Speaker 1 (00:03):
What type of lip service. I'm Angela Yee, I'm Gigi.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Maguire from Geordie Tour.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
I'm Maya Mayaya. Welcome back to lip service. Thanks for
having me again. Oh listen. I was so excited because
you always bring all the energy and all the love.
So and we're gonna start another rumor today. Good y'all
got crazy.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Because I was saying that. When I was coming upstairs,
I was.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Like, swear it all start. Yeah, I'm cracking out, that's no.
But we got you here about yourself today because you
got a lot going on. Yeah, still killing it. I
was flashing back to your twenty twenty four freshman cover.
That was a good class. That was really yeah, you
know what, because they were talking about like what some
of the best classes were. Okay, but I felt like

(00:46):
that was a pretty like that was really really good.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I had so much fun that day. I was the
only girl on set that day. Oh yeah, I don't
know if that's like public knowledge that they shoot it
on like suparately sometimes okay, but yeah, we shot it.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
So it was like me I was with X four
bats Han show. What's his name? Damn, my mind is blinking.
You know what? You're doing what boss Man and the

(01:25):
Skiller baby there that day, and it was what's his name?
He does rich rich and Mary Richard Mary.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, And I was cracking up because Richard Mary four
bass and Biggest was all walking around with his big
wise and money in the here. I was like, can
I get some money?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Right? Is that real? Can get somebody? You're not?

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Actually, that's what I need to know, because I was like,
can I get some money?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Big good question? He's like, you you can get some money.
I was like, already give it and around if you're
walking around with.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
And he was like, uh no, we'll go shopping after,
but we end up not going shopping, but we did
go to starlets.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
And through that money. Yeah, you could have just gave
it to me. I was like, okay, let the girls.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
We can all get he hold.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Me some money. But every time I see him, I'd
be like, you still take me and this time my
guys go shopping later.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It's not you know the only person who gave me
money was for Chami. Okay, you give me a hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I said, you know what, you really bitch on this.
That's hilarious. Yeah, I feel like you also kind of
missed the days when people got paid cash for stuff
because it don't really happen like that. No more like yeah,
club appearances, this money, let me get something. Yeah, you're
from Brooklyn. You know you shouldn't I got that hundred

(02:58):
dollars gave me. You did because it ain't like you
needed it. You just I just was like, it's not like.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Really, if you're going to walk around with some money,
can come on. Like nobody else was bold enough to
like say it, but I was like, shit.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Well, I want to say this as we start this up.
You look gorgeous and I saw you posted about the
fact that you've been working out a lot, So tell me,
like how all of that started and what that's done
for you? Even mentally working out is a real like
meditation thing. No, that's exactly what it is. I want.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I want to be very clear that it was a
mental health journey and not like a weight loss journey
or you know what I'm saying. I'm not getting ready
for the BBL or nothing like. I just needed like
some structure in my life. I was at a point
where I could do nothing, so I did nothing. You
get what I mean, Like when you make passive income,
and you know, you make large sums of money at

(03:53):
one time, it's very easy to be stagnant. And I
think I just got too comfortable, like and I was
just like cool with doing nothing. Oh I gotta do this,
you know, every once in a while. And I started
to lack structure and I stopped. I started to fall
out of my routine where I would like wake up
and go do this and I would write every day.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
And you know what I'm saying, I feel that.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
And I noticed that I was like suffering mentally, like
I was just in the bed all day long, watching baddies,
watching like.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Just watching the baby all day long, like doom scrolling,
just doing nothing.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
And it was time to like start making music for
my next project, and it was just the dud dud,
Like I was lazy. But what should talk about when
you don't got nothing to talk about? You ain't doing nothing,
And everything.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Started sounding just yeah, just losing ship.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
And so I was like, all right.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Right, something, I gotta start doing stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
So no, I really I was just like not a
productive member of society. And I was like, okay, I
need to add some structure to my life. I do
best on a schedule. When I got some every day
I have to.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Do, there's a reason you gotta get up, and sometimes
the hardest thing is to just get out, get dressed,
and get out the hair.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I was like in a really bad space. So I
was like, all right, this is what I'm going. I'm
just start going to the gym every day. That was
just something literally, something to do in the morning, wake up,
go to the gym. And then it was like, okay,
I went to the gym, I'm about to go like
walk to this cafe, this cafe by my crib, like
got this bomb ass and which I like, I'm at
the walk there. I started reading rereading the Artist's Way.

(05:31):
I was just doing things, living my life, going to
the pool. I got a big pool in my curb,
Like yeah, it was just I needed to live my life,
go out and do stuff. So once I got that routine,
I was like, okay, I'm not there. I started to
feel like, okay, I got a brain again.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Like you know, I would say that's a sound of depression,
but you don't yet, like leaving the shots at getting
out of the bed.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, And I stopped watching TV altogether once when I
decided that I was going to get my life together again.
I stopped watching TV. I haven't watched ITV in like
two years.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Okay, wow, thing. I started to read. You have a
book club? Yes I do. I have. You know I
have a book club too that I'm gonna bring back.
We need a collapse because I honestly I read a lot. No,
I read a lot. Okay, you see what a reading
books with you. I had to go pick up some
new drops. Let me you really have I love this

(06:26):
the first first your own okay drop today.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Okay, it's called the Art of Loving You by Natasha Bishop.
That's the part two, so don't go okay you've been
talking about Okay. And then I got this. This is
Chrystalist by bb Read. This also just came out today.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Books are so pretty.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
And then if the record, yeah, off the record, this
is this.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
This seemed cool. This is gonna be my first book
by this author. Okay, this is fun. I have a lot.
I have like a really full library at home. Read
for a book, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Girl, yes, I love that because no, that's literally like
I don't know. I just needed something to do and
my my, you know, time. And I used to love
to read when I was young, and I just wanted
to be off the internet and start being like a
loser and just spending all my time like on the internet.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Like yeah, because that scrolling would be like you were
lay in bed, next thing, you know, two hours you
done went through all this stuff. And sometimes this stuff
you're looking at be making you feel like it your brain.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Like I think people don't understand like the things you
consume really control you. And so being intentional with the
things that I was reading and seeing and listening to
or I stopped listening to new music. I only listen
to music that inspire me. Like that inspire me.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
So to this day, really I don't keep what inspired you?
What are you listening? Let me tell you watch the Throne?

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Okay, like things of that nature. It was just on repeat, repeat, repeat,
because again, like when you consume things of quality, put
out things of quality. And it was really important to
me that this next project reflected all the growing that
I did, and like I was really intentional with the

(08:11):
things that.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
I was doing. He was just talking about that, Yeah,
intention is everything. So like no more TV. All I
do is read.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Granted they be fucking in these books, but you know what.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
They do it real life.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
I need lie.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I'm saying all this right now. I feel like we
need a Maya that I think we need a romance
novel from you. No, I wouldn't do a romance novel.
I could see it, though, No what was your doing?
Because they could be I think just think about like
some of the best ones that are well done, like
well written, but you know, we need that.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I could get into it. Maybe I'm just not I'm
not that type of girl. But if I was going
to do a book, I think it would be some
something akin to like Sister Soldier One.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
But that was definitely a lot of that's not no
love story. That's the dumbest bitch ever story, mother weak
bitch tendencies.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Okay, I'm writing out right like.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
I think maybe I would do something of that nature
versus like a romance novel.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I don't want to give people the wrong idea. Okay,
that's like a gritty street story. Yeah, it's more like
a coming of age story. Everybody's first, Like, if.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
You're a young black woman, you read that when you
was eleven.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
And by the way, still waiting on that movie still
because you know they were She's not letting that goal. No,
she actually had sold the rights, but they never did nothing.
But randomly I talked to her the other day. She
was in Dubai Dubai. Yes, actually in Germany or something

(10:06):
like that. I don't know where she lives for real,
but she'll be traveling. She'll travel to go right, and
so when she's writing, like because I have all of
her books at home midnight and all that, So I
read all of Sisters Soldier's books and so we had
a whole conversation and I was like, what are you doing?
Because everybody wants that movie, but she also had opportunities
to do it, and I think they wanted to like

