More movement in the Jeffrey Epstein case by the White House.
The Justice Department is asking a federal judge to unseal
grand jury testimony in the Jeffrey Epstein case. In Friday's filing,
the DOJ said releasing the evidence was quote a matter
of public interest. This comes a day after President Trump
directed Attorney General Pambondi to have quote pertinent grand jury

testimony released. Friday's request was filed in a federal court
in Manhattan. It could take months for the records to
be released. Millions are under the threat of potential floods
on the Gulf Coast and in the mid Atlantic. Arkansas, Florida,
and Louisiana up to areas in the Midwest were hit
overnight with heavy rains. Rain from tropical moisture will impact

parts of Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama. Flood watches are
in place in the mid Atlantic in areas of Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia,
and West Virginia. Meanwhile, nineteen million people are under heat
alerts in parts of the mid Atlantic. Southern Florida and
the Mississippi Valley. The White House is confirming it's looking

to reopen Alcatraz in San Francisco as a federal prison.

Attorney General, Pam Bondy and Interior Secretary Doug Burgham toured
the viacility.

Alcatraz could hold the worst of the worst. It could
hold middle class violent prisoners. It could hold it could
hold illegal aliens. It could hold anything.

Bondy says. The facility needs a lot of work, but

And authorities are investigating an apartment complex in Santa Monica
in connection to the explosion that killed three La County
Sheriff's deputies Friday morning. The explosion happened at a training

The cost is going up for travelers entering the US.

Visitors will now have to pay a visa integrity fee
of two hundred and fifty dollars. The new fee was
included in the recently enacted One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
It applies to all visitors who need non immigrant visas
to enter. That includes tourists, business travelers, and international students.
