Speaker 1 (00:05):
I know how much you all love part one. So
here is part two between us Girls with Me and BOS.
When you look at your future, do you think of
do you do life in Ingrament's like I still think
of the year in school years. I mean I still
have a kid in high.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
School, so so you so, But.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
I don't know. I just think, yeah, I think September
to May is like one chunk and then we have
the summer. But do you think of your life in
like you have life events coming up, so you're gonna
get married and you're not going to go to college?
Or do you think I have a five year plan?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
No?
Speaker 3 (00:38):
How do you definitely not.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
How do you look at your future?
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:40):
No, I really don't do five year and ten year
plans and all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
I don't even do vision boards.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
I don't do any of that stuff because I really
do feel like it like hinders and dampens the ability
for something truly magical to happen in your life. Okay,
you know this is back to the you know, the
work and the manifestation and all of that stuff. Like
I just feel like, look, if you're not living in
the present, you're definitely going to miss something you know,
(01:08):
it's like you over here looking at five years down
the road. Meanwhile, you have an opportunity to sitt into
your left and you're just gonna totally miss that because
you're trying to check off the box, you know. So
I really do try to stay in the present as possible,
and it takes a lot of discipline to do that
because the desire is to plan for later. Now, I'm
not saying that I'm out here like without a retirement plan.
(01:29):
Of course I have one. You're smart, trust me, I
know we're good at that. Yeah, But like if you
were to say, you know, what do you want to
do in three years, I actually don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I have no idea, Okay, but is there something on
your list?
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Really, to be honest with.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
You, you're just open to the university.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
But I'm open, and I feel like that has really
been a blessing to me. It really worked win my
corporate career too, by the way, because people look at
my resume and be like, oh my god, the strategy
behind building this thing? And I'm like, if you knew this,
howtil strategy?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
I was on an interview once where the interview was
actually arguing with me just like, there's no way you
get a resume like this with that strategy. I was like, oh, yeah,
you want to talk about it, How long do you
have because I will tell you what happened between each
move and you won't like it'll makes sense to you
and at the same time you'll be like god.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Damn, because I think you're someone who's so very open
to the universe. It's like you're saying you're you know,
consciously present, open to the universe and able to see
the moves. So so the show with Jimmy, Yes, did
that just come up? Like, how does that happen? By
the way, I met Nancy? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:39):
At how did I not meet Nancy?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
You didn't meet her?
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I didn't. I've never met the woman in real life.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Oh my god, she's fabulous.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
So here's what happened.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
And again this is why I'm like, I don't have
these five year plans because I never know what I'm
gonna do, you know. So I took what I thought
was a sabbatical from my corporate career to write my book, right,
and once I was done publishing, I was like, I
don't really want to go back, but you know, my
ego was working on me, and I was like, I
need to be Bosema Saint John from such and such company,
you know, CMO this and blah blah blah and those people,
(03:13):
you know talking and writing think pieces about how my
career was done.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
And this and that.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
And so I took a series of interviews, you know,
for some pretty big jobs. Got really close to one where,
you know, I had an offer sent with my lawyer
and I just had to meet the board after meeting
the CEO and all that stuff, and the job was
actually based in Europe. And so I was sitting there
in my hotel room and I was like, ah, man,
(03:40):
I don't want this job.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
You know, I don't want to do this.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
But I didn't know what I was going to do
because I was like, well, I take care of my daughter,
I take care of my parents. You know, I have
several family members I take care of. I'm like, I
have to make an income, right, I need cash flow.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
I need cash flow.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
But I was like, I don't know what I'm gonna do. Yoga.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
I cried and cried and cried and cried because I
knew I couldn't take the job. I left, I went home,
I declined the offer, and then I'm sitting in bed
like eating bombbonds and walking slowly, you know, and I
was like, what am I going to do? Yeah? And
then I got an email from Bravo and they were like,
you know, we'd love to talk to you about joining
(04:16):
the Housewives and I'm like what that? Why would I?
