Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing in with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
we are scrubbing it. Why don't you let me have
my own intro part? Why do you have to chime
(00:21):
in like that?
Speaker 2 (00:22):
So sorry, it just kind of came naturally to me.
Should we do it again?
Speaker 1 (00:26):
No? No, no, I.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Don't want to step on your choice.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
I want to do Oh you always just be chiming
in taking my thunder.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Wow, this feels like it's been Uh, it feels like
it's been suppressed while it's coming out now.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
No, I just I only noticed it for the first
time last week, so two times.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's because the way you sing it is so like
harmony on nice.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Harmonized together on the end. Yeah, let's give the people
they want a jingle.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
They really want to. It is Monday. There's a lot
of information to get to, Like, there's just so much
out there because Harry Styles and so crapets are engaged.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I was gonna say, should we just start with the
breaking second?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
No, I think we should not start with that because.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
You already like you said it, because we have to get.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Out feet wet. You know, like it's like when you're swimming,
you don't just like jump in off the diving board,
you like put.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Your little teaser instead of just saying it and then
not talking about it.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
It's the best part. That's called the teas for a reason.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay, yeah, okay, So you better have something really juicy
to say.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
About It doesn't need to be juicy. It's just our
opinion and our observations.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Oh okay, yeah, okay, okay, so get that anywhere else? No,
those opinions exclusive. Yeah, well yeah, as a personal friend
of Harry Styles, your opinion is different than the other. Well,
let's get into it then. What would you like to
start with?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
How about our cute date night day?
Speaker 1 (02:02):
We had a Ladies Who Lunch.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
We did a late lunch Ladies Who Lunch.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Tanya texted me multiple days in a row saying she
missed me. And you know this is right after a Monday.
So I was like, she must be neat. She's she's
feeling she's she's feeling some needs for me.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, I was feeling needy. When I text you I
miss you, that means like I want to hang out
with you. That doesn't mean just like crickets.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
But you should say can we hang out?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
I did?
Speaker 1 (02:29):
No? I did? Oh you just say I miss you
and like continuing yes, passive aggressive yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
So she gives me a few passive aggressive days if
I miss you, and I'm like, I love you, you know,
like trying to say what she needs to say, and
then finally she says it again. I go, let's hang
out if you miss me? Yeah, what what's the other option?
(02:51):
So that we did. We were going to go to dinner,
but then we were discussing dinner and she said what time?
And I said, I don't know, six or six thirty
does that work? And she goes, oh, I'm more of
like that time or five thirty. And I'm like, okay, well,
what if we just did a late lunch because that's
gonna it's gonna be a little too early for me
for dinner. So we ended up meeting for a cute
little late lunch around three thirty pm.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Yeah, and it actually, in fact was my dinner. How
like you don't even no, I had like I had
something and yeah, I had something in between, but it
wasn't like a meal.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Oh my gosh, that's crazy. Yeah, So we had a
cute little lunch and outdoor, sat on a little patio,
so cutesy, so cute. See what did you did? How
did you feel about that? Did you want to implement them?
Like bye week?
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Well yeah, so we had this plan where like we
need to do this, well we had okay, So it
was the day after the Get Real Event happened, which
is the Hulu where they like announced their Hulu lineup
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
And wait for those who don't know, it's a it's
a big event and it's like their next season, Who's
got a few, Who's dance, Who's on Dancing with the Stars,
a bunch of reality TV announcements.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Coming to Hulu new seasons, like yeah, it's a big deal. Yeah,
every year it's a big deal. And I've oh, okay,
So I like saw it all because obviously my girl
Maura Higgins was there, and I was like, oh, like
why didn't we go to this Get Real event? Like
why didn't we get invited? This is so sad? And
Becca was like, oh, I was feeling a certain type
of way too that I wasn't invited. And we both
(04:22):
were like why didn't we go to this? Why didn't
I get invited. Why didn't you get invited?
Speaker 1 (04:26):
I woke up thinking about it. I was seeing all
the photos and videos from it, and I was like, man,
I feel like we should be going to this stuff
just for boots on the ground journalists.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Oh my gosh, to have that close contact with Maura Higgins,
I would do anything.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Whoa She looked at the camera and so then we
actually have a whole lunch and we don't talk about it.
And then as I'm driving home, Tanya calls and she's like,
by the way, there was that Hulu event yesterday, and
I'm just what we should be going to that stuff?
