Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya Rad, an iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
And two-time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Hello, everybody.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
We are scrubbing in.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
I just want to give a quick shout out. This
is like not an ad at all. But this quince
cardigan came in the mail like an hour before I
left for New York.
Speaker 5 (00:27):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
I was so excited. I threw it on. I wore
it my flight there, my flight home. I can't take
it off. I'm literally obsessed with it. And they are
a proud sponsor of the podcast. And I just want
to give them a shout out because I'm like obsessed
with this cardigan.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I know.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
I asked the question about if people take multiple outfits
for the plane ride there and back. Yeah. And an
overwhelming response said people normally wear the same outfit there
and back. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I usually just change like the shirt. The under layer. So, like,
feel clean.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Right, right, right.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
But I'll keep, like, the cardigan and I'll usually keep
the pants.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Yeah. I'd bring a whole separate outfit, which I've never
even thought about not.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
I just think airplanes and airports are so dirty.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I know, but then why dirty two things? And then, like,
why take up so much space?
Speaker 4 (01:20):
But putting on the same outfit.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
That you're going to wear on a plane.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
I just like to feel clean on a plane. I'll, like,
I'll take a shower at 10 p.m., go to sleep,
and if I have an early flight, wake up at
4 and shower again.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Yeah, I do that.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
So why would I put on dirty clothes after I
take that effort?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
You put on a clean shirt, but then you put
on the same outer.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yeah, so you just have one outer piece.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
And pants. Mm-hmm. And then the shirt's different.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
But the pants will be the same.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yeah, that was the overwhelming response from people. Mm-hmm. Just
a few were on the side.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Of, I used to be like you. And I usually
wear sweats on planes. I'd have this thick sweat outfit
that I'm packing to go to Cabo. And I'm like,
why am I packing this, taking up all this space?
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I know.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
We're going on a big trip next week. We're going
to Thailand. And Girls Like Girls is coming out in,
I think, a few theaters there. So we're going to go.
And I am trying to pack a carry-on with a
duffel bag. When do you leave again?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Monday the 31st right i'm gonna put that on my calendar.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
And i posted that i was trying to go to
because we're gonna be gone for like a week and
a half and i said oh do you think i
can pack a carry-on and a duffel and people were
like no chance i thought they were gonna be like
absolutely because i also don't like rewiring things that's gonna
be so hot and humid that i don't want to
(02:54):
rewire anything i we might have a laundry unit where
we're staying or they said a resort can wash them
for you. But anyways, I was like, do you think
I can do it without rewearing pieces? And people are like,
no shot. And I thought everyone was going to be like, yeah,
you can do it. Didn't I respond? I said, yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
But everyone seems to be like, just pack a checked bag.
But I don't want to because I don't want to
have to lug it around. We have a layover. I
don't want to be. What if something happens? God forbid.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
That's why I love not checking a bag. That's like
the biggest thing. You know your stuff is going to
be there. You're responsible for it. You're seeing it every
step of the way, especially if you're going to have
to lug it when you're getting to where you're going.
It's so obnoxious to have this giant bag. Like having
carry-ons is... The way to go.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
I know. I'm going to try to do it.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Do you have packing cubes?
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yes. And I got compression packing cubes.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Oh, my gosh. Then you'll 100% be able to do it.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
Well, stay tuned. I'm kind of nervous. I've been like
the furthest I've been is Japan. And I feel like
Thailand's so far away. And I don't know what to expect.
But I'm like really excited to go somewhere new because
before I went on The Bachelor, I wrote this list
of my dreams. My boss at the time, we did
this like day where we just wrote down all of
(04:17):
our dreams and wishes. And I wrote down, I just
want to travel the world. And then literally a few
months later, I got the call about The Bachelor, which ironically,
we stayed in the U.S. like the whole time because
it was Chris, who is a farmer. And we did
go to Bali at the end. And I.
Remember, and so now every time I get to travel somewhere,
I'm like, oh my gosh, this is what I wished for.
(04:38):
But I do get, I am kind of nervous about
this one. Just because it feels far.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
It is very far.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
So, and it feels very unfamiliar, you know?
Speaker 5 (04:48):
Right.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
But I'm excited because it's going to be like a
totally different culture. I'm so excited about eating Thai food
and just, you know, going somewhere totally new. But I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I think you should try Carry On.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
I'm going to. I'm going to try.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
And then if I'm overwhelmed, I did eight days with
a carry on and I had stuff to spare.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Really?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yeah. The underwear I had to rewash, which I don't
like to do. So now I'm like, that's my motto
is like overpack underwear. Cause I go through underwear, like hotcakes.