Speaker 3 (04:20):
And you know what's so funny?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
At first I thought the email was about me becoming
like the CMO of Like, I didn't think it was me.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Oh my gosh, you're like I'm going to run and
Cohen exactly.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
I literally the first call, it was like, you know,
I was like, wait, I don't understand what's going on here,
you know, because like who did you talk to? Well,
here's what So here's what's funny. My assistants at the
time like the email came to them, right, and so
they presented it like oh you know this this came
(04:55):
and you know, we think you should do it, and
I'm just like what, Like it didn't make any sense
to me, you know, I was like why would they
call me? So literally, the third first meeting was with
Kathleen at NBC, and I was like, so, what is
it that you want from me, like I was so confused,
and because I was like, I mean, I've talked to
NBC exacts my entire career from a media standpoint, So
(05:16):
I was like, what is it that you'd like me?
You want me, you want me to fund the camera, Like,
I don't even understand what this offer is, you know
what I mean. But here's what's so crazy is that
when I decided to do it for many many reasons,
but also because of what I was feeling at the
time and feeling like, you know what, this is scary,
but I think this is where I'm supposed to be going.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
And after leading Europe, you're now looking for the thing.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, so now I'm on high alert and I'm like,
oh shit, I think this is it. Right.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
So I come on the show very first episode.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
You know, it's like we run down my career, like
she's done this and she's done that, and blah blah
blah blah blah. I'm also wearing this enormous gown. You know,
it's a very contradictory image that is on the screen.
And Nancy is watching the show and Jimmy, that's Jimmy Fallons.
Why yes, Jimmy Fouance such a producer. Yes, so Nancy's
watching the show. Jimmy had sold on brand to NBC
(06:08):
like a year prior, had interviewed a dozen cmos, all
had great chops, did not have great TV presents. And
then she saw me and she was like, holy shit,
I think I just found your co host. And so Jimmy,
you know, makes the connections his people, my people, and
we get on a call, maybe it was five minutes
of a call before we were like, yeah, this is it,
(06:29):
let's go.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Do this, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
So my point is that I don't make these five
year and ten year plans simply because of that. If
you needed another example that this is it, you know
where it's just like I shouldn't have been in the
role in Housewives. I should have been doing something else.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
But here I am.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
I'm dying to talk to you about IVF.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yes, all right please. So I have four kids, yes.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Three IVF one O natural.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
No one.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
No one had told me that if a man and
woman have sex, no one had a child can happen?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Oh man, I missed biology class. No I didn't on
that day.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
I wasn't that smart. Okay, listen, I thought you had
to pay a lot of money, get a Petri dish, have.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
A whole situation up. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So that was surprising.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
AnyWho, the IVF thing. First of all, no one can
prepare you, no one for what that's like. I can
ask a personal question, maybe discuss this. But your daughter
was a naturale.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Yes, ok so you were not.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
You did not know from this whole fertility thing at all.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
No, I didn't.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
And just to add a little more complexity to it,
my natural pregnancies were terrible. They were awful experiences. So
I actually had a daughter before Layel, who died the
day she was born. And it was because I had
pre acclamsya and I had a protein s the deficiency
and all kinds of craziness. So Layell was all also
born a pre MEI and spent a lot of time
(08:02):
with Nick. You I was over here hooton, hollering and
praying you know that she come out, and so it's
she feels like a miracle to me. And after Peter died,
I really didn't consider that I would have another child,
you know, because it just kind of felt like, okay,
you know, God blessed me with one marriage blessed me
with one living child, Like I think, I'm good, you know,
(08:22):
what more can I ask for? But it wasn't until
I met Keihley that you know, and he doesn't have
any kids, has never been he's fifty. And he was like,
you know, I really would like a family.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
And I was like, I'm sorry what you know. I
was like, well, sounds like you should be.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Dating somebody else, you know what I mean, yeah exactly.
