what we want to cover live. But it's different beast
doing it live versus us doing a recording. Because if
you've ever somehow guested with us, because we've had a
few listeners come on to do some episodes with us,
whether we did it for Sex and the City and
that is coming back soon, don't you worry, or whether

we feel like you have so much knowledge in a
certain subject that you are a pro at doest and
should come talk about it.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
You have seen us where we say, yes, we are recording,
but it is not live. So if you want to
take something back, all those things and it's not so
much of a performance as we are doing kind of
a script write Annie.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Generally these happy pars not so much, but yes.

Yes, And even with these happy hours though, if we
want to take something back or edit something, or I
stumbled through something, which I do often, we can have
it edited. That's one of the best things about podcasting
is that we're not on radio, contrary to a lot
of like movies, how to think that that's how we

do it. But with that, we also want to do
a topic that is lively interactive and not necessarily traumatic.

This is where we were like, oh, yeah, how do
we do this? How do we do this invitingly?
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Because it's a it's a vacation.

It is I.

Want to be on a voyage together where we are
enjoying and having our adults only time because it is
twenty one and over hangouts where we taste amazing food, which,
by the way, I'm very excited about all these restaurants.

I've been looking through all the different ones.

I'm like, I gotta do this one, and we'n to
do all of them, any all of them and then
there's like little things that you can do that people
don't know about if you know, you know, type of
things like getting bracelets, maybe little shot classes. So I saw,
so you know, we're going to do some adventuring. But
with that again, like this is a fun time. I mean,
we want to make sure that we are conveying that

we are fun people, not just tragically crying girls oliver
in the side of the corner, which is not a
bad thing, just not the most appropriate time. It's all
about the timing right, And again, we do have a
few ideas, so let me throw some ideas for y' all,
because we also will probably be talking to a lot
of people who don't know about our show, so not

you faithful listeners, but we would love for you to come.

So because we love good you know, people who know us.

Yeah, it does feel nice because like they know stuff
you should know pretty well. They've been around, they've been
the flagship, they've been the standard, and they're amazing dudes.
We love them very much. Excited to hang with them
on this voyage. But like they have a pretty broad
aspect of topics that they can do, and they always
draw in a good crowd and then you know stuff

they don't want you to know. Ben. If you know Ben, Bolin,
Nol and Matt who are part of this show, they
are the kings of entertainment when it comes to being
on stage. I really feel like Ben was is an
actor slash have been an old school actor who could
perform at a Broadway even he could do a soliloquoy. Soliloquy,

I can't say they have the word. I can't even
say the word liloquoy in a way that is so amazing.
So like he brings in a crowd in itself us
we are good, we're interactive, but it's not something that
we do on a consistent basis. So we're trying to
like we're going to stick with our intersectional feminism because
that's who we are. We will never diver from that.

But that could mean a host of things. So one
of the things that we thought about, because it is
going to be in October again, October second of the seventh,
Halloween we should do because you know, we love good Halloween,
but also sometimes we turn dark in our Halloween topics. Sure, yeah,
you know, you know, like we'll talk about like how

periods are a horror like storyline that they don't want
to admit not always the greatest subject.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I think it's truthful. It was a great episode. It
was a great episode.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
However, how does that translate doing a live participation type
of event. So we've talked about doing hollow and related
topics with that, maybe like you know, true crime level,
Like we don't do too much of true crime because
we don't think it's necessarily a brand that's about us.
But we have talked about things like women who fall

in love with serial killers? Why does this happen? We
all obviously do like a deep dive. We talked to
the psychological level of why this happens? And I think
that's still important. I think that's important and we would
dove into that. But what if we did that as
like a part two in which we talk about men
who have fallen in love with women serial killers, which
(06:55):
has happened, not as many that we know of that
we know of, but we can dig like dig into
that in a little bit conversation of that and also
like dive into maybe why women kill.

I think we've talked about.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
That before, but like a little bit deeper, especially today
when we talk about some things we talked about women
who have faked their deaths. I think that would be
an interesting conversation and also digging up old cases about
that that that might be a good topic and it
could be interactive, a little bit of like why would
they do it? Well, what are the reasons? And I

feel like, again that could turn dark, yes, real quick,
because I did did bring in the example of sleeping
with the enemy and why she did and he was
a horrible abusive and he tried to kill her. Yeah,
so it's like, again, this is I have a problem

We also talked about like, you know, why women are
willing to go with hainous crimes kind of like that
kind like Bonnie and Clyde, but not so much as
a much participant, but oftentimes like that just like, oh
well it happened in turn way, Like I've seen definitely
stories of like women of men who they are married
to who have like kidnapped people and kept them. But

then like the women really did start turning, like feeling
bad and trying to figure out how to do it,
but also kind of that level of like being traumatized themselves.

I feel like I'm explaining it.

Right now, but like you know, talking a deep dive
on that as well as looking at some of the
specific cases and like maybe some of the heroines. We
talked about that as well. I also thought about a
really fun like throwback into why don't we Believe Her?
But in talking about women's celebrities who may have gone
through things and we've just or we owe them an

apology like that turn we owe them an apology and
talk about like the nineties like misunderstood actresses that we
really were like, oh damn, they.

And I think about that with Monica Lewinsky too, and
I know we've talked about that as well, like she
we owe her an apology, And I thought we could
do a deep dive on stuff like that.

but what are some things that you think would be
a little more of a fun take on a subject?
Not necessarily these subjects that you're like, you should do
this as a live show, you think would be a
more interesting live show as opposed to us just doing research.

We're still hammering out the details obviously, but we are
talking about introducing interactions with the audience and things like that.

So we would love to hear from you. What would
you want to hear? What do you think would be good?

hope you can, because it would be a delight to
hang with you because we would be hanging with you.

We have nothing but this one panel planned and I
think it may be another couple of events that you
are able to participate in, but outside of that, we're

hang with whoever is on the ship, making new friends,

making friends in general because we love that and meeting
all the peoples. So we would love for you to come.

at their trivia stuff because you know, we love good
trivia too. Maybe we're going to create our own little
bar crawl.