Like I usually go through three, three, four pair a day. Three,
four pair a day. So I wake up and I
put on a pair to like go get breakfast, usually
at the hotel.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Then I come back to the room. If we, depending on,
The type of vacation, if we go work out, I'll
put on a different pair or I'll put on a
bathing suit.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
So when we come back, I'll put on underwear when
I come back. Then I'll usually shower and I'll put
on another pair to like go to dinner. And then
I have my pair that I sleep in. Oh.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
It's a lot of underwear.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Wow. There's a lot of. feels like a lot of
unnecessary changes in there well underwear I don't.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Mess with because I'm like once it's dirty it's dirty
I don't need to be wearing that all day I
don't need to be like sweating in it and.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
Then no I agree yeah no I agree yeah yeah
normally I just do you know one to go to
breakfast and I change it to a swimsuit and then
if I take a shower I stay in a robe
and then put the underwear.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
On before you go to dinner yeah but what if
you come back and you shower and it's like three
o'clock you're not going to dinner till seven you just
don't put any underwear on.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
You're just free ball If I'm just in the hotel? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Just like sit on the couches with like your crotch out?
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I'm not sitting on the couch. Well, in like a
robe or something. Or pants.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Feels cold.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
There's some people that just don't wear, like even with
jeans and stuff.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
I couldn't imagine.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
No, I can't.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
No, I need her covered and protected at all times.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Yeah, multiple times a day, it seems.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah, yeah. Actually, you know, I need new underwear. I
need more underwear.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Okay, I did not expect this episode to go into
underwear conversation, but I bought... I was just reading about
how you should be wearing mostly cotton underwear.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Welcome to 2020 when I said this for the first time.
I love the.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Thongs that are like that spandexy like no show material
so I've always gone for those no no no but
I found some that are like 90 something percent cotton
and they're very different it's Victoria's Secret oh they do yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
So again this is so where they were having this
conversation but you know that little like I don't even
know how to describe it but like the landing strip
the landing strip on a underwear like on a thong
most thongs will make that part cotton and Even if
the actual underwear itself that's, like, going up your butt
and stuff isn't cotton, they'll make the landing strip cotton.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
Right.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
So at least you can rest assured that, like, I
feel like most underwear have that.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
I like to go 100% full cotton.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Every part that's going up my butt, around my sides.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Everywhere. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah. I like cotton.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Yeah, so I just made the switch to those as well.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
They're not 100%, but pretty close. It's a hard switch.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
It's a hard switch once you get those, once you're
used to those no-shows and the really, like, smooth ones.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
These granny panties.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
I'm not wearing granny panties.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Oh, you're not?
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Well, you ought to sleep in, but.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
You walk around in grannies?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Depends on what I'm wearing.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:28):
Good.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
I'm not ashamed of it.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Exposure therapy.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
We were like, I'm like the fact that I was
15 years old, 13 years old with a, like a
piece of. string coming up my butt no like like
some of those were.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Insane what we wore what we wore like it was
like literally dental floss up my butt just like shaking
around in there it's disgusting when you think about it
shaking what was shaking around in there yeah if i
was like twerking in the.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Club nothing's going.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Just flossing flossing the cheeks No, I was thinking about
my first ever thong was this like teeny tiny strip.
And then the print was cherries, like a cherry denim thong.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
Denim.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Denim.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
The strap was denim, if you can imagine.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Yeah, I can imagine. Like the underwear that I used
to wear because I used to think like it mattered
or like, I don't know. It's so weird. how self-conscious
i was about my underwear when i was younger yeah
and now.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Like 17 year old tanya would be shook to see
the granny cotton.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Granny the 100 full cotton panties that she's wearing now
oh my gosh 17 year old me would be like.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
What have you become literally but she'd be proud that
you're more.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Comfortable and uti free and uti free most importantly exactly Well,
we have some Dear Banya.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Should we get going?
Speaker 3 (10:03):
You want to change the subject?
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Well, I just didn't have anything else to say after
the visual of you twerking in the club and your
strength on.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
We've all been there.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
No?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Mark? I can't say I have. This is from Anonymous.
I'm 30 and I've been with my boyfriend for a while.
We're talking about moving in together. I'm excited. I feel ready,
but there's one thing holding me back. I've never lived alone.
