Speaker 1 (00:02):
All right, and welcome into the Betting Pros College Football Show.
Just two Saturdays remain in the college football regular season,
so it's time to capitalize on what we've learned about
these teams thus far. We'll get you pointed in the
right direction in this episode with our week thirteen early
picks and line movement predictions for the top ten games
on the slate. I'm your host, Seth Wilcock, coming off
(00:24):
another weekend of batting five hundred, and I'm once again
joined by a man who was well about five hundred
this week on his game pick, Scott Bogman. Scotti, how
are you as we're getting down to the wire, my friend.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I mean, I didn't like that loss to Georgia obviously,
and it was really a thorough beat down right, So
Arkansas should be easier to deal with this week, but
they've been playing everybody tough. We'll get to that game
in a little bit and then you know, of course,
the end of the season, A and M gotta win
that one to have it just just shot.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
At the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
So still an outside shot because I know the committee
wants to war them for playing Ohio State week one,
even though it was a loss. But yeah, Florida, Man,
everything comes down to stupid Florida and losing that game.
So but yeah, it was a pretty good week. Five
and two on the picks. My my props were miserable.
I cannot put them together. I can't string together a
(01:16):
solid week on both sides. I feel it really was
the touchdowns, which I've been really good at all year.
The touchdowns I did not get this week. So but
five and two on the pick, so we'll take it.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah, I gotta say I was in all my glory
this weekend being able to finally get access to all
the games once again. Yes, I was at the bar
Friday night Bogs with some buddies. We were watching Clemson
Louisville and I got the news that ESPN YouTube TV
they had come through an agreement. I ordered another round
on the spot, put it on the tab, and we
put an avenue shift that night. So I was very
(01:48):
very happy about that, very very happy. So today's program
does look like this, folks. We will recap all the
week twelve action the betting risers. The betting followers will
also give you an early handy cap for the top
ten games for Week thirteen and as all we shout

maybe one of the most impactful weeks of the year
in terms of rankings, movement and conference standings. On Tuesday,
we had Western Michigan regain control of the MAC with
a seventeen to thirteen win over Ohio. Toledo gets back
(03:13):
into the MAC conversation as well with a win on Wednesday,
twenty four to three over Miami, Ohio. Clemson upsets number
twenty Liutleville twenty nineteen on Friday night. I was having
a good dive during that one, for sure. And also
on Friday, Number eight Oregon taketscare of Minnesota forty two
to thirteen. Number one Ohio State states perfect against UCLA
(03:33):
forty eight to ten. As those Number two Indiana with
a thirty one to seven win over Wisconsin. Number three
Texas A and M has the biggest comeback in program history,
one of the wildest games I've ever seen, beating South
Carolina thirty one to thirty. Number eleven Oklahoma. They upset
Number four Alabama twenty three twenty one. Number five Georgia
they ran away from Texas apologies there bogs thirty five
(03:57):
to ten. We also had number six Texas Tech They
annihilate UCF should have been on that one forty eight
to nine. All miss wins, but fails to cover thirty
four to twenty four over those pesky Florida Gators number
nine Notre Dame. They spoil number twenty two pits Big
Day thirty seven to fifteen. Number twelve BYU blows out
(04:17):
TCU forty four thirteen, number thirteen, Utah smokes Baylor fifty
five twenty eight, number fourteen Miami, Florida. They dog walk
NC State forty one to seven, Number sixteen Georgia Tech.
They come back to beat Boston College thirty six thirty
four and what was a wild one up there with.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Billy o'prishtowns for Haines King, what the hell?
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Nope, not one of them, not this week, but we
did have number seventeen USC They won and they were
a two point conversion away from covering for US Bogs
against number twenty one Iowa, winning twenty six twenty one,
Number eighteen Michigan. They beat Northwestern twenty four to twenty
two on a last second field goal. Number nineteen Virginia.
They end Duke's ACC championship bid thirty four to seventeen,
(04:59):
number twenty three ten Tennessee. They beat New Mexico State
forty two nine. Failed to get to my over though,
and then we all said Navy, who regained control of
the American with a forty one thirty eight upset over
number twenty four South Florida, and then Arizona. They say,
si ya to number twenty five Cincinnat eight thirty to
twenty four bogs A lot of names, a lot of scores,
(05:19):
a lot of impact on the college football standings and
the playoff picture. Who were the betting risers and followers
for you?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
I mean South Carolina. I cannot believe that they blew
this game. They had it in hand. I had bet
on A and M, which I don't like doing, and
it wasn't in my picks, but I put some money
on them just because I thought, South Carolina, this offense
is so bad. I thought this is going to be
the best couple of units that I had ever lost.
Right like that, I had just drowned these units. So
(05:48):
A and M loses and that makes me happy. Nope,
A and M still wins by a point. We had
the cop and the tunnel. That whole thing, too, was
just a Nick harb baby mos mess.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah. Nick Harver had to go to the hospital after game.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
By the way, after his chest and trees, so really yeah,
I think he's fine, but they just you know, he
had to get checked out. But that one was really surprising.
USC I said, I wasn't gonna give up, and they didn't.
But they probably should have lost and not covered, but
they ended up covering.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
I didn't have anything on that game, but I did.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I thought Pitt was gonna play harder, even though Nardoozi
had said, well, this game doesn't matter for the ACC
and all that. I was like, uh huh, you're gonna
let somebody come in and dog walkie.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Well they did.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yeah, they really didn't care about that game, so that
absolutely happened. I was surprised, like I was thinking about
taking Georgia Tech, and then I thought they're on the road,
that one could get weird, and it did.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Still on the road this season Georgia Tech.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, yeah, thankfully they're at home this week. But then Oklahoma.
I thought, remember I picked Oklahoma in this game. I
did not think that they would win straight up. I
thought that this was going to be much closer. But
we knew Bama wasn't playing their best football recently, so
tough loss there, but didn't change any of their outcomes.
