Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing in with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two time People's Choice Award winning.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Podcast Hello everybody.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
We are scrubbing in, Yeah we are. We're pre recording
because I will be gone next Monday. And Tanya Di
don't want to do a podcast without me.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
I didn't because why would I ever want to do
a podcast without you? Why would I ever want to
do a podcast without you? If I'm given the option
to pre record or do it without you, why would
I ever want to do without you?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
And how lucky am I that.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I feel that way? Yeah, You're like, I was just
looking for the week.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
I would have liked if you just had a co host,
but happy to be here.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
You could have said something.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
No, because it's like having to find you know, it's
like a whole thing.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Robbie not just had Robbie. I respect on his name, But.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
No, no, no, I'm happy to be here. We're going
to San Diego this weekend for a wedding and and
then we're staying and we're going to the Noah Con
concert on Monday. You because we were going to go
to the know a Con concert.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
In La It was the same night as the wedding.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yes, yeah, so we are going to the wedding welcome
party and stuff tomorrow. And they take notes, always taking notes,
always taking mental notes. And then you know I used
to live in San Diego before I moved up here. Yeah,
I do know that, and I have been doctor uh
(01:31):
Andres Andres, and I got what I worked for for you. Yeah,
but I when I moved up to La I was
so upset. I mean, I was really sad to leave
San Diego, but I kept thinking, oh, well, I can
always come back. Like San Diego is not going anywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
It's a far trek.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
I've only been back, I think three times since I
moved up to Away.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
So because you think San Diego is so close, I go,
it's just down just down the street.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
You know, it feels like it should be two hours,
but it's never.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Never, it's like four. It's basically going to Vegas.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah yeah, but it's so beautiful. So I'm very excited
to spend a few days down there. I'm very excited
about going to see Noah Khan.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Can you FaceTime me during one of the songs.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Which one, because I kind of want to be present
if it's Orbiter.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, I figured you want to be present for that video.
Maybe I can request a different song, just not Orbiter.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Okay, well I can do. I don't want to put
that pressure on myself. Shoot, I don't feel like you're
that big of a fan.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Excuse me. Ever since you told me to listen to
the album, I've been obsessed with it.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
What songs do you love aside from orbit No?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
No, no, my head, I don't know. It's the top
of my head. I've been listening to the Maggie to
the Maggie Rogers, No, not Maggie Rogers, Oh my god,
Gracie Abrams album, all for like three weeks straight, and
I couldn't name many of those either.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Oh Wow, Noah, con Willing, Enable, damn, oh Willing, and Abel.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yes. I would love if you could give me that one,
but I feel like that might be tough for you.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
What if I just recorded then to you? I don't
know if he sings that one. I don't really know.
I haven't looked at the set list, nor will I.
I'm just gonna go in. I do love Downfall. If
I think of not, if I remember, I'll send it
to you or I'll FaceTime you.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
I'll probably be asleep anyways.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
But Gigi Perez is opening for him on this tour
and she's amazing. She's wont to Hale. Well, she's our friend,
but she and Haley are good friends, and I'm really
excited to see her again.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Isn't that cute when like your partner's friends become your friends.
There's a shift, because I feel like I went there
was like a point where I was like, oh, the
you know, we're going out to dinner with Robbie's friends,
And now I'm like, oh, we're going out to dinner
with our friends, right right, right?
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yeah, Well it's it's they're friends because they're in the
industry together and they've written a song together. So I
haven't had the intimate time that they've had with each other.
So but I consider her friend because I want to
be her friend. Yeah, and she's really cool. Underston, What
do you have this weekend?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Let me tell you what I have this weekend. Well,
first of all, it's my dad's birthday, so happy birthday.
I don't think he listens to the podcast, but love
you dad. But I am sleeping this weekend. Oh, I'm
so excited this week Honestly, kicked my ass, like kicked
it around the block. It kept kicking it around the block,
(04:32):
Like I am so tired. So I'm looking forward to
like sleeping in a little bit and then and then
getting ready becase I'm gonna go see the Jones Brothers
next week.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah, you are, tell the people what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I don't know. I don't know if I can yet
because I don't know like what's out there and if
it's supposed to be like surprised you might be going.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
To their New York their East Coast show.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yes, yes, have.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
You seen the viral clip of them singing, oh my god,
what's their song? Where Nick says red dress, what's that song?
