Too happy for twenty two. Oh thank you, You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
It's so thoughtful.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Do you bring me anything?

Speaker 5 (00:30):
I did not.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
I figured you had what you need. Actually, I was
just celebrate.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
The other day. We were dabbling in some gardening and
I went to get I was like, which one.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Do you want?

Speaker 1 (00:42):
And I went and we so many because we don't
do it so often where it's like every night, you know,
so whenever there's a sale at the place that we
go get them, we just stalk up because it We're
like why not?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
And then I was.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Going through and I'm like, man, if someone came and
looked at this collection, it would be a little but
have no fear.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
We just to have options.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah. Yeah, so thanks so much.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Enjoy if you partake blaze it up.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
My dream is to is to do it with Tanya,
but you won't do it with me.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
I will do it before your bacherette party.

Speaker 6 (01:18):
Wow, because I.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Will I'll do it for you, my bachelor, but I
feel like doing it then for the first time might
be problematic for many reasons. So one time prior, I
think would be.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
We gotta find the one that you like that you know.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah, it just sounds Oh my gosh, that'd be the greatest.

Speaker 7 (01:40):
Happy wedding shows up with a giant bond.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Well that's the thing. I don't smoke because I tried
to smoke one time and I nearly coughed to death.
So I have not I don't smoke. I only will
do the gummies. And and like when I say we
do gummies, we do like the smallest amount.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
It sounds.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I'm people have this perception of us or me that
they're like Beckage just high all the time.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I have that perception Becca's just getting high every night.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
No, not every night, not every night.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Mostly it would be like when if you want to
just have a glass of wine, and really that would
be the equivalent because we never drink.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I understand that feeling.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I was at Coachella yesterday sober.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Now that is something to talk about.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, well, shall we get into the weekend.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
There's so much talk about Yeah, that's right, not only
did I meet Love Island.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
UK Royalty, Oh my gosh, I also.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Made friends with thirteen year olds and wow.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah, I have so many questions about this to San
Diego to visit my family. So there's like a yeah,
there's just like a lot to talk about. But I
feel like we should start with Coachella because that was,
I mean, the last weekend of Coachella. Yeah, it's in
the books for twenty twenty six, Finesto, finachto oh Goodbye.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Pretty iconic. I think record breaking, I imagine.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
And Weekend two was way better than Weekend one.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
No, I kind of like, I kind of felt bad
for everyone who went to Weekend one because I felt
like Weekend two was so much better.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
No, because if you think about it, they get to
see it with fresh eyes, so it's like brand new
to Weekend one, whereas like Weekend two, there's like a
little bit like it's not fresh.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
But you could have not watched it, and you could
have gone off fresh eyes not watched it.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
I don't want you didn't see anything from Weekend one.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
There's so I'm saying I feel clips but not the show,
the whole show itself. But I mean it was spectacular,
objectively better. Yeah, like I would say I almost had.
I would say a hint of fomo about missing Saturday Night, yes,
And I can't say I felt any fomo the week

(03:53):
I had.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
The fomo like all the weekends. But like, honestly, the
fact that Haley came out weekend two, Oh.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah, yeah, I thought we were talking about Haley Beeber
but Haley.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Haley, right. The fact that she came out weekend two
made her even cooler.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
I know, so she she announced yesterday, so I can
say this, but on the Girls Like Girls soundtrack, she
has a song coming out with Gigi Perez and so
they just have a really special relationship and they really
champion each other. And Gigi's team and family are some
of the most amazing humans and there Haley just goes

(04:32):
so well with them and they work well together. And
so Gigi had asked Haley to come out and seeing
Girls Like Girls because Gigi's talked so much about how
when she was younger, she never even thought she could
be open about liking girls, and Haley's song like It
changed her life and that's the reason she's able to
sing about loving women too, And so she had Haley
come out and it was so fun and exciting.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I it's so weird because.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Haley's such as a multi hyphen it and she does
so much, and it's hard to keep up because there's
one thing that she does would be something that I
would need to celebrate for myself for a week. Yeah,
and she does all those things in a week, you know. Yeah, she'shot,
multiple like music video stuff in a week. And then

(05:21):
she did a book fair on Saturday at usc and
then she drives up and performs at Coachella. So anyways,
she comes out on stage and I was so overwhelmed
because I've seen her do it so many times, but
I haven't seen her do that.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
In a long time, uh huh.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
And I know how much she loves being on stage
and doing music and being in front of a crowd.
And I was trying to film, but it was so hot.
It was one thousand degrees. It was oh my god,
it was so hot. And then my eyes. I didn't
have my sunglasses on because I was trying to see
it with clear vision, right, so the sun was in
my eyes. My eyes are watering because I got emotional,

(05:59):
like getting to so like, I don't know, just overcome
with emotion, and then my hands are shaking because I'm
trying to film and hold it enough and get the
right angle. It was just an overwhelming experience. But did
you get the shot? I got shot?

Speaker 4 (06:13):
I know I haven't posted.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
It was a long day.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
But first of all, let me say, this is the
most luxurious Coachella experience that I've had. And I've been
with a brand before. Okay, so just so you know,
I was not prepared for this. But well, let me
go back eight years ago. I met Haley on April fourth,
two weeks later. She she was performing at Coachella right

(06:37):
and I drove over for just to watch her performance.
I was down bad, drove off to the desert with Brittany.
We ran across the field to get her to catch
her set, and then she got in the car and
we rode back together. And it was just so cool
that eight years later we were going back together as

(06:59):
an engaged cup Bull and it was so much fun.
So anyways, we get there and they had gotten her trailer,
so we're in the artist section and we had a trailer,
so we're in the We have our bathroom mirrors to
freshen up.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
So then drive right up to the to the the.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Parked in like the artists parking.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
So we still that's far from the trailers.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
No it's not.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I mean it was a quick john.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
It was a quick john.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I mean it's still a walk, but yeah, And so
then she goes and does sound check and make sure
everything sounds good.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
And then.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Next thing I know, she's going on stage and we're
watching and and then it ends and we get to
go back to the trailer, freshen up, cool off. And
then our friend Christian works for Red Bull and Red
Bull has this, Yeah, it does give you wings, but
it also has this. They built this structure. It's not
a tent or anything. It's called the Red Bull Mirage,

(07:56):
and it's facing one of the DJ sets. So during
the sets, which we can what stage, Yeah, hard to say.
I couldn't tell you, do you lab? I think it's
a new one. Feels like a newer one, one of
the new stages. But all the the the Red Bull
Lounge has three stories and it's all windows, so you're
if you're sitting in there, you're looking out.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
At the stage.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
And so we go and on the third floor there's
a no boo, So we had a full noboo meal.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
You know what, you said you were going to nobu
and I was like, who's gonna tell her there isn't
one in Palm Springs.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
It looks like, let.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Me tell you.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
It was fresh.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
So we were eating sushi while there was a DJ
set playing, and then we left and we were like
what should we go do?

