Today, we call a guy who's been set up by
his wife for months now. We've been talking with her
non stop, trying to plan maybe the most devious prank call.

Speaker 2 (00:10):

We had to wait this long because she's having minor
surgery and she wanted to use that to her advantage. Okay,
how well, he's supposed to pick her up at the
hospital once the procedure is done, so he's been waiting
by the phone to see when it's okay to swing by. Oh,
this is a sensitive moment. I promise he was not

Hello, Hi, is this Rodney Moon. Yes it is hi.
This is doctor Hackman.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Oh I'm doing your wife, Linda's laparoscopic gallbladder removal.

Speaker 2 (00:56):

that we had to deal with.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Are you I'm sorry? Are you outside by an ice
cream truck? I'm sorry what you said? You had to

outside getting ice cream? I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
No, no, that that would be irresponsible. It just it
mustn't be driven by the hospital or something.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I don't know. It sounds really closed. Are you what's
happening over there? Doctor Hawkman gins at the front of

That you were waiting for the call to come pick
up your wife.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I am not an idiot. I understand what's happening over there.
My question is why why we're doing the surgery for
your wife? No, why are you taking a cause from
the surgery to get a cream cicicle? Whatever? Was just
saying I'm not getting a cream sickle.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I'm just letting you know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (02:38):

You are clearly ordering ice cream right now, and I

tell you that you can hold off on coming to
pick up your wife, stay at home, have another beer,
watch another episode of NCIS or whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
It's just gonna take a little bit longer. This is unbelievable.
I need to talk to your supervisor or someone in
charge of you.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Well, the only person who would technically be my supervisor
would be your wife, and she wanted me to pass
the message along to you that you're being pranked.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
On the radio right now. What are you talking about.

I'm not really a doctor. My name is jeff from
the radio show Brooke and Jeffrey in the Morning. This

Speaker 2 (03:54):
What, Oh my gosh, are you hitting the ice cream truck? Sound?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Your wife has been setting this up with us for
two months because she knew the surgery was coming up.

Speaker 2 (04:12):

Oh my god, the doctor took a break from surgery
for ice cream.