Oh god? Yeah, yeah yeah, and uh, Joe's wearing a
cowboy hat and he changes the key on one of
the notes or whatever one of the lyrics, and it's
gone viral because everyone's like this is they need to
(05:21):
rerecord it like this. We're so obsessed with Joe specifically. Really,
Joe was my I get Joe fans on my algorithm
big time.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Joe's always had like a lot of fans, and Nick
has always had a lot of fans. You know, who
was the silent sleeper was Kevin. But I do feel
like he's getting the recognition he deserves. Kevin's my cup
of tea.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
I know, Kevin's awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
You know, you have to like rank your Joe bros.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
You do. You can't just love them all.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
No, everybody ranks them.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
At what age? Just every just.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Always everybody has mine goes Kevin, Joe nick Oh yours?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Oh let me think I'm gonna say Joe Kevin nick.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Yoh.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
It was really funny to me, Like they're very funny.
I love funny, you know. Yeah, but that's just a
loose opinion as someone who doesn't know much about them. However,
love their music and I love how much they love you.
Oh that's what means a lot to me.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Yeah, and love goes both ways.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
And you were you had a moment on their podcast recently,
I know, did you know that was happening?
Speaker 2 (06:35):
So sat our producer produces the Hey Jonas podcast as well,
and she reached out to me and she was like, Hey,
they're interviewing are auto maddics? Do you have any like
love Island questions? And so I sent her a couple
I didn't realize that I thought that she was just
gonna like use them and like throw it into their prep.
(06:55):
I didn't realize that it was gonna be like from
like Tanya, because I was like, my question was, does
annoy you that they bring in Andy Cohen to do
the reunions, because like, I don't know, I just feel
like it it's them saying like she can't do it
on her own. I means like bring in reinforcements, and
it's just like they always do that with women, Like
(07:16):
why can't do woman just host the show on her own?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
I feel like, well, I feel like Andy Cohen is
just like he does all the reunion specials and it's
just consistent. People know what they're getting. I don't think
it's that they don't think can do it. I think
people just maybe tune in because they, like Andy said,
they're like, let's just.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Give somebody else another Let's give somebody else a shot.
Let's let's get somebody other seat at the couch. Oh yeah,
let's give a woman a seat at the couch and
look at it. I love Arianna.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
I would love for her to I don't have a
strong opinion on reunions in general. I forgot that we
even still had the reunion for this season. Well, let's
play back what she had to say.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Okay, hit it, John.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
I have some fan questions from one of my questions
of one of our very good friends, and I think
you know her, but Tanya rat has written us in
and she needs to get some questions off her chest.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
Here.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
On a scale of one to ten, how shocked were
you by the Nick and or Landia split news?
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Nick and Orlandria. Yeah, I love both of them as
individuals and I loved them as a couple. I think
every listen, people break up and that's just the nature
of life, right, And I think that everything that I mean,
they haven't really talked a lot about it, so it's
hard to know how either of them really is feeling
right now. But I, you know, I just hope that
(08:35):
they're okay and that they're both doing well. Got it
and they both continue to just kill it?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Well said?
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Okay, next question, Yeah, what do you got? Well?
Speaker 4 (08:44):
This is from Tanya as well, which I think is
pretty hilarious. Does it annoy you that you have to
bring Andy Cohne along to co host The Love of
Island reunions because you can totally handle it by your own,
She says, one hundred percent. So does that annoy you?
You know, we all know Andy, we love them him.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
I appreciate her saying that that I could do it myself.
I definitely appreciate that, but I have such a fun
time doing.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
It with Andy, so it does not annoy me.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
And I also feel like it's nice to have I
don't know, I just think we bounce off of each
other really well. And I've known him for so long
that I just I don't know. I like having him there.
It's nice, and he has great things to say, like
great input too.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
He knows what he's doing.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
He's great and and if you're watching, he's great at TV.
He just gets it. Makes it makes a spicy question
like so casual fun.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
But yeah, it's perfect, she said.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I'm good. She said, thanks telling you, but I'm good.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
But you know what she acknowledged, She said, thank you
for saying I can handle it on my own.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
That leads me to believe that there is something inside
her that feels the same way. But like the PC
answer she has to give is like, no, I like
having him there.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
I I think you could handle the podcast on your own,
But would you rather have someone like to bounce different though.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
It's different though, because if we did it together, no, no, no, no,
we did this, say other, if I was hosting a
show and I was the only host and then I
went to go do the reunion and they said you
have to do with Becca, I'd be like Becca, get
out of town.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Really, Yes, that's so interesting because I personally it's also
like she's hosting the show, but she's not hosting the
back and forth dialogue between people. You know, she'll ask
a question here and there, but she's not navigating having
to manage back and forth conversations like Andy's used to
(10:41):
doing when he does like Housewives and all the other reunions.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
I'm just telling you that they don't do it with
men when they host reunions and when they host shows
like this, they only do it to women.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
What other What male hosts haven't had this done to them?