Speaker 4 (08:42):
We went and rode the ferris.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Wheel, which I've yeah, we never thought to actually write it,
just take a picture in front of it. So we
all rode the ferris wheel and then afterwards we're standing
there taking pictures. Haley and I take a picture in
front of the faires Wheel, and then this guy comes
up and he's just by himself, and he goes, oh,
do you want me to get a picture of all

(09:04):
of you together?

Speaker 4 (09:05):
And we're like, oh my gosh, this is so nice.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
But this man he's sober, so he's and he's just
by himself, so we're like, what what's the angle here? Yeah,
and clearly the Haley and I we just kiss when
he walked up, so we're obviously together.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
And then yeah, so he takes a picture.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Then he goes, are scary, Oh yeah, like let's just
let that be known. Like, if you're a guy, find
a guy friend to walk around with. Because a solo
man trotting around Coachella it's giving scary, So you'll bring
a dog with you, like either or I don't think
there's dogs a lot, then bring a friend.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
So he takes the photo and then he hands it
back and he's like, do y'all mind if I sing
a song for y'all, A blessing over you. He'sing a
blessing over you? Okay, So we're like, sure, you know
we're not. We're all nice, polite people. Yeah, like what
a bowld you just took a photo for us? Of course,
go ahead sing. So he starts singing this Christian song

(10:04):
called the Blessing. We're all clapping. He's singing a great voice,
and he goes, can I pray for y'all? So no
one wants to say, no, are you a candid camera?

Speaker 5 (10:14):
This is a show.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
So we're all looking at each other and we're like, okay, sure,
So we all huddle in the circle and he prays
and it was lovely, like it was a very lovely prayer.
And then we're all like, thank you so much, and
then he says, you know, this is your time to
accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, and one
of the girls goes, well, thank you, but we're gonna

(10:37):
miss our sets. We walk away and we were like,
you know that that was really bold and we admire
his boldness. And personally I used to be very much
like like, if I would have seen himical evangelical, I
used to be if I would have seen him doing this,

(10:58):
I would have been like, wow, that is what we're
supposed to be doing. But I had this realization after
being out of that world, of realizing that there is
a way of doing this right. The way he approached
us was really nice. He was super kind and I
didn't feel like judgmental at all, and he prayed and
he's saying and that was great.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
But if he would have just been like, I just.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Want to let you know, guys know that Jesus loves you,
I think that would have been more impactful, right, because
I think we walked away being like.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Was that the right? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
There was just something that kind of made everyone feel off,
and I'm like, that's the opposite of what the goal.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
Is, right.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
I mean, it's like me walking up to strangers and
saying like, hey, have you seen Love Island UK? Let
me tell you the fifteen reasons why you should watch it,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (11:44):
And then do you accept the oath to watch it
every week?

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Right?

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Every day.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
I'm just trying to find a parallel of just something
totally uber that I believe in big time. Yeah yeah, yeah,
But I.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Was telling Haley, I was like, the whole thing is
he had a message he wanted to get across, just
like you have a message you want to get across.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
Your message is girls like girls and like people. Just
let people love who they want to love.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah, And his message is I want to let people
know that there's a God who loves them. And I
think it it could be simplified in a way that
could be more impactful with less you know.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
And then these women came up while we were praying
that were obviously with him, and they started praying along
with him.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
And being like amen, amen.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
So I felt like they was kind of an ambush situation.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Well, he should have started out with the women next
to him because it would have been less scared.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah. So then we walk in these this other group
comes up and they have tinfoil in their hand and
they go, quick, what's a conspiracy theory?

Speaker 4 (12:34):
You believe in? Getting targeted?

Speaker 6 (12:40):
So then they you are approachable.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
They you're like smiley, like, you'd be my number one
target if I was doing that.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Really.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Yeah, they start putting these foil hats like on you,
on the girls who gave their conspiracy favorite conspiracy theory.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
So then we walk over.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
To a set and this girl comes up and to
our friend Sammy goes, I want to give you this gift,
and it's like a little figuring fox. We're like, what's happening?
Why do we have a target on ourselves?

Speaker 4 (13:10):
What's going on? So anyways, it was great, we were
all sober. It was fun.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
But I decided that I don't know that I'll go
back to Coachella or No, unless Haley's performing or Doctor
Schulz sponsors me. I'll go with Doctor Schulz. And I
actually think that'd be a great brand collapse because I.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Think so too.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
I use a lot of their products and I would
love to promote them. Yeah, I'd love to be Gelling
in the desert.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Wow, what an experience.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
And then we drove home a time we left it
ten so got home. I'm like, yeah, but I I
honestly feel like it was the best way to do it.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
I like, don't really enjoy people approaching me when I'm sober, Like,
please don't approach me with tinfoiled hats and figurines.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
They were funny though, because they would say every time
they put the foil on someone's they go one of us,
one of us. But they were laughing, so they were like,
I didn't feel scared of them.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
They were laughing, like they weren't sacrificing you or something, right, right,
But we were like, are we have we entered colts?

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Are we being inducted into colts?

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Left? And right? So anyways, that was really interesting. But yeah,
it was so fun. Hailey is such a star, Like
when she comes out, it's just so easy and natural
and like, you know, it comes.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
It was born in the sauce, Born in the.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Sauce, Born in the sauce.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Oh, like, isn't it.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
It's a saying at a very specific restaurant, oh a
long time ago, which I don't remember, but I'll look
it up. Oh my god, there's something the chef would
say to Ryan was born.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, that's a.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Really niche a niche.

Speaker 7 (15:08):
I didn't realize it.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Was so niche because I've been hearing here for so
many years. I thought it was just like a common
mar toxico.

Speaker 6 (15:14):
There you go, Yeah in West Hollyway.

Speaker 7 (15:16):
Yeah, I assume that was something you picked up from
the thirteen year olds you made friends.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Literally just about to ask which I wanted to get to,
but I don't know that. Do I have anything else
to add to Coachella?

Speaker 4 (15:27):
I think that's it?

