Speaker 1 (00:03):
I'm not Carlos. Yes, all right, hold on, it's the service.
I'm Angela.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Y Oh, I'm a little real and I'm Callos to catch.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah. So a dating show because I feel.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I don't know, for the love of Carlos, for the.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Love that's for the love.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Of ray j. I know I'm gonna have him come
home be again.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
No, you gotta do come up with something completely.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Different jokes, love and cars.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Mmmm.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Let Carlos ruin your life?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Why do you see?

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Because I don't have no track record of ruining nobody's life.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Though you sure I feel what you heard?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
You heard? I mean I feel like I saw something
like about.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Bring it up. This is what This is the right
platform to talk about it.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
I feel like we know somebody who you dated that
you have publicly like kind of done things together.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
That don't mean I did something.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
So she wasn't talking about you when she was saying
she has to find herself again.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
She was lost And that's just shit people say after
they break up with some man.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I didn't help her lose herself. How you a.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Grown as a woman and you lost yourself. I've never
lost me though, I ain't never lost me. I keep
up with myself very well.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Okay, so you're saying that wasn't about it could be
about anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
That could probably be about to do she's dealing with now.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, well, then she wouldn't be lost if she You
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
How do you lose yourself into somebody?

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Though, especially often, like women would say they lose themselves often.
I don't think that's something that men say or publicize
when it comes to themselves. Yeah, but a lot of
women say that they lose their confidence, they're not sure
of themselves, they become insecured.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
That's a real id see you having a woman lose
her confidence.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Why if all I'm doing is hyping you up, giving
you confidence, putting you on platforms, and bringing you in
nice rooms around people you wasn't around.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Lifestyle.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Is the age limit to losing yourself to somebody?

Speaker 5 (02:06):
I don't think so. But but question like you have
that perspective, do you feel like there's another side to
it that the people that you've dated in the past
might might not see it that way?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
No, are you receptive to listening to it? Listening like
if a woman's like expressing like the issues Are you
receptive to that or are you automatically No, I don't
know it just.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I guess it varies. Some situations help them out.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Little look at little Real all happy in love.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
But this is my question though, like is there like
And it's funny because I think about, like all my homegirls,
are that really success?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Because now I really want to understand it.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
That's really successful to have all these criterias and stuff.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
How do you lose yourself as somebody? I could see
you being like not mature enough for a relationship, and
it happens. But I wonder how that happens, like when
you like like for real grown.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I think that dating has been hired for a lot
of women, and sometimes I do see women trying to
do things to please a man because it feels like
it's competitive, like super competitive, and it's hard to keep
a man because there's so many women, Like if you
get a good man, there's always women that's like vying
for his attention and you know, and it's so much

(03:26):
access to things, and I see women doing things that
normally like having threesomes, that they don't even necessarily want
to do, but they're doing a.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Good thing because why would you want to be that,
you don't want.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
To be there your But that's the thing. Even with
men who may be insecure, women stop doing certain things
that they were used to doing because they want to
make him feel more comfortable. And then you start not
becoming yourself.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
On Instagram one time and now she lost it.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
But I think separate from her status, like where she's
at in her career or a sometimes it's not that
it's mental and emotional.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Well this doesn't was literally dating somebody that was unemployed.
Oh that's different. So how she's gonna lose us? That's
what I'm saying. You ain't got nothing to lose. They
won't never get to tell liast Saturday.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
But look they're unemployed. See that's also kind of like
she was doing other stuff though, right like content creation?
What's unemployed? And what's like?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
What who ain't talking about? Man? Nobody?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Because we talked about it later, We can talk.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
About it whatever. Just they they're giving her and out
and it ain't no out the head?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
What do you?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
But how is it like dating somebody and then bringing
them on your platform?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Right?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Because that's also and for you like little Ral you
eloped and you know when you got married and.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Because it was but first of all, she also know everything.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I don't you even.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah, we was working together every day.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
We went to the core.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
Yeah, but that was after that after we did the movie.
It was like months after we did it, like after
my festival.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
See when I hear it, I think you like drove
in the middle of the night, the biggest dressed up,
Like but we did go to the courthouse dressed up
and people was in there getting like license, Like imagine
people that they paperwork to get other stuff done, and
we hold hands, shut up and get your license.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
But you're not. That's a beautiful thing too, because then
that's the woman who's like, I really want to be
with you. I don't need a big.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
Well she she wanted that, and I was always pushing
for that, and then one day it made sense to her.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
But I still owe her that though.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
So you're going to happen, that's gonna be a party. Party.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
But that's why I rather do it, because it feels
like I feel like weddings are over.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I mean, we talked about this school.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
I think anniversary should be celebrated, like you don't graduate
the first day of high school.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Okay, we sell you know what I mean, that's just.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
Real, Like it's like it's a celebration when you are
kind or something. But I think, like we don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
It's especially just both our second time around too.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
So how many kids do you guys have between y'alls?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
It's seven total?

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yeah, baby, yeah that's a that's a fun house.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
I have that thing.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
So yeah, it's like weird too because I've always had
dreams about having like some large family. Yeah, I met
a perfect woman for that, who you know, adults well,
and she's amazing. But you know, it's funny, like even
when I met her, having a what our spats you know,
you know, as we've been together, and it's funny. I

(06:36):
remember having a conversation with her like because women sometimes
you go down this whole list of things somebody doing
to you ain't doing right.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
And I was just like, look, if I'm really that.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Then you should leave.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
What did she say about it?

Speaker 6 (06:47):
She was like, well, most of the time women think
we being you call us a narcissister, saying that when
I'm being honest with you, like no, if you're we're
both grown at this point, because also I understand with this.
I'm like if this on work. I'm not gonna I'm
gonna be kind of hurt, but I'm too grown to
be sitting sadness. The rest of my life is dope.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
I'm glad you lose you.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
But to your point, you've also both done this before,
so you know, like if this is not working, you
can kind of feel it.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
But people still do it, which is crazy. It's like
it's more or less like I honestly do want to understand,
like because even me and her was having this thing
and she was listing these things, and I'm like, yo,
if I'm doing all this.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
For real, then you should definitely not be with.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Me, like I sound terrible.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, Am I really doing all this stuff you're saying?
Or are you?

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Are you exaggerating the list because of whatever one or
two things I irritated.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
You with, right, Yeah, because it sometimes things like boil over, Yeah,
and then it just gets to that point.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
Well at the real conversation, like a real honest like, hey,
you know, some of this stuff is some of the
energy from some past stuff that.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
You're putting in.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
What's some of it valid?

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Yeah, but like nothing like it wasn't as strong as
you It was enough that if we talked it out
so I can understand your perspective on it, because I'm
grown enough to take that in right, and so like,
once we started having those type of conversations, like even
now to this day, I love, I almost love sometimes
when we geto those spets because we have some really
we get into a very honest conversation.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
And what's the rule about using that on stage?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
It's no rude to it if it's funny, as long
as I make it.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Funny, because sometimes people feel like that's so personal.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Like, yeah, I've made her get to an argument before
one of my shows and it was so fresh.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I had to like, let me tell you what she said.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
She's backstage like, but she laughed because she like, Dan,
It's crazy how you was able to make that.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I'm like, that's how I could.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
Actually, I actually understand stuff better sometimes after I talk about.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
It, because now I'm looking at it from your perspective.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
And she probably heard it differently too. When you were
talking about.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
It is so biased. You see how they heard you
are and they just.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Said, well, I just we talked about it. No, but
you definitely did something.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
You did what colors you in our fairness? What are
your thoughts on marriage.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
It's great for the people that it's great.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
For, Okay, and maybe one day for you. You're not sure, Yeah,
your commitment fold kind of.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
No, I'm not I just maybe my soul maybe maybe
what's the last time you.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Like openly been in a relationship.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
The last time and the last time was enough relationship
for me?

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Are you traumatized?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
I was twenty twenty three.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Either you're traumatized.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
I just know that I've been spending a lot of
time with myself to try to see if I was
what you said I was, and I've been enjoying the
hell out of myself.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
Do you think publicizing it made no your feelings worse
about it?

Speaker 2 (09:48):
I never even said like my sad.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, it's just you know, sometimes you go through situations
with people and then you start to see who they
really are, and then you kind of just did.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
I I mean lady and he would bring her on
the show sometimes right and let her you know, so
she was contact creation as well. So did you did
you watch when she told her side?

Speaker 2 (10:13):
And I was there. I didn't need to hear her.
I know what happened to me. I know what you
did to me.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
What did she do to you?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
How much time we got?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
No? I am curious. I want to hear, like from
your point of view? What was what from a man's point,
because we, like you said, we've heard hers, But what
do you think the issue was?

Speaker 2 (10:34):
It was me?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Therein lies the problem.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (10:41):
I saw something and it made me look at it different.
That's the short version, all right.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Fair enough. Sometimes when you see something you can't ever
go back to. There are certain things that you can't
come back from. Happened to be with somebody and you
see one thing and you're like, oh, I don't think
I could.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
See them differently the life that's something you see, or
even just how they act. I was in a relationship once,
and the way he acted at the end, I was like, whoa,
you did a complete one eighty. Then what I knew
or what you said you were I can't even look
at you as that person anymore. So it can never
be the same.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
That's literally it was.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Sometimes it's really little things too, Like I dated a
guy went and we were at a restaurant and he
was like, I don't know why he did this, but
he was like like doing this on the table, like
he was longer. No, but he like he was beating
doing like a song. He wasn't like an artist that
it annoyed the shit. I got up and left and

(11:39):
went home and left him there and I never messed
with him again after that.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
What you think was the reason?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Deep down in side, I probably didn't like him that much,
and it was like, just what the fuck is wrong
with you? I don't know why that particular thing irritated,
Like why are you banging on the table in a
restaurant like you're in a studio drumming.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
That's what's interesting too when you when you dating like that, though,
you you can actually be more irritated, especially the older
you get.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
It's like, don't want to see that a lot.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
But I was kind of I was like twenty three
when yeah, I was really young.

Speaker 5 (12:10):
When that three you didn't like him, You didn't like him,
I think.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Something whatever, you could have tapped his foot.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Ultimately, when you like somebody, you'll put up with things
that you won't put up for later.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, clearly I would hate to be that man.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Things are cute when you really like someone, and when
you don't like them, it's awful.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
You're a bobby mcfairy fans.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Then you look back, you like, don't.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Worry, like happy. It's hard to go back once you
see that.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Now listen, I want to of course, let's get to
also Haunted Heights, because you know, horror movies are my
favorite genre. But this is a comedy horror, little real
your first time directing. Yes, and it's great because you
got your friends on set with you, you know, and
especially this guy he I say, he's the star.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
This is this is a breakout right here, Carlos Killer.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
So that's what happens when you're in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
You can I had to find me Carlos.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
This is funny. Like I watched women react to him.
It's really fascinated me.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Because it'd be like sometimes may reacting.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
Like Carlos, but it's almost a flirty like not trust
to him.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
It's a very interesting thing, Like I watch it out
of that like do you not like me?