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Andy Cohn?
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Because he's doing all of them?
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Yeah, who else? I'm blinking. Sam helped me well for
a reference for two women they have, like the two
women doing after Sun.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, toy in Sierra.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah. One can't handle it apparently.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
I think they's just have different takes and opinions though,
to open the dialogue.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Yeah, yeah, I'm just standing up for women here. We
need more opportunity, more space.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I'm just saying they they are.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
I don't all Late Night is just men med men, men,
men men.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
I agree with that, but I think a reunion reality
show for someone who's been doing it for years, I
would personally if I were already on, I'd be the
same way. I'd be like, I'm glad to have him
help me navigate it and to have him ask questions
that maybe I didn't think.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Of Sam's texting. So I'm hoping that this is to
help me come out of here. Oh that seats in
The Bachelor where it was Tasha and Caitlin. See and
what when they were hosting The.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Bachelor and they had Jesse to.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
The guy was Chris Harrison one guy, Jesse Palmer one guy?
But no, the season that there's a woman, it has
to be two.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
What makes sense.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
I'm saying the hosting a whole season, yes, but I'm
saying bringing someone in for the reunion to handle the
back and forth the dialogue doesn't.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
I'm just saying, but.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
I agree, I think she could do it on her own.
But she seems to be okay with not.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
And that's pc answer.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Oh you think she wanted to be like it's Andy Cohen. No.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I think if she and I were having like a
little martini up down at something about her coffee shop
or sandwich bar and we were just like chit chatting
on the d L, I think she'd be like, yeah,
it but it annoys me. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
What do you think about her answer about Nick and Landria?
Speaker 2 (12:52):
So it's something that like she didn't hasn't talked to
them yet, so like, I don't know, people break up.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
I don't think she's like I don't care. I think
that's what she was just saying. She's like, who, who
did you start any shows or do anything this week?
Speaker 5 (13:11):
No?
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Sterling Point?
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Oh yeah I did start Sterling Point.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Okay, So.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
I'm gonna we're gonna take a break and then we're
gonna get into it.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Just started the.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Podcast, Oh we did?
Speaker 5 (13:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Oh my gosh, just go in to Sterling Point.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
So I watched the first episode and everything I've been
seeing online about Sterling Point is like it's better than
off Campus. It's the new off campus, like comparing it
to off Campus.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
It's very different. I don't even think it's comparable.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
So you can imagine my dismise, demise, disappointment, disappointment when
I watched the first episode and it was nothing like
Off Campus, so much.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Better with the acting and writing. Though the first episode
of Off Campus nearly sent me running.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
There's no way it's better. There's just I couldn't even
get through the first episode. I'm gonna keep going. I'm
gonna keep going. Why the brother drove me nuts the
first episode?
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Brother?
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Yeah, it's her twin, Yeah, yeah, drove me nuts.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
He has such a non he's such a non.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Well, he's very prevalent in the first episode, and I
didn't enjoy it for one second.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
So I watched.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I don't even think I finished the first episode because
I was just like, what is it? But I will
I will continue because you say you like it, so
I will continue to give it a go. But i'd
say right now, i'd give it two stars out of ten.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
My god, it's just disappointing. Disappointing to hear, what would
you give it?
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Have you finished?
Speaker 3 (14:39):
No, I'm only on episode three. I haven't moved that far.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
I love it. That's very telling. That you're only on
episode three, I will say, because let's just say, if
you enjoyed.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
It, sit down and like watch shows like that though,
like you do really? Yeah, Like I watched the first
one on the plane and then I haven't sat down
and just like watched TV other than if Haley sits
on and watches something like Love Island UK or whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Not that it's television. Yeah, yeah, good old television.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Well, a lot of people disagree with you on the
Sterling Point thing, but that's okay. Not every pot of
tea is for every person.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I'm gonna keep going. Yeah, I'm gonna keep I'm gonnak.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
It's worth your time. At the end of the day,
have you seen or watched Let's Marry Harry with Harry Cholsey?
So because this feels like something you'd.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Be all over.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
It does, and I'm very intrigued by it.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
But there's something about Harry Jowsey that I don't like,
so I don't want to support him.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Hmm, Like you just don't like his vibe.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Yeah, I'm like, we're rewarding like this guy who's just
ripping through women and like do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (15:53):
Mm hmm. Yeah. But at this point if you're choosing
to date him knowing his.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I know, I know, but I'm like, we're we're what's
the word, we're platforming people that I don't think we
should be platforming. So on my principle, you're not gonna watch,
I'm not gonna watch. But it is really tempting me
because I'm seeing all the social media clips and I'm like, Okay,
this looks really interesting because spoiler spoiler alert, I think
he gets married.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
That's the whole title. Let's marry here.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
I know, but I didn't think he was like actually
going to marry somebody. I thought it's.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Whatever, whatever right gets into the next thing.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Yeah, are you going to watch it?
