about his new documentary called Moment of Contact, New Revelations
of Alien Contact and this has to do with an
episode in Virginia, Brazil that happened back in nineteen ninety six.
James tell us what happened.

Hey, thanks again. It's New Revelations of Alien Encounters. And
one thing I would love to mention very quickly for
those of you who want to watch it. This is
something I just found out about a couple of days ago.
You have to turn on the subtitles because the first
twenty minutes is all in English, and then after that
people have been complaining, I can't read this, there's no subtitles. Well,

it when I heard about the case. Back in the
late nineties, I was working on Out of the Blue
and I had a new partner, I had my old

partner Borse. We still partners to this day. And I
had a new partner, this British guy named Tim Coleman,
and I was mapping out as I do, as one does.
I was mapping out the film. You know, I take
really broad strokes when I proposing an idea for a documentary,
and I, you know, I'll get a chalkboard or something,
(01:26):
and I was like, Hey, I'm going to cover the
Phoenix Lights, or let's cover a little bit of Roswell,
or how about bent Waters or you know, or Tehran
Iron in the seventies. And my buddy goes, he's a
new partner. He goes, yeah, you know, mate, there's this
incredible case. It happened in Brazil and these live ails.
It was a UFO grash with these live aliens walking

through the town. And I'm not kidding you, George. I
literally thought to myself immediately, like complete immediate reaction was
this guy's out of his bloody mind. I picked I
clearly picked the wrong partner because this guy is unstable
mentally and I will have nothing to do with that case.

And I refuse to read one sentence because I thought
it can't be Therefore it isn't. And years and years
and years later when I was when I made the
first cut of Moment of Contact. My buddy Tim lives
in Egypt now part Egypt and a little bit of London.

He called me.

I was like, you know, buddy, how mate, I was
the one that told you about that case and you absolutely,
you know, dismissed it so quickly, and I was so
cross with you, and you know, and I said, you know, Tim,
You're right, I did. I did dismiss that.

I'll tell you what, I'm going to give you a
special thanks in the credits. And he really actually appreciated
that because he was the one that introduced me to
the case. I just refused to look into it. And
I'll tell you, over ten years went by. I made
Out of the Then I did a director's cut Out
of the Blue. That took me a couple of years.

Then I made the two hour special I know what
I saw for the History Channel.

Well I sold it.

I did it on spec and sold it to the
History Channel. And then I was invited to Brazil and
it was probably two thousand and ten or twenty eleven,
and I was going to this place called Betro Web
and it was a conference put on by Ajjavar, and
I was like, well, hell, I've never been to Brazil.
I'd love to go to Brazil. I'd invited as all

expenses paid. And so I was talking to a buddy
of mine who's been very helpful in you know, distribution,
just over the years. And his name is Jeff Sigansky.
He used to run Sunny Pictures.

Oh yeah, Jeff's a good guy.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yep, Jeft's a great guy. And Jeff goes, oh, James,
you're going to Brazil again. This was like twenty eleven,
and I heard about the late nineties, so this is
like at least twelve years later. I hear this. You know,
oh you're going to Brazil.

You got to look into that Virginia case in Brazil
where the live aliens. And I thought, oh, my lord,
not this. I can't believe Jeff. I have so much
respect for him. How could he possibly think this case
is real? Like, but I had so much respect for him,
and I was so appreciative of all the help he'd
given me over the years. I didn't react the same
way I'd react with Tim Coleman. I lied to him

and I said, well, when I get to Brazil, I'll
look into it for you, no problem, and I'll report back.
You got a buddy click And I was like, Yeah,
that ain't gonna happen. I get to Brazil. I'm in
a place called Betoebe and I remember sitting out. They
had these like restaurants and it was on the coast.
They had these restaurants. It would spill out onto the
streets and across the sidewalks. It was beautiful. And then

these cars they're going up and down the strip and
these cars are drive by, and Stanton Friedman was with
us and we're all having like we're having pizza. They
Brazil has chocolate pizza and there's like chocolate pizza coming out.
Stanton free eating chocolate pizza and I'm talking and there
are these cars that would drive by. It was like

rolling the strip back and forth with this really loud
rap music and Stanton goes, uh, the frequency of that
music is very uh, you know, upsetting her. Yeah, he
talked about the frequency of the thick of the bass
or something. It was really funny his reaction to it.
But the topic of Vargenia came up, and again I
(05:28):
just have nothing but respect for Stanton Friedman. And Stanton
looked at me and he's like, yeah, you don't know
about Varginia. And I said, well, yeah, I mean I've
heard about it, but I mean he goes, you know, James,
I looked into it. I think it might have been
around two thousand and two when he looked into it,
so that had been like four to six years after
the incident, probably out six years something like this. And

he's like, you know, I met a lot of the
witnesses and the girls, and he goes, you know, James,
that it could just turn out to be the roswell
of Brazil.

