Speaker 1 (00:00):
For all your man Bastards, Loving the Big Show podcast,
Get Up Even Closer on Instagram, YouTube and tik tok
for doggets four.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
To seven every weekday on Radioreck Oh good, Phil Man.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Hello, Yeah, that's how we dody Jay today. Mogi, you're
off tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
I'm off man go down south Man in Queenstown count Wait.
I thought I might do a half day of skiing, skiing, right, skiing, Yeah,
snowboarding on Wednesday. Then I meant to be meeting Matt
Heath in his new at a bar, which bar, probably
at the resort. I'm staying it, but actually now we've

(00:43):
changed my mind. He came up with another bar, so
we're going to go. Then Thursday, half day of snowboarding.
I think it's going to be a lot for the kid, yeah,
and a lot for me.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
But at least you'll come back with the yarn about
how amazing Moggi Mano is at snowboarding.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Yeah, I think we've parked that chip. And then on Friday,
a big lunch, long lunch, no scheme se on Sunday
because it's because it's indeed public, more people, you know,
So I just yea a couple of half days. But
I just want to get some great little cold plunge

(01:19):
joints and saunas. One on the river, one on the lake,
a sauna and then you jump into the lake. Holy holy, Yeah.
I like that.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
I like the idea of a natural cold plunge and
I do an ice b Yeah. Like just my partner
did a sauna the other day and that was right
on the beach. This guy was like portable and so
she hit the sauna and then straight into the sea.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeah boy, another round, Yeah boy, you should do it,
and then you can talk about it because I can
tell yeah, I can tell. Yeah, I wouldn't be doing
it if it wasn't amazing. It is fucking and.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
You feel is it like you've gone for a mean
run and you're like the endorsement.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Super highly energized. Great for a hangover, but yeah, and
dolphins are through the roof without having to go for
a run, but just absolutely feel fucking as brand new
as it's possible.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Do you think it's the same as when you get
up and you just run and go for a big
swim first thing in the morning in the ocean, and
then you hop out and you're.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Like, oh yeah, it's not.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
It's not the same, but it's a similar kind of rush.
Like I love that buzz as well. You're staying somewhere in.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Your when you hangover, you know, and you go for
a swim in the ocean, You're like, oh my god,
you come like I'm brand new, and then you know,
three minutes yeah, yeah, but yeah, no, it's bloody good.
I've done the infrared thing. I don't get that. I've
not felt anything. What is there any benefit to that?
It's meant to be So you stand in front of
infrared light, you have infred saunas and stuff, which I
don't really like.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
It's just a dude with a barcode skin of running
it up and down, you up.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
And down, you beep, and there's meant to be benefits
for that. But I haven't felt good. I haven't noticed anything,
So I've given up on that.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
That's the best way to do it is to do
it makes you feel what.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Makes you feel good, man. So there's gonna be a
lot of a lot of wine.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
You're gonna be fucking hung over.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
It's gonna be great. I am. It's gonna be I am.
But we're going to be starting early most days is
your missus ski No, she's going to be learning. So
she's getting lessons. My daughter's going to get lessons, and
I I'm going to get listen.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I was going to ask how you write yourself on
the snow.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Well, I rated myself. I could. I used to be
able to snowboard, but then I'm up last year, but
I went up on the last day of the I
went up on the last day of the season, so
it was super icy and I just I told you,
I told you this. Ye didn't know because you try
and stop and you're just getting on ice, and so
I wasn't. It was my first day in many many

(03:41):
years as I was just ship just falling all the
way down. Yeah. So I did one run, we'll call it,
and it was just an absolute disaster. And from that
she would So while I was falling on my ass
all the way down, I hear this voice, how are
you going? And there's somebody on a ski lift who

(04:04):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Know, tell me their phone is out.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
I don't know what that was, and but I'm wearing
like goggles and I don't know how they knew. But anyway,
that was my name that was tell me fuck yeah.
Fucking but yeah, so this time will be better. But
I'm just sort of thinking in terms of wanting to

(04:26):
be able to enjoy it. But I know it does
take about My brother goes quite a lot of ecause
it takes a few hours. I think he said to
like half a day to get better, but well, to
get back to yourself. But I'm not going to do that.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Big Show days from four on Radio Hodarchy.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Now that's good listening and it's live. What are you
listening to the Oh sorry, I was listening to the
Radio Hodarky Big Show for the seven week days. It's
quite speci and I heard radio choose.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
A home wrecking Big Show podcast.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Well the thing is too the other thing that's really
unattractive and we'll give my partner the eck is if
you're pizzaing down the slope on a skieze as well.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Is she really good or something?

Speaker 2 (05:16):
No, she's just got her someone being gumby.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah, it's so if she was.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Watching, like I hate to do her drive by on
a random person, but let's say produce a root from
the breakfast show. If she was watching him try to
catch a ball or something and then he dropped for
some reason, My wife just goes, I don't.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
She just gets what about when you you you pulled
up in the four by one hundred? How DoD she
feel about that?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
No, she was genuinely like fucked off that I didn't
warm up because that was She's like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
That was continuing to try. That would have given me
the excuse me?

