Before we get to Vegas, Monday Night, Raw is coming

(01:16):
to Memphis, Indianapolis, and Sacramento. Triget's available right now at
WWE dot com. And I was looking at our guest
notes for today, and it's been four years since we
last spoke to our guests and a lot of things
have changed since.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Then. Give it up for the greatest.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Women's Royal Rumble winner ever, Live Morgan joining the show.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Thank you, you almost had it. It's the greatest Rumble
winner of all.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Time.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Watch that ever, that counts as all time. But I
will go back and we'll say.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Also just in general, I'm the greatest Roma winner in general,
not the women's, not the men as a whole, Like
I'm the greatest as a whole.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
So we'll just say when it comes to the Royal Rumble,
Live Morgan is the goat there.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
We'll do it that way.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
So let let's talk about that real quick. You just
won the Royal Rumble. Take me back to that exact
moment when it hits you. I'm pointing, I'm going to WrestleMania.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
You know, I wish I was like, I'm pointing and
going to WrestleMania, but I was so in it.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
I was just like lost in the moment. I was
lost in the sauce. I just really took a moment
to kind of just acknowledge what I had just done and.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
To really try to soak it all in and to
remember as much of how I felt and the energy
from the audience as I could. But it was, it
was iconic. It's one of the best moments of my career.
I'm still buzzing off of it. I mean, I'm bragging
about it every moment that I get. So it's been
it's been incredible.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
You and Natty are the only two have competed in
every women's Royal roy But what's the biggest way that
you evolved from that very first one to now?

Speaker 5 (03:05):
Yeah, you know, I've had like every position you could
possibly have in this roma match.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I've started them, I've ended them.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
I've had the fastest elimination time actually by Natty.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Naty eliminated me, I think in like twelve seconds.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
So it's kind of funny how, you know, everything kind
of comes back around because I eliminated her this year.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
But Yeah, it's been It's.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Been awesome to be in every single one. I have
a lot of experience in that match, so to have
every kind of spot in that match to finally winning it,
you know, finally being the bride and no longer arives
me because I've been running round.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Twice as well. It just felt right and it felt
like this year was.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
My year, absolutely, and it was an exciting time, especially
for everybody on social media when it finally had when.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
You won the Royal Rumble.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Now, in that Royal Rumble match and you have to ask,
you did eliminate your friend Raquel, but obviously it goes
on for bigger, better things because there's another opportunity for
her to win a title too. How are things going
right now between you and Raquel?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
You know, we've had a complicated couple of weeks.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
I did eliminate her, but it's because she had a
title opportunity already, and so you know, it was more
opportunities for the judgment day, so she understands that she's
not selfish. We moved on and then we did have
a miscommunication.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
I was back on last week where she.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Stooted me in the face, and that was pretty unfortunate,
but I guess, you know, miscommunications happen.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Miscommunications happened. It's wrestling.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
You know, timing is of super importance, and so these
things happen, and so I will take it as a mistake.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
That it was We are yeah, we're moving on. We
are family at the end of the day, and it's
all that really matters.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Absolutely, And you know, at the end of the day,
you have made this is very known that you have
said if you're not my boss, I don't care about
your criticism, especially when people like to go online and
say something. Who are those voices that you do listen
to and what's the I guess the cold heart truth
that they've told you.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Uh, in this industry, Yeah, you know.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
That's not to say that I don't care about my
supporters or the people that watch the product, but pertaining
to online criticism, yeah, I do not care.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
I don't care what you have to say.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
I care about, you know, obviously, what Tiple h thinks,
my boss, my producers, my peers involved.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
And whomever I'm seeking guidance for or advice for after
the fact, and that could be you know, various people
or no one, you know, But yeah, I just feel like,
you know, like it could be what is that saying,