I would went better than ron Yep.

I wouldn't be so dismissive. And it was because of
Stanton primarily, and obviously if I met this other guy,
Marc o'leal that that I said, okay, I'll look into it.
I really will look into it.

When I found so fascinating about the cases, there are
so many witnesses who corroborate each other, and they didn't
even know each other, but they liked the story about
the smell, and yeah, it was coming from different people
saying the same thing. It was incredible, but go ahead.

Yeah, well, so I'll quickly give an overview of it.
In January of nineteen ninety six, it's probably Honor. Around
mid January of nineteen ninety six, a number of people
witnessed a cigar shaped craft about a little larger than

a school bus, an American school bus, shaped like a cigar,
cylindrical like it described it as being metallic colored, almost
like polished aluminum, and but it but it had no
visible propulsion, It had no wings, no tail. Some witnesses

described it like a submarine floating in the sky, and
a lot of them, most of them that I met
with personally, said that it had like a tear at
the back of it, and it had a weird white
vapor coming out, and then it was struggling to stay aloft.
I interviewed a couple of farmers, or Lena de Fretas
(07:36):
and her husband. I also interviewed another gentleman, Fabio Fortado,
and I interviewed another gentleman, Carlinos Desosa. And then for
the first time h in the history of of of
the case, I got Google Maps, and I started getting
(07:58):
the locations of all the various people that witnessed the
allegedly witnessed this cigar shaped UFO in distress, and I
got their addresses and then I correlated this with Google
Maps and I put in the film and it all
lined up perfectly. I was just shocked at how everything
(08:19):
lined up, the various witnesses. And Carlo Sisoso was an
ultra light pilot. He was a geography professor in salth
Palo and he was heading up to the state amenist
at Ice, which is where Virginia is, and he was
really early in the morning, and he said that he
saw that cigar shaped crap and he's thinking to himself,
(08:41):
my god, what is that. He was driving on the
freeway and he's like, this thing's going to crash, and
it did. It came crashing down into a field and
he turned off the freeway and he went up to
this place called the Myodemi Farm and just I don't know,
maybe ten twelve miles as the row flies, outside of
(09:01):
the town of Virginia was roughly one hundred thousand population.

Is that the guy who thought he was at a
place where it was a white house and he thought
it was taken down was torn down and then you
found that white house.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Yeah, I found the white house with the drone actually
because we couldn't find the impact. It was funny, it
was like twenty six years later when we took him
up there and he could he couldn't find the impact side,
and I'm thinking, well, this isn't off to a good start,
and he kept talking about this white house, this small
white house got a blunca, and ultimately we found it
and got to the crash site. Now there is different.

I just recently, just a few weeks ago, I was
back in Brazil again. I went there four times in
the last twelve months, and I've been going back and
forth since twenty eleven. And there's all types of researchers
because the case is kind of in the limelight again
all across Brazil because of the movie, because of the
thirtieth anniversary. People are speculating how the entities either they

had an escape pod or how they got from that
looktion to where the entities were seen almost a week later.
And there's lots of speculation, but in any case, roughly
a week later, on the twentieth of January, three girls
came within eight to ten feet in broad daylight at
about three twenty in the afternoon. It was very hot
(10:18):
January summer, the peak of summertime in Brazil, and these
girls came within eight to ten feet of a creature
that had a large head, It had brown skin. It
had not horns, but they were like kind of bumps
projecting on the forehead.

And one of them who had draw a picture of
their foot.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Or yeah, I did, the mother, the mother who saw
the foot one of the footprints, and then there were
other people in town. There was allegations of an earlier
capture in the morning and then a later capture in
the afternoon. In fact of these creatures, these creatures were scared,
they were cowering in fear. They could communicate through the

eyes somewhat telepathically. One of the women, actually all women
got I got a telepathic message when they made eye
contact with this creature. It was like three and a
half to four feet tall. It has been stimilid eyes
right with red eyes. Now, the interesting thing, and I'll
get into that in a minute, is we just found

out we'd known about an earlier capture, which we reported
on with the fire department, and there were other people involved.
But we had been trying to get to the former
chief of Police. Pedro agriad for a long time, for
years and years and years, and he almost he almost
agreed to meet with us in the first cut that

was released in twenty twenty two, but it didn't work out.
He was like trying to grab a bar so open
the bathtub. Like you know, people are conflicted, they want
to come forward, They're worried about the consequences, concerned about
their family. I mean, there's a whole host of reasons
why people are reluctant to come forward.

