Intense weather is bringing heavy snow on icy rows to
the Midwest and Northeast. Travel disruptions in the regions are
expected to be widespread due to the poor conditions. Millions
are under some sort of weather alert as the northeaster
will last through at least tomorrow. President Trump and Secretary
of Warpete Hegseth have defended the strike allegedly targeting survivors

on a suspected Venezuelan drug boat. During a cabinet meeting
at the White House, both were asked about the Washington
Post report that Navy Admiral Frank Bradley directed a second
strike to comply with Hegseth's order that no one be
left alive. Haigseth said he didn't know the second strike

to ultimately sink the boat and eliminate the threat. President

Trump also backs the strikes, saying they saved thousands of
American lives. President Trump, meantime announcing his Trump Accounts Savings
initiative Children Today, NBC's Brian Chung says they work like
an IRA for kids with a government deposit.

would see these accounts with one thousand dollars to every

Miami Dade College's board of trustees has unanimously revoted in
favor of the land transfer for the Trump Presidential Library
amid an ongoing legal battle. Supporters say the three acres
of land along Biscain Bay by the Freedom Tower should
be gifted as it will enhance tourism, but others disagree.

This donation of land would be a travesty, a slap
in the face to our beautiful nation of immigrants.

An activists sued the college, arguing the board's initial vote
violated the Sunshine States laws. Miami judge has already blocked
the land transfer before the issue goes to court in August.
Republicans are pressing forward with legislation that would add a
citizenship question to the census. It's opposed by Democrats like
California Congressman Robert Garcia, who calls it unconstitutional.

The GOP says the citizenship question is needed to get
an accurate count of those in this country illegally. They
say the changes would also ensure equal representation in Congress.
The governor of Louisiana wants to see the National Guard
back in New Orleans before Christmas. Rory O'Neal reports.

Governor Jeff Landry says he spoke with President Trump on Monday,
who promised that Guard troops will be back in the
Big Easy in two weeks. The deployment will involve more
troops than the security detail that was sent for last
weekends by u classic. Landry says the federal crackdown on
crime means the Guard troops will likely stay in New
