool, I've been it's fair to say
less than enthusiastic with regards to the Throbber. Indeed, you'll
often find me on a Friday afternoon thinking about the
Throbber and going, God, a bloody trobber. I walk around

(24:21):
the CBD thinking, Oh, the bloody Throbber. And so I
think it's fair to say that I have been listening
enthusiastic and and very cavalier, you might say, with the
choices that I've made.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
And often I think to myself, Oh, that'll do.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
That is your attitude, Yeah, that'll dad, And I fully
understand what you're all saying here is that I'm disrespecting
a massive institution of the show.

Speaker 11 (24:49):
Can I just say, it's not just us, Jase. The
people are pissed off about it. I get messages on
the Instagram at HODECKYPEG Show.

Speaker 7 (24:55):
Do you know how many people out.

Speaker 11 (24:57):
There would be honored and thrilled to get to cheer
who's a song that might get played on radio?

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Hold? It's so exciting.

Speaker 11 (25:04):
It's a corner stone of the Big Show since its origin,
I would say.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Or hear about seriously, since the first week of the
Big Show, and we've actually ended up chopping and changing
Watch the Throbber is just to accommodate you, Jason, your
complete lack of enthusiasm. So now we've got it where
the audience are providing us with songs, and I'll be honest,
I think we've got to get rid of that. I
think we've got to go back to the original. It's

(25:27):
up to us to choose the songs, provide the songs,
and have them voted on. And if suit of members
aren't bringing, you know, great tunes to the party, then
maybe the voting will show that. The voting will show
that the thing is Mogan.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Even when the audience was was sending through suggestions, Jace
wouldn't even wouldn't even listen to the song.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
You just that'll do? He just point out one of
the tests.

Speaker 7 (25:48):
True, what about a red card system?

Speaker 11 (25:51):
You know, we're like say, say or anybody sorry, anybody
in the team has a someone's that universally it is
decided that they did not care about.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
If I can just a red card, you're out for
the next.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
Week, oh that weekend, the next week or something, so
you're out of that game that week's round, and then
your band for a week.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
So I like that a lot.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
I feel like this is rewarding Jason's behavior. Well, I'd
rather somebody.

Speaker 11 (26:18):
Did it that was enthusiastic, whether that's an audience member
or I would obviously I love it.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Fellows. Can I just say, I hear you.

Speaker 11 (26:29):
R.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Don't stop throwing around RS randomness or meaning for me,
just pack it up.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
And I vow from this day forward, he's going to
pick a shither tomorrow. I am going to bring bangers,
okay every Friday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Fear not, fear not.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Okay, Alexander the Great of you're trying to be right now.
So tomorrow, if you don't bring a banger, you are
banned for one week and pugs will be taking your place.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
All right, Okay that sounds really reasonable.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
And Fear also shout out to Jace for yet another
apology without saying the word sorry.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
Yeah the master, Yeah, you are the master of that.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
in four.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
It's bitter implied. You're like on radio Homeggings.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
In the last days we are.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
So we're doing to a day at the moment, to
a show to a show and the people are loving it, fellows.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
Well they are the only people that aren't loving it
is remember Dad from Dad's Pies?

Speaker 5 (27:41):
Oh, how Dad he's gonna be gets a horror of.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Bo He gets pretty fired up, for sure.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
He's literally emailed again and been like, hey, can you
let Jason know that Dad's that there's a serious amount.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Of pop pride, pot pride.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
What's that she's got to start her?

Speaker 4 (27:58):
So I'm just passing on what he's seeing, all right,
there's a serious amount of put pride baked into every
Dad's pie.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
And he was like you did that in an email? Yeah, yeah,
voice not voice.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Okay, can you do that on email?

Speaker 5 (28:11):
Says he's driving and stuff? But what's that?

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Can you? Can you do that on email? Okay? Good stuff.
Let's go to the phone line, get a stiffany house life.

Speaker 8 (28:22):
It's pretty good? Pretty good?

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah, good stuff? Well, how's fine to day to day?
Is it beautiful up there? It is?

Speaker 8 (28:29):
It was a bit chili for some years, stayed nice
and crystal days?

