latest use this hour in just four minutes. Los Angeles
Mayor Karen Bass says her city is being used for
an experiment as the federal government brings in more National
Guard troops and marines to counter immigration protests. Bass spoke

Monday night, saying it makes her feel like this is
a test for what happens when the federal government moves
in and takes the authority away from the state or
away from local government. The LAPD announced that the city
is going on tactical alert, meaning officers can be kept
on past their shift end time and transferred between divisions meantime.

Mayor Eric Adams and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tish address New
York City Monday evening following large protests both in the
city and elsewhere around the country. Jonathan o'haleran reports.

The escalation of protests in Los Angeles over the last
couple of days is unacceptable.

maintain public order if protesters become violent or attempt to
block public spaces. Their comments came just hours after two
dozen protesters were arrested after occupying Trump Tower in Midtown.
