Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's another episode of the Almost Famous podcast. We're here
this week to break down the Golden Bachelor. Yes, we're
one week ahead from going to hometowns and yes again
today we have an amazing grandma coming on to help
us break down this episode.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
It's been fun, it's been exciting. And Ashley, how are
you doing.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
I'm good.

Speaker 5 (00:25):
Ben.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
You're in Hawaii.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
I am in Hawaii. I am in Hawaii right now.
We're here for a few more days. In fact, today
our big adventure is we're going on.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
A all day boat ride storkled tour and I hope
to see.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
A big turtle.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Okay, cool? Is this vacation.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Kind of sort of it?

Speaker 6 (00:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
It you know my you know about my golf tournament
that I talk about now for the next eight weeks
of my life, Orlando, Florida. Yeah, it's with Hilton, and
so that's a Hilton Grand Vacations tournament champion. So they
asked us to come down to Hilton Grand Vacations in
Hawaii to kind of see the property, and we obviously

(01:15):
gladly obliged, and so the four of us came down
to do this.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
It worked out perfect.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I couldn't go to Bean's bachelor party, actually, and so
Dean and Kaalen came down because this is like his
bachelor party point two, except I've been in bed by
nine o'clock every night and I've been waking up at
five point thirty due to the time change.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
So we've just been.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Chilling nice, very lovely. Do you see that it's a
place that possibly Gary could have his.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Fantasy sweet week? Is he gonna have a fantasy Sweet week?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
He is going to have a fantasy season?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Is it really though?

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Because Hometowns is just the top three, not top four,
and then we're gonna have narrowed down to two ladies,
and then you think they're gonna have overnights.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Yeah, I have Q.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
I have some secret information, not a spoiler, not a spoiler,
because I do not know how this plays out, but
I do know they had fantasy suites.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
And the reason is is there might have been a
little birdie that might.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Have asked if I'd be interested in coming down, not
to be a part of fantasy.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
But to him in that.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, I don't know how to say that.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Him through that week.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, but even that sounds weird too to sit beside
him and hold his hand as he walks. Anyways, he
is going to have fantasy suites.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Okay, but I'm assuming it'll just be with the top two.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, it's with two people.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
My takeaway from this episode, I just like can't believe
he picked us over Ellen.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Like, Teresa is just too much for me.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
She's just like, I know, she's being open and really
expressing how into it she is, but she's just a
little bit desperate to me.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
That's interesting. So as you think about this, would you
have fallen more on the side of Kathy than Teresa.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
Well, yeah, so I wasn't here when you recapped last week. Yeah,
and I don't know neither of them. I could like
take totally seriously because they're just like kind of hilarious characters.
So I understand that he wasn't into Kathy as much
as he is to Teresa, which is why he had
to let her go.

Speaker 7 (03:44):
But I'm like, I don't know Ellen, and between Ellen
and Theresa seems pretty close, and I just I just
would have preferred to hang out with Ellen.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I guess, well, And I think it's there's so much
to what you're saying that's intriguing to me. One is
that you're invested, Like you are invested into each one
of these women, and you're invested in the Gary, but
like you can pull back each woman's name and their
character and how much that you felt for them or
maybe not for them through this season, which again to me,

(04:15):
is a mark of a really good season of The Bachelor,
Like we are watching something that we both enjoyed, that
we're invested into that you're saying, I can't believe he
chose so and so over so and so. Yeah, and
not every season the Bachelor we feel that way, Like
usually we're kind of maybe not Usually there's been seasons
where we've been fairly apathetic to the choices being made,

(04:37):
and this season, I think we're both deeply invested in
who he's choosing and why he's choosing them. I also
think Ashley, with what you're saying, we're seeing something interesting
where for me, he is into a certain type.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Yeah, I know all the top three like have well
they're burnettes.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Well, but I would say the Leslie and Tie says
are more similar than.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
The Leslie's and Ellen's.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Ellen feels like to me, she's not gonna she's not
gonna have a hard time finding love like she feels
like to me, somebody who wants to settle down, who's
going to be an incredible partner to somebody who wants
to be the support system. And these other women I
feel the same way about it. I'm not like, I
don't have any red flags about any of them, but
I do feel like there may be a little more

(05:25):
like Sponge. Yes, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
Well we got Diana, our Grandma of the Week.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
In this in the studio, the Zoom studio right now,
so we want to bring her in and write into
this conversation. Diana, what is your take on Gary's top three?
Because we have Teresa, Leslie and Faith Now, I think
my personal opinion is that Teresa was the teeter tatter
and that he's really into Fad and Leslie what's your name?