(10:29):
have the first like rights to whatever came after that
and to the whole story. And you know, you don't
want to give up you know what it's like. You
don't want to give up ownership sometimes things. And that
comes to like music, when it comes to your work,
what you created. Absolutely No, I love that. But yeah, yeah,
shout out with Sister Soldier because I can see you
being such a great storyteller. You already are a storyteller

(10:52):
in your own right. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, No, I think I am, and I think my
goal is to do that musically right now. Yeah, tell exactly,
and I that's hopefully what I get across in the
new project that I am working on.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Well, it's been work done, it's.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Done, it's done's done, it's done that done.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
But hopefully that's what people get out of this new project.
Like it is kind of like a coming of age.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Okay, I was twenty I'm twenty four now, I know, right, I'm.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Serious, getting too.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Serious, but yeah, like I've had to come to terms
with a lie. It was a whole bunch of a
whole bunch of something going on, you know, and that
growth in that period, I feel like I lived a
thousand lifetimes. Yeah, and I kind of wanted to get
that across in a new project and tell everybody, look
this why it took so long. You know, when you're

(11:53):
sitting down and you putting pentapad and ain't nobody sitting
in the room for you making your music, it takes
some time.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Okay, goddamn it.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
For a second, it was just nothing in here, just
bing bong, nothing like nothing. So I worked really hard
to crack these stories, and like reading gave me it
provoked enough emotion out of me to like kind of
shock my brain. Okay, wake up girl, you know yeah,
like the gong to your head. That's kind of what
reading was like, Like, wow, you know you're reading a lot.

(12:23):
You could turn to a critical thinker, you know, like
I had to get back into that bag, like I was.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
You a college graduate, you gotta act like it. No,
that's what I'm saying, the intelligence that you haven't. I
feel like you've done a lot already. You're only twenty four. Yeah, right,
so going to school. But also like being an esthetist,
like you've done everything, being an artist, just doing shit.
You know where I want to ask you about this
because sometimes being a woman artist that people want you

(12:51):
to like pick sides in different situations, or you say
something people be like, oh she took shots at that,
and the fans go crazy. How hard is that? Like
learning how to maneuver where like sometimes even just saying
something innocently could turn into way more than what you
anticipated and people could be really crazy.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I don't think it's difficult to maneuver when your intentions
are pure. I respect everyone, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
I think I think I'm way too focused on myself
to pay attention to others, you know, So it's kind
of audacious to me for anybody to think that I'm
thinking about the next one, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
I think that's what that is.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
I don't. I don't pay attention enough to what other
women are doing for me to think implicitly about, oh
how can I or I'm gonna pick this side that
don't have nothing to do with me, you know what
I'm saying, Like I'm trying to say my name three
times like the Grinch, like gene like for me to
like be malicious in that way. I'm a fan of

(13:57):
everyone I respect who respects me, and I think it's
just that simple, don't I'm twenty four, so I'm not
gonna beef with like anybody that came before me and
laid groundwork for me.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
That's very silly to like you know what I'm saying, Like,
that's just so silly. I can't even imagine that, you know.
And for like my peers, the young women who across
from me, like in the same class, and you know
what I'm saying, like come out at the same time
or maybe a little bit before after whatever, I think, girl, yeah,

(14:29):
you know, I just my intentions are pure. I support everybody,
so I don't think it's very difficult. I think, yeah,
sometimes the fans can say whatever, but at that point
it's above me. You know what I'm saying, Like, I
know what I meant, you know what I said. So
you twisting it to make your own narrative that belongs
to you, Like I'm.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Just gonna go read a book, right, simply put, simply put.
You know, I think that's just you know, because we
talk about like big moments that you had the devil
Ex tile cover, but then you had that all women cipher, Yeah,
that you killed it. Because being in a safer is
also a competition too, because you like, you want to
make sure that you want people to be like, yeah,

(15:09):
she racked that better than you know. That's just what
it is.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Oh, I shut up a lot of She's so awesome
for that because she she hand picked us, and I
thought it was super cool for her to pick me
because like I was not like that was before I
got double self.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Freshman, you know.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
So she's always been super supportive from that to she
shot at me out when she accepted her first award
on the.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
BD, I said, what you saying my name for? Like,
she's so awesome and super super genuine.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
So I've always said, like a lot of got a
fan out of me forever she's I've always been a
fan of her, but like just the way that she's
just so like you know, So that was super cool
to do it with Monta Leo, Flow me little Bugs.
That was a fun day.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Like they was were all like taket shot.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
It was like take a shot, but they were taking
shots and I was like.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
It was accept you like I'm drying. That was really fun.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
I did my verse that day because I was like
I was getting ready to go on tour the day
after I flew out and me and Flowing on tour.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
So it's so nice, like yeah, yeah to have a
fun day like that to the next day and then
the response was like incredible for you. Yeah, no, that
was really really cool. And I love to rap. Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
So like anybody freestyle, anybody cipher put me in that business,
I want to get involved with that. I love to rap.
I think the art of rapping, like you know, like
some people just want to make music, some people just
want have fun.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
No, I want to rap and I want to write
better than you, and I want to write better than you,
and I want to better than you like as you
should about something I've been working on. Oh yeah, but
it's gotta be scared of me every day, Okay, I
want to be Okay. That's why it's hard to imagine
you at home not wanting to you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I think I was just saying sad, like, you know,
I was so young.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
And like scared.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
It was just like a lot of pressure, you know
what I'm saying. I didn't want to let myself down.
It's a very scary thing. Like I was like, man, bitch,
you was supposed to just go back to school, get
your degree, and now you're famous what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
You know. So I think I was just really feeling
the pressure.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
And I was too young with too much responsibility and
too much access to things, you know, and you know,
I'm adopted, I don't got parents, so yeah, like to
be like alone and that, you know what I'm saying,
Like it was a lot so things. I was trying
to navigate things when it feels like everybody watching you
because of reality, like anybody paying attention to me, like

(17:42):
you know at that point.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah, so things are bigger to us than they are
people around and nobody even thinking, oh my god, everybody
hates me.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Nobody even know you go walk outside. But that's how
was feeling, so like literally imagining myself just being like,
it's just but.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Sometimes you gotta do that and it's okay. Sometimes you
gotta wollowing that for.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Feeling exactly exactly. Had I not going through that, I
want to be a better rapper. I'm like, far better.
That was the first song you did after that?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
After I got out of that.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
I think the first one I did was oh my god,
how fitting.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
It's a song called safe sex. But it's like not
what you like? What the word? Yes, like kind of
here tell us about it. I'm rapping.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
It's like the song where like sex is the song
that crafted the entire sound of the project. So I
think sonically it's really really important because it sets the tone.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Yeah, so now we need to know a little more.
We've heard let's be clear, yes, let's be.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Okay, Like, okay, this is really indicative of what the
project is gonna sound like.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
For the most part, sounds like a movie.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Yeah, her own stunts period.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Hello, Hello, but no, I need to know more about
safe sex because this is lip service. Save sex is
like okay, oral sex. No, No, that's I'm want to
give you the wrong idea. I don't know. Save sex isn't.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
It's not a sexual song, It's not what is? It's
kind of like, let's be clear. It's like where I'm
just rapping you know what I'm saying, Like I'm rapping
this bitch. I got something to say. I've been going
for this long. Let you bitches rock.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
You know.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
It's almost like like that first night out after you
have your baby.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
You know what I'm saying. That's what.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Yeah, it's like that.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
First night after you leave that man that you ain't
got no business being with, Like you're not.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
That's what is that? Like? What is the longest relationship
you've been in? Oh, I'm a relationship bro down. Okay,
I hate that question. You know.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
The longest relationship I've been in has probably been with
this project. You know I spent two years making love
to it. Yeah, yeah, practicing.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Say you weren't wrong here? No right now? Like talking
about marriage, oh okay, you know for the wedding.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
I think that's the longest relationship, you know, So this
is really telling a story.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
But you said safe Sex was the first song that
kind of crafted the whole.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, that's the song that was like, all right, I
know what I'm running with lives.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Yeah, that where we're going with it. Yeah, all right,
Well we have even though I know you don't be
on social media like that, we do have a little
we have a little segment that we do about the grid,
and we're going to ask you about some stories that's
on the grid and get your opinions. Okay, all right,
So I have one. A woman met her husband in
a Bible group six and this is from people. Six