And I go, Tanya, I literally was thinking this thing, right.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
So we're on the phone like bitching for like five
minutes about it. Then Becka goes through her email.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Let's just make sure I didn't get invited before I
start getting like because she goes, I'm gonna tell my
agent to maybe just say, hey, we would love to
go to these types of events, so if there's ever opportunities,
let me know, and I go, I'm going to tell
my team too, and I go. Before I tell them,
let me make sure I don't have an invite in
my inbox. So I look it up Hulu. There's the
invite set in March eighteenth, like a month in advance, and.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I'm like, oh, so then I go before I send
a text to my agent, let me check check my
So my like pr email hasn't been opened since I
got that huge scam from that clothing brand. Remember that
I went like knee deep in where I almost sent
them my address and signature and like social Security number
and stuff. So I haven't opened that like email in months. Okay,
(05:54):
let me just check it. Sure it's right there. I'll
just get real and I kin Tanya out attend. So
not only it's like the most Beckatanya thing ever that
we were like, why didn't we go to this? We
wish we could have gone to this, And then it's
in our inboxes.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
It's so embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's so embarrassing.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
So Hulu, the powers that be Hulu, Yeah, we love you.
We're sorry for the next Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Please don't count.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Just keep sending them. I'll see it one day.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah, I'm going to start checking my email regularly now
my PTSD is gone.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yeah. So now we decided that we should be doing
stuff that you know, out in the bout at events.
Boots on the ground, yeah, even though we're tired, and
this one was in the broad daylight.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
This one was like the sun was shining. I was like,
this is my kind of event. It's not anything at
eight pm. Oh my gosh. It wasn't so us coded.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I know. So we're going to try to be better
about doing things. Just doing things, yeah in general, just
taany and doing things.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, T and b on the on the town. Oh wow,
it rolls it right off the tongue. But so we're
we finished our lunch and before we like went our
separate ways to go home, we both needed to peace.
So we go to the bathroom, walk into the bathroom
and there's two stalls and it's very apparent from the
odor that something is happening in there. Big things are
(07:23):
happening in there. And we're already like waiting in there,
and so I'm.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Like, I can hold I have a forty minute drive home,
and I'm like, I'll just hold it. I'm fine. But
Tongue has a fear of beautiy so she.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Was like I cannot hold it, Like I when I
have to pee, I have got to go. And so
we're like sitting in there and then uh, one of
the girls comes out of the stall, and I quickly
go in. I quickly come out. Becca goes into my stall.
There's still somebody in the other stall, mind you. So
I'm waiting for Becca. And then this girl comes out,
(07:55):
and I was like, do I make eye contact with her?
Do I not make eye contact with her? We both
know what just happened in there. Yeah, it was so awkward,
and like I didn't. I feel like not making eye
contact was rude, so I gave her a smile. It
was so uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
I decided from now on in that situation, we should
be the leader and we walk out and wait till
at least one person comes out. Because if I was
in the bathroom having a bad situation, I would really
appreciate if people were sitting there waiting for me, because
you can't help it.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
So this is actually very bad for me because I
already have a fear of going in public bathrooms, like
I cannot my body just like holds it in, like
I cannot go in a public restroom. And this situation
did not help in any way, shape or form.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
That's what I'm saying. So I think next time we
need to stand outside and then if more people come up,
be like we're in line, but there's people in there.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
But then what if there was like two entrances? What
if somebody came in the other way and then we're
just like waiting there for ever with an hour past that? Well,
I like that.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
I'm just saying it made me go, I'm going to
give someone space next time. It didn't give a second do.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
It didn't give me.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
That because if I'm in that situation, that's what I
would want, as you'd like to be treated. Yeah, so
I'm gonna look into just something to think about.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
It is sure, it is something to think about because
it really ruined me for a couple of days.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Something else happened. Wait, did you listen to Noah Kahn's
new album?
Speaker 2 (09:26):
I did not. I was busy listening to Megan Trainer's
album Okay.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Any standouts from that?
Speaker 2 (09:31):
So, yeah, the problem is I really like Getting Girl okay,
and so I'll like do three songs and then I
want to listen to Getting Girl again. So I didn't
really get past like song five. Oh yeah, so.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
You spent the weekend listening to Get a Girls?
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah, basically and Shimmer.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
I would Yeah, those are two. Those are like the
two singles.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
No still Don't Care. I was like the one.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Gotcha got here's the next single?
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yes, I getting girls still has its should have its moment.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yes, Yes, related to Breathe great.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Song, we Love Her Love. I did listen to Noah
CON's album. It was the perfect weekend weather for it.
It's almost like La gave me the weather I needed
to wonder weather. Yeah, it's like became winter again in
La and just in time for the new Noah Con album,
I Just Love I Love Him. Yeah, and stick Season
(10:25):
was probably one of my most played albums in the
last few years consistently, and I always go back to it.
