Let's first start with how Week twelve went again. Picks good,
props bad. So we keep flip flopping on this five
(00:45):
and two on the week. That would put me at
exactly five hundred fifty seven and fifty seven on the season.
Penn State, we got minus seven and a half. They
cleared that at Michigan State twenty eight to ten. Ole
Miss did not cover against Florida here thirty four to
twenty four Texas versus Oregon or excuse me, Texas versus
Georgia over did not hit because Texas did not do
(01:08):
their part. Thirty five to ten was a final on
that game. The total was forty nine and a half.
We did get North Texas over forty two and a half.
At UAB, we did get UNC under sixteen and a half.
At wake Forest, twenty to twelve was the final there.
We also got BYU minus three and a half vers
TCU they won forty four to thirteen, and we hit
the hard rock bet of the week for Utah minus
(01:29):
seven and a half. At Bailey they won fifty five
to twenty eight. The props really got me here three
and seven this week, so one game above five hundred
on the props now sixty and fifty nine, so one
game over five hundred for the whole year. But the
touchdowns got me. I've been great at these all year
and they just really got me.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
This week. Didn't get any.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Jonah Coleman was a surprise unavailable for Washington there and
he was on an injury report earlier, but he was
completely taken off, not even probable, so that was a surprise.
So we skipped that one, but the other four I
didn't hit. Haines King didn't get too it didn't get
any first game, he didn't get any against Boston College.
(02:09):
Jeff Simms FIRSUS West Virginia didn't hit Avery Johnson. Somehow
Case State only scored fourteen trade Eds Green didn't get
in the end zumble. We did get the pick from
Josh Hoover. We got a maud Hardy almost had three
hundred rushing yards for Missouri against Mississippi State, or he
did have three hundred, and we also got Ryan Wingo
over fifty eight and a half. The other ones we
(02:30):
missed Reley Brown eighty and a half rushing yards. It
was Jeff Simms had more rushing yards and no touchdowns,
and then Harlan Berry fifty seven and a half. He
was fifty two in Cooper bar Kate forty five. Probably
my worst call seventy and a half was his. But
like I said, thirteen three and seven on the props,
five and two on the picks. So one game over
(02:52):
five hundred on everything. Let's get to the week thirteen
picks here and I have a lot this is you know,
said deeper in the season, we should get better. We
had a good week on picks last week, so we're
going to follow that up with a lot of selections here,
and the first one we're gonna go Washington State at
James Madison under forty two and a half. This one, look,
(03:14):
we have only seen James Madison play one really hard game.
That was against Louisville. They lost that one twenty eight
to fourteen, but the defense was great. They held Louisville
to under three hundred yards. We've also seen Washington State
go on the road and hold some of these really
good teams. They held Virginia to twenty two points and
they held Ole Miss to twenty four. So the defense
(03:34):
for Washington State has stepped up ever since weeks three
and four. They have been outstanding since then, and we're
just going to rely on the defense for them. And
the one tough game we saw James Madison play this
year was against Louisville and their defense held up. So
I don't know if the offense is gonna hold up
for James Madison. I'm predicting it's not. I don't know
(03:55):
if Washington State's going to score at all. Their offense
has been pathetic recently, so don't want to pick aside,
but we're gonna take the under on this one. We're
gonna go Vanderbilt team total over thirty one and a half.
This is one of my favorite bets of the week.
More on this game later. But Vandy, I just don't
really buy this Kentucky streak. Right.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Kentucky's been great recently.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
They beat Auburn, they beat Florida, They beat Florida bad.
They were in it against Texas. This team has been
pretty good. They put up a lot of points against Tennessee.
I just think that you can poke holes in all
those Texas is not as good as we thought. Hugh
Freeze team quit, Auburn quit and he got fired the
next week, and then we saw when them play with
(04:37):
effort and score thirty eight points last week. I also,
I'm just not really buying into Kentucky. So Vandy has
been scoring on everybody. Even when they were losing against Texas,
they didn't quit. They kept fighting to come back in
that game, and they put up thirty one points in
that game as well. So I think against a worst team,
I think they can do this pretty easily. Thirty one
(04:58):
and a half at home should be easy for them
to clear Arkansas. Texas over fifty seven and a half. Look,
I'm just gonna use the same process that took last
week and move it forward this week. I think this
one can hit. Arkansas can score on anybody, and they
can't stop anybody. It's a pretty good indication that Texas
will be able to put up points. Texas has to
(05:18):
win out. There's no margin for air there for them anymore.
I think they do the heavy lifting. Also, Taylor Green
has been taking chances. I believe he's third or fourth
and turnover worthy plays in the country right now. I'm
on quarterbacks. So I just think Texas scores a lot
of points, does most of it, and Arkansas comes in
a little bit later. Utah minus seventeen and a half. First,
(05:40):
Kansas State. We're gonna make sure Dan Peer's playing. He's
going to start. Just no surprise weirdness like we had
with Jonah Coleman because dampid was all the way off
the insured report.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
He might be able to clear this with Bird.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
We saw Kansas State only able to muster fourteen points
against Oklahoma State last week, so you know they just
lost their best wide receiver as well. Kansas State did
and Jase Brown. So I think Utah minus seventeen and
a half. They have just been stomping everyone in recent weeks,
so I think this is just another one of those results.
