Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast am on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
And welcome back to Coast to Coast George Norri with you.
Vernon Mahubble back with us, Founder and director of the
Palmistry Institute in Portland, Oregon. Vernon has formal training in Vedic,
which is Eastern cosmology, which has taken him to India
many times. He combines Eastern and Western astrological disciplines into
his practices, reads palms. He's got a book i'll called
(00:27):
Talk to the Hand as well. Vernon, my friend.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Welcome back, Hi George, thanks for having me back.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Looking forward to this, and let me ask you before
we get rolling. There was a double shooting in Portland,
Oregon today where you are by custom officers with two people.
How are things there? Are they calm?
Speaker 1 (00:49):
You know?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Interestingly, all the bad stuff happens in a very little
area within Portland, and the rest of Portland just seems
to go on as usual. So thank god, so so far,
so good out there, right, I think?
Speaker 2 (01:06):
So yeah, we're going to talk about predictions. How do
you predict? How do you do this?
Speaker 3 (01:15):
The best way is to have people send me photos
of their hands through a phone, or if I was
to do them in person. Otherwise, if I have to
do it like in a remote way, like as in
remote viewing, I hear the sound of a person's voice
(01:35):
and I kind of visualize them looking at their own hand.
So there's various ways of doing it. But BAMASP is
both an astrological art and a very intuitive art.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
That's how we'll do it tonight through remote viewing. But
you make predictions on your own, how do you do
it for yourself?
Speaker 3 (01:57):
You mean individually?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, And if you're going to talk about the state
of twenty twenty six and stuff, how does that come
to you?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Well, if you look at enough people in a particular area,
you're going to be able to see the trends of
the situations that are going on in that area. So
if you're constantly seeing Americans hands, let's say, and you're
looking at their work and their career, you're going to
(02:27):
see stuff about the economy, You're going to see stuff
about social trends. And of course, if you're also having
a client tell that is from different countries or different
areas in the world, and you see enough of those people,
then you're going to be able to predict things that
are happening overseas also.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Well, let me ask you the big question right now, then,
what do you see between the US and Venezuela anything.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
I have to say that I haven't been really totally
keeping tabs on it, but I want to say, astrologically,
it is a very tense period right now. Astrologically, I
see that on everybody's hands, and everybody's feeling the tension,
and everybody's stressed out about it, and it is a
(03:18):
very tense time in our world. I will say to
you happily, in about two and a half years, maybe
a little less, the planets start going into much more
favorable positions, much more what we call auspicious positions. It
(03:38):
starts to get better slowly in about a year and
and a half. But by two years two and a
half years, we're going to see a better world, George.
We're gonna see a nicer world, a much more peaceful world.
Things are gonna calm down considerably. The planets right now, George,
could not be in the most tenacious positions, and that's
(04:03):
why we're feeling it in our country and around the world.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Everybody's feeling it, and everybody is feeling it right.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Now, everybody's feeling it. Even if we have a good
job and we're making money and we're our family's doing well,
we're still being tensed out by what's going on in
the rest of the country or the rest of the world.
It's a very difficult time. Like I say, George, it
is one of the most tenacious times astrologically, the planets
(04:34):
are really really terrible positions. But having said that, the
future is bright and I'm not trying to be Pollyanna
about it. I'm not being but just as everything you
know it goes down, it will go back up, and
in about two and a half to three years we're
(04:56):
going to see a much more peaceful, w world. So
I'm looking forward to that.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Bernin When you look at the hands of a baby,
a teenager, a midterm adult, an older adult, do you
see different things because based on their age, Well.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
For instance, if you're going to look at a child,
let's say three or four, you are going to see
you're going to be able to see what their psychology is,
You're going to be able to see what their inclinations are.