Florida has messed with me both ways this year, so
(07:05):
I just I'm done, yep, picking Florida. We had them
in here and we actually got rid of them to
get the JAMU game in here, thank god, because I
don't want to pick against them again, and I would
you have to. They're miserable. Texas was not even in
that game with Georgia. Georgia, like Kirby Smart, is the
best coach in the country, and he's specifically goodness the
perfect decision, perfect decision, you're up, you're up, you're at home,
(07:27):
you have all the momentum.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Take a swing. They can't move the ball anyway.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Texas only scored the touchdown when they had the terrible punt, so, uh,
you know, the offense is just looking bad. BYU boy,
we were all over the BYU and Utah. We were
all over those beatdowns. So that was nice to see.
But you know, I think I think we know what
a lot of these teams are at this point in
the year, and we should. So we got the bulls
(07:52):
coming up here. Everything's gonna fall in line. We're gonna
have a lot of coverage for bowl season for you
as well, So just stick with us where we're getting
down to the nitty gritty here, and I feel like
we know what we have with a lot of these
squads now.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, I feel like the one thing Saturday told me
is like, go with your gut man, because I thought
Oklahoma honestly could win that game straight up against Bama.
I didn't take them just because the numbers didn't tell
me to. And now we're sitting at a point where
Oklahoma is now plus twenty eighty not to make the playoffs,
so they could be in the CFP right now is
what the sportsbooks think. And then at the same time,
(08:28):
I was on BYU early in the week, I said, oh,
maybe the TCU defense, especially against the run, a little
bit better than I gave them credit for and I
pulled off them. So that was a mistake. Notre Dame
after that big win over pit eleven to one. To
miss the playoffs is Notre Dame, so they look like
they're going to be in also first time in the
rankings now this week bogs that we have three G
(08:48):
five teams inside the top twenty five of the AP
rankings this season. Is so excited about that number one
JMU number twenty two North Texas number twenty four to
two lane And interestingly enough, I would not bet that.
I think this is a way of an overreach. But
North Texas right now minus money to make the CFP
at most books right now.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Wow, we need a play in game between these these
uh G six, G five teams.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
That would be fun.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
But uh yeah, it's uh it's getting tight. Like like
you said, we're getting out of the nitty gritty. So
North Texas putting up big totals recently, and don't they
covered for me easily?
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yes? And don't look now, Bogman. But uh Toledo now
favored to win the MAC again. Ma plus I have
them at four to one, so finally got a little
closing line.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Down only one your bet against Kentucky. I don't think
you you have you gone back to Toledo's sometime.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
I went back to Toledo against Northern Illinois, and uh, I.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Know they lost you money one week.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Yep they did, and then I went back to him
two weeks ago and I still have that four to
one conference future on them. So okay, all right, okay,
we're gonna ride down two units. I felt terrible about
it because they were at one point like ten to
one to win the MAC and I was like, oh,
that's a bad number now, But now it looks like
a good number here as we get their novembers. So
excited for the Rockets. They're so much fun, So excited
to track all the shaking, the shift in over the
(10:05):
conference playoffs and the CFP starting here in just a
couple of weeks. So we'll certainly keep you guys up
to date on that. But first, let's go ahead and
jump into the week thirteen early lines, and let's start
on noon on Saturday, where the top ranked in undefeated
Ohio State Buckeyes are back at home, laying between thirty
and a half to thirty one and a half points
(10:26):
against the five and five Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Rutgers right now,
they are coming off the buy, but they did get
a big win over Maryland prior to it to get
to five hundred ats. The defense been pretty bad honestly
for Big Ten standards one hundred and seventh in scoring,
one hundred and twenty second in total defense, but the
offense has been way better than I think anyone expected,
(10:46):
particularly their skilled players. They're running back and Twine Raymond
already over one thousand yards for the season rushing, second
in the conference, tenth in the country in rushing. We
also have their wide receivers DJ duff Ian Strong the
transfer and also DT Sheffield who have all combined for
over two thousand yards receiving. Meanwhile, Ohio State Man they
just continue to print folks money right eight one one
(11:09):
ats this season forty eight to ten in their win
last week over at UCLA without Nico Julian saying now
plus one seventy to win the Heisman is falling behind
Fernando Mendoza a little bit, who is now also minus
money at books to win that trophy. And still though
we have saying who is leading the country in both
pass completion percentage and an absurd eighty point one percent
(11:34):
completion rate, also averaging the most best average efficiency rating
there as well, so to of the best wide receivers
in the nation. This now four deep committee in the backfield,
and with the eleventh ranks scoring offense also comes the
top rank scoring and total defense. So will that be
enough Bogs to carry the Buckeys past this absolutely huge
spread and also in the look ahead spot.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
This is crazy. This has dropped three points over night.
By the way, it's thirty three and a half and
it's thirty and a half. Now, that's kind of crazy.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
But ruggles.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Rutgers has struggled against the upper echelon of Big ten
competition this season. They're five wins this year Ohio, Miami, Ohio,
Norfolk State, Purdue, and their best win was against Maryland
last week. So they put up twenty eight on a
tough Iowa defense, they still lost by ten. Minnesota snuck
(12:27):
by them with a late touchdown to win by three,
Washington doubled them up thirty eight to nineteen. Oregon thumped
them fifty six to ten, and Illinois only allowed them
to score thirteen points. This number is close to correct,
but it's a it's just a big number. Ohio State
just doesn't play typically at a fast enough pace to
(12:48):
win by this margin. They cleared this against UCLA. They
shut out Wisconsin, scored thirty four, didn't let them score.
They beat down Minnesota forty two to three. But let's
not forget this is like the ultimate look ahead spot
for Ohio two. They got Michigan next week. That doesn't
mean that Rutgers will challenge them. But even if they
(13:09):
get the monster lead, we may see wholesale changes and
make sure everyone is healthy and rested from Michigan. Right,
they lost that game again last year. Now they beat
down Indiana before they played Michigan. Last year they saw
Minnesota thirty seven to three, and twenty twenty two, Maryland
played them close forty three to thirty and twenty one,
and they won fifty six to seven over Michigan State.
(13:31):
Twenty twenty was the COVID year. Michigan has been a
problem for Ohio State, not the team before right. The
team before it has usually gotten crushed, but they played
better when they kind of let up in this game.