(21:18):
kids later, she found out he was keeping a couple
captive in a basement. Now their story is being examined
in a new episode of Hulu's Betrayal Secrets and Lies.
It's called the Bible Study Kidnapper. What you look horrified? Tone,

(21:39):
But this is imagine six kids with somebody that you
met in Bible studies. Some of them gotta be twins.
And yeah, and now you find out your husband had
a couple captive. What is the craziest thing you found
out about somebody that you thought you knew, really WHOA.
That's a good question that you were like, I don't
know this person at all, because you know that happened. Oh,

(22:00):
gen's thinking, because you know there's that time when you're like, damn,
do I even know this person? Right? Damn I don't know. Hmm.
I don't think, like because I'm very I don't have
to be this extreme skeptical.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
I'm like, I'm about to not right and then I'll
find shit out like, yeah, I knew it. You know
what I'm saying, right, not nobody that I.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Know, Like, well, let me see. I did a guy
who I knew he had one kid, but it turned
out he had three. And when I met him, his
baby mom was pregnant, but he told me she was
pregnant by somebody else. I believed him, and then she
ended up calling me looking for him. I was in college,
so she called me in college and she was like,

(22:42):
is he there because I need to he need to
come bring his babies. And I said, he don't have babies.
He has one. She was like, oh, I don't know
what he told you. Then he lied and told me
it was his brother's kid.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
What.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah, he was just a liar. And then, you know,
come to find out it really was his kid, you
stay with him out the phone call. No, I mean
I found out because first of course he lied and
said she was lying, and I was like, yeah, you know,
because you want to believe your man. No, I never
wanted to believe. Sometimes sometimes it's hard because you got

(23:13):
to think, like I think, this is how we get
caught up, right, You could believe a stranger over your
man who you think. You know, it's a tough situation.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
I'm gonna believe that you is what you mean, Oh,
that's your brother kid?

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Do you think I'm an idiot? Like? No, like, because
that's foul.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
You know what I'm saying, A lie, A man lying
about kids is like that. That's crazy to me.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
A man lying about kids, old flowers, blooming spring, that's
what that fund like.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
But I'm like, your own kids, That's where I'm like,
just mentally to me, you don't even have respect for
your own life that you're living.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah, no, they don't care. That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
I think that's No, they don't have respect, Yeah they don't.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
It's definitely that's happened. That's happened to me.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
He told me that his baby mim was his sister.
He's like, my sister, who he's pregnant.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
It wasn't his sister.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
I just gonna get a white live hope it wasn't.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
It was his baby, Mama, that's his baby. Well then
find out it wasn't his baby.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
It could have been his baby, did it?

Speaker 4 (24:20):
But I'm going to say, the craziest thing I found
out about somebody was that he was in the cult.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
He was he was raising the cult fire.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Oh and he never told you that. That's a good.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Talk more about this, Like there was a separation and
we never talked again, but we had a mutual friend
and they're, yeah, you know, he.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Was raising the cult.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
And I'm like, I want to have it so much
makes sense as to that.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
I was like, h some things I wish I knew.
I had a I remember my ex boyfriend his sister
told me that they were raised Jehovah Witness and I
was like, that's why he's terrible at giving gifts. What
that is? I mean, it's for real. So you never
found out nothing crazy, I don't think so. I don't think.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
That's so silly, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
You know?

Speaker 2 (25:04):
I don't think I ever found nothing like Wow, that
nothing that like that.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
You never went through nobody's stuff or anything.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Now do stuff like that? Okay, I feel like I
feel like I need to I'm out.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
I'm cool. Yeah, yeah, I'm you know, so mature. Thank you.
I think I'm just like I don't. I think I
don't care that much. Well, I feel like you so
you haven't been in love. I wouldn't say that. I
just honestly that's how I feel.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
If you want to cheat on me, if I got
to go through that phone, I'm gonna go to sleep,
and God go and show me in my dream, and
I'm gonna believe that. I don't believe my dream before
I believe you. But that's my intuition.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Don't lie to me. So you've had dreams about things happening, Yeah,
and they've been true. Yeah. Women be waking up mad
from a dream that feeling about you. I'm not going
to pursue it. I'm cool, I'm cool.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
You know like how they be saying like, oh you
missed that that plane and for a reasoning, But you
know that's how I feel like the bass called exactly.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah, I don't know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
I feel about things explain that so like if so, basically,
like everything happens for reasons, So you might have missed
the plane in the crash, or you might have I mean,
you know that's a that's a movie the house lead, Yeah, crashing,
like say, for instance, the people that survived nine to eleven,
like I didn't. I was supposed to be at working
nine eleven at the Twin Towers and would have worked

(26:30):
that day because of whatever happened in the building.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Spell exactly. Yeah, it's like a whole theory. I wonder
what they call it.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Burnt toes, Like you burned your toast and that you
had to make new toes. You know, it made you late,
and then this happened and then but it all started
because you burnt that toast. Yeah, and you was mad
that you burned the toast, okay, and I started my
day burning?

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Is that? Really? Want to look it up myself.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
When something goes wrong or doesn't work out, or like
I have a falling out with somebody, I'm always meant
to be something bad was about to happen with this situation?

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Half the yea or theory.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Yeah, a mindset suggesting that minor frustrating inconveniences like burning
toast or spilling coffee are actually small redirections that protect
that protect you from worse outcomes, will lead you to
better opportunities.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Okay, you need to make this an ad for your coffee. Ooh,
like a spilled coffee save your day.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Okay, now let me ask you what is something that
attracts you to somebody? Like intelligence? But you don't know
that right away?

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Yes you could, girl, when you're smart, you can smile
a mile away when the man.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Yes, men who are small are all the same, like
at their core, they are all the same.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Like, yeah, I don't like no dumb man. I don't
like that ship. Okay.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
I cut off a very generous man one time because
he was dumb. Yeah, and y'all know I like him.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
What do you mean by done?

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Like what did he do?

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Like he just didn't know like common sense things like
he didn't know what a hermit crab was. I referred
to myself as a hermit crab because I was like a.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Homebody and he was like, what's that?

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Yeah, that's like like like jay Z.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Remember a few years back, it was jay Z's like
fiftieth birthday or something, and he put his catalog on
like spoter member you go only get jay Z on
title and then to the birthday he released it on
like a couple of different He released his catalog on
a couple different streamings. Like y'all know, I'm a big fan,
so I was excited about that. This man said, what's
the catalog?

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Oh no, he did not. He did. Gotta be playing
dumb he did. That's just like and like conversation.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Like again, when you're intelligent and general conversation, you could
just really tell when somebody just like not ye there.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
With the smarts, you know, and he was.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
He was cool as hell, and he was very generous,
but he was so dumb.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
I couldn't do it.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Like I was never turned on to like have sex.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Yeah see, I don't like stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
I meant like, I don't you know how you telling
me that if a man's dumb or not, ask him
what he voted for.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
If you tell you I don't vote.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
About the world in that way, you're not. You're not
that guy for me.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
But it doesn't matter. Yeah right, you think that it
matters in the first day, already had that decided. Yeah,
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
I love that you said that I don't like because
I'm I'm too smart. I don't like no dummy. I
like to have like conversations. If he says he voted
for Trump, then immediately not my type follow up question
where were you January sixth, a specific year?