So I don't have anything to talk to you about
it because you didn't listen.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
But well, I'm sure people that have listened that are
listening have listened to it. So why don't you share
your top five? Oh yeah, I'll share about three.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Well, they're seventeen on the deluxe album Wow, which I
didn't realize. I didn't realize. I was listening to the
deluxe and I was like, Wow, he really gave it
his all. But my top as of now are track
number one. End of August it's just a beautiful intro.
And then there's a song called Downfall, which is about
breaking up with someone and you're basically like, I'm not
(11:02):
going to live my life around this breakup, but I'm
still praying for your downfall, like I hope like thing
like annoying things continue to happen to you. Basically the
Great Divide, which is the one porch light. Love that,
and then we go way back. But there's a lot
of uh, you know people. It's it's like you listen
(11:24):
to an album and then you watch a tick, you
watch TikTok, and then people break down the lyrics and
what they interpret it to be about, and it gives
a whole new meaning to songs, you know, which I
do love that about social media because sometimes I don't
appreciate a good song until someone can break it down
and I'm like, wow, I love that.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
You could be one of those people.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
No, yeah, I question myself though when I'm listening to
a song. What I do is I go, is this
about And then I go, wait, no, it couldn't be.
What if it's not about that? And I'm interpreting it weird.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
So I actually met this girl group they're called Flow
and they're a British girl group. And you know, my
like default question with people from the UK.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Do you watch Love Island? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:10):
And it's so embarrassing because I'm like, oh, like well,
I ask like what part of like the UK they're from,
and they're like, oh, how do you know? And I'm like, well,
I watch Love Island, you know, like I like to
throw that in there just to see if they like.
It's like I'm like throwing a fishing hook and seeing
if they bite.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
You're a handkerchief.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and they bit. But they only watched
like the first season, and I'm like, oh, first season
is like yeah, the season is child's play compared to
like where we're at now. But it was so funny
because they came in and it was so I have
this like posture brace that like I wear. I usually
wear it at home, but my back was really hurting
(12:47):
and so I wore it to work the next day
because I had like a quick, short, little like work day.
It was like a quick jaunt in, like I was
just gonna pop in, pop out. I was like, I'm
gonna wear my my back my posture brace. Not realizing
I was gonna meet this girl group, and I met
them with my posher brace on. I went to go
hugger and she goes like, are.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
You wearing a backpack? Where are you going?
Speaker 2 (13:08):
I was like, no, it's my posture brace.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
To go over the clothes. It goes.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I think it'supposed to go under your clothes, but I
didn't have anybody to help me except for my step son,
and so I'm not going to make him like put
it on me without clothes on. You know, I over
my I needed his help to put it over my clothes. AnyWho.
It really just like sharpened my confidence because I'm like,
(13:32):
if I can walk around and like meet a pop
girl group with this thing on, like I can do
anything in life. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Haley had scoliosis as a child and had to wear
a full back brace, and she thinks it really built
her confidence. Yeah, like try to be you know. She
was like, I'm gonna just own it because I have
to wear this. I'm gonna make it my own thing.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Yeah. So I'm they're like pumping me up about it.
I was like, these are girls girls. Yeah yeah, so
tune in watch out for Flow.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
You and Haley can maybe go back and forth about
your temporary back brace and.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Similarities.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yeah, and Hailey started doing something that Tanya does religiously
over the weekend that we'll talk about when we get out.
Oh wow, we're back. So over the weekend, Haley was
(14:40):
trying to find something to watch. This is a never
ending cycle that we go through of trying to find
a new show for Haley to watch, and I'm just
along for the ride.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Well, I think it's just like a like a norm
of society, Like we're always trying to find something to watch.
Everybody in the.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
World, right, but there's so as you know, there's so
much TV to.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Watch, how much TV to watch?
Speaker 1 (15:01):
You've reached the end, but for us, a lot of us,
we haven't. We still have a lot off.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
I would just like you to know that Barbecue bra
has really infiltrated and brought the best out of my husband.
And now I'm getting like full barbecue bral meals every night,
and I'm thankful.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
For it, and we support that.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, because he's like inspired. He's like, I'm gonna make
fresh tortillas with my own tortilla presser, and I know
he's making like all this stuff from scratch.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
That's amazing. Yeah, but Haley go, I go, you know,
everyone always talks about Survivor and how we would love
it because we love competition shows. And she goes, I'm
down to start Survivor. So she was like, which season,
and I go, well, they're on season fifty. I guess
it's really good right now. And she we know nothing
about Survivor, by the way, I know Parvity because from
Traders and Boston Ram those are the people I.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Know who are not on this season spoilersunfortunately.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
And so she starts watching and she is locked in.
