a war of words between Iran and the US after
a weekend attacks. Iran's foreign ministry says the US has
started quote a dangerous war against Iran. The US military
conducted air strikes against three nuclear facilities in Iran early

Sunday local time, using bunker buster bombs to destroy underground sites.
Iran has released a statement saying that quote, in the
midst of a diplomatic process, the US has betrayed diplomacy.
The statement said the US government quote bears full responsibility
for the grave consequences and dire repercussions of the attack.

House Democrat Alexandria Cassio Cortez says President Trump's decision to
strike Iran could lead to impeachment. In a post on x,
the New York congresswoman said, quote, the President's disastrous decision
to bomb Iran without authorization is a great violation of
the Constitution and congressional war powers. New York is increasing

security across the state following US strikes on Iran. Jonathan

a mass shooting in South Carolina. The Anderson County Sheriff's
office said it happened Saturday night at a VFW post
where at Juneteenth celebration was underway. Deputy say hundreds of
people scattered from the scene after a fight broke out
and shots were fired. The Sheriff's office says over fifty

after he was released from a detention center in Louisiana
following a federal judges order. Khalil spoke to reporters and
was joined by his wife and by New York Representative
Alexandria Ocassio Cortes.
