That's made me feel hung over here.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah yeah, Reallylanve you for that. Man, Well, I'd never
pickt making because you're looking as hot as mine. You're
wearing a hodaki what you call that swany? Yeah, it's
not that cold, man.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
It was so mean. It's fine for you to say that, Jason,
because you've got that busy hugging Marino long sleeve top
with the hood on. Yeah, now that gives you an
unfair advantage for me to get that kind of warmth.
And I just noticed now in this light. Actually, I
can see one of your nipples extremely clearly kill everyone
well our left but his right, that one there, Yeah, Jesus,
(01:20):
it's one of the great nipples, one of the all
time great nipples.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Well, you know, even though it is Marino, I am
still feeling the cold and thus, yes, the protuberant nipple.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Do you can pound for pound the big show to
have the best nipples and radio.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I don't think other people's talk about the nipples as
much as we do, or as much as they should.
Actually we don't get I've got very small nipples, right, okay,
I've got nipples sort of about the same size as
a as a breastfeeding mother kitten cat.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Sorry, right, good stuff, whereas yours, jes yours are massive. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Good to be here, fellas. Another Monday, beautiful day.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Wow, so it was a beautiful day this morning. She's
a bit sort of overcast and chilly.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Now, yeah, yeah we are, but we don't know what
it's like in the rest of the world.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Oh it's true.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yeah, beautiful day somewhere, Jason, Yeah, true.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Man.
Speaker 3 (02:19):

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah, man, what a surprise that was.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
And UFC twot fifty which is happening today at the.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
White House, and chouting to Charlie Garb as well about
the wast.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, the Gabinator. He'll be up this hour and next.
Keezy has got a bone to pick with the listeners.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
With the hadarky audience, fellas, I'm not happy.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
All right, I'm looking forward to this, Yes, how am
I mate? In the meantime, here's the Kaiser Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarky's.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Indeed sound Garden There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
this Monday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past four o'clock.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Fellas, I've got a bone to pick with the listeners.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I got a bone a bit with the listeners with
the Is that a new segment?
Speaker 3 (03:47):
No, no, it's just the specific bone to pick is
with the Hdarcky listeners.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yeah, because usually you've got a bone to pick with me.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
No, no, No, You're you're sweet this time, Jason. Finally
you stand down, mate. You're doing a great job, are you.
Guys from ear with the incredibly highly regarded and long
standing media publication Women's Day. Now they have a Facebook page,
do they? And they upload photos and sneak peaks of
(04:16):
upcoming articles. Right, so there's one coming coming out soon.
Rosie Leishman, journalist shares why she's following in her famous
dad's footsteps. Photo photo of her and her father at
forty three likes.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Who's your father?
Speaker 3 (04:28):
One comment, I'm guessing Philip, Philip Leo Philip.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
And then there's a photo of Merely Kerr from the
White bravely shares her mental health Journey one hundred and
eighty five likes, sex comments. Then you scroll down a
bit further, a bit further, and then there's a photo
of Keesy and his wife talking about you know, the
(04:53):
hot romance. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, four hundred and fifty
six likes, one hundred and thirteen comments.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Every single one of these comments.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
One by one.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
And so I don't regularly use Facebook, and usually if
there's a comment roast going on, it's an Instagram, it's
I'm across it the Woman's Day and I'm not saying
to start one there as well. But the post on
Instagram for Women's Day, one comment saying we look lovely,
The comment siction on the Facebook page of Women's Day
is just an absolute blood bath because I was really
(05:25):
worried because my wife, you know, she doesn't like being
in the public eye fair enough, and so I was
actually genuinely worried, like, oh, I hope she doesn't get
any online bullying or anything like that happening. But the
good news is no one's saying anything about her.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah good, apart from the fact that she looks beautiful.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, this is the old there's the old comment like,
oh beautiful couple. Yeah, so I'll just start reading out
random comments. Okay, what's on the woman's day with me?
Keysy one hundred and twenty four likes. My wife just
misses saying Phil Leishman's dead. By the way, Josh Castle,
is that hoodie J's nephew? Two hundred it likes. Okay,
(06:02):
smart move to only show one ear Ah it's from Matt.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Because I've sort of got sort of turned your head
to the side.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Yeah, yeah, nice two hundred and six likes, which is
dangerous because then you short of profile your honker.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Matt Corbett. He looks steamed. One hundred and fifteen like, yeah,
Stephanie says, Poper tram mean, get on these Pepperoni's babe,
twenty likes.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Now, you've got to think at this stage Woman's day
of they've worken up in the morning there, they've had
a look at all the comments and everything. Jesus is
going off, Chris keen to have a look at this
is and all you get is Trammy chat, big nips chat,
massive honker chat chat. I don't think they knew what
they're in for.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
That was my exact thought when brought it up. I
wonder what Woman's Day is making of all this stuff?
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Tony Wilson any shots of the meat patties one hundred
and thirty eight Joe where it says smiling like he
just did a big keasy before the photoshop. James says,
biggest nips in the game. Anthony says, did he do
the interview on all fours? Looking back over his shoulder.
(07:17):
Hell good, Mike says, the biggest wit blanket on radio?
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Yeah, I just ignore that one.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Just take all the other ones on board.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
Thomas says, keesy looks like he's just in a massive
midnight steamer. It's just and then the rest of people
tagging their mates go get around these comments. So it
is an absolute shambles. But I must say I was
very worried, as I said, you know about you know,
myself and my partner being volnies publication like Woman's Day,
(07:51):
But the the listeners have made it well worth it.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I would genuinely love to know how Woman's Day is
taking all this.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Especially when they can they read this comment. They don't
understand the comment from Gary how I beat monkey porn
by me keezy. There have no idea what that even means.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Oh so good.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
To be honest, it's actually a shout out to the
Hodarkey listeners, very very very funny reading.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yes, good stuff. Hey, here's the Killers.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
in week days at four on Radio hod.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Ichs and d super Groove. There on the Radio Hodarchy
Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty five
minutes past four o'clock. Fellow's got a question for you,
genuine question, and it's one we've kind of touched on
briefly before, and it's to do with inheritance. Now, my
wife and I the place that we've moved until we
have a little storage locker, and we were going through
(08:49):
that in the weekend and we came across stuff that
we had inherited, like from my wife's point of view,
from a great auntie for example, silver teapots and stuff
like that, stuff that I inherited from my grandparents and parents.