So I just I can't lay this many points. I
probably I want to take Ohio State. This needs to
come down to twenty seven and a half for me
(13:52):
to get involved. I don't three points overnight's crazy, So
three points in the next couple days wouldn't be nuts.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
If it's a third and a half.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
If we can get three more or alted down to
twenty seven and a half, I just don't want to
go more than four touchdowns on really anybody this year,
specifically Ohio State that is in a look at spot
and plays at a slow pace. So for me, I'll
lay off until this moves, but I want I would
rather take Ohio State. The pace is just so slow,
(14:21):
one hundred and sixteenth in the country and there's just
no need for them to run it up here. So
I think they get a lead and sit on it
more likely than anything.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
So I'll wait.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
If it comes down to twenty seven and a half,
I'll bet Ohio State. But other than that, I'm not
messing with it.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yeah, I'm kind of with you. And I also don't
think this is a place to get invested with our
team total under against the Buckeyes, just because look, man,
this Scarlett Knight's offense, it's been pretty nice, right, Like
Raymond very very capable running back, the wide receiver corps
is really good for them as well. Like, that's the
one takeaway I've had from watching Rutgers and so many
standalone Friday night I think there's a couple of Thursday
(14:57):
night games they had as well earlier in the season.
It's like this offense ain't bad, right, It's not like
the Rutgers. We remember where it's just the checko and
all these rbs that they don't really have a passing game.
They have a little bit of one right now. They
don't have a defense, right they don't have a defense now.
They kind of shifted all all their money from their
defense into their offense. But yeah, I just can't get invested.
(15:17):
I don't think either way, mainly because that look ahead
spot just scares the crap out of me right now.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
So yeah, it's you know, like I said, Rutgers is
they're a tough team. They deserve to have a bull berth,
but their schedule is just not gonna allow it. And
I just I'm not putting. I don't want to bet
against Ohio State at all. No, Nope, let this number
come down or leave it alone, is what I'm gonna do.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
And you can't ask for much more than a top
twenty five matchup at noon in Norman in late November.
And that's exactly what we've got when the number eight
Oklahoma Sooners, they will be taking on and hosting the
number twenty three Missouri Tigers as eight and a half
two nine and a half point favorites in this one,
Missoo jump back into the rankings this week after a
forty nine to twenty seven win over Mississippi State and
(16:05):
is now six and four ATS. Ahmad Hardy absolutely smashing
that game, three hundred rushing yards three touchdowns in that one.
Matt Selers also looked a little bit better at quarterback
after both Perbula went down two touchdowns. He only had
to throw fifteen times, though, so still obviously not what
Prabuela was doing earlier in the season, but better than
he has looked in his few starts before that. I
(16:28):
also don't think it's gonna get any easier this week
though for the Tigers, as they're facing a Sooners team
that had the top four rushing defense, a top eight
scoring defense that just turned over Alabama three times in
that one to get to eight and two straight up
six and four ats this season, four ou Bogs. It
feels like Oklahoma they can really be whoever they need
to be to beat some of the good teams. They're
(16:50):
explosive a couple weeks ago against Tennessee. Last week, it
was kind of, Hey, let's bury the hatches a little bit.
Let's shift down here into third and be defensive against Alabama.
But could the inconsistent play of Jemeterier since his thumb
surgery maybe catch up to them in this particular matchup.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Couldn't be Texas. I'll just throw that out there, Yeah, yes,
just have to say it. Look, I want to take
Oklahoma in this game, but this number is too big
for me. Right We're showing this closer to six points,
so I wanted to get down under a touchdown at
least is how I would want to see this game.
And it was eight and a half yesterday. You said
(17:28):
it's eight and a half and nine and a half,
So it's trending towards the wrong direction. By the way,
I just saw a report before we fired up Bo
Prabula might be available all this game for Missouri. Yeah,
we thought he was done for the year for sure,
But I.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Think Cornell mcl or something.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
I guess not.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
This is what I read on I saw I don't
retire before we started, so wow, you know, check it out.
But I don't think I think that's all nonsense. I
think it's gonna be zollars again, and I cannot trust dollars.
The money is on miszoo right now, So let's see
if it comes back down. But the Missouri could be
one of the top fifteen teams in the country, but
(18:07):
they played down in competition on the road O team
win against Vandy or ages Auburn and the straight up
loss to Vandy. The problem is in those games they
got dominated at the line of scrimmage, and that's the
best thing that Oklahoma does. So I want to take Oklahoma,
but I want this number to get back down to
under a touchdown. It looks like it's going the wrong
(18:27):
way right now. So I do think Oklahoma ultimately wins
this game. They could win it going away, but Missouri's
defense is good, they can always bow up, and materia
is inconsistent. Like you said, So I want Oklahoma, but
I want this number to come down. It looks like
it's going the wrong way. So I'll probably be a
stay away here, but we'll hit some We'll probably hit
some props in this game.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Okay, yeah, I mean, dude, I really like Jeomettier though.
Do you think does he have any eligibility left? Can
he come back at all? Or is this is this
pretty much he can't?
Speaker 2 (18:57):
No, I think he can come back one more. Okay,
it could be mistaken, but I think he might have
one more year left.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
I'd like to see him get polished a little bit
more and then maybe in twenty twenty seven be the
quarterback of Pittsburgh Steelers or something. I think that would be.
I think that'd be fun. GI give us, you know,
our version of Josh Allen or something. How about it.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
We tried it. We tried Oklahoma quarterback and was Landry Jones.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Well, okay, yeah, it's Landry Joe.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
I want Tony Oklahoma trash on my team though.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Okay, well, we also have Oklahoma State former quarterback maybe
fired up for us like him either he Hey man,
it's almost Christmas time. Bring out that like this year?
