The Corn Refiners' Association says thousands of jobs are at
risk as Coca Cola may plan to switch to cane
sugar from high fructose corn syrup. The Association claims the
change in sweetener is likely to devastate American farmers, primarily
in the Midwest. Although Coca Cola has not officially confirmed
the change, it has reignited a decades long food fight

between the two sweeteners and resulted in dramatic drops and
share prices for some major corn syrup companies. New York
is agreeing to a nearly half million dollar settlement with
a woman who accused former Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment.

Former executive assistant Brittany Comisso, filed the lawsuit in twenty

to continuous sexual harassment. The state will now pay four
hundred and fifty thousand dollars to Commisso. Lawyers call the
settlement complete vindication of her allegations, while Cuomo's lawyers slamm
it because it does not include any admission of liability

A man is dead after he was pulled into an
MRI machine on Long Island, New York. Police say the
sixty one year old went into the MRI room at
Nasau Open MRI in Westbury Wednesday afternoon without permission. He
had a large metal chain around his neck, causing him
to be sucked into the machine while a scan was underway.

He then suffered a medical episode, was taken to the
hospital in critical condition, and died the next day. Police
said the man wasn't being treated at the hospital and

Kane has been sold at auction for nearly fifteen million dollars.