Speaker 5 (16:32):
You know?
Speaker 3 (16:33):
It will be far down on my list of things
to go through personally unless someone Unless you watch it
and you're like, you have to watch this.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
It really is so tempting to me, Like I really
I've been circling the the clicker on it.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Oh wow, Well, are you remember when we when ted
Lasso came out and I said I was boring and
you and Mark just like berated me. Are you still
watching the show? No?
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Okay, the first season was amazing, and then I just
couldn't get into the second season.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Okay, okay, so we're done with that ass falling off.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
But let me tell you, they really want you to
watch it when you're on Apple TV Plus.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
Really. Yes, there's a lot of promo for it.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
I was watching Imperfect Women that was like my binge,
my last binge, and there was like a promo that
ran before every single episode, Like it was just like
in your face head lasso.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Yeah, they really have promoted that heavily. Yeah. Travis Kelsey
was interviewed and called Taylor his wife like it was
the first time he referenced her as his wife, and
everyone was freaking out. I couldn't figure out why everyone
was freaking out about it, and then I realized it
was because he said, why intense, You really got to
(17:43):
watch every single thing you say? Huh.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
I'm concerned for him. Why just because like you know,
married life, you like, I don't know, you poke fun
at your significant other or like you say something, you
know what I mean, you share intimate details. When you're
on a podcast, it just like comes out and if
he slips anything, like it's tomorrow's news.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
Yeah, they don't have a live podcast, So I'm sure
if he ever says anything, he's probably oh, maybe I
shouldn't say that.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
But do you think that goes through his brain because
it's just like your day to day It's just like,
oh my wife, like, oh my gosh, she farted the
other night. It smells so bad.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
I don't think you'd ever say that.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
You don't think so.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
No, I don't think he would talk about her farting ever,
that'd be crazy. I also wonder if maybe her team
is like, can we listen to the episodes before you
release them? I would if I were her, I would
do that, really, But I also think he's just does
this thing, and I think that's what she likes about him.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Is Haley ever worried about what you're gonna say here?
Speaker 3 (18:48):
I'm sure there's probably probably concern sometimes, but I'm also
quite respectful of what I share, you know, like if
it if it feels like we literally don't do that
in front of each other. As far as I know,
we both don't do that.
Speaker 6 (19:05):
That's crazy, yes, not like we're not like having content, No, right,
like it's not, but like if one of us has to,
we're like around each other, we don't like, what do
you do you just like you run to the bathroom
field to part.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
I don't know, we just don't do that in front
of each other.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
There's no way.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
I've never heard it. There's no way, there's absolutely no way. No,
I don't think. I don't think either of us run
quite as gassy as you like. We'll never forget the nails.
Long story, what chewing gum did?
Speaker 2 (19:39):
I will tell you that Maya that Robbie not having
a sense of smell is the biggest thing.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Marriage saved your relationship. Yeah, as soon as he gets
that fixed, if he ever gets a fix.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
No, it comes in waves so like but like that's risky,
very risky.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
But I would say.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Ninety percent of the time he can't smell, and there's
like a ten percent where he can. And yes, because
sometimes I met mic. My farts aren't loud, they're just
like they can they pack a punch.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
So you do it and you're just looking around, like
and then you don't.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Usually it's nothing. Usually hear nothing. And then sometimes I'll
be like, babe, I'm.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Like just babe, like disappointment, Yeah, babe, yeah wow, and
he farts in front of you. Wow.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Again, not like every day we're not like having contests.
It's not like, you know, we're not as you know,
we're not doing.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Any of that right, just checking. Well that's good to know. Yeah,
really risky for you every time you do it, not
knowing if it's.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Gonna be a But it's ninety ten, so it's like
it's not so risky because I feel like I feel
safe most of the time. But yeah, like this morning
made a skunk. I woke up and I was like,
oh my gosh, like we have we have skunk in
the back, Like, can't let send you out to pee?
And he was like spell nothing. I'm like, wow, so crazy.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Yeah, that makes you feel pretty safe, very safe. Yeah, okay, wait,
I want to know if you've seen the Brooks Nader
being topless in front of her dad on the yacht. Yeah, okay,
I want to talk about this when we come back.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
We're back to You're back.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
So the Nator Sister. If you haven't watched The Nator Sisters,
I find them.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
I have not watched it.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Oh my, you've ever watched their show? No, They're so funny.