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Yeah nice? Tell me, Steff? Can I call you stiff?

Speaker 8 (28:37):
You can call me whatever?

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Okay? Cool? What do you do for a crust, Steff?

Speaker 8 (28:43):
I work in new car sales, Edmund, carbone. Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
You know people that work in new car sales Edmund
or the backbone of this country, and I won't hear
a word against them.

Speaker 8 (28:58):
We're a tough bunch.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
When you're having a bit of a smoke, Oh, taking
a little break there. What sort of party you like
to run with? I'm a cheese yeah, another role with that?

Speaker 5 (29:10):
That's good eating?

Speaker 11 (29:11):
Right?

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Then?

Speaker 5 (29:11):
I can I ask you, Steff a bit of a
personal question, but are you married?

Speaker 10 (29:16):
I am?

Speaker 5 (29:16):
What did you do your first dance to? Can I
ask you that? What was the song?

Speaker 8 (29:22):
Probably it was some trucking song like my husband's a
trucker and they played some some old Kilbery truck songs.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Oh, I think is it the song from Smoking the
Band or one of those? But I think I know
the song.

Speaker 8 (29:37):
I think it could be. Yeah, it was twenty eight
years ago.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Oh, congrect, Did you cut some shape stuff?

Speaker 6 (29:46):
What's that?

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Did you cut some shapes? Did you burn up the
dance floor?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (29:51):
No, I still had a few few nerves going on.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yeah, what have I done?

Speaker 5 (29:56):
What have I done?

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Well? Great news, Steff, You've just won yourself two hundred
and fifty bucks cash.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
How does that sound?

Speaker 5 (30:04):
Mate?

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Steff just quickly was it that trucking convoy song from
nineteen Yeah?

Speaker 8 (30:09):
Yeah, we alone beers?

Speaker 5 (30:12):
Yeah, so when someone's even a few beers or you
get married.

Speaker 12 (30:17):
Yeah, chuck on the convoy side. Good, get on your stuff,
You hold the line and pugs will hand you that
cash in person right out.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
Random question makee yeah, mate, it was very Oh yeah,
I don't know what made me think of that, But
maybe that's a question we could ask because it's quite
like that. Have you ever heard that before?

Speaker 3 (30:40):
No?

Speaker 5 (30:40):
I never heard that before.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Did you guys have a first dance? Because we didn't
do that at our wedding.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
Well you were, you were off your face stagger and bars?
Did you wear? Yeah? I did? I did? Ours was
too uh sweet Texas Sweet something or other by the
Last Shadow Puppets lead singers Alex Turner. Great tune, absolutely
great tune. And my mate's band played it live. But
he played it. We had a dance sorted out for

(31:06):
it that we learned. Yes, but my mate played it
at like triple speed. I don't know why I did that,
but we looked like fools. So Mogi was out there
effident to keep up with it. That's so funny. Mine
was I Can't take my Eyes off of You by
Frankie Belly.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yeah, what really do you mean? That'd be a good
song for a thrommer.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
So it is a Jakes the Hood Arching Big Show
with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune in week days at
four on Radio Holdaky.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
The Darkness there on the Hodarky Big Show this Thursday evening.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
The time is five fifty three. I just forgot what day.

Speaker 5 (31:45):
It was just Tim Paranas the best of us, man.
I know what you're doing. You're doing a goat and pressure. Yes,
it was actually yeah, which is.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
A great professional Radio Seguay, because the Goat is returning
the Greatest of all Time countdown here at hoduky A
thousand songs ranked in order by the hodukey listeners. All
you have to do is text Goat to three four
eight three will send you out a link there your vote,
and then it's pretty easy. Whichever song gets the most
votes is nominated to be the greatest song of all time.

Speaker 5 (32:13):
Weavens. If there's a tie, keezy. If there's a tie,
if someone's got equal votes, what happens then? Alphabetical or
year of release? What are we doing?

Speaker 2 (32:22):
I think I decide?