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I still finished one hundred meters squad. Yeah, there's something
and I hate to reminisce on this thing from a
year ago.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
It wasn't a year ago over, but there's something about
like running down one hundred minutes and then the Nia
Stewart just steaming past.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
The Really, you know, it's like, fuck, look at him?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Go chin first?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Are you a bit gumby?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Pugs? Ah?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Just a little bit?

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Yeah, I can be, absolutely, But unfortunately I'm with a
partner who is just airs, if not more gumby than
I am in terms of, you know, her coordination and
things like that.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I think it's because my wife's family, like the dad
was a cricket coach, her brother's begging to cricket and
rugby and stuff. Her mum was really sporty, and so
if you bring home a dude who's like I don't know,
tripping over his feet trying to catch a fucking I
don't even know.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
But she's instantly like, I'll never forget. And she would
hate for me to say this. But very early on
when we started dating, and obviously she was still working
at the radio station across the way there down here. Yes,
I went over there one day and I was sitting
with her and the other people because I've got friends
over here, and she.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
You're over there sniffing around. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Yeah, I was over there sniffing around and like a
bloodhound yep. And then she was walking and her bag
was on the floor right and her foot caught her
bag strap and she did, like the whole like stip
stip stip across the whole office, trying to catch herself,
trying to stop from mint.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Was too much.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
And that was very early on in our relationships. So
that gave me a few points ahead. But that I
might bring you don't really care, no, no, but I was.
I knew that I would eventually give her the EX
for something, so it was nice to have liverage.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Yeah, you know what gives her the man? What gives
her the X?

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Have you figured it out? I think if I was
going to give her the it would have happened a
long time.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
She was very supportive of She.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Would get around there. Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
You've seen her fashion.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
She wears a brew, doesn't she She does have she
doesn't wear them enough.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I would say, yeah, I'd like to say more. I
want to I think her it could be like a
man with skinny jeans one hundred percent one hundred percent. Yeah,
really Tidy Jay's ones. Yeah black.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
I actually had something over the week end and because
I had some old, old skinny jeans, oh yeah, and
they came out of we left some boxes around at
our last house and they got dropped off and I
was like, one pier was brand new, but they were
a size small for some reason, so don't they ended
up with those so brand new with the text on them.
Then another two that had been worn extensively, and I

(08:19):
started trying. I got them up to like halfway up
my cap. I said to that these we can get
rid of these, these are never coming back.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
They were not.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Tight jeans.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
But then the really used to have the ones that
would like squeeze your calf and then you'd have a
massive drop crutch.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah, yeah, that's what's great.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
About the current sort of style is just straight cut ship,
which is so because men skinny jeans had to get
stuff out of your pocket when you be sat down
and around with a phone bulge. Yeah yeah, hog yeah
not really no, hug No what gives your misses?

Speaker 2 (08:57):
The has she shown any.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Because it's been a top probably ripping. I don't know really,
I don't know if it's yet because it's not the gross.
It's gross, but the echo is yeah, sort of like
a I don't know, I don't think so well, she
doesn't voice it. She what about for me? It's not
really the it's just funny to me. She's not a
good diver. She can't dive into a pool.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
That yeah, she's like a little bit belly floppy hands.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
A little too scared to just commit to the dive.
I have said to her, you know, a hot woman
being able to dive into a pool. It's almost like
a comedy sketch when a really hot woman and then
belly flops into a pool.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Because bond.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
James bondybe the hot woman like hops and divest doesn't
make a splash.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Where she's belly flopping.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
She's so that's pretty funny and we have we ever
laughed at We have laughed about that, by which I
mean I laugh about it and it makes yourself conscious.
But what else?

Speaker 1 (10:05):
So that?

Speaker 4 (10:05):
And then I think the other thing that is hot
as a woman that can play pool.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Yeah, yeah, quite specific, it's about play pool.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Yeah, that's good stuff. Yeah, and actually a woman who's
coordinated in general.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I like being able to play tennis against my wife right, like,
we can play a game of tennis and it's actually decent.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
You know. I like that? You like that?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I like that pugs.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Do you like it when she checks the sleeper on you,
when even she wants to just gets you in your head,
locking you up.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
No, I told her she had to stop doing that.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
She checked the fellas. I watched the show last night.
Good Gold, m good Gold, Allie KITT's a new rookie Gervais.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Any good o. You talk about it.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
I want you guys to watch it. Not your it's
not for your wife, right, pretty full on, it's so
full on, But I want you guys to watch it.
I watched five episodes of it last night. There's only
six sixteen minutes long. But I love to get.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Everybody's knowing My usual perspective, you're going to be I'm.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Going to be you're not going to watch it With
my part, I absolutely watch it because I think maybe
it goes so far that it's that it's funny again.
But there's some subvident that I was like, and I'm
dying laughing. But it was a lot of you know,
when there's heaps are swearing and something and I know
they're swearing for the sake of it. Yes, it goes

(11:26):
so much further past that, but it becomes funny again
if and sees from yeah, a cat, I can't. I'll
say it fucking headgehogs and rats what it sounds me.

(11:46):
It's just so crazy. And my wife, who's you know,
if she doesn't have my sensibility, she was she was laughing,
okay against a better judgment, you know, yes, yeah, yeah,
all it's meant for skittling your five.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
