Speaker 1 (00:00):
For all you med bastards loving the Big Show podcast,
get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and ticked off
for for targets for the silver livery weekday on radio
on get A Films, Hello.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I'll tell you what came up today for me. Funnily enough,
it was our Breakfast shell when we did the Breakfast
Show again and you were harrendously hang over.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
It was this time last year, wasn't it, after the
Radio Awards.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
And you and then you piped up and.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
It was funny and they just cried laughing.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
What was that?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Was that face? What you get the memories?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yes, something like that.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Do you get the memories on the face on the Insta?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I get I actually with the old Facebook ones, getting
undated with memories of my dog.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Ah, your dog's dead.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Yeah, so that's kind of sad.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I get all these videos of her, like frolicking on
the beach when she was alive, when she was alive
and happy and full of joy devises.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
I get that on just on my computer there with
photo memories.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
There was one the other day which was my daughter
hagging our dog Tinker for a while a while over
on way Hicky Islanders, said, but isn't it good that
they've got the chance to live? Jason true Man, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
We're talking about this of my parents over the weekend
because we've got my dog family dog Ava, really old,
literally just stands sort of in the middle of the
still alive, still a live, blind, deaf, really dark and
takes ages to sit down and just sort of like
I can relate when the Warriors game was on because
she's allowed to sleep on this like mattress thing by
the front door. She's not an indoor dog, she's a

(01:51):
farm dog. And she's sitting over there. You know, she's
blind and deaf.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Put it to work.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
And then we're like, I'm yelling at the Warriors, and
she just stands up, walking like off in mattress into
the middle of the sort of joint living area and
just goes. I think that I'm like, yeah, you heard something.
The Warriors are one and if.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
You were an attacker, you'd all be fucked.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
There was once upon a time she was a good
guard dog, should bark whenever a car up the drive.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Was a shaker like that. Anything would set her off?
Was it she was deaf as well?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Wasn't she tinker? She was in the end she did there.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Yeah, well, I mean before she died.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
But the problem is your dog. The problem with your
dog is a problem. She is dead. She is dead now,
because that was what I was gonna say. Is the
reason that bark is because you had a Border Collie?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yes, oh yeah, she is a fan dog.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
They just got cooped up all day.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
She did get she did get run a lot. That
was a good things. Well, I'd take it down to
the beach.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
And take it down to the deer and get some dart.
Today's the day, today's first day. Is it on there? Great?
Is it dark chat? Dut chat?

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Yeah, it's not on there, but we will we will
huge um first out of the bit.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
But like you know, even still to this day, when
my wife and I go to the family bat yeers,
we always think of rude because we'll be walking on
the beach and she essed to just run ahead and
be filled with joy.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I'm thinking about getting a dog, say thinking about it?
I mean thinking about it the whole Lucky Big Show
week days from four on Radio Hurarchy. Remember they Big
Show podcast and have not said a word in my house.
There's a few even say anything close. That's how we

(03:51):
get it up with this cat. Yes, you the cat.
I love the cat. But the cat I'm putting downstairs
and the laundry every night. I thought she's putting down No,
not yet, just because it makes a wakes me up
a million times a night. But just for my daughter.
I think it's important for you to have a dog
when you're a kid.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, I mean there's there's some really nice qualities about it.
But we're done with our dog days. But you're right, well,
because you're not dead, you cannot afford to bring it
up unless you're going to get a dog because you'll
never hear the last.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
That's right, and I would go. But I would also
not get a dog like the dog that you had. No,
that made it that was that's a tough dog to
own in the city. I get probably end up. You know.
What I'd love is to get a staffy. Oh yeah,
I love a staffy with kids. Friendly bards. No, they're
not the most beautiful natured dogs. They can fuck you up, yes,