And the reality is it's for a start in a
storage locker which tells you its own story. And we
(09:11):
were saying to ourselves and asking ourselves the question, what's
the story here? Yeah? I mean, is it okay when
you've been given these things from your grandparents or whatever.
To sell it off. Now, my reasoning is, I mean,
I know that there's all sorts of emotional connections, and
you know, it may help you to remember that and
that scenario, remember those people in that scenario. I sort
(09:34):
of get it. But when you're never going to use them,
when they're just in storage, or they might not be
a cup of tea if you like you know what
I mean, I don't really like it. It's pretty ugly
and it's never going to be in the house. Isn't
it better to sell it off? Sure you get a
couple of bucks extra bucks, but maybe someone's using it.
(09:55):
Maybe someone would love that and actually it would be
become a part of their life.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Is that where you keep the that framed scorecard from
the Worldtiest Championship that I gave you.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Moggie, That is pride of place in the bog? Is it?
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Is it actually in this because you spend quite a
lot of money on that as a gift.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
For money, Yeah, framed storage.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
As I explained to you, Moggie, that was my wife,
not me.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Oh yeah, no, I understand, But yeah, I completely get
where you're coming from. Obviously, Mum, my mum, Marge has
just moved into a retirement village, not a retirement home,
I want to be quite clear about the village. But
she's downside. So a whole bunch of stuff has arrived
at at my place, and it's God, there's some real
emotional connections that you have to things, but as you say,
(10:42):
a lot of it's it's a bit dated. Yes, some
of the things that you've got some Royal Dalton, like
a Royal Dalton, full Royal Dalton dinner set, all the
plates and all these sorts of things, but it's got
all this floral sort of painting on top of it.
So well, when am I gonna When am I going
to use that?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Exactly?
Speaker 4 (11:01):
So it sort of feels like, yes, I guess you
offer it to your children first, maybe they would like
those things, and that gets it out of your out
of your storage unit.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Yes, or yeah, you can sell it. Yeah, well you're
speaking of Royal Dalton. That's worth a few barb mate.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Well it is, man, and it's worth more to be
solved and sold than it is with any kind of
sentimental value. Sentimental value. I prefer financial value, monetary value.
Sentimental value fine, but.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Also genuinely it is that thing of Well, actually, there'll
be some people out there that would love this sort
of stuff, like you know, like duck plate, duck plate,
you know, plates with ducks on them. And then your
wife by all of those, Oh, she's got some that
were my wife didn't buy them. A friend of ours
brought them for my wife.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Because she loves duck plate.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Yeah, because she loves duck plates. But often, as you say, Mogi,
it's alf you know, like I got some stuff from
my granded tools because he was a carpenter. What's already
j going to do with those? And there really old school,
old school a lot of them, and they might be
really valuable to someone else, you know what I mean?
And I mean, is it terrible that I would sell
(12:10):
them off and get a few bucks here and there
and someone makes use of them.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
You said the silver teapot, is it real silver?
Speaker 2 (12:17):
I think it is. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Melt it down, make a ring.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Turn it into a bar maybe, like.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Yeah, or make it like a ring or something that
you could actually still have on you, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yeahs ring thing. I don't want to melted down teapot
as a key, as a ring on my finger.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
That would be a suggestion in the issue too, is
like what are you going to leave behind?
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Yeah, your boys trip hat?
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Yes, Like what I'm going to leave behind is huge wealth,
huge financial sort of comfort.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
At a full library, a very questionable, questionable radio content
which is all going to be available online.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Yeah, totally, man. But I want to know what the
audience thinks about this on three four eight three, because
I'm genuine about this, because there is that part of
me that goes, oh no, you can't do that.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
You get a bit of a guilt trip blade on you,
don't you because regardless being of value to somebody else,
and it seemed to be the value, but really it's
just it's just another box of shit.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
It is. Yes, that's true.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
You'd be happy to know OJ's three people of text
and ask you if they can have the duck plates
three eight three. If you'd like any of this stuff.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
I should start an online option.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Do you know how to do that?
Speaker 6 (13:30):
No?
Speaker 1 (13:31):
The Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
In four on radio is indeed Metallica there on the
radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon. Now that, of course,
there was a bit of rugby league action over the weekend.
With that in mind, we've got our own resident rugby
league legend on the line with us. Charlie. Good it, Charlie,
you mad barstard? How's life Hoidy jazz?
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Life is good.
Speaker 6 (13:55):
I'm a bit disorientated enough to listen to that heavy metal.
I was hoping for some Chili Peppers or some kings
of Leon. Wow.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Yeah, maybe it's missing with your head so much that
you started jumping on competitors radio stations. Man, what's it
all about? And what I've seen you on other radio stations. Charlie,
what the hell's going on?
Speaker 5 (14:16):
That's not the real meat. You've got the real meat
here right now?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
All right?
Speaker 6 (14:20):
Might not allowed to be two faced?
Speaker 2 (14:22):
No mate, you can't now listen Charlie two it's mogie.
Put them two good solid losses from the Fells. Are
your thoughts on the game over the weekend.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
I think it was.
Speaker 6 (14:38):
Still a brave performance, Hoodie. I feel like we didn't
play well and attack defense was very good. We didn't
really let them score, you know, for the last sixty.
But it was just a real strange game like you do.
You don't see those sort of games anymore from from
class teams where it's such so low scoring. But we
were very inexperience off the bench, and I thought that
(15:00):
showed in the end when it was a close game
on Charlie.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
It was, it was.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
It was a tough watch for me for some reason.
I was watching that game the whole time. I was like,
oh man, this is It wasn't as enjoyable as a
Warriors game usually is, perhaps because of the inexperience and
stuff out there, but also, you know, despite the inexperience,
the Sharks are a very very potent, potent offensive side.
As you said, we kept them to just one try,
and then it took a moment or two moments of
(15:27):
absolute brilliance for them to win the game. It took
their fullback charging down and somehow catching the ball all
be ridiculous, well, Kennedy, and then they're five eighth slotting
a forty plus meter you know, field goal. Surely, those
young fellers, especially guys like Tennis hours Smith, they could
take a lot of sort of pride from the fact
that they managed to do that right.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Right, right right right. Tennisal Smith is the man, and
the whole team is the men. But we just I
don't know. We we did get a little bit dominated
in that game, like it was hard to get momentum.