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Yeah, yeah, Well came up to me and said, look,
if we have a tied situation, Hoidy J, because you
know you love your music, we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Make it that you be the tie breaker.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
Right, Okay, Well that's good to know, because so for example,
let's just say hypothetical, a couple of past winners.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
You know you've got smells like teen Spirit Yavana and
then you might have black by Pearl Jam. Thank you, Oh,
Hoidy J. Navana and Pearl Jam are tied for first place?
Which one do you want to be the winner?

Speaker 3 (32:51):
And then I would go The winner of the Goat
for twenty twenty six is Black by.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
Pearl Jam Right, okay, nice?

Speaker 6 (33:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (33:01):
Is it because you prefer pil jam? Yes, I do, yeah, Okay,
I like Okay, Well, the best way to ensure that
does not happen is by texting Goat to three four
eight three lock your votes, and it's open now until Sunday,
August sixteenth, and then we shut it all down and
put together the playlist and we rip into the countdown
nine am Monday morning on the August seventeenth. Blood be good,

(33:22):
only a few weeks away.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
I love me a countdown, fellers, I love me account.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
I look forward to this every single year now. People
sometimes they say, well, how can you have a new
Goat every single year? But for me, it changes all
the time. The music I love it changes year on
year on year on year. So the thing that I
felt was a go this year is actually different than
what I thought was a Goat last year, and so
on et totally.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
Mine's very different this year, and mine is heavily influenced
by a recent concert we met.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
That's right, And these are the things that happen. Yeah,
absolutely that And then when you know there might be
a musician that passes away and then they get thrashed
like Ozsie Osborne. Like right, they have a big influence, Ja,
Just don't they. I know you're a big fan.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Who of what?

Speaker 5 (34:03):
You love them?

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Oh? Yeah, hey, now listen.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
Coming up after six o'clock, we've got a bit of
a sinkhole update from old Mogi and we've got some
breaking news too, The.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Hot Aching Big Show with Mike and Kezy. Tune in
week days at four on Radio hod I.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Welcome back your messive bagbones. Hope your Thursday's going along
very nicely. Indeed, are you listening to the Big Show,
by the way, brought to you by Reburger.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
Beef checking vegan and vegetarian options, Reburger redefining the norm.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
What's on the dinner plate tonight?

Speaker 5 (34:36):
Megie, that's a great question from you, Woody hoody Ja there,
and actually I think I do know. I think I'm
having an Indian style corma Indian style corma there. What
makes an Indian style the fact that a corn is
an Indian dish from southern India. There, Jason, they served
that with rice Keyesy a little rice number. Wow, just

(34:58):
what you had with your soup last night.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
I did have soup. I had a punkin curry. You sure, Okay,
you can have pumpkin and more rays than just some
more rays small ways than just soup, fellows fellers, more
rays like the eel fellas.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
I'm in a bit of a dilemma actually, because do.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
You want to know what Jason's dilimer is?

Speaker 9 (35:18):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Yeah, he wants to have a hot pot.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Oh yeah, Well it's not really my dilimri. It's just
that my wife and I were going to meet for
dinner and I said it's on you, babe, you decide,
and she's like, oh, I hate deciding, you know. And
I'm like, well, you know, we could, you know, because
if you can't think of anything, I'm mum, I've got
an option.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
Can I suguesce to you Jason that you don't do
a hot pot? You can suggest it because you might
find yourself having multiple hot pots in a very short
amount of time and getting sick of it. Worth an
upcoming come down with me, hepney, but that might you
see what I'm saying, I hear what I hate to

(35:58):
be for somebody to get marked down because somebody can't
get his snout out of the hot pot trough.

Speaker 4 (36:05):
And so listeners at unawere Jase is addicted to hot pot.
There's this one restaurant in the awkward CB. He's been
there like a billion times in the last couple of.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Months, not a billion.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
Come on, man, I'm having tacos.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Hey, oh yeah, good, yuh yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
I like those ones, but my family doesn't like them,
so I never get.