Speaker 1 (29:48):
I love everybody. Yeah, yeah, but if he was like
I was at the Capitol, I was more the capital
of what what's the indication somebody's dumb? Jordie, Oh god.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
I think how they approach you, Like if somebody approaches
me with something that they could have googled or that
that's clearly chatchy bet, especially in the d MS, that's
gonna piss me off. Like if they ask me something
that's in my bio and you didn't google it and
we're on the internet, Yeah, I hate them. That's the
number one dummy.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
That's what I feel about, Like, like, you know, people
will often do that, like trying to talk to you
on the business. I feel like you know this, you angel,
you know I want to do this, and then they'll
be like, let's meet up. That's always like a thing
the minute you d m me talking about business and
then the next message is like, oh, I'm trying to
get at you.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
You're already a phone because you shouldn't have the business.
You know, you're not talking to me about business. I
have a man. I don't pay him for no reason. Yeah,
because people also think they could just hit you up directly.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
I don't think you have to be like, yeah, I'm
gonna direct you tell my people, what.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Do you think about this? Right? So what if before? All? Right? So,
before I was in a relationship, there was like say,
a guy that I didn't like, never messed with, but
he had a little crush on me. But we ended
up just being cool. Nothing happened, and now like business wise,
there's things he wants to do. I'll never But because
I'm in a relationship, is that wrong? If we do

(31:30):
business but never nothing happened. It was respectful, Like he
shot a shot, didn't work. I said, no, I'm cool
and me I want you to need more money. Yeah,
I don't think it's wrong to do. I'm just asking
because I don't think. I don't think it's wrong then,
but to be respectful, I don't want to.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
No, I don't think you should make business decisions with
your men. Your man's fragility in the back of your mind.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
I don't know that's right, Okay, I don't know. I
wouldn't do that. I wouldn't take that into consideration. Now,
what if I just didn't tell him? Like what if
he didn't even know that. I'm just asking different scenarios.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
I just feel like, if your man's not your accountant,
then it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Okay, I don't know, Like, don't you know, how would
you feel if your boyfriend was doing business with a
woman that you know liked him. I don't care. You
don't care, Okay, keep just keep liking him.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
It don't it literally don't matter, Like this is it's
like me think about this, but like you love you,
you all that what that gotta do with me?

Speaker 5 (32:32):
I don't know, Like I feel like boundaries is a
big thing for me, and I feel like that's a
low key coast sign that it's like an inappropriate dynamic there,
even if it's from her side.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
I don't know. We can't control other people. You can't
control your man.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Sexy and he looked good. Yes, you have to assume
that everybody like you. That's how that's honestly how I
feel like a man and everybody like him. There's a
reason I like this, you know, so like I'm just
assuming everybody like him, and I'm just like yeah, And at.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
The same time, people could secretly like your man and you.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Never know what. Right, Yeah, but he was with her before.
It's one thing.

Speaker 5 (33:08):
But if you're going into business with somebody that has
that emotional tie, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
I just feel like that's messy. Welcome. Yeah, but girl,
I mean, I don't know. That's because she meant when
it comes to strong, I don't even like men boys

(33:34):
on this topic. I have another one from the grid
and then you guys get cars ready, all right? My
husband was fired for sexual harassment. I've been married for
eight years to my husband and we have two kids together.
Last week, my husband was fired. He told me that
he was flirting with a coworker who is not his
direct report, but it's lower on the hierarchy than he is.
He says that she initiated the first flirtation, but after

(33:55):
that he found her on Facebook and started messaging her.
She ended up showing the messages to a chart and
he was fired. He deleted the messages, so I don't
know what was said.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Oh no, she gotta leave him, been left.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Got leave him.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
The fact that he was fired is crazy, but the
fact that he was like flirting with the coworker and
whatever he said was like explicit.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Enough to get him let off. That part she got it.
He got the fact that she went to h R.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Yeah, that's like catching against somebody DMS and he's just
getting ignored.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Make you feel like, damn, I'm the loser that like, yeah, no,
she gotta leave him. You ever have a woman mad
at you that her man flirted with you even though
you wasn't interested, but now they're mad at you like
you did something like I didn't even do anything that
happened before. Yeah, you've gotten my BDH. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
First of all, if he's your bad immediately, I'm not.
I would never do that to myself.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
I care about myself more than Because there's girls who
literally will not like you because their man liked you
even though nothing happened. You ignored him, but they act
like you did something.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
I ain't do nothing but me right, Yeah, b coma
did me and now you hate me girl by Yeah,
or girls will try to befriend you like, which is
also weird.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
That's weirder.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Yeah, yeah, because I like the bitch ones just stand
on her crazy ship.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
So nobody thinks this woman because she's like thinking, we've
been married eight years. Kid, he didn't care about the
years on the fact that he got fired for it.
This wasn't his first offense.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
He's been doing it.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
He'd been getting away with it.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
He got really comfortable what he and they got to
the point where he it had taken it to the
level where he lost his job.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
He can't get those messages. Weren't that mad? Yeah, you
can't even see what the exactly girl? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Yeah, And didn't have enough brains to even be on Snapchat, Like,
if you're gonna do it the messages, I'm just.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Saying, I know he forged. You said you don't have
snowny D SNAPSCHP. I used to that. Yeah, I haven't
been on there. You you know nothing right now, But
I can't even believe people. So you snapchat, I'm gonna lie.
Dam probably cut that out.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
They want to snapchat, want snapchat, snapchat?

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Look and see you not there? That's me for sure,
all right, Jordy.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
You have your great Oh yeah, so mine was. There
was an interview with one of Nick Cannon's baby mamas and.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
She's Sody wouldtart laughing first.

Speaker 5 (36:51):
So she was talking about how she is in a
mono poly relationship, which means that she is anagamous to
her man aka Nick, but Nick has more relationships.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
That's anon. She's a moron. But that's an that doesn't
make any sense. That's like not a thing that exists.
I think none of them see other people. They don't
he he he's allowed to share. They can't share any

(37:28):
man that thinks that. I don't believe that. Yeah, men
will want to think that we don't do nothing.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
But I have unpopular opinion. Okay, I don't think they
can wrong.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I don't. If you got three girls who have agreed, however,
many girls.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
If you have all these women that have agreed to
be committed, to be committed to you, and you can
do your thing and whatever, and you can sustain it,
do it?

Speaker 1 (37:56):
Why not. I don't think he's the like. I don't
think he's in the wrong. Because everybody know about each other.
They all know about each other.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
It seems to be sustainable to everybody going.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
But what about the kids? What about me? Because they
don't care about the kids. This is the thing, that's
what I'm saying. If you found all these women that
are willing to go for it, they have already decited that.
The response.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Their responsibility is to acknowledge that and all of that
to their kids. So that's her, that woman. One woman
has to explain to her kid why she got seven
step moms.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
So but I baby here, Okay, go ahead, side baby side,
baby here.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
Coming from being one of those children where my mother
was not the wife, and the wife had children, and
the other baby mama had children. One of those children
was born sixteen days after me, there was a dynamic
of in the beginning of my childhood. I was only
close to the wife's children set of kids in my
dad's family, and I did not have a relation and

(39:00):
ship with the other baby mama and those kids we
did not meet until we were grown.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
I resent my parents for.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
That because I don't have a childhood with my siblings,
and it's like I had to create something that wasn't
built on a strong foundation with them. But we have
to really work towards hard as adults to really have
that bond that we didn't grow as children.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
Again, that's your mother and your father's responsibility to understand
that and bring to you why you didn't do that.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
On the flip side of that coin, my mama wasn't
just committed to my daddy. She was doing her thing.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Whoever still wasn't the same thing.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
But like when you put the kids into it, yeah,
like the kids didn't ask to be here, We can't
your parents.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Your situation no longer belongs to you, belongs to you.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
That unit that's you and as parents is up to you,
like you said, to figure out what's going to work
for you, how you're going to keep whatever you got
going on going on, and how.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
You're going to make that engine work within your dynamic.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
But yeah, her, congratulations to her and her relationships.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
There's so many of them. Yeah, good for her. You know,
it's just monoly. It's just hard because you also think
about monopoly.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Talk about they taking all your ship to them.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Listen, he works hard, yes he does. But I want
to say also when you think about kids and how
it affects them having their father, you know, as much
as he could be, like, he may want to be
there more, but it's like bysically impossible because he's working
because he's got families to support, but he's also got
families to see, you know, The only thing I want
to say in the can is that nigga only a movie.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
I whooped his ass in space and in a movie,
and I said, if I lose, I'll give you a verse.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
I'll bust his ass's I'll give you a verse like
you all was going to do a song together. I
told him if I lost that I would have to
give him averse. That's why I bust that, Miss bade. Yeah,
so he needs to put me in a movie. Hello,
you know what I talk about. What I want to