When they're even in their twenties and thirties and forties,
the difficulty is getting them to keep their hands open
(05:37):
long enough, right. But even in someone who's a child
of three or four, we can see what he or
she is going to do in their life, what their
talents are, what their abilities are. Are they going to
be a rock star, They're going to get into film,
(05:59):
are they going to be an architect? We can see
all of that. And of course, to fully answer your question,
if we look at people who are like in their
thirties or forties or fifties, we can also see the
changes that they they are going to go through. And
that's also obvious in someone if we're looking at them
when they're twenty years old. So we're not a society anymore, George,
(06:23):
where everybody just like their whole life, they stay a
farmer or a carpenter. Everybody goes through changes, and there
are many changes that people go through in their career,
sometimes in the decade of change. But we're able to
(06:46):
see that. And that's the interesting thing. All of these
all of these changes that a person will go through,
all the talents that they bring in, all the abilities,
all the changes in the career can be seen from
a five a person of five years.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Truly remarkable. When you look at the palm of a person,
what do you look for?
Speaker 3 (07:12):
My inclination is to focus on one's career. I like
to look at what a person will be successful in
and what a person will be fulfilled in. And I
really do believe that the adage that if you do
what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.
(07:32):
So my job, or my goal, so to speak, is
to let a person know what their exact career should
be and where they will actually prosper and be fulfilled.
And of course I have to also look at relationships stuff.
I also have to look at location stuff. Location, George
(07:55):
is a big deal now everybody wants to know. Everybody's
thinking where's the best place to live? Where? Where? Where
will doors open for me? So it wasn't that way
ten years ago, but it's become that way now. Location, location, location,
it's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Does the palm change at all when you're reading it
over the years.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Well, that's it. That's a that's a very interesting question
because let's say a person has the ability to be
successful as an architect, and if she goes into architecture,
you're going to be able to see that she's going
to capitalize on her talents and skills. But what can
(08:44):
change is, let's just say she ends up as a secretary,
or she she had lacks a little bit of fear
to actually go into design, architectural design and that type
of thing. So hands will Hands don't exactly change, but
they show the changes that people go through. And sometimes
(09:06):
you just have to realign a person and let them
know no, that actually you're born to be an interior
decorator or a designer, You're born to be an architect.
And one hundred percent of the time, George, when you
tell someone that, they'll always say, oh my god, that's
exactly what I really want to do.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
And you're seeing some amazing qualities I hear in the
hands of sixteen to twenty eight year.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Olds, Yes, and I'm very impressed by what I see.
They are going to change the world in a very
good way once they're able to move into the world.
Right now, that generation, most of them live at home.
And it's understandable because your problem, the problem with that generation,
(09:55):
or it's not just that generation, but the problem with
the situation, George, is that they don't know where to
fit in right now. It's not like in the sixties
or the seventies or eighties, where you could just get
a job and afford a house and buy a car
and you know, have a family. It's it's a lot
harder right now because our society is in such flux, uh.
(10:17):
And it's it's it's it's hard for them to find
their place in our society. Having said that, when when
when I was saying to you that our world gets
better at about two and a half three, two and
a half three years, the planets get in better positions
around two than twenty nine, thirty thirty one, thirty two.
(10:41):
That generation is going to really make their mark in
society and the and the wonderful thing about that generation
is that they're very very moral. They they have a
very strong outlook of what is right and what is wrong,
not just in a religious way, they may have that too,
(11:04):
but they are also a very very sane generation. And
they're not that much into drugs or illicit sex or
intoxication and that type of stuff too. They're actually quite
controlled in their sensual gratification, not like generations that have
(11:24):
come before them. But they're a very strong generation. And
they even though they may seem a bit weak right now.
It's simply because they can't find their place in our society.
But they, like I say, they have strong character, they
have strong morals. They're going to know what is right
and what is wrong, and they're going to really make
(11:47):
this world a better place. And this will happen very,
very strongly in about four or five six years.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
I'm talking to our palm reader, Vernon Marvel. His website
is linked up at coast tocoastdam dot com. So what
do you think of the rest of twenty twenty six
as we get into it? Now? Is this new year
going to be okay? Or do you prefer we move ahead?
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Well, I would say to you that I'm My first inclination,
of course, is to look at the economic thing when
I look at people's hands in a general way, and
I think our economy is going to not suffer so much.