I was like I can't help you there. But he
was like, no, you're you're the one, you know. And girl,
by the way, this was like two months into dating,
like we weren't. It wasn't like wait six, We knew
immediately that this was it, you know, and we were
talking about and I was just like, man, and I
(09:02):
told him every, you know, I told him everything. I
told my fears, like it's not just a physical thing
to me, it's not just my age, but like mentally,
like I've been through a lot of therapy for all
that trauma. I was like, I just I don't know
that I could survive, like mentally through another pregnancy.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
And he was the one who was so encouraging and.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Gave me really a lot of optimism into doing and
by the way, it was like it was like taking
like an old archive something and like blowing and it's
like all the dust flies off, like hopes and dreams
that I had buried bury. Yeah, and then I was like,
oh my god, is it actually do like I actually
do want it. I was like, but I've been so
(09:45):
afraid to say it out loud, you know, didn't think
another partner was coming. I certainly didn't want to do
it by myself. So I mean, look, I already raised
layup by myself. I was like, I think I could
do another one. I'm tired. But the possibility of having
a child with Keeley was just I was like, Wow,
this is really possible. And I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
I mean, that's the first step is to put all
the fears and being able to say something like that
out loud. What chat my ass was. I saw a
lot of you know, very rude comments. Oh yes, And
I can't imagine how, first of all, how hard it
(10:26):
is to go through this period, how hard this is
to go through at forty nine, how hard this is
to go through on television, and how hard this is
to go through with the Peanut Gallery telling you you're too.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Old to have a baby? Absolutely everybody unpack all that.
My god.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Well, the thing is that when I.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Was able to actually admit to myself that I also
wanted a baby, it was really an awake awakening, you know,
And I don't know how to really describe it. You know,
it was just like, it's just like imagining. Yeah, it's
just like imagining something that you really really want and
you think you could never have it, and then all
(11:11):
of a sudden it appears, and you're like, wait, so
do I dare hope? And you know how hope is
That bitch can kick you in the ass, you know
what I'm saying. And so I was like, God, do
I even dare to hope for this? And I really
do believe in divine timing and all those things. I
so Winston Duke, he's an actor. He played one of
(11:33):
the characters in Black Panther.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
He's a friend.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
And I had just had my fibroid surgery, which I
also did on the show in hopes of, of course,
clearing the way so that I could carry a pregnancy.
And he didn't know any of that. He just called
me late one night, you know, and check it up.
On me and see how I'm doing. And I was
asking him how he's doing, and he's like, oh, he's
about to go into you know, he's investing in a
(11:59):
clinic first. And I was like, what is she doing.
He was like, well, she's one of the top, you know,
like IVF Black women IVF.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Doctors in the country. And I was like, I'm sorry,
what did you say?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Come again?
Speaker 1 (12:13):
You know?
Speaker 2 (12:14):
But it was one and it was so crazy because
he says this, and heether I tell you, I started crying.
And so he's on the phone like hello, both everything okay,
Like everything all right?
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Did I say something wrong?
Speaker 2 (12:26):
You know? And I was like, I was like, no,
you won't believe this. I was like, I was like,
literally just had five boyd surgery. Maybe I was like
five days out for my surgery. I was like, I
just had five boys surgery me and you know, my
man are considering going through this.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
I didn't know where to start. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I actually don't personally know anyone who has gone through it.
I was like, so I don't even know what to do.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
And now you call me. Tell me your sister is a.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Black woman and she's like a doctor and she's successful.
Like what, so, girl, I took my ass to Vegas.
That's where office.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Oh, that's where her.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
And I talked to her and she was fantastic, you know,
she because she understood my fear of my own body, which,
by the way, is a whole nother thing to unpack,
like the trusting of your body to deliver what maybe
you know you think you can't. And I wanted to
do it in steps, you know. First, I was like, okay,
am I Am I healthy enough to carry a pregnancy.