Speaker 5 (36:23):
To eat them.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
It really sucks.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Hey, But coming up, we've got a bit of an
update on Mogi sinkhole.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Yes, just down the street from him.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
People have been stopping me in the street about this.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
It's been stopping your bloody outrageous. Here's the Black Keys.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
The Hierarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy tune.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
In four.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Indeed Marcy Playground there on the Darkey Big Show this
Thursday evening. The time eleven minutes past six o'clock.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Fellas as you will know, and it's been right across
the news over the last sort of week. There's a
massive sinkhole that's opened up right outside my house. Yes,
it's it's massive, ten meters, it's keasy. You should see
the size of this bastard. Probably ten to fifteen meters deep. Now,

(37:15):
this happened because it's sort of the street is sort
of a sits in a basin somewhat. So when we
had the huge rains three years ago, the floods sort
of pulled there and it ended up causing a sinkhole there.
But the council sorted it out by putting a steel
plate over the hole. Yes, so that that was all

(37:35):
sort of but lo and behold, more rain over the
last three years has resulted in this sinkhole getting absolutely massive.
Now we're talking on the show yesterday about I'm trying
to sort it out by filling it up with grass clippings.
What do we have their grass? Its old nappies. Yes, yeah,
I put my catty litter, that's right. I put my

(37:56):
old toy to akra in there. There's some asbestos in there,
just anything that people have got. They can just come
along and just drop it in the whole try and
fill it up. So last night, now the councilor has arrived.
They are facing it. That's great. So they've fenced it
all off. They've shut the streets so you can't get
out of that street anymore, and they've they sort of
spent the fear three days getting in a port coom

(38:19):
on site a lunch of smoke o porta coom. Yes,
so they ain't leaving any time soon. I've never seen that,
So that's good that that's there. Now. What I didn't
know until last night when I got woken up at
three o'clock in the morning. As they're working twenty four
hours a day, twenty four hours a day, so they're
out there last night with diggers and tracks and vans

(38:40):
and everyone's having a laugh and enjoying themselves. So apparently
this work is going to be going for twenty four
hours a day, seven days a week for the next
two months. Now. Of course it's not going to take
two months, probably take four months.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah, I'd say a couple of years if.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
It's a council sort of thing.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Yeah, she's a big job. But I'm just sort of
wondering what I should do because I like it. I
like sleeping if I can, and so I was awake
last night from three o'clock, so I've been awake since
three o'clock this morning. I just wondered if anybody's got
any ideas three for eight three what I can do
to either reduce the noise outside or make it so

(39:18):
that I can sleep inside.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Yeah, actually, just I knew waking up at three that
might have been me. Actually because I've got some stuff
out of the you know, out of our storage so
that we wanted to get rid of it. Yeah, I
dumping it in the stink hole there, in the sink hole,
So that might have been me. Yeah, apologies make when
people working when you did that, though, they stopped. Well,

(39:41):
I dumped it all in there. Actually they might have
been on smoo.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Yeah, yeah, mess of that smokeo porticon. True story. One
of my old my final flat I lived in before
I moved in with my wife, was for two weeks
straight there was twenty four hour works outside right and
the front of our house, my bed and was right
by the road. And because of the style of road,
it was like it was classified as a certain type

(40:06):
of road, which meant they could work on it all
through the night, diggers, steamrollers, all sorts of stuff. It
was crazy. It is interesting, isn't it, Because it's it's
going to be more resident dr I mean, don't get
me wrong, I love it. Yeah, I love it. But
some of my elderly neighbors they're not into it at all. Yes,
but it is an interesting one that you let it,
you know, sit there for three years, and once it
gets absolutely terrible, then you think I will start working

(40:29):
twenty four to seven to get sorted out. How many
people are there working on it? Honestly, there's about forty
five there last night. And then you've got all the people.
You've got all the spectators, one hundred spectators because people
love a gork. Then you've got a probably another probably
another two to three hundred people turn up every hour
just dumping stuff in it as well.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
You've also got the you know, and then you're looking
at it one fifty people going through all the stuff
that people have dumped.

Speaker 5 (40:54):
Yeah, that's right. Treasure hunds are turning up as well.
It sounds like two thousand people looking at Moggy's. Oh
they're loving it. Yeah, they're getting right in there.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
CAZy the hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio hold.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
I King is indeed the Black Crows there on the
Hodarchy Big Show this thusday evening.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
The time twenty three minutes a bat six o'clock Fellas.