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Yeah, it's really the intrigued.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
But we'll take a chance. Also, women think sometimes they
could change a man for sure, like you're like a
good project.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Stop it, no it is.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
And some women also just want to deal with the
fun that comes with you being a bad boy or
whatever the case is.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
That's the reality.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Women like not you just.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Generally like some women know a man might not be
like the best guy for her, but it feels like
it might be. It might be.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
This was confusing about you, like I'll see him because
Carlos say some really honest you know, he's blood is
what it is.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
And women like Cardlus.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
This is Cardlus, Like, what's something rude?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Like you just said it was rude. But then you
like third with.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Him because he's a challenge, so yard interested to beat. Yeah,
he's a challenge and he's your celibrate.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Right, absolutely not absolutely not, hell no what I was saying.
I'm not absolute, just in between, Brandon, I'm in between.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
It's just slow.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
I'm sexually homeless, homeless.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
I don't have no where.

Speaker 5 (14:43):
You haven't found you. You haven't lost yourself though.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
I got me.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
But you guys filmed in Detroit, absolutely right, and that
was it was it.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Eighteen days, eighteen days.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
That's amazing. Is a fun place too. I know you
went outside there at least. Yeah, got some fly chicks too.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
They are very flat. I got money and they got
their own motion. And sometimes it's just best to watch
just let them be.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
I love you know, and you guys were in Barry
Gordy's mansion.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Is that cod Yes, this dude, Verry Gordy his first mansion.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
So it's like he left that place exactly how he
left it, which made it even more creepier because it
was like older stuff in there, and like it was
stuff from like uh we saw like momentos there, like
it's like legends there, pictures.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
And handwritten lyrics you could feel telling you it was.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
It was a bit eerie, to be quite honest with you,
because it was one of those original houses too, where
like you you know, they build that furnace first, didn't
put the house on top of it. Wow, like yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Be filming and like Verry Gordy, that's like that has
a great feeling too.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
I can believe when they sent me because you know,
we was looking at places. We also looked at Aretha
Franklin's for the house too, that.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Big roads in the middle of it.

Speaker 6 (16:01):
It's I'm like all these like in Detroit at the time,
it was a gang of like especially wealthy black artists,
and yeah, yeah it was crazy. But when they showed
me the pictures when we went in there, I was like,
oh this is this is perfectly creepy.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
They gonna let her shoot.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
It perfectly creepy. So nobody owns somebody owns it right
now they're trying to sell it. Yeah, guy that owns it,
and so he's not doing nothing change anything changed. It's
also hard to do because that's Barry Gorty's all mentioned.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I think that's why he bought it though. I felt
like he wanted that.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Yeah, even though because even the guys who owned Aretha
Franklin's house, some of the stuff they've kept there, like
it was certain like dresses and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
They actually like it's almost like little museums in a way.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
I feel like that's worth so much money and so valuable.
Did you feel any spirits while you were in there?

Speaker 4 (16:50):
You feel like, if I'm telling you, if you felt something,
because it was just this even like this hallway that
that was built there that was in between the.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
It was very long, like the ground tunnel. Maybe like.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
It feels like that's what he said, He's just like
sneak up old people. I think all the time through
that tunnel, that's what it felt like.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
I can't even imagine what that must be like. Do
you feel like when you were younger, you've ever felt
like the presence of spirits or ghosts or anything or ghosts?

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah you have.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
You're from the South, so I know definitely.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
I remember one that I woke up and it was
this mirror and I looked in the mirror and I
saw somebody and then it just like went away scared
of ship.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah I wasn't. He went right back to sleep after that. No, okay,
I heard right now. I would have switched rooms. I
don't know if I could do that, but maybe it
was a good spirit.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Who knows.

Speaker 5 (17:45):
But it's still yeah, you know, like you could tell yourself,
oh it's good energy, but it's.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Still all the house.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
I grew up in man like my stepfather his grandfather
dad in the house, and he used to always sound
like somebody was walking up the hall, and you always
here like the sink, like somebody was turning the sink off.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
I think some stuff do people linger?

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Yeah that don't like it's interest like because you know,
I mean still I'm a man of faith.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
But like.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
A lot of very great movies do this thing for
me where it's like I ain't think about like that, like.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams. That was fascinating
him going back to get his wife and.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
And yeah, it's it's it's it's interesting like some stories
are told really well where it's like, oh, this is
actually I could see somebody in a battle, right, Yeah,
even like the mo what was.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
The movie would we go over ghosts?

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Ghost? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
With Patrick was yeah, ghost.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
To say, the ghost usually some white people.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
She was always.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
You never seen, no black ghosts. You ain't never seen
like Harry Tubman.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Ghosts many man, Well he's not a ghost, he was really.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
That wasn't a ghost though, But I mean tells from
the Hood kind of play with that a little bit. Yeah,
where they remember the little dolls and the little slave dolls.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Oh, tell some of the hood was my ship back
in the day.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
That was scary man.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Candy Man was scary back in the day.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
The original was scary.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Like, yeah, the original, well, the newer one was it
was you know, I love a scary movie. I love
being scared.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Like the newer one was good.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
Yeah, but when the first one came, it's something about
what something's first, because it's even like with the first
it like it first came out.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
It was just a different energy.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
It was like too like movies.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
You know, when you look back at some of those
old scary movies, it looks so cheesy now. Like I
was on the plane, I was watching the First Nightmare
on Elm Street, and I remember, like the first time
I seen that, how fucking horrified I was. And now
you look at it and you're like, this is really
just funny.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Tales from the Crip was scary.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
As ill too, or Children of the Corn Did you
ever see Children.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Of the Malachi?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Crazy?

Speaker 4 (20:00):
I mean both the geist was frightening or the Exorcist
Cemetery pet cemetery that see.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
I like a premise like that too, Like you bury
your pet because you miss your pets so much and
then it comes back to life.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
That's awful.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Yeah, but it also makes sense, right because if we
could bring our pets back to life, when.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Don't we Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:17):
For sure.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
The only thing is that they're evil.

Speaker 6 (20:19):
That's why if you were able to make something scary,
now you've like weapons.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
To me, was that was a good one.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
That was a good one. The kids are running out
the house.

Speaker 6 (20:26):
But it's some I think kids like being something is
always more frightening.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Than right, because they're so sweet and innocent. Yeah, and
then yet like child's play with the little doll and
all of.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
That, like the girl with the like in the Haunted
House with the hair on her face.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yeah, or from the Conjuring they had a lot with
the doll Annabelle. Yeah, yeah, I'll be watching all these
horror movies I see. Yeah, so Haunted Heights with that
somebody's trying to steal right from the house. It's a
group of strange friends.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Tell me about strange friends, but good friends.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Okay, we think were going into Airbnb, but it's actually
non airbnb. It's him setting up his character setting up
a heist. Which this is what this movie does. It's
making fun.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
You're the one. Yeah, it only makes sense.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
I'm always I get blamed for.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Everything that only makes sense.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
But yeah, I mean it's.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Really just us making fun of horror films.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
Like I watched a lot of horror films, and I
hate watching horror films that try to make me take
them serious.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
And it's like, come on, man, it's hard to make
a really scary one too, because some of it does
get a little But I want to say, when I
was a lot of people watch centers that aren't really
into horrors, right, And I kind of could tell because
it's always the rules. There's certain rules that you follow
in horror movies, like you know, when you invite them
in the house, you know certain things. But people who
don't normally watch that are like, oh my god, I

(21:46):
can't believe this is happening. But I could kind of
follow along. I always try to prepare, like if something happens.
I was in Saint Thomas and the beds started shaking
in the middle.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Of the night.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
I thought I was getting Old Thomas. Well, I mean
were there for the same time as Carnival Mano was
staying above me. I thought it was him, like doing something,
and I thought my bed was shaking because he was
doing too much, you know, in another room. It turns
out there was actually earthquake, and so I was watching

(22:16):
a horror movie. I fell asleep and I thought I
was getting possessed, and so I was trying to follow
the rules of what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 6 (22:23):
Like have you have you ever had one of those
dreams like that though, like a dream where you felt
trapped and you can't get up.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Yes, that's sleep.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Sleep that's a real thing. But they dreaming but it's
real life.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
But that's what I'm saying. Like that to me, that's
kind of frightening.

Speaker 6 (22:40):
And the way like that's like which it's interesting with
like Nightmare on Amstreet kind of like plays into that.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Ys you fall asleep because you can't avoid that.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
And he was like, you know, the first Nightmare on
M Street a couple, the first couple even though it's
funny because I rewatched a bunch of stuff, you know,
when I was getting ready for this movie. Okay, research
because you just kind of wanted you have you don't
have to, but like I wanted to, like because I'm
laughing at stuff of thisting because I'm like, is this
stuff still scary to me?

Speaker 2 (23:07):
You know?

Speaker 6 (23:08):
And like that's a great example. And somebody kind of
played into our movie. Like it's certain music cues that
I can Like Nightmare Mstry had the same music cue
that pretty much saw you something bad was about to happen, right, yes,
every single time, you know, Children of.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
The Corn had that, they had a little song.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
It was like that shall not the music will really
make make the horror feel even more prevalent.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
That's one. Two Faddy's coming for you.

Speaker 6 (23:34):
But that's what makes it funny to like if you
lean it to that with and you add like you
you almost once again, I tell people like this, I'm
making fun of horror films.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Right, yes, but are there it is scary too write
at the same a little bit.

Speaker 6 (23:48):
I guess maybe, But for me it takes a lot
for me to be scared though. Right, It's just it's
I like what we do have more than scariest.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Okay, okay, Now, look, we have this little game we
do call from the feed and we're gonna talk about
some things that are happening online and we want to
see if you agree or disagree. Okay, all right, So
I'll start with mine, and this is this woman I miss.

Speaker 7 (24:17):
Things that a woman can do is withhold intimacy. One
of the things my mother has always said, if that
man taps on your shoulder, roll over, because if you
are not giving him sex, there's only but so long
he will hold out. Even a good man, there's only
but so long he will hold out. And I'm not
talking about if you're holding out because you just had
a baby, or you're holding out because you just had
a surgery or you're sick. If you are a healthy

(24:39):
person and you are holding out on your husband, you
are essentially handing him the keys to somebody else's door.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Okay, I agree, See you're problematic.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
What do you think, little.

Speaker 6 (24:53):
L That depends on where you at in life. I
mean I'm being honest, Like for me, that's not like.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
I know, and if most.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
Guys gonna hear this, like yeah, okay, living real, but
that's not a deal breaking of me just because I
once I got rid of my thirst like just being
thirsty because I feel like I could hold back.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
So we both have to be doing that.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
Okay, let them know you you know you fine.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Well this exactly. I remember the first time I pulled that.