I had roommates in college. Since then, I've been living
with my parents. Part of me feels like living alone
is an important life experience. I'll regret skipping. But another
(10:36):
part of me wonders if I'd just be wasting money
and delaying something I already know I want. I'd also
be moving into my boyfriend's existing place, so I worry
it might feel a little more like his home than ours.
For some reason, I feel a little late in the
game to move out on my own for a year
just to say I did it. At the same time,
it might be my last chance to ever really live
by myself. What do you guys think is the best
(10:56):
thing to do here? Can't wait to hear what you
have to say. Love you all so much.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Do you have an opinion?
Speaker 4 (11:04):
I think living alone and having your own place is
invaluable time. Because you're learning the things that you... like
for your own home and you're getting to make those
decisions without having to like, it's almost like you get
(11:25):
to have a selfish time of your life where everything
is what you want it to be. And I think
that's a really fun time, but I also see your
point of if this is your person and wanting to
move in together, but it might be a tough adjustment.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Here's my thing. I'm not somebody that's going to be like, Oh,
I think you have to live alone because like you
should have that experience and yada, yada, yada. Like if
you found the person you want to be with and
you want to like get engaged, get married and just
move in with this person, like I'm all for that.
But I didn't see you say here that you said
you're talking about moving in together, but you're not talking
(12:04):
about getting engaged and you still have this feeling that
you want to live alone. You said you've never lived
alone and you feel like you want to have that experience.
So I feel like now is the perfect time to
do it because you're not engaged and So why not
get your own place for a short period of time?
Try and get a six month lease if you can.
Six months to a year. Do it for six months
(12:26):
to a year. And then after you get engaged or
even after you get married, then you move in. Like
now's your time to do it. If you don't do
it now, it's now or never. It's now, now, now, now, now, now,
now or never.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Thank you. Um, I agree. I, I, my advice would
be to find a six month, like short-term lease, have
that experience. And also when your boyfriend comes over, see
how he treats your space, because then when you move
in together, you'll kind of have an idea of how
he lives, how he, how he'll work with your life
(13:00):
and your style. And then maybe there's a world where
y'all can get a place together. So you're not having
to move into his home and it just feels like
his place. But I think it's, I agree. I think
you're not engaged yet. You want the experience of living alone.
And why not? If not now, when?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Literally, this is your chance.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
It is now or never.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
It's not now or never because, and I hope everything
goes well.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
They might not get engaged.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
I hope, I just would, if you're, if this is
your person and you see things moving in the, in
the direction of getting engaged in this being the person
that you spend your life with, then I think do
it now.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Why not? I don't think it's, I don't think you'll
see it as wasting money. I think you'll see it
as finding your independence and finding what you love and
how you want a home to feel.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
I have such fond memories of when I lived alone.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Like that was such a time. I would sit on
my couch. If I was hungover, I would sit on
my couch all day long on a Saturday. I would
post my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would not move
off of that couch and feel no guilt about it.
Speaker 6 (14:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
And do nothing. If I needed to do housework, I
would do it the next day.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Because nobody.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
It's just you.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
It's just me.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
It's fun. It is fun.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
And you're in a place where you, you know, can
have the company if you want him to come over.
But you also have the freedom to be alone. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Here, have a key. You want a key? You want
a drawer?
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Here's some of the closet.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
So our advice is see if you can find a
little short term lease and go have that experience, girl.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
And so fun. Give us updates. Okay, we have a
cousin that wants to have weddings at the same time.
Sounds tricky.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Let's take a break. We'll come back.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
We're back.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Anonymous, my cousin and I got engaged three weeks apart.
My fiance and I knew we wanted to get married
next summer, so we started planning right away, found a
venue that's really meaningful to me and my family. Before
choosing a date, I reached out to my cousin because
she technically got engaged first and wanted to make sure
we weren't planning our weddings too close together to make
sure the family could, we don't want to make the
family have to choose between them. She said they hadn't
(15:26):
started planning or even thought of a date yet, so
we had booked it, got done, done deal. A couple
weeks later, My cousin called and asked if we would
consider having our weddings at the same time so our
family wouldn't have to travel twice in one year. I
was shocked. These are our weddings, not a joint birthday party.
Am I the a-hole for not even wanting to consider this?
Speaker 4 (15:48):
No, I don't think you're an a-hole for this.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
It's such a TV sitcom thing. Hey, let's have our
wedding together in the backyard. Like, it's not a realistic thing.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Does she mean together?
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Well, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
No, surely this person didn't mean... They would have a
joint wedding. There's no way.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
So what would it be? Same weekend?