I really like them. I do. I like The Nator
Sisters and I watched the first season of their show.
They're from Louisiana, and there's something about their dynamic that
familiar to me. And then I saw that they were
(22:15):
on they were in Europe or something, and they were
all on a boat and Brooks had her she was
swimming topless and her dad and everyone was like, oh
my gosh, her dad is on the boat. And then
the photos come out where her dad's just standing talking
to her topless. And I was just curious on if
you would ever be topless in front of your father.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
So I've worn some pretty questionable bathing suits in front
of my father. I'll never forget. We took like a
trip to Meca. This is like recent, like in my
adult life, in my thirties. We took a trip to
Mexico and I was wearing, like, do you wear that
bathing suit that I had that had all the cutouts.
It was like just cover the nipples and I have
like basically the whole boob out. Yeah, I've worn that
in front of my dad. Okay, So I don't think
(22:57):
I would go top you wouldn't free then, but I've
gone very close and like I'm always in a thong
and he's just like whatever, yeah, and you're just like whatever,
and your mom's whatever, yeah, no one cares, No, it's
my dad.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
But you know what's so interesting that you bring that up.
I'm very like free, like I've always been free. Like
we're a European family. We would we didn't wear bathing
suit tops, right yeah, like hero Yeah. But when we
were in Capri, there was these two really cute little
like little girls. They were seventeen and twenty girls sitting
(23:34):
like sunbathing next to Robbie and I and we knew
that they were with their parents because they kept like
going from like their lounge chairs to these chairs and
like being like dad are like, mom, will you get
me a coke? Or like whatever? You know, so we
knew it was like their parents. And they were wearing
these like string bikin like just very skimpy suits, and
they're like you know, their butts were out, and I
was just like, it's weird being on like the parental
(23:57):
side of it, now, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Like I'm like world enough to be the parents.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I mean, I'm not old enough to be their parents
seventeen that'd make me a howld. The fact that I
have to use a calculator seventeen, I would have been
twenty two.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
I guess I could have very very average age to
be a parent.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
That's crazy. If I were a parent at twenty two,
that child would need severe therapy for me personally. But yeah,
I don't know. It was like weird because even when
I'm around the kids, I want to like cover up more,
do you know what I mean? Like, now that I'm
on the other side of it, it does feel different, like.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
I know, and it's it is weird because yeah, I
don't think everything, like I don't think our bodies should
be sexualized. But I just think I grew up in
a very modest home, like I wouldn't change in front
of anybody. It was very modest in my house growing up,
Like I would go into another room to change, you know.
And so someone said I saw a clip of someone
(24:59):
talk about it, and I think it was Claudia from
The Toast, and she said, yeah, I mean, you know,
they're from Louisiana. Maybe it's different down there. And people
in the comments were like, we're from Louisiana, it's not
nine different. So it was a funny. I thought it
was funny discourse. Yeah, but they seem very comfortable and
close and like very open with their parents, like the
(25:21):
back and forth of their dialogue, especially, I think since
they've been on the reality show, I think their parents,
who probably were not like that, had to kind of
just go, Okay, this is our world now, so let's
just lean into it.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Yeah. I mean, like if I were changing and my
dad saw like, I wouldn't be like, oh my gosh,
but I had to sit on a boat just topless
with my dad. There feels a bit weird.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
I mean, even thinking if you and Robbie had a
daughter who was those girls' age and they were laying
out right next to Robbie with like topless or whatever.
You know what I'm saying, right, But yeah, I don't know.
I think I think it's a culture thing. And I
also think it's the dying of your family and how
you grew up if you had that that conversation or
(26:07):
culture around nudity. Yeah, which again, we were so not
a naked in free family.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Yeah, we were pretty naked.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Envy that I kind of envy the naked in free mentality.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
I love naked and free. Yeah, bring on the naked
and the free.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Do you know what I did this week that was
like really cute, though, what'd you do? So I was
just like really tired this week, and I was really
hard for me to stay up past like eight pm.
So I forced myself. I committed to plans one night
to go to like an outside movie theater to like
go see my best friend's wedding.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Oh, I saw this to try and keep me like
awake a movie. It was something to do.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Yeah, I was very proud of myself because I definitely
say up later than more than I had all week.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
But I did.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
I end up falling asleep for like twenty twenty five
minutes of the movie. But I've seen it before, so
it's like it's whatever. I woke up at the end,
and you know, it was just as happy. But like
watching that movie from like an old school rom com,
I'm just like they don't make they can't do movies
like that anymore. And I'm like set in that time
and seeing like again and I don't whatever. Women can
(27:22):
do whatever they want with their bodies, but like seeing
Cameron Diaz and Julia Roberts faces like scrunch and like
make all those movements, you know, like I don't know,
there were just there's just something so sweet about it.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
I say this as somebody who gets botox. Yes, it
is so nice watching those movies and seeing because I remember.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
That that was a time like nobody. I don't think
anybody was doing that then. No, no, no, but everybody's doing
it now.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
But I remember being a young like a teenager and
being like, these are the most beautiful women in the world.