(41:05):
ask you is when you think about family and like
your own family, what does what does that look like
for you? All? My family is a family. I'll go.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
So my best friends, her family meet my best friend
and best friends since we were kids, eleven years old.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
She just had her baby, like her first kids. So
isn't that crazy.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
I'm like, whoa, We're like, but she just had her son.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
That's my guy son.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
I love him, and so yeah, that's my family. Like
I you know, I'm I have strong relationship with my siblings.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
My manager one of my best friends, so like, yeah
that's my Wow. Having your manager is one of your
best friends is also interesting. I mean we've built that
I think, Okay.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
He's my manager, so we like all the time, like
you know what I'm saying, Yeah, yeah, like you know,
so like I just trust him implicitly that you know,
at some point it's like that's my best tiem.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
He'll probably be like, no, it's just working. Yeah. But
like because you know, sometimes business and being best friends
it could clash at times. Yeah, not for sure.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
I mean I've had that relationship my best friend. She
does here, so she used to do my hair when
I was wearing.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
Wigs and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
And it does get like difficult to navigate because I
feel like at some point when because I'm a business
and I run my business compaying you and you know
what I'm saying, Like, at some point the people that
work for you, you have to like, for lack of
better words, like dehumanize them. Like we're like I can't
because if I humanize you too much. Now we're best

(42:38):
these right now, there's no boundary. Now I can't reprimmend
you when you come.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
To work late. Yeah, that's so hard. So I deal
with it right now exactly.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
So I think been they had done that again. You're young,
you just want to be around your best friends all
the time.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
I'm young, I'm rerige and I got money.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Come on, let's go party bag and you know, and
that's not always sustainable exactly. But I've learned that I
value my friendships much more than you know, business relationships,
and like making new friends is not a good thing,
like in this industry when you're trying to like come
up and work and whatever, like not everybody's going to

(43:15):
be your friend. Everybody wants to pretend to be your friend.
But like the friends that you've you've had already nurture
that relationship as your friend and so that there will
never be no you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
So it's so interesting here. So many artists talk about
like how hard it is to have real friends.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Yeah, I mean I don't think it's terribly Honestly, I'm
like a golden retrieval. I think everybody could be my friend.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
I actually have to stop that.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
That's my problem because I want everybody to be my friend.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
I be like, I like you, we're besties. So like
everybody in my number, I'm like, oh, sometimes forgetting like
I might other dies. I'll be in the club with
a bitch. I'll be like you so fun like that
all the time. It's actually terrible. Have you ever had
a stock ye? Shoot? You know? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (44:04):
Oh my god, I gotta stalk it in jail right now.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Where my dad? We need this story day in jail
right now. I'm still scared about story. He like spoke
my entire life. It was so crazy.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
I met him outside of a corner store and he
spoke me talking someone. Mind you he's fresh out of jail.
I think I was nineteen eighteen. Wow, I was eighteen
and he was like thirty four.

Speaker 1 (44:27):
Whoa, that's creepy, huh.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
He was really obsessed with me and he had just
gotten out of jail. He was out of jail on
like probation or parole, whatever you want.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
To call it. And I remember when he told me
how old he was. I was like, oh, you too
for me, but because they hit my dad. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:43):
But he was telling people how I was going to
be his next baby moms.

Speaker 1 (44:46):
Like I was.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
He had going up with my eleven. I was like,
I'm closing age with your daughter and I am.

Speaker 1 (44:53):
Wow. Yeah, he spoke my entire life.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
He was like following me around. That's hour he would
following me around.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
It no it was really did go to the police. Yes,
so this is what happened. I was like, yeah, my brother,
my brother. But then I was like, I want to
tell my brother.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
My brother gonna go to jail. I want my brother
go to jail. Yeah, so I was like I remember
I told him. I was like, you need to leave
me alone or it's gonna get really bad for you,
and he just didn't listen. So then he had did something.
He was leaving notes in my window shield. I'm a kid,
so he would like follow me the campus and stuff
and like wait outside like my car for me. Like

(45:28):
it was really really scary.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
And I ended up what I.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
Did was told like campus police like this guy's like
following me and it's like you know, and they asked
him to leave the premises. And then I got my car,
was driving. He's driving me, trying to knock me off
the roll and stuff like that. I don't stay to
the police station. I showed them the messages. She told
them everything. They said, okay, like if he oh, they

(45:52):
gave me a restraining order and they said, okay, if
he come within five hundred.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
Feet of you, you know, he gets arrested.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Yeah, so he did on my school campus, my campus ground.
So they took away his parole. They end up going
back because that's a violation of his probation parole. I
don't know what it is, but because he got you
know that, and they set him back in jail, and
then he was already fighting another.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Case while he was out, so he's like locked up.
See that's a very scary because yeah, so that's my
one stocker. He's scared.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
Oh my god, he scared me so bad. Sometimes I'd
be like, he's gonna come back.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
And get it because they gotta noticey you, like they
have to tell me if he like come out. But
he's like in jail for like a long time.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
So and I'm like famous enough now that like hopefully
by the time he come out, if you do come out,
I'm gonna be real favorite.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
So like you can't get me. I got scared. Yeah,
I'm sorry that happened to you. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
Yes, honestly, that's like you know how they say, like
your party trick, that's like my party, that's my party story.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
Like everybody listen to me. I got a crazy I
got listen and having to stock it that you know
already got cases and yes, he was gonna get me. Yeah,
you know he was gonna get me. That so scared.
Oh my god, I had a stalker that used to
write me from like jail all the time. And then
he got out next one, yes and listen, and he

(47:08):
didn't even live in New York and he would come
up here and let me tell you, they I found
out that he went to I don't even want to
say it because he probably would watch this and then no.
But anyway, he ended up they ended up getting getting
a restraining order against him and telling he wasn't even
supposed to leave in the state. And so he was
like coming here on the bus and stuff and waiting

(47:28):
outside and he would send pictures outside the job like
I'm here waiting booking email. You know what. Yeah, wow, yeah.
So if you're a stalker out there, relaxed, cut it out.
Start all right, now, do you have a great question?

(47:49):
So why is the grid?

Speaker 3 (47:51):
It's actually in the streets of the clear in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Okay, desky or.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Okay, now it goes down to the club. It goes
down in Atlanta. But so we just had that up here.
So there's two different angles. Are you are you riding
for your girl at the club. If if you were dead,
are you jumping in this fight if your best friend
gets to do it with?

Speaker 2 (48:15):
I mean, I'm not gonna let my friend get club.
That's just like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
But I get that from you, but you know, no, no,
that's not if it's your girl friend. Like what about
if it's a casual friend, like not somebody you superbo.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
I arrived somewhere with would I would be okay with
them getting like attacked on, Like it don't matter what
type of friend it was. I wouldn't allow a girl
like don't know to just get jump or attacked or anything.

Speaker 1 (48:44):
Like what if she's part of your group, because it's
happened before, Like.

Speaker 2 (48:47):
I wouldn't not Like I think right now, in the
position I'm in, I think, and this has really nothing
to do with us and Jada, But I think like
going out and like fighting is just like so like
beyond me. I can't even imagine that, like girl I
will be happens, Yeah, it happened. I just couldn't even

(49:08):
imagine like get things getting to that point. My manager
would take my mouth.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Shut like before you because I'm a I'm a slicker
like I'm I'm surprised I haven't gotten beat up, Like
I'm very slick.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
Out the mouth, but like I can't even imagine that happening, like.

Speaker 4 (49:28):
So allegedly because we wasn't there, we don't know the truth.
Jada approached her ex best friend that allegedly was messed
with a little baby whatever.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
The case, right, are you fighting over man? Have you ever? Never?
Like girls don't do that. I just want to say,
we don't know that a baby dad?

Speaker 2 (49:55):
No, I see because I don't want to say anything.
And then like, yeah, they feel slighted because honestly, I
feel like they did exactly what they were supposed to do.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
You know what I'm saying. If that's the type of.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
Ship she owned, and yeah that's what she on, bitch
want my baby daddy or what?

Speaker 1 (50:11):
Like, yeah, is you not for nothing?

Speaker 2 (50:15):
If that's my best because they've been best friend for
a long time, my best friend right now, my best
friend who I love, who we got matching tattools. My
best friend and I are outside and she like, bitch,
that's a bit too fucking with.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
My baby daddy.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
I'm like knuckle yeah, yeah, whatever, I'm getting trouble but
fuck it, Like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
I think I think fighting is ugly and ghetto. Like
I just what I meant to you.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Woman, I'm crying up like that was but fifteen seventeen
years ago.