Even our backs weren't carrying it, like they were caring hard.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
But shuts were up and like you said, they're a
good side.
Speaker 6 (16:10):
They came over and we've had it pretty pretty easy
as Warriors fans the last few months. So it's just, yeah,
it's a bit uneasy losing, but at the same time,
it's the NRL and we're we're st or second on
the ladder.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
It feels like this time last year, if we had
the kid mate the same players missing, we would have
got belted by twenty. So I enjoyed it. I enjoyed
the arm rectal nature of it. But I think you're right,
it felt like we were always sort of under the
gun and try and trying to get out of our end.
And I think it sort of points to the loss
of Roger at two of us a sheik where we're losing,
we've lost a bit of size in that back five.
(16:45):
We got Teapecky Camperrera and all of those guys sort
of get they don't make the big meters coming out
the back end.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
There no you're right, they're not as good as at
the tough carriers to get momentum them. But yeah, I
think what it boils down to, Mogi Sharks were better
on the night they were men. We didn't put our
best performance in, but it was still all effort. We
put our best effort in and we just missed the market.
But there's nothing to worry about. We're going to be
(17:16):
back on this week. We got We've got the Cowboys,
cow Boys, mate Cowboys. After that down and christ and
exactly right, I mean it's we held them score. It's
the only reason those scored is because we got penalized
from a bit of a weird thing from the refere
He penalized us after telling us we had five seconds
left to do a dropout and then yeah, we got
penalis So that was two points. And then dw z
(17:36):
brain explosion led to a try. Yeah, that's right, and
that probably came from us not getting out of our half.
So well, you know, dw look for a bit of
a short cut and offload. If it went a hand
that would have worked. It didn't.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
They skilled on the back of it and that was
the only try they got.
Speaker 6 (17:51):
But Gabby, we had opportunity to hang on Hoidy. When
you hear two scond paus inn you talk. So we
had we had so hang on Rabuttals. We had opportunities
to win at Hoidy. Somighty Martin got charged down. We
fumbled a little bit on the corner, which was a
(18:12):
half opportunity, but you know that's forty hody.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Now this brings me to my very point, and it
was on the chat live while we were watching the game.
In those last few minutes, we got the penalty right
on their trial line. We decided to take the kick,
and I was saying, kick for the corner. Beck yourselves
to score because I had a terrible feeling that they
were going to miss the kick. Championship teams, Gubby take
(18:39):
those opportunities, they back themselves and they score.
Speaker 6 (18:44):
Yes, you're You're right, and I'm pretty sure we're going
to learn from that one. So next next time, when
it's the championship rounds, we'll be winning and they'll be
going hood.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
He told us about that.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
Yeah, totally, man, you're a genius Jason. Before we let
you go there, Charlie, who is your porter king play
of the round mate?
Speaker 4 (19:02):
It wasn't it?
Speaker 6 (19:03):
Wasn't a player. It was a new restaurant out West
west Auckland. I was up there mother in law's birthday.
It's called West Banquet Buffet and it was it was
ten out of ten.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
How good.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
I never heard of that place. I lived there for
fifty years.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
It's shocking. Hey, what about you, brother? What about Fuller Man?
Speaker 6 (19:21):
Just briefly, Oh yeah, he's the man, he's the other
He was runner up.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Yeah, yeah he was.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
If he was working the tables at the banquet he
would have got it.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Yeah, good stuff. Hey Gabby, Sorry mate, it's a song playing,
so we're going to have to cut you off.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
Big shout out to Charlie Gubb. If you need a
portaloo you're in the Wellington area, make sure you hit
up Uncle Charlie at Porter King. Thanks Charlie.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
See a Fellows for the Hidarchy Big Show week days
from four on Radio Hodarky.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Indeed Lincoln Park. There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
this Monday afternoon, Net's Talk TV. What's on the Telly
with Mike Minogue? Yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
On Saturday night there fellers watch Marty Supreme. Oh yes,
MADEI Supreme. Timothy Shammalama Ding Dong and that one there
and there, got about halfway through it and went to bed.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Must be good. It's all right, do you watch the
end of it?
Speaker 4 (20:21):
Yeah, okay, I'll get there. But yeah, I wasn't blowing away.
I was really looking forward to it because I'd managed
to avoid knowing anything about it during all the Oscar
runs and all that sort of stuff. It's a bit
a bit of a weird one because you've got the
main guy, Mardy Supreme, who's he's run into his ping
pong he wants to be the world champion of ping
pong back in the day there. Yeah, and he's a
(20:44):
massive decade he is, and he's completely unlikable. I'm assuming
at some point he might get likable, but and so
it's a weird thing to watch when you're not.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Rooting for him at all. Yeah, Dragons, he's a complete idiot.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Like we're just watching it again and yes, noms all, Yeah,
it's not funny. He's like he's kind of like what
you think Timothy Shallon and May would be like in
real life. Yes, but anyway, if you like that sort
of thing, get along. I watched it on Apple for
eight bucks. But yeah, two busies out of possible five.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Personally, I know exactly the point you're making. He's not
a likable character at all. I enjoyed it though, But yeah,
I watched Geeka, Oh nice.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
Hawk.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Yes, actually where they fell in love. They fell in
love on the set.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Written and directed by New Zealander Andrew Nicol.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Yes, I've never heard of it.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Vincent, a genetically inferior man who always aspired to travel
in space, assumes the identity of a paraplegic in order
to accomplish his goal. It's in a world where you
can be genetically modified or choose not to, and his parents, man,
I don't want I don't want to do that. And
so when you're born, they have a redoubt and it's like, oh,
there's a ninety nine percent changing and they have heart
(22:04):
defex you're public. Your your predicted death is around thirty
two years of age. And so but anyway, it's he
was so determined to become to fly into space, and
it's a story around that. It was a controversial film
in the sense that because it's a big sort of
sci fi blockbuster. I think it costs like thirty odd
million to make, and it was a big flop. And
(22:25):
the reason it was a big flop because it wasn't
any sort of action scenes really, you know, there wasn't
the big explosions in space action. But I actually really
enjoyed it as a film, as a sort of psychological film.
But yeah, look, I'll give it a good solid three
point two Bozzieszzies.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
How many bozzies are there on the Bozzi? Yeah, I
watched some stuff and I'll talk about it tomorrow because
the're running out of time, are your feelers? But after
five o'clock, Yeah, we've got some serious show Edmund to discuss.
