a war of words between Iran and the US after
a weekend attacks. Iran's foreign ministry says the US has
started quote a dangerous war against Iran. The US military
conducted air strikes against three nuclear facilities in Iran early

Sunday local time, using bunker buster bombs to destroy underground sites.
Iran has released a statement saying that quote, in the
midst of a diplomatic process, the US has betrayed diplomacy.
The statement said the US government quote bears full responsibility
for the grave consequences and dire repercussions of the attack.

House Democrat Alexandria Cassio Cortez says President Trump's decision to
strike Iran could lead to impeachment. In a post on x,
the New York congresswoman said, quote, the President's disastrous decision
to bomb Iran without authorization is a great violation of
the Constitution and congressional war powers. New York is increasing

security across the state following US strikes on Iran. Jonathan
O'Halleran has the latest.

In a post on ex Governor Kathie Hochels said that
the New York State Police are working to protect at
risk sites and fight cyber attacks. She also noted that
she is receiving intelligence briefings and closely monitoring the evolving situation. Meantime,
New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he has ordered
the NYPD to increase its presence around religious, cultural, and

diplomatic sites throughout the city's five boroughs. He added that
his thoughts are with New York City's large Persian population.

And One person is dead and ten or injured in
a mass shooting in South Carolina. The Anderson County Sheriff's
office said it happened Saturday night at a VFW post
where at Juneteenth celebration was underway. Deputy say hundreds of
people scattered from the scene after a fight broke out
and shots were fired. The Sheriff's office says over fifty

d law enforcement personnel rushed out to the scene, as

dead after he was shot in the neck during a
fight inside the lobby of an apartment building in the Bronx.

Krotona Park. East cops got a call of an assault
and when they arrived, they found the victim bleeding from
the neck. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

could help them identify the gunman who ran out of

Senator Alex Paedia, says Vice President j. D. Vance quote
knows my name. Padia's comments come one day after Vance
visited Los Angeles and referred to the Senator as Jose Padilla,
which is the name of a convicted American terrorist with
ties to Al Qaida. Padia said Vance's comments are quote
just an indicator of how petty and unseerrious this administration is.

Columbia University graduate student and pro Palestinian activist released from
a ICE detention center, says he will not be silenced.

Khalil arrived at Newark International Airport on Saturday, one day
after he was released from a detention center in Louisiana
following a federal judges order. Khalil spoke to reporters and
was joined by his wife and by New York Representative
Alexandria Ocassio Cortes.

Now. Khalil, who helped organize pro Palestinian protests on the
