The immigration issue has now put a leading mayor in
handcuffs this weekend. The mayor of Newark has been released
from custody after he was arrested by President Trump's acting
US attorney for New Jersey. That's according to US Representative
Lamonica mc ivor. Federal official say Newark Mayor Ross Baraka
committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings to leave an immigration

detention center this afternoon. Democratic reps Bonnie Watson, Coleman, Rob
Menendez Junior, and Mac Iver were also involved in the
incident at Delaney Hall. Representative Watson says the Trump administration
is acting like a quote dictatorship in its pursuit to
arrest immigrants in the country illegally. The White House is

actively looking at possibly suspending the writ of habeas corpus.
That's what Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said when
ask about President Trump considering the idea as a way
to deal with illegal immigration. The Treasury Secretary says the
federal government could hit its debt limit as soon as August.