I mean, in other words, there will be problems, there
will be difficulties. The housing market will be a tough
(12:35):
one for sure, but our economy is not going to flounder.
It's going to have its ups and its downs. It's
going to be like we're seeing right now. But the
rest of the world situation. My god, George, it is tense.
It is is it's a tense situation, and I almost
(12:57):
don't want to look at it. And I'm gonna say
to you that there's a lot of difficulties going on
with the Ukraine, in Russia and Venezuela and Iran, Iran.
Yeahron's collapsing. But I'm gonna say to you that the
the hotspot, the what the place, and I'm worried the most,
(13:20):
and is uh between Pakistan and India. I'm worried about
that the most. Uh. That's not really portraying itself yet,
but if if if one of the two countries attack
each other, that could bring in the two superpowers, Russia
and America. So that's what I'm worried about the most.
(13:44):
Having said that, of course, there will be lots of
tension and stress and anxiety throughout the world, but our
economy is not going to get any worse, if you will,
than it is now. Of course, there will be some
some struggles and oppositions, but we'll be able to get
through twenty six Okay, it'll be much of more of
(14:06):
what we've what we're going through right now.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Let's say Brennan What are you looking at that allows
you to say this year will be different from next
year or the year after. What do you what do
you use as a basis.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
My basis is that if you're looking at let's say
you're reading, you know, two or three hands a day,
and you're seeing trends over and over again in the
economy or the social aspects, then you can make predictions basically. So,
(14:42):
for instance, if I'm looking at hands in hands from California,
I'm going to be able to make some predictions about California.
If I'm seeing hands from let's say Miami or Florida,
I'm going to be able to, you know, see the
same repeated patterns over and over, and I'm going to
(15:03):
be able to make accurate predictions.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
See, but the hands don't change from one year you're
doing next, do they?
Speaker 3 (15:10):
Well, the situation has changed from from one year to
the next. In other words, just as is, if you
can see a person will be prospering for five or
six years, and then they might go through a little
bit of a difficult time after that for a few years,
and then get back to normal again, that's what you're
looking at. You're looking at repeated patterns. You're looking at
(15:36):
repeated trends. So if you're seeing lots of clients and
they're doing really well, let's say in a particular industry,
you're going to know that that industry is going to
do really well. For instance, in the next few years.
I really see the fitness industry moving forward. So those
(15:56):
people who like to buy stocks and bonds and invest
in let's a you know, subtype of fit, fitness or
vitamins or something, do what you need to do. Because
the world of fitness and the world of sports and
everything to do with the upkeep of the physical body, vitamins, nutrients,
(16:21):
that's really going to be a very, very very growing
part of our economy in the next few years.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Now, they say Las Vegas is having some problems. Attendance
is way down. People just aren't going there right now.
If you were going to go to Vegas and look
at Las vegas people's hands and palms, what might you see.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Yes, this is a wonderful question, George. It's the same
thing in California. The planets overhead of California and Nevada
are in very very very tenuous positions. They're not in
strong positions. It's and so let's say in the nineteen
(17:08):
eighties and nineties in California, especially like Los Angeles or
San Francisco, planets were in wonderful positions. They were in
what we call in astrology auspicious positions. They were in
very fortunate positions. So the economy was great, people were happy.
There was a glamour or glitz to La You remember that.
(17:32):
Why isn't it there anymore? Because the planets overhead are
again in very very difficult, very tenacious, very tense positions.
So it's not just the political situation that is contributing
to this. Of course, obviously it's allowing that to happen.
But what's going on is that overhead in Las Vegas,
(17:56):
in California like that, the planets are just not in
very very advitagious positions. Whereas you look at a place
like Florida, especially Miami and Tampa, planets overhead are in
very very very good positions. So the economy is good,
(18:16):
people feel happy, things are moving forward, and so that's
what you look at. And in order to see that,
if you see enough people from Las Vegas, people who
own things, people own casinos, people who go and gamble,
people who live in Las Vegas. If you see enough
people from that part of the area, you can see
(18:37):
what's going on astrologically above their head.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
