arrested in Tijuana last week. Hernandez escaped from custody in
Kerrn County last December before a scheduled court appear in Sindolno.
He was serving eighty years to life in prison for
a twenty nineteen murder in southeast Los Angeles. Authorities say
Hernandez got into a shootout with Mexican police officers who
were attempting to arrest him on April ninth. The commander

shot and killed during the gun battle. Hernandez escaped after
the shooting, but the Los Angeles Times reports he was
arrested last Thursday.

Also in southern California, the loss Perdrino's juvenile Hall in
Downey is one step closer to being permanently shut down.

Los Padrinos was ordered closed in December by the California

Now a judge has issued a ruling saying the La
County Probation Department is violating the law by continuing to operate.
