The governor of West Virginia, confirmed Monday that Staff Sergeant
Andrew Wolfe is now out of a medically induced coma.
The suspect in the shooting is an Afghan national who
worked with US forces in Afghanistan. He was injured in
the incident and remains hospitalized, facing first degree murder and
other related charges for the death of Wolfe's colleague, Army
specialist Sarah Beckstrom.