(13:24):
If not, that's okay, But I just want to know
if I can do it, so I can rest.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Because you would have considered surrogacy absolutely yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
And so I was like, okay, let me let me
rest that first. She's like, okay, you know you are.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
She was like, girl, you could carry a baby to
your fifty six. You're fine, You're healthy, fantastic, You're gonna
be fine.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I was like, Okay.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Then comes the process of retrieving X, which we all
know is the most horrible thing on the planet. Oh,
it's the worst, girl, And I'm not.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
The loving sweet doctor. I'm guessing I am telling you
that usually the IVF it's like a factor. Oh, jes
did you have to do that historo l pingogram thing.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
I don't know what that is.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
It was like putting your legs and stirrups and having
someone work that works at Jiffy Loup go in and
clean out your twos. Oh, I'm telling you it was like.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Knocked me out for a couple of these things. Maybe
that maybe it was one of them.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Oh, I'm glad you got knocked out.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
No, I can't stand it.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
I was like, no, just take me out. But anyway,
my point is that I wanted to do everything in stages.
You know, I wanted to make sure that I was
healthy first. I wanted to do that check it off.
Then it was the egg pills and the injections and
the weeks and the things and the trigger shots and
all of that to all your filming, all while filming.
So first of all, my hormones are completely out of control,
(14:45):
out of whack, and I'm trying to keep up these women,
and some of those meds make you just in whatsane,
insane like I which people understood what a master class
I did on this show, just based on the fact
that I can control my emotion and my mouth. It's
showing this whole thing. Like I was like, you know
how many times I want to let loose and I'll
(15:06):
sitting there like just hold on, don't do it.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
This ain't real. This is not real.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Your emotions right now not real talking myself down most
of the times. That was Once we were on a
girl's ship to Dona and it was at the height
of like I think I was just about to take
a trigger shot or something. We were going to come
back and I was going to go straight to retrieve,
and poor Nico, my assistant, came in to like give
me some breakfast. Yeo, girl, I ate him, ate him up,
(15:36):
but I was like, cut him up, taste good, you
know what I mean. And it was like I think
for me, it was like And the funny thing is,
as soon as I did it, I was like, oh
my god, I'm so.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
You know.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
And so it's like you're doing all of this, going
through all this people are telling you're two old, feeding
into the doubts and the fears I already have, ye
and then having to go through the disappointment of you know,
fertilizing eggs, getting embryos and then they don't make it,
you know, and having to do with.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
That, So you didn't implant them.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
They just didn't make they didn't make a right, So
didn't implant them. Did that twice? Then I was like,
you know what, actually I need to take a little break. Yeah,
you know, like I was on the way to the
third and I was like, you know what, like I
just don't feel it, like I feel like I got it.
I got to stop for a second and just regather myself.
And I mean, look, we've had the whole gamut of
(16:32):
the conversation. Do we use donor eggs? You know, do
we have a surrogate? Do we adopt? You know, It's
like so all of those conversations are still into play.
The one thing we know is that we absolutely want
to raise a human together.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
So great that for me, is that statement right there,
That's how I think we should all be entering parenthood.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Yes, yeah, well I want to raise a human?
Speaker 1 (17:04):
How does your daughter feel about that?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
So here, you know what's so funny, So when Layelle
was like three, and she was three years old and
she sat me down, you know one of these like
you know, when Toddler.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Her PowerPoint presidence kill me?
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Yeah, correct, exactly where I was a.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Buyer a iPad.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
I was like, is gonna exactly you and the rest
of the annoying Instagram aunties who give that child anything
she wants, And I'm over here like to come over
on my side. I'm like, you, you are on my side.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Never forget that, you know, I'm totally on your side.
But I totally messed up with all my children. But
they're really good humans, and they're very very grateful people,
and they're grounded. But I did that all wrong, So
you said, layout Auntie Heather.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yes, exactly.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Anyway, Leolle takes me by the hand. You know how
toddlers do, They like drag you think they're going to
have a really important conversation. So I'm just kind of
playing along with her, and she sits me down on
the couch. I remember exactly where we're in New York,
like in you.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Know, our apartment. She sits me down on the couch.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
She plops up next to me, and she looks at
me and she's like, I don't want any brothers or sisters.
And I was like, what you know what I mean? Well,
what happened was one of her little classmates to the
daycare or the pre k whatever came in and I
guess they had like a little brother, and they were
very excited about it. And she looked at that like
it was horrific. She was just like, what the hell
(18:27):
is that?