Speaker 4 (50:48):
Right now, Yeah, I've grown, woman, You're not fighting. I
feel honestly, I'm too expected to fight.

Speaker 1 (50:56):
Yeah right now, Like what are we finking about? Like
that's so like outrageous to me. Yeah, I'm just like her,
and I'm come to court too, Okay her right there.
I don't think they did hit wron. Listen. I was
in the club once on New Year's and so I

(51:17):
was with a group of people. It was one person
that I was friends with, the rest of them I
didn't really know like that. And this one girl was
mad because a guy that she liked was not feeling her.
He was like a football player and he was She
was trying to dance for him. He was like, he
just did not like her. And then he started talking
to another girl in the club and the girl got

(51:38):
mad and like went over there and tried to fight
the girl. I was like, yes, I was like, I
have nothing to do with this. I don't even know her,
and I didn't really care for her, like the way
she was behaving that night, and so I just was like,
I ain't got nothing to do with it. So I
wasn't jumping in no fight, and yeah that was that,
but girl, because I also it's hard to fight when

(51:59):
the person is wrong. Yeah, you know what I'm saying now.
Of course, if it's your best friend, even if they're wrong,
you're gonna end up, you know. But I can't stand
going out with people that fight all the time. All
the time. You know that you have people that's going
to turn up, get drunk, wild out and now you're
in the middle of something that nothing to do it. Yeah,
that I can't stand. No, I just won't go. I

(52:20):
have some fun. What do you do for fun? Besides reading?

Speaker 2 (52:27):
I think for fun, me and my friends like to
like go out and walks and exercise.

Speaker 1 (52:31):
We like to go about the pool. Okay, pool, it's
that time. I think we like like doing stuff like
go cart racing. We just did that. That was so
much fun. Like I think stuff like that. I like
to like do stuff. Okay, and after this, Yeah, I'm
not like I told.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
Myself my friends for my twenty fifth birthday, we're gonna
jump out a plane.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
I knew you were going to say that. I was
about to be like, have you said that all my
half birthday? We're doing that. We're going we're gonna do
the sky zone like when you can do that? Yeah,
I felt we're gonna practice for my birthday jumping out that.
I looked at Where are you gonna go to do it?
Have you looked into it? No, I'm just want to video.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
I'm gonna tell my I'm looking at him. I think
they're so fun. I want to when they bungee jump
off the building some ship like that.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
No, giving fear factor, I would do that. I want.
I'm gonna go once, like just one time, maybe you
know what.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
I feel like, I'm gonna pus it out when I
turned and be like before I die, I will be
ninety two years old jumping out a plane.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
You know what you try peasing? Have you ever tried that? No?
But you know I've done I've done arial yoga. What's that? Yeah? Okay,
that's real fine. I like stuff like that. That's cute. Okay.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
I like my friend got a pulling her crib, so
we'll be like trying to do the pole dancing.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
And stuff like that. I feel like you said, go ahead,
need to come over and help. Yeah, you know I
have a studio. Can we go? Because they got them
all over and joins everywhere everywhere. Yo, that's late. Let's
do it. Let's make it a thing. Let's make it

(54:13):
a thing. I want to do it. Okay, I'm Sae.
I would love for you to hear the song. She
keeps trying to say, like, I'm telling you you can't,
you can't work to see you say, it's not gonna
make you want to you know, she's gonna say it's romantic,

(54:42):
Like what is that like?

Speaker 2 (54:44):
I think the most romantic I guess is when I
read a romance novel.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
Okay, I'm not like she Are you a kiss? Are
you a kid? I'm gonna get the fun out of
my face. Get You're not gonna believe me if I
tell you, Pisces, yes, she believes you. I give that.
It gives Burgos in your chart too. I feel like

(55:10):
somewhere I got nowhere. Virgo's lovers Vio need a man.
I'm not a verbal a man. I just think it's
about my big three is piscey Scorpio.

Speaker 3 (55:21):
I will thinking scopios are freaks.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
So it's just like, yeah, scrab energy, get onto my face.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
That's awful. Why they like it? They like it? They
like it, but I don't I'm gonna pay you for that.
I was just saying that was like I.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Don't argue on pay the dominature like some niggas like that.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
They do want to pay me. You want me to
talk like do that and get paid? Really, well, I
believe it. I believe it.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
I'm just not I'm so like hyper fixated on myself.
Like I don't think anybody could get me to care
about them more than I care about me, right now.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
What you shouldn't care about somebody more than you care
about yourself. Yeah, but I believe to like being it's
like wanting to do a type of thing right like.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
Yeah, I don't want to you know, like even if
it's good and healthy, it is a distraction from what
you want to do, Like it's still effort away from
an energy away.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
From unless that person is super supportive. Yeah, I don't know,
Like I got you know, I got two kids, and
not two kids. I can't be having people coming at
my crib well not yeah, okay, yeah, well, confused the puppies. Yeah,
they're confused, the puppies. Those my babies, like those my kids.

(56:38):
And then I don't want to confuse like e like
what if you buy you? But what if they love him?

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Nah, I'm just nice.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
But what if I'm saying I love you and stuff
like that? You do that.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
I taught everybody I love them. First of all, I
call everybody babe, honey, boo, I love you. It could
be fine minutes when I leave, I'm gonna be like, okay,
but I love you. I'm literally going to say the
watch because I love everybody, like.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
I'm not like, I don't know. And when you say
I love you. When somebody says I love you, you
have to say it back right, yes, Well, like if
Maya walks out of here and tells us she loves
us and we say bye, I know you love me.
We gotta love you, don't love you?

Speaker 4 (57:25):
I love you, Guys, when a guy says it and
you don't feel I don't think I get that, yes,
Like that's the thing, Like I don't be talking to them.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
I've never put myself in these situations because you play
stupid games, you get super prises. So I away from that.
I don't want to get older. You know what I'm saying.
It's good content for what music. I don't even do
ship like that.

Speaker 2 (57:48):
I can't wait for you to hear the project and
hear the music because I have a song specifically about that.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
Like literally, I don't do that, like you know what
it is. I like fun. I love to flirt. Okay,
ye seen it in action, like nah, that's not like

(58:16):
I'm super be like now, I'm way I'm way too
ill with it. Like I'm not gonna lie. I will
use the camera man as like an example.

Speaker 2 (58:23):
I will flirt him down, Okay, and you can see right, No,
you just said, I mean we could, but that's an
example going Okay, but you gotta be like super simple
with it. I can flirt with anybody.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
I can flirt with her majority I will, Okay, I'm
not gonna that's not how I work. She looks.

Speaker 2 (58:43):
I wish I didn't say anything because I would have
showed you. But like flirting is likens him art to it, Okay,
what I'm saying, especially when you do not good at flirting, Yeah,
when you do it, I wish I.

Speaker 1 (58:54):
Could flirt professionally like I feel so passionate about this.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
Flirting is an art when you don't want to give
people the wrong idea. Like I like flirting because it
makes people feel good.

Speaker 1 (59:03):
Okay, it's fine, it's like, you know what I'm saying.
It's slight hearted.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
You're gonna go home and be like she wants me,
you know what I'm saying, and you feel good about it,
and then whatever, and then it's hard.

Speaker 1 (59:13):
It's literally chary.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
Flirting, right, yes, But also women you want to be
like especially when like you don't know it's like, you know,
you know what I mean, but sometimes you don't know
if a bitch going or not. So when you're a girl,
especially a feminine girl, and you want to flirt with
another girl.

Speaker 1 (59:32):
Like oh girl, I love this dress. Yes, and then
it's like lingering stuff.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
Like this, Okay, Like they don't have to be not
Flirting is not always verbal, You're right, it's more body.
It's like if I'm if I'm worth all talking and
I'm focusing my energy on her and I'm like, oh,
she'll say something to me and I'm like, yo, your
eyes are so.

Speaker 1 (59:55):
Pretty, like I would interrupt her while she's talking, like
I can't even focus. Then your eyes are still nice, like,
oh my god. But whatever you were saying ahead, thank
you know what I'm saying. Jordan is a good flirt too,
though we have battle. Definitely might at the bar. It
should be a challenge.

Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
Actually, I have one better for you, like times as
a restaurant?