Speaker 5 (41:16):
We've teamed up with Hira Hobby again, the everything experts
to tackle the jobs you've been putting off around the house. Yeah,
we've done a few jobs with these.

Speaker 4 (41:23):
Feelers, and this time they've given us a one thousand
dollars hire a Hobby voucher to give away.

Speaker 5 (41:27):
We'll be doing that tomorrow. Yes, Oh is it tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Yes? Wow.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
In the meantime, if you have a big job that
needs doing, tax the word hobby hubb y to three
four eight three and then chuck after the word hobby.
I'll give us some details on the job that you
need doing. A thousand bucks.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
We'll be calling someone tomorrow and that could you know,
that could sort out a huge job if need be
totes upgrade. You're living space without the blunders real rehinos
from real hobby legends.

Speaker 5 (41:51):
Oh that's a good call. It is just made that up. Yeah,
it's really good. Hey, just looking through some of the
text that it comes through here. Someone needs a garden
bed built. Ah, a garden bed. You don't want to
sleep in the garden because you'll find you get rained
on inside. Brother, that's just a word to the wise.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
That sounds like the sort of thing I could do.

Speaker 5 (42:14):
What build a bed?

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Well, yeah, because you know I love the gardens my
timates and I very much missed, you know, my little
garden actually, so you know I could whack that up
for them if they needed.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
It, like a boxed sort of boxed pets.

Speaker 5 (42:29):
Yes, I don't think you could do that.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
It's called a raised garden.

Speaker 5 (42:34):
Raised garden, so not a bed like a sleeping Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
Yeah, yeah, it's actually very easy, moggie. I've actually done
that in my own house. Just need a couple of
corner posts. Then you get your planks and wood and
just smack them onto the corner post there.

Speaker 5 (42:47):
I'm worried about you trying to dig holes for the
posts for you. You get a man over.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
It's got a point at end, and you just bang
them into the ground.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
Yeah, but I'm worried about your hand eye coordination.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Oh yeah, that's fair.

Speaker 5 (43:00):
I don't think you could build that, thank you describing.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
I did exactly that at my house.

Speaker 5 (43:04):
Yeah, then what states are doing there?

Speaker 3 (43:06):
Yeah it's better overgrown now, but that's because Hardy J's
not there.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
All the pigs have fallen out straight away. Someone else
here needs a garden she had built.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Oh you see, that's something I could do with a garden,
that's true.

Speaker 5 (43:19):
How would you start? What would you do to start?

Speaker 3 (43:20):
How I'm staying a couple of steaks in the ground.
Get some corrugated iron, yeah, and nail those onto the steaks,
so you know, I put a roof on the top
of it. And then boom, you got your door, and
so you can put a padlock on it as well.
Because there's thieven bastards around kids, you gonna be careful totally.

Speaker 12 (43:38):
Man.

Speaker 5 (43:38):
You might want to put some w D four on
the door. No, I don't, because I leave that on
there in case those thieven bastards came and I can
hear them because it.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
Goes, uh, someone here needs some love shown to them.

Speaker 5 (43:54):
For a thousand bass hard to do that. You'll do
that for a thousand Mogi round.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
Would really love to have our laundry painted. Hasn't been
done for thirty plus a year.

Speaker 5 (44:03):
You don't want to paint your clothes, man, because you
can't wear them. You can't wear them after that they're
covered and paint. No, they mean the laundry area, the
room with the wash never mind, you can do that.
You've done heaps of painting because you remember when you
touched up your house you had to paint over all
the don't touch anything, the holes in the bog and
all that I've You guys got.

Speaker 4 (44:23):
This new thing about going on like I'm covering up
heaps of stuff with my house.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
My house is amazing, thank you. Oh Jase, maybe this
could be all mowgi. Maybe someone needs a new mixer
installed in my shower. A new mixer, new mixer, Yeah,
what it me?

Speaker 2 (44:39):
I could do that, There'd be no worries. Yeah, yeah,
I whacked one in there.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
How do you do it skillfully?