(06:04):
Like it's could.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Be the yummiest, jessiest, the most you know, delicious peach
in the world, but like there's still someone that doesn't
like peaches, you know, and that's okay.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
And so.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
I don't care, not out of disrespect, I just don't care,
just because I understand that.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Not everyone's gonna like everything, and so I'm okay with that.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Right absolutely, And you know, everybody's got it's kind of like, uh,
here in the South, we say everybody's opinions are like buttholes.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Everyone has one and they think there doesn't stink, right,
but you know.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
But it could stink ork and nothing.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I don't care exactly.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
But the thing is, the thing is.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Everybody's still talking about you. So that's the thing that matters.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Really.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Everybody's still top of mine. Everybody's got to live Morgan
on their mind. Everybody's got to live Morgan in the conversation. Now,
I do want to go back for a second because
a lot of people, including myself, remember when you debuted
and you came out with the riot squad, and you've
kind of done stuff with them.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
You've did singles round. You've done factions and tag teams.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
What is one lesson from being with that Riot Squad
faction that you still use today?

Speaker 5 (07:10):
I mean, we were tagging all across the world, multiple
nights a week. I became a low key kind of
tag team specialist, and I learned from you know, Ruby
and Sarah, who have both been wrestling longer than me,
both had more experience than me, and so they really
took me under their wing and were patient with me

(07:32):
and taught me a ton and I'm so much better
for at the end of the day.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
But honestly, we just had so much fun.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Me and the girls, we just had so so, so
much fun.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
We really became a family. We still keep in touch,
and so I feel like.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
The foundation and the fundamentals of my tag team Pross,
you know, formed from.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
The Riot Squad right absolutely.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
And something cool that's been known to see here as
fans watch WW here recently is ww working with other companies,
because beforehand, we never thought that that would happen.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
But you see WWE.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Working with a Triple A and TNA and other promotions
as well. Is there anyone outside of WW in those
promotions that I just mentioned that you would like to
step in the ring with.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yeah, you know, I'm sure there are people across all
promotions that I'd love to work with, to be in
the ring with.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
But we're on the roads to WrestleMania, baby, and I
have a big decision to make.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
So I'm not really so much focus on anyone else,
especially not anyone that's in my company, especially not anyone
that's not in my direct plane of fire, Jade or Stephanie.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
And so I feel like I can't give.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
You my best answer right now because it hasn't really
been on my radar.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
You know, I understand you got you got bigger things
to worry about, and I exactly exactly is there is
there any which way you're leaning more towards Jade or
Stephanie because I know you've you've kind of gone after both.
Are you just gonna kind of play it cool and
then you're just gonna wait for your moments strike and
be like, yeah, I'll see you in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
I haven't had like that feeling yet, you know, when
you know, you know and you know, and I clearly
don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
And that's why I haven't decided. As I have shown
up everywhere every week.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
So when I when I get that instinct, when I
get that feeling, I know that this is right.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Trust me, you will you will hear about it in
my loud mouth. You will hear about it, of course.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Uh you we might be able to hear about it
at one of the stops coming up Memphis, Indianapolis, Sacramento.
Of course, grab your tickets WWE dot com. Now, one
thing that is awesome is uh Dominic currently the Triple
A Mega Champion.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Any chance that after you get your title between whether
it's you know, Jade or Stephanie, maybe you and dom
go after Triple A Mixed tag titles after you're both champions.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
I think that is holy an option. You know, I
said that twenty twenty six is the year of the
Judgment Day, and so you know, me making a trip
to Triple A and us winning those mixed tag titles.
It doesn't sound like out of the realm of possibilvi.
You know, that just sounds highly likely. I guess we're
gonna have to just wait and see what happens.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Just wait and see what happens. For sure.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Now we're we're coming up towards the end of our
our our chat and we'll always like to have fun
at the end of the interview, and I know that
you're a big game.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
I don't think fun it's been fun.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Do you think it's fun? That that's the question. Do
you think it's been fun? I hope that you're having fun.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
If not, maybe it'll be another four years before we
get you back on the show again. So I know
that you're a big gamer, and I've got to ask,
with you being involved with WW two K and everything else,
what's been the coolest thing that you've gotten to be
a part of behind the scenes with this game that's
coming out soon.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Oh, I think like the voiceover work.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
The voiceover work obviously, I know the storyline, I know
the thread in the game, I know how I'm utilized,
and so Live in two K twenty six is.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Just as messy and obnoxious super Live in real life.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
And so that's been really fun for me to be
involved and to bring with Morgan to life through your
through your TV, through your video game. And so that's
been that's been really, really really cool.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
That's that's exciting. We can't wait to get the game.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
With that being said, of course, you're being a part
of this video game.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Could this lead into something else would maybe potentially bucket
list item being in, like GTA when it finally drops,
or any other video games that you would love to
be a part of.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Yeah, I mean, I'm waiting for GTA. They keep releasing
and they keep pushing me back.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
I'm like saving my big one for GTA because when
I play games, I don't play to like play for
a couple hours, like I'm gonna play until I beat it,
like I'm gonna be.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Up I win.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
And so I haven't played. I'm waiting for two K
and I'm waiting for GTA. I don't know what the
heck I do in GTA, though, I don't know what
I do, and I have to be involved in some
kind of mission.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Right, I don't know what. I don't know what. I
don't know what my responsibility would be in that game.
But I love to be involved, you know. I like
to think of myself as like crafty and sneaky. I
could do some kind of recon work, you know.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, I mean Live Morgan just taking over not only WWE,
but WW two K, g t A, all the video games,
and uh, you know, as we we come up towards
the end of this, I know you're a legit sneaker
head like myself. Early on, you used to wrestle in sneakers,
but now you've gone to kind of more of a
wrestling style shoe. What kind of sparked that switch from