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Well, my belief all the women are terrific. I really
like the women. They're great. But there's only two. Truthfully,
there's only two. There's Faith and sorry I'm so good.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Leslie.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
Yes, you know, and it's so true. They're dark hair.
They're dark hair, and believe me, I used to be
dark hair. And when you're older. When you're older as
an older woman, you know, being in my sixties, my
late sixties, you know, it's hard out there. So all

(06:33):
these women, they're so hungry, and I understand what they need.
And he's hungry too. But there's only two in the running.
The other girls are nice, but it's not happening.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
So, Diana, thank you for joining almost in this podcast.
By the way, it means so much.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Thank you so much for inviting me.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, you're going to hang out with us. A little
bit about you. How did we find you? How did
you get connected almost in this podcast?

Speaker 6 (07:00):
Yes, okay, well, Heather, which is you know, I'm an actress.
I'm an actress. I'm a jack of all trades and
pretty much a master of none. But I enjoy what
I do pretty much. So I'm original soul trained dancer
number one of the seventies right on magazine I have.

(07:21):
If you look up my name, Diana Brunner Puscis, it's
I'm a you know, it's pretty much. I was the
original soul trained dancer. And then from there, you know,
traveling modeling career in New York and then moving back,
getting married to a very distinguished guy who owned a
huge company in Orange County. And then I started acting again,

(07:43):
you know, and I my old girlfriend Queen Turner started
from the Icatina Turner family. She started Diva Glamas. So
that ended up you know, wrong studio, you know, but
that's Hollywood, and uh, it ended up being a year.
And beside that, I have a new movie which I'm
in and it's called Redemption, and holiday's Redemption and it's

(08:13):
with German on foot and his name is Kiss thirteen.
It's going to be big. And he's also doing the
Cat Califwaey movie. I'm not in that one, but I
am going to do a cameo for that one once
it gets totally funded. So yeah, there's tons of exciting things.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
So we don't have a grandma today.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
We have a grandma, yeah grandma and a glandma.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Yeah yeah, definitely a gladma because I have I have
a lot of grandkids and they're my step grandkids because
I you know, I was one of these women that
had the career first and then didn't have kids. But
it's okay. I have my husband, you know, my ex

(08:58):
husband's kids.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
So yeah, love is love is love.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
And right now today we're going to break down this
episode leading up into Hometowns. You are watching, Diana, You're
could have been competition as we are witnessing and being
able to criticize and celebrate these amazing people who are one.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
The Golden Bachelor. Let's kick it off from the beginning, Diana.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
You know, this episode really started out with I think
for me an intrigue about faith, faith as a human,
not faith maybe as a subject. So faith as a
human I was curious about. We got to see her
kind of skyrocket to the top at the beginning of
this season. She was obviously one that everybody had their
eyes on. There's a target on her back. And then

(09:46):
in my opinion and I want to hear yours and Ashley's,
she took a big back seat for the rest of
the season. She hasn't really had a big role and
I didn't know where her relationship with Gary existed until
this episod. So how do you feel about Faith and
what do you think about their connection during their date?

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Well, the very first date, there was definitely a connection
and he showed that. But then I just felt the
other ladies were very, very aggressive. They were extremely aggressive,
and you know Jewish girls, you know. My grandmother's Jewish,
so I know Jewish girls can be when they want
something go, they go after it. Let me tell you, so,

(10:29):
I think she kind of got she's a little insecure.
She's a little insecure, and she had to build up that.
Like I think if she would have been out there
a little bit more in his face, he would have
probably asked her out a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
You said something when we started out here. You said
that these girls are hungry. Okay, so you said that
these girls are hungry. I would love for you to
explain what you mean by hungry and if that is
a positive attribute or if it's something that maybe you're
cautious of now being hungry.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
It's basically, when you get older, you become invisible. You
don't you know, you don't get all the like the
looks like when you used to be like in your
forties or your fifties. But when you reach that threshold,
you know, thank god, you know, I take care of
my skin, so I could be in my forties. Nobody