Oh come on, don't Mason Rudolph. If you're having to

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Despite some false reports on the Internet that had me
fold and also many hopes for the great people down
there in the city of Harrisonburg, Virginia, College game day
will not be in attendance for when the number twenty
one James Madison Dukes are thirteen and a half to
fourteen and a half point favorites over the five and five
Washington Cougars at one pm Eastern time. What a season
(21:34):
it's been for Maszoo. I mean, I think we all
thought when this thing started out that they were not
very good, but they do have some big wins over
the likes of San Diego State, Toledo, and most recently
LA Tech to get to six and four ATS. They've
also hung tight with some pretty good ranked opponents like
Ole Miss like uav UVA on the road, but they
did get blown out by North Texas and Washington earlier
(21:56):
in the season. Altogether, they have a pretty good top
fifty strength of scheduled despite not truly being in a
real conference, and the defense is what's particularly getting it
done here, ranked thirty fourth and scoring eighteenth and total
yards allowed as opposed to the offense, led by quarterback
zevi Akis, who came into the season as the backup JMU,
has been in the driver's seat of the Sun Belt. Meanwhile,
(22:17):
pretty much all season long, they're undefeated in conference play,
with their only lost coming back in Week two to Louisville,
a game where they're leading at halftime. Actually, they just
won and covered against app State to get to seven
and three ATS, and they're doing it with a top
five total defense and a top seven rushing offense. Their
quarterback Alonzo Barnett, the third He leads the country in
(22:39):
rushing yards for the quarterback position, also has sixteen passing
touchdowns as well. So the only issue here for the
duke strength is the duke strength to schedule. For me, Bogman,
they're one hundred and thirteenth in the country. Their best
win is a sixty two to twenty seven win against
Old Dominions. So I don't know if I can get
invested here with jmu it feels just a little bit trappy.
(23:01):
What about you, though, do you think Washington State has
seen their best football in the past.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah, look, I I like Washington State here, and their
defense has been on a different level recently.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
You're right.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
They did allow the fifty nine points and back to
back weeks in that's weeks three and four to North
Texas and Washington, but they've really buckled down since then. Colado,
Toledo and La Tech three point seven points, three points, right,
really held them. And then you know, they lost to
Old Miss, they lost the UVA and they lost to
Oregon State. But the totals there were twenty four at
(23:35):
Old Miss, twenty two at Virginia, and only ten for
the Beavers. They just couldn't score in that game. I
don't like that. This is a road trip all the
way to Virginia for them, But They've already been to
Virginia and they almost won against the Calves, right, jmu
is hot, but you mentioned it. Set They have one
of the worst strengths of schedule in the country this year.
(23:58):
It's one hundred and thirteenth. They have played nobody going
sun it's been bad and you know, like you said,
they lost by two touchdowns to Louisville. At Louisville, they
had some big wins against Liberty and Old Dominion. But
outside of that, it's Texas State, it's Marshall, it's app State,
it's Georgia Southern Directional Georgia's you know, it's just not
(24:21):
it's just not very good. So it's not a good schedule.
So it's hard for me to back them without really
having them be tested outside of the one test they
had with Louisville and they lost.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
So I like Wazoo.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
That Oregon State came freshman frustrated me so much, dude,
they should have won that game. I like them to
get up here. I kind of like the under I
like Washington State here. I think I like the under more.
I think they're gonna be able to hold I think
they're gonna be able to hold jam You a little bit,
and I think this is you know, it could look
close to this gross twenty eight to fourteen game that
(24:54):
we had before in the totals forty two and a
half right now. So yeah, I think the under is
my favorite play. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make
this an official pick. We'll check back on Wednesday for
that though.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yeah, I'm with you, man, Like I like what jam
You's been doing. They've been taking care of business like,
but it's just like so hard to trust anything coming
out of the sun Belt right now because like I
also was pretty high on Southern Myths last week. I
didn't bet them, but they're playing Texas State who had
no conference wins and got blown off, you know, the
doors off them.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
So it's like, yeah, the sun Belt does not make
a lot of sense.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
No, there's like Troy, you know, Troy Old Dominion's been okay,
but like behind jam You right now on the east
side of the Sun Belt, it's Coastal Carolina, who I
think after two or three weeks in the season, you
and I were both like selling the farm to get
away from them as fast we could.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
It might be one of the worst teams in the country.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Yeah, Charlotte's bad, you know, like I don't know, the
Sun Belt is just yeah, they're they're dominating bad teams
right now.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
That's what's happening.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
It's not the American It's not the American for sure.
So yes, I think I will also probably not get
invested unless maybe this comes down to closer than nine
and a half, which I don't think we're going to kids,
So where college game Day will actually be? Those back
in Eugene on Saturday morning for a three thirty kickoff
between the number sixteen a USC Trojans catching nine and
a half points against the number six Oregon Ducks. This
(26:14):
is essentially an eliminedgation elimination game for the spot in
the College Football Playoffs. USC. They came back against Iowa
last week, but they were a two point conversion away
from covering my spread there. They're also now five and
five ATS on the season with a top ten scoring offense,
led by, of course, their quarterback Jayde Mayava. They also
(26:34):
have some very explosive receivers, Makai Lemon, who's very much
in the conversation to be the top wide receiver in
this year's class, Jacoby Lane also comes into this one
after a pretty nice game. Defense starting to kind of
also bow up towards the second half of games. We
saw that against Nebraska a couple weeks. We saw that
last week against Iowa Oregon. Meanwhile, they also be Iowa
(26:56):
on the road, then came home last Friday night, took
care of business against Minnesota Quarterback Dante More He's been adequate,
But really it's this offense. It's moving through the four
headed backfield, plus their potential John Mackie Award winner tight
end Kenyan Sadiq Boggs. The last time we saw USC
b Oregon all the way back when I was graduating
high school in twenty sixteen, but at the same time
(27:18):
Dalla was pac twelve ball. This is now Big ten
country baby, So will things be a bit different this
time round, or at least different enough to maybe cover
the number?
Speaker 2 (27:27):
I don't think so has struggled with some strong defenses
down the stretch.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Here.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
They were able to put up thirty on Illinois Michigan,
but then twenty four in the last Notre Dame, twenty
one in the win in Nebraska, three hundred and sixty
yards twenty six at home against Iowa. The thirty points
that Indiana put up on the Ducks is the most
they've given up all year. They also gave up twenty
four at Penn State, but only two hundred and seventy
(27:54):
six total yards in that game.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Sorry, Seth, but the.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Pass defense this is you know, this is the strength
on strength.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
This is tough.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
Whoever, whoever wins this battle of offense for USC verus
defense for Oregon is going to win this game. And
I think they're gonna win this game going away if
it starts to get you know, a little downhill here.