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Why would you celebrate this? I mean, she was horrified.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
So she came home and she was like, I just
want to be clear, because she was like, oh, your
mommy brought that thing home. Let me go. Let me
go talk to mine and make sure she don't even
consider doing that. No, seriously sat me down. And by
the way, if she were here, she would tell you
that it has been consistent her entire life that when
other people are like, oh my little brother, she's like, god,
(18:50):
I can't even imagine it, you know, not I. And
so I was so scared, you know, to talk to
her about this because, by the way, not that like
I was like, oh, you control my womb, but I was,
you know, I was like, well she had another fear,
because we're done with that anyway. So when Keighly and
I were having the conversation and I was like, oh
(19:11):
my god, this is actually a real thing. Yeah, I
was like I have to go tell her.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
How am I going to tell her? So I take
you a PowerPoint. These are the reasons why you should
have called me first. You give her the iPad.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Exactly, yes, the power the power of point telling her
why we should have a baby. But no, she said, Actually,
interestingly enough, we actually had one of the first conversations
about this on the show. So it was after I
had told her like, hey, look this is what I'm considering,
but we didn't really get into it. And then we
had a conversation that was filmed and she was looking
(19:48):
at me and I was like, oh man, this is
gonna go so bad. You know. I was just like,
might I even agree to do this one exactly? Like right,
I'm like, maybe we need to just hold on, don't
tell anybody. And she looked at me and she said,
you know, you've been such a great mom. She was like,
I want somebody else to experience that. And I was like, girl,
(20:08):
of course, the water works and all the things, and
so from that moment, I was like, girl, are you
sure you want it? Like now it's okay, and she
was like yeah, she want else exactly. She's like, I'm
out of here anyway, so somebody else come in and
mess this up.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Well, yeah, listen, I give you all the props and
the well where are you? Where are you now? Are
you still on?
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Poor p?
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Pause?
Speaker 2 (20:32):
I'm just taking a break. And then I think after
the weddings, we're going to regroup, you know, and decide
what to do. Also, I think it's better. You know,
people have given me some really good advice and some
people said our acupuncture. I know, for myself, it's like,
you know, I also got to bring my stress levels
down right now. I think I'm just doing too much
to you know, really have my body in a good place.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
I know, listen, after three IVF kids and then having
the next amazing, Everyone's like, well you just had to rely.
I'm like, okay, everybody, I haven't been relaxed in fifteen years.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Did you carry them or did you have a I did?
Speaker 2 (21:08):
You did? I did?
Speaker 1 (21:09):
So?
Speaker 2 (21:09):
You had them implanted, carried all of them?
Speaker 1 (21:11):
I did. We put in four embryos the first time.
Well that's back then they did that right and.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Right there?
Speaker 1 (21:18):
No, I know, I was. I actually carried triplets for
like fourteen weeks and then we lost one. Yeah, and
then which I used to be it was a girl
and I used to be like, you know, insane about it.
And be very I mean, of course, I'm still I
think about it. But but I had the twins. I
(21:39):
had Max and Nikki, boy and girl, and then I
wanted the experience of having one kid. So we had
to start over, right, So we had to go back
and do the EGGRATRYVLM the whole thing. So we did that,
and I ended up with three embryos, and I said,
I don't care, put in the strongest one. I have
a boy and girl. I don't care, and they go well.
And so Terry and I had to have this conversation.
(22:00):
I'm sure I'm going to be met with lots of
comments from this, but Terry and I had to have
this conversation because there was a boy and a girl
that were the strongest. And so it's like, if the
lab guide decides, is that the universe or God or
so if he decides versus we, So we had to go, well,
let's talk about this. So we ended up putting in
(22:22):
the girl because I came from a family of sisters,
and so we put in the girl. And that's Katerina.