(11:35):
would really know, but I know, I know, and it's
something inside because you've been around the corner so many
times and you just don't get that many dates when
you get older, you really do become invisible.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Sure, sure, So the hungriness is to have.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
Well they feel, you know, they haven't done it for
so long, so it's wonderful to have a man in
their presence, and they want this, They really want this,
so they're hungry. So I believe it's truly positive. I
try to keep my frequency extremely high, so I try
to just I give them all of them love. But

(12:18):
I just feel there's only two in the money.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
That's fair. That's fair. One of the things that I'm
intrigued by.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
We really haven't had anybody come and help us break
down an episode yet that has kind of had your perspective.
I feel like you have a perspective on desiring today.
You had just said, we've had most of the people
come on and they have said, hey, as you can,
only you feel more invisible. And I think that's a
very interesting piece of the Golden Bachelor to me, is

(12:45):
that I'm now believing and assuming that a lot of
people here have felt invisible and may be disconnected from
what they were used to when it comes to attention
and dating. So, now that we're getting down to this
final few women in, is it in their minds. Do
you think it's an excitement towards what could be in marriage,

(13:06):
in a partnership with Gary or is it still the
excitement of I'm just really happy that I'm still being
seen and being like affectionate towards somebody because it's been
so long.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
No, I really believe these women they want marriage, because
marriage after you know, I got divorced at fifty one,
so it was very, very hard. You feel kind of abandoned,
and you know, you're so used to your best friend
and then he's gone, so and you know, older men
look at younger women, so you know, now the you know,

(13:41):
now it's like being alone starting over. So I really
believe these women are they're hungry because they they want
that companion. They want to be married, They want to
be you know, having dinners with their grandkids, kids and
family is everything. Family and you know I and I

(14:04):
really believe young people have have kind of lost that
because I have so many of my friends that don't
have kids. I went through in vitro. The whole thing
wasn't me, it was him, but you know, I tried everything,
but it's really, you know, it's beautiful having a family.
So these these women, they have families, so they just
want to get whole again. They want to find their

(14:26):
their their second part, you know, to make them whole.
So and I really believe that Gary, he's he's a
great guy, but I believe that he knows what he wants.
Just like he told the older lady, well, she's not
really older than him.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
It was.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Age ellen.

Speaker 6 (14:51):
Yeah, and he thought that she was not sexually up
to par to keep up with you.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Well, how do you know this? Tell us your insight?

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Well, he had mentioned something like that on the show
that or during because it was my sister and I.
We were sitting in the living room and she was
saying to me, she says, I can't believe that he
had thought, you know that he doesn't think that she
could match his sexual appetite. I'll put it that way.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
You sure you don't think that you're reading into something.

Speaker 7 (15:28):
Because I didn't pick up on this really.

Speaker 6 (15:31):
Yeah, No, I thought I felt that he probably thought
she was too old for him. You know the other
two girls, they look a lot younger, They look a
lot younger. Not putting anything down for her, she's beautiful,
she's beautiful, but I kind of felt what he was feeling.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
You know, it could have been one of those situations
too that you're able to understand the language they're using
him on each other a ton better than I am.
Just like maybe if if you watched The Bachelor right now,
like there's gonna be that you maybe don't understand because

(16:10):
it's not it's on your generation, and so you could
be you know, seeing things and hearing things, and the
perspective that you're watching the show is different than the
perspective I'm watching the show, and then Ashley's watching the show,
and then somebody in their twenties is watching the show,
and and so if he maybe isn't as let's say,

(16:31):
physically attracted to Ellen as he is to the other woman,
I do think we've all now agreed that Gary definitely
has a type at this time in his life. They
are brunettes, and they are you know, maybe a little spunkier,
I would say, like they they are like a little
more like extravagantly.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Certain kind of energy.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, like an energy that brings out a child like
feeling in him.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
And and one of.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
The reasons I say that is because his group day,
which we need to jump to now, he wants to
bring out that childlike spirit and like he's ready, he's
having a carnival, saying a lotica peers. So he desires
that childlike energy still at this point in his life.
And that's where I come to you, Diana. So you know,
we've had some incredible people come out and help us

(17:22):
break down episodes. In each one of them, I think
have had a spirit amongst our conversations where they're saying,
you know, age, yes, is just a number, but age
also is something that doesn't restrict him from still wanting
to have a great time and have tons of energy
and do all they can in the course of the.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Day, and so they can't do anything anymore. That's kind
of how I feel about my life now.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
So you know, with your friends and your group of
people around you, do you feel like most of the
people your age at this point still desire that child
like spirit and to still play and to still have fun.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Because I don't think that has.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Been a common feeling for a lot of generations of
the past were in their sixties and seventies, they're still
desiring to play.