She loves it, and we know, and so I tell Tanya.
I'm like Haley's and I'm watching it by association, but
I'm not really locked in.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
I appreciate a little lock in.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I just don't care. I don't know how to explain
every reality to me.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
I just don't care with any reality to you. No,
just like with competition shows.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yeah, because I feel like I can get into it
whenever I want, so I don't feel like I have
to be locked in.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Oh my gosh, it's fortunate.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
And so she is. She loves it, and so I
tell Tanya and then she and Robbie are both like
you shouldn't start with this season. You should know the
history of everybody. And Haley's like, well, no.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
I'm having seas. I was like, babe, you can't tell
her not to to watch all the seasons from these
people because it's like so many seasons.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
But Tanya was like, well, do you want to know
the history of these people so you know kind of
everyone's background, And Hailey's like no, I just I'm.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
A devastating answer for me. Yeah, so dissertation of every player.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I was so excited about it and she's like, nah,
I'll just form my own opinions on that.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Was just like heartbroken all over the floor.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
So she's very into it. And while I'm trying to
tell Tanya, she facetimes me two times in a row
and we're just lounging on the couch. I am not
a facetimer. I just don't like a FaceTime. And I'm
I only like a FaceTime if I live distant from
somebody and I haven't talked to them in a while
and it's like a long catch up. It's a planned thing,
(17:26):
and I know I'm going to be sitting down and
there are people who love a FaceTime. I'm such a
why I I'm not just myself. So she facetimes me
twice and.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
No, I would just like to say, I have facetimed
you probably a hundred times, and you have denied every
single one of them. You do call me back, however,
you do call me back, but you have not engaged
in a FaceTime with me, and I don't even know
the last time you answered a FaceTime.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
So but I would see person, which I would like.
I prefer to just see you in person.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Well, I would prefer to FaceTime. So why can't you
mean an idle?
Speaker 1 (17:59):
But I do? I call you you so I don't
not meeting you in the middle would be texting you
being like, hey, I don't want to talk right now,
but I call you so you can at least hear
my voice because.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
I don't want your voice.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
But we're relaxing on the couch and I don't want
to FaceTime but I don't want your voice. Then we
don't talk.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
But here's what a compromise would be. Maybe one in
every five face times you answer the face time, one
hand times you answer the FaceTime. But if not, every
single time I get your voice.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
I knew what you were calling about.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Which was Survivor, and I was so excited. I was
like a like a Golden Retriever on a Sunday.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
I know that's why I called you back, because in
real life I probably would have been like, hey, we're
just chilling. I'm I'll call you later, but I knew
you were excited, so I called you. But this is
just totally like there's people who are going to be like,
I'm like, Tanya, I want to see your face. I
want to see I want to see your facial expressions.
And there's people like me who are like, I don't
want to have to be on on camera. You know,
(18:59):
how do y'all feel about this? Guys?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
I you know, this is.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
If I can lead the witnesses just for one more
second here.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Of course, your honor.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
I was very sad this weekend. I got my period
and I was like really in just like an emotional place,
so I like didn't really get out of bed. So
I was looking for a little excitement in my life.
I get a little excitement from the Survivor. So there,
just just take that as you will.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
I mean, I feel like I'm old fashioned in the
sense that I FaceTime needs to be just like that
seems to be a common thing these days, just just
a FaceTime out.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Of the blue, ambush face. I've never I've never received one.
I've never I've never.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Just looked fastating honestly, I know.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Maybe it says more about me and that people don't want.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
To see me. I don't get them. You're the only
person who face times me. What, Yeah, that's crazy, I
mean like, yeah, really, you're the only person who that's I.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Like, do not phone people like I only FaceTime people.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Who facetimes you in your life though everybody?
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Oh so you have that, yes, just not for me, Yes,
one of my best friends.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, but your other best friends.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Like I'll FaceTime Alison if I'm out of town. But
like the only other facetimes I do are I have
to like show Jenny Garth how to like unlock her email,
you know, can I see the screen? That's I'm a
bad example for this day.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
I'm with beca tale as old as time. I think
calling back is a compromise. I think that is meeting
halfway because you want to do a FaceTime.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
She'd rather just lay on the couch. A phone call
is halfway.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Well, I actually would rather hang out person to person.
So FaceTime is really meeting halfway?
Speaker 6 (20:52):
Oh my god. Wow.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Yeah, but these are all on your terms, yes, and
your point? Where is Sam available? Sam? Sam? Sam? Might? No?