I wasn't never like, oh my gosh, they ring on
there for you know, I never once thought about it.
And it just goes to show how much society has
been like you don't have wrinkles, don't have face movement
and all that stuff. It's pretty crazy.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
You're right, it's so crazy. And like I was watching, like,
you know, Anne Hathaway has been in like five hundred
movies this year, and they were like showing like these
clips of her like when she would she was crying
and what was the Princess Diaries and her face is
like just like crinkled up and like so you know whatever,
it shows her emotive and then it shows her crying.
(28:30):
And the movie she did with Nicholas Scalzen, what the
idea of the idea of you? And it's like her
face is just still and she's like crying, you.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
And it was just like.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
Yeah, and it's just so crazy. I know, I know
it's but but then you the other the flip side
for them, unfortunately, is that if you don't people talk
about how old you look and how you have let
yourself go, and.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
It's just telling her that she's like faking her pregnancy.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
I know she clought back don she was like, no
fake hare real bump, But do you.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Want to know what's so sick? I think that these
rumors that her pregnancy bump is fake is like so crazy,
Like I'm like, what does Anne Hathaway have to gain
from faking a pregnancy? Like, and then I saw that
people were saying that they don't want to admit that
she doesn't want to admit that she's having a surrogate,
so like, you know, she's not actually carrying the baby,
(29:24):
but she doesn't want to, like she's pretending to whatever.
And I'm like, I feel like we're so past that time,
Like I don't think having a surrogate is as like
frowned upon or I'm not really sure what it was
back in the day, but I just feel like people
are so much more open, like why wouldn't she just
say I'm having a surrogate.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
They're not, though I know, I know it's on every
single thing they do.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
I think these people do these deep dives and they
like zoom in on her bump and they're like, I
used to work in prothetics, and this is how I
look at This is my fake bump. And they show
and I'm like, it actually does look like. I'm like,
I don't believe these rumors. But then I like, I'm
so deep in the algorithm that I'm like starting believe it.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
I know. Social media is so weird, yes, you just
it's so weird. Taylor Banks and I were talking about
it last night because we were we were saying, how,
in the span of three minutes, you are watching this
trial of this this Clancy trial, which is so devastating
and heartbreaking and heavy and serious, and then the next
(30:25):
one you see someone running and tripping and falling, and
then the next one you see this girl who's like
at Disneyland stalking the Peter Pan character, and it's just
all this weird, Like your brain, our brains are not
supposed to be consuming like this, and then you see
someone talking about someone having a fake bump, and regardless
(30:45):
who if it's fake or not, who cares. She's doing
it for a reason if it is fake, and otherwise
it's just so silly, right, But at the end of
the day, who cares?
Speaker 2 (30:54):
I know. But like I'm like, they're doing such a
good job that they're like like somebody who didn't believe it.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
I'm like, well, yeah, it looks one video for you
is fact.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
You're the amount that I've sent Robbie like videos from TikTok.
And he's like, Babe, like, who is this person you're
getting medical advice from?
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Like, who is this That's so scary. It's very scary.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
And I'm like, I'm fully formed frontal lobian, it's very scary.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Yes, what did you think about the Okay acquired style?
Speaker 2 (31:26):
My new obsession. Just found out about her like two
months ago and now I'm obsessed.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Yeah, she and her sister a really fan. Oh that's
her sister, the identical twin.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Yeah, I thought was her best friend.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
They just looked alike, the identical twin. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
I thought they looked really a lot of like, yeah,
they're sisters.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
I haven't done much deep dives on them. Uff.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
No, yeah, yeah, a lot of the wedding is what
I'm seeing the wedding content.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
I thought that was her best friend. I'm sure, sure
they are. I'm sure they are best friends. They also
share DNA.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
That makes a lot more sense. Yeah, so yes, yes,
yes they look I know they look a lot of light.
Evy's dumbfounded.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah, same, Evy, wish we could see each other. So anyways,
Bridget who is her username, is a quirt style. She
got married and she I have to say, when she
did a transition and I saw her wedding look for
the first time, I was like, she looks like a bride.
(32:35):
Like that was the all the way I could think Like.