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Okay, great, Yeah, so we'll.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Get into a little bit about my weekend and we
come back.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Oh, I know, we're back.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
She might be tired, but she's back.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
He's back.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
So my weekend started off on such a high because
I was having a late lunch. It was like three
or four o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, and lo
and behold, I make eye contact with the one, the
only Helena Ford from Love Island UK. Yeah, thank you,

(16:22):
sitting right next to her, Jess. I don't know her
last name from also Love Island UK.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
You couldn't have looked up her last name.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
But this podcast, nobody knows their Everybody knows their first names,
like Hella, everybody knows Helena, like nobody knows her full name.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
But you know her well.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
But what I'm saying is like the love island lore
is first names.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Like there's only one Jess.

Speaker 8 (16:50):
Okay, I'll they were both on the same season, know
that they were on separate seasons, but then this recent
All Star season, I see, yeah, the latest one that
I've been like obsessed with.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Okay, so I make eye contact and I like, b
line it up and I'm like, oh my gosh.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
I love you guys so much.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
And they were like hey, and I was like, what
are you doing here because they're like UK, you know,
and I'm like, we're in the USA, and they were like,
we were at Coachella last weekend and we extended our
trips so we could like visit LA And I was like, oh.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
My gosh, that is so cool.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
And then I just like go into like are you
guys dating anyone? Oh, right down to the business because
like small talk, I know, and then I realized I
was like, oh wait, is it weird that I asked
you that? And they were like, oh no, we were
on a dating show and we were talking about like
the guy that Helena was with on her season and
and then they were like petting Sonny and.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
Like, oh, your book's so cute, and I was like ah.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
And then they were sitting Neither of them like got
up from like they were seated to eat lunch, you know.
And so I took social cues and did not get
a selfie with them. Wow, although I wanted everything in
me to take a selfie with them. Luckily for me,
my friend Paulina was sitting down at our table and
she took like stalker photos of I was wondering, how, yeah,

(18:12):
so I have so I have those to cherish forever.
But here's the best part. I followed you oh so oh,
I asked him because I was asked them to come
on the podcast, like how long are you guys in La?
They were gone this morning. I got shoot. So anyways,
I sit back down, I have my lunch. They were
they leave, Jess walks over to me to say bye babe.

Speaker 5 (18:34):
I was like, wow, bye girl.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
Quickly go on Instagram follow follow because I realized I
didn't follow one of them, which was embarrassing big man.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
But guess what what.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
They both messaged me and they both followed me on
Instagram do you think they're now like best friend?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Do you think they saw that you were like a
public figure?

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Don't care?

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Well no, I mean I'm do you think that's what
it was?

Speaker 4 (19:01):
They were like, oh, she's.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
Like we were soul sisters.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Yeah, that's what I meant. Actually, do you.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Want to the best part? So I like, you know me,
if I get an inch, I'd take a mile. And
so I'm very proud of your social cues.

Speaker 7 (19:15):
So like, that's gross.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
So they both messaged me saying like nice to meet
you or whatever, and I lovely to meet you.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
And I responded to both of them individually.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
And then now now I'm like commenting on their stories.
So they like were at this one restaurant. I was like,
oh my gosh, my favorite place. I'm not responding to them.

Speaker 9 (19:38):
They said, girl, we were being nicelf.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Next time I go jaunt over to the UK, you
know we'll be hitting them up.

Speaker 9 (19:50):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Very exciting.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
It was very exciting, Like it was really a star siding.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
I was on high, Like I literally was on such
a high from that. Then this group of young girls
come and they sit down at the table next to us,
and I like, make a little bet with Pauline. I'm like,
how old do you think these girls? This table of girls,
there's like eight of them. Okay, She's like, I think
they're probably like sixteen. I was like, I feel like
they're probably like fourteen. So we like look over to them.
How old are you guys? Thirteen? They're by themselves, by themselves, there's.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
Like eight of them.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
Is this crazy?

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Apparently not?

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Because they're school They just go out of school and
they'll walk into town to like grab food and their
parents pick them up from like in town.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I see, I see. Yeah, Okay, got.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
All the lowdown.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
So then we start talking to them because I'm like,
let me just pick their brains, you know, like be
one with the thirteen year olds.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
I'm just dying.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Like the segment before this, Tanya said, I hate the
approach when I'm sober and here we are approaching.

Speaker 7 (20:47):
Restaurant, was like, mark police, can you come sooner please?

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Yeah? These thirteen year olds were so excited to talk
to us because first of all, they sat down and
I was like asking them, like, oh, like what artists
do you guys listen to? And they were like Drake,
Tate McCrae, Olivia Rodrigo and I was like, okay, cute.
I was like, do you guys watch Love Island? They
were like, yeah, we love Lavine. I was like, Helen
and Jess, we're just here.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Where they go?

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Where'd they go?

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I was like, wow, me and the thirteen year olds
one and the same. And then some like some YouTubers,
some sisters. Do you guys know these like three sisters.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Hitman's no, no.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
If I heard the name, it would on YouTube. They're
like YouTube stars. Anyways, they like saw them across the
street and they start like running over to them, and
I was like, who is that. They're like, Oh, it's
the blah blah blah sisters. They're so huge.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
Yes, uh Caligaria sisters.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Big with the thirteen year olds, oo with the third.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
So I'm like, I'm just using this as like research
purposes at this point, asking them what kind of makeup
brands they use?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Use they use?

Speaker 4 (21:53):
This is so funny.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
The whole thing's so funny to me because, well, tell
me what makeup brands they use them, and then I'm
gonna explain why this is so.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Fun Tart they use, Patrick Tow, some dabbled with Tower
twenty eight. Okay, Nars I think, yeah, nothing like talking
yeah road a little road, Yeah yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
So I love this because Tanya tells me she's in
with the thirteen year olds and she's figuring out what
skincare they like. And I'm thinking to myself, we are
so far from thirteen that what skin care they're using
is not going to be beneficial for us.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Was researching for my own purposes, Like, I'm not gonna
start like using their skincare the research for it. I
just want to like know, And I asked them, like
what social media apps are you guys looking at? Like
what's your social media of choice? Like, are you guys
having boyfriends.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
Like your step son?

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (22:50):
I just like, yeah, I'm just like wanting to like
get in on the get the lowdown. You know, what
are they talking about?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (22:58):
What are they doing?

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Are they kissing boys? You know?

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Are they? Uh?

Speaker 5 (23:04):
It was like kind of fifty to fifty.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
Robbie was like, it's a little appropriate.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
You asked, are you kissing boys?

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Well, to be fair, it was like Paulina, but no,
it came up actually with Love Island, the kissing.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
They kiss on that show. Yeah, do you guys kiss? Yeah,
it's all weird.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
You've seen that they kiss on Love Island and are
y'all kissing boys and challenges?

Speaker 3 (23:24):
The worst part is it is like I got all
of their instagrams start following.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
All of them.