We've got to revisit Come Dine with Me? Yes, okay,
So we'll get into that Edmond. After Beautiful.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio hod I.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Welcome back to your massive backbones. Hope you're getting through
your Monday tickety boo. You're listening to the Big Show,
by the way, brought.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
To you by Reboogear, handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet
eas that will change the game. Yeah, totally, fellas so good.
Coming up next, we're going to be discussing Come Dine
with Me, yes. Now, we sort of toyed with this
idea a couple of was it a couple of months ago, Jason?
(23:37):
Three months ago, two or three year? It's been a while, Moki.
You're addicted to the TV show for a while.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
There my one five star review of the year, the
British TV show Come Dine with Me. We're a group
of people get together. They go around for dinner at
each other's houses over the course of a week, and
they give each other a rating to come up with
a winner at the end of the weekend. That win
a thousand pounds, which is very very so.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Jace just so happened to be hosting a dinner at
his new apartment, right, and then we were like, well,
let's turn this into a mini Come Dine with Me.
Very successful, a lot of chat out of it.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Why not if you read the scores, it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Well, it's not my fault. You got a sex out
of ten mate, Well, I mean it kind of is
my fault, but because I gave you the rating, but
it was your fault, sure, you know what I mean.
But that now bigs the question who's hosting the next one?
How's it going to work? What's it going to look
like because we need to do this legit, yes, properly.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Yeah, I totally agree. And just as a sort of outside,
sort of periphery to that whole argument. You know, technically
I wasn't told it was to come dine with me?
So do I get another opportunity. We'll get into it
all of that next though, one hundred.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
You can have as many opportunities as you want.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Jason, And I'm well embedded in my new place now,
whereas I'd only just moved in then she was a
bit ten years Oh, I.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Can feel a seven potential seven coming on.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Here's Lincoln partner.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, tune in.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Yes, indeed, we are there on the radio Hodaki Big
Show this Monday evening. The time is five thirteen, and
we're wanting to reset the table fellas on our come
Dine with Me competition.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
See what you've done there, man, Come dine with.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
The feelings, And the idea of it basically is by
a sort of based on the program where we each
host an evening at our place, we cooked the meals,
the fellows come over, and we give each other a score.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yes, so in the TV show I've not watched a
lot of it. Is it like an entre main? Is
it every single time?
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Plus entertainment plus entertainment. You don't have to do the entertainment.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
But do people like in the TV show, do they
try and like learn how to juggle and really lame
stuff like that?
Speaker 4 (25:46):
Now they've ever either got a natural talent or they
might get in a singer or you know, a guy
on a piano or something. You notice something something. I've
seen pole dancers and all sorts of different stuff.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
And often too the ones i've seen, they'll have a theme,
you know what I mean? Going on?
Speaker 4 (26:07):
You'll have sort of people come along keezy style and
sort of trying sabotage things like what is this? It's
a it's a did you make the pastry? Or did
you buy the pastry? All this sort of stuff, Oh,
are you going.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
To put this in that glass?
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Okay, okay, sorry, serving red wine and tumblers deserves to
get you knocked down a peg in the ratings.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
And perfectly normal, perfectly normal.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yeah, well, so here's the thing I did the first one,
and in fairness to me, it wasn't even a we
hadn't even really started to come dine with me.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
You became come down with me after it was Now
to be clear, Keyzy myself and Pegs Wien you it
has come down with me, but it was a surprise
for you. So you're on sex points.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Yeah, Well I.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Gave you a sex out of ten? What did you
give them?
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Eight? Probably an eight?
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Yeah, and I gave.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
A seven because I needed to have room to move
for everybody else. Maybe it was an eight.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
You were an eight and Pegs was an eight. Keysy
was a set.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
So you add those together, it's twenty two out of
a possible thirty. Yeah, and that was your partner as
well involved.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Yes, indeed it was. So we're here again and we
want to reboot it into life, probably properly. And the
decision we need to make is who's next on the list? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (27:21):
And also so well, I think we might have to
draw names out of a head or something. Do you
do you want your name to be in there? Do
you count that first? Come down with me? Or do
you want to start again? Clean slate?
Speaker 6 (27:30):
No?
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Six out of ten?
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Start again?
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Start again?
Speaker 3 (27:34):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
You can do better than that, absolutely, because.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
The risk of getting a five out of ten is
definitely there.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
Yeah, absolutely, I am, because you had practically nothing to
do with any of the food the first time around. Jason,
do you think it's cost you because you've never rated
your wife's cooking?
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Oh? Look, I rate it very very high as well.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
You know, Can I just remind you that I brought
a large portion of the entree and brought the bread
which everyone ended up having the meat balls on, and
so you know, I was partially involved.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
You were more involved in the then Jace was exactly
So yeah, yeah, definitely, I'll give it another crack.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Imagine if imagine if we put the names in the hat,
draw it out, it's Jass. We do it again at
his house, and then we just kind of lose fers
around the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
And also, also the weird thing was that only just
moved into my apartment. We were there for fifteen minutes
and we already had a complaint from the neighbor underneath.
So I was a bit tense. You were a bit
more tense than I would normally be because it was like, fowlers,
can you keep it down a bit, especially when my
wife started telling lies and you guys found that hilarious. Yeah,
(28:39):
so how do we want to do game to do
it next?
Speaker 3 (28:42):
I think the hat pure and we'll all plead our
case because I know each of us kind of doesn't
want to host this first one for various reasons, which
we'll get into next. Do you reckon if you host
another one? Jason'll just as your wife says, all right,
you know what seconds you'll get up and clear everyone's
plates and they can't have them.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Well, I like a tidy house mate, geezy, yeah, fair enough,
especially the way you were slopping around the meatballs all
over the bloody.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
I was sawping the meatballs on the couch.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
These queens are the sonate.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
The Hllarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodar.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Is Pearl Jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
this Monday afternoon. The time is five twenty six, and
we're discussing come Dine with Me.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
Come Dine with.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
The Feelings, which is a competition. We sort of started
that one. I mean it's based on a TV show
where each of the fellas here has all the other
fellows and their partners over for dinner and we give
each other a score.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
That's right right, that's a pretty direct rip off from
the TV.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Very direct.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
We've even named it after the TV show Pug Soun's
also here.
Speaker 7 (29:57):
Didn't know who're having a handsome club and here feelings
has been nice to see it.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
I've marked you down already on your first one.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Can I just say just quietly and I want to
say it out loud?
