I think we've obviously seen a franchisealmost completely change its vector in the
last year. I don't want tomake this seem like I'm anti Texans are
all, if anything. Yeah,as I pointed out to you, I
was higher on Stroud than Young comingout I thought Will Anderson was the best
player in the drafts regardless of position. I love the off season moves of

last year. I thought that,you know, it definitely had a I
almost felt felt like them like Ido about the Washington Commanders now, Like
everything they did last offseason excited me, and everything they did during the season
more than backed it up. Icouldn't have predicted what they did last year.
But progress isn't linear in this league, and that that progressive, you

know, one step at a timething. It doesn't always happen. There
are there are steps backward all thetime in the NFL. And you know,
I've even argued this offseason that theTexans are a better team on paper
now than they were one year ago. And that's exactly the direction you want
to go as far as talent,right, you don't want to be going

the wrong direction. But that doesn'tguarantee more wins. And I think the
schedule is going to be, atleast the second half of it, it's
gonna be an issue. And Idon't know that they have as clear a
runway as I think some people feelthey do. This doesn't mean they're not

the second round out of Notre Dame, do you see starter potential at some
point in the rookie season for him? A good question, you know,
it's he's a really interesting guy.I don't know that I would have considered

him a second rounder in January,but the more people I talked to is
clear that there was a growing affectionfor him. I mean, before they
played a game at Notre Dame,he was considered the better recruit than Joe
All. I mean that's something tostart with right there. Like talent wise,
I don't think there's any question there'sSome people have kind of whispered that
he needs to play with a littlemore edge. Some people have said,

hey, maybe he's better at guard. You know, it kind of depends
what their vision is for him andhow pro ready he's going to be from

I think there there's more there thanI realized initially when I started scouting him.

know that I would have endorsed it, but the more I watched them,

team like Houston can say, hey, we can we can rob one of

the long time conference powerhouses. Right. For five years, the Bills have
been, you know, a reallytough team and up and coming team,
the kind of team that the Texansare slowly becoming, I think. But
you know that that's a good feeling. That's not to say that Steph doesn't

he'll be on his best behavior,so to speak, and and try to
fall line with the team element.But you never know, he's also in
that Antonio Brown stage of his career. It's like could go one of two
ways, like he could be afuture Hall of Famer or things could go