Speaker 7 (23:29):
This looks so bad on paper, it's so bad.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
I go, were anyone's moms with them? They're gonna be
Who was this creepy woman following all of it?

Speaker 7 (23:37):
Do you want to pet my dog?

Speaker 5 (23:39):
I I drive a white vand do you want to
come see it?

Speaker 1 (23:44):
No?

Speaker 3 (23:44):
But actually one of them was like, oh my aunt
follow my aunts follow you. I was like, your ants
are cool.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
That's what.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
And then I had this moment of thinking because when
she said their aunts follow I was thinking of older
women as ants, and I'm like, they're probably.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Our age or younger for sure, Like we are.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
The ants, that's right? And that was humbling.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Really Yeah, Well, all in all, I learned a lot
and now I have.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
Just like it's just a wealth of knowledge.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
It's just a wealth.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Yeah, But I guess what I'm trying.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
It's not a student of life, and we know that
about you.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
But what I'm trying to figure out is it's so
it's so much knowledge you took in But for what purpose.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Life? Do you not think it's so important to know
what the youth of our generation cares about?

Speaker 1 (24:30):
No, I don't really, Yeah, because there's what apps they're using.
They all have kids, and I'm not. I don't you
know that, Like I'm not. That's not just I think
that's what I'm saying. I think you using it as
research for your step son being in the age range.
That makes it all feel okay. But the rest of it,
I'm just like thirteen, so young from where we are young. Yeah, yeah,

(24:51):
at so I don't have a need of knowing what
they're doing or up to.

Speaker 6 (24:55):
Well, that's that's Jen Beta by the way, gen Z Anymore,
I mean.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
The fact that they loved Love Island as much as
I did, like literally made too.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
I think you probably love a lot of things that
the thirteen year old girls like.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Though yes, definitely are girls.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
Girls are girls.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
I was actually shocked here they love I Love Island
and in the sense of being able to allow to
watch it, I'm really very wholesome.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
At the end of the day, UK, Oh, but you
one is not wholesome.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
No, it's okay, No, no, no, Well.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
I don't know about the kay, how much more wholesome
it is.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
But I could be surprised and grew up in a
stract household with what I was allowed to watch.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Oh not me, Oh.

Speaker 6 (25:40):
I wanted to share.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
I had a celebrity sighting at a restaurant, and I
too had self control and did not ask for a selfie.
Allison and I were in Vegas this weekend for WrestleMania
and we were walking. We went to Lens as a
work trip, though this was this is a work trip.

Speaker 6 (25:55):
You're not a fan of wrestling, are you? Or maybe
you are?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
And I am now okay, wait, can I make a guess? Yes,
the mizz No, that's all I know is that a wrestler.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
So Allison is like a massive Holly Madison fan. We
went to lunch with our friend Jensen, who is married
to Daniel fishl As the three of us walking through
a casino going to lunch talk about how much we
love Holly Madison and he's like, oh, yeah, she's a
friend of mine, like she was gonna be on the
pod but blah blah blah. We walk in the restaurant,
she's sitting right there and uh, and he's just he

(26:25):
just looks at me and goes, is that And I'm
like yeah. Then he walks over, He's like, hey, Holly,
it sys high. And then she stands up and he
introduces her to us, and then she looks at Allison
and goes, you have the most beautiful skin, and Allison
just starts like levitating towards the heavens. She was on
cloud nine and wanted a photo so bad, but we
were both like, she was eating lunch with people, so
we weren't gonna be like, can I get a photo?

(26:45):
But the worst, the worst for that happening.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
It's the worst.

Speaker 6 (26:48):
Could I just clarify for a certain percentage of her audience,
Holly Madison has a reality show?

Speaker 10 (26:54):
Yesfl guy she Yeah, I'm not sure about her post
half relationships, but she was on Girls next Door?

Speaker 3 (27:04):
Yeah, but how is she in WrestleMania now?

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Oh? She?

Speaker 7 (27:07):
I mean, she was just in Vegas. She's just a
Vegas person and she's just always kind of bopping around.
She and I have had some TikTok back and forth
about some Vegas stuff.

Speaker 6 (27:17):
We'll just leave it at that.

Speaker 7 (27:18):
But that self control to not ask for the photo
is very is difficult. But we prevailed.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
If they had stood up at lunch. I would have
gone in with the selfie.

Speaker 6 (27:29):
Holly stood up.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
I would have been in for that. They stood up,
it would have been game over. But they remained seated,
so I was like crouching down next to them felt
a little invasive.

Speaker 7 (27:42):
Foods in the shop, Can you help the sandwich up too?

Speaker 5 (27:45):
They're like midto forks up.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yeah, it does take because once you have the bravery
or the introduction, it almost feels like that was the
hard part.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
But asking for a photo is just.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
A It takes it to the next level of needing,
the bravery or the willpower to not do it.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Guys, I when I tell you like, I don't really
get Like I got flustered. I long sleeve shirt on,
sweats and it was like one hundred degrees out and
so I was sweating, Like I was like there was
like a lot like lips and I just got my
eyebrows laminated and so I had like no makeup on.
My eyebrows were like.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
I know, those eyes were wide. It was exactly, Oh
they were wide. Wait, we didn't even talk about Justin
Bieber bringing Billie Eilish up and we just we just.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
Your Coachell experience. There was so much other Coachella to
experience there was.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
It was the highlight.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
But I the reason why I had Fombo was because
it just I felt like he was having the time.
He seems so relaxed and like he was loving it.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
So everybody online is basically saying like Weekend one was
his reset and Weekend two was the fans. Wow, but
did you see the video of the one fan like
grabbing his crotch.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Yeah, but I don't think it wasn't appropriate. But I
also was watching her and she's not looking at she
doesn't know where she's grabbed.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
He was just trying to touch him.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Oh okay, And that's why I think he stood there
still but just covered himself to measure because.

Speaker 7 (29:18):
That was pretty clear what part of the body she's
reaching for.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
Yeah, but I think she.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Was like holding her phone up trying to Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Okay, that makes me feel better because I was like,
this is so inappropriate, especially because.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
Embarrassing for her if she did that. Yeah, I think
you were just.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Trying to reach to touch him and was trying to
get her phone out.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
And justin probably felt that because he didn't react, He
just kind of like put his arm down to kind
of shoot it away, but he didn't like move away
or like.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
That's just it.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
Yeah, I think he knew. She's frantically trying.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
To do You think they told that section of fans
like he's gonna come up to you during your his
Coachella performance, so.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
Be behaved like. There's no way he just randomly went
in there like that.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
I don't think the fans knew.