Speaker 5 (44:46):
Yeah? A little bit of elbow grease, Jase.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
But of hard yack.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
Yeah, I'm afraid of a bit of hard jacket. Keys
with a number eight chucking a mixer there, boom, A
little bit.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
Of this, a little bit of that. Bob's your uncle.
It is very vague. Part of me thinks that you
guys don't even know what a mixer is, and you're
picturing like a cake masit keysy, underestimated old Moogi and hood.
Well what is it then? To Keezy?

Speaker 2 (45:07):
I don't have time to explain it now.

Speaker 5 (45:09):
Keezy, No, I'll just say a few words. What little
Keyzy over there pushing his buttons.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy.

Speaker 5 (45:19):
Tune in on Radio.

Speaker 3 (45:22):
Guns Rose is there on the Darky Big Show this
Thursday evening. The time is six thirty six. Fellas you
up for a bit of sport chair.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
Sports che.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
Big news, go on Big News on the cricket front.
Stephen Fleming, ex Black Cap, obviously skipper, ex skipper of
the Black Caps, has just been appointed the English cricket coach.

Speaker 5 (45:57):
Wow, which is pretty amazing.

Speaker 2 (45:59):
Actually, now, well, I'm going to be honest.

Speaker 3 (46:01):
I don't know much about Stephen Fleming's coaching career. I
know he does a lot of TEA twenty and so forth.
What I do know about Stephen Fleming was that he
was a very astute captain. Ye had a very calm demeanor,
was very well spoken. So I'm picking it brings all
of those qualities to the English role. And they love

(46:23):
the kiwis over in England, it would seem.

Speaker 5 (46:25):
Well they might love him, they don't love the last one.
I was over in Australia when New Zealand tour over there.
I remember seeing a double page spread on Stephen Fleming
over there, and the Australians absolutely loved Stephen fleet They did. Yeah,
so yeah, he may well be a very good coach,
pretty clued up sort of a fellow. I hope he's
better at coaching than he was at turning fifties into hundreds.

(46:47):
Good got him. But all the best to him, all
the best And it's great to see Keiwi's on the
at the very very top level there make you the
big back. So maybe one day, one day, once he've
made the big money, they'll come back and coach house.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
Just on that, by the way, because yeah, Stephen Fleming
was known for that, not turning his fifties into hundreds,
And I remember Steve Wore talking about that and saying,
but he's got a phenomenal record. Yes, you know what
I mean. He's still an incredible play fifties. Very very
frustrating though for him because he was quality. Hey, should
we do a bit of calm games.

Speaker 5 (47:22):
On your marks? Gets it go?

Speaker 2 (47:24):
Scott? Really are not here?

Speaker 7 (47:26):
I come?

Speaker 2 (47:27):
Oh rush, take your head.

Speaker 5 (47:29):
It's not fear duck duck goose marble? What's on the
Commonwealth games with me? Kizy?

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Can I ask easy before you get into it? I'm
sorry but I just need to know because I don't
know genuinely.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
What is Duck Duck Goose.

Speaker 5 (47:47):
Oh, it's a game, yeah, where you'll sit in the circle.

Speaker 4 (47:50):
I think it's on the coverage tonight actually, And basically
one person's it and they walk around tapping people on
the shoulder Duck duck duck And when they hit someone,
say goose, they then have to run around a complete
a full thing of the circle and back through the
gap and back into the middle, whilst the person who's
Goose is chasing them and if they tag them, they
become the.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
It's a real unfair advantage for the for the for
the original good. The person who's the old goose, the
old Goosey is on?

Speaker 2 (48:18):
Yes? Is that on tonight? Did you say?

Speaker 5 (48:19):
I think it's tonight or tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (48:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (48:21):
Cool light us update in terms of Team New Zealand,
of course you had Zoey Hobbs and Old Clear Burton
the pool they're getting the only gold so far we've
got three golds. But a hell of a hacker as well,
Paul Side as well. My favorite My favorite hacker is
a pool side hacker.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
That's probably wasn't my favorite of all the hackers I've seen.
But overnight we did get a three on three basketball
bronze medal.

Speaker 5 (48:46):
Oh wow, we came third and that was the women nice,
which is pretty cool. Yes, that is pretty cool. What
else you got? Sorry?

Speaker 3 (48:55):
Over three on three basketball bronze?

Speaker 5 (48:59):
What?