But for Oregon they're top twenty five in scoring defense,
total defense, passing, and rushing. USC is top thirty in
(28:25):
scoring in total and passing. The offense that this one
is going to be interesting. We're showing we're showing it
so close. What do you say the number is right now?
Is still nine and a half?
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, right now, you're looking right at nine and a
half every book.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
We're on the line, it's nine point four, is what
we show. So yeah, right, we'll just see which way
it goes, is what I would say. I think, But
I think maybe an underplay would be okay, But I
want to see this get up over sixty before I
go under. So yeah, I think this is going to
be a very good game, a close one, but we're
(29:03):
just not showing value one way or the other as
it stands right now. So gun, in my head, I'm
going Oregon. I think Oregon wins at home. I think
they're gonna be able to stop this offense, and I
do not think the USC defense can stop Oregon's offense
at all. So I think Oregon's gonna be able to score.
Can USC match them? I doubt it, But you can lose.
(29:23):
You can dominate this game and still lose by a touchdown,
right so, especially if it's lower scoring. So right now,
Oregon would be my pick. I would, but I like
the under a little bit more. I think, so under
is probably gonna be my play when we get there.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Is it just a fact that you don't think USC
can win this type of game if it is ugly
and it is low scoring, like they would pretty much
need a boat race Oregon to win. Is that how
you would kind of see a winning recipe for Lincoln
Riley's team.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Yeah, their defense is played better, so I don't want
to say that they have to put up like forty
two or forty five to win. But I do think
that Orgon is going to be able to score. Their
defense is better, but it's not great. So I think
that Oregon is gonna be able to put up points,
and I just I'm not sure how us he is
going to move the ball against this defense. Like I said,
(30:13):
thirty against Indiana is the most points they've given up.
And USC ain't Indiana. They're very good, they're not Indiana.
So yeah, I just think that Oregon is buckling down
right now and I don't think USC is gonna get them.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Also at three point thirty is the five and five
Kentucky Wildcats. They're rolling into Music City as a nine
and a half to ten and a half point underdog
against the twelfth ranked Vanderbilt Commodores. Kentucky they've covered it
in three straight games right now to get the five
hundred and ats, including wins at Auburn and against Florida.
Cutter Bully their quarterback. He's been better than what Mark
(30:47):
Dukes has been getting at quarterback earlier in the season
last season even as well, and the one two punch
of Seth mcfallen and Dante Daddell in the backfield has
really given Kentucky this edge in you know, the type
of control, the time and possession, beat you down with defense,
type of ball they like to play. There is currently
twenty second best in time possession Vanderbilt. Meanwhile, they're coming
(31:09):
off the buy after winning against Auburn by a score
and then losing to Texas the week before by three.
They are currently eight and two ats Digo Pavia. He
has the Commis team ranked ninth in scoring, coming in
partially due to the top five third down conversion rate
top thirty five and red zone scoring present a show
very efficient offense for the Commodores. Still, I don't really
(31:32):
see any advantage for Vandy against Kentucky, at least not
a huge one, do you, Bogman? And will you have
any action while we're still at the key numbers of
nine and a half and ten and a half available
depending which way you want to go.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah, I mean I'll take that nine and a half
for Vandy. Kentucky's been playing well down the street. I've been, man,
but but I feel like this might come down a
bit because of that, and I want to be on
the Vandy side because of that.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Right, So, the.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Florida game Florida quit that game. They got down early
and gave up. That was a quick game, right. I
think Auburn quit on Hugh Freeze. They only scored three points.
I was at home, and we saw what happened with
Auburn when they got better play calling. They put up
thirty eight points this week. Right, it was their best
offensive week of the year. Tennessee beat the bejeezus out
(32:20):
of them, but they let you know, they let Kentucky score,
and Kentucky got a little bit better on offense and
a little more confidence. I just think that I think
if Vandy was completely out of the CFP that I
would probably take.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Kentucky in this game. But they're not. You know, they're twelve.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
They're you know, one of the first teams out right now,
so it's going to take some help. But Vandy is
still in this. You know, the Vandy defense has been
the issue recently. They gave up big totals, you know,
to Texas and then to Auburn who hadn't scored that
many points at all the rest of the season, So
(32:56):
they can be taken advantage of. I just don't think
Kentucky's a team to do it. Kentucky will put up
points on a miserable defense, like sure, you know Tennessee
when they don't care when they've scored forty five in
the first half or whatever it was, they don't care
about covering at that point. They're just you know, let's
go home. We've already won this game. So they scored
some points there. I just Kentucky is Kentucky would be
(33:18):
most teams in the country, I think, but not most
teams in the SEC. And I think Vandy, still being
in this still being at home, is going to play
inspired football. And I think once it's they start rolling downhill,
we might be on quit watch for Kentucky in this game.
So we've seen them just be Jekyll and Hide in
(33:38):
the past and in this season, and I expect them
to hide this one. So yeah, gimme Vandy, But let's
wait for it to come down, because I think it might.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Okay, Yeah, if it honestly like winds out anymore, I
might consider going the other way with Kentucky. But I
think i'd need you first, or twelve and a half
or thirteen and a half maybe, just because I really
do like what they're doing, at least in the want
to get.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
Over two touchdowns fourteen and a half or alted up, Like,
if it's that close anyway, just alt it right to
over two touchdowns if you're taking Kentucky.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
But that's the point where it would go.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
But like I said, I think I think it might
go the other way, So we'll guys.
Speaker 1 (34:13):

ranked Texas Longhorns college football playoffs hopes are probably dashed
at this point. They're now fifteen to one to make
(34:58):
the dance after a losing thirty five to ten at
Georgia in Athens last week. However, they do have an
opportunity to bounce back when they're laying ten to ten
and a half points against the two and eight Arkansas Razorbacks.