Speaker 5 (29:59):
You don't, m m Are you sure, Bieber?

Speaker 3 (30:05):
There's no way Justin Bieber had his back to the
crowd with all these people behind him, and they were
not pre vetted by security. I just can't imagine pre
vetted as in like security went over and was like,
Justin's gonna come over here during his performance.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
I've never been told if an artist is walking through
the crowd or anything, it just happens and you're frantically
trying to.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
I'm going to be somebody that was out there and
touched him to verify for me, because I really can't
imagine that that was just willy and nilly.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Yeah, I feel like.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
It was willy nilly. But a lot of people were saying.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
That Haley was supposed to be the one girl, but
she pushed Billy up there, but I don't know if
that's true.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
But either way, I love I love both stories, whether.

Speaker 11 (30:49):
It was always planned to be Billy or if it
was supposed to be here, I like this one better.
I think that if it was supposed to be Haley
and she pushed Billy up Yeah, Speaking of Bieber, Yeah,
so you posted a lie with Justin Bieber where he's
like finding people to join him.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yes, and then your face pops up Yes, was it real?

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Beca messages me on Saturday and goes the Bieber video
is that AI? And I'm like the fact that you
think that I could actually even make that in AI?

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Did it? I did not think you did that.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Rob was like the fact that Beca thinks I can
make this AI is really just a testament a compliment,
because I would have known left from right how to
make that from into AI.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Okay, well, respectfully, I thought Robbie did.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
It, so respectfully, it was me and it was real
life and it was twenty twenty, so it was quarantine
and he was doing I can't remember why he was
doing it, but he was doing Instagram lives with like
a bunch of different radio jocks. Oh, because we were
in quarantine. So I was like, remember everybody was doing
those Instagram lives. So somebody turned my Instagram live like
into a meme that said, like on the top it

(31:49):
was like a Quarantine Friday with Justin Bieber or something
like that.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
So I took it and I thought.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
It'd be funny because the first weekend of Coachella he
was like trying to like.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
YouTube stuff, you know, so very like the moment.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
So I took it and I chopped it up and
made it my little like thing.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Wait, so did you really talk to him?

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (32:10):
I was like, real, that was like super super legit.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
Somebody had screamed like somebody else screen recorded it, and
so I save that I don't have. There was even
like a part where Haley's the background She's like I
love Tanya.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Yeah, because you know them, like you met them and stuff.
So that is so crazy.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
I know.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
In the back I found it too.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Yeah, kind of impressive of you.

Speaker 6 (32:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
It was a It was a real thing, but it
was from I believe it was I don't know the month,
but it was definitely twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
And you were doing like radio stuff.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
It was Yeah, it was like a radio thing.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
What song was he promoting or what.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
I don't remember what he was doing or why he
was doing it, but it was so funny because it
took him a long time to like find me because
I was the one doing I was doing it wrong,
Like he kept saying, like looking for Tanya Rad, Tanya Rad,
just like request me so I can accept you. And
then meanwhile I'm on the other end like texting the
label like why can't he see me?

Speaker 5 (32:59):
I'm in there, and they're like, you have to request.
I was like, oh no, one.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Had a harder time with technology during COVID, and that
was his.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
First one, so I was like he's probably like, oh hell.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
This sonya Rat and then we're out.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
No. Actually I remember because my friend Simon who works
at HITS one also had like a picture from like
her live with him too.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Remember when you were we.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Did those scrubbing him live on during COVID on the
computer and you were in the chat and you guys.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Couldn't hear me. It was so miserable. I still have
like flashbacks. I still like I have like PTSD with
like computers. Yeah, I think people can hear me when
I'm on you like it's just bad.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Well, thanks for clearing their Yeah yeah, yeah, so it
wasn't ai Yeah, very timely.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
I I wish I had like the full video of
like what we chatted about, but that was like.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
We're somewhere in the ether, Yeah, in the ether.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Anybody who works on Instagram, here's the question what this year?

Speaker 6 (33:59):
Clearly weekend is superior to weekend one next year and
by the way, tickets go on Saily week on Friday
next year, if you could only go to one weekend
wish do you choose in advance knowing that this year
weekend two was the better weekend?

Speaker 1 (34:11):
We can I just go to weekend two in general,
because it's unless I went with doctor Schulz and they
were going weekend one, or we can, I would not
have a choice. But or I think I would go
Weekend two. I think it's a little less chill, I
mean a little more chill. Yeah, and I think that
everyone's had their they've done the run through almost weekend one.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
I don't know, but there's fewer well actually this year
they are more surprises, but most years in that there's
fewer surprises the weekend two because it's a repeat of
weekend one, so then you're not there for the big
the big moments potentially.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
So I say this as someone who is in the
influencer world and considers myself an influencer, but I think
the week one has kind of become so influencer heavy
that I almost think the celebrities and the artists are like,
I'm gonna make weekend two for the fans since the
weekend one is this like.

Speaker 4 (35:06):
Could like influencer what do they call influencer super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Yeah, but I also think still weekend one you're seeing
things with virgin eyes, So there is.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
That I am advantage of if you're just a fan
and you're like, I want to be the first to
see it, Yeah, without the influence, like without any of
the outside stuff, then I think weekend one is really special.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Yeah, like watching Serena Carpenter go up in that thing
with the spout fountains, but like seeing that for the
first time would have like literally made me pass out.
If I saw the second, like the second time, like
I'd be like, okay.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Yeah, you just would have been like been there, done that.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (35:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
I mean I think there's advantages I just personally because
it's because the crowd seems to be a little more chill.

Speaker 4 (35:50):
I would choose weekend two because I'm.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Out there line.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
It did not look chiller.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
It's not chill, it's a feat.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
It looked like chaotic both week It.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
Is a weird thing, and I don't know, Like I said,
I just haven't been in so long, but watching people
in crowds moving in one direction to walk to another
stage is a really weird sight. And it feels scary
almost because there it's like this mass going in one direction.

(36:22):
And this one girl we were trying to figure out
this huge crowd was going to the stage.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
I was like, who are you?

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Are you?

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Where's everyone going?

Speaker 1 (36:28):
And he goes, I don't.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Know, I'm just calling in the crowd like, oh okay.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
I will say when I went.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
When I was for there for Bachella and I went
into the crowd, I was solo because I was there
with our boss Biatta and it was just me and her,
and so She's like, I'm gonna watch from out here,
and I was like, I need to be like in there.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
So I went in.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
I was by myself and it was euphoric like everybody's
but I was drunk.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
Yeah, I think being sober.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
In that type of crowd alone would cause some anxiety
for me. Yeah, but I think it's those festivals are
for people who just love music and they want to
go from stage to stage and see the artists they love,
and even if they're sitting in the back on the grass,
which I actually think is more enjoyable. Yeah, and getting

(37:17):
to do that all in one weekend is a dream
for people.