Pitt at Georgia Tech over sixty and a half in
(06:15):
this game. Look, I just think that in every non
Notre Dame game, Pitt has put up a lot of points.
Georgia Tech is scoring on anybody, right, but their defense,
particularly the last two weeks, has been really bad against
the pass. Pitt is one dimensional in their offense in
that they passed it a sixty five percent clip, but
Georgia Tech is not great against the pass. They don't
(06:36):
rush the passer very well. I think this one is
easily achievable sixty and a half. I think we go
way over this one BYU minus two and a half
at Cincinnati. I just I don't understand why the public
is on Cincinnati here. BYU has been beating everyone in
the Big twelve that isn't Texas Tech and beat down
everybody that isn't Utah or Texas Tech. So they've literally
(06:58):
cleared this two and a half against every other twelve teams.
So I think going on the road at Cincinnati, and
in particular time of possession, Cincinnati is dead last top
fifteen for BYU. I think that just feeds into what
BYU wants to do. When they get a lead, they
can pin their ears back and get after Sowersby. I
just don't think this is a good spot for Cincinnati
right now. BYU still has playoff hopes, so I think
(07:20):
BYU gives maximum effort.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Tough road game.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
We're gonna go North Texas minus eighteen and a half
at Rice and over fifty five and a half. Look,
we're just riding this train. VP is showing closer to
three touchdowns as the the line for North Texas here.
Rice has been bad. North Texas is another team that
still has hope for the playoffs, so I think we're
gonna see their best effort. I think they get almost all,
(07:46):
if not all, of this total. They have been putting
up fifty burgers on a lot of teams and Rice
is not good. Delaware team total under sixteen and a
half at Wake fours. We're just following this trend right
UNC couldn't get to their team total at Wake Forest
last week. I don't think that Delaware is going to
be able to either Delaware has been a decent offensive team,
(08:09):
but obviously playing a much weaker strength to schedule. Going
on the road to wake Forest is a massive challenge
for them. So we're going to take the under sixteen
and a half against one of the better defenses in
the ACC there in wake Forest. Charlotte plus forty three
and a half at Georgia, Kirby Smart is zero to
fifteen against the spread as a thirty eight or more
(08:30):
point favorite, So we're just going to ride the trend
on this one. Trends are not something that I like,
but I love getting forty three and a half points.
And if that can't make the Georgia game interesting, I
don't know what can. We are going to go Michigan
State team total under thirteen and a half at Iowa.
We've talked about this all season. Iowa is a different
(08:50):
team at home. They have no quit and they've played
some really hard games at home. Here they held Penn
State to twenty four, Indiana to twenty organ to eight team.
I think that Michigan State should not be a challenge
this team, as a lot of guys on the injury report.
Road game for them at the end of the season
knowing they're not going to a bowl. I questioned effort
as well for Michigan State. These last two are also
(09:15):
kind of trends. We're just gonna go back, maybe should
I'm playing with fire here going against Colorado again, but
Arizona State's only favored by a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Again.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
I think Colorado has quit. They showed a little fight late,
but once again the injury report is riddled for the
Buffalo's here, and I just don't like their effort of
what we've seen at the end of the year in
Illinois minus seven and a half at Wisconsin. Wisconsin's played
much better football recently and again, no quit in Wisconsin.
And I'm not trying to lose more money. But Illinoi's
(09:48):
offense is good. This is not an offense that is
going to be easily stopped. Their defense is better than
a lot of what Washington has seen, or excuse me,
a lot of way Illinois seen forty and slipped there
Washington and recently. And I'm just not really buying into
the fact that Wisconsin's offense just all of a sudden
has been good better, absolutely, but I think Illinois is
(10:12):
a much better squad than Wisconsin. This year, and I
just think that this line is a little too respectful
to the home field advantage that Wisconsin has here.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Before we get the.
Speaker 2 (10:22):

let's get to the touchdowns. I like these touchdown calls
this week. I liked them last week and they didn't
pan out. But we've hit. We're going to hit a
couple of games that we've talked about already. We're gonna
go Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski versus Michigan State. This dude
(11:05):
at the goal line has been unstoppable this year. This
one seems pretty easy. I think Utah is going to
run up to score against Kansas State. Way Shawn Parker
has scored three games in a row. I think he
can get one here. The running back for Utah South
Carolina quarterback leonori as Sells versus Coastal Carolina. I've been very,
very very critical of South Carolina's offense the entire season.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
It has been bad the whole year.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
But Coastal Carolina is an easy matchup for South Carolina
and the offense has looked way better. Obviously, the first
half that game was a disappointment, but Sellers can easily
score in this game. We're gonna go back to the
well with Haynes King versus Pitt because it's back down
to one touchdown instead of two touchdowns, So easy one
over a half. I think we can get that. Florida
(11:52):
and running back Jayden Bob versus Tennessee. Tennessee's defense is weak.