Speaker 3 (16:04):
She's saying, hold on. She called and asked if we
would consider having our weddings at the same time. Meaning like,
where are they?
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Are they both on the same Saturday afternoon? So like
the same night, but different venues?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
So they wouldn't have to travel. I'm just confused as
to where. Are they wanting to have their weddings in
the same place?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
It sounds like either on the same weekend or at
the same place. I don't know. Regardless, I don't think
you're an a-hole for not... I think you did the
right thing. You reached out. You're like, hey, do you
have anything? This is what we're doing. And I don't
think that it's fair to expect you to plan your
wedding around what's convenient for the family.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Literally, no.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Yeah, no. This is.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
I agree.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
It's not a birthday party. It's not... It's not a party.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
And also, if you have a destination wedding, no matter
where the destination is, you know... people are going to
say no. It's not going to be easy or convenient
for people. So it's like, just know if you're having
a wedding, that's destination. There will be a lot more
no's than you were anticipating maybe, or just know that
the no's are coming. And it is what it is.
(17:12):
The people who want to come will come.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
I can't tell if they're having the wedding, if they
picked a local venue and people are just having to
travel to them. And so the cousin's like.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
It can't be a local wedding because why would she
ask to do it at the same time? It doesn't
make sense.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Yeah, so that people traveling from out of town don't
have to do it twice.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Oh, it's local for them, but they don't want people
traveling from outside. So she's saying, like, you get married Friday,
we'll get married Saturday, bang it.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
On one weekend. I'd be like, hell to the no. Anonymous,
you're not an a-hole for not wanting to consider. I
think you just say, hey, I understand, like, trying to be,
you know, consider of everyone's travel time, but I don't
want it to feel like we're having to adjust just to...
make it convenient for everybody. So is there any way
(18:01):
you could, I don't really want to do our wedding
at the same time. I don't think you're wrong for
that at all.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
I wouldn't hate a week apart.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
A week apart is fine.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
If you guys aren't traveling, if you're staying in.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
That's a big ask of your guests.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
To stay a week. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
To stay a full week in another city. That's what
I'm saying. You're talking seven, eight nights in a hotel. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I think it just make more sense for her to
space it out and maybe do like later in the
fall or the next spring or something just because they
don't have anything planned. And that way that gives people
plenty of time to, you know, travel again the next year.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
But I think you did the right thing. You reached out,
you asked her and then you book something that meant
something to you and you get to have your moment
and she should understand that.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
And like.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Weddings are an inconvenience. If you're not the bride and groom,
weddings aren't inconvenience, but they're an inconvenience that you want
to do.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Like it is what it is. It just is what
it is. So it's like the people that want to
be there, your family members that maybe don't want to
be there. We'll use it as an excuse. Oh, we
don't want to travel twice in three months or whatever. Fine.
Let them, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Yeah, I just even if you do it in the
same month, I don't think it's don't even say like
I'm down to get married at the same time. But
I also think I don't want to do it the
same weekend. And I think it's a lot to expect
people to stay for a week.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
If somebody came to me and said, could we get
married in Punta Mita if we had like same friends
or something on Saturday? You guys do Friday. We'll take Saturday.
I'd be like, you're not invited anymore.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
What's the point of planning something and putting that much
effort into something just to have it? merged with someone
else yes i think it's different if it's like you
said like a birthday party or celebrating really anything other
than the.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Wedding yes correct.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
So, yeah, you're not an a-hole, and please update us
because I'm very fascinated by this. And I want the
details on, are y'all trying to do a destination wedding
at the same time, or are you doing a local
wedding where people would be coming to y'all? I'm curious.
All right.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
You want to do one more, the fun one, and
then play the game? What do you want to do here?
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Yeah, fun one, play the game. Fun one, play the game.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Alexis, I just heard the podcast where the girl got
the ick with her boyfriend bringing wipes on vacation. I've
been married to my husband for nine years this September.
He really is the greatest guy alive. He's my best
friend and the love of my life. That being said,
if he brought wipes on vacation, I think I would
get the ick. Every time I saw them, I would
(20:37):
just think of his pale little butthole. And I wouldn't
be able to get it out of my head. In fact,
I almost have Vic just thinking about it. So hopefully
the listener can come back from this. I'm a day
one listener and love y'all's podcast.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
You know, things I never thought we would say on
this podcast.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Pay a little butthole.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Pay a little butthole. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (20:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
You said she wouldn't come back from it, right? You
said it was not. I need an update.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Isn't that the definition of the ick? The ick is
something you don't come back from.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
No. Really?