I think Sam Sam could be a facetimer. Sam.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
The only FaceTime that I accept that's.
Speaker 7 (21:11):
Quote unquote ambush is from my long distance boyfriend, and
I feel like that's the only person I would also
call unsolicited.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
To say that a call from your boyfriend, a FaceTime
call from your boyfriend is an ambush, is really something
we shouldn't look into. Sam.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Okay, here's the thing. What about if you text me
and say, could.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
You know it's fine?
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Is where we can compromise it's fun and you say, hey,
can we have a FaceTime? I want to talk about
blah blah blah, and that way I feel prepared.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Oh, like you could call me on your leisure Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
If you're like, hey, can we do a FaceTime at
some point during this day, we can.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Give me the weekend. Hey, could you FaceTime me this weekend?
I'd love to talk about my period.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Oh, but that's not something I feel like I need
a FaceTime for.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Well, that's not on you to decide yet. No, that's
me needing you.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
But then you say I need you, but but don't
take advantage of that.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
I don't need you, I.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Need you like and I was very responsive to you.
I sent you a screen recording of how to use Teza.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Yeah, it was very that was just text.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
Yeah, but I did a whole screen recording. Yes, So
don't don't be outing me like I'm this like absent
friend just because I don't answer your ambush face times.
And then she just about it. She goes that guy
doesn't answer ninety nine percent of my face time. I go, okay,
but tell them I always call.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
That and I did, and you did.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Yeah, but I did have to tell you to do that.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
It's fine.
Speaker 6 (22:54):
Thank you for never face timing me.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
You're not welcome.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
There's dingeon in the studio.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
If I facetimed you without warning you, Mark, would you
answer it.
Speaker 6 (23:09):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
In fact, I think either you have to me or
I have to you. I think that's happened because I
need I needed to show you something or vice versa.
Speaker 6 (23:16):
Yeah, to unlock my email.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
I'm gonna start doing that because sometimes I'll call Mark,
like on a long drive, I'll call Mark and just
like we'll just chat you know, like, and I think
I'll FaceTime him next time.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
All right, I'm I love a phone. I love a
phone call because I can I can start clean, I
can do things while I have my phone and I
walk around.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
With it where I can do that with FaceTime too.
But why just prop it up? I know, but I
don't why why you have a tripod? That would be amazing.
Put me in your tripod face. I would love that
I could see the whole room. I could see Boebe
coming and out. Oh my gosh. Yeah yeah, But do
you want to know something so funny that, like, so
(23:56):
I've never really up on the trends, and I feel
like I was really on the up and up with
this everything Hallelujah trend. Like when would you feel like
you were up on the trends like the second like
j Justin Bieber performed at Coachella, Like I was on
this one and I'm not normally on any of them. Okay,
so I was, like thought I was so cool, and
(24:18):
like every story I posted is like Leora Coffee Hallelujah.
You know. Yeah, but how do you know when it's over?
Speaker 1 (24:27):
When you feel tired of hearing the song?
Speaker 2 (24:30):
So it's not this song. It's like everybody writing it
on their stuff. Oh oh, I don't know how. I
don't know if it if it's like I'm now a
boomer if I'm doing it.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Because I'm usually like so so late in the game,
but I was so on this one that like I
don't know what to do, Like I like impressed myself.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
I think you just go till you don't want to.
Who cares if people are and if you ever.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Cared, that's true, that's true. It's just like I'm usually
late to it and I'm fine with that, but this
time I was like on it. So I feel like
a trendsetter, you know, which is a different feeling for me.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
You feel like you did the turn like you were
like the one that was one of the first one. Yeah,
I'm personally father. I see them now and I'm like, oh,
all right, we did it. Everybody.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
It's over for you.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
It was over for me like the first weekend, you know.
But but it was because he was performing again. It
gave it second like a wind. Yeah yeah, yeah, but
I think now that.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Stagecoaches passed or it's time to retire.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
But again, if you if you love the I do
love it.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
It's like such a fund yeah Monday podcast, hallelujah.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
When I see like brands and like businesses doing it,
that's when I like, like I saw the other day,
like a real tub and like, you know, two percent down, hallelujah.
Speaker 6 (25:56):
Competitive when you know do you know what? Do you know?
Speaker 2 (25:59):
What I say saw this weekend that absolutely floored me.
What I'll tell you when we come back.
Speaker 6 (26:28):
We're back.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
So I'm scrolling on TikTok as I do now these days,
and uh, I notice or somebody. I think somebody made
a TikTok about it because I don't follow Twigs, but
I noticed that the old Okay, so you know what
twix is, right, It's like the candy with like two sticks.
