The Washington Post reports at the Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegseth
ordered the US military to kill everybody in a boat
strike in the Caribbean. White House doubled down Monday on
its use of lethal force against alleged Venezuelan drug boats,
with Press Secretary Caroline Levitt saying all aspects of the
September strike were legal to.

The strikes in question. On September second, Secretary Heigseeth authorized
Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. Admiral Bradley worked
well within his authority and the law directing the engagement
to ensure the boat was destroyed and the threat to

Levitt would not confirm of a second strike was specifically
targeting survivors of the first strike. Another pre trial hearing
for Luigi Mangioni is being held today in New York
City as his attorneys looked potentially suppress evidence in his case,
including a search of a backpack. Stephanie Gosk at the

City Maggioni's defense arguing the backpack was illegally searched by
police without a warrant and there was a delay in
reading his miranda rights, but prosecutors counter the search was
justified in part because police were concerned.

of his New York offices were targets of bomb threats.

The Senate's top democrat, says his offices in Rochester, Binghamton,
and Long Island got bomb threats Monday. They came in
an email entitled MEGA and claimed that the twenty twenty
presidential election had been rigged. Security sweeps were conducted, no
explosives found. Schumer released a statement saying, these kinds of
violent threats have absolutely no place in our political system.

The World Health Organization is now recommending GLP one drugs
as a tool for managing obesity. Jim Roop reports.

The WA Joe's new guidelines are published in the medical
journal JAMMA. It says the drugs, which include Eli Lilly's
zepp Bound and Novo Nordisk's Wigofy, represent a new chapter

that obesity will be viewed as a complex, preventable, and

One of the sons of Mexican drug lord Joaquin L
Choppo Gusman is pleading guilty to drug trafficking charges in
Chicago federal court. Joaquin Gousman, Lopez's attorney, spoke after he
entered the guilty plea on Monday.

The government has been very fair with Joaquin thus far.
This has been unusual case obviously, as you all can
imagine when he was brought over here. But I'm hoping
for the best.

Lopez originally pleaded not guilty after his arrest last year
in Texas. Prosecutors say he admitted to running the notorious
and ruthless Sineloa cartel, confessing to carrying out a kidnapping plot,