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
I personally think Puksan is a big favorite for this.
He's he's a shift magnifique.
Speaker 4 (30:24):
Sure, and I think the food will be great.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Yes. Hey, So what we've decided to do is I'm
going to chuck my hat back in the ring because
I felt I wasn't given fair chance there. I didn't
realize it was a come down with me thing. It
was just a fellows for dinner, all right. So we're
going to check it back in there.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Now before we before we do this draw, I've written
four names down on pieces of paper. I've put them
in Jason's Boy's trip hat.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Yeah, which is great?
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Is that Reacan names that it does reek Now it
smells that real cream.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
It'll have a bit of there'll be a few knits
in there as well. Actually, just be careful.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
Now, just quickly, pretty much all of us don't want
to host this first one.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
So, Maggie, you.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Use a strong chance your wife might not be here.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
I've just got stuff on, man, Okay, I just got stuff.
I'm just very very busy. That's it. That's it.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
What about you, Keezy?
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Well, I'm about to move house. Yeah, so to host
a big dinner party in my house as I'm trying
to sort of like half packed, I don't know away
it'll be a bit of a pain in the ass,
you know what I mean? Yes, Pugs, why don't you
want to host the first one?
Speaker 7 (31:26):
I'm just really busy, man. And also very recently hosted
a dinner party and it was like got to have
a cool down period after that?
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Was it?
Speaker 4 (31:33):
On the weekend? Just being yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:35):
But also, isn't your house it's like a one bedroom,
tiny apartment thing.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Yeah, but that's not going to change by the time
you're ready make it? Is box his house? Still a
night for you guys.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
It's pretty small, though, isn't it. Yeah, it's pretty it's
pretty small.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Yeah. I don't know what's wrong with you, fellows. I'm
fizzing at the prospect.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Yeah, because Jason, you've got a massive new apartment and
not a lot on so it's perfect for you. And
you've had a practice run and you've had a practice yeah,
you have true.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
So I've put all the names in a hat. I'm
touching it. It's like it's damp inside the hat as well. Right, okay,
it's good for you in your hat, all right?
Speaker 2 (32:18):
All right? So packing one randomly out of the hat?
Speaker 3 (32:21):
Yeah, just one, the little to just grab one and
then unfold it. I'll play the drum roll.
Speaker 4 (32:25):
You're ready?
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
The host of the first come dine with Me is.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
Right excellent? So the first one?
Speaker 3 (32:41):
How good?
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yeah? Man, that's great.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
I'm off the hook. So what are we thinking at
some point in the next three weeks?
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Will were not just draw them all out?
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Now?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Are we going to do it?
Speaker 6 (32:49):
No?
Speaker 7 (32:49):
I think each time based on the names that are left.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
All right, beauty, Well, my wife's got no idea any
of this is going on, so she's going to be thrilled.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Good right?
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Well is it tonight?
Speaker 7 (33:02):

Speaker 2 (33:21):
And we don't want good people going to this competition.
We want people that are going to just make an
absolute spectacle of it.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
The most undeserved winner is what we're aiming for.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, totally for my fellers.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Hey, yeah, just just because obviously we hate breakfast.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
Well, it's just born out of jealousy. Really, Yeah, they
get to go on this cool trip and we don't.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
And to be fair kesy, they tried to booby trap us.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
Do they take booby trappers?
Speaker 2 (33:45):
They remember when we were had our competition for Magic Round,
they were trying to get real pieces of work to
win it.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Yes, so let's do the same to them. Yeah, totally
booby trap them.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Booby trap this.
Speaker 3 (33:58):

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Okay? What a copy there? What a copycam man?
Speaker 2 (34:51):

Speaker 4 (34:51):

Speaker 2 (34:53):

Speaker 2 (34:55):

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Hey, you big greed. How was white cuts on today?
Speaker 2 (34:59):

Speaker 3 (34:59):
Was a beautiful Oh yeah, few shows, but it doesn't.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
That's why they're going to be all right. If you
go over and watch this game of buck League and
go to the races and that the cow is going
to miss you.
Speaker 7 (35:12):
Man.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
Oh, they're just going to have to be right, aren't they.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (35:16):
The spirit man and tree to me and Keevin a
big grid.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
If you go over there, mate, what can you do
to ruin this trip?
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (35:24):
Just get obliterated?
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Probably respond response responsibly, please bliter?
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Yeah, perfect, bigd You sound like the perfect candidate. You're
in the drawer, mate, You hold the line right.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Fellas, get on you amazing, get a Dave your may
advice and how's life?
Speaker 5 (35:42):

Speaker 6 (35:43):
How you go?
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Yeah? Get good Dave. What do you do for a crassmatee?
Speaker 5 (35:47):
I do it project management?
Speaker 4 (35:49):
So I heard nerd ah, who's your favorite New Zealand Warrior? There?
Speaker 5 (35:55):
Brother Royal which a big warriors man? I'm here.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
He's a really fast one. Ah yeah on the wing beer.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Yeah, certainly is Jason. You know your stuff, Dave? What
can you do if you want this trip to go
over there and ruin it for everyone?
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Man? Well, when I have a few peers sometimes are
like kind of take up my clothes and run around.
That might help.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
Oh well, I've got another question for you if you want,
who would you bring with.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
You to be a part of between my oldest and
my youngest son?
Speaker 3 (36:28):
Ye geese yeah actually yeah, yeah, good on you Dave.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
You're in the drawer as well. Mate, down the line
packs will saw you out? Get on your mate.
Speaker 4 (36:39):
That's a tough one.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
It is a tough one, you know. Send the fellow
with the kid lovely or the guy from Waitekato who's
just gonna get abliterated.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Tough call for that father, how do you choose?
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Well, that's right between two sounds, nary, what do you do? Yeah,
that's a real tough one.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
Maybe some sort of rugby league quiz.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
Yeah, take a mate and steal. Both have to miss out,
wouldn't they?