It was like the hair was perfectly formed, her makeup
looked perfect, the dress was stunning. And of course, when
you post anything about your wedding these days, especially if
you're a big influencer or celebrity, everyone has an opinion
on every single thing you do, and we'll create a
(32:55):
whole think piece on it. But the drama that happened,
which you seem to know more about with the with
the wedding dress, what happened with the dress Brielle Beerman.
Who is she?
Speaker 2 (33:10):
So she's an influencer. Do you remember Kim Zulsiak from
the Real Housewives of Atlanta?
Speaker 3 (33:14):
I remember I didn't watch that, but I remember her name.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
So she had a daughter, Oh this is her daughter.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Okay, yeah, so she's a Housewives daughter. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
But I think now she's become like an influencer, Like right,
she has her own fulne thing. Yeah and actually maybe Sam,
can you can you look this up? Do Acquired Style
and Brielle follow each other on social media? I'm assuming
that they do, but uh they She posted one of
the videos of like one of the dresses that I
(33:44):
didn't say yes to or that I almost said yes too,
and it was the exact same dress that Acquired Style
wore at her wedding.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Before Acquired posted it. Like, is that the drama?
Speaker 5 (33:55):
No?
Speaker 2 (33:55):
I think it was like the day after, like people
had known that she was wearing that. I don't know
if it was those There was like some fan photos
that got posted, so I don't know if she posted
them herself, but like people were aware that that was
her dress by the time Brielle posted it. But like
saying drama, the drama is She's basically saying I was
gonna say yes to this dress, but I didn't, and
(34:17):
this girl just wore it. It's like, so she wait,
why what Becca? If I got married when I got married,
If I got married when I got married, if I
posted my like wedding photos and then the next day
some influencer that like follows me and were in like
the same circle said the dress that I didn't say
(34:38):
yes to.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
Or.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
That wasn't my favorite choice and it was my wedding dress.
I would be so pissed.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Such a personal decision. There's so many beautiful dresses that
people don't pick. It doesn't doesn't pay with your video.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Oh day after my wedding that comes out.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Posts videos that said, like the dresses I almost said
yes to.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Yes, and she can post them. In twenty twenty seven, Brielle.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
Oh, I think it's kind of making I don't think
it's a thing.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Sam, hold on, and maybe.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
We're missing some details. Maybe you're lacking some details about
the topic. People do this all the time.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Oh, they do not follow each other. Bridge jokingly commented
Brielle's second choice greater than, greater than, greater than, on
a video discussing the drama.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Yeah, her dress was stunning. I don't think anyone could
say whether Brielle was wearing it or Bridget was wearing it,
that it wasn't absolutely stunning.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
You wouldn't be. Okay, you get married, you Beckatilly. Yeah, yeah,
and you have the dress of your dress, dress of
your dreams and it's this like stunning varawaang gown. Okay,
you get married, you post your photos, You're on cloud nine.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Yeah, I've never looked better. Most beautiful dress in the world.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yeah, then how do I put Caitlin Bristow.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Helen's my friend? I don't even These girls don't even
follow each other. Okay, give me someone else.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
You and then the next day no, uh huh, not
a good comparison. I have to find a good comparison
for you. Okay, my Paulina, Paulina post a video in
that same exact dress that you wore.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Pauline was my friend too. These girls don't follow each other,
but they're like the same like like they're in the
same like circle circle. Yes, I guess I just want
to care. I mean, i'd be like, thank god she
didn't buy it, because this is my dress, my moment.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
You would not. I don't think I would.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Be grateful that she didn't pick the same dresses.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Why does she need to post that the day after
you get married in that dress and it shows It
shows that I didn't love this dress, Like okay, like
it's cute for you, but like I didn't like this
dress and it's the day after your wedding.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
I don't think if I looked like Bridget did on
her wedding, I would not give a rat's house about
what anyone my way.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
You would never you put so much energy and effort
into your wedding, and if something like that happened.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
I would hope I didn't. I would hope if I
put that much energy and time and money and had
the best night of my life, that I would not
care what someone else is.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Well, you best believe I would be in the comments
of that video saying Becca wore it better, Glad you
didn't choose it.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Exactly. I think my mentality would be like, wow, I'm
glad glad it was my dress. Two different types of brides,
it seems. I thought it was a very I think
Bridget really handled it well and like made a joke
out of it, like yeah, she knew she No.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
I don't think she seems as affected as like everybody else.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
As the fans.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Yeah, as the true bridget stands just learned about her
two months ago. We have risen that.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
She and her best friend just like her yea, yeah, yeah,
they posted a wedding I think it's just a sneak
peek of their wedding video. And I don't know if
this was part of the wedding, but she posts videos
all the time to this really specific song. I think
by Genesis is the name of the person who wrote
it or whatever, and it's just her sound, like when
(38:24):
you hear the sound, you think of her videos. And
I think she did an orchestral like slowed down version
instrumental of this song for her wedding, And I'm like,
that is such a heavy brand stamp. I love it
because it was beautiful, yeah, but still brought in her
you know, her world that she's created, big fan.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Wow. There was something about that though, because Briel was
basically saying like it was part of my content strategy,
like it's part of my content calendar for me to
post it that day, And I'm like, even though I'm
like in the influencer world and like whatever, you you
know what I mean. There's something about like having that
content calendar as part of your like wedding that just
(39:11):
like I don't know. I was like, real, don't I
don't think.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
I think if you're in the influencer space and you're
doing it hardcore like that to where you have a
content calendar, I think, and I assume that acquired style
Bridget probably also has a very rigorous posting schedule. I
think that you would understand that that would be the
time to post it if you wanted it to do well.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Which is so dark though, but it's not really.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
Dark because I think it's not nasty. It is. I
don't think it's nasty. I would never do it because
I would.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
Be like, exactly, why would you not do it?
