Former Vice President Dick Cheney has died. He was eighty four.
Blaine Alexander reports. The former Wyoming congressman's long career in
public service included stints as White House Chief of Staff
and Defense Secretary.

In two thousand, the closest presidential election ever sent him
to the White House. So help me God, Cheney was
there alone. On September eleventh, two thousand and one, he
ordered the administration's first response to the deadliest attack on
US soil.

Cheney had suffered a series of heart attacks over the
years and had a heart transplant more than a decade ago.
His family says his death was due to complications of
pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. Voters head to the

tying the record for the longest shutdown history. The Senate
is set to vote for a fourteenth time to and

the legality of President Trump's tariffs tomorrow. Monica Nelson reports the.

High Court scheduled oral arguments for November fifth, after it
agreed to fast track the case. The tariffs will stay
in place until the Court makes a decision. The President
had previously said he was considering the unprecedented move of
attending this week's arguments, but now says he'll stay away
so as to not be a distraction. Instead, Treasury Secretary
Scott Besson says he'll be there and he's hoping for

On Monica Nelson, The FDA says six people have died
and dozens have been hospitalized due to a listeria outbreak
linked to pre cooked pasta meals. More from Jim Roop.

The recall involves products from California based Nate's Fine Foods.
The cases of listeria have been reported across eighteen states now.
The meals were sold at grocery chains nationwide, including Trader Joe, Walmart, Kroger,
and Albertson's. Health officials were warning customers to check their
freezers and the FDA website I'm Jim Roop.

Sesame Street will make its Netflix debut next week, with
NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace as the show's first guest star.

The first four episodes of the long running children's show
will premiere November tenth on the streaming service. Sesame Street's
moved to Netflix came after HBO Max did not renew
its deal with the show. Morning episodes will drop on
three separate premiere dates. It will also be available on
PBS stations and PBS Kids digital platforms the same day.