Speaker 2 (49:01):
Okay? Cool?

Speaker 5 (49:04):
Whoa?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
It's good? It's good?

Speaker 5 (49:06):
Is it? Sure doesn't seem like it overnight? Actually something
else happened. Leaclure chad Leclere from South Asrira. Are you
thinking of Troy McLear from The Simpson.

Speaker 4 (49:17):
No, I'm pretty sure I'm talking about Chad Leclere from
South Africa became the most decorated all time Commonwealth Games
athlete with twenty one medals.

Speaker 5 (49:25):
No, that doesn't interest me at all.

Speaker 4 (49:27):
Oh well, actually, also Troy McClure from The Simpsons. Yeah,
he got a silver in the balance beam.

Speaker 5 (49:35):
Can I ask a question? I was out there earlier
on in the outer office, the accazy end there was
a female New Zealand weightlifter. How did she go? She
was absolutely thrilled and it brought me great joy to
see you this thrilled. I'm hoping that she won a
meddle of some kind, because I don't tend to show
any replayers if people didn't, Yeah, I think she won

(49:55):
a middle of something. Okay, cool man, that's a great
update from you. I've just looked through and no she didn't. No, yes,
sweet hey just beg to Steven Fleming there for a minute.
And that's awesome, bro, thank you. Forty six fifties in
eight hundreds. Yeah, eight hundreds, I mean that's still great.
Nine hundred and forty six fifties and tests in eight

(50:17):
hundreds and forty nine fifties and Odi eyes.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
Yeah, not a good conversion rate, but amazing Blas and
all the best for him. I'm really looking forward to
see to seeing the new England.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
Side and how they're going to play the game.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
The whole achy Big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy

Speaker 3 (50:43):

show done and dust it for your Thursday and the

Speaker 2 (50:52):
Of stuff as usual. But what's the clip you've got there, Kizi.

Speaker 5 (50:57):
This clip is entitled Washed and I don't really remember
what it's about, but it comes out at seven thirty tonight.
Just to Chucky Big Show wherever you get your podcasts from.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
I think you know that I am a very humble Skuts.

Speaker 5 (51:10):
There's one person I know who's not a humble Skut,
a number one. That's what's interesting.

Speaker 4 (51:17):
I've acted with some of the best people, you know,
the biggest names in k WE TV.

Speaker 5 (51:20):
I think he was because they've gone on to be successful.
Ya has sort of been left in their du Yeah, but.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
In the world, just a second rate DJ at a
rock station.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
Yeah, that's me. No third rate.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
Third rate, you know, just just ticking the box, just
ticking the boxes.

Speaker 5 (51:47):
You are washed. I'm nail.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Mogi.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
Probably an early night for you, but I mean it
doesn't matter. It doesn't because you're going to be woken
up anyway.

Speaker 5 (51:59):
I am. The only thing I can think to do
really is in the the Trouble Ahead last night, because
what I do is I use my one of my arms,
I put it over my ear and I use that
as an ear muff that blocks YE sound coming. And
I put my other ear on the pillows so that works.
But it's so cold in my bedroom and I got
a frozen arm last night, so I couldn't do that. Yes,

(52:20):
there's really cold bastard last night. Have you ever googled
like sleep ear muffs like both the headband ones? I have, Yes, well,
and I'm probably gonna have to get them, and I'll
seeing the ill seend the invoice to Wayne Brown. Actually
we should get why don't we get Wayne Brown?

Speaker 3 (52:34):

for a yarn and just explain himself the mirror of
Auckland met why not?

Speaker 3 (52:42):
Don't give me started on the CBD exactly, but we
could have a little bit of stinkhole chat with me,
old mate Wayne Brown, I reckon it be frothing it.

Speaker 5 (52:50):
He be frothen it.

Speaker 4 (52:51):
And so just write a note tomorrow pugs on the planet,
Wayne Brown, stinkhole.

Speaker 5 (52:57):
And just yeah, yeah. So anyway, I'll try and sleep,
but I have got a couple of normal ear plug thinging,
so I have to give those a round.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
But I'm bagging man gee would yeah, casy.

Speaker 4 (53:09):
