voted Monday night to end the record breaking government shutdown
and reopen federal agencies, passing a bipartisan measure after eight
Democrats joined Republicans to break the stalemate. The final vote

of Kentucky supporting the bill. The legislation now heads to
the House, which could vote as soon as Wednesday to
approve it and send the package to President Trump, who
announced his support for the bipartisan agreement. The president's calling
on air traffic controllers to return to work, Mark Mayfield
reports in a truth social post Monday, Trump criticized air
traffic controllers who have chosen not to show up to

work during the government's shutdown. He said any who don't
return to work will be docked and have a negative
mark against the record in his mind. Trump praise the
air traffic controllers who have worked without pay during the shutdown,
saying he would recommend ten thousand dollars bonuses, Yet did
anyone who wants to leave will be replaced by true patriots.

Multiple reports say she'll be sworn in by House Speaker
Mike Johnson before a vote is held on a government
funding bill. Grahava won a special election in September, but
Johnson has not sworn her in due to the House
not being in session. Arizona's Attorney general and Grahava have
sued Johnson over him refusing to swear her in. Grahaalba
is the last signature needed to force a vote on

A bid to overturn the right to same sex marriages
has been shot down by the Supreme Court. The Justice
is declined to take up the appeal from former Kentucky
County Clerk Kim Davis to overturn the twenty fifteen landmark decision.
The bid had been seen as a long shot by analysts.
Davis received national attention when she refused to issue marriage
licenses to a same sex couple due to her religious beliefs.

One of those couples was awarded damages by a jury
after they sued I'm Tammy trhio. Twenty five states have
scored a win after suing the Trump administration for its
abrupt reversal of Snap benefits. Sarah le Kessler reports.

Matthew Platkin, New Jersey's top lawyer, plus twenty two other
attorneys general and three governors challenged the USDA's demand over
the weekend the states undoe their issuance of full Snap benefits.
The coalition asking a Massachusetts court for temporary restraining order Monday.
They got it, blocking the FEDS from clawing back the money.

This after New Jersey and the other states began issuing
full payments. Platkin says New Jersey and the others won't
stand idly by as the Trump administration attempts to rip
food away from the forty two million Americans who rely

The FDA is eliminating his highest warning label for hormone
replacement therapy products for mental pause. FDA Commissioner doctor Marty
McCarey said the so called black box warning on hormone
therapy pills, creams, and other treatments scared women off from
using the drugs that he says combat serious issues.