Speaker 6 (25:21):
I was on book just before the della, but I
was on one of those bad trips, one of the
one of the yeah whatever, and we got it to
this argument, right and she was like, you know, after
well arguing, she was like yo, she was like started
kissing on me. I'm like, get your damn hands off me.
It's my body and I don't want to do this.
And I like stormed out the room and I was
halfway down the hallway like.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
It was what did the hell I just do? But
that was what I like.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
You know, you go to therapy and you start start
having these conversations about like that, it's be nice to
take ownership.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
What does that look like to take ownership of your
own body?

Speaker 1 (25:52):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (25:53):
As a man, I was like, and she didn't know
what to do with that.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
She was like, I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
Yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Really did that before we have my robot was walking
bell the hole. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
I think we assume men always wanted to Yeah, and
some people, some men are so I'm going to use
the word a buzzword, toxic, but they enjoy getting into
an argument having sex. You gotta make up, Like some
guys enjoy like let's fight and then let's have sex.
Some guys like that.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
I think it's deeper too than what we think too,
Like as far as like, you know, a lot of
guys are affected because you know, when you're growing up,
specially in our time, it's like yo, she gonna give
you some then you even if you're ready or not.
It was never if you're ready enough for a young man,
if she.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Yees, like for real. So there's a lot of guys
who like a lot of cats. I know that they
were older women.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
And somebody called my shoulder the other day and said,
he said, but his teacher when he was thirteen, and
that was like his you know, secret that he wanted
to tell. But he was isn't mad about it.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
He was, but he.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Don't realize how Proby had affected him though.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
As like you just got a trophy, you just won
something as a man. As a boy, it's like, oh,
you became a man now, when to your point, it
could affect you.

Speaker 6 (27:14):
You watch movies like Antoine Fisher, like it dives into
that a bit because you know the adopted family, like
the sister was like the daughter was kind of messing
with him when he was young, and he ain't really
know what that was like.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
It's it's interesting.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Most people don't like talking about that, but it's like
I do believe in Like, you know, I got my
sons like yo, I think if they I think, if
it's just the truth, if more young men respected their
bodies like we're told women to do, I think it'll
changed a.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Lot of things.

Speaker 8 (27:44):
Carlos, what because you said you what I mean, which
part if you hold it up?

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Oh about her? Okay, So I think there's a difference
between holding out and not feeling like it. Holding out
is like purposely not doing something like as revenge, and
I think, but then there's times when you're like, I'm
just not in the mood right now. Because I also
think sometimes men have to do a better job of
getting you in the mood. Yeah, you know what I mean,
because I think women need to warm up more than

(28:21):
men do, and we could be tired, and there's a
difference between you just trying to like stick it in
or you trying to like get me wanting to do it.
And I think that's part of it too.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
I mean I need to warm up too.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
So I just think for women, there's so many things
that go into it, right, because women are more emotional,
because women are more mental, A lot of men are
just like I'm in the mood, whether you're mad, happy side,
whether I'm mad, happy side, let's do it. Women need
to be stimulated. To your point, A lot of times
women might physically not feel like they want to have sex.

(28:58):
They might not be into it.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Right.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
There's so much for a woman that she needs to
be stimulated.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Let me ask you, because just think about it, like,
because you you know, especially when I'm watching the shows
all the time, women be having these discussions when you
start when you meet a man who start recognizing those
same parameters.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Right, what do you feel about that?

Speaker 6 (29:17):
Because a lot of times it feels like a lot
of those guys get pushed back if they say, hey,
I feel the same way because we are known like
y'all just gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
I had it that way, but I don't know, like
I do feel like men are more like have you.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Ever had any but what if what if you meet? Yeah?
But I don't they literally just a man has never
told him no.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
I feel like men also initiate more too.

Speaker 6 (29:43):
Yeah yeah, but think about it from this perspective, right,
and fellas own this, like sometimes you got to tell
these ladies like I'm not just know. It's like they think, hey,
I'm naked, and I will I'm about to give you something,
look at me up.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
I'm like, no, I want more than that. Like I've
seen a bunch of chicks naked.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
Throughout my life of dating and all this stuff, So
what else are you going to give me to stimulate me?

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Also?

Speaker 6 (30:06):
Right, and I think a lot you know, I just
I won't fail us to like own that more because
it makes for it makes better for a relationship because
it's like you can't have a statement like that.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Lady said like, well, I'm gonna just hold out. I
try it because I am too.

Speaker 5 (30:19):
I respect that though, because I think maybe what you're
saying and correct me if I'm wrong, is wanting more
intimacy that's not necessarily like the physical sex part of it,
like turn me all more intimately. And I don't hear
a lot of men talk about that. I feel like
men crave it, but they might not know that's what
it is.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yep, you know.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
I was talking to another comedian earlier. He was telling
me how he was dating a woman. He knew it
wasn't going anywhere, so he didn't care that much. But
I'm like, so, why are you dating her? I just
felt like, what, that's not a waste of time? Like
I can't imagine dating a guy and knowing that it's
not going anywhere.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Because we don't have to think about all that. We
can just be in the moment. If you know it
ain't going nowhere, you can just enjoy this moment.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
But it feels like such a like Look, I know
women who are going like and men too who are
going vacations, but somebody they don't even really like.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
Yeah, I just going by yourself and at least he
admitting to that.

Speaker 6 (31:13):
See that's I think ladies y'all mess up with like
not admitting to like you know this ain't going nowhere.
Enjoy the moment, enjoy what it is, like you notice,
So be okay with that, like you don't it don't
have to be this.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Are we about to make this grand relationship thing?

Speaker 1 (31:26):
But not that is, but to know that there's at
least a potential like where like if you know this
ain't it, then why am I even like Because.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
You're a human being, you just want to entertain it.

Speaker 5 (31:37):
I think it depends on where you're at right because
to your point, both of you makes sense. Like a
woman could sit there and say, hey, I like this guy.
I don't see him as like my husband, but he's
fun to be around right now, that's what I'm looking for.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
And I don't want to be by myself like cool.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
But when you lie to yourself about it and you
know this person's not boyfriend or husband material, and you're
still around and you messing with your own head, that's
when it could become a problem. Because I feel like
women though, because.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
I feel like that's how men end up with like
kids with somebody they should have had a kid with,
because they sleeping with Any time you're sleeping with somebody,
and y'all I know, Carlos, but and they're not using protection,
there's a possibility.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
No love, I don't use me for that. Don't do that.
Don't you do that.

Speaker 6 (32:22):
I mean, I've been there before. But see, I'm gonna
tell you something. One thing I learned from us. You know,
one of those situations is more or less like not
be It's it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
I ain't gonna be that honest, but it is. It is.

Speaker 6 (32:35):
It's like, now understand what my emotions is and how
that was tied into sex. And at the time I didn't.
I didn't know how to deal with whatever emotionally I
was going through. And you think sex would heal it, right,
and it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
That's most time we make a mistake too.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Yeah, that's so that's my point, is like, why am
I wasting my time? Because dating doesn't necessarily mean it's
going out. Usually if you're dating somebody, it's more than
just like going on a date.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
But she is not wasting your time if you know it,
Like if I'm like, yo.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
You're making a conscious decision.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
Yeah, it's like, yeah, I know, I even know what
the consequences is for real, because I'm really like, man,
I'm making this choice.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Sometimes you got to wear the condom. Yeah, just so
she can't start acting different, like, nah, I ain't gonna
bless her like that.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
I'm not gonna bless her like if you wear a
condoms somewhere, would still act different though.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
They don't really trip too much over condom.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
What if she said I will? What if what if
she says, yes, I perform her, but I need you
to wear a condom.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
That's a prostitute. I'm leaving. I'm no longer interested. That's
a prostitute. Who does that?

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Save sex for everything?

Speaker 2 (33:49):
You can't kiss me?

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I feel like, yeah, I feel like you said you
were a kisser last time. I mean, you know you
just say that. Let me give you the next one.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Just delete all your notes on me. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Okay, Oh this was fun. So now this guy went
on social media. I want to see what y'all think
about this, and here's what he said, Ladies.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
I'm looking for a plus one to come with me
to this wedding in Portugal. I'm taking all applications. I'm
supposed to go on my expert.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
You guys know how that's going to okay. So he's
looking for applications. He wants a girl to coming him
to Portugal. He's going to a wedding and him and
his ex broke up, so he's taking all the He's like,
if anybody wants to go, let me know. And when
I tell you, I see a lot of women I
know in the comments like take me, I'll go.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Are you serious?

Speaker 1 (34:39):
Let me show you I'm dead?

Speaker 2 (34:40):
You know somebody?

Speaker 1 (34:41):
These people do less in the comments. So can you imagine?
And you know, fortunately for you, little bro, you're out
of this phase. But can you imagine like your first
date with somebody being like a trip to Portugal who
you've never met before, but women are in the car
missing Okay?

Speaker 2 (35:00):
That part, yeah, all right?

Speaker 6 (35:02):
That that don't make anything like this is what's going on.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
Funny thing is I'm already going to be in Portugal
and he gonna.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
Take her to the wind that's different, and she's gonna
get drunk and show her ass and embarrassed the hell
out of him. And he's probably gonna be like, Yo,
what's up with his chick? And like, man, I got
out the comments.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
But sometimes that's how the best relationships.

Speaker 6 (35:22):
Happen, by somebody saying, Hey, I'm walking down the street.
I'm recording this with my phone. My expro cup would
be he who would have come to Portugal and sound
real desperate.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
Do you think he was saying it to kind of
get out his ACX and make her like a little upset.
I could see him finding somebody in the comments and
really going with something.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Because it could be like somebody he like, there's people
in these comments who we know like that are public people.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
I think the women that he really wanted to ask
like they probably would respect it more if he just
asked them, as opposed to making a mass post.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Yeah, it's kind of.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
I mean there's so many shows though on TV where
people are just going on there supposedly looking for love.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
It's also news stories of missing people that I don't know.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Yeah, that's crazy to even.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Be like, yeah, I'm damn, but I mean, who do
you lady?

Speaker 1 (36:18):
But isn't that too about any Like people go on
dating apps to date people and you know people. Honestly,
social media is where people are meeting each other nowadays,
more than out and about.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
Do you think you can vet somebody? Do you think
it's because you can vet somebody more off of their
social media versus on a dating app.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
I think it's easier, like people are on social media already.
Some people don't want to go on a dating app
because some people are embarrassed by it. Steff, Well, it's.

Speaker 6 (36:41):
Dating apps that do both that lead like when you
click on ay thing, like when you do like Raya.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Raya has it where you can go to their Instagram
and look at everything. So it's kind of both.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
So you were before.

Speaker 5 (36:53):
I really like that Instagram Ria was crazy.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Can you send him an invite?

Speaker 2 (36:58):
I've never been on it.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
I would love for you to be on Riya and
and Riya got like depending on what you're looking for.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
It's it's it's interesting. I met some.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
Yeah, I'm not sistering myself. I'm just trying to make
sure I'll say that you're crazy.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
But like exactly, I can say whatever I wanted to.