Quarterback Arch Banning still completing just sixty three percent of
his passes. Also their running back Tray Wiser, who is
finally back fully healthy. He's averaging just three point nine
(35:21):
yards per carry this season Arkansas. This is a very
lane duck type of year for the Razorbacks after firing
Sam Pittman back all the way in September. However, that
didn't stop them from covering last week against LSU as
six and a half point dogs in in Baton Rouge
as well. They lost by just one points to the Tigers,
so that was their fourth conference cover this season. They
(35:42):
did the same against A and M Tennessee and Ole Miss,
all ranked teams. So they have thatdual threat quarterback Taylor
Green that I know a lot of people like him.
They also have running back Mike Washington who's been helping
them really operate at a pretty high clip right now,
leading the team to a top twenty five scoring offense.
It's one hundred and thirty or that's thirteenth in total yards. However,
the defense atrocious, it's really bad, one hundred and twenty
(36:05):
and scoring one hundred and twenty in total yards allowed.
So Boggs, will that allow the Longhorns to maybe get
going and cover this number or is it just hey,
we got to stay off Texas for the rest of
the year.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Now.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
I like the over I think in this that's kind of.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
What I was thinking too, But I don't know if
that was the right player or not.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Well, Texas is no margin for error, right, and let's
not forget this is a rivalry game. This has not
been a great rivalry recently. But before Texas was in
the Big twelve, their big rival was Arkansas. And that's
why when the season changed, Arkansas is going to be
one of those three teams at Texas Place every single season. Right,
it's Ou, It's A and M, and it's Archie. Because
(36:46):
this has always been a traditional rivalry. So in Arkansas,
like you said, Seth, I mean it is so true
when you go back and look at the schedule, they
play everyone tough.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
They've been out of it for.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
A long time and they're still playing tough, right, They
only really got dominated by Notre Dame the SEC competition,
three point loss to Tennessee on the road, three point
loss at home to A and M. Nine point loss
to Auburn was the biggest swing, and then three point
loss to Mississippi State and one point last week at
Baton Rouge. So Texas is desperate, but they're also just
(37:20):
two and eight against the spread this season. ARKI has
nothing to play for but pride, and they've been doing it.
I think the over is the decent play here because
you know, Arkansas has been scoring and Texas has only
one victory by this margin against P four opponents, and
that was the first game for John Mattier off a
(37:40):
thumb surgery. That's the only game that they won by
double digits this year against SEC opponents. So they beat
Kentucky by three, Mississippi State by seven, and they let
Vandy come back after getting that huge win and only
ended up winning that game by three points. So Arkansas
has out a bowl competition, but Petrino has him playing hard.
I want more wiggle room to take Texas. I cannot
(38:01):
lay double digits for them, but I do like the
over here. Fifty five and a half. I think Texas
gets most of it, but I think they allow Arkansas
to score. You know, they've been allowing some points recently
to good offenses, and Arkie has a good offense, so
and they play hard. I mean, this is their season.
They're not going to a bowl, so they're here to
try to knock Texas out of the playoff. That's what
(38:23):
they want to do. So and we got to play
these guys every single year, so this would start a
nice reignite this rivalry pretty well, and we have not
handled Arkansas recently. So I think one game way back,
like maybe in twenty nineteen, and then last year the
year before I can't remember, but they were both close games.
(38:44):
I'm I'm not taking Texas by double digits here. I
would have to have a comeback down.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
Yeah, I think if spreads out, I would even consider
maybe Arkansas just because they have been so good against
SEC foes. Right, But I do expect points in this
one from Texas. With how bad that Razorbacks defense is,
my only question is like can the Razorbacks overcome that
defense against the Longhorns that traditionally been pretty good against
getting after the quarterback? Not last week against Georgia for
(39:09):
whatever reason, but maybe they had better luck this week so.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
And they're also looking ahead to am good points.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Good point. We also have Salt Lake City, which should
be buzzing at four Eastern time on Saturday. Win. The
number thirteen utahis they host the five and five Kansas
State Wildcats as sixteen to sixteen and a half point favorites.
I am really looking forward to potentially getting back invested
and fading Kansas State. I did it a couple weeks
ago against Texas Tech. I should have done it last
(39:37):
week as well, as they won just fourteen to six
against a terrible Oklahoma State team. They failed to cover
in that one, dropping them to four and six ats.
The big news out of the program last week was
running back Dealan Edwards. He has gone. He has left
Kansas State. He was banged up for a lot of
the season anyways, but that may have trickled down and
effected this entire teams. The Wildcats were out gained by
(39:59):
the Cowboys last week three hundred and seventy three to
two hundred and eighty four. Just despicable. And Utah they
just bowl Bulldoz Taylor fifty five to twenty eight. They
rushed for over three hundred and eighty yards with the
second ranked rushing offense. Not only do they have quarterback
Devin dan Pierre, who was slinging the rock all around
the field in his limited touches, but also they deployed
(40:20):
true freshman quarterback a Bird fickland More in a wildcat
role and he went for one hundred and sixty six
yards on six carries two touchdowns for him also saw
a couple passes in this one, Bogs. I think that
the rushing game and the ute top ten ranked scoring
defense will tee off against Kansas State. But I'm looking
to maybe get invested closer to a thirteen and a
half point line. Will I see that this week? You think?
(40:43):
Or is this probably the best number we're getting?
Speaker 2 (40:45):
I was sending you that Pribula tweet. Did you did
you talk about Jase Brown, the Kansas State number one
wide receiver also out full season?
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Okay, yeah, so I.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Mean Dan Pier is also questionable. I saw this report
like right before we've fired up. I think he's gonna play,
but he's he's just he's up in the air. We'll
get his status on Wednesday night.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
I don't care.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
Yeah, mean, Utah has beat everyone that is in Texas
Tech and BYU soundly right WVU forty eight fourteen Arizona State,
they didn't have levit, but they beat them forty two
to ten. Sure Colorado fifty three to seven. Since he
forty five or fourteen a Baylor on the road fifty
five to twenty eight. Utah is playing their best football
(41:29):
right now. Kansas State struggled to get going on the
road against Oklahoma State last week. Okay State had allowed
thirty eight points or more six weeks in a row
before k State came in and only put up fourteen
against them. Utah needs to close out. This is a
huge number. I get it, but I don't think it matters.
