you take each day may help slow the progression of
Alzheimer's disease among those at heightened risk. Researchers at Mass
General Brigham found that cognitive decline was delayed by an
average of three years for people who walked just three
thousand to five thousand steps a day. In older adults
who walked five to seven thousand steps a day, the
onset of Alzheimer's was delayed by seven years. That study
