Crews have been searching through the night for survivors of
a Texas flood that killed at least twenty four people
and swept away dozens more. Ryan Chandler reports from Kerrville.

The sheriff here says they fear that the number of
dead will only rise as the search for survivors continues.
We've seen helicopters surveying the area. Drones and dive teams
also deployed to try and find anyone who may still

Governor Greg Abbott has issued a disaster declaration in the
area northwest of San Antonio, where parts of central Texas
where inundated Friday by floodwaters from the Guadalupe River. President
Trump has responded to the disaster and said the federal
government will be sending aid. The Carolina Coast is bracing
for a tropical storm. A tropical depression over the Atlantic
Ocean is expected to strengthen into tropical storm Chantal before

storm is expected to bring heavy rain, rip currents, and