Speaker 3 (39:48):
I would never care if someone else did it. That's
my take on it.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
I think after your wedding, you're gonna feel a bit differently.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
I hope, I don't. I hope I keep this mentality
this level.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
My wedding was over a year ago, and if somebody
posted my wedding dress and said the dress I didn't choose,
I'd be like, well.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
Maybe we need to talk about that. In a therapy session.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Maybe as can be right now, I want.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
To talk about which I haven't heard you use yet,
but I think you could use it soon as adding
maxing to everything.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Oh excuse me, you haven't seen me use it? Do
you follow me on Instagram? Sprits and salt maxing.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
We're going to take a break and we'll be right back.
(40:53):
We're back. So TikTok's latest dating trend is pheromone maxing.
How would you describe? How would you define pheromone maxing?
Speaker 2 (41:05):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Well, it's men ditching deodorant and showering less in hopes
that their natural scent will make them more attractive.
Speaker 2 (41:14):
I'm into it.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
Interesting.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
Robbie has amazing pheromones. He hardly wears deodorant do you
know know that?
Speaker 3 (41:23):
But he does? Does he smell good? Yes?
Speaker 2 (41:27):
So he doesn't like He showers regularly, so he's not
like cutting back on the showers.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
But oh, they're saying they're ditching showering like showering less.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
I don't think he needs to shower that much, to
be honest.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
And then it says some men are even taking as
far as drinking their own urine to supposedly sweat out toxins.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
Does that help you do that?
Speaker 3 (41:49):
No? Oh god, this takes me back to when we
said what was it you rubbed like your.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
I've rubbed what did I? Yeah, I've done some weird things.
Speaker 3 (42:01):
I think when you were dating Robbie you did that.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Well, I rubbed my urine on what Oh? Yeah it
was Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
We've been through a lot on this podcast, so yeah,
I thought it was going to be something more like this.
I don't know. I'm not. I'm not necessarily seeking out
men or their natural sin lately, so it's not.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Knowing Robbie and how like he I mean, you never
smelled him and said, oh you smell bad, But I.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
Think of Robbie is showering and being quite clean. Yeah,
but his natural pheromones are like that.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
If I didn't put the utant on, you'd be like,
get out of my car.
Speaker 3 (42:40):
Are you still on a natural journey? Or you got
that aluminum?
Speaker 5 (42:44):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
I don't think it has aluminum, but it's something not clean,
I mean the smell, yeah, the anti persperant.
Speaker 5 (42:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
Well, I thought you were gonna say LARPing. Have you
heard about LARPing?
Speaker 3 (42:56):
No?
Speaker 2 (42:56):
I don't know about LARPing. I don't think so what
a boomer LARPing?
Speaker 3 (43:02):
Larpie larp. It's LARPing.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
So it's called live action role playing, okay. And so
it's basically if you say, like like if you're lying
about something. So if you're like I went to the
gym and had such a great workout, I'd be like, larp.
Am I making? Am I using that correctly? Heavy? Am
I using LARPing correctly? You don't know what LARPing is,
(43:29):
aren't you? Gen z.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
Loop Boomer, Well, we have no confirmation of what LARPing is.
We're all too old and she doesn't even know she's
using it. Right? Is live action.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
Role playing and you use it like when somebody is like.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Like that was a bad example.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
I think right, because you've been like going to the gym.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
What I'm just saying, I don't mind as all. How
is me going to the gym and saying I had
a good workout live action role play? Like it's like
if you're it's not live action role play, like you're
pretending to meet at the bar or something for the person.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
So it's not like it's like it's if you say something.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
That is, I mean liar kind of. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