Speaker 6 (26:47):
Yes, crunch mind, you didn't know what twis was.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
There's two of them, okay, two sticks, two caramel chocolate.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Yeah, So I noticed that on TikTok, Twigs is only
following two people, okay, one two twis Alex Cooper and
Alex Earl.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
That's funny.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
How funny is that?
Speaker 1 (27:15):
I know?
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I'm like these some brands, I gotta hand it off
to them. They have amazing people in their marketing or
like publicity or whatever.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
To their social media, their social media.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Department, and like, I just want to hats off to
the people that Twix execs because I don't think it's
the execs.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Definitely the social media Well no, I'm saying whoever.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Obviously it was like somebody cool that like thought of
that and then but they have to run it up
the chain, like I don't.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Think so, you don't think so. I think social media
people just like go row you think.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
I feel like with such a big brand like Twigs,
t twis, that's a big brand, they can't just like
willy nilly do stuff. I feel like you have to
run it up the chain.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
I don't know. Part of me feels like they hire
people trust like whoever the lead They probably the leads
social media person.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
So that's running it up the chain.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
Like I think they just maybe pass it through them.
I don't think it's.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
That Like the CEO of Mars Incorporated isn't signing.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Yeah, No, I don't think that that's the person that's
the social media person for Twigs. They're TikToker girl. I'm
assuming it's a girl. So sorry that was sexist because
girls are amazing and brilliant. I can't imagine that she
just willing, nearly decided to do that. I feel like
that had to have been signed off on situation.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Yes, my thing is, how does it affect the brain
at all? They're following both because.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
They're in they're because they're like in their putting. They're
inserting themselves into this like drama conversation, do you know
what I mean?
Speaker 1 (28:44):
But if they only followed one person, it was one
of the alexes that would put them in hot water.
If there's taking side.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
If anybody that works at Twigs and knows the answer
to this, please Twigs. Yeah, actually send us some Twigs
one and to the two bars and let us know.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
But to your point, I do respect brands that are
major corporate behemoths that have cool like isn't Wendy's don't
they have like I see those and I don't even
know what's real and what's not. But I feel like
Wendy's is known for having cool social media stuff that's
even borderline offensive to people and they don't care.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Yes, I love it.
Speaker 5 (29:19):
We're establishing a personality and that's smart, and I'm sure
they do stuff that makes the CEO.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
Go, oh god, what are they doing?
Speaker 2 (29:26):
But it works like there was a brand. Forgive me
for not remembering the brand. It was a drink. It
was a beverage. And when a Love Island was like
at its peak and everybody was obsessed with a Maya papaya,
they made an a maya papaya flavor of their soda.
I want to say it was poppy. It was something
like that. But anyways, they made like an amaya papaya
flavor of it, and I was like it was poppy, see, brilliant,
(29:49):
but I thought, but I was just like, that's so
amazing to me. They like and I don't think that
she was a part of it at the beginning because
she was still in the island or on the on
the show, so like she's not signed off on it.
They're just doing this because like legally, I guess you
don't you I don't really know legally, but she wasn't
(30:12):
a part of it. They just like did it.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Well, there's probably because she was on the show. She
probably had at.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Trelick domain public domain, which is a free for all.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
Yeah, when Hines made seemingly ranch, yes, I was very
impressed by that.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yes, it's so good. So anyways, I was thoroughly I
just really had a giggle at Twix this weekend and
just wanted to shout them out not a sponsor.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Where are you feeling on the Alex Cooper Alex Earl stance?
Speaker 2 (30:43):
I have a lot of thoughts about it. I feel
as podcasters, like we're in the mix, you know, like
it's like our sisters are fighting, you.
Speaker 5 (30:52):
Know, soon maybe literally, but I think that the pendulum
has swung back towards.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
So Okay. When Alex Cooper posted that TikTok basically saying
Alex Earle, share your stuff. There's no nda, Like, why
are you being passive? Aggressive?
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Tell it?
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Tell it? Tell them? Okay, I was like, this was
such a brilliant move. She's literally putting the ball in
her core and if she doesn't come up with something
salacious and like really bad, we're all gonna be on
Alex Cooper's side because she has played this up to
be like a very bad thing, right who hus Alex Earl?
(31:33):
In my opinion, she has played it up to where,
in my mind, Alex Cooper did something very shady, salty bad.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
To her, like something that things that she's posted or
just that' she posted that.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
You posted posted the way they had their falling out,
Like it's just in my It just in my as
a non participant in the situation that was, I have
built it up in my head. It fall it was
a big falling hume. So I was like, if she
comes out and says like we had an ego, you know,
budding head battle, I'd be like, Okay, Alex Cooper, koh,
(32:08):
you win, right. But now I feel like the pendulum
has really swung and people are like on Alex Earl's side.