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
Which which restaurant is? You should do it? Okay? Were
I'm on my way. If you want to go to
the one you like, then we could do it. Lets
you both, I mean how long you got all night? Teleble?

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
I mean I have something after this, but I come
on some things around for you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
Please do I'm worth it, I will, I agree. Who's paying?
Of course? Okay? Hello? All right? To make sure I
need another drink? But you know sometimes so what happens

(01:00:56):
when people take flirting the wrong way? Does that happen
to you? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
You have the I'm always intentional. I don't be like
flirting with like niggas I work.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
With, right, Yeah, but I don't mean that, But I
mean like they take it too seriously. They have a chance.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
When you good at it, you almost make them nervous.
I think that's why I like making people nervous. It's
not even about.

Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
Being flirtatious all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
It's like I'm making you uncomfortable, you know what I'm saying,
Like are you getting high?

Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
Or is it just us? And they're like, you know,
my god, it's not scared. That's what I'll be like.
So when is this album coming out?

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
I don't know what I'm allowed to say. Management, it's
coming out really soon, definitely the summer. Oh good, this
summer is coming out and I'm really excited about it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
Oh man, we can't wait. Are you so excited? How
I am even listen? I love Let's be clear, Okay,
I love them. Why is it I love get money really?
Like when that money? Like when talk to you to wires, Like,

(01:02:11):
I know that's right. I don't know who you were
thinking about when you wrote w BT, Like what was
what was going on in Maya the Don's World.

Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
I think that's just what I was feeling, like like
you should just be losers. We just be losers, weird
dick suckers, all of that. Like you know what I'm saying.
It's sometimes you just gotta let that, you know. You
know what I'm saying, the same way I felt when
I did Dusties.

Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
It's like my God, you know what I'm saying, Like
like that that's how I felt when I was doing
but it like, you know, because I love that when
people go to the studio and something really happened and
you're like, let me get this out.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
I think that's always. I think that's why I struggled
making music for.

Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
So long, because you have to be outside experiences.

Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
Yeah, like when you not living life or like you
know what I'm saying again, it's really important that your
music comes from you because you have something to say.
So when you're just in a space where you just
ain't got nothing going on, you don't you know what
I'm saying, I'm sad, everything will be sound sad or
like you know what I'm saying, or it just sounds
me you faction, or like a parody because you it's.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
Not my life right now.

Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
This is not what I'm going through right now, right
super disconnected. So I'm always going in the suit. That's
where my best music comes from. When I'm like just motherfucker,
or like oh my god today, or like sometimes like ill,
I may let's be clear because I've seen a tweet
I ain't like ooh okay, bitch, hold on let's be clear.

Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
You know what I'm saying, Like, that's really how it
always is. Yeah, always in an emotion.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
It's something always provokes a strong enough emotion for me
to be like, now wait a second. And that's something
I really had to learn because I was in a
period where I'm responding to people on the internet.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
I got too much time.

Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
I should be busier, you know what I'm saying, I
shouldn't have the time, or like, even when I do
have the time, I should be like, bitch, I'm at
to this the fuck out you and the song.

Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
You know what I'm saying, instead of responding.

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Train myself to do that because I have a lot
of opinions about everything. I have a response for everything.
But you think you're funny, I'm funny, You're like you know,
but I had to really trick myself into like putting
it into the music.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
Put it into the music. Put into music.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
So like, I promise you if you said something or
you did something I didn't like, or if you did
something that made me feel good, anything like.

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
That, what am I not?

Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
And it's very direct a lot of the time. So
it's like I know that some things are gonna be
heard and.

Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
It's like, oh yeah, bitch, I am talking about you, because.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
That's how I've trained myself to like all right, this
just happened or like that's also how I come up
with the boss, like oh so and so it's just
you know, this just happened with or whatever. Like I
promise you it may not come out this year, but
next year I probably will put in a bar that like, bitch,
I'm so des about my data. Fuck okay, period, I

(01:05:10):
probably will say something about that, Like I have bars
about Chakari or Shakiri Honeymoons.

Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
I have so many lines about that. I have lines about.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Martinez, like interactions that I've had and like conversations and
stuff like that, like I love putting them to their music. No, no,
things I mentioned you probably won't come out, but it's
like literally silly things like it's like, you know, spreading rumors.

Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
That I'll take it at use it as a drop
for the exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
But I love doing things like that. I think it's
like so people know it's coming from me, you know
what I'm saying, Like this this is coming from me.

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Because it's real life. Hello and re restances. Okay, the
things that are real Paen. Hello, listen. I'm excited to
hear the full thing in this entirety, and so I
want to say this, did you get the Cash Cobain
feature yet? Because it should be on it. I feel like, no,
I don't like him. You gotta come on like Cash

(01:06:15):
because you know, I want to be dope, because because
you use part of this interview as the intro, because
it's funny, like the from when you guys are on,
and then because you're always supposed to and I do
think a song together with No. I so to Cash,
he got a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
I'm really proud of him though he's really you know,
doing his one. I'm really really happy for him.

Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
He deserves it. But the one time I went and
tried to go to a studio with him, I was like,
I gotta leave. Too much going on. I can't even imagine.
But Casual, I love him. Say that about everybody, love
everybody us, you say, you say it to everybody, told
us that. I mean, I shouldn't have said that. I

(01:06:55):
shouldn't have said that, but yeah I should. I'm telling everybody.
How much do cod signs matter to you? Like early
on in the game, when you're thinking about like, you know,
like you said, a lotto definitely, but somebody who has
dropped your name. But they always traditionally, they've always acted
like women can't be on unless they get like a
strong co sign yes.

Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
And you know, I'm glad you said that that way,
because I feel like a lot of that is just
the way that they position women and hip hop, really
women in rap, but like all women in hip hop
were like back then, It's almost as if they existed
as like a man's mouthpiece, right, These women don't exist
accessory exactly outside of their connection to you know, whatever

(01:07:39):
men they were affiliated with, and I think that's loser shit.
I feel like right now women are much more prominent
in music than men are given. Genuinely, I feel like
the women are making the best music, you know, especially
as a rapper, like we have to be more traditional
by default.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
We don't get a lot of.

Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
Room to deviate because they're so hard on us just
off the fact that we're women. So I think I
appreciate and I value every woman and man of course,
but specifically women who has co signed me and like
you know, use their platform to up me in any
way because it's necessary. I think it's really important that

(01:08:20):
we support each other. We make more money together. Men
don't do things like that. One men think that you
can rap, or they think that you competition. They get
on in the song with you, like I'm better than
a second watch, I'm gonna do a song with them,
you know what I'm saying. And I feel like fans
and men and affiliates have tricked us into believing that
we have to be competitive to win, and I don't

(01:08:43):
like that. I don't appreciate it because there's so many
women that are so talented that I would love to
hear songs with, like together from them or like with
me and them, you know what I'm saying. But again,
when your attentions are pure and you're just comfortable with yourself,
you know, things happen naturally.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
I haven't rained into no issues with nobody, I think,
because you know my intentions are you I love genuinely,
I would just be like yeah, cool, fuck, like you
know what I'm saying, Like, so yeah, I think I
think it does mean a lot to me.

Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
Yeah, now those cost signs, but it's not it don't
have to be like how before you had to be
part of a crew. It ain't like that. No more,
come out. Individuality is important and I love that, Like,
I don't know, I think a shout out to everybody
who did the groundwork for stuff like that. You know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
To come out and be yourself and exist as your
own as a woman.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
That's really really cool to me. And I'm not that's easy.
There's not a lot of women hip hop groups that
exist right now. If you had to put together a
group of you and say two or three other women,
who would you put in it? I think I would
do me. It has to be me. You're in it, okay, me, me,

(01:09:59):
me and me. I think I would do.

Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
I think I would have to do rappers. I really
really think are like so incredible, like as a rapper.

Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
But also thinking about who compliments you and your stylef
see my stylead soul.

Speaker 2 (01:10:19):
That's why I need to God Damnrod, I'm gonadrop this
ship tomorrow inspired.

Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
I think.

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
No, I think diversity would be really cool to like,
you know, so I would say me lottle cat or
I would do me a lot of cat, or I
would do.

Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
Me and do oh wow, yeah, okay, okay, I like it. Yeah,
But ippreciate you so much for coming through her, and
I'm excited for us to do our book club together dancing.

