on the issue. Since then, Republicans have struggled to craft
legislation that would get enough votes to fix the core
issue of rising costs. Democratic Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer
will propose extending ACA subsidies for three years with a
vote in the Senate expected their day. Police on Long
Island say a man stabbed his mother and father to
death inside the deli they owned. Lisa Salvadi has the story.

Nassau County detectives say thirty year old Vito dan Brosio
argued with his sixty two year old mother and seventy
year old father inside the A and A Italian deli
in Bethpage and stabbed his mother first, then his father.
Cop say when they arrived, dan Brosio was still inside
the deli and had blood on his hands. He was
taken to the hospital, was virtually arraigned at bedside, and

pleaded not guilty to murder charges. Police say dan Brosio
was estrange from the family following an argument in November
with the sibling, who took out an order of protection
against him.

President Trump is handing out the medals to this year's
Kennedy Center honorees. In the Oval Office presentation today, Trump
awarded medals to actor Sylvester Stallone, singer Gloria Gaynor, and
the rock band Kiss. College football Championship weekend continues tonight
with the two top ranked teams squaring off, and they're
both in the Big Ten in the Enna and Ohio

State played for the Big Ten title. The Hoosiers and
Buckeyes are the only two undefeated teams in college football.

consulates will expedite visa applications for visitors attending the FIFA