Speaker 7 (37:20):
Yeah, you didn't have an issue with the crowd, like
being in that Big Beyonce.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Loved being in the Big Beyonce crowd.

Speaker 7 (37:26):
It's like, I like, I like punk music, and I've
been in many mosh pits in my life, and I
have no problem being in a crowd like that. But
when I went to stage Coach, I went to see
post Malone and I get in the crowd, I'm like, oh,
this'll be This'll be fine. I got so like because
everyone starts pushing in on each other. I started getting
like cluster phob.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
Except I would never go like in in Like. I
was not like in by any barricade, by any means.
I was still like very far removed from the stage.
I have like a lot of room to like move around.
I was not sardined and that would stress me out.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
It's it's crazy how dentse that that crowd can get
in certain people.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
What do you now that you've had some fomo, would
you go back to Coachell?

Speaker 4 (38:09):
Who would have to who would be performing?

Speaker 3 (38:12):
It's funny you asked that because I was thinking this
because the tickets go and sale like next week and
for next year, and I.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
Was like, how do they top this year?

Speaker 3 (38:19):
Like they really nailed it this year?

Speaker 5 (38:22):
I feel, how do you top this? Rihanna? That would
top it?

Speaker 7 (38:28):
Rihanna would be iconic, like no disrespect, but like you
can't book Olivia Dean for next year because he may
not be the big you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (38:36):
Like I talk to Olivia Dean didn't perform this not
a headliner, but have.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Like the big stage stint.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
One of the main like on the main stage is
not the headliner. I was just surprised a.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Little search for me, like Noah, I think Dean was
there last year?

Speaker 6 (38:53):
Was that right?

Speaker 3 (38:54):
I think.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
This search Taylor Swift. I don't know if Taylor Sis
will do it's only she hasn't done why would she
do a festival?

Speaker 3 (39:04):
Like do you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (39:06):
Unless it was. She headlined all three.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
Nights, Olivia four.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Yeah she's been okay, okay, Olivia Rodrigo. I could see
her headlining next year.

Speaker 6 (39:17):
Yeah, that's one. Yes, it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
I love it. You don't love it.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
I know I do, But I still feel like I
feel like having the Sabrina, the Carol g and then
the Bieber in the middle, like somebody that's been gone
for a long time, and then you know what I mean, Like, yeah.

Speaker 8 (39:36):
I was saying, what if they did Olivia Rodrigo, Rihanna, Rihanna,
it needs to be real.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
They need to get Rihanna.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
That's the only one that would bring you back.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
I think so. Well, No, I mean I'm probably like
that's be real. If I'm if I'm out of my
tender Tanya phase, I'm going.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
Back no matter who it is.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Yeah, I loved Coachella.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Oh yeah, okay, Well I just can't go tenderly because
is that that's just not a thing.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
No, no, no, you can't be tender.

Speaker 5 (40:06):
Breathing and all that smoke.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
I feel like I'm coughing up dust.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
That's where I met dust. I can't be breathing and
all that doest air purifiers in every room in my
house right now.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
I need those, honestly, Yeah, I have two, but I
need the whole house going. Yeah, there's that bare minimum
checklist that this woman came out with for men that
she dates, and it's gone viral. So I'd like to
touch on that when we come back.

Speaker 6 (40:52):
We're back.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
So this woman made a bare minimum requirement for any
man that she dates, and I'm gonna read some of
them and we're gonna see where we where we stand
on this.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Do you feel this way when people talk about dating
in general, dating but specifically men, and they'll say something
that's just the basic bare minimum he's nice to waiters
or something, and you're like, dang, like the bar is
on the floor for people out there. Do you ever

(41:28):
feel out with people that are single?

Speaker 3 (41:30):
No? Because I feel like I was there, like does
he have a pulse? Does he want to go out
with meats?

Speaker 1 (41:39):
Okay, please remind me about the hay girl text that
we have to get to by the end of this episode.
Someone marked that.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Okay, So here's this.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Here's this woman's list loves me More, which a lot
of people say they they only if they're dating someone.
It's specifically men and women that the man should love
the woman more.

Speaker 6 (42:03):
Yeah, I've heard this as well. Patty brought this back
in the day in the Morning Show. A relationship is
more successful if the man loves the woman a little bit.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
More studies on this.

Speaker 3 (42:13):
Yeah, I think it's true.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
You feel like Robbie loves me more. I think we
go in like waves.

Speaker 5 (42:20):
I think we go in waves.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
I think there's periods where he loves me more, and
I think there's peros where I love him more.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
What about you?

Speaker 5 (42:24):
I think he's that way mine?

Speaker 10 (42:27):
Okay, Okay, yeah, yeah, I mean I think we love
each other equally, but I think I'm maybe more obsessed
with Alison than she is with me, which is the
right way it should be.

Speaker 6 (42:37):
Yeah, just what Easton said, same thing.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Okay, two hundred k or more salary is her bare minimum?
This one, to me, the money thing is is interesting
because I think it's totally fair and fine to have
an expectation or like being realistic about what you expect
in a financial sense. I think these are like conversations

(43:00):
that are very uncomfortable but need to be had just
so someone's not disappointed.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
Down the road.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
You know.

Speaker 4 (43:07):
I guess this depends where you live.

Speaker 6 (43:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
I think it's all relative to where you live.

Speaker 6 (43:13):
I think that that's it's silly to do that though,
isn't it. Like I think one of the cool things
that couples always have and old people always say this
is when we were first together, we didn't have the
proverbial pot to piss in. And that's what that was
me and my wife. We had nothing. I was making
no money, and that's how we started. And I think
that's a beautiful thing. You can grow together.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
Yeah, being able to grow together, I personally don't think
it's a deal breaker. I just think if the person
has motivation and theyre want to grow together, I think
that's more of what you should be looking for as
opposed to a number of salary.

Speaker 9 (43:43):
You know.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
Yeah, but I mean, if that's what she wants, that's
what she wants.

Speaker 1 (43:46):
This is just a list.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
I feel like for me, I never really had like
a like a number of something I wanted somebody to make.
But I definitely wanted somebody that had a career. Like
I didn't want someone that just either like worked for
their family and like inherited a bunch or do you
know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Okay, generous, Yeah, just period generous. I think that's a
I think that's important for me personally, whether it's generous
with gift giving, money, time, energy, kindness, whatever, just a
generous person likes the finer things. I think this girl cares.
She has a certain lifestyle she wants to live, which

(44:25):
I respect her putting it out there. She knows what
she wants. Emotionally intelligent, this is a big one, okay,
but I think a lot of people skip over. Okay,
personally chivalrous, yeah, fun, But.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
You know what's interesting about chivalry these days?