But Drew got him this time.

We got him this time. But that but but here's
the interesting thing is that I found out that there
is another uh capture in the morning and now for
the first time, we got because he said, he goes
I was, I was. I participated in the incident. I participated,
I saw the creature was under He was describing it

really in vague terms. It's like he didn't want he
wanted to talk about it, but he didn't want to
go into too much detail. But I tracked down the
former chief of police, kids, his his wife now a widow,
his mistress, all of his children, his son, his two sons,
his two daughters, and Uh, they all say oh yeah,
he told us that he saw the creature that he

was he participated, but he wouldn't go into much more detail.
It was as if he was trying to protect us.
And our father was a chief of police. He went
after drug dealers. He was he packed a gun. He
wasn't afraid of anybody, but apparently he was terrified of
the men in dark suits. That's what the kids just
told me a few weeks ago. But in any case,
so there was a morning capture and afternoon capture, and

there's a lot of speculation that there were a lot
more than that, but those are we have two information,
solid information.

And one of the creatures died, right, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
There's another creature that died, but there were two key
creatures that we were ninety nine point nine percent sure
that we're both alive.

That witness he said that somebody from the United States
Air Force flew in and took their bodies and took yes,
it took the creatures right.

that that he was on duty honor around the twentieth
of January and ann ousaf is what he called it
plane was coming in from America, and it didn't have
authorization from the Brazilian government, which you have to have

in order to land or even be in the airspace,
and they didn't have it. And just when he was
going to deny entry to the USAF airplane, a high
level military officer from Brazil stepped in the room and said,
let the plane land, and it landed in Campenas. Now,
all the witnesses that we talked to said the creatures
were taken from one hospital, which is hospital regional, to

another hospital, hospital humanited to us, and there was another
one bonapart or something.

But you had a doctor who invited you to that hospital,
did you not?

Yeah, so that was oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So we
had known from previous testimony in you know, much earlier
than twenty twenty two, for the first cut of the
film that there was definitely at least one that was
brought to regional hospital, but unfortunately we just couldn't get
We'd had some staff members, some nurses say yeah, that

it happened. There's a plack out front saying that it happened,
but we didn't have any firsthand eyewitness testimony until now.

And it was alive, right, It was alive.

It was alive, and it was the morning capture. So
we I think that that being was captured by the
fire department and there were the police of the Chief
of Police Pedro Agudyar witnessed that event. We have that
whole story now and brought that creature to regional hospital
in the morning and they caught it with a net.

But there was another allegedly that was one of them
that was shot and that one died. We have testimony
of the person that witnessed that one. He was part
of as a military base. He's military X in the film.

told me a few weeks ago. But in any case,
so there was a morning capture and afternoon capture, and

there's a lot of speculation that there were a lot
more than that, but those are we have two information,
solid information.

And one of the creatures died, right, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
There's another creature that died, but there were two key
creatures that we were ninety nine point nine percent sure
that we're both alive.

That witness he said that somebody from the United States
Air Force flew in and took their bodies and took yes,
it took the creatures right.

that that he was on duty honor around the twentieth
of January and ann ousaf is what he called it
plane was coming in from America, and it didn't have
authorization from the Brazilian government, which you have to have

in order to land or even be in the airspace,
and they didn't have it. And just when he was
going to deny entry to the USAF airplane, a high
level military officer from Brazil stepped in the room and said,
let the plane land, and it landed in Campenas. Now,
all the witnesses that we talked to said the creatures
were taken from one hospital, which is hospital regional, to
(14:15):
another hospital, hospital humanited to us, and there was another
one bonapart or something.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
But you had a doctor who invited you to that hospital,
did you not?
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, so that was oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So we
had known from previous testimony in you know, much earlier
than twenty twenty two, for the first cut of the
film that there was definitely at least one that was
brought to regional hospital, but unfortunately we just couldn't get
We'd had some staff members, some nurses say yeah, that
(14:48):
it happened. There's a plack out front saying that it happened,
but we didn't have any firsthand eyewitness testimony until now.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
And it was alive, right, It was alive.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
It was alive, and it was the morning capture. So
we I think that that being was captured by the
fire department and there were the police of the Chief
of Police Pedro Agudyar witnessed that event. We have that
whole story now and brought that creature to regional hospital
in the morning and they caught it with a net.
(15:18):
But there was another allegedly that was one of them
that was shot and that one died. We have testimony
of the person that witnessed that one. He was part
of as a military base. He's military X in the film.