Speaker 6 (37:22):
I met a lot of models on there and actresses,
but then I was also on the streets, so I
was doing both.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Yeah, you wore booked the busy.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
I was out sometimes hollering somebody, wait a minute, did
we talking Ryan?

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Now, there's a lot of celebrities on Rio. I had
no but Jordan, who does the show, but she's not
here today. She was on Riya and so she would
always tell me who was on there, and then I
had to send.

Speaker 5 (37:45):
It no because of that we didn't.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
Talk about on the show. She would just tell me like,
oh girl, why is this person on here? This person?
As a matter of fact, we had a guest on
the show and they had spoken on Riya and I
think they hadn't gone on a date yet and they
ended up going on the day after.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
How it go?

Speaker 1 (38:01):
I don't think it went anymore.

Speaker 6 (38:02):
I mean I did a dating service, like right before
I met another I did one of those like I
don't know why, I just filled it out because I'll
be watching those shows million dollars, you know, matchmaker. Yeah,
and so I think they had like hit me up
and I was like why not? And I actually me
and me and Shorty dated for a minute, like it
was kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
But matter on one of those like what they like
the matchmaker hook you up?

Speaker 1 (38:26):
So that really does work, you think, like yeah, but.

Speaker 6 (38:28):
You know, but you can get real specific at to
that too, because that's what it was like. And it's
funny because after dating hers, when I knew I was
closer to like, I was in the zone of like, okay,
I'm ready to really settle down.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Why didn't that work out?

Speaker 2 (38:42):
You know some.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
Once again, like I'm a man of faith. So it
was like she was kind of like an Instagram faith person.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
She was like, oh, you really you really be praying?

Speaker 6 (38:56):
Like yeah, I thought I was like you thought it
was just a.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
Really yeah yeah, like nah, this is what it is.
So that was one of the things.

Speaker 6 (39:09):
She might be the only woman I've kind of met
when we don't even like I've been I'm cool.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
With everybody I used to mess with.

Speaker 6 (39:15):
Mostly She's the only one that was really like, I
don't know if she was really upset about that.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
Would you invite any of the people you used to
deal with to your wedding when you have like a celebration,
Is there anybody you're that cool with?

Speaker 2 (39:28):
I mean, damn, I always.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
See next Carlos looking around like.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
No, I'm cool once again, like you know, no, I
ain't doing that but you know, just say no, man, no, no.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Have you let me ask you this? How important is it?
Like let's just say you dated somebody like ten years ago,
but now you all are cool. Maybe it's a work
relationship still where you guys do things together. Is it
important for you to tell somebody that you're seeing that
you know?

Speaker 3 (40:02):
No, no, if we if like that's the grown that's
the grown version of this, and.

Speaker 6 (40:07):
Maybe it's it's the it's the Chicago play of it.
It's like, man, like if I this think about it,
I'll tell fe listens all the time.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
Like for me because I didn't lie while dating.

Speaker 6 (40:16):
It's like we don't have no reason to do that,
Like there's no reason to be like you know because
you know how you hear some women like I don't
want to be in the room if you it's like, fam,
I ain't nobody, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
But just a big deal.

Speaker 5 (40:31):
Though, Yeah, he said sure I was in a relationship.
And he went through my phone. That's one of that already,
Like he went through my phone because he wanted to
quote unquote see if I was who.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
I said I was.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
Yes, he went through your phone, but behind my back
on what.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Difference would it have made if you was there.

Speaker 5 (40:58):
I've I'm in the industry, right, I'm in a music industry.
I'm a producer, so a music producer, so I've been
around people who are prominent in the industry. And he
would see people that I was like casually just friends
with texting or like people affiliated to me on social
and he'll be like, did you sleep with him? Did
you sleep with them?

Speaker 2 (41:16):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (41:17):
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (41:17):
Yeah, And then it put me in a position where like,
am I gonna lie to you and be a liar
or am I gonna be honest and keep it real?
And either side that I would have chose with a
backfired on me.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
You can't keep it like.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
After that, it's like, I'll tell you, but I'm good.

Speaker 5 (41:34):
I did, but and then it ultimately backfired on me,
and I was like, well.

Speaker 6 (41:37):
It ain't backfired if you're saying, hey, I'm gonna tell you,
but I'm good, Like I don't want to be with
you because you're already doing too much.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Yeah, nothing is gonna happen here is gonna help anything.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
The end.

Speaker 5 (41:49):
Definitely was bothered by someone that I used to date
in the past that I wasn't talking to. I think
it was an ego thing.

Speaker 4 (41:55):
Yeah, man, yeah, you went through your phone and you
found out y'all, wouldn't they and you just let.

Speaker 5 (42:00):
Him hit Well, we were dating before I met him. No, no, no,
we were dating before.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
They dated in the past.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
We dated in the past, which was an issue for
me because I'm like, I don't talk to this person.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
I don't know the past now it's like a friendship ship.

Speaker 5 (42:15):
No, we weren't even talking, like I respected him enough
where I wasn't friends or talking to people.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
I used to date because just kind of have the
fact that she dated somebody before. He probably was like insecure.
That's like an insecurity right, who might have been a fan?

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Like that.

Speaker 5 (42:41):
Was tough because like, I'm living my truth something that
happened in the past that I'm not talking to this
person again, like wasn't talking to them or I think
it was just who the person was that But.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Father, you, Carlos, if you dated somebody and say she
dated like a you know, famous person before you, and
would it bother you?

Speaker 5 (43:04):
No, would you look at her differently? Would you look
at her differently?

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Though?

Speaker 5 (43:08):
Because I think that's the thing. If you're honest about
your past. You get judged if you lie, you're a liar.

Speaker 4 (43:14):
We all we all get past people in these women's
past who are way worse than celebrities.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
Would you rather not know if she dated somebody?

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Yeah, like if she dated somebody, if it's not relevant
it was in the past, because you said you guys
said you wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Tell, right, No, I did say that.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
I know you said no, it's not necessarily I'm.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
Saying it's two things, right, it could we can know
if say it.

Speaker 6 (43:37):
Comes up right, it's what it is, right, and we've
known stuff whatever she beaty Delbo's that's fine. I don't
care like that now like me diving into checking your
phone and doing all that stuff and being like I
don't if that's my reasoning for that, that's totally different.
Like you know, at the end of the day, like
I say that, me and Carlson was kind of just
talking about this, like I know, like I know my

(43:58):
woman fine, and so I know Cat's gonna be in
her d M.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
I can't get mad at her for somebody d M. Right,
Like what.

Speaker 5 (44:05):
That's gonna that's not so what if you to your
point you kind of mentioned this earlier, What if you
were in a room with her, and she was to say, hey, babe, like,
just to let you know that person I used to
date out of respect for you, for you to know
who's in a room, because I don't.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Need to know tho unless unless, unless this guy do
it too much.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
That's what's okay. Let's just say she was here right now.
And obviously she didn't date Lim. But she was like,
oh when we when you know, you know, ten years ago,
I did date him, would you want to know that now?

Speaker 2 (44:37):
I don't care sitting over there and they whispering.

Speaker 5 (44:45):
But I think for some for some people, I think
it also depends on how the other person's acting. Yes,
you did before, because there's a lot of men who'll
be like, see how I smash this girl I was
with her, and then they start this whole rumor make
her look bad, make you look crazy. So I know
a lot of people would say, instead of me hiding
this from you, let me just tell me tell you.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
It's in the industry for a long time.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
Somebody has a party, it's a lot of people there,
it's beautiful women over there. We don't know who she
dealt with. Shene dealt with somebody in here. So I
feel like if you go down that path, you just
you ask. It's only if it's disrespect, Like if disrespect, if.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
We good, we're good. Like unless something crazy.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
Happened like she did at Carlos, She's like, I need
to know that because he's in the movie.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
And if it was ten years ago, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
I don't think I care.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
That's something that you would want to know because somebody.

Speaker 6 (45:41):
Let me ask you this, because that seems like that's
I think to me, that's possessive in a way.

Speaker 4 (45:46):
If y'all dated ten years ago and it didn't work out, Yeah,
that's not two summers, that's not.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
But it's also somebody you're close with. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
If somebody you're close, But what would change that?

Speaker 4 (45:59):
And what did you do?

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Anything?

Speaker 1 (46:00):
But it's just good. You don't think it's good to know?

Speaker 3 (46:02):
No, but we have to answer what would it do?

Speaker 1 (46:04):
Because what if it came up and she didn't tell you,
Like what if somehow this but the whole picture that
surfaces or somebody online detective is like, oh, you know
she dated Carlos. That's crazy that she You know what
I'm saying, I don't care. Okay, all right, well that's mature.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
Yeah, I'm older too.

Speaker 6 (46:22):
If I'm gonna meet somebody, especially we dating people in
this business, it's like, why would I think, Ain't nobody ran.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Into the not nobody. But I'm saying somebody close to you.
It's different than somebody you don't. You know, you may
casually know the only thing if the only person, if
I dated, if I dated, if I dated Superhead, and
you've known the Superhead, that's just a different.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
Like I'm not supposed to it's not supposed to get
some of that because everybody called that superha.

Speaker 1 (46:50):
Like look, before we move on, I was just talking
to about how it's interesting there are women in the
business who are known for that that have like made
a living off of like men they slept with, like
say Selena Power, like she's always talked about she stepped
at this, but guys still will have no problem.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
She being honest.

Speaker 3 (47:10):
Yeah, because I'm being able to make a choice if
it's that, if.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
That wasn't it, like you know what you expected.

Speaker 4 (47:16):
But it is also a certain category of dudes like
that's their thing. They only want like a chick who's
been with somebody else. Before that's so interesting they like
chased that, you know what I'm saying. But as far
as cutting somebody off because of who they used to
do I've dealt with, we're.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
Not cutting them off saying I've dealt with.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Some women who dealt with some famous dudes, and it.

Speaker 5 (47:37):
Just I think if there's disrespect there, right, Like, if
you're still talking and flirting and you with me, then
we're going to have a problem. But if y'all not
talking and seeing each other, like.

Speaker 6 (47:46):
But that's the grown part about it too, Like, then
guess what, I'm breaking up with you because I don't
want to deal with that.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Yeah, if that's how you move.

Speaker 6 (47:54):
Cool, do you think like that's That's what I was
saying earlier about like being when you're getting this much
to a place of relationship, you're just like, we don't
have to do this. Let me ask you this, what
if it's like a lot of famous dudes, if you
start doing averages like the average chicks, she ain't gonna
meet a whole lot.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
Of famous dudes, but like everybody you met with you
used to deal with.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
Famous and I.

Speaker 4 (48:22):
Mean that ain't stop Kim, right, Wait what I just said,
Kim Kim has like these very yeah and people still yeah.

Speaker 5 (48:31):
But also it depends speaking on Kim, like she's in
an industry where she's going to meet people that are
at her caliber, right, Like she's around artists and celebrities,
so that's who she's really dating. I think like for
some women, for example, they might not be around athletes
all the time, are artists, so they're not in that space.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Is a great example of you sell her kind of mixing.