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Yeah, yeah, it's either both or none.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Yes, it is, of course an expert Ultra Grand Final
Beer Garden Tour in Sydney. These boys have done these
trips all around the world. Amsterdam, they went to the States,
to Austin, Texas and the South. Here it sounded like
an absolute hoot. So if you want to be part
of this, keep an air on Radio Hodarky and call
O eight hundred Hadarky when you hear that cue to.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Call good stuff. In the meantime, he's a little bit
of guns Roses.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
He is indeed the Hives there on the Radio Hodarchy
Big Show. This Monday afternoon. The time is five point
fifty two. Let's talk sport.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Are we doing sports? Chow I thought, this is oh yeah,
we can with sport.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
This sport all right, Gort who it's sport in the sense,
So we're going to talk about Kane Williamson, who you
have to say it was a shock announcement over the
weekend that he was retiring from international cricket with immediate effect, Yes,
immediate effects. So he played the first Test at Lord's
(38:06):
and then came out and said, yeah, he was done
and dusted. So it was a bit of a it
was a bit of a shock to the system. And
Bloody said, yeah, really said.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
I think it's really fair to say that he was
our greatest ever cricketer. Yeah, he was passionate about the game,
by far our most successful cricketer. I think mid fifties
is test average, maybe even similar for his one day record,
thirties for his T twenty record. He was a phenomenal player.
Thirty three Test hundreds or something like that.
Speaker 4 (38:36):
That's right, fifty the average of fifty four point zero
six and tests nine and a half thousand runs. You know,
people talk about Martin Crowe's head and shoulders above crow
Your average about forty four to forty five. The only
other ragment would be for.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Hadley, Oh, yes, which is which.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
The people can make. But yeah, I think part of
the probably the sadness about it, as it seemed to
come out of the blue. But the two all the
talk was that actually he didn't even want to go
on the story fact, he was done after the West Indies,
but he was persuaded to go, and then it became
clear to him that his heart is not in it anymore.
And I think probably and he must feel like that,
right because at the end of this year, there's a
(39:14):
tour to Australia. Yes, after that, there's a couple of
tests against Rolanka back home in New Zealand where he's
playing and would play in Hamilton, which would be where
he grew up, and then also the Bay Oval, which
is where he lives now. So an opportunity to say
goodbye to the New Zealand cricket fans. And that's probably
not so weird about this. He's not injured, but there
is no tests where anybody can say goodbye on He's
(39:34):
just like pulled up stumps. He's done and dusted.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
He grew up in tot Ono. By the way, I
played on the same rugby team as him. Very good.
Second five was that right, very good, very good. I
watched him very closely from the bench.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
Well, it was very surprising, as you say that he
called it in the middle of the tour in England
and I thought it must be some injury related thing,
but no, he sort of lost his passion and if
came Williamson was known for anything, it was his dedication
to getting better and better and better. He loved training,
he loved going to the nets, and the sort of
(40:07):
inside goss was he sort of woke up one day
and just didn't feel like under the nets anymore, and
so he just went, oh, well, that's me done and
dusted a very weird ending that we don't get to
say goodbye properly at home. Yeah, but he was truly
and he is truly a legend of the game.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
And I think about Kine though he's done nothing but
play cricket and be obsessed with cricket for the best
part of thirty years. Yes, because he's in his mid
thirties now and since he could hold a bat and
swing it, that's all he's been obsessed with so thirty years.
And that was the difference between him and everyone else
is while everyone was doing this or that, he was
in the nets just doing the same shot over and
over and over and over and over and sounds pretty
(40:44):
boring if you ask me, and if you ask most people.
But that was what made him so brilliant.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
And also you know, when he played county cricket and
played other international teams, he was famous for being in
the air of all their good batsmen. He always wanted
to get information about how to be better, what they did,
what their process was. So he was an absolutely a legend,
is an absolute legend. Just a shame we don't get
to say goodbye at home.
Speaker 4 (41:09):
I guess we've got the memories though, Joe, Yeah, we do, mate,
we do. And my probably my favorite memory will be
him and Ross Taylor been out in the middle together
getting the winning runs of the World Tiest Championship, the
All Girl that we won that as I'm so glad
that he got that title. I hear rumors are going
to now turn that into a statue outside the Basement reserve,
which would be a nice touch. And I heard somebody
(41:30):
else say, and I thought it was a good point.
He would be one of the very very few cricketers
in history to retire and not have a single hater.
True cannot hate Kane Williamson. He's a hell of a
bloke and a hell of a cricketer. Shame to see
him go, but what a career.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Well he epitomized that sort of New Zealand kind of
humble fellow, didn't he He was never a big you know,
he wasn't a David Warner sort of leaping in the air, no,
raises back very quietly, thanks everyone, and then get back
into it.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
I wouldn't have minded a bit more of that from him.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
Just a touch more, nah man, he was who he was. Yeah,
a legend.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
I still vividly remember going to the airport after they
came home from the twenty fifteen World Cup final, after
that amazing semi and then this is the ODII World
Cup came home. I was like, first on the ground,
they're working for crogo as world big interview. Kind of
knew him and knew his family from growing up, and
he was just so serious. I had like two three
(42:25):
questions ready to go kind of flat battered them and
it was just like really awkward, right, And I wouldn't
have minded just like a bit of like, you know,
just a but that's that's what made him who he is.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
You know, Good on you. Caine william Senior a champion
now listen coming up after six o'clock. Jeez, had a
very spooky thing happened to me today with old John
Campbell Way Spooky.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
The whole aching Big Show with j Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodiching.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Welcome back him as a backbones hope here Monday. He's
going along very pleasantly. Indeed, you're listening to the Big
Show incidentally brought to you by Reburger.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
Serving good times and good food dining or take away
Reburger Today.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
Fish is shave because it's Weberger. Yeah, true, an oldie
bit of goodie that one.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
What's for tea there, Jason, Bang Bang chicken? Yum?
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Yeah? Man?
Speaker 4 (43:25):
What makes a bang bang? Well?
Speaker 2 (43:27):
I actually because we bought it in a bag and
I said to my wife, well, we should old chicken
a bag. Old chicken has got all the ingredients in
the bag. It's delicious. And I said to my wife, actually,
we should just make it and find a recipe for it. Well,
because you know, maybe it's really simple. It kind of was.
It was like mayonnaise. It was a very weird combination
(43:48):
of ingredients, but mayonnaise mayonnaise. Yeah, it was quite a
big part of it.
Speaker 4 (43:53):
For sauce.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
No, no for sauce. So yeah, bang bang chicken on
a bed of couscous with roasted vegetables.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
Is it a split chicken?
Speaker 2 (44:02):
No?
Speaker 4 (44:03):
What are you being gutted chicken?