(04:41):
because they're little nuggets of muscle, but their nature is unreal.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
They're beautiful, but again that's on the owners A lot
of the time.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
The worst dogs, those little fucking nippy bass.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I'll tell you one of the residents in our apartments,
she's got a little French bulldog.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
That's pretty cute French.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah, because it goes bull Bodie Jay that was the
jizz Pellace.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Lip Palace dies.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
And it's quite a cute dog.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
But the owners, you know, getting on in years and
basically gets I watch you walking the dog every day
and it's getting sheese, getting laid around, and it's.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Only a little bugger. It's not a big dog. But
they're quite cute. The old French ball.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
A happy line. They're doing jack ship. I don't want
one with breathing issues. It dribbles everywhere.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
Apparently friends about had one and they spend like fifteen
grand on it just for it to just be able
to sit there and not die.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Apparently, if you want a dog that does fuck all
the old greyhound.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
I hate greyhounds.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I'm not a fan of the myself.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
The ugliest grettist dogs on the face of the earth.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I feel the same way.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
It's not even close about whippets, and I feel because
not as big, no, but it goes. It's in that
it's in the ballpark.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
And I feel the same way about poodles.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
And people from a certain countries.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I cannot abide poodles, and particularly the big poodles.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
I hate poodles and it don't even get sat on
labra duds. I hate the big poodles and even the
little ones because they've often got shit all over their walls.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Yes, but the reason labor doodles, I could be wrong,
But the reason labradoodles are good is because the mixture
of the type of food doesn't melt as much or something.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
No, that's right, but that I just don't. I just
think they've got They've got nothing. Man, the look at them,
and they're thick as ship. They're a friendly dog. I
think a made of mine has got his. Missus has
got one, and I think it's a libradoodle. It's pretty funny,
you know, just nothing going on between the years we.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Used to tell you about and her racism because.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
She they say it's a learner to behavior.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
She would, without a word of a lie, see poodles
or a labor doodle and go ape shit other dog.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
She couldn't care less poodles. She hated them. Yeah, we
would just go berserk at them.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I'm trying to hold back the joke here you walking past?

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yeah, because I'm so racist.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Well, I wouldn't mind getting like somewhere between a little
dog like a Schnauzer. Oh yeah, somewhere between a Schnauzer
and a huntway or a board a colleague, somewhere in
the middle there.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I've seen them before.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
It's like a perfect sized dog, not tiny, the yappy thing,
but not a huge bastard.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
I want one of those. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Yeah, well, especially with the family and stuff growing keys here,
now's the time to be getting a dog.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Why?

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Well, because once the kid arrives, you.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Know, you're basically homebound for the rest of the next
twenty years.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
When you get the dog first and then have the
this is the thing you see, Well you could. I
think you get the kid fist, then you bring a
dog in so that your kid is always as a
head is already ruling the roost. Yes, but you've gotta
be careful. Even though you think, oh, my dog's sweet,
it's like, well sweet until it's not. Do you really
want to run the risk? Yeah a bubby Yeah probably

(08:16):
not not even my shoes.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
My message the other day was like, are they still
making jokes about us being pretty. I'm oh nah nah,
and she's that.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
She doesn't listened to the podcast.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, I mean my wife is getting very cocky keysy,
so you better get on with it.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Man, Well that's up to you to get one. Why
are you telling me to get it on with your wife?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
This old rams out to pass my god with my
huge bullets.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
So you could if you wanted to still father a child.
Do you reckon that you could just lodge a load
if your head.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
I'm picturing like an ice breaks breaks off questions and
to the ocean.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
This this just wave of sea. Yes, I do, keisy,
I think I could still father a child.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
That's good?

Speaker 4 (09:15):
What are you suggesting?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
And my wife was like, yeah, I'd love a hoiity
j running around. People are having them old man totally.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
Yeah, oh yeah no fuck well you had yours quite old,
wouldn't you say?

Speaker 3 (09:31):
I would? But older than me even even like and
now sort of a thing is what I'm thinking. But
you know, because you see babies in there, and I
already know that you're getting tricked, you know, and I'm
very aware of that and how cute they are and
all that sort of stuff and I just remember, Oh yeah,
because a few nights ago my daughter got up a
few times in the night. Yeah, that's right, and it
just took me back.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Man.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
It's like I fucking hated it so much. Too old,
too old now.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yeah, you're probably at the perfect age at the moment, kezy.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Probably getting on of it.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
To be honest, I'd be getting on to pass around.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Too much, that's for sure. Oh, you're not supposed to.
Is getting real weird. You're going to get that weird
to form jizz. Who knows what You're going to end up.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
With little bends in it and stuff. It's okay with
the jizz. Hey, listen to the Big Show for seven