Speaker 5 (48:53):
Match yeah, diver actor.

Speaker 3 (49:01):
Baseball players, not like.

Speaker 1 (49:05):
I just like who I like.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
That's why I look at it.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
That's the biggest flex for a woman is to date
who they like, because sometimes women are dating for survival,
like who can make me be stable?

Speaker 2 (49:17):
You know?

Speaker 1 (49:17):
And I've heard that. I heard women say I want
to have enough money to date who I like like,
not who I have.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
To That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Have you ever been a sugar daddy? Not even the least?

Speaker 2 (49:27):
Like I mean, I've done some outstanding.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
Things, Like what's an outstanding thing? I want to see
the caliber of outstanding?

Speaker 5 (49:37):
Oh, okay, that's generous.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Took it to zero, that's generous. Nice little trips, nice trips.
I don't make you a sugar dad.

Speaker 5 (49:46):
Makes you generous.

Speaker 1 (49:49):
Yeah they are.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
I didn't have to do them.

Speaker 5 (49:53):
But are there levels?

Speaker 2 (49:55):
Absolutely? You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (49:57):
Because like if you pay somebody's bill.

Speaker 4 (49:59):
Sugar dad, I'm thinking that you're doing stuff, but you
ain't getting no asks in return. That that's a sugar dad. Yeah,
when I was just being a good man and trying to,
you know, create a bit of like a car.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
Would you buy a car?

Speaker 2 (50:12):
I bought a car.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
See that's that's sugar daddy.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
ISSU.

Speaker 6 (50:16):
But I've done all that like it ain't I don't know.
I don't know if I don't know if I look
at it like this.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
Here too, sugar daddy. But I've never done it with
intention on like in exchange.

Speaker 5 (50:28):
For something generous.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
But I feel like sugar daddies are like that too,
right then it's not.

Speaker 2 (50:33):
An exchange, sugar daddy. They trying to buy the affection.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
Also, sugar daddies are older, and I feel like they
have to be younger.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
You can't. I ain't your sugar daddy. We the same age.
But don't think that it's sugar friends.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
I'm saving the old I get I will.

Speaker 5 (50:48):
So is this something you wouldn't do? Like that's like
sugar daddy. Is that you're like, nah, I won't go
to that farm. Cool, I'll buy a car.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
But that's it woman, Yeah, I'm buying it ain't gonna
be a range role and no ship like that like.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
A practical card, something to get you to get you
to work and get you back home.

Speaker 5 (51:13):
Door dash.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Was a camera.

Speaker 1 (51:18):
I'm not mad at that. And have you ever been
taking care of by a woman?

Speaker 2 (51:26):
Yes? As a stand up crime under?

Speaker 1 (51:29):
Did you enjoy it?

Speaker 2 (51:30):
Absolutely? Tell us.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
I want to hear more about it.

Speaker 2 (51:32):
Funny, Yeah I had to. She had that check.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
Was she fired though?

Speaker 4 (51:38):
Like?

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Was she fly at least? Or was it just or
were you yes? She was okay?

Speaker 2 (51:43):
She had that chick.

Speaker 4 (51:44):
I used to have a bit about uh like she
had a couple of Have you ever had somebody got
fed up with your like because I remember you know
you do stand up and you ain't making money, but
you're happy all the time.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
That woman going to work every day she come home.

Speaker 6 (51:57):
It's like a living room for the comics, writing jokes.
She like you to having a good time.

Speaker 2 (52:03):
She broke up with me. She's like, look, I believe
in you and you're gonna be great, but you gotta go.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
Damn, you're gonna be You're gonna be doing great things.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
Sometimes putting you in the corner like that is what
makes you.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
It did.

Speaker 4 (52:15):
Honestly, that took me to another level actually after that,
because she was she was right, but at.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
The same time, like give it a few more months, I'm.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
About to be all because I was working still.

Speaker 6 (52:24):
But it wasn't like you know what's funny, like how
you have people just sitting around. I just it just
felt like she was irritated by the happiness of me
doing what I love to do.

Speaker 3 (52:33):
But it's like, fam, if you wait a little bit,
you won't have to work again.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
So you wasn't paying no bills or nothing. Really not
for real now, okay.

Speaker 6 (52:40):
But I wasn't there yet, but I was the work
ethic was it just didn't match the money yet.

Speaker 5 (52:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
I wonder if she did she ever regret it later?

Speaker 6 (52:50):
Like yes, no, no, I actually I think I became
the ass so because I knew that she broke up
with me because of that, and so like when I
knew she was like spending the block again trying to
it was just funny to me.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
It was like, did you try to like bring it
back in just to dump her. You know, guys do stuff.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Like that, I think immature wise. Yeah, yeah you did
do it.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
I knew it.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
Yeah, but it was but you know, it is what
it is. But it was like, yeah, you should have
just waited. That's the best.

Speaker 5 (53:21):
But do you think that. Do you think there's a
world where people really do get tired of waiting and
that's justified because the other side of it, you're like.

Speaker 6 (53:29):
You see them keep making choices like that, and it
makes some bad choices. Well later on you're like, she's
just a bad diss. You don't know how to read
what work is and what the difference is, because.

Speaker 5 (53:39):
If you're working, that makes sense. But if you have
a dream, but you're sitting on a couch dream Because I.

Speaker 6 (53:44):
Mean, if you met me at the spot because I
got to stand in ovation, you assume because I got
to stand in ovation that I was.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
I have money on your way, but I was on
my way. I just had a bridge yet.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Okay, it's the worst, but you know it. Probably she
was working coming home.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
You over there, get that, But if you know that's
what it is.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
I think once again, people think things happen overnight.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
No, I agree with that.

Speaker 4 (54:07):
I understand that, but you got to know the difference
between you. It literally is a You could tell the
difference between somebody who has the work ethic and they're
waiting on some things. Like I really was a workaholic
at the same time, I just didn't the money didn't
match yet.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
Okay, do you feel like you were doing things though,
like because financially you weren't providing other things to be
supportive to her too? Because I also think that's important,
right am. I just a workaholic working all the time,
and I need it felt like I need a roof
over my head.

Speaker 2 (54:36):
Nah.

Speaker 6 (54:37):
We laughed a lot, We enjoyed each other it really, honestly,
I'm telling you, out of all the women I dealt with,
I'm like, you really definitely made a mistake.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
You was right there, family.

Speaker 6 (54:48):
Like you You truly at least could have got a
baby out of me.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
You know you really, you really dropped the ball.

Speaker 4 (54:55):
Yeah, I see, that's the worst time when she's dealing
with them famous niggas, When you ain't got it, you
just gotta kind of shut the fuck.

Speaker 1 (55:02):
Up, Like, well, that's above me.

Speaker 5 (55:05):
You said that. You guys laughed a lot so both
of you. Do you feel like, as a comedian, like
doing comedy, is it better to be with someone who's
also like within the same space, who's just as funny.

Speaker 6 (55:16):
Oh she was not a comic, but she was to
this day the funniest woman I've ever dated.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
She was so sarcastic.

Speaker 6 (55:23):
So she would tell these stories and I know she
was serious, and we'd be just I'll be in tears laughing, like, Yo,
you fucking funny?

Speaker 1 (55:29):
What about you, Carlos?

Speaker 2 (55:31):
I love me a little silly, but I don't want
a comedian.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
No, You've been there, done that. What's the problem with that? Though?
If you you know.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
Man, you don't want to be nobody's material.

Speaker 6 (55:44):
Oh, it's a lot to that too, because it's dad
is also like positioning, you know what I'm saying, Like
if you don't rock simity, Yeah, it's really and then
you got some cats that won't look out for them
because of who they associated.

Speaker 2 (55:58):
It's kind of crazy, man.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
Yeah, that comedy world is vicious, like people don't even understand. Yeah,
how tough it is. And then I could imagine like
dating somebody who's not on that level of yours as
a comic would want you to like put them in like.

Speaker 4 (56:13):
Why can't they start to resent you? Like you feeling
like you should be able to.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
Right and the young girl her girls be like, why
you're not helping you?

Speaker 4 (56:21):
I mean, I mean it works both ways because you
got a lot of female comics who go through that
like they have maybe they have more position than the
guy there with and the guy's like, yo, you need
to you.

Speaker 2 (56:31):
Know what, what's up?

Speaker 6 (56:32):
It's like, you know, it's it's it's really interesting, like
those are usual to those I remember dating if I
dated a few comedians over time, I guess, but it
was fun in the beginning, and then it just it
couldn't be a real relationship.

Speaker 2 (56:47):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Why do you say it couldn't be a real relationship.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
Because it's too many It was too many factors.

Speaker 4 (56:53):
Man was like crazy, like crazy because it's already competitive.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
You got the same I'm competing with her.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
It's kind of crazy.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
And then it's hard to critique somebody who does what
you do to like, if they're asking your opinion and
you give your honest opinion, is that hard?

Speaker 2 (57:11):
What if you're overhelping them and they don't credit you
for that?

Speaker 4 (57:13):
You become a crutch. Yeah, and then when it don't
work out, it's your fault. And then when they do
work out, they did it by themself. It's a crazy Yeah,
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
Is it good for you now being out the mix
and like, you know, being married again and kind of
are you enjoying this better? You think? More productive?

Speaker 6 (57:30):
I love this part of my life. I'm in the
chill wisdom. You know, this is just where I'm but
I had to get to this place. I'm just happy
to be. I'm just chilling, you know. I love like
I'm more of a homebody than I ever.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
Been and you know, nothing like loving to go home.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
But she got a lot of energy, so I have
to figure out to balance that too.

Speaker 5 (57:51):
And then you have what you said, like seven kids
come by, so yeah.

Speaker 4 (57:55):
A teenagers, a couple growing up.

Speaker 1 (58:00):
Yeah, what does Carlos ever ask for advice? Life?

Speaker 2 (58:08):
My life? I will ruin it now.

Speaker 5 (58:10):
I see, what's one piece of advice you will give him?

Speaker 2 (58:13):
No?

Speaker 1 (58:13):
For real, like, listen, even though he's not asking.

Speaker 6 (58:15):
What you know, you know, somebody, I don't have any
for Carlos. I feel like Carlos truly like this for
any adult, not even just man or like. It's like
be comfortable in your own skin, like and you'll do
things when you're ready to. Like he literally says like,
I don't know how Carlos boo, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (58:35):
I don't hear the chicks talking bad about him.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
I don't I send you some links.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (58:43):
Ain't nobody ever to be like man, Carlos did this
because I got front homeboys who females go out they
way to let you know they ain't ship.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
But see that's just let you know the like the
kind of dude that I am. I don't never rebutt it.

Speaker 1 (58:54):
I just take the blame he does, he does.

Speaker 4 (58:56):
I don't never say nothing bad to destroy these people's care,
becus whatever.