Speaker 6 (32:17):
But she hasn't done anything, has he?
Speaker 2 (32:18):
So I think she's gonna wait till her reality show
comes out.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
Why does that make people on her side that she's
just using it for self promotion?
Speaker 2 (32:26):
I don't know, but like I do feel like and
because here's the thing. Now, all this incriminating stuff has
come out about Alex Cooper's husband and unwell as a network,
people are also saying like, why does Alex Cooper not
have any friends? But Alex Earl has like a ton
of friends, Like it's giving and then that fallout that
she had with like Sophia her barstool co host. I
(32:50):
always thought that was so bizarre when they had that
falling out, that'd be like me and you having a
falling out.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
I don't know what happened, but wasn't it like, uh,
Alex wanted to leave and Sophia dinner or something.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
So Sophia just wanted to get more money. They were
on the biggest freaking podcast that they had, and they
offered them. I think it was like a five hundred
thousand dollars contract, and Sophia Franklin, I don't know if
she's still dating this guy, but her boyfriend at the
time was like trying to negotiate their deal, and it
was like this whole thing about like Sophia shouldn't have
had her man involved, they should have gotten a man
(33:23):
involved d DA DA And now Alex Cooper literally has
her man running her company with her, so there's like
all this scuttle So it's just like not looking good
for Alex Cooper right now.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
I thought I was kind of with Mark. I felt
like I've seen more people being like frustrated that Alex
Earl isn't saying that. She acted like she was going
to say something and hasn't put anything out yet.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Really Yeah, the other side of the internet.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Their mind is like if you have, if it my
thought process coming from just the standpoint of watching it
all play out and knowing she has a reality show coming,
I'm like, of course she didn't say anything because her
team's like, we're saving this.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
For the sh Yeah, get the eyeballs, but.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
They need to get the show out. Yeah, it's like tomorrow,
like yesterday because Alex and I don't know if Alex
Cooper knew that, Like, she's not going to post this
without it being part of the show. So I'm just
gonna call her out. Now, call her out, daddy. Now.
I don't know, but I at the end of the day,
I kind of feel like everyone's going to move on
(34:22):
until the show comes out. Until Alex elsis I.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Have not moved on. These are our sisters in battle.
I feel it is our duty to be abreast of
the situation.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Shall we talk about Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
We shall allegedly engaged, well, like allegedly kind of confirmed.
Speaker 6 (34:43):
Nobody's confirmed this as a.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
Source close to the couple. Ohfferent, people's different than Paiges,
different than Pat, So Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz are
engaged eight months after first being spotted together. A source
confirms to People that Style thirty two and Kravitz thirty
seven have shared their engagement news with a small circle,
(35:05):
and that the actress has been showing off her ring
to friends. The pair sparked engagement speculation after Kravitz was
spotted wearing a massive ring on that ring on that
finger while kissing Harry Styles.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
I hate the way.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Things are written, kissing the watermelon Sugar singer, Like, yeah, oh,
is that it? She was previously seen wearing the sparkler
during an outing with Harry on April nineteenth. So this
makes me sad for them because I feel like the
fact that they shared it with a small circle means
that somebody in that small circle leaked it.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Well, no, I saw paparazzi photos of her wearing the ring,
so she was.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
Trying to no, but we got that news last week. Yeah,
that she was wearing a ring. But like, that's all
speculation until somebody in the immediate circle says something.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
What if the small circle is his publicist?
Speaker 2 (35:52):
He said, just put it out, you see, I.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Mean her wearing the ring. They were gonna get hounded
about it until they acknowledged something.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
So did you think that they want to be the
ones to share it? Like they're like engagement photos and they're.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Not gonna share. What is it he's going to post
an Instagram?
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Yeah, maybe a joint statement, a joint post from Zoe
and Harry together, like come on, the.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Love of my life. He's never posted anything personal about
his life.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
I would enjoy a joint a joint carousel.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
They're very They're both very private to me, so I
don't think you're gonna get that, but I love I
love a carousel of artsy images of them together. Well,
how do you feel about this because this is the
first time he's been engaged.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Yeah, yeah, this bitch I engaged three times and I.
Speaker 6 (36:42):
Don't never know how she feels about it.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
I had to work hard for my one, okay, and
she's been engaged three times.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
She's just like collecting infinity stones on her fingers.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
No, but honestly, I feel like she needs to be studied.