Speaker 2 (44:05):
And hopefully it's been gutted?
Speaker 4 (44:06):
Yeah? Nice like said, what are you having for?
Speaker 3 (44:10):
It's a good question, Keezy.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
We've got a couple of food bag type situations there.
I saw there was some might have been some tetakiki.
Maybe it was some snapper. You're going to have to
eat that before it.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Goes off snapper.
Speaker 4 (44:24):
Yeah, so I'm not too sure. We'll find out when
I get through the door, mate, But I tell you what, fellows,
it won't be long after that I'll be heading off
to bed. Nicey's suffering.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
He's hungover for everyone.
Speaker 4 (44:35):
We weren't spoking about that, And I'm mostly I'm mostly
tired because I went to bed. This is the thing.
I was home by seven, I was in bed at nine,
but then I was awake at eleven thirty and I
didn't go back to sleep. So I'm boogered. Yeah, but man,
I got through some darts.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (44:53):
What are you eating tonight?
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Keezy?
Speaker 3 (44:55):
My wife is at home and she has made making
petsa breads with Harissa chicken.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
And oh.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Oh yes chicken pickled red onion. I asked, play chicken,
it better be? I see, I basically said, better be.
I think it might be like oven baked thigh or
something which you didn't take out and pull apart and
put on the pitters. But I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (45:16):
Sounds good though, Thank you, No, it sounds really delicious. Hey,
let's get into the jeans again, shall we?
Speaker 1 (45:22):
There off spring the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four
on Radio Hodky.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Green Day There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
Monday evening. The time is six twenty.
Speaker 3 (45:34):
Six Fellers and ten days Thursday June twenty fifth, that
is Thursday next week from six am onwards. The entire
Hadarky team I will be broadcasting live for Day in

(45:56):
co dot in z. That is Day in Lou dot
Co dot in z and we will be broadcast thing
at the top of the sky tower.
Speaker 4 (46:03):
I need you, I need your help. As you guys know,
I've got a cat. It's called bird Ship Chris. It
actually came with that sting. When we picked it up,
I already had that sting.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
I preferred Tinker, to be honest, if I had to
choose between your two pets so far.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Yeah, but I'll tell you what the the the advantage
that Birdship Chris has got over Tinker is that she's
not dead. Because Tinker, for all of her positive attribute attributes,
is dead. Kesy. So comparing the two, it's like apples
and oranges, chalk and cheese. Now, I was out in
(46:44):
the back yard yesterday doing a bit of Reno's and
that hanging out the washing and I put them on,
put the washing there on a clothes horse. Two clothes
horses we've got. I've got a stable of clothes horses there.
But I was putting it on the lawn there to
try and catch some of that winter sun. And what
do I see all over the lawn but dozens of
(47:06):
cat steamers does And this cat's not even trying, it's
just dropping because a cat will normally bury a poo. Yes,
they want to hide their existence from other cats around
so that they don't know that they're there, you know.
But this cat is just doing more steamers, more often,
(47:28):
more obviously than Tinker you carever used to do.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Yeah, well, you're totally You're totally right.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
What about Tinker.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
No, cat's a genuinely or generally way more meticulous in
terms of covering up their poos. With Jiz at home,
my cat, she spends like twenty minutes covering her poos.
She and it's like, is that a she's got a problem. Man,
(47:59):
She's overly like that. So for a cat to just
randomly drop steamers everywhere, it is very odd behavior.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Yeah. Well I don't think it's random. I think it's
every time she needs to do a steamer, she does one.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
Sorry, Jason, what was the name of your cat?
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Jeers Jew? You know they often say also, and it's
just occurred to me that pets are often like their owners.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
That's what I was thinking.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
And you are notorious for your five or six steamers
a day.
Speaker 5 (48:31):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 4 (48:33):
But only two or three of them on the lawn.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
Right, Yeah, But she doesn't have the options that.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
You have no, that's true. Well she's you know, as
far as she's concerned. She does because she spent most
of her early life taking dumps on my bed I remember, yes,
and urinating all over my bed as well, up to
three times a week. So I don't really know what
to do because it's bloody disgusting. We had the lord
the guy comes over to mow the lawns today, so
(48:59):
that's sort of sort of out. So maybe I just
need to get the guy over to mow the lawns
every day.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Yeah, well, no, you do what you did with Thinker
and your daughter. You say you wanted a cat's the responsibility?
Speaker 4 (49:14):
Yes, thank you.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
You're on Pooh Watch. I could rub your face in
it the cat.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
No, totally, that's not weird.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Here's mus the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Archy.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
Dixie's there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday evening.
The time is six eighty seven. Fellows, let's give out
some advice.
Speaker 6 (49:48):
Sixty up.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
At gmail dot com get in touch with the fellas.
Do get in touch. It's a great way to get
yourself a prize. If you've read it on the show.
It's hundredercent anonymous as well, and it is a really
mail addressed Meat Padding sixty nine at gmail dot com.
Great stuff, man, you don't want to yell anything or
your all g No, no, I'm all good fellas. Today's
(50:11):
question comes in from anonymous. Oh yeah, good a fellows.
Anonymous here, I've just got a job again. After a
stint of unemployment and casual odd jobs, odd jobs. Now
my income is a bit more consistent. I've decided to
get a gym membership. This was also driven by some
subtle jabs from my misso on my pudginess. I was
(50:31):
wondering if you fellows had any secret tips to get
as fit and chiseled as old Mogi, everything from exercise,
diet and staying consistent. I want to be bursting out
of my white T shirt in a good musty guy way,
not spilling out. Yeah yeah, Anonymous, Nat, Now.
Speaker 4 (50:48):
I've got no advice, Moggie, Well, I'm an absolute sack.
I haven't been to the gym for five months, but
I'm still paying my gym membership. Yes, Bak, that's the key,
because what I'm sort of all about is I'm like Oh,
you know what I'm going to do. I'm going to
start tomorrow. Yes, did that over the weekend is I've
got to go to the gym, got to go sauna.
And I said to my wife, I'm not goad, I'm
not gad.
Speaker 2 (51:08):
Yes, yeah, what do you do?
Speaker 4 (51:10):
Drink all day?
Speaker 2 (51:11):
And punched out.
Speaker 4 (51:12):
Drink all day and smoked that and let me tell you,
it was magnificent, more.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
Fun gym it was back.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
Yeah. And then once you get back into it.