Speaker 6 (18:08):
Right right, And plus you know, something society has changed,
you know, I do you know I run on the
beach every single day, and I do see older women.
They're out there doing the yoga. They're trying to help
themselves mentally, physically. So it is out there now that
women have a lot more energy. For me, I don't like,

(18:30):
you know, I go on a dating site and all
these guys they look so big, got the beer belly.
I'm living in Florida now, I'm like, oh my god.
I'm like, I'm a California girl. I'm not used to.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
That, you know.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
But yeah, I think today a man wants somebody that
is spontaneous, someone to get in the jakuzi with, or say,
come on, let's zip off to a wonderful island of
scandals and have dinner and candlelight. Yeah. I think all
men want that. It's just the women, you know, they

(19:03):
get settled, they get mentally you know, oh I'm too
old for this. Hey, you got to get out of that,
you know.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
So this week was the second week in a row
that we've seen some jealousy, totally understandable jealousy. Last week
we saw it with Kathy, and this week we're seeing
it with Leslie, who's just you know, she's like, I
don't want to hear about your date. I don't need
this a rollover. How would you feel if somebody came
in from a date with Gary or whoever your bachelor

(19:31):
was and started recapping the date.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
Well, personally, I'm just not a tell all type of
girl when it's you know, it's between me and Gary,
and I want to give those girls something to really
think about, because I don't want to give them everything
what happened on my date with him, so she can
actually top it or try to do something more, much

(19:55):
more exciting, you know. So now, I'm not a you know,
tell a type of girl, and I believe that they
shouldn't be They really shouldn't. They should just zip it,
enjoy each other in the house, talk about their families,
but don't get into a competition, because I believe that
brings your frequency down, and the ones that have the

(20:18):
highest frequency, they're going to get all the good energy
coming to him. You know.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Well, I don't think you're wrong, and I do think
the frequency of the energy around Gary right now has
definitely attracted him to a certain group of women that
we obviously see make it at the end. The one
that maybe was a little more surprising to me that
didn't make it to the end. I don't know if
the chemistry was there, but somebody that definitely had the

(20:46):
energy was Susan.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Yes, Susan definitely lit up the room.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
You could tell that she kind of carried the way
of connecting the group of people. She's Italian and she
loves to bring people together over food and over after
and over a good time. We saw her on this
group date with Gary. You know, Ellen though, really kind
of steals the show for me. This group date's beautiful.
They go to Santamonic Computer. They have a great time, right,

(21:14):
There's a lot of laughter, a lot of fun. I
do think the date accomplished what Gary was hoping for.
But Ellen's feelings for Gary continue to be expressed. And
I do believe her when she looks at him in
the eyes and sells him like I you know, I'm
falling in love with you.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
I am in love with you, and I see a
future with you.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
I believe that Gary was infatuated with this last week.
You could start to see this week obviously where he
starts to pull.

Speaker 6 (21:40):
Back right, Well, don't that a little bit when they
get a little scared, you know?

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Yeah, So what do you think happened. I mean, what
do you think happened from your perspective for Gary this week?
Where last week he was saying, I haven't felt this
way or haven't said these words, you know, since his
late wife, and now this week, you know, she's saying
I need some validation. He's saying, I can't give it
to you yet. And I think I obviously pointed to
the fact that you know, she wasn't going to be

(22:10):
there for hometowns.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
What do you think happened?

Speaker 6 (22:14):
I just felt that he wasn't into it. I don't
think so, you know, and just like I really like
Sondra too, you know, yeah too, but yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
You knew that wasn't going to happen with the two
of them.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (22:28):
So I just felt that he he knew exactly the
three that he kind of felt the close to it.
And I felt probably Theresa wouldn't be in if the
girl didn't the lady didn't go home, she had any emergency,
the pretty blondie, yes, because he was he was torn. Joan, Joan,

(22:53):
Joan exactly, Joan.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Yeah, she was really pretty.

