the country today could provide insight into how the midterms
next year will go. In New York City's race for mayor,
Democratic Socialist Zoran mam Donnie maintains his commanding lead in

In California, voters will decide whether to redraw their congressional maps.
That will probably mean five more seats in Congress for Democrats. Meantime,
voters in New Jersey are heading to the polls and
one of the only governor's races in the country. Democrat
Mickey Cheryl and Republican Jack Chiarelli are vying for outgoing
Governor Murphy seat, who was leaving after eight years in
office because of term limits. Neither candidate comes across as

I don't really like the candidate. The polls of titan

Before the vote, Senate majority leader John Thune said he
was optimistic that lawmakers would find a solution this week.
Democrats are holding firm on demands to save healthcare subsidies
that keep insurance premiums down for millions. Meantime, President Trump
now says SNAP benefits will only be given when Democrats
reopened the government, and not before. Yesterday, the administration said
it would use contingency funds to partially pay Snap benefits

as the show down drags on, and this shutdown is
now tied for the longest in US history. I'm Chris Krajio.
The richest Americans have been seeing their wealth grow by
leaps and bounds. The nation's top ten billionaires have collectively
added nearly seven hundred billion dollars to their fortunes over
the past year, driving their overall worth to two and
a half trillion dollars. That's according to a new report

end of those stats, the report noted that over forty
percent of the country, including almost half of all children,
fall into the low income category, with family earnings less