Speaker 2 (51:21):
I think where I've got into with it is don't
go too.
Speaker 4 (51:24):
Hard on it, because you can't go too hard on it,
you know, and become obsessive. And the next thing you know,
your missus is fuman because you're never home. She's been
calling you a fat sack. And then you're never home anymore.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
She's like, I miss your fat sack. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
I remember you saying. Was it a lot of it
about calorie deficits deficit stuff?
Speaker 4 (51:46):
If you want to lose weight, Yeah, you got to
be in a calorie deficit keysing, So you've got to
burn more than you put in.
Speaker 3 (51:52):
So how many calories does the average male need?
Speaker 4 (51:54):
I didn't say twenty three, twenty four hundred A day.
I just to get around the place. Yeah, so if
you drop that down to you only give yourself seventeen
hundred wow.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
Place you're exercising and then you eat foods that make
you full for longer?
Speaker 4 (52:05):
Is that right? Make you feel full of longer protein?
You want to be high in proteins. Anyway, this is
all still pretty boring. How many but I would I
would go just get into the habit of gown you'll
feel good. You reckon two weeks. It takes two weeks
before you see a result and then makes you see
a result that you keep on going. But most people
will give up in that first two weeks.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
How many calories do you reckon? You're pumping a day? Keasy?
Speaker 3 (52:27):
I love how I'm pumping them like. I don't just
consume them like the normle of it.
Speaker 2 (52:31):
I pump them.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
I just pumping them into yourself.
Speaker 3 (52:34):
I don't know, well, I very really have breakfast, Yeah right,
sound good? And then I eat lunch at sort of
one or two o'clock in the afternoon.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
Do you have a little snack before that?
Speaker 6 (52:44):
Though?
Speaker 3 (52:44):
You're not eating all the way to coffee and drink water?
Speaker 4 (52:46):
Is that right?
Speaker 3 (52:47):
Most days? Unless I've got like a podcast or it
is something that I have to do in the morning
that requires brain power. Then I'll have a cereal or
porridge or something I don't know. But then I always
have a big lunch at the big dinner. So I
reckon four thousand. What about you? Jay's like, what three hundred?
You have a cracker with a tomato wackle and you
come here and steal chips every day from the acc
(53:09):
and eat those? How many there would be like two
thousand calories?
Speaker 4 (53:12):
Would plenty?
Speaker 2 (53:13):
Inaccurate?
Speaker 7 (53:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (53:14):
Well I was because I remember when I was getting
a bit obsessed with the gym, and this is a
long time ago, and I was free this year because
it was like a coffee at a last it was
like six hundred calories or something, and I was like,
what yeah, and you go to the gym and you
burn like three hundred calories and you go, oh yeah,
So if I'm having ten coffees a day, that's six
(53:37):
thousand calories.
Speaker 3 (53:38):
How much? How many calories do you reckon that peanut
butter milkshaker yoursers?
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Oh, that would be pumping it because they do like
the wepped cream on top of Yeah, it is so
good man, But at the same time.
Speaker 3 (53:51):
Man like it's all about balancing.
Speaker 4 (53:53):
Yeah, I would be concerned that your missus doesn't love
you the way that you are get that is an
issue too. I would cancel the gym membership and.
Speaker 3 (54:01):
Break up with her back padic the relationship.
Speaker 2 (54:03):
Absolutely, Yeah shocking, body shaming.
Speaker 3 (54:07):
Don't you miss not cool?
Speaker 2 (54:09):
Man? Yeah? Man not cool.
Speaker 3 (54:10):
Hey, don't forget me Patty E sixty nine at gmail
dot com. If you ever need advice and you could
win a pray for.
Speaker 1 (54:15):

Speaker 2 (54:52):
I was watching this whole movie today with Sean Connery
and Michael Caine and it was horifict racist.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
That's why you watched it. You're talking about the good
old days.
Speaker 3 (55:05):
Daniel Drevett and Peachey Karen and Krahan, two former British
soldiers in India. Yeah, I decided to travel to Kaferistan,
where no white man has ventured in a long time
and rule as kings.
Speaker 4 (55:18):
Wow, you feel like you.
Speaker 3 (55:20):
Typed into chat GPT holidays and then said what kind
of movie will I dream movie? Yeah, that's what happened.
Speaker 2 (55:27):
As I have to say, the chemistry between Michael Caine
and Sean Conner was very good. Really, they really came
across as good old chums, right, good old chum.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
What about all the racist stuff?
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Yeah, I mean that was shocking. It's terrible.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
Yeah, but they are a good chump.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
Bogie.
Speaker 4 (55:45):
You're off to bed probably, man, I'll go home, he
with dinner, go to toy to the house a little
bit to be honest. Yeah, but yeah, she'll definitely be
an early one tonight. I am looking forward to it.
Finally got the flannel sheets on the bed, yes night.
I haven't been doing that. It's been it's been bloody warm,
too bloody warm, middle of winter. Men middle of winter, Keasy.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
Said about have you got your flannel sheets on me?
I don't have flannel sheets, you know, No, I just
got the cotton. But we put the warmer douvet on
clip together. Do you know one bit of douveate in
a is for summer?
Speaker 2 (56:20):
We do?
Speaker 3 (56:20):
You stay one of those the other ones winter, and
then you clip them together when winter's coming. But it's
nice and big.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
And you wear your onesie to bed anyway.
Speaker 4 (56:27):
So you must wear night back door.
Speaker 3 (56:30):
I've got to button up back door. But to be honest, man,
it's usually spends more time down than it does up
the back door there.
Speaker 2 (56:40):
It must be a real add in the nightmare at
midnight for you.
Speaker 3 (56:43):
No, I've got it done to a fine art when
you do it nightly like I do ja. Tonight, I'm
going to go and watch Broken Wood. Oh yeah, the
episode from last night where apparently Jason's character played a
huge role. I've never watched Broken Wood. I'm scared to
watch it, and I'll be giving a review tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (56:57):
I to watch it as well, but it's ninety minutes
long and I need to nice.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (57:01):
Oh stuff that really?
Speaker 2 (57:03):
Yeah, you're fair enough, man, that's a movie.
Speaker 3 (57:06):
What are you doing tonight, jas Am.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Gonna go home and have some bang bang chicken, good stuff,
bang banged chicken.
Speaker 3 (57:14):

Speaker 2 (57:16):

it for me from an op shop.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