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Because it's early.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
In a relationship. Like, I feel like husbands and wives,
you might get an ick, but you can survive it
because you've made this commitment. It's early in a relationship.
Something happens. You're like, I can't. I'm done. I just
watched him chase a ping pong ball. I'm no longer
attracted to him. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
Chasing the ping pong ball is one of my favorite ones.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
That can get really dark.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
No, like.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Chasing a ping, and like squatting down and like. And
then you kick it on accident.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
It goes further. It's tough. Drinking out of a straw. Tough.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Tough to come back from, let me tell you. Uphill battle.
Speaker 4 (21:42):
But if Robbie was drinking out of a straw?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
I'd love it. I'd be like, I wish I was
that straw. Give me some of that straw.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Oh, it's risky asking me that.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
I'm like literally obsessed with marriage. Like I wish I
would have done it sooner.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Oh, that's so cute.
Speaker 5 (21:57):
I know.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Do you tell him that? All the time.
Speaker 5 (21:59):
Great.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
Does he feel the same?
Speaker 3 (22:01):
Yeah, he just doesn't say it all the time.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Oh, yeah. Have you mentioned the body pillow situation?
Speaker 4 (22:06):
What?
Speaker 2 (22:06):
On this particular program?
Speaker 5 (22:08):
No.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Tanya wants Robbie to sleep with a body pillow.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Robbie does not want to sleep with a body pillow.
And that should be, to me, the end of the conversation.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
Right.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
However, it is not.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
Why?
Speaker 3 (22:21):
My sleep has been exponentially changed. For the rest of
my life because of this pillow. Like it is the
best sleep I have ever had. I will sleep with
this pillow for the rest of my life. Like I
love it. So why would I not want my partner,
my precious little angel partner, to have this amazing sleep
(22:43):
like I am having?
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Because he doesn't want that.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
He doesn't know what he wants.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
But is he sleeping fine?
Speaker 3 (22:52):
He could sleep better.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Why don't you just let him use yours for the night?
I'm trying.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
That's what I'm saying. I'm not going to buy you one.
Why don't you just sleep with mine, even though I
don't want to give it up for the night, but
I would just give it up so you could get addicted,
feel how it feels.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
But does he sleep? Because you sleep on your side. Oh,
he does? Like this. It looks peaceful.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
It is peaceful, but imagine like....
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Sometimes you just have to let people come to their
decisions on their own.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
It goes in between your legs. It wraps around your arms.
It's like the most amazing... Let.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Me try it. Becca. Send me the link. You.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
Would be obsessed with it because it goes between your legs,
but like your whole leg. So like your leg is
like laying, your top leg is like laying on a
full on pillow. And then your arm, you know, when
you're sleeping on your side, everything's like squished over. It's
not because you have this nice pillow to like put
your arm around. And then the other one goes around it.
So it's like, you're not getting a dead arm or
anything like that. And then you don't even need a pillow.
(23:52):
I do have a pillow, but you don't necessarily need
the pillow because it's there.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Send me the link. I'll try it. If Robbie doesn't
want to. We were with someone and their little boy,
he likes to just wear a t-shirt and then nothing
on the bottom. I said, heard of people doing this.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
And he doesn't want his shoulders to get cold.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
No, and that's why I said he likes his shoulders.
I think he likes his shoulders warm from what I
hear from experience.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
I'm telling you though, like you're going to be absolutely shook.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
I'm excited about it. I'm, I'm, I wouldn't say I'm
an amazing sleeper, so I'm willing to try new things.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
It does hinder cuddle time a little bit because now
instead of like when we watch TV, we would like cuddle.
Now I'm just like in my cocoon.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Oh, well we cuddle, watch TV and then I normally
fall asleep and then I.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Go into your side.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
So perfect.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Just keep it there.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Okay. I'll just keep it on the side of me.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
And Sunny loves it too. She just gets like right
in there. She picks me more now because she, like,
loves the pillow.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
Well, to your motives.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
Well, yeah, send me the link. Send me your shop line.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
I'm happy to.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
I'm going to give you, because I have had two.
The second one that I got is, like, even fluffier and, like, better.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
What brand is it?
Speaker 5 (25:10):
No idea.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
I got them on Amazon.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Can't wait to try.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Get a cover for it, though, so you wash that.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
I'll send you both links.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Can't wait.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
Got you.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
We're going to, I think, attempt the number game. Again,
is that what we're doing?