Speaker 4 (44:41):
Tell me.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
It's a fine line of what because like chivalry is nice.
I like chivalry. But like if I was dating someone
and I got up to the bathroom and they stood
up with me, I'd be like, sit down, do you
know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (44:58):
I don't think that's what she's looking before, but do
you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Like you'd be weirded out too, Like I'd be like,
sit dressed down, I'm just going to the bathroom.

Speaker 5 (45:05):
But then they're like trying to be chivalrous.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
I've never seen someone do that.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
I'm not having old school I went on a date
with a guy like that, and it was like nice,
Like at first he like opened my car door and
like opened the doors, which again chivalry nice. And then
the guy stood up when I went to the bathroom
and I was like goodbye. So it's a fine line
and I was a feel breaker. I feel bad for
that guy because I sent him packing, but it was
like really weirded me out.

Speaker 5 (45:28):
And then yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
Randomly, just recently, Haley went to get in the car
door and I went and opened it before her, and
I was like, this is so this is dumb, Like
I don't.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
Weird and Robbie does it for me like when we
have date nights and opened my door and I'm like,
I was.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
Like, that was so much work for what Like I
can open the car, I can open the door for you,
but I don't need no one needs it for me,
And I don't think that she needs me to do
it for herr.

Speaker 7 (45:54):
Yeah, I do it every time, every single time.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
Of it's a lot of work.

Speaker 6 (46:01):
I love it.

Speaker 7 (46:02):
I love the opportunity to do.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
And that's what matters Easton. I'm sure Alison loves it too.
My friends and family love him. That's an ideal situation.
But okay, sometimes you can't choose who.

Speaker 4 (46:16):
Likes the person that you love.

Speaker 7 (46:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
Timely, which I'm guessing is on time. Prompt, Yeah, prompt,
which I would not be a good fit for this person. Yeah, confident,
sexually disciplined. What do you think?

Speaker 4 (46:30):
Oh do you think that means like not watching peorn
and stuff?

Speaker 1 (46:33):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (46:33):
Yeah, interesting, I've never heard that term.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
Not a mama's boy, A big one, big one tries hard.

Speaker 3 (46:46):
She wants someone that tries hard. I feel like that's like, ick.

Speaker 4 (46:49):
What this is the last Wait?

Speaker 7 (46:51):
What tries hard?

Speaker 6 (46:53):
Is you want effort? Don't you want efforts?

Speaker 1 (46:56):
Effort?

Speaker 3 (46:57):
Try hard, try hard, but try hard. I'll try hard,
but try where you put the emphasis right right?

Speaker 4 (47:03):
Yeah, just puts an effort. Yes, this is the last one.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Wants to protect me even if we're divorced, like a
real class, honorable person.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Okay, okay, it feels like you're setting yourself up for
failure with that one.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Some of the commentary, not even Superman meets these criteria.

Speaker 4 (47:20):
Dude, she's already planning for the divorce.

Speaker 3 (47:22):
Yeah, yikes, this girl's not giving lifetime love.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
Someone said, according to the female Delusion, calculator. The probability
of man meets her criteria in the USA is thirty
two point three two percent.

Speaker 4 (47:36):
Worldwide, it's much much lower.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
Good luck.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Do you want to think so embarrassing that I did
on Friday night?

Speaker 4 (47:42):
Is it the hay Girl text?

Speaker 1 (47:43):
No?

Speaker 3 (47:43):
Oh, So I'm on a triple date.

Speaker 5 (47:46):
So it's three couples.

Speaker 1 (47:47):
Okay, thank you for explaining.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
One, two, three, four, five, six of us. And this
guy walks over to our table and he walks over
to one of Robbie's friends and like he's on the
end of the table. So he walks over to Robbie's
friend and the like conversing. Okay, so they're like at
the end of the table conversing. I do this because
I think, I know, I think this is like a
guy that I know very well. I put my head
out like this and I'm.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
Like, excuse me, excuse.

Speaker 5 (48:13):
Me, and then he like looks at me and he's
like hey. I'm like hey, and then I'm like you're
not who I thought you were.

Speaker 3 (48:20):
And it was so awkward, Like I literally was like
because he was like playing into it too, and I was.

Speaker 5 (48:25):
Like, I've never met you.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
I thought you were my friend.

Speaker 5 (48:28):
And then I was so awkward.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
So this is just a PSA to anybody. If you
think you spot somebody.

Speaker 1 (48:35):
Really take a good look, really take it.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
It was so embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
It just reminded me of your last week's conversation or
not being able to converse with the guy in the
kitchen while you're micro social.

Speaker 3 (48:48):
Skills, like completely, and I didn't know how to come
back from it. And now it's going to be like
our joke every time I see this guy and they're like, hey,
on time, not sing excuse me? And I told Robbie
who I thought it was and he was like, oh yeah,
like I kind of see the resemblance.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Like was Robbie confused why you were doing that?

Speaker 9 (49:03):
Like?

Speaker 1 (49:03):
Why is she doing? Was like, who is this guy?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
How do you know? He was like, what's it really
like that.

Speaker 6 (49:16):
In the restaurant you're drunk? No, not, that's how you
act when you're sober in the restaurant.

Speaker 5 (49:22):
Yes, not loud. Yes it was a loud restaurant.

Speaker 1 (49:25):
It wasn't appropriate. Okay, it wasn't like out of.

Speaker 3 (49:31):
Left field, right. It was so embarrassing. I was like,
oh my gosh. And then I felt like I had
to justify that my friend is like really hot, you
know what I mean. Like I was like, oh my gosh,
my friend is like so good looking. I'm like trying
to find a photo of him online and.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Like did you have to do that?

Speaker 6 (49:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
So I'm like, I find all I have is his
Instagram photo. He's wearing like a hat that's like the
hats like that down like this, like covering half of
his face. And that's only because he's private, that's and
that's the only photo he has on his page.

Speaker 5 (49:58):
So I'm like showing that photo to everybody. I'm like,
doesn't he kind of look like this guy?

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Like I felt like I had to justify the I'm stressed,
it was so bad?

Speaker 6 (50:06):
Why would you keep digging the whole deeper in? Because
I made.

Speaker 5 (50:08):
Such a like stink of it.

Speaker 4 (50:11):
Excuse me? She had to.