(13:07):
going from you know, sneakers like Jordan's and everything else
to wrestling shoes.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
Yeah, so, like you just said, I have wrestled in
sneakers my own entire career.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
It went from like converse to you know, retro.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Js to custom made Jordan Won sneaker boots, you know,
and then in like twenty nineteen, I believe I got
a makeover, like complete kind of character changed makeover. I
wanted to kind of have nothing from my past presence

(13:44):
in this new iteration of Live Morgan, and so I
decided to get rid of the sneakers and.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
I wrestled in boots for a while.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
But I really didn't like wrestling in boots, honestly, and
especially after wrestling and sneakers for so many years, I
felt like so constructed. So now I were just like
an acic wrestling shoe, amateur wrestling shoe.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
When I put like kick pads over it, and then
a leg cover over that to kind of give it
the aesthetic. But it was really just sad.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
It was just me kind of wanting to be brand new,
and that was getting rid of everything that I loved.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Was there ever a favorite pair of sneakers that you
wore to the ring that you really really love that
you still have in your collection somewhere.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
It's kind of like a I.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Have all of them. I literally have all of them.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
I just went through my shoes actually to make space
like in my in my shoe raps, and I got
rid of like I didn't get rid of them, but
I took away like all my beater pairs, like all
the pairs that I like really wore in the ring
that are so creased, but like I am fence of
my dolls, so like I can't let them go. That
was about like thirteen pairs. I remember seeing the dorm

(14:52):
bocker apes and being the hail like, I don't, I don't.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
I think I wrestled in them once.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
And it was in like New York City and I
had I think Mets inspired.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Wrestling gear and I wore the dorm bocker apes.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
So looking through my Sue Ragen Sin, those I was like, oh, yeah,
you know, just brings back memories.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
But I definitely kept them. They're you know, in storage now,
but there was tons of bears.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Oh, just donate them to WW.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
They'll put them up in like Fanatics World or something
so I could see them. After you win that title,
it'll be on the WrestleMania display everywhere else, And of
course I'll.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Get something up. I don't know why yet.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Though, Well live, I know our time is running short here,
so before we let you go, anything you want to
say to the fans watching or listening to this right now? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (15:41):
Yeah, I want to say that the Judgment Day is
the most iconic successful fashion in fashion in WW history.
I want to say that myself and Dominic are the hottest,
most talked about, most.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Iconic couple w history.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
And I am the most talented, the funniest, the hottest,
the most, the most, the most most, the most most
and the greatest roma.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Winner of all the time. And don't you forget that.
Don't you forget that? And have a big decision to
make the Watchman because I really don't know what I'm
gonna do, but it's gonna be good whatever it is.