Speaker 2 (25:26):
That's what I was told to do, and I have
numbers prepared for the two of you.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Okay, great. People seem to like it, and hopefully we
get some better, less mathy questions from Tanya today.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Less mathy.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Let's sit back and relax.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
All right.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
We just tried to do the number game and it
was just a disaster.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Yeah, we won't be playing that again.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
We tried. We tried. And I think the first one
was entertaining because Tanya was asking the craziest questions. But
beyond that, we're not very good at it. So we're
actually just going to do the birthday game today.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
Mark!
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Which is where Tanya thrives. Thrives. So that's what we're
going to do.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
All right, here we go. I will give you a celebrity.
You will guess the age. The other will say higher
or lower. Since Easton is not here, we'll be playing
higher or lower style. Tanya goes first, since she probably
didn't win last time. Is that fair?
Speaker 4 (26:39):
I think she's pretty good, but yeah, she always goes first.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
All right, here we go. Blake Lively, Tanya, how old
did she turn on Tuesday?
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Blake Lively turned 39 years old on Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
That's right. See, she already knew that.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
Yeah, obviously.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Why?
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Because she's my age.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Oh, okay. Well, I guess you get a point. I'm
not sure any of our games are working today. All right, Becca,
Jack Black has a birthday. I get a point. I
gave it to you.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
Did you not hear the ding, ding, ding? Why is
that not working?
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Jack Black, how old is he turning on Thursday? Today. Hey,
Jack Black, happy birthday.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
This is tough.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
This is a tough one. I'm going to say Jack
Black's turning 54. He is not 54.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Is he older or younger, Tanya?
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Older.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
He is 57. 2-0, Tanya. That's great.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
2-0, Tanya. All right.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
See, some of these I think might be. Okay, here's
a good one. Tanya. Melissa McCarthy. Birthday this week.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
57.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Not 57. Older or younger, Becca?
Speaker 4 (27:44):
She's younger.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
She's 56. Very nice.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Becca's on the board.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
Two for Tanya, one for Becca.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Let's go with Tanya. No, this is yours, Becca. Macaulay Culkin,
star of Home Alone. Macaulay Culkin. How old is Macaulay
Culkin turning this week?
Speaker 5 (28:03):
42.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
He's not 42. Is he older or younger, Tanya? He's 46. Oh,
my God.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
Looks great.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Tanya's on the break.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
She's up three to one, and that's, of course, we
play first to four. We play a best of seven. Becca,
Cameron Diaz. Birthday this week.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
49. 49.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Tanya, for the win.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Alder.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
54 years old. Oh, my God. I just smoked you.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
You know what they call that?
Speaker 4 (28:40):
They call that cooked.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
You know what they call that? They call that toasted.
You know what they call that? They call that mogged.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
That's what mogged means?
Speaker 3 (28:50):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
I don't think exactly, but it's close enough, I think.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Yeah, it's not so far off.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
It's showing up other people.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
I thought mogged was when you're looking at the camera.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Yeah, that's mogging, too.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
That's mugging.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Oh, that's the same thing, mogging, too.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Mogging is just showing up to people around you.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Oh, I see.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
You can do that in a photo.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Like you're mogging them.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
The rest of the people.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Congratulations.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
Thank you. I'd like to thank.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
Everyone's looking great out there in the world of Hollywood.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
I'd like to thank my brain. And I'd like to thank.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
Your pop culture knowledge instincts. Exactly.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
Yeah. All the years of watching television. Cameron Diaz, I
knew she was older than whatever you guessed. 40 something.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
I know.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
Well, I'm trying to gloat. I'm trying to think of
like I was trying to think of how old I
was when I was watching Home Alone. And but I
didn't realize I was that much younger. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
So the Home Alone thing, I was just like, he's
just it seems a hair older than me.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
But he's not just a hair older than you.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
A hair and then add a hair.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
He's almost a decade older than you. But, yeah, Cameron
Diaz and Jack Black really blew me away.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Cameron Diaz because I feel like articles always make it
a big deal about her age.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
Oh, of course.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
I know. It's so annoying.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
You really can't win.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
No, you can't.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
Congrats to you and yours.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
I hope you take that with you for the weekend
and carry that energy. A winner attitude.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
And that's all we have for today, folks. That's all
for this week. I'm going to be gone.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Becca's going to be in Thailand. She's like, don't know
what you're doing with the pod, but sayonara.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
Good luck.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
See you in September.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
Bye, bye, bye. Yeah. So have fun with Tanya and
the crew, and I'll be back when I'm back. Dang.
Love you so much. Love you.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
Bye. Bye.