Speaker 3 (50:12):
Follow, and then I had to tell her the story
of like how I know the guy that I thought
it was and I had a big crush on him
and in college and like I was like, there for.

Speaker 6 (50:23):
All this stuff was the guy standing there?

Speaker 9 (50:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (50:26):
You know, you know what.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
I'm really trying to work on because I too try
to fill silence or awkwardness by talking more, And I
always find myself going, why did I overdo it so much?
Why didn't I just let the silence or the awkwardness
sit and pass instead of trying to fill it? Because
sometimes I leave, I leave the conversation and I'm I've

(50:48):
just shared something so personal with someone that I just
met as a way of trying to make them feel comfortable.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
Yeah, I understand, and.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
They don't give anything back to me.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
And then I'm what you're going, why did I share
about that? What was that the thing that I filled
it with?

Speaker 3 (51:05):
So I see you, thanks, But it was so bad.

Speaker 4 (51:09):
Physically hot thinking about the panda.

Speaker 3 (51:11):
I'm embarrassed by it.

Speaker 6 (51:12):
To be honest, we're almost out of time. I gotta
do it now because otherwise I have to add another
commercial break.

Speaker 3 (51:18):
So Mark is always trying to make these shorter, nor Mark, Mark, Mark.

Speaker 6 (51:24):
You can go as long as you want, but I
have to add a third commercial break.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
That's all nobody wants that.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
Mom, I go, okay, So Tanya text me and she goes,
you know, Tanya always gets me with a great clickbait.
Sometimes it's good. Sometimes like today, she goes, what did
you say to me? You want to know something. Yeah,
you want to know something? And I go, I'd love to.

Speaker 6 (51:51):
Can we guess what it's gonna because it's gonna be
like non, I you're my best friend.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
Yes, I guess what it is.

Speaker 6 (51:57):
You mean a lot to me. I was thinking about
you no warm or not?

Speaker 1 (52:03):
No?

Speaker 4 (52:03):
Can I tell you something? That's what she says, can't
take you?

Speaker 1 (52:07):
I go, of course, She goes, we don't have radio today,
so podcast is my first thing, loving it and I go,
oh wow, the dream and I go, thank you so
much for sharing that with me. Ob sarcastic, I asked her,
is that sarcastic?

Speaker 3 (52:28):
I thought she would enjoy because I was like relating
with her, Like I was like, oh, I'm like living
my life as Beckatilly today, like going in for the podcast.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
I like, if you had said, I total, this is amazing.
I can't believe you get to do this every Monday.

Speaker 5 (52:40):
That's kind of where I.

Speaker 3 (52:41):
Was going with it.

Speaker 5 (52:42):
But that's not when I got back and I was.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
Like, why really what I got? Okay?

Speaker 3 (52:48):
Swinging a miss?

Speaker 1 (52:49):
So anyways, the next the thing that she texted me,
she goes, you want to see something sad, which that
can be multiple things, and I.

Speaker 5 (52:57):
Said, sad funny, not sad sad.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
Yeah, she goes sad funny, sad funny.

Speaker 1 (53:00):
So she sends me her text a screenshot of her
text thread with Camilla Luddington.

Speaker 9 (53:07):
Which how she has her number. I don't even know
how that happened. First of all, the two texts above
the one she sent me are green, and I'm like,
this is not good.

Speaker 1 (53:21):
And she goes, she started, it's so sad.

Speaker 4 (53:24):
She starts to text high girl.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
Tanya has never you are.

Speaker 4 (53:28):
So not a high girl person.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
To meet girl?

Speaker 1 (53:32):
Hey girl, you've never said that to me?

Speaker 5 (53:34):
Well, you're not my girl?

Speaker 4 (53:37):
How she shocked herself by her own words.

Speaker 5 (53:40):
You're not my girl.

Speaker 4 (53:42):
It's just giving, not genuine.

Speaker 5 (53:44):
What do I say, Hey babe, hey lady.

Speaker 6 (53:49):
You don't know her that? Well, Hi, Camilla, it's Tanya.
How about that?

Speaker 1 (53:54):
She knows it and they apparently had a long conversation
before this. So anyways, Tanya goes high Girl hoeball as well,
wanted to check in on how things were going.

Speaker 4 (54:06):
Would love to pick your brain.

Speaker 6 (54:08):
Oh gosh, she does.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Has she responded yet?

Speaker 5 (54:16):
No?

Speaker 3 (54:18):
When was this last week? Sometime?

Speaker 6 (54:21):
And it was green?

Speaker 1 (54:23):
No? No, no, this one, but the first the ones
above that were green, and I was like, I think
it's a high girl, dude.

Speaker 3 (54:32):
You said a lot, Yeah, hi girl, what do you
want to pick her brain about? Just some business for
me to know, for you to find out later.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
Your highlighter looks really nice.

Speaker 3 (54:44):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (54:44):
Yeah, it just really the sun really hit it.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
But the whole thing about it was that I've never
seen or heard use a high girl.

Speaker 3 (54:55):
So I don't use high girl with you because I
don't need to.

Speaker 5 (55:00):
I use high girl with people that like.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Like Kolena and Jess Helena, please put some respect on
the man. But yes, like a Helena or a Jeess,
like somebody that like I know, like we're like yeah, like,
but not like a close friend, you know girl on DMS. Yet.

Speaker 1 (55:23):
I do think if you go to the UK, they'll
begining to high girl.

Speaker 5 (55:26):
Do I go, yes, they will. The next interactional be
hey girl, hey.

Speaker 7 (55:32):
Girl, sell a few of you in front of big Bang.

Speaker 6 (55:34):
Guess he's in town.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
I do hate when I send a text to someone
that's kind of an acquaintance and they're just ghosts me.
It's so and I get it because it's she has kids.

Speaker 4 (55:43):
And a whole career and a lot.

Speaker 2 (55:45):
You know what, I.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
Don't expect it, but its double text, mind quadruple text.
If you hit her again, I have no shame.

Speaker 5 (55:55):
I literally do not care.

Speaker 4 (55:57):
Well if it goes through green again, we know what
happens dot.

Speaker 5 (56:01):
Dot dot or like a microphone.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
I can only do that to like my friends following
up here, just.

Speaker 3 (56:07):
Kindly following up. No, you're not kindly following up. You're
aggressively following up.

Speaker 4 (56:13):
Oh man, I just love you.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
You're such a gym.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (56:18):
All right, Well, we are saying goodbye on this podcast,
but we will be back on Thursday with an advice
column called Dear Bonya, so stay tuned for that.

Speaker 4 (56:30):
We love you so much.

Speaker 5 (56:31):
I love you

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