Speaker 6 (22:57):
Joan would be in the running for sure.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
Yeah, Okay, So I was a huge moment for me
was when Leslie was expressing her insecurities to him and
then he he held her and goes, you're my girl,
And I was like, whoa, yeah.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
You know, I really believe you know, man, I think
they talk out of the side of their necks sometime
and not their heart. Because I felt that he needed
to give her something right there, because he knew the cameras,
you know, we're going and everything. I think he probably misled.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Her, okay, used being over dramatic in the moment. I
was like, by saying that to her, she thinks that
she's the one. Yes, as a female interpreting this.

Speaker 6 (23:50):
Exactly, I feel the same. So you know, I felt
that maybe you know, because you know when the cameras
are on and you know he he's trying to find
his mate. But I think he got a little you know, confused,
I mean, been.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
Ahead of himself, like just just ahead of himself. I
wouldn't say that like he doesn't mean it. I still
think that she's his top two, but I don't think
he's one hundred percent sold that she's the one. But
by saying you're my girl, it's heavy.

Speaker 6 (24:20):
Right, and he wanted to give her that sigh of
relief pretty much.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Yeah, you know, I I agree with both of you.
I do think that there's this element where right now,
you know, Gary's had a lot of fun and it's
been a great experience for him, and he's enjoying it,
and it's been fairly lighthearted most of the time, and
we've seen moments.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Of emotion out of him.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
I think as any person, I think this is man
or woman who sits in the place of the lead
on this show. I do always find it interesting as
we get towards the end, you don't know how to
handle it, like there's no preparation for this where you
have feelings and you care and you you enjoy the company.
Maybe these are more friends at this point than a

(25:06):
romantic partner, but you enjoyed being around them, and you
feel this sense of well protection, You feel this sense
of desire to help them feel better and good about
themselves and good about the experience, and honestly fairly good
about you as a lead, and that they're happy that
you were the guy that you know was the one.

(25:26):
And so I think he's saying things at this point
because he doesn't see to repercussions that could exist in
two more weeks, just to help calm the nerves of
the situation. Similar to what I would say to a
girl friend of mine where maybe they're going through a
hard breakup and I would just say like these things,
kind of just speaking, maybe without knowing how it's making

(25:48):
her feel inside, Like you know, maybe you say this
stuff in college. College is a great example where you're
you know, you're holding somebody or caring for somebody who's
just gone through a breakup, and you're saying things like
you're so pretty, you're so beautiful, you are an incredible
human and yes, you're just comforting them. And I don't
think he realizes what the comforting may feel like in here,

(26:10):
Like it sound like to the girls that he's.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
Dating, Well, you know, I felt that he's gonna bring
it down a notch. You know, he could probably make
her feel comfortable, and you know, when he gave her,
he could have given her false hope. But who knows
could have We don't know the ending yet, but I
can't wait to.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Know he wants.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
You know, the cool part about Gary in this season
the Golden Bachelor is he's led his heart on the line,
and so yes, he's going to say things that are
maybe a little more dramatic and a little more emotional,
a little more comforting as maybe he should in a
moment because he's just doing his best to be fully
out there. He's not hiding and holding anything back, and

(26:54):
I don't think any of these.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
Women have held anything back.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
And I think that's why I'm loving watching this show
is because it is all and real and it's gonna
be a little messy, and there's gonna be tears. But
at the end, hopefully he's with somebody and it all
works out out. But there is gonna be heartbreak, and
there always is. There always is, and so uh, these
are one of those moments where maybe yeah, when he
said you're my girl, maybe she is.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Maybe we ke ends up with her at the end, but.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
If he does it, I do think maybe that is
going to add some pain to her life.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
Yes, which yes, I truly believe that as well. But
you know, as women entering into a dating show, someone
has to get hurt unfortunately.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
Now sure, sure, And that leads me into my next
question perfectly. We've never seen this many declarations of love
so early on, and this season is so much faster
than a typical season. So these women may be saying,
I'm valling in love with you within knowing this man
for maybe two weeks.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
Do you feel at a.

Speaker 7 (27:57):
More advanced age that you've fall in love quicker?