(41:49):
This is the first time Kansas State has traveled to
Utah since Utah entered the Big Twelve, and I feel
like they are in for a rude awakening here. If
you like Utah line has already jumped, so you may
want to grab it now. I think it is going
to continue to move forward unless we get negative news
about Dan Pierp. Case State lost a number one wide receiver.
(42:12):
I just I don't see how Case State play stays
in this game. They will bow up and play a
good game every once in a while, But what are
the odds it's going to be on the road at
Utah when they just lost one of the best players left,
and they just lost their best wide receiver target who
is the only guy over four hundred.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
Yards received last year. And so I just it is.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
It's going to get ugly for Kate at the end
of the year here, and I think it gets real
bad in this game.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
So give me Utah lay the points.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
Yeah, I regretted not teasing Utah up. I talked about
last week on the show, trying to get them at
plus money, and then I found them at seven a half,
I might as well take the six and a half
and hold it down. And I should have just gone
the other way with it, right, So I don't think
I'm gonna be afraid to get invested here at sixteen
and a half, as if that's the best number we
can get. Like you said, I would maybe like to
wait a little bit. We'll come back onto this on
(43:02):
our midweek show for our picks and predictions and talk
a little bit more about it. But I think if
I can get a thirteen and a half I'd like it,
but sixteen and a half, I'm okay with rolling with it,
just because of what we've seen from Kansas State, that
injury at the wide receiver position, and it's just bad
vibes right now. And you know last year too. He's
been a little bit better on the road. But Avery
Johnson not typically a quarterback who does super well outside
(43:25):
of Kansas State country.
Speaker 3 (43:26):
So didn't give me.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
A touchdown last week, That's all I asked. They've been
giving up thirty eight at least six straight weeks. I
figured Avery could get one.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Did not, no, sir. However, we do have the eighteenth
ranked Michigan Wolverines, who are now thirteen a half to
fourteen a half point a road favorites against the four
and eight Maryland Terrapins and Maryland they started the season
four and oh very hot, but they've now dropped eight
straight games, including three failed covers in a row, dropping
them to five and five ATS. Their quarterback has currently
(43:57):
Milik Washington, leading the conference and passing attempts, but done
really nothing with it, right, I mean, they're currently ranked
sixty fourth and passing ninety ninth in scoring offense as well,
and even worse is probably their rushing offense one hundred
and eighteenth ranked in the country. That includes their leading
running back to John Williams. He's only averaging forty one
rushing yards per game, So I think that's gonna spell
(44:19):
a lot of trouble against the Wolverines, who are twelfth
ranked against the rush this season. Also, while Michigan's passing
offense has been pretty mid this season under freshman Bryce Underwood,
there's still twelfth in the country in rushing offense. They
will can have to continue to rely on running back
Jordan Marshall Justice Haynes. We saw this earlier day rumored
to be out the remaining of the regular season, but
(44:41):
I don't really care, honestly, because this is a spot
Maryland ranked one hundred and fifth in rushing defense. So
my only question, Bogs is do we jump on it
now at thirteen and a half or could we maybe
see the spread shrink just a little bit later in
the week if Haines is confirmed out.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
I don't think it's gonna shrink. I think it's gonna stick,
and I think it might get worse. So if you
want to take Michigan, I think you should take him
now because the only Big Ten team that Maryland has
beat all year Wisconsin, and that was in the middle
of their QB woes. They played Washington, Nebraska, UCLA close,
but have since been thoroughly thumped. Fifty five to ten
for Indiana, thirty five to twenty at Rutgers, in twenty
(45:20):
four to six at Illinois. Michigan has got me both ways,
so I just don't really trust them coming or going
this year. I'll say that, sure this number has gone.
You said it's fourteen and a half, right now.
Speaker 1 (45:31):
You still get a thirteen and a half if you
want it.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Thirteen and a half isn't bad, but Michigan has had
a way harder schedule on the road. But the real
appeal for the Wolverines that they match up so well.
That's the thing against Maryland. Offensively, Michigan is still a
run heavy team. The Turps gave up two hundred and
twenty five rushing yards to Illinois, two hundred and fifty
six to Rutgers, three hundred and sixty seven rushing yards
(45:54):
to Indiana. Michigan is going to run the ball, They're
going to control the clock, and they're going to start
for forcing turnover because this Turps team is not a
good passing offense. Another issue with Michigan though, absolute look
ahead to Ohio State next week, right, yeah, major major,
my dad spot. So I don't trust Michigan. I think
(46:16):
they win by three touchdowns here. Even not trusting them,
I don't know if I can put any more money,
and I don't know if I can afford to put
any more money on stupid Michigan. They have hosed me
both ways this year, but I really feel confident that
they will win this game going away.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
I do too when looking at the early lines today.
This was probably my favorite bet of the week. I
haven't been great my favorite bets of the week as
of late, but uh yeah, yeah, this is the spot
I think I like. I think I am probably gonna
jump on that thirteen half. I didn't like them last
week against Northwestern Northwestern we talked about they're a very tough, yeah,
up and down team, and they play people tight when
they shouldn't, so I was off them last week. I've
(46:55):
only been on Michigan I think one time this season.
I was terrible betting them last year. I think this
is where I back invested and hopefully start to turn
the tides ahead of the game next week, very very
excited for that one. That's gonna be just absolutely monstrous.
So in the primetime slate here Boggs, we do have
an acc banger, the number fifteen Georgia Tech Yellowjackets. They're
(47:15):
listed as two and a half two three and a
half point home favorites against the Pitt Panthers. Pitt just
failed to cover at home against Notre Dame with College
Game Day intact, allowing Jeremiah Love to go for a
buck forty seven. We also had CJ. Carr dealing out there,
completing twenty one of thirty two passes, two touchdowns, two
interceptions for the kid out there. And also Pitt now
ranks twelfth in scoring offense, but fifty seventh in scoring defense.
