Angeles were cut down this weekend, apparently by chainsaw wielding vandals.

The attacks appear to have happened overnight on Friday. Photos
of the downtrees appeared on social media and in the
Los Angeles Times, which reported Sunday they were located along
South Grand Avenue between First Tree and Wilshire Boulevard. Mayor
Karen Bass's city public workscrews are assessing the damage. They'll
be making plans to quickly replace the damaged trees. She

Channel seven, security guards at a pair of area buildings

taser and tried to use it on him before he