And I swear like, I cannot imagine a world without
this person. She's such a special human being. I mean,
they're all special, but there's just there's something about Cat
(22:43):
that she's going to do something for the world. I
don't know. And so if that hadn't happened, we wouldn't
have Cat because we would have chosen the boy. And
so I still have two frozen really and then I
have my youngest. So we have the four because when
I had my third, she had some health issues. She's fine,
but she wasn't walking or crawling or talking by fifteen
(23:06):
months wow, which is terrified. And this doctor said she
was a practic it wouldn't have four words by the
age of four. She goes to Yale. You know what.
She's fine anyway.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
See now, so you shouldn't say stuff like that to me,
because look, I come from an evangelical Christian household, and
I will catch the spirit and just run around this room,
lay myself on the ground, start.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Speaking in tongue, okay, praising God for the miracle. Yes, amen?
Speaker 2 (23:29):
And she is.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
I will tell you she's thriving at Yale. Amen.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yes, testimony. Somebody better tell it.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
But then we decided we weren't having any more kids
because I was like, we have three healthy children, I'm done.
And we've got two totsicles and we're just gonna leave
them there and whatever.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
And then I got her and then boom boom, Yeah pregnant.
So I'm sorry. Now now i'm the captain. Now I'm
in charge of this interview. But you went into IVF because.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
I couldn't get pregnant. As someone who is in control
many things in their lives and as someone who you know,
you go through your younger years trying not to get
have mercy and then you're like, well I'm ready, Yes,
So here we became we're in charge. Listen, next Tuesday
(24:23):
would be a conception time because we're going to take
that trip whatever.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
And I couldn't.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
And we tried to try to try to try to try,
and nothing was working. And I was thirty four. They
were already saying a m A advanced maternal age geriatric.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
PREGNANCYIA with the geriatric.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
And so, and I was an actress. I was trying
to I was trying to have a child in between projects.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Yeah, the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
And then I did all the things the colmates in
the I U I yes, and I need did a break, Okay,
So I took a break for pilot season and then
we decided we were going to take the next step
to YEA and I remember it was the most bizarre
thing because you're trying to live your normal life. But
I remember I had my eggs extracted one day in
(25:16):
the morning and went to a network test that night,
and I didn't get the part. It would be a
better story.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
Have you got the part them?
Speaker 3 (25:25):
No, But it's still a pretty badass story.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Though.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
I don't know if it's like, you know, maybe we
shouldn't praise, you know, like putting your body all the
way through.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
But I mean, I think there's something really gone to some.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Sel normal yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and feeling like
a strong, capable person when you're in the middle of
doing that's so out of your control. And so yes,
it was a totally insane thing to do, but you
know what I did it.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
That's about it.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Ah, Well that's a It's a beautiful story, you know.
I just feel like, also, the beauty of being on
this show is that even all the crazy negatives and
people having their comments, there have been hundreds, hundreds, maybe
I was thousands, Yeah, of messive boards of people who
are like, girl, go for it. You know. I went
(26:14):
through four rounds. I did three rounds. I use a
donor egg, you know what, all of the things. There
was somebody who offered me her eggs.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
I was gonna say, I got two talks with you.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
I was thinking it good home. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
I was saying, we have one little white baby in
our house. I'm not quite sure how that's gonna work out.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I have a boy and a girl. No nudging, though
we know jeans, they're smart, they go to good schools.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
I believe it.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
I'm gonna talk to Killie about that, Like you want
Terry and Heather's baby or.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
No, just saying people used to think I was the
mother of Andy Cohen's baby.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Oh, Ben, Now that is some lore I would get into. Yes,
I'm not resurrect that rumor. I'm like, I went on
Heather's podcast and she told me, she told me she's
the mother. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
When I came back to the show, Andy comes on
my podcast. We're talking and I go, and I was joking.
I was like, let's de bunk some members because there
was rumors I was coming back to Housewives. I go,
let's do bunk some members.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
He's like, Okay, I go.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Rumor has it I'm your child's mother, because I think
one time he had asked me for my eggs. I'm like,
I have embryo.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Yeah, it was a whole Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Well listen, I could talk to you for literally days.
We might need a retreat or a trip to Paris. No, okay, language,
thank you, Okay, girls, trip to Paris. I don't don't
temp me with.