(47:38):
They now get the task of trying to slow down
the number one total offense in the country, led by
your boy Haines King, who leads the conference in yards
per attempt and rushing touchdowns. They also now have a
pretty nice three headed monster in the backfield Haines King,
of course, Jamal Haynes, who's been a little bit less
effective than the newcomer Malachi Hostley. However, the defense is
(47:59):
a real problem for Tech right now, right one hundred
and fifth in total yards allowed. They just allowed Boston College,
one of the worst teams in the ACC, to drop
thirty four points on them. The week before forty eight
NC State put up on them, dropping them to six
and four ats Bogs. I want to get reinvested with
the yellow jackets here, I really do, but I'm just
not sure I can do it with how bad this
(48:20):
defense is playing. I don't have a question about Hans King.
Maybe I take something on the newly listed yard props
out there.
Speaker 6 (48:27):
Let's just take the over seth Let's just take the
over come on you think, Let's just you think, yeah, yeah, Look,
these are two teams that are moving the football really well.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
Pitch just ran into Notre Dame. But even our doozy said,
this is not ACC play. This game doesn't matter. I
think we get a lot of points.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
Shorgia.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Tech allowed, like you said, NC State to put up
forty eight, Boston College put up thirty four, and you
know Pitt gave up one hundred and seventy five yards
rushing to Notre Dame and even the twenty to Stanford
with negative rushing yards, right, Standford score twenty. That was surprising. Like,
I like Georgia Tech at home here, and the speed
(49:07):
is safe. Fine, So if you want to take Georgia
Tech by the field goal, take them by the field goal.
I'm fine by that. But they've been given up points.
Pitt can score points, you know. Notre Dame is a
different They're just on a different level here. So to me,
I just think this is gonna be a nice, gross
back and forth game with no defense, and we're gonna
(49:27):
see massive amounts of points scored in this game. So
I really like the over here.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
Yeah, I would be cool with that. The only thing
that could scare me about Georgia Tech is they do
like to run the ball a lot, and they can
chew up some time, but they run out a fast
pace right and Pitt also, I believe, runs at a
pretty fast pace as well. So yeah, you're probably.
Speaker 2 (49:46):
Be over sixty ninth for Georgia Tech and twenty seventh
for Pitt, so little slightly below average for Georgia Tech,
but way above average for Pitt.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
That should make up for it.
Speaker 2 (49:56):
And if Pitt is scoring, Georgia Tech's gonna have to
pick up that pace you've seen them do that. They
had to do it for Boston College on the comeback,
So yeah, I think Uh, I think both these offenses
can score points.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Yeah, I hope so Georgia chech We Neja Bay we
still got the two hundred and fifty to one.
Speaker 3 (50:12):
Uh that's your VOI more than it is.
Speaker 6 (50:15):
It is.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
You've bet a lot of any time time, a bunch
of money year. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
He can win you more in one pool, Pier. So
let's go, yes, he can.
Speaker 1 (50:24):
We need to get to the playoff. We need the
cash out, Haynes, that's what we need. That's what maybe
on Friday out At that point though, you know what
I mean, At that point, you just have fun with it.
So uh, let's go ahead the whole route out of
the program. With the seven to three Cincinnati Bearcatz catching
between two and two and a half points against the
number eleven BYU Cougars. I talked about it last week.
I shouldn't have pulled off the Cougs. They won forty
(50:45):
four to thirteen over TCU. They advanced to seven and
three ats wele Sincy. They just last Arizona and Utah
and back back weeks dropping them to six and four
ats out of the Big twelve championship conversation, Both these
teams right now, they're really average in passing, but top
twenty five in rushing. However, Utah much more or excuse
(51:06):
me by you, much more impressive on the defensive end
and nearly every metric. Also, they seem to control the
clock a lot better. Fifteenth best in time possession rate,
while since he dead last still time psion. We talked
about that earlier this season, Bogs, and I think that's
an issue here. Is it just a rinse and repeat,
lay the points to the BYU, let's not overthink this
(51:27):
one again? Or is this maybe a little trappy?
Speaker 2 (51:30):
I mean, it's definitely more trappy. Cincinnati is a much
better team, way more well rounded than TCU. But I
just think that, you know, after that loss to Utah,
the wind has come out of the sales for Cincinnati.
They know that they're not in Big twelve competition. They're
gonna go to the whatever whatever Bowl, and that's gonna
have to be it for them. So Arizona's a good
(51:51):
squad and that's a long travel for Cincy. But I
was really surprised that they got beat down by Arizona.
Speaker 3 (51:57):
Right Yu, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:00):
BYU has had some strong road wins against Colorado, Arizona
and Iowa State. I expect this to be a little
bit tighter. But if I get BYU by less than
a touchdown here, I'm just gonna lay the points to
take them again. I you know, since these defense allows
long drives. Since he's still at the bottom of the
nation in time of possession, and we still have questions
(52:22):
about their best running back, Evan Pryor playing in this game,
BYU's not done yet. I think, you know, number eleven,
that's the first team out of the playoff right now,
So I think they'll win a tough one on the
road here, keep their hopes alive. And you know this
magic for BYU is it's been great. Only Texas Tech
(52:44):
beat them, and Texas Tech beat them soundly. But Texas
Tech is by far the best team in the Big twelve.
I think at the end of the day, BYU, I
mean they beat Utah. I don't know if they should
have beat Utah, so maybe on a neutral field, I
would take the Utes again, I think, but BYU is
better than everybody that's not Texas Tech and BYU so
(53:05):
or Utah. Excuse me, they're better than everybody else in
the Big twelve. And I think that includes Cincinnati. I
think Cincinnati might have been there, but it really seems
like it's kind of we're seeing a little bit of
a give up at the end of the year here
for them.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
Yeah, definite tier break in the Big twelve, right, I
think it's so, you know, I mean, obviously a TEO
years break after Texas Tech, I think, and then it's Utah.
It's BYU pretty neck and neck. I think I am
with you. I would take I.
Speaker 3 (53:29):
Got that moneyball tier break. Yeh, Texas Tech.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Everybody fair enough, But yeah, I think this is maybe
a spot I will try to get back in with BYU.
We'll see what happens. I do want to see what
prior status is. We'll have some confirmation hopefully on our