This woman.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
She looks she's she's the most like perfect human being,
physically mystery to her. Like, I think she's cool. I
think she plays it perfectly and she's probably like if
you're not gonna. If you're not gonna lock me down,
I'll move on. I'll have no issue finding someone else.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Lock it down after eight months. Like that's some magic
right there. Yeah, Harry is amazing. I can't speak for
Zoe because I don't know her. I just like you know,
like I know Harry. He's an amazing man. Yeah, she's lucky.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Yeah he's lucky. He say they're lucky. I think there.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
I don't know her, we don't know her. I know him.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Okay, well then we have to trust his character, right.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Yes, I trust his pick. Yeah I do.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
What did you feel like when you first saw the news?
Was there a gut punch?
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Well, no, silly, I'm married.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Oh oh silly, silly trying to get Robbie a little
jealous with it. So I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
I do? I do?
Speaker 1 (37:58):
I he's probably feeling relieved today, Dodge that we got
to get them to the Altar US.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Call it Ryan Seacrest to officiate. But yeah, I don't know.
I'm really happy for him because I feel like he's
ready for this next phase of his life.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
What. Yeah, you feel like he's ready?
Speaker 2 (38:21):
Well, he said it in like an interview publicly.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
That he's ready to settle down.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
Yeah, and he once to have a family, and like
that's what the next five years of his life looks like.
It was an interview with Zaye Low. It was a
beautiful interview, gorgeous. Yeah, I wish it was mine, not
him or I see, I see, And I would give
for one hour sit down with Harry Styles. I had
that back in the day.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Yeah, he's gonna say, You've had a couple of those, haven't.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
You, But like I, I only have a certain amount
of time. Like the Zaye Low ones I feel like
are just like they could go as long as they want.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Yeah, they basically just spend a whole day together and
then like chilling. Yeah. Yeah, well you feel just happy
for the couple.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
You're engaged in the same season of life as Harry
and Zoe.
Speaker 1 (39:08):
Yeah, I'm engaged in this season of life with a
lot of Oh this was my question about it, So
aren't okay? Yes, Imaginedly Taylor and Harry dated, right, that's what.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
I was Allegedly. I think that was like very public.
They were like holding hands and stuff, Okay, publicly.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
Hung out twelve to early thirteen.
Speaker 6 (39:27):
They supposedly dated.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Yeah, and allegedly Out of the Woods is about them. Yeah,
and so obviously this was a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
Everyone at him.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Yeah, and everything. Everyone's moved on. Taylor's engaged, Harry's engaged.
And but Harry, I mean, Taylor Swift and Zoe Kravitz,
weren't they aren't they really close? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (39:52):
Zoe Kravitz, I think like co wrote some of her
songs from Midnights Midnights.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
And stayed in her house during the fire their mom.
So I'm just curious if there's any dialogue between the
two of Zoe and Taylor, because it's been I'm sure,
But do you think Zoey's like, are you okay? If?
Speaker 2 (40:13):
If Taylor is anything, she is evolved? She does not care.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
Yeah, but I'm saying, do you think there was even
a conversation needing to be had? This has been so long? No?
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Yeah, I don't. But I do think that they'll all
be at her wedding, Harry and Zoe at Taylor's wedding. Yeah,
of course. Wow, don't you think that makes sense? I
guess unless Harry has a show, but I doubt it.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Taylor's like Zoe, just you and no plus one.
Speaker 5 (40:43):
Yeah, right, She's credited as co writer on Lavender Hayes
and Karma.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Yeah it's cool.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
I didn't know she was a songwriter.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Well her day.
Speaker 6 (40:51):
Doesn't any Kravits Harry's father in law.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Yeah, that's crazy, Like they have to do a duet
or do they call it like a duet?
Speaker 1 (41:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yeah, yeah, they have to the Madonna and Sabrina for
the men.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Kind of right, Harry and yeah, yeah, it was a
great comparison job on that.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Old school new school. Yeah, passing the baton.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Well, I'm very happy we plow them up. We love
a beautiful couple being engaged in love.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
We do.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
We support them, we do.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
I support Harry Styles could do anything, and I would
support him.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
You didn't have a like slight feeling of that shit
be me hold in your hand?
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Mentioned me me wearing that ring? No, no, no, no,
but that ring is he you?
Speaker 1 (41:46):
Yeah? I would expect nothing less.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
That is that is quite a mountain on her hand.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
We do have to end the podcast, what yeah, we do.
But don't you worry because we will be back on
Thursday with a dear Bania. So stay tuned for Thursday
and have a wonderful week. We love you so much.
I love you so
