Attention Bechdel Cast listeners, see a woo. We're here to
tell you about the live shows that we have coming up.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It's a thrilling, thrilling, thrilling thing. Here's the thing. We
are going on tour, and it's not just any tour.
It's the Shrektannic US Tour. We have three upcoming live
shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland, Oregon. And
if you're in a city that's not those cities and
you're like, what the fuck, why don't they ever come

to see me? Well, guess what. We're live streaming two
of these motherfuckers. Details ahead, Yes, oh, Caitlyn so Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
The show is January nineteenth at Dynasty Typewriter. It's a
little four pm matinee. This is one of the live
stream shows. However, this is not necessarily part of the
Shrektannic Tour because this is more of a Bechdel Cast celebrate.
We're going to be having some of your favorite past
guests who have been on the show over the years.

(01:06):
They will be doing a stand up set or some
solo little bit. Yeah, we're gonna be doing stand up.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Jamie and myself and We're gonna just like celebrate our
favorite parts of this show. We've never because our five
year anniversary was during lockdown. We had plans.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
To do this like big, like look at us.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
We've been around for half a decade show and it's
been three years since then, and so.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
We been eighty four years.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
It's been eighty four years. We've never done a show
to not just celebrate the show, but also our fans
and our favorite guests that live in the LA area.
So it'll be super fun. Highly recommend checking that out.
It'll just be a variety show extravaganza. And also my
mom will be there gasp. Yeah, Jill will be there.

And the last time she came to a Bechdel cast show,
she hit on the guest, so.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Oh my god, relentlessly flirted with our.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Guest and he was into it and he DMed her afterwards.
So anything could really happen Jill. When Jill's loose at
the show, anything could happen. Maybe Jill will do a set. Honestly,
WHOA Anything's possible.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Anything can't wait. And the only way that you'll find
out what's happening is if you buy a ticket to
the LA show or buy a live stream ticket. Again,
this is one of the shows we're live streaming, so
and again, if you cannot watch the show as it
is being live streamed, you can still buy a ticket
and you'll have access to a link that's live for

like the week afterwards to be able to watch the stream,
so you can still catch it within a week of
the show happening.

Many options. I do think that this show, my prediction
is that it will go down in history as Jill
loftisk goes Hollywood. Yeah, and then our shows in San
Francisco and Portland are a part of the shrctanic ouvra.
So in San Francisco that is a part of San
Francisco's sketch Fest. We go every year. We love sketch Fest.

That is going to be a Titanic show. That is
the only show on this tour that will not be
live streamed.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Correct, and that is January twenty third at Club Fugazi
Fugazzi so beautiful space. So if you want to see
the Titanic leg of the Shrek Tannic Tour, you gotta
be there in person in San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
But if you're a Shrek head, you're in luck.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Because the Portland show on January twenty sixth at one
of our favorite theaters, Curious Comedy Theater, is the Shrek
leg of the Shrek Tannic Tour, and it's being live streamed,
so if you don't live in Portland, you can still
catch the live stream. Same deal as the La show,
where even if you're not able to watch it as

it's being live streamed, you'll buy a ticket. You'll have
access to the stream for about a week afterward.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And if you know about any of our buddies that
live in Portland, you know that there might be some.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Surprise Shreks at the show. Wow. Yeah, we can't wait
to be back on tour.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I highly recommend I mean the live stream setups at
both Dynasty Typewriter and Curious Comedy. You'll feel like you're there.
The last time we went to Curious Comedy and live
stream to show, I accidentally threw a knife at the audience.
So if you get a digital ticket, you will definitely survive.
So there is that's the guarantee of the live stream ticket.

This is so true, unless it's something like The Ring