Speaker 6 (28:01):
No, it's television, so you have to you know. That's
why they got on the show, because they have to
make a decision. But some women they feel that because
they need that need in their life and they want
that husband, they're just pushing the accelerator button, you know.
But for me, I couldn't after two weeks. You don't

(28:25):
know who the representative is. Is it the real Gary?
Is it the representative? Even though he seems like such
a great guy, and I think he's a hot looking guy,
I would definitely date him. I would love to get
dropped up in there and say, oh, we have one
more person.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
I imagine that me in thirty years would actually take way
longer to fall in love right.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
Exactly because we learn by our mistakes, you know. I
mean I got truly heartbroken when I left California. You know,
I was in love with the guy. He was a
you know, longshore man, good looking, tall, and sure enough
he was cheating on me, you know, So it's you
just gotta, you know, slow it down. But they don't

(29:12):
have much time. So that's why I think these women
number one, they want they want to mate. Can you
blame them? They're all beautiful women and they want to mate.
And I feel so bad, but I really believe it's
between Faith and Leslie for sure.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Well that's where we're gonna We're gonna start to wrap here.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
And Dana, you've been absolutely incredible to come on and
break down.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Your energy is obviously infectious, your smile is infectious. Uh,
and you have a great interconfidence and so with that interconfidence,
I do believe you have opinions and I would love
to hear from you and Ashley kind of how you
think this is going to play out with Hometowns and
then who ends up with Gary at the end after

(30:00):
her Hometowns? Maybe just the final two for now, since
that is kind of the step ahead. Uh, how do
you think Hometowns is going to work? With Gary meeting
the families of these three women who are obviously incredible
women who he's found a connection with. But now it
gets real other people get involved, which always brings a

(30:21):
different element to the show.

Speaker 6 (30:23):
Right. Well, I believe that Faith, I'll put it this way. Faith,
she is She's deep, She's deep, and I'm sure her
family wants the best for her and they don't want

(30:44):
her to be hurt because being hurt it's hard, especially
when you get older, you know.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
And she comes from a traumatic background now and oh goodness,
she grew up without parents, I know.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
And her sister. I think it was her sister.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Yeah, we see more from her, We'll see more.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
He showed her sister just so connecting with Gary. So
I think she's going to be the one. Truthfully, I
think she's going to be the one.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
My gut as well, says Faith, And with obviously Leslie
being second.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
Teresa's Yeah, Leslie's great, you know, I like her. She's great.
But no, I just feel that they have a very
very strong connection.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
And I think that's why he just waited to have
a one on one with her until later, because it
was just obvious right.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Off the bat. But he did say last night that,
like right off the bat, it.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Was just a really strong physical connection and now he's
glad to confirm that it's both right exactly.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
So Ashley, what's your what's your opinion towards the end. Now,
who do you think he ends up with?

Speaker 3 (31:49):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (31:50):
I think he's ending up with Faith.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
Okay, I would still say Teresa. Guys, my vote is Teresa.

Speaker 6 (31:55):
Wait really really thinks so. Can you imagine she's a
little much every day?

Speaker 4 (32:02):
I was like, are you sure? She's like the most
extra human being I've ever met? I haven't met her, but.

Speaker 6 (32:09):
I still love to her. You know, it's her personality.
But I don't stand it.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
You guys might feel this way, but I think Gary
is very attracted to the extra and I think he's
very attracted to the spark that she could bring and
that he sees her bringing.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
To his life.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Because I think he I think every one of these
women have a little bit of Teresa in them, but
Teresa is the one that does it best.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
And I said, my vote is still Teresa.

Speaker 6 (32:38):
Now, well, I tell you she's a go getter and
she's she put it out there that she wants him,
so she's putting into energy out there. So but I
really believe he's either gonna be He's going to end
up with either Faith or Leslie.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Okay, well, there's votes out there, your your opinion as listeners.
Now for what matters, So make sure you message us
and tell us who you think Gary is going to
end up with. This has been an incredible season so
far of The Golden Bachelor, one that we had high
expectations for one that's fulfilling all those expectations. We have drama,
we have the jealousy, we have the love, we have

(33:16):
the connection, we have the friendship. Three more women were
sent home this week. We have three women left.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
It was.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
It's getting more emotional, I would say, as every episode
continues for Gary, and we see that in the previews
for the next episode. Make sure you tune into the
Almost Famous Podcast next week as we break down another
episode of the Golden Bachelor.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