Speaker 2 (59:01):
Delusion they're living in.

Speaker 4 (59:02):
Like, and I'll be the villain in your story because
you're a clown in mind.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Oh god, Carlos, if you could continue yourself, what are
some things you feel like you do need to.

Speaker 3 (59:12):
Work on.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
About delivery?

Speaker 1 (59:16):
Okay, got it, that's fair.

Speaker 2 (59:17):
I have to be a little more considerate.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
Because sometimes it's not what you say is how you
say it.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
Yeah, that's always been.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
And I gotta I have to understand that everybody ain't
gonna think like I think, or feel how I feel,
or even understand.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
The way that I feel. I have to do a better.

Speaker 4 (59:36):
Job of breaking myself down to somebody else. I gotta
cut smaller pieces.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
Okay, yeah, all right, that's fair like that. Yeah, so
we're actively working on that.

Speaker 2 (59:46):
Yeah. Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (59:48):
And your son is how old now, seventeen seventeen? What
advice do you give him about women? Does he have
a girlfriend?

Speaker 4 (59:54):
Like, he does have a girlfriend, Okay, right now he is.
He's going into his senior year and he's dating a
girl who just graduated. Okay, she's going to her first
year of college. I'm just trying to get him to,
you know what, be prepared for anything that may or
may not.

Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
Oh that's that time and of a whole new world.

Speaker 5 (01:00:16):
She's going to new people.

Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
Like they say, she's going to big school. These these
these ain't boys. These young men they got money and
you know how and shit.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
Although everybody was broken college.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
But I mean it's everybody but now yeah, deals and
we're right about that.

Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
Kids.

Speaker 5 (01:00:35):
We having a house. Yeah, nineteen twenty, especially with social
media doing a content creation.

Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Also, it's so open to college. College is like it's
an open space.

Speaker 6 (01:00:45):
Yeah, it's like, hey, man, you know that's why I
love movies. Man, I love just short like, hey, let's
watch this movie.

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
You see.

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
I have another question with your son, like giving him advice,
especially he has a girlfriend that's going to college, he's
going senior year in high school. But how do you
keep him level headed with not because I think there's
a world where some people could give advice where they
give an advice on like negative experiences like look out
for this, like she gonna be meeting new guys and

(01:01:13):
she might whatever. But like there's another side to it
where you don't want him to get jaded off of
the experiences.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
I don't want to ruin his experience.

Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
I try to leave enough room where he can live
his own life and make his own decisions, but give
him the information that he him make an informed decision.

Speaker 6 (01:01:27):
That's that's great parenting. I think it's not about your
controlling and trying to overprotect them. They're gonna have to
experience a.

Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
Lot of this stuff and you want them to be
on alert though, But no, you do.

Speaker 4 (01:01:38):
Want them to be alert, but you want to make
sure like I hope I gave you enough advice where
you can make some because also you're gonna make some
mistakes too, yeah, you know, And I.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
Got a house full of you know girls, So it's
like that's a whole nother.

Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
You just gotta let it for you.

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
And it's like I have some crazy have him called.

Speaker 5 (01:01:54):
Me yeah and kind of be an objected and.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Tell man, I gotta I got a little bit more healing.
And do you know I'm gonna move on?

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
Are you actively? Do you go to like, you know,
real goes to therapy?

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Have you know, I don't what it was wrong with me?
I like it right now, I'm gonna go later. That's real, Yeah,
because I got so I'm trying. That's real. That's real.

Speaker 4 (01:02:15):
I don't want to get fixed right now, and then
I won't be able to do what I need to
do to continue doing what I'm doing.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
You should only go to therapy if you actually has
been so.

Speaker 6 (01:02:24):
Profitable, but you have you enjoy it from my pain,
and so that's what I'm saying. You should only go
to therapy when you actually feel like working on something,
if you like, I don't like functioning like this, like
and that's for me, like even just not drinking and
it's almost three years. I haven't drank, but that's because
I made a decision. I want to be more present
for everything. I feel like I wasn't present for stuff,

(01:02:46):
you know, So it's like, all right, let's just but
that's therapy.

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Like, hey man, miss.

Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
Me, I remember we got drunk in New Orleans before.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
It's kind of time.

Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
There was a whole bunch of us at this bar
in New Orleans and he just happened to come in.
I think d nice was it?

Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
Everybody was a crazy group of people.

Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
It was.

Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
It was a fun time.

Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
I stay tuned.

Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Man, I'm gonna be He keeps talking about it, so
I think he is.

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
He's what.

Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
It's gonna be interesting to see who you end alt with.
I ain't gonna end up. I am gonna select.

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
I don't want to end up be interested who you select?

Speaker 2 (01:03:16):
Select who?

Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
What if you have to say this is who I
see myself with? Like what type of characteristics?

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
I don't know. I want to be completely blown away
and surprised and shocked. I haven't. I'm leaving the door open.
That's the way he impressed me.

Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
We do need this show for you. What would Carlos
is dating show be called huh do you th cars?

Speaker 5 (01:03:40):
And look he's been saying that. Do you feel like
you hard to impress though? Because I feel like there's
some people who would say, I haven't been blown away,
but your expectations might be like it's you might not
find what you looking for.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Because I'm like, anybody who knows me knows that I'm
kind of a simple man. And uh, it's definitely a
lot of room right there, because I've been in a
lot of my relationships. I pursued the relationships, and then
you get in the relationships, and then I felt like
I was doing so much to maintain the relationship without
actually getting anything from the relationship.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Because I was doing so much to try to keep
it going. Okay, I feel like a lot of that
shit was one sided. I really good one though.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
Because I do think men in general feel that, Like
I've dated guys and like maybe you know, if I
get to a birthday, like why no one's ever bought
me a present.

Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
Before, and I'm like, yeah, there's so many guys story,
I think that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
The compliment.

Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
A lot of men are surviving on like three four
compliments a year.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
And don't know what to do with it, like it's
so funny like movies is.

Speaker 6 (01:04:48):
At the screening we had in Atlanta and I was
saying to the crowd like I had to get I
to get used to taking compliments and people showing up
because you don't feel like it's genuine right, and you know, really,
Danella is the one for me to help start like
being comfortable with, you know, or or taking her serious
like oh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
You're actually doing something because you really want to.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
It's not transaction like you want something from me, so
you're doing something for me to try to get that. Yeah,
it's hard to be a man.

Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
It is, Yeah, it is, ain't It ain't as much
as you'll think it's, especially if you like, if you
got some sense, man, it's not.

Speaker 6 (01:05:26):
And then you know, once again, we're going through this
healing space. And it's like sometimes if like women don't.

Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
They like I want you to be healed and this
and that, and then you start doing healing stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
They're like soft as But I don't think y'all know
what it looks.

Speaker 6 (01:05:43):
I know, y'all asking for something and you don't know what,
Like if that brother just starts sitting there crying and
letting that letting it out how he really feels. Some
of y'all don't know what to do with that, and
you got to have somebody that still make you feel like, Okay,
I still feel like a man even when on the phone.

Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Right for sure, you cr no, if a man is crying,
I also feel like, let him cry.

Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
Have a man for doing this.

Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
And it was annoying.

Speaker 2 (01:06:07):
We were in a resty.

Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
It was really whacked up. The rhythm was off because
I also said to him, like, y'all stop banging on
the table in the restaurant, and he ignored me and
kept doing it. And then he also was annoying, Like
you know, even like that.

Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
Feels so East Coast to be East Coast women, we
just feel like, yo, I'm good.

Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
I got on the train and went home.

Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
It could be the smallest inconvenience.

Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
But I've had like I've had men crying in front
of me before, and I've never like been disgusted or
nothing about it or left somebody for that. I also
sometimes don't think if a man is crying, I've never
had a man want to really talk about it. Yeah,
like if you're like, you know, like, what's wrong? Are
you okay? Like then y'all never want to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Let's see.

Speaker 6 (01:07:00):
That's what I'm saying. That's the growth part. Like I like,
I've gotten so comfortable where I met with this part
of my life. Like I've tried to, like, you know,
help my friends in that way. Like I remember my homeboy,
one of my good friends, he had lost his daughter,
and I remember my whole therapy session was about like
I don't know what.

Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
To say to him?

Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
Yeah, and I could tell he don't know what And
then me and my therapist really broke it down. And
before I even left to go home, I called him
in the car like, hey, brother, look, can I say
something to you real quick?

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
Doe?

Speaker 6 (01:07:33):
You can call me anytime you want to. I don't
care if it's quiet on the phone, if you want
to just cry and just be silent or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
I'm here, brouh. You lost your kid, and I didn't.

Speaker 6 (01:07:43):
I think we all had this expectation of strength in
the most craziest situations, right, And I was like, I
didn't know what to say to you, because you know,
all our kids are like each other's kids, so you know.
And I remember like just being on the phone with him,
just you know what I'm saying. It made us closer,
but it's like, dang, I wonder how many other brothers
feel like that a lot, you know what I'm saying.

(01:08:03):
So it's like, but that was my whole literally, my
whole therapy session was how do I talk to my
friend because I know he's hurting, but I don't want
to do this thing anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
But we like kind of just do some Hey, man,
I'm gonna come get you. Man, We're gonna go out.
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
Yeah, for real, it's hard because man, don't Yeah, I
don't know how to really handle that.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
It's a lot, it's but that's what we gotta be.

Speaker 6 (01:08:24):
I think it's interesting because even just like even just
talking to Carlos, and I think it's fascinating because I
really am like, no, this dude really like he's in
a comfortable space with who he is, and you could
tell it's gonna have to be a woman that like
surprisingly blows his mind.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
That's why he probably don't know what it is. I
don't think you do.

Speaker 6 (01:08:43):
I think it happens, you like, because even when I'm
at Danella, it was her saying something to me at
any event I was at this.

Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Event with two other girls.

Speaker 4 (01:08:51):
This guy, you know what I'm saying, just kicking it,
and she said the right thing, and I'm just like,
who is this?

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
That's interesting? And I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
Gee see, somebody would put someone in your life and
you got to also pay attention. Yeah to that too.
And now look at where we are.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Look at where we are, Carlos.

Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
I'm still thinking of a name for your show. It's
gonna happen. What can we call it?

Speaker 5 (01:09:15):
You have to get him a show, you have.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
To, for sure. I think definitely really interesting. You're quite
honest with you, like you should be a bachelor. I
am a bachel but I.

Speaker 6 (01:09:25):
Mean like the show, like they always picking like these
like extra Suited and booted day people.

Speaker 4 (01:09:30):
Yeah, but they're gonna be getting eliminated for ship that
they didn't even know.

Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
I didn't. I don't like nobody that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
Talk loud, Nobody that talks a loud.

Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
Absolutely, that is one of my biggest turnof We actually
have the.

Speaker 5 (01:09:42):
What is it the from the thread from the feet?

Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
What's her from?

Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
Then?

Speaker 5 (01:09:46):
What's the turnoff for you? In early talking stages?

Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Somebody talking loud or like what was yours?

