Swift reaction from Iran after a US military attack this weekend.
Iran's foreign minister says the US strikes on his country's
nuclear facilities quote will have everlasting consequences, Sayda boss Erichi
made the announcement on x Saturday and called the attacks
quote outrageous. He added, quote Each and every member of
the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless

and criminal behavior. The foreign minister said, quote. Iran reserves
all options to defend its sovereignty, interest and people in
accordance with the UN Charter. A UN nuclear watchdog agency
says there's been no increase in radiation levels at the
three Iranian nuclear sites that were bombed by the US.
The US military sent B two bombers into Iran on

Saturday with a number of penetrator bombs known as bunker busters,
intended to reach underground nuclear sites. Early Sunday of the
UN's International Atomic Energy Agency released the statement saying it
could confirm that quote no increase in off site radiation
levels have been reported at this time at the three sites.

At least one House Democrat believes President Trump's decision to
strike Iran could lead to impeachment. Jonathan O'Halloran has more.

In a post on as Congresswoman Alexandria Acasio Cortes says
the president's disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is
a grave violation of the Constitution and congressional war powers.
She went on to say he has impulsively risked launching
a war that may ensnare US for generations. Acasio Cortes
ended her posts with its absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.

Other Democrats have also criticized Trump's decision, including House Minority
Leader Hakeem Jeffreys and California Congresswoman Sarah Jacobs.

And One person is dead in a mass shooting in
South Carolina. The Anderson County Sheriff's office said it happens
Saturday night at a VFW post. I'm Jim Forbes. More
than one hundred and forty million Americans are bracing for
a record heat wave. It's expected to send temperature soaring
into the triple digits in some regions. Several states are
setting up cooling centers for the public and officials. In Chicago,

are opening up swimming pools seven days a week for
the first time in five years. Forecasters say a heat
dome will keep it hot from Michigan to New Mexico
for the next three days. On Monday, it will spread
into the mid Atlantic and the Northeast, with temperatures well
into the nineties possible from Virginia Beach to as far
north as Montreal. A Virginia woman is pleading not guilly

in Suffolk County, New York, in the hit and run
death of a former Hampton's real estate agent turned reality
TV star. Lisa Salvadi has more.

Thirty two year old Amanda Kempton was arraigned and released
after her family in nearby Manorville helped her make bail.
Prosecutors say forty year old Sarah, who appeared in the
Netflix series Million Dollar Beach House, was struck and killed
by Kempton on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays as she
was walking on the road with a pink suitcase on wheels.
The New York Post reports Kempton's lawyer claims she didn't

see her thought she hit a traffic cone and later
found the suitcase lodged underneath her car cops used a
license plate reader to track down Kempton, who, if convicted,

Senator Alex Paedia, says Vice President j D. Vance quote
knows my name. Padia's comments come one day after Vance
visited Los Angeles and referred to the Senator as Jose Padilla,
which is the name of a convicted American terrorist with
ties to Al Qaida. Padia said Vance's comments are quote
just an indicator of how petty and unserious this administration is.

one movie in the US. The Universal DreamWorks film made
another ten million dollars on Friday and is expected to
make thirty five million dollars this weekend, for a total
of about one hundred and sixty million dollars so far.
