Hello, and welcome to an announcement from Savor. I'm Annie Reese.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
And I'm Lauren Vogelbaum, and we have to tell y'all
that we are sunsetting this podcast. I know that that
is perhaps harsh and surprising news, but we want to
assure you that this is not goodbye.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
No, no, And if you don't know, because I have
a friend who asked me, this sunsetting is like a
slow winding down. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, It's not an immediate and abrupt stop. It's not
like what the Hulk roller coaster does to you over
and over again.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
That roller coaster really burned you, huh it did.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Yes, but uh but yeah. The thing is is that
we do this show for art, for our day job, right,
and the demands of that can shift. So what we're
doing is we're taking the next like month, they're so
the month of like May twenty twenty six ish to
talk about things that we really want to cover that

(01:08):
we haven't yet, and also to make sure that if
you have something that you want us to read on air,
that you have a chance to send.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
It, yeah, and that you have a chance to write
in and maybe suggests something we should really cover. If
we have the Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yes, yes, there are things that we won't be able
to get to that we've been talking about for like
years in some cases, like I've been meaning to put
together another Food fairy Tale episode, to do a dramatic
reading of Jack and the Beanstalk. I'm sorry, Jack and
the Beanstalk. I don't have time for you guys right now,

but you would have been so ridiculous. Annie, I'm sorry
I haven't made you watch Goodfellas yet.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yes, a true tragedy. We also haven't done an episode
in Ratitude the film, nor the Dish, but you have
watched it, right.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I did watch it the last time I was sick.
I usually only watch kids movies when I'm sick, and
so and I did watch it and I did cry
and I loved it. So yeah, it's so. It's on
the list.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
It is also the Star Wars Holiday Special, which, to
be fair, we have covered topics related.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
To pretty extensively. You have not watched it yet, not
in full, but that might be a you and me
project that might.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Be I think, so we don't need to drag the
listeners into this, is what you're saying. Yes, well, a
point being we would do this forever if we could.
We have so many topics that we would love to
do and all of you listeners just thank you, thank

you so much. The stories that you've shared have been wonderful.
The time that you've taken you have helped us shape
this show in such a lovely way. We've gotten to travel,
and we've worked with and met truly amazing people. So
thank you. That couldn't have happened without you.

Yeah, and that is including all of you, you know,
Like we love it when y'all check in. We love
it when we get a message from someone who we
haven't heard from in a while. But yeah, this all
might sound like a little bit sad, but like we
will still be around, Like we're not being taken off
the air personally, no.

No, and we have plans to hopefully continue in whatever
way we can. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah, I mean, look like the feet is staying up,
like right, and the email staying up. So the email
is staying up, the socials are staying up. Annie is
also on stuff Mom never told you, and so you
can hear her there. I'm going to try to invade
that show and talk about horror movies or maybe foods.
I don't know. Yeah, sure, I'm I'm over on brain stuff,

which is just me talking into a microphone for like
five to twelve minutes about random topics. So if you know,
I'm kind of using my more official voice on that one,
So it might sound a little weird because you know,
I'm just sort of chatting here, right, but I've kind
of but I've kind of got like my like my
like official radio voice on that one. It's a little
bit a little bit less vocal fry, a little bit

more clear.

Yeah, you do have a very good what I would
call traditional broadcasting voice.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Yeah, except for when I go into full Grimlin. But
but yeah, so we'll be on those, you know, watch
out for us on other projects yet to be announced.