(01:11:09):
Yeah you're going. Yeah, so that's the day here you
Gottererary just like three. Oh. I love autobiographies and biography
BRANDI yet I haven't ready. I've read bits and pieces
of it. I gotta read the whole thing. You read it,

(01:11:30):
you know she did. Girl. We're still rolling. It's girl.
It's crazy to read it. Listen, I got it. You
know what book I read is so incredible, it's so good.
I'm gonna tell you who else's book. I have a
list of books at home right now that I have

(01:11:51):
to read. You know whose book I have? The young woman?
Who are Kelly? The girl that I have a book
at home, So I'm going to read that next.

Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
Wow, I gotta Yeah, I just got Gucci Ma book.
I'm really more intrigued to read that now. Yeah, really really,
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (01:12:13):
To read that. That's se I read. Oh, there's this book.
This is my favorite book I read this year.

Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
When I tell you, this book is incredible, It's called
Tender Headed by Miquela Angela Davis. She did she did
my write Carrey's book.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
That book is fenomenal. I got to read her book.
That's my girl. I love that book.

Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
Okay, that's that's my favorite book I read this year.

Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
Okay, I'm going to read tend to Head it. It's incredible.
And I love to buy people's books too. They come
out me too, you know. Yeah, But I love this space.
So anytime like we could, I want and being like, let's,
you know, collaborate on some books that we're reading, because
I also they always send me a couple of copies.
The guys in my job don't read, so I'm gonna

(01:13:01):
get you some extra book. That's my favorite thing to
say right now. But I'd be like, no, I'd be
like I say, everybody can't.

Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
Read, Like I just be like, like my manager, I'd
be like, oh you should read this book that he's like,
you ain't gonna read that shit.

Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
I'm like, oh, sorry, I forgot you can't read. You
can't read, or like, oh this person just move.

Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
You can't read, like I always say that, like I
or like I literally just said, like you don't understand
that you the birthday joke because you can't read the
last time you use the literary device was in tenth
grade reading you know you can you the funeral? Yeah,
you're stupid, You're the kid left behind. That's why you

(01:13:39):
don't understand it because you can't read stupid.

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
But listen, I got some books for you. I'm telling you,
so let's I'm serious. I'm serious. I'm actually planning an event. Okay,
it's called fiction.

Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
I don't know if I can say. I don't know
who's still rolling, but I'm literally planning an event right now.
We're gonna do the whole thing I had.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
I don't know if I can say this. Am I
still wronging? Or what? You? So you can talk. I'm
living each.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
Like on the track list, which song has a book
attached to it?

Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
Recommendation song each for the whole track is on this
project is like I'm gonna tell you a book you
would love. Diamond Doris Okay by who she It's a biography,
but she was like an international jewel thief. Fire and
the way she was doing stuff was bold as hell,

(01:14:31):
and she got so much the black women too, And
she got off. She went to jail, but came home
and did it again. But she made like she came up.
You gotta yeah, you gotta read her book. It's so interesting.
I think you were like that because I love don't
try to say home. I love autobiography. So Tender Headed
was so good. It was so good that that's what

(01:14:52):
made me go and get my ready Carry's book. She
has another one. She already wrote another one, but this
new one. And I only like autobiographies when people tell truth,
because you know, sometimes you know what I'm saying. Brandy's
book is messy and she don't be giving up nothing nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Yeah, she don't like something because she tells some stories
about her and dark Child, and Child told her, yeah,
you will do this.

Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
I'm gonna go, like, but why he said that? What
she was saying about Beyonce? Okay, ain't nobody critically thinking
your face? I gotta read this book. I read The
Baddest by Trinam Okay. I read that too. I liked it.
It was good. Tuna is a legend. You know, it's hard.

(01:15:41):
I always feel like it's hard for people to write
their real stories because when you write, you're also talking
about other people and then and some people, and sometimes
you also don't want to tell everything, and people don't
what's that bad line? I know, your book gonna be
a tell some how to tell all just to make
you with what off? It'll sell off? Right, like you

(01:16:01):
know that no who is your book is going to
be a tell something that to tell all just to
make sure that you well off.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
It'll sell all right, Okay, you're just going to tell
a little bit of the just to yes, yeah, just
just for the deal, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
Yeah. People are just the saying ship and people also
will tell their story the way they want you to
think it happened. Yeah, when you tell her.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
That's what I love about Tenderheaded because sometimes you at
some point of the book, I was like, you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:25):
Did I love the people tell I love when people
tell that ship and be like I did this, you
know had a good book like that prodigy from my
Deep book. I was like, dang, I can't believe he's admitting, like,
you know, a good one. Yeah, it's good, going to
read it. Yeah it was. It was very interesting. Yeah,
I have to read it. It was pretty interesting, even

(01:16:45):
the book for that reason. Yeah, I love him. She
probably like, I'm rich as hell, I don't give shit
what happen to happen?

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Even I think it's my favorite female wrapper up Okay,
oh yeah, I love you my favorite and she is
living a soft life.

Speaker 1 (01:16:58):
I love it like that. But reading it, it was
just so much alignment.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
I just saw so much of myself and like her
story and what she was telling, you know, and the
things that she was going through, even like being like, oh,
it's not my deal.

Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
I thought my life was gonna change or change it,
you know what I'm saying. So that's why I really
really loved her book.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
And I was like, yo, I can't wait to meet
her because she kinda like I have to tell her,
like she just means everything to me, because that's why
literature is so important, like putting those words and you
know what I'm saying. Like I was even glad Trina
didn't and I'm like, yo, somebody needs to convince him
to do.

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
This, Yeah, because I think she was.

Speaker 2 (01:17:38):
I think it was when Bie died, Right, you're twenty
three years old, the love of your life passes away,
his wife is there?

Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
What? Like Yeah, that's a wild feeling, you know what
I'm saying. Like I would love to like just read
all these books about people like you know, I think
Boxy Brown had a book too, has a book? Does
she write that she was working on right Fox, I'm
gonna it's not no, but somebody I know what's working
on it. I would love to. I love these two stories,
even if it's like.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
Going deaf being a rapper. And when I found that out,
that was my biggest fear for six months. Yeah, Like
I was conscious about the way how loud my music was. Yeah,
it was like, I don't know what I would do
because I could literally kill myself. No, don't say that,
no genuinely if my hearing went gotta go.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
I just want to know, because you have so many
skills anyway, not that that's gonna happen, Like I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
That's just so scary to me, Like, I don't know.
I think it's so so so so cool that like
people are.

Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
Able to like tell their story exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
Yeah, because even like and it's such a controlled environment.

Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
You know, it's interesting because I think it's also I
remembers put out an autobiography along it's called Awkward Black Girl,
but she felt like she wrote it too early, and
so I think it's important, like timing wise, because she
told me that she was like I gotta put this
out too early, like because things change your perspective changes.
But you know what I mean. And so I think
timing is important one tool.

Speaker 2 (01:19:06):
Yeah, but it's like she's talking about like a master
of all things, those types of it's like a self
helped type of thing.

Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
I actually, so I did her book talk in Philly
for that. Yeah, I hosted that. So yeah it was
I was so excited and it was like five different things.
But I want to read that. I want to read
you the Pinkin's book. She's been doing some press on that,
but it then came out. It's like she was just talking.
I just was talking about the interview she just did. Yeah,
that's such an interesting relationship they have. Yeah, and I

(01:19:32):
did that read it. I did that August. I've seen
an interview. Now he needs to do a book immediately.
I don't know what all right, well anyway, but she
don't want to tell her. You know what I'm saying.
I'm like a kid. I don't do nothing so boring.
That's how I know you lying, you can. I don't

(01:19:53):
be lying telling like I'm just like, I'm so boring. Well,
Jeordie's gonna tell us after y'all, I'll report back. I'm
just a dog mom. I go to the gym. I
take care of my dogs. I like to cook. Okay,
read your books. Yeah, I read. I go to the gym.

(01:20:14):
I walk. I'm so like, but that's how I stay around.
You're a hermit crab. No I'm not. I'm not gonna
go right well, my the Dan. Thank you so much
for coming through. We really do appreciate and as soon
as you're able to tell us more about the album
and when it's coming out, you're always welcome here. Yes,