I think that most opponents are going to score against them,
and I think you know what we've seen from DJ
Lagway is when he turns the ball over. This offense
is miserable. Even in that what that game against Kentucky
when they only scored the one touchdown though it was
Jayden Baugh so seems pretty safe against a weaker defense. Here,
(12:15):
we're gonna go USC quarterback Jade Maieva under two hundred
and forty seven and a half passing yards at Oregon.
This is just respect for the Oregon defense and the
home field advantage here. We also saw, you know, we
saw USC go to Nebraska and struggled. This is the
number one passing defense in the country. I think they're
gonna do a pretty good job of bottling up this
pass game for USC. I'm on Oregon in that game.
(12:37):
Obviously didn't get into my picks, but I do like
the Ducks. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia over one and a
half touch passing touchdowns forards Kentucky again, a big believer
in the offense. We're on the team total over thirty
one and a half for Vandy, and I think, obviously
Diego Pavia plays a massive part in that over one
and a half passing touchdowns for him, and also over
one and a half passing touchdowns for Mason High, the
(13:00):
quarterback for pitt at Georgia Tech. Here, again we're on
the over in this game. I think the passing offense
feeds into what they do well and Georgia Tech doesn't.
We just saw Boston College put up a lot of
passing yards on Georgia Tech as well, and this is
a better offense than that, So I think this is
an easy one. We're gonna go back to Iowa. The
(13:21):
running back Kamari Moulton over ninety two and a half
rushing yards versus Michigan State. He's hit this, I believe
two or three games in a row. Michigan State has
let this the lead running back get to this total
and way more three games in a row as well.
And then two one wide receiver, one one tight end,
one back to the well Ryan Wingo hit for US
last week. Arkansas's defense is not trustable at all. One
(13:44):
hundred and twenty first in scoring, just very bad all
the way around, specifically in the SEC. So he's probable.
So again we've got to make sure he's gonna play.
But he's gonna play. Sixty five and a half receiving
yards first Arkansas. I think that's very doable. And then
Vanderbilt tight end Eli Sowers over sixty five and a
half yards first Kentucky. Another Vanderbilt bet, but I really
(14:05):
like this one. This Eli Stours is going to be
the first tight end off the board, most likely in
the NFL draft. And he's had a massive amount of
targets the last two weeks over Tony targets the last
couple of weeks, and I think they're going to be
able to hit that again against Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
All right, let's get to the hard rock Bet of
the week.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
All Right, the hard rock bet of the week is
going to be Vanderbilt again. I know you're shocked versus
Kentucky minus nine and a half.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Again.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
I've poked holes in this Kentucky win streak. I do
think that compared to the rest of the country, they're
a pretty good team. Kentucky is compared to Vanderbilt, I
don't think they're going to match up very well. Bob
Stoops has these guys playing wishy washy. I've seen them
play some of the worst football I've ever seen in
some very very strong football. Obviously a better team at home,
(16:37):
so this being at Vanderbilt does not do the many favors.
So Vandy minus nine and a half. Just as soon
as it crawled under double digits, I was all over it.
So one of my favorite bets of the week and
the hard rock bet of the week Vanderbilt minus nine
and a half. Just to review everything, We've got a lot.
It's kind of a spraying and prey week, but I
like a lot of these picks. We're going Washington State
(16:58):
at James Madison under forty two and a half. We're
going Vandy team total over thirty one and a half
plus Mandy minus nine and a half first Kentucky Arkansas
Texas over fifty seven and a half, Utah minus seventeen
and a half first k State pitt at Georgia Tech
over sixty and a half BYU minus two and a
half at Cincinnati, North Texas minus eighteen and a half
at Rice, and over fifty five and a half Charlotte
(17:20):
plus forty three and a half at Georgia, Michigan State
team total under thirteen and a half at Iowa Illinois
minus seven and a half at Wisconsin and at Arizona
State minus seven at Colorado. The props, We're going touchdowns
for Mark Kronowski, Wayshawn Parker, Lenora Sellers, Haines King, and
Jade Baugh for the quarterback Jade Mayeva under two hundred
(17:40):
and forty seven and a half passing yards, Diego Pavia
and Mason Heitschel over one and a half passing touchdowns.
Kamara Moulton, the running back for Iowa over ninety two
and a half rushing yards, Ryan Wingo, Texas wide receiver
over sixty five and a half wreckyards and tight end
Elifce tours for Vanderbilt over sixty five and a half
receiving yards.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
That is going to do it for me.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Appreciate everybody hanging out, Good luck in your bets, and
I will see you next week for the last week
of the regular season.