Speaker 2 (01:09:52):
Oh? It's got.

Speaker 6 (01:09:54):
I had quite a few, but my stuff, Yeah, it
was so stupid. I don't like the chick who like
and her group of friends. She the one to get told.

Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
What to do. Oh, she's not a leader, she's a follower.

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
And sometimes you meet the one who is the leader.
But then she like scared to be the leader, and
she let the one who wink the leader kind of
bost her around and then you're like you have to
pull her to the side, like, Yo, you really, come on.
I don't like that. I don't like you.

Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
Ever choose the wrong friend.

Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
Absolutely, I've chosen the wrong friend. Sister I can.

Speaker 4 (01:10:23):
Meet, I could choose the right I choose the friend,
and then her friend be the one like the freak.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
I'm like, oh, how did we get here?

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
I was wild in my single days. I would I
remember having a.

Speaker 6 (01:10:36):
Real logic with these girls they like because I talked
to a couple of them in a click and it
was like, Yo, what y'all want me to do? I
did meet you as a group. I know I pitched one,
but we all still kept hanging out.

Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
That's your fault.

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
That's your fault. They're like, real, you a piece of.

Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Ship and the women. And the thing about women is
women can be very competitive each other and they'll say,
oh if I cam, I'm not and then still be
talking to you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
I don't want you, will talk to you so you
can't get to the one that.

Speaker 5 (01:11:05):
You want one Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
And then they talking you don't know if they're talking
about you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
But that's just interesting about la.

Speaker 6 (01:11:12):
I feel like the friendships ain't genuine time out there,
and you could be talking to a group of girls
in the car and they don't even know that separately
you've been talking to them.

Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
It made them on the same night.

Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
They don't even say nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
If I know a guy tried to talk to one
of my friends, I don't even want to talk to him.
Why because I just don't. I won't feel comfortable with
that this. Yeah I don't, but you don't.

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
But I wasn't married or any of that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
I just I always want to know why.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
But why, because I'll be thinking, like, he liked my friend, so.

Speaker 2 (01:11:43):
What your friend is? Dope? You dope?

Speaker 5 (01:11:45):
I think for me, there's just so many other people
I could date then like.

Speaker 1 (01:11:49):
And then I think sometimes I you know, if my
girl may not like that, especially if they did date.
You know what I'm saying, I don't. I wouldn't want
to date somebody one of my friends. I think men
are different, no, never, and I think men are different
in that aspect than women. I can't like women date guys.
I've dated you know before, and it's never bothered me.

Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
Are you okay with like?

Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
Because you have to be okay with being like this
didn't work out?

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Like this wasn't it? Like this didn't work.

Speaker 6 (01:12:18):
And sometimes other things maybe may work out because I've
had girls say that too.

Speaker 3 (01:12:22):
If you're gonna do this, if y'all gonna do this real,
this better be real.

Speaker 4 (01:12:26):
Don't make the rules be the same thing that happen
to you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
I mean, I'm cool. I just value like my real
friendships like that that I don't want to do anything unnecessarily.
And I also think when a guy dates my friend,
I never look at him that way, like I've always
I'll always look at you as that is such and
such as dude, I'll never look at you it no
matter what the rule.

Speaker 4 (01:12:47):
So say, business, your friend moved to another city and
the other person and both end up in another city,
they're not even the same.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Just because y'all cool. Still, that's that's to me.

Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
I wouldn't even get close enough for a guy to
to me that dated one of my friends, Like we
would never be even talking to each other like that,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (01:13:06):
But what if I just want to know the psyche
of it, because right now, nobody has ever gave me
a true answer to like what really is the problem?

Speaker 5 (01:13:14):
But what's what's the reason to date that person?

Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
Because if I think they dope?

Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
If I say that, if I think they're dope, I
know y'all know each other, But me and you was
never no relationship because this one we say talking, right,
I think if it's talking, that's what I'm saying, Like
maybe relationship that's a little different.

Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
But if I was just went on a couple of
dates with you anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
It's kind of like if I have a friend, I
would never date one of my friends like brothers or something,
because that's always going to be my homegirls brother. I
don't know, I just don't look at it like that,
Especially when you've been around somebody a couple of dates.
I'm always look at you in that light like that's
but it didn't work out.

Speaker 6 (01:13:47):
That's but say that didn't even happen though, because that's
what I'm asking, because I think y'all don't admit to this,
like for real. But it's like you're making this due
your man before he's ever your man, and that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:14:00):
I feel like women women, a lot of women do
that where they they see the future before anything even
amounts to something in real time. Like a lot of
women would be like, that's crazy. Do I see him
as my boyfriend? But I think there's just so many
options that you could choose.

Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
Attracted to somebody who dated one of my friends. I
just can't be attracted to someone who's done that because
I'm always look at them as off limits.

Speaker 3 (01:14:22):
So okay from the beginning, because once again I've done this.

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
If I I think men are different.

Speaker 4 (01:14:28):
At a brunch, right, it's a group of y'all to
brush all, y'all find I come over there.

Speaker 3 (01:14:32):
I'm talking to y'all. You know, shoot the dobos.

Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
You know.

Speaker 6 (01:14:36):
What I used to do is like a couple more hangouts,
like group hangouts.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
It's like, get make a decision before I make a decision.

Speaker 4 (01:14:42):
And did I make a decision. I go on a
date with you and I'm like, that's okay. But then
I'm like, we all been talking though I could go
out with going to date one on one with her.

Speaker 1 (01:14:51):
Now, but that's not a relate. That wasn't like that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
But that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
Sometimes even with that, y'a've made a rude like girl if.

Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
He I mean, it is what if somebody feels like that,
they feel like that, it's here like.

Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
You, like you said, you meet her at brunch and
then she with her girls, and then you get her number.
Now you can't talk to twenty two women, right, So
I have a question.

Speaker 5 (01:15:12):
You you've done that before, right with somebody, both of
you have? Have you ever taken any of them serious? Like,
do you think there's a world where you could date
a girl you didn't really like hur and it wasn't
that serious. You're going to try to date her friend.
Do you look at her friend as somebody that you
could potentially take serious? Or is it always something super casual?
Because I think that's the thing too.

Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
Well, it's not.

Speaker 6 (01:15:32):
It's funny you say that because most of time your
intention is to see if it's gonna be something, But
a lot of times you know right away and so
it's like I should be able to like you know,
it's like.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
It's so interesting because I know I irritate even if they.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Watch it like this motherfucker El's asshole.

Speaker 4 (01:15:49):
But it's like, yeah, like I don't know who I'm
gonna like, like y'all all different, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
Some days I might want this flavor to eat because.

Speaker 2 (01:15:59):
Once again you take them out as a group, which
I've done that before too, and that's the ball of ship. Yeah,
I mean it's it's people look at it how they
look at it.

Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
But it's always like another Like sometimes I was on
my own dating show and nobody knew it. They thought
you got to pay for everything. But if if you
got it, you got it, like you gonna spend it
on something. No, seriously, like I'll pay. Hey, let's go
to brunch.

Speaker 1 (01:16:21):
Bring your twenty two friends, bring your.

Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
Bring twelve year homegirls. I bring one of my boys.
There's always just one. Bring what are you boy? Like
shout out to my boy, Hugh boy.

Speaker 1 (01:16:30):
A lot of time he's like, I'm enjoying this.

Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
What are we going next?

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
Ruan women?

Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
But it is that well you kind.

Speaker 5 (01:16:37):
Of like you know, see how they act who.

Speaker 3 (01:16:40):
Used to fa you know, it's it's really interesting like
doing that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
And I'm so glad you don't got to do none
of this no more.

Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
Well, that's what I'm saying. I got to a point
where I was tired.

Speaker 5 (01:16:48):
It's a lot a lot of like Atlanta wore.

Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
Me out when I was before I wanted to settle down.
I would shoot the movie out there and I just
went on a date the night before and I was
just like saying, what if I run into one in them?

Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
I was done?

Speaker 4 (01:16:59):
Man, you think they're gonna tell me about those those
nice they had with real?

Speaker 2 (01:17:03):
Know they not? They might later they won't.

Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
Well would you tell Carlos if he was out with
a woman and you used to.

Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
If she didn't do anything terrible or anything. Now if
she say she was a good person to just dope,
I wouldn't say anything.

Speaker 1 (01:17:18):
You'd be like nice to me too.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
No, hey, good seeing you. I can say, like I
know her and I don't have.

Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
That should she tell him.

Speaker 2 (01:17:31):
If she want to?

Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
But I'm just saying, like, I wonder what that conversation
is because said you.

Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
Like, how do y'all know each other?

Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
But I was wondering if I'd be like, you know,
we went on a couple of days.

Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
You'd never call a man and ask him about some lady.

Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
What if it did come up, what would that conversation
look like from your perspective, Like, oh, yeah I dated her?
Was nothing okay? Cool?

Speaker 2 (01:17:50):
Yeah I dated. I didn't work out with us.

Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
I'm married now.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
Yeah, I literally made another choice. What you got a fact?
How fine is this lady? That's what I say, this
hypo to you.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
It's all subjective.

Speaker 5 (01:18:05):
I mean, you're not dating somebody. That's not fine.

Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
It's gordy, I'm telling you. Yeah, about to open it up.

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
It gotta be about what's inside of the town.

Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
That's so interesting.

Speaker 6 (01:18:18):
Like I feel like, like, well you like fortying up.
You kind of got to be like, look, man, we've
been out here.

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
Did you have to call the women and be like
I'm getting married?

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Like no, I used to do it. I used to
do I married.

Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
Well, no that's not it's not true. Actually loose because I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:18:32):
Gonna tell you this because well I think you have
to like and even the woman you would have to
understand us.

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
I used to talk about this on stage.

Speaker 6 (01:18:41):
I'm like, if you think I'm a dope, dude, you
think I would just sit at home just reading my Bible,
waiting to meet you. No, I was in these streets
and so by the time I met you and I
was like, yo, I'm good now. It is where you
do have to kind of make a couple of calls.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
But you don't owe the streets nothing. I owe the
ones that was close though.

Speaker 5 (01:18:59):
The ones that was close and who still have hope.

Speaker 2 (01:19:02):
Yeah, you.

Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
Gotta be honest, and it's tough. It was a tough conversation.
They're going to ask you why not there?

Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Yeah, somebody asked you that a couple of them did,
and what. Wow, that's a tough conversation.

Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
It's like, you want to hear the truth.

Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
Now about getting in a relationship is finding out who's
gonna be mad?

Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
You get all those wow.

Speaker 5 (01:19:24):
But there are a lot of people who hold on
to hope, and there are people who stay close to
somebody they used today in hopes of potentially seeing what
happens in the future.

Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
Well, yeah, did they wish you well? Or was anybody mad?

Speaker 4 (01:19:37):
You could you could tell it was disappointment though, Like,
because you know, I think people take it personal when
it's my choice. It ain't got nothing to do with
you if you still think you dope, somebody else gonna
see that.

Speaker 2 (01:19:49):
Yeah, but this is my this is my choice. I'm
glad I came on. Y'all gave me a new energy
for these streets, for.

Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
Really be back outside. What's that?

Speaker 5 (01:19:58):
What's that tell us?

Speaker 1 (01:19:59):
Well some exes, that's you know, still available.

Speaker 2 (01:20:04):
Question. I feel like training.

Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
I can't wait to do that one.

Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
Have you ever had a woman that was whacking bed
and you had to like train her to be better?

Speaker 2 (01:20:18):
If you whack, why would you train her?

Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
Because sometimes different people like different things, and you might
be like.

Speaker 2 (01:20:24):
Because it might not have been whack. It might have
just been whacked me.

Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
That might be the move that you know, driving them crazy,
but it happen might not be just.

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
Yeah that's not and now also you subjective it is.

Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
But I'm saying that's why you got to train somebody
to like, you know, just like we have to sometimes
train men where we like train, Yes, you gotta train
somebody be like.

Speaker 6 (01:20:42):
So if you're not a relationship, say you just sleep
with them and it was just whack, I should like
now I'm usually moving on from that.

Speaker 5 (01:20:50):
It depends on well you like them.

Speaker 1 (01:20:51):
Yeah, you're a director, now you know how to direct
the time. Yeah you can't, but sometimes you have to
let people know. You never have to be like not
like you know, you never have to be like.

Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
I do some.

Speaker 4 (01:21:06):
Corrective teaching, but I'm not about to do a diagram,
and I.

Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
Feel like you would be like what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:21:12):
Especially like it's been some fine chicks who just laid
there like they they know they bad. You can tell
that nobody ever challenged them to do anything else.

Speaker 6 (01:21:21):
It was just yeah, it's like, look luck with that boot.
You see him get married, Like, man, that brother really cool.

Speaker 4 (01:21:28):
Maybe to tell him, look, don't ever do that again.

Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
I don't. I don't know who told you.

Speaker 1 (01:21:36):
They like that, but like, give me an example, please,
that's something somebody did that you didn't like.

Speaker 4 (01:21:41):
Like when she gets on top and she's trying to ride,
and it's just it's just terrible, like like she's scooting
a chill.

Speaker 5 (01:21:49):
That's a terrible rite.

Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
Like some women trying to trick you and make you
think that is better. School is school.

Speaker 4 (01:21:58):
They'll just do it fast to make you think that.
You think just because you're doing it, fans, are you
making that noise? Nothing to stop that?

Speaker 5 (01:22:09):
So weird noises, schooling on top.

Speaker 1 (01:22:12):
Have you got girls be like yo, like slow tell
you to slow down?

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I've gotten excited.

Speaker 1 (01:22:22):
Hurry up up, this is all going to be so
interesting when we.

Speaker 2 (01:22:31):
Nothing's better than that. We ain't supposed to be doing this.

Speaker 1 (01:22:33):
I know they're saying, you guys have to go because
you're but but I do want to say this. Next time,
when you are dating somebody, you got to promise you'll
come up here together because I got questions for her.

Speaker 5 (01:22:42):
Yes, that'll be fine.

Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
Well, let's just hope. Let's hope that. I can't wait
to see who I'm notorious with spending the block?

Speaker 4 (01:22:52):
How about this, I have spent the block, So you
ever spent the block through your old neighborhood, and the
neighborhood ain't even.

Speaker 5 (01:23:03):
Is it one person that you keep spending the block on?

Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
That that black thirty five?

Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (01:23:10):
What was the last time you spend the block?

Speaker 2 (01:23:12):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:23:13):
Baby, maybe maybe that's your person.

Speaker 5 (01:23:17):
It ain't I promise, Well he didn't want to answer that, And.

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
That might be a person if you keep spending the
black though. I'm just saying.

Speaker 4 (01:23:26):
That that block is spent for the last time and
you can't even you know how turned the neighborhood down.
You can't even turn down, but you know, you know
a relationship. Waite takes hell Leon's character and it was
Leela and Shawn's character like they kept when she had
to make a decision to stop and even with him
at the door being like.

Speaker 2 (01:23:47):
And I'm going with something new. Dang, that's a decision. Yeah,
what was it?

Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
She was one that on it? She was when that
got pregnant?

Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
Was it her? No? No, I think it was we do.

Speaker 1 (01:24:00):
Not need you in our lives.

Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
Yeah, I think that was it.

Speaker 3 (01:24:03):
Yeah, he made a real decision.

Speaker 1 (01:24:06):
No way to dad I had.

Speaker 5 (01:24:11):
I want to know what made you not want to
spend a block a thirty six time?

Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
I think you learned after thirty five.

Speaker 1 (01:24:18):
So that's the mass I think should be eighty five
times thirty five.

Speaker 5 (01:24:25):
You know, was it your decision or hurts.

Speaker 1 (01:24:29):
The way you're smiling?

Speaker 2 (01:24:31):
Yeah, I always leave like.

Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
I always have to end the ship because I know
that it's like you said, as bad as I am,
I could be just as good too, So I have
to cut the ship off for the sake of me.

Speaker 1 (01:24:43):
Sometimes why though, Like, what is it? What would make
you say you have to cut it off because you
know you're going to do something, or like, what what
do you mean you have to for this?

Speaker 4 (01:24:53):
It's not That's what I'm trying to get you to
understand for the fifteenth time. I'm not the one doing ship.
It's more, don't even know what you consider ship. I'm
not out here cheating. It's just I'm a real particular way.
Like I have a lot of my own ways that
are kind of particular. But I feel like, as a
hard working man, every man has their own program.

Speaker 2 (01:25:14):
It don't matter who you deal with.

Speaker 4 (01:25:16):
He gonna put up with some ship that I ain't
gonna put up with, and I'm gonna put up with
some ship that he ain't gonna put up with. And
it's unfair for you to go over there and put
up with his program. But then when I tell you
that this is how I run, mind, Now you got
a problem with programs?

Speaker 1 (01:25:29):
What you're not putting up with?

Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
Ship? It's a loan list. And I ain't even gonna
hold you.

Speaker 1 (01:25:34):
What's the top I need, like, give me an example,
like what do you not put up with? Listen, man,
don't you tolerate.

Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
This's a strict program over here? I wouldn't say.

Speaker 3 (01:25:44):
I wouldn't even say that too, because you don't want
nobody because.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
Sometimes somebody listening people love the cheat code.

Speaker 1 (01:25:52):
Boy, Well, I feel like you can't be manipulated.

Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
I really can't. But I ain't going for no bullshit either.

Speaker 4 (01:25:58):
But like I said, in these past couple of years
of dealing with myself, it's been a lot of growth.
It's been a lot of refocusing, and I've made things
important now that may not have been important in the past.

Speaker 2 (01:26:10):
Certain red flags that I'm not ignoring.

Speaker 1 (01:26:12):
It's more questions, ask huh, like, what's a red flag?
At least tell me that.

Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
I'm not dealing with nobody else.

Speaker 4 (01:26:23):
That's selfish if you not, if you don't want to
be the team, I don't want.

Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
A Kobe on my team. Damn. I need something I
could build a dynasty around.

Speaker 4 (01:26:32):
Because I'm inviting you into something that's pretty much already built.
You think that's Kobe, say't you can't be the center
of the franchise.

Speaker 2 (01:26:43):
It's more than one player on this team. As much
as I give, I need to get you get what
I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (01:26:49):
That's honest.

Speaker 4 (01:26:49):
It's a lot of ship that I felt like throughout
the years that I sacrificed for myself that I didn't get.
There's a lot of feelings that I didn't get to
feel because I was too busy please and and given
and what am.

Speaker 2 (01:27:02):
I doing wrong? Let me work on that. And they wasn't.
It wasn't a team environment.

Speaker 1 (01:27:06):
It sounds like you did lose yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:27:08):
No, I didn't. I was comfortable. Like I said, I was.

Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
Comfortable because I had I had the wrong understand She
set you up, man, This is how these works.

Speaker 2 (01:27:22):
With information you didn't.

Speaker 4 (01:27:24):
Know you She asked you a billion questions until you
got to the point where you're like, so you didn't.
I didn't lose myself, but like I said, I had
the wrong information. I grew up in the environment around
men who were telling me that, hey, maybe this the
this how this needs to go. And then once I
got to be an adult and a grown man, and
I started to see that, hey, maybe it's not these people,

(01:27:47):
but I do need different ship from different people I need.

Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
I need ship too.

Speaker 4 (01:27:52):
That was the biggest lesson that I learned in my
previous relationship is.

Speaker 2 (01:27:55):
That I need ship too.

Speaker 4 (01:27:56):
Right Like because they say men are opposed to be
provided but you can't just be a provider and not
get shipped.

Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
But did you say that or you just found that
out after that?

Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Okay, but I ain't lose myself.

Speaker 5 (01:28:10):
What's one thing, yout what's one thing you feel you
need that you didn't get that you feel comfortable saying.

Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
Honesty. I need a little bit more trust. I need
a little more patience.

Speaker 3 (01:28:23):
Okay, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:28:25):
That's what I've discovered in my journeys.

Speaker 8 (01:28:28):
Well, all the ladies out there.

Speaker 5 (01:28:36):
Don't come running at once a few.

Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
This is what the next episode Brunch Date with Carlos,
and we're gonna have a group brunch date and we're gonna, yeah,
see who makes it.

Speaker 2 (01:28:48):
Then you're gonna bring up here you want to host it?

Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
Yeah, I'm a host. I'm a host of brunch Date.

Speaker 2 (01:28:52):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:28:53):
I like it? All right, Well, you guys, thank you
so much for coming through. I know that. I mean,
we did have a chance to talk about so I'm
glad we did do that. I'm excited to see it
in theaters.

Speaker 2 (01:29:03):
That's what's the most important part.

Speaker 1 (01:29:05):
Yeah, it is the most important.

Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
It's very important.

Speaker 4 (01:29:08):
Putting an indie film in theaters is a big deal right,
and and building a relationship directly with the theater owners.
So doing everything with this different format is a big deal.

Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
And congratulations for your directorial debut. You know, we've been
watching you for such a long time and you have
some of the best roles in movies. What's the one
where you got dropped off in the middle of nowhere and.

Speaker 6 (01:29:30):
It was like, oh, the meal, the mill, that's how
heights happens through. Those producers are the ones that caught
me and asked me if I thought about directing the movie,
and that's when they came with me.

Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
I enjoyed that movie, Thank you. I was like, what
is going on? I don't know what was happening when
you're trying to You've had such a great, great like
iconic roles, aren't are you You're in Dr from Detroit?

Speaker 6 (01:29:49):
Yeah, so Detroit is like you yeah July twenty especially
Wait no, I absolutely loved that show.

Speaker 1 (01:29:56):
Yeah, so like for.

Speaker 6 (01:29:57):
Dr to let me come in and she's gonna be
up here? We have it was it was this season
two is gonna be crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
All right, I'm excited. I love a little mystery, all right. Well,
and Carlos, I know you've been building up eighty five
South into even more absolutely so, just give people a
little taste because I know there's a new platform and
